I've been thinking about how Gamefreak treats "non Pokemon" ideas

In Sun and Moon Ultra beasts were not Pokemon but Alien creatures from between dimensions, Abortions of reality that are conquering invaders. This was backed up by stuff like the Tapu's being actual menaces implied to have invaded a long time ago despite being "guardians" of Alola. It was a really cool concept that I was all in for but then USUM changed it to "Pokemon from different universes".

Now recently we have Paradox Pokemon. From the outset they are defined as Pokemon but different. before the DLC they were Pokemon that paradoxically can not exist. Like why are the Future Pokemon all Robot and how could Sandy Shocks even exist in 10,000 BC. The implication is they were willed into existence by the drive for adventure and danger in Area Zero by Terapagos as these Pokemon were in Area Zero BEFORE the time machine. The DLC changes them to just like the ultra beasts being from "Caveman Poke-earth" or "Robot Poke-earth"

My conclusion is Gamefreak is so afraid of cool ideas that they'll have to give room to after Megas became so beloved. Regional Forms were a big idea and they didn't want to overshadow them with post game aliens each game so they tried to devalue Ultra Beasts. Same happened with Paradox Pokemon probably, they probably liked the Convergent Pokemon idea (despite only making fucking six of em) they decided to make Paradox Pokemon just a weird one off idea. I'm honestly tired of it.

Pyritized OMANYTE//OMASTAR & Pyritized KABUTO//KABUTOPS

A Pyritized fossil is one where during the formation of said fossil it becomes iron pyrite, a mineral know as "fool's gold" due to its golden shine. This process is common in fossils from the Paleozoic era like Ammonites and Trilobites

This versions of OMANYTE and KABUTO are revived from such pyritized fossils, this not only changes their color, giving them both a golden shell, but also changes their type, now being Water/Steel type

Iron Jets - Paradox Pokemon Fighting/Flying Type A certain book describes an extremely agile air fighter which streaks through the night sky, locking on to airborne targets before kicking them to the ground. Some theorise it was built by humans as a defense system against alien invaders.

Happy Nee Year of the Rabbit! And to celebrate I made this new future paradox pokemon, a Future Paradox of LOPUNNY (With some Mega LOPUNNY into the mix)

It uses the turbines on its hands to propel itself in its flight mode and to create powerful wind blasts during fights

While LOPUNNY is partially inspired in bunny suits, which are very popular in Japan (and all over the world) In keeping with the Flying and Airplane theme, Iron Wings is inspired by Stewardesses' uniforms
