I feel like I'm going to lose a lot of followers for fallout showposting considering I think I've cultivated a gaggle of mostly new Vegas stans. Which a part of me does feel upset about in a knee jerk sort of way. But I haven't let other ppl dictate what I post on this blog yet and I'm not gonna start now so..... people who believe that modern precure is “falling off” are kind of insane i think
#very broad statement because i totally understand what they mean. i feel like a lot of more recent precure series' have been a little#more on the forgettable/mid tier (saying this just purely based on appearances alone. because thats a huge factor for me)#but thats always sort of been the case ... theres eh precure series from every point#kira kira has some of the most delightful designs and one of the strongest casts from any precure series#and i just was looking at a bunch of tropical rouge stuff (i will finish it someday LOL) and my gawd the fight scenes go hard#and the stylization in tropical rouge in my opinion is really lovely. it has sort of that average anime look to it but defines itself with#really fun shapes and expressiveness. i also think the color usage is just really good#wont ever get tired of the rainbow lineups where every cure just gets 1 color basically because its still done in a very appealing way#but i like when cures in a series get more interesting palettes#anyway - theres always more to want from precure. i know id go crazy if i made my own precure series. but theres also so much about precure#thats just so delightful and its quite a shame i think that its crazily popular in japan but was never properly brought over here#and when it was with smile precure (turned into glitter force) it was ... mangled#they also brought over doki doki (still under the glitter force title) and i only ever watched a bit of the dubbed version ... but i think#they might have kept it more intact ? but also havent tried any series after those two ?#i dont know all i remember is draculaura voiced the main girl (cure heart)#anyway my point was something. something something oh yeah i think the only thing id say aside from various things id hypothetically want#from future precure series (the list could go on forever) that i'll say right now is. i wish they went a little crazier with the styles for#each series. of course the style differs from series to series already but i want ...even more stylized ones#of course id be saying this when my second favorite series is heartcatch which has the coolest style and animation ever but oh my god#precure is precure and is basically appealing no matter what but ... also im a guy who just leans towards more interesting styles#i would like to continue star twinkle precure of course and think it is cute for what it is style wise but its also not my favorite#kind of style. this is more nitpicky hyper specific tastes though. im just rambling#most appealing looking precure series' in my personal opinion are futari wa. heartcatch. kira kira a la mode. and tropical rouge

its honestly so funny that my homophobic grandmother says that i should "make use of my talent" when it comes to art and that "if i had that spark glow, it was for something" girl............ i started to draw because i wanted to make gijinkas of the male fn4f animatronics kiss each other
#some security guards too. mostly fritz and jeremy#but yeah. i was 15; very into fn4f; very into fictional boys kissing. that was the magical thing that inspired me to draw my own things#which is funny because to this day i havent done a single kiss. i have something for which i did the pose with csp 3d models#now i need to just... draw it. and even then its not a kiss on the lips like i wanted when i was 15 lol its on the cheek#yes i have been drawing since 2015. no i havent drawn yet a kiss. we exist. also youre talking to the person who avoided drawing profiles#until last year; because i knew it wasnt going to be perfect and brain said 'nope; youre NOT going to do something that isnt perfect'#(wow i wonder why jadon is my favorite sindec character /s)#i still avoid to do things i know wouldnt end up the way i want the first try but also... kinda saying 'fuck it' and practicing anyway.#sometimes.#peak comedy is that the first profile i ever drew didnt actually.... turned out that bad. at least not in my simplified style of that time#and now im a bit more used to drawing them so theyre not THAT difficult to do. not in my current style at the very least#which is also rather simple. not saying theyre easy; theyre just not VEEERY complicated like. fucking hands or something#i sure as hell prefer drawing profiles over drawing hands#iván whispers

#imps bs#so i found that animation and listened to elevatoe man and made a charactet based form the song and kinda another character i like BUT#{found the animation about last week or a couple days ago idk my time perception is off}#poked around the channel found a pilot{?} for a show with the characters#watch it and go 'gee where can i find more stuff? this seems pretty cool and the style rocks!'#then i check twitter since im used to people having a twitter. nothing. go onto two sites they have linked in a video desc since i checked#-the channel for one at first#go on those and find out it was a pilot{?} and find merch stuff theyve made and i kinda want it now#did a bit more on twt and found out they had a tumblr account and posted art on there of the characters#found out they started from animal crossing so thats cool!#i was already making a big ref folder since i want to draw the guy and gal and now i have cool original art#blegh#im not even done with my ref folder bc in going frame by frame to get poses and colors since its a specific palette#＿|￣|○ dies#btw this usually happens when i get really into something#find every thing i can before i chill out and draw stuff {or draw stuff during it} and kinda die during the collection process#but i Will Not Stop because. um. mental illness i literally can't think of a betyer explanation#sorry for spouting shit i just havent explained my process before and my god do i just need to get it out of my system#anyway byeeee!!!!!! goodnight!!!!!!!! its 1 am and i always do this late at night!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe I forgot to post this-- I was looking thru my files and saw it and was like !!!!! But heres the calendar I busted my ass getting done for my final, I'm still pretty happy with it and would like to print it (probably would be smart to readjust for 2025 though lol). It's a lot, so I'll hide everything under the cover and back (the back has a preview ofc)!!!
The images are placed in order of 1st to last month, I felt pretty smart putting medic in october errmm I know the lore,, german,,, oktoberfest... yes... Erm Scout was meant to be BLU but I accidentally in my sleep deprived state illustrated the Cherry Fission red bonk instead of the blutoniom berry and didn't have enough time to go back RIP so I had to make him red hahaha. Sniper was the first one i did (of course...) and erm you can kind of tell because his sticks out a bit because I wasn't really sure of my style at the time for this. I wanna redo his so perchance I will do that... Lore drop my birthday is June 3rd, I was trying really hard to have Sniper month on June but I had to put the RED logo instead many such cases
I'm doing boring anatomy studies and mayhaps I will post those..
