7. Any worldbuilding you’re particularly proud of?

I might be cheating a little bit but oMaM is feeling pretty good to me right now, granted Skyrim already has an existing world but I like to add in my own interpretation of the lore and certain areas and events so I'm counting that LOL

15. What’s your favorite AU that you’ve written?

Probably the KNY Idol Au (although I still haven't published the fic LOL... it's only two chapters,,, so rn its still just a collection of ramblings and a few drawings)

34. What aspects of your writing are inspired by/taken from your real life?

Uhh I'm not sure if this counts but I tend to project onto the main/POV character in what I'm writing, especially if its a fic of a character that I really like. So little random stuff will be actually stuff that I do. The most tangible example I can list off right now is in Liebesfreud:

"'You were just staring at your phone like you got some huge news or something. Did you win a Words with Friends game?' 'No,' Zenitsu said. He never won those. He was convinced Susan was a huge cheater."

I used to play Words With Friends a lot and I think it's funny to imagine Zenitsu playing it so that's like a direct nod to my real life/habits I suppose.

But anyways-

He probably plays a lot of chess and card games given the chance and a worthy opponent. He'd join tournaments, he's not exactly competitive but still likes the feeling of outsmarting his opponents. He reads a lot (horror and thrillers despite his overactive imagination, and… sometimes, trashy romance). He'll happily critique or pick apart trashy movies and admittedly, he's fond of cartoons and silent films.

Even though some "scary" movies amuse him more than scare him, he's interested in criminal psychology in an almost morbid way, keeping himself up late at night reading about horrific crimes.

Socializing heavily isn't really his thing, he's shy, easily overstimulated and keeps to himself. Contrasting with his partner Anger, who's always dragging Fear to noisy gatherings where there's a lot of booze, smoke and jazz music. It's ok though, Fear gets to drag Anger to the theater (where Anger will usually wind up falling asleep from the boredom, if Fear's commentary doesn't keep him awake).

Lately a certain thief lady is on Inspector Fear's mind and he spends an awful lot of time thinking about her and trying to find her, even and especially during his off-hours, though whether it's "fun" is up for debate.

I suddenly remember That you never told us how a meeting between Prime/Archie! Sonic and Fleetway (Amnesiac/Good) Super Sonic would go.

Also I want to read Fleetway Sonic and scourge reactions if They somehow end Up dating (I like Fleetonic and I need something to draw lol)

I imagine any meeting between Prime and Super would likely come after Prime has already had the misfortune of meeting Sonic, and subsequently had at least one (1) argument about Super. If the argument hasn't already happened by the time Prime and Super meet, it's definitely imminent. I imagine Prime would be a lot more forgiving of Super than Sonic is (partly because he just doesn't have the same baggage Sonic does and partly because he's just overall less of a dick) so he'd be sympathetic to his plight. He'd be much quicker to believe Super when he says he doesn't want to be that evil person who hurts and kills people for fun. Sonic would scoff and call him a trusting idiot, but it's not that Prime is oblivious to or ignoring the danger that Super can cause, he just doesn't believe dogpiling the guy about it will actually help his situation

Sonic's reaction to finding out they're dating would just be more "I think you're fucking stupid" or, depending on how not-awful his relationship with Super is, just a quiet scoff. He probably tells Prime that if he's soooo fond of Super, then he can take Super with him back to his dimension, but he's probably also secretly worried about Prime actually following through, because if anything goes wrong, Sonic isn't there to help stop it. Chaos energy in the fleetway dimension is fucky and corrupted; for all his bitching and "don't come crying to me if he tries to kill all your friends", Sonic doesn't actually want another universe to suffer from that corrupted energy. He definitely doesn't want the chaos energy in the prime zone to become corrupted the same way his was, either

I can't imagine Scourge has much emotional attachment to Super to care too much. Like, he sees a part of himself in Super, specifically in how both of their identities used to be tied to Sonic, but he doesn't like that he can relate to Super. He doesn't hate or dislike him, but he definitely doesn't like him, either. He just often ends up being the one Ebony calls for out of everyone else in the freedom fighters because he's the one with the least amount of history with Super, so Super doesn't put him on edge the same way he does everyone else. So if Super started dating Prime, he'd probably just make some snarky comment about weak-hearted goody-two-shoes flocking together

Ultimately, the two of them together will probably mock the relationship. They probably only find out because one of them comes home and immediately starts bitching about how "did you HEAR Super and Prime are dating now???" and then they spend an hour talking shit about them. After all, even if Sonic has warmed up to Super a little, he probably still doesn't trust him or is comfortable being around him, and Scourge is a stubborn fucker who won't change his mind about disliking Prime out of sheer spite, so neither Prime nor Super have much of Sonic and Scourge's respect

11. The other cultists. How did your Durge view them? Did they enjoy their following or did they dread being idolised?

He took to becoming the leader of the church very well.

After actively trying (and failing) to resist the Urge before Sceleritas Fel guided him toward the temple, he was suddenly being praised to no end for his heritage and the gifts which he possessed.

Perhaps he didn't need to change after all. Embrace the Urge, just like Father and everybody else wants him to.

He enjoyed being propped up - being given purpose and an important one at that. He did eventually reach a point where he got very used to having people fall before him and kiss his feet. Major bratty favourite child vibes toward the end of his pre-tadpole phase.

He was as reasonable as a Bhaalist leader probably can be. When he would feast, the others could too. He gladly led all ceremonies and rituals, knowing he was serving his Father well. If any followers needed guidance, he would point them in the direction of a few souls within the city who wouldn't be missed, but would be readily accepted by Bhaal.

Kaidos would also, however, not hesitate to keep his followers in line. If needs be, he will use them as an example to all other cultists on how not to behave under Bhaal's roof before spilling their blood on Father's altar.

15. Bhaal handcrafted Durge. Do they enjoy and worship their appearance, or did they have a rebellious phase, trying their best to change their Lord Father's grand design?

I think I mentioned this in a now deleted joke-ish post before, but all of Kaidos' tattoos and piercings are in honour of Bhaal. He really felt like he owed everything to his Father, and so actively made his entire body a dedication to him. (nsfw part but he even has dick piercings also in honour of him. how did bhaal feel about that? idk he probably liked it)

As a child, he was a very lanky tiefling boy, and he was a little self conscious of it just because he was so much taller than all of the other children in the Lower City. As a teen and on his own pre-temple, he was still noticeably big and self conscious about it, given he was actively trying to hide and shut himself away from the world.

However, as soon as he was in the temple and suddenly being praised for just being him, he really started to love himself. All of the muscle he has now is thanks to Kaidos once again dedicating his body to his Father; becoming the ultimate weapon to achieve his one true purpose.

and there was so much they could have done with archie renaux's character instead of the route they took. it was just lazy, imo. actually that's the best word i would use to describe the movie as a whole: lazy. it had a lot of potential and it could have been really great if they just took the time to give some more nuance to the dialogue/story

Asheva is the main overall setting for many of my stories (Pro:Des included); it is a small continent surrounded by a storm that never ends. Asheva was created by a being known as the God of Reality (or colloquially, the Administrator).

It's said that the Administrator fell into the world through a dream and created a land she could escape reality to. Over time, as she continued building this inner fantasy, she would grow weaker and weaker, so she created the Deities to watch over the land in her absence. And when that time came, she walked off into the horizon, never to be seen again.

It's contested whether or not the Admin actually existed as the only record of her existence comes from Deities who have long since passed or have reincarnated too many times to truly remember.

In the cool, plush core of the moon sleeps a mouse as we speak, dreaming of a world lush and green, then golden and undulating, then chopping and churning, a world of many surfaces with skies of many moods.

Your body is the solar system, each planet a world within the body, and each knows this glow in different ways. Some are nurtured by its warmth, others by its distance. Regardless of the sun's changes, they stay the course encircling it.

The universe cannot be held back, harnessed, fully comprehended. It pulls at the seams of solar systems as it pulls on its own seams. In that unstoppable shifting, we stumble. Sometimes it feels like our love and light slips from our fingers, shattering irrevocably in our falls. But what makes us cannot be seperated from us, even in times where our essence is obscured.

There is always another life to appreciate your life, no matter what happens. And in the least, there is always a little mouse in you that understands you in telescopic clarity and offers forgiveness for every change--no matter what, right into the end of time.

i DO actually have at least one fic planned! i'm in the middle of plotting it out right now because it's gonna be a 5+1 fic (which i have never attempted before so i'm weirdly nervous? about that? lmao) and i'm very excited to be able to work on it hehe. as for fic recs iiii don't have anything off the top of my head because i'm in the middle of something right now but probably sometime this next week i'm going to update my fic rec spreadsheet with all the shazam fics i've found that i enjoy! i'll probably make a post when they've been added. the sheet needs a bit of an overhaul tbh now that i've combined the old d.smp sheet with everything else.

i mean i think the way i've seen patreons and things like that designed in the past would have some kind of a donation tier, but honestly i haven't thought that far into yet.

i do agree additional written benefits make sense, like access to chapters early or access to rough drafts or maybe even a few of my abandoned works.... but my concern is more that i would have people sign up and pay a monthly fee expecting monthly consistent content, and i'm nervous that the pressure would mean i'm writing more slowly or that i would rush to put out work before i was happy with it.

i really wouldn't want to take advantage of people's money in that way if i couldn't consistently deliver, so i totally agree i just worry about letting y'all down.

as far as the discord goes.... that's a fair point but i think if i were to do it, i would probably have it be part of a donation. creating a discord server and moderating it is more work that i think people think. i would really want to make sure the server is a safe space for people to talk and share their opinions, but i don't know all of my readers personally so there's a chance something like a discord gets messy and i'd have to moderate it more intentionally.

i don't talk about my real life on here often, but truly finding the time for that would be hard. i work ~50+ hours a week most weeks and my job is challenging and client facing. i'm also learning an entirely new skill right now which eats into my personal time. this plus maintaining healthy irl friendships, my relationship with my partner, and keeping up with regular life maintenance means my free time has to be spent on writing or i'd never publish anything. finding time for moderating a discord would be a bit more of a chore, so if i were to create it i would need to put it behind a pay wall for my own sanity lol

you're usually not one to mind—given the way his schedules these days barely even spare the time for him to rest, you understand that your boyfriend is bound to be less like his usual self. you've sat down with chris to talk about it early in your relationship—the expectations, the ideal and less-than-ideal situations, the how-tos, and 4 years in, everything has all worked out just fine.

lately, however,

chris has been acting really strange.

"babe, i'm home," chris' voice softly echoed through the apartment, followed by the rustling of what you could assume is the layer of jacket and hoodie you got him to wear to battle the dropping temperatures of november seoul. "where are you?"

"kitchen!" you chirped, swiftly rinsing off the pots and pans you've been battling against for the past 10 minutes, "i'm still washing the dishes. are you hungry? i made some curry for dinner, it's in the—babe? are you okay?"

the cheeriness in your voice immediately turned into worry when you felt chris' arms around your waist, holding you tight as he allows himself to melt onto you, face buried in the crook of your neck.

after all the years of being at the receiving end of chris' special mix of physical affection, you've naturally learned to differentiate the meaning in your boyfriend's touches—is he just being affectionate? or is he trying to tease you? is he jealous of the interaction you had? or did he sense something and is trying to keep you safe? you have always been able to read chris just from the way his skin grazes upon yours, and so far you've barely ever been wrong,

but god, you sincerely hope you're hitting far from the mark this time.

"hey," you softly called out upon the absence of chris' response, quickly disregarding the dishes to rinse your soapy hands before turning to face chris' tired features, "is everything alright, my love?"

instead of an answer, chris simply leaned onto your touch as soon as your hands came to cradle his cheeks—ones freezing from the cold weather he just escaped moments ago, and only then, you realized just how long it has been since you've properly seen your boyfriend.

how come you haven't noticed the dark, looming shadow in his eyes? or the way his skin had lost its usual glow and instead grew dry with the season? how come you didn't see the way the corner of his lips had grown heavier, or the way his curls you oh-so adored had adopted its long forgotten frizz?

how come it took you so long to properly see chris?

"i'm sorry, baby," running the pads of your thumbs across chris' cheeks, you forced yourself to swallow the lump of guilt lodged in your throat, "i just realized i've been too inattentive to you, and i'm sorry. have you been wanting to talk it out with me?"

and only then, you saw the faint glimmer you fell in love with, peeking between the grey clouds in chris' eyes.

"yeah," despite the hoarseness in his voice, you could hear the warmth returning in the words chris uttered as he nodded, "but i just… i didn't know how to bring it up since i knew you've been dealing with your own stuff as well."

chris quietly exhaled, soft breath grazing your lips when he leaned his forehead onto yours and let his eyes fluttered close, allowing his walls of self-protection to finally crumble as he speaks, "i'm sorry, baby. it was never my intention to let this fester for this long or to make you feel bad in any way. i just didn't know how. i promise."

you know you're not perfect, and neither is chris—but you also know chris has always made it his life mission to make sure you're the happiest you've ever been when you're with him. one honest mistake will never erase the efforts and sacrifice chris has ever made for you, and you'll never let that happen.

"i know, baby," you hummed, lightly dragging the tips of your nails against his scalp when your fingers found the dark locks of his hair, "i don't blame you. i shouldn't have assumed about your condition and let it slip too. i won't let it happen again, i promise."

and you can feel the way chris' shoulder relax at the words you utter,

because just like him, he knows you'll do everything in your power to keep every single one of your promises.

"thank you, baby," chris pulled you into his embrace, completely engulfing you in his warmth while he pressed his lips on your forehead. "i promise i'll try to be better at this too, and thank you for being patient with me. i love you."

it didn't matter how many times have you heard chris whisper those three words in your ears, or how many times have he held you like you're everything that ever mattered to him,

chris will always make your soul feel the most alive it has ever been.

"i love you too, baby," you finally allowed yourself to smile as your arms found their way around your boyfriend's waist, holding him close as you listen to the rhythm of his heartbeat—

"…babe?"

"…yeah," chris sheepishly nodded while rubbing his stomach, "i haven't had lunch too, actually…"

a protest involuntarily slip past your lips along with the forming lines of frown between your eyebrows, perfectly portraying your disapproval of chris' course of action.

"go sit down, i'll fix your plate for you," shaking your head, you turned towards the pot of warm curry on the stovetop in faux disappointment before you continued,

"and we'll talk about whatever's been stressing my christopher out, okay?"

Someone who's very patient and understanding, Haleth is weird with social cues and takes a while to fully open up and trust people. Also someone with a soothing vibe bc she's an anxious bitch who needs constant reassurance.

Erden

Someone who's non judgemental abt his past, adventurous and open to trying new things, who can offer him a sence of stability without been too overbearing. Also not afraid to call him out on his bullshit.

🍋- What is their kryptonite/ultimate weakness?

Haleth

Her lack of social skills, she sucks at social interactions, doesn't really have any friends, and if she does make friends (once she's comfortable with them) she gets obsessively attached and can't/doesn't know how to cope if they leave her.

Erden

His family or any mention of them. It's always been sore point for him not really knowing where he came from, he doesn't like talking about it and gets pissy if anyone asks him.
