2023 // I started the year writing a thesis chapter about grief. Back in January I had no idea to what extent that would become the theme of my life this year. I am kind of glad I didn’t know what was to come — I don’t think I would have felt like I could bear it. But I have born it. I am still bearing it. And yes, the grief and heartache are greater than I could have imagined it before this year. But so is the love. And despite everything, I am grateful. I am growing around my grief. And I still have a lot of growing left to do before I might be able to feel like something resembling whole. But I am growing into something bigger and better than I ever imagined. I am growing in love. And I can’t wait to see where it leads me.

i dont know who needs to hear this but you do not need to go on a diet. you do not need to lose weight as a new year resolution. you do not need to feel shame for gaining any weight over the holidays and for enjoying yourself and the food. you do not need to tolerate diet talk after setting a boundary and if someone cant respect that then theyre being the asshole. you already have a summer body. you already are hot. theres no moral failure or shame in being fat

2b nier automata is literally the funniest protagonist of all time because since her design is so sexualized tons of people flooded to the game to look at big anime ass only for her in the very first second of gameplay, before you've even seen the characters, go "why are we here. just to suffer? god, im so fucking sad"

then because nier automata sold so well, due to it being fucking fantastic and the aforementioned anime ass, every gacha under the sun went "oh shit can we have collab with 2b please please please" and yoko taro (i assume) was like "yeah sure" so now she's in like 20 games surrounded by anime thotties going "uwaaah i really hope commander-san notices how short my skirt is!" and she's in the background going
