i was lookin at a few vids about the bg3 dream visitor romance [spoilers if anyone's still early game i guess lol] and like i was so shocked people were, like, so upset and betrayed when they discovered the dream visitor's true form fksdjgkdljf like okay i forgot not every corner of the internet has monsterfuckers and also i guess normies are playing this game. and ALSO it reminded me that the % of players that even have the steam achievement of sleeping w/the emperor at all is so low. 12.7%. why is everyone a coward. i'm not even a self proclaimed monsterfucker. i dont like sex and im mildly phobic of tentacles. WHY IS EVERYONE A COWARD!!!!!

tho to be fair probably a lot of ppl are also romancing a companion and wanna be faithful - ive only gotten to that scene in multiplayer where none of us were in companion romances so it was guilt free go for it see what happens, in the discord call all together LOL..... then we had a lover's spat after the raphael fight 😑

Okokok thoughts on the dragon age trailer. 1) I have GOT to read the books now god dammit and 2) I actually like the idea of a more stylized art style. I doubt the trailer is gonna be the in game style but tbh I don't like heavily realistic game styles. #personal #ash plays bg3 #undescribed #time to do the house of hope i think #the buffs arent specifically for that tho. this is my usual daily setup #although i only remember to use elixirs when im doing something major #but that's every day atm because im at the end of the game. i think house of hope is all i have left #unless i wanna kill gortash. which i dont. although i might give it a go for fun and then reload #god this screenshot is missing some oops. gale usually has expeditious retreat so that he also gets supreme defences #also astarion and minthara both have more when they're obscured #hm actually re: gortash.. i havent done the steel watch factory so that's gonna be a tougher fight if i decide to do it #might do it anyway. we'll see if i feel like finishing the game right away after raphael

thinking of. jae seeing her relationship with the rogue trader in terms of power. as a mutually beneficial business transaction. she spent all her life with people constantly holding power over her -- what makes this one, a veritable rogue trader, any different?

and even after the rogue trader finds out the truth, possibly encouraging her to be her "true self", jae pushes them and that idea away. because the idea that this world would accept her as she is, is more like a naive fairy tale to her. because that's not how the world works! if it was then she shouldn't have needed to do the things she did to get to where she is now.

and now she refuses to be naked and vulnerable with the rogue trader again because with this truth, they truly hold immense power over her like no one else had in probably a very long time.

Well, I think I have to abandon my durge run and start a new one. I somehow triggered Wyll's dance scene (again in a different playthrough) and I was not intending to have this character romance him and I cannot look at that rejection face again. I took psychic damage the first time 😭

(yes I stopped before interacting with it, booted up my Karlach origin run and continued on with that one where I intend to have her romance Wyll... I have too many playthroughs in their baby stages)

Ive been taking my sweet ass time with totk haven't even touched the main quest yet, gonna get full stamina and all the hearts before I actually play the story

#this is what i live abt open world games #no need to start the story until i actually want to #i think thats something genshin kinda lacks?#i mean the open world is absolutely fantastic in totk and genshin but with genshin some puzzles in the open world you cant do #UNLESS you finish a really long quest #and i mean the quests arent hard but i prefer ignoring story stuff ans being able to actually explore without NEEDING the quest in order to #do so #which totk and botw did really well bc all the mandatory mechanics are things you get in the very beginning #and then ur just free to do whatever without needing the main quests #well #axtually i guess since some quests are aboit fixing environmental issues it kinda counts #but those environmental issues dont fully stop you from exploring the way the exploration in genshin does #i love both games #i mean w somw games i lose interest pretty fast like in a few months #but w genshin its been. 2 years? and im still not bored enough of the game to quit #i dont play the game for very long tho. i do some stuff then i close it which i guess is why i havent experienced full burnout #i think games w more freedom are just straight up better at keeping my attention for long periods of time #games w set paths like pokemon and some other story driven games donr keep my enjoyment for as long #i mean i love pokemon but it does get predictable and boring after a while #im not attached to genshin enough to want to stick with it no matter what tho like trust me the minute i get too bored to play #im leaving it w/o a second thought lol

I've just been playing the new cotl update for most of the day and I'm so so close to being done with the main new story bits I think but it's also past midnight but also I'm so excited idk if I'll be able to sleep but also god damn do I need to sleep

#rat rambles #and I know I wont have long to play when I wake up tomorrow since my friends will probably wanna continue our dont starve save #and I wanna too which is why I wont say no if they do but also aghhhhhh #Ill be able to finish it once they have to go to bed but thats so long Ill have to wait 😔#anyways I saved kalamar for last since hes the hardest originally but based off my current load out I think Ill be fine #aka literally every other bishop died in seconds due to my bomb demon being over level 30 lol #Im so glad they seem to scale further now its soooooo funny walking into a room with a boss and just watching them immediately explode #also Ive been using the golden fleece more and its been going pretty well #I got up to over 500% damage one run that was cool #Ive barely been touching the heavy attacks tho but tbf thats partially cause of keyboard mapping #Ive been having so so much fun with this update tho even if Im not a huge fan of a few aspects #this has brought so much more life to the combat portion to the game for me I havent had this much fun with the combat in a while #I do still need to collect all the rellics tho Im working on it #I also feel like I should buy all the new cards but man. none of them seem very appealing to me tbh #that is one of my big problems with cotl in general getting new cards can make it harder to get the more fun or useful ones #most of the actually useful cards are the base ones or ones given to you mostly for free #everything else is mildy useful or at least fun at best and actively useless at worst #like. ooo drop ichor on hit. wow. honestly give me deaths door at that point like jesus
