I made a few new wax seal stamps out of clay (like the ones I did for my worldbuilding stuff forever ago), this time just of random symbols that I thought might look good done in the style of painting over the raised part of the wax or etc. :0c Some of them aren't carved deep enough to really show up that well, but overall they worked okay for being clay lol

it would make dean fucking furious, but i actually love the idea that jack sometimes calls sam "sammy" and that sam lets him. he's the only one besides dean that doesn't get "it's sam"

jack is always watching dean, and while part of that is search for dean's approval, the rest is because it teaches him how to interpret and be loved by sam

he calls him sammy when he's scared, or worried, or even relieved (seeing sam after lucifer brought him back would definitely elicit a sammy)

dean says it and it's sammy (protected)

jack says it and it's sammy (protector)

i also think he's seen dean and sam hug each other, sees how sam scrunches himself up so dean can still get his arms over his shoulders and folds beneath his brother. and when sam hugs jack, he hugs him sort of like dean hugs him, like how jack thinks dean used to hug sam twenty years ago

being enveloped, sam hunching over to keep him tucked into him, and for a moment jack feels like nothing can get to him

It really does speak volumes that someone can say in the mildest most inoffensive way "transfems shouldn't side with antimasculinity, because it hurts other transfems" and people will respond by threatening her and telling her to kill herself. Like even in a post that doesn't mention men in the main block of text, centers transfems, and leaves transmascs out of the actual conversation, people get so mad if they think you even might be alluding to defending transmascs, or might in the future

nothing (besides everyone ignoring Orym's deal) has made me angrier than watching Dorian keep up this facade. Dorian Storm has always been a type of mask he's worn. At first he called himself a liar because of it. The happy go lucky bard was a way of escaping for him. He was escaping Brontë so he created Dorian. He didn't believe he was Dorian. Until the Crown Keepers made Dorian real. And for a while, he really believed he was Dorian. That he has this new family and new life and he could be who he truly wanted to be.

And then his brother came back and made his problems Dorian's problems. Until he had to put Brontë back on. Because even if the Crown Keepers + Cyrus called him Dorian, he was Brontë. He had to be who his brother thought he was.

When Cyrus dies, the thread to Brontë had snapped. He was going to see Orym, back to the Bells Hells, back to Dorian Storm. But the foundation of Dorian had shattered. Dorian was created in order to run from his place in life, family, Cyrus. Now he was gone. The Crown Keepers had fallen apart. His friends fell through his fingers and he couldn't do anything to stop it. He was once ready to side with a betrayer god for these people and now they're in the wind.

So Dorian shows back up to Bells Hella and he's completely broken. The foundation of both of his lives has been thoroughly rocked. No brother. No Crown Keepers. The two things that forged Dorian Storm. He wears that mask so fucking well. Because he still wants to believe in it. He said it live on stage that he should "believe his own backstory". The one he made up. The one where he was a bard.

He wants to be Dorian so bad. He spends all his money on Orym, he spins the bottle so he can kiss his friends, he flirts, he blushes and giggles at compliments. Exactly how Dorian would, should.

But he wears the gold of the heir. He has a festering animosity inside his chest. He doesn't sleep. He's thinner than he was. He doesn't sleep. He sicks abominations after their creators. He talks to God's without an ounce of self preservation, daring them to strike him down. He does not acknowledge them as they taunt him.

The god of beauty and magic calls him beautiful and he does not smile.

Max finds out about Josh's announcement from the gossip channel in the server he has with the redline boys.

He doesn't often go there, he doesn't really care, but he's on holiday and he's already bored, so he spends more time than usual fucking around on his phone and he ends up there.

The announcement is simple, cute, and normally Max would just move on, he doesn't care about Josh or his life, but...

But this makes his fingers tingle with the need to text Daniel. To ask how he is, how it happened, when the last thing Max knew was that Daniel was the one in Josh's bed.

He doesn't, both because it's none of his business and because he doesn't want to open their text thread just to see the last three messages he sent gone unanswered, Daniel leaving him on read, not even congratulating him on his championship.

And even worse, the ones above that, the picture Max had sent, baring himself in every sense of the word, offering his body and heart to Daniel, just for Daniel to say no. No, it's not right. No, it's too much. No, I don't want this.

Two days later, Max had seen the pictures, sent by Gianni with a question mark, of two men kissing at a party, not blurry enough to not be recognisable, Josh's big hand cradling Daniel's jaw.

And now Josh is engaged. The hurt curdles into anger in his stomach, making him feel vaguely sick.

He had always known Josh was stupid, but now he has the proof, because who, given the chance, would choose anyone over Daniel?

Or maybe he's still fucking Daniel, behind his pretty girlfriend's back.

Or maybe with her.

Max stands up, leaving the phone on the couch, and heads straight for the sim. He had promised not to get on it for a while, to call Victoria later, to just relax for a while, but he needs to shut his brain off right now, before it veers into too dangerous thoughts and he ends up doing something embarrassing, like crying.

When he emerges, nürburgring probably forever imprinted on his retinas, the house is dark and the cats are asking for his attention, hungry and disgruntled. He stumbles to the kitchen, feeling slightly dizzy and dehydrated, blurry around the edges, but no longer on edge as before.

He feeds the cats, grabs a bottle of water from the fridge, and then goes to look for his phone again, ready to face Victoria's wrath for missing their call.

He finds a bunch of notifications waiting for him, including two missed calls from Victoria, followed by several threats to his life if she finds out he was on the sim, but his eyes stop on two different messages which make the water feel like acid in his throat.
