Au where Ingo and Emmet are actually triplets :3c the third brother's name is Stacy, and the reason we (the audience) don't know about him is because his special interest is cars, not trains, so he's a car mechanic instead of a Subway Boss! When all three of them were very young, he befriended a young Zorua, who's name is Zeke and becomes something of a fourth sibling :] and then ofc when Ingo gets eebied to Hisui, he befriends a second Zoroark, who's name is Rae (yes theyre both named after zekrom and reshiram). Five of them!!

Underneath that drawing is a small, four paneled comic. Zeke stands up straight, pushing at its back out to stretch it out, saying "how do you DO that >:/" while Rae laughs at it. Then Zeke asks, "how tall would you be if you did stand up straight?" Rae then stands up, suddenly much taller than Zeke. In the final panel, Rae laughs very mischievously while offscreen, Zeke says, "oh dragons you're tall now"

To the side of that is a drawing of Zeke and Rae, now both with human illusions to look like the triplets. Zeke is nudging Rae, overly excited as if to say ey :)? ey :)? Rae, on the other hand, is not having it, pulling its collar up to hide its face and trying to turn away from Zeke. Beneath this drawing is written, "both forced to help out w/ the subway"

Beneath this is a three panel comic featuring Zeke in a human illusion and one of Stacy's employees. In the first panel, Zeke is squatted down on the ground facing away the employee, who stands behind it. In the second panel, the employee yells, "STOP EATING THE SCREWDRIVERS ZEKE". In the final panel, Zeke has now turned around, revealing four screwdrivers all stuffed into its mouth as it growls "GRWGGRWRR"

The final drawing features all five of them. Ingo, returned from Hisui, is in the middle, visibly happy and at ease, with Emmet and Stacy on either side of him, helping to support him as he seems to fall asleep standing. Standing on the outside are Zeke and Rae, Zeke holding onto Stacy's arm and resting its chin on his shoulder as it looks at Ingo happily. Do you have any thoughts on scorbus kids king (beyond Albus insisting that they’re all named after stars and constellations and the likes) because in the same way that they’d get married at like 18-19 a la ‘traditional’ wizards i think they’d be the couple to turn up to christmas one year with a baby without telling anyone (nobody knows how they got the baby and theyre not saying shit) and boom. oooooh! hmm! i actually go back and forth on scorbus children a lot. like i dont have set ocs or anything for them. i can see them with or without kids. i can see them with many or just one. i can see them as boy dads and girl dads. i can see them as all adopted or as donor-conceived. likeeeee i can see everything tbh. but i can tell you what i’m usually set towards:

i reckon one of their babies (i’m thinking the second one if they ever get so far) is sooooo weasley-coded. they don’t act like scorpius or albus but as their fucking grandma ginny. like they may not have the token red hair at all but they certainly act like one. and they’re a stereotypical gryffindor. (first gryffindor malfoy perchance)

i’m also thinking they need to have a diva daughter. like a mini narcissa/lucius just minus the moral abhorrence (they may or may not have a consumerism problem though)

one of the babies has to have the blond malfoy hair. preferably the eldest. idc if that makes me a stickler for tradition.

also i think they would pull the “my grandad is harry potter” “did you know i’m the chosen one’s grandkid?” “oh yeah just going to my pop’s place tonight… did i mention he’s harry potter?” ALL THE TIME 💀 like they would nottttt understand albus’ angst about it (at first) because they won’t experience the same type of pressure as being harry potter’s child.

i think it would be sooo funny if they had kids who are really popular in school and are super charming and good-looking and athletic and just very cool and easily liked. and meanwhile they’re dads are the biggest fucking socially inept losers.

scorpius is the dad that spoils his kids rotten. like he’s NEVER mad. he’s always telling them how proud he is of them and how lovely and cool they are and he’s just constantly inflating their heads to the sizes of large balloons. he’s the dad they go to when they want to ask for something because he’ll normally give it to them. he’d rather they be brats then be unconfident and hate themselves.

also scorpius would get crazy separation anxiety. like it doesnt matter if his kid is 25 that’s his baby and they need to be in arms reach at all times

albus can be the type to freak out at his kids ngl 😭 tbf i dont think he’d do it without reason but he will definitely make them cryyyy and run to their rooms. yk when one of ur parents yells at you when ur a kid and u cry angry tears and can’t verbalise your feelings because you’re tiny and dont know the right words yet. and then you look to your other parent for help and they’re just standing at the side like “🧍‍♂️” yeah the one just standing there is scorpius 💀 no way he’s risking getting clocked too.

scorpius might not voice it in the moment but he’s very good at damage control and managing his family who probably runs quite high on emotions. also he’ll sneak his kids sweets to cheer them up even if they deserved to get yelled at lol

albus is the dad that cleans and washes and styles his daughters’ hair 😭 and he will do it aggressively too like he ties the cleanest but tightest braids and plaits and ponytails you best believe. also he doesn’t play around when his kids come home from primary school with a head lice notification slip. best believe he’s going to scrape through everything.

the kids definitely think scorbus are way too lovey-dovey with each other. cringiest parents ever.

albus is definitely the “how dare you talk to your father like that” kind of guy about scorpius.

scorpius would tell his kids when they fell down and scraped themselves that his kiss could make it better. and when he kissed their bruise or cut he’d do a tiny healing spell and fix it so for yearssss these scorbus kids thought their dad was had super magical kisses (yk damn well albus took advantage of that excuse 😭)

if they adopted a kid of another race to them, scorpius is going leaps and bounds to understand his baby’s culture and raise him accordingly so they don’t feel too disconnected (albus will do so too but scorpius would be such an expert at it because he’s a research freak).

i think scorbus would generally follow traditional wizard norms but their kids wouldn’t. the kids are living in the house until they are 35 or something. reason is because their standard of living at home is amazing. albus cooks the best food. they get spoilt rotten by scorpius. they have the combined fortune of two of the richest wizard families… yeah life is good

soooo… hmm…

this all started when i was 15 years old. I was reading the naruto manga and was catching up on chapters that i had missed. I was reading about Itachi’s lore and how he and shisui were close , and looking into Shisui’s story and how his ideals and motivations had left an imprint in the universe of Naruto and shifted the ties of the war, I was so astounded by how much of an impact he had while not even being alive.

Looks aside because he’s just sooooo beautiful and soooo cute .. 🥰 he truly is a great character overall; he’s kind, thoughtful, outgoing , and is wholehearted. We see this with his interactions with Itachi and Sasuke , inclusion with other characters. He genuinely is such an amazing character and his personality is honestly what drew me to him as well, he’s so loyal to Itachi and his own goals that made me think, “Well, he would be like that with me!!”

I also met his voice actor back in august ( got his autograph, he was literally sooo nice i almost crumbled when he remembered me because i came back to see him again! 💕 i had butterflies!!) that just hyped up my love for him even more to the highest degree—to the moon and stars—ever since then i’ve been floating on cloud nine with my love for Shisui. I always loved him, always will. nothing will ever weaver my heart! 💕🍓😌

I also made an OC for Shisui ONLY—no other character just him—and her name is Rei and her existence is only for Shisui. I used to be heavily involved with RPG and I would be Rei , i remember i met this Shisui roleplayer and ever since then i’ve only shipped her with him. ( i left the community because it’s just filled with weirdos lol and it’s overwhelming at times the amount of DMs) but while being there in RP I realized no one roleplayed Shisui ever , because he wasn’t had known sadly — so i was never up to shipping my character with anyone ever due to the fact that they were not Shisui lmaoo crazy i know but i was and still am obsessed.

i truly love how his dojutsu is just the most powerful in the verse! He’s so strong and i wish he can protect me! I play him in the Storm games, his first appearance was Storm Revolution and the other games was Storm 4, so ever since then I play him religiously and switch to Tsunade or Sakura occasionally , but i mainly play Shisui , i love his move set, the combos I love his voice , and i truly love how he and flicker around the arena it just looks so cool i truly love it so much! I play him like i love him! 🍓🍓😍😍 i don’t see many people play him sadly soooo… im trying to be a sweat try hard with Shisui lmfao

it honestly makes me mad everytime i think about the obvious lack of effort for world building but specifically for the nobility plotline... sooooo underutilized it's upsetting. like i've read isekai manhwas with better use/grasp of the nobility and political climate... also (can't remember if it's from swd or nb) the fact that lucifer and the brothers' are basically living off an allowance/salary set for them by diavolo is just... ugh. they couldn't have given them actual positions with titles ??? they couldn't have brought their title as princes/lords of the underworld into play ??? like i get they did it for the game, for shits and giggles and idk maybe it's just me lawl

sorry for ranting lmao i've sent asks a couple times and i quite like your insights and takes on things. was wondering if you'd have anything to say 🫡

I love talking about this stuff! I know it's a dating game and the lore/world building is basically an afterthought because the game's focus is on MC's relationships with the characters now, and not necessarily on the world/characters before MC existed or became involved.

I've mentioned before that the world feels really empty to me at times because they don't really talk about characters that exist (in a meaningful way) unless they're the established dateables (or soon-to-be dateables) for MC. Many of them are nameless demons/angels (the demon lords, the owner of The Fall that's been mentioned more than once by his title but not name), generic sorcerers and angels we know exist in the other realms. (For some reason, Uriel has been name-dropped twice with very little info besides that.)

Part of my motivation for developing the angel/demon OCs is to give more context and depth to the world that MC interacts with, even if they don't necessarily interact with MC in their own day to day lives. There are countless Devildom businesses that keep the realm running – who owns them? Who are the demons that develop their technology and vehicles? Who are the demons that acquire the raw materials used to build these items, or design/build the Devildom's architecture and homes? Who are the professsors at RAD and the other students? They're probably not all demons born from nobility, so where did they come from? What do the parts of hell outside the Devildom metropolis look like? Do they live on other levels? Rings? How easy can you travel between them, or why would you want to (or not want to)? Who are the demons that make up the demon armies and where do they live? Also, how in the world did Solomon end up in pacts with so many powerful demon lords, and now that he's not a power-hungry king, how do those pacts serve him (and the demons he's bound to)?

So yeah, maybe I think about the game world a lot because there's so much potential that goes ignored. I understand that the game isn't meant to be an in-depth look at the Devildom or Celestial Realm outside of what's relevant for character development or plot purposes, but it would be nice to have answers for some of the obvious questions that come up over time. Some of the information we're given in Nightbringer feels incomplete or doesn't match the tone/characterization we were presented with in the OG game either which makes me worry about continuity issues and retconning going forward.

(This got long so the rest is going behind a read-more link. lol)

When I started developing/outlining The Fall, it was meant to be a personal interpretation of the game's lore and my own creative spin on filling in all the gaps. At the heart of it, it's a love story between two angels-turned-demons. But the worlds they live in change over time, and there's a lot of nuance and deeper insights to explain how and why those things happen.

Some of the topics I wanted to explore in this project include:

Rank/power structures in the Celestial Realm. Basically, how do the various ranks of angels interact with each other, and how do they view angels with ranks higher or lower than their own?

Xenophobia. How angels and demons interact and perceive the other races/species. Metatron is an angel that was originally born as a human and ascended to the Celestial Realm after being chosen by Father to do so. Knowing that, how does his former human life impact what other angels think of him, if it does at all? (Spoiler: It does.) There's also significant issues that come up with the arrival of fallen angels, although Meta and Azra falling has very different reactions compared to Lucifer and the others later.

The role of the Seraphim. This story begins before the Celestial War with Lucifer, so he and Michael are still the two primary beacons of power in the Celestial Realm. How often do they agree or disagree on handling disputes, and how do they resolve their differences of opinion? I also wanted to explain the role of other Seraphim – basically, it's not just Michael or Lucifer calling the shots, and the other Seraphim are expected to lend their voices to discussions/debates about serious matters and it's treated almost like a council where majority vote wins if they can't all agree on something.

Side note: I really don't like the idea that Michael (or any of the other Seraphs) are free to do whatever they want without any sort of accountability or repercussions. I think the things Michael might want to do (ex. sneaking into the Devildom in disguise) and what he should do (literally anything but that) are two completely different things, and being emotional/grief-stricken isn't a good excuse for a leader that wants to YOLO his way through his problems when he has an entire realm of citizens he is responsible for. Gabriel is my solution to some of Michael's emotional impulses and rash decision making. He's the angel OC that acts as Michael's voice of reason when he struggles to separate logic and reason from emotions. He keeps Michael in-check when he wants to do things that are too erratic or personal, but he whole-heartedly supports Michael's plans or ideas that benefit the Celestial Realm. I like to imagine Gabriel and Barbatos are similar in that way and have the potential to be good friends as they bond and commiserate over their loyalties to leaders that sometimes act like spoiled children.

Fallen angels in general. There are a lot of fallen angels besides Lucifer and his brothers. Meta and Azra are two angels that go through the process of falling together and I had a lot of ideas about how I think that looks on a physical and spiritual level. There are differences for angels that are cast out by the Seraphim for breaking the rules/putting the Celestial Realm at risk vs. angels that choose to fall vs. angels that are punished by Father for defying him regardless of what the Seraphim choose. Azra and Meta's motivations and reasons for how/why they fall are slightly different, and how that plays out (and the impact on the angels left behind) are different too. They don't have a pre-existing relationship with Diavolo to pave the way for their new lives in the Devildom either, so how do they cope? Who helps them start their new lives, and how do they navigate being strangers in a foreign land while undergoing the physical and emotional changes of becoming demons? Diavolo's father is still the Demon King when they fall and it's only Belial's involvement that keeps things from completely going off the rails after their arrival. The fact that Belial himself is a former angel has its own significance. There isn't a manual or one-size-fits-all approach to this either, and Azra and Meta demonstrate how the Devildom's negligence of their newest citizens can lead to disastrous results sooner or later.

Navigating tension and conflict between the Celestial Realm and Devildom. There is violence that breaks out between the two realms, so how does the Celestial Realm respond to that sort of crisis? Once in the Devildom, there's a glimpse of how the Demon King (Diavolo's father) handles these developments and why the conflict happened at all. (Spoiler alert: Belial is an antagonist in this part of the story for a reason.)

What is Solomon up to? He has all these pacts with powerful demons and he's no stranger to the Devildom, so of course he's going to be interested to meet some new fallen angels – especially one with as much power and common interests as Metatron. Solomon is very human in this story too. He has his own selfish motivations for getting involved, but he also shows genuine care and concern for those he considers friends. He gets involved maybe more than he should, but for good reasons. He's a useful bridge to help the demons understand some of the obvious implications of having ex-angels living in their world. He also manipulates things a bit behind the scenes because of his connection to Barbatos (and therefore Diavolo) but there's no immature feud souring their relationship in this story. (Gonna be honest, I do not think Barbatos's problem with Solomon had anything to do with his place on Solomon's list of demons.)

Lesser demons and the nobility. I wanted to explore the lives of lesser demons versus the lives of noble demons. Where they live, what they do for a living, how they view demons of higher/lower ranks than themselves and other races. Zee's an example of a lesser demon who does whatever he needs to do to earn a living for himself, and Azra doesn't have much clout behind him so they almost meet each other as equals. It's an interesting look at their friendship and the way connections to more powerful demons (like Belial) help them both make better lives for themselves in the central Devildom where they eventually grow their business and social reputations. Meta, despite being a fallen Seraph, has practically no motivation or reputation to speak of and this has its own consequences later. But Zee's not the only lesser demons in this story, and if you thought the nobility in Nightbringer had problems with fallen angels, the lesser demons are far more hostile towards them – they're the ones on the front lines whenever war with the Celestial Realm breaks out, so its understandable they might not be very welcoming. For the demon nobility, the ones that aren't actively criticising fallen angels are mostly indifferent to them, but that's not such a great thing either.

There are other areas I wonder about that I don't explore in The Fall, but I hope to do so for the various OCs and their stories. The Devildom's power hierarchy/use of titles is one of them. The demons of the Ars Goetia all of their own armies at their disposal, and some are dukes while others are kings. That doesn't seem to have any meaning or impact in the game world, but surely there are ways that can affect how the demon nobility interacts with each other? It certainly made a difference to Solomon, I doubt he would've wanted so many pacts if the demons didn't have anything to offer him at the time. The how and why of Solomon's pacts is it's own area of exploration, which I hope to do with Belial and Bathin.

God, man, the big cameo panel on page 2 took me so long to finish. But I liked getting to draw all the animal species.

Deepdark is very performative, and with such a violent group, he has to make sure they all feel welcome, and more importantly loyal to him. His lieutenants help enforce that.

All the theorizing about Longest-Claws was so so fun for me. And they caught on so fast! Very nice. Actually, we will in fact learn why Deepdark chose to talk about Longest-Claws and the origins of Defiance in an upcoming issue!

so Levi's not as straight as he thought, not in love with Angie like that like he thought, much more in love with Nikita than he always thought, and definitely, definitely super hard in love with his assistant coach (you see the Adam/Blue/Gansey/Ronan pattern?) (except there is nothing whatsoever between Nikita and Anderson. in fact Nikita probably hates him a little bit actually. fr fr.)

also before anyone sends me anon hate about my own OCs, the Levi-Anderson age gap is 22-30, so calm downnnn

so yeah Levi & Anderson, once they're all in and go all out, are disgustingly happy; but the hurdles are many and exhausting (i have another ask incoming for Coach Rhemann, which will coincidentally explain really well said obstacles)

i would say, apart from Jean Moreau himself obv and Adèle Moreau, Levi is the most tragic Trojan :(

especially because he used to be such a goofy ass mf, and so hyped about Exy on and off the court, before the accident, and nowadays he's much more a shell of himself, doesn't care much about Exy outside the court, always plays his very best but his heart's not into it, feels disconnected from his team and teammates, etc.

on the meds thing: that was such a battle. for everyone involved. Levi, the doctors, his gf, his parents, Nikita... it was just barely starting to go well when the accident happened, and well. the step from ADHD to depression is already so small, Levi had no chance. but he's climbing up the hill again now :)

so Levi's kind of the dark version of Jeremy, or like a past younger iteration of Jeremy before he got to be the Captain Sunshine we know and love (and that's partly why Jeremy has trouble connecting w him, befriend him, even look at him sometimes); he doesn't talk much anymore, except to fight and curse, but then he turns around and drops by with a pan of brownies for the new girl because he saw her eating one all alone and sad in the athletes' hall, you know? he's very hard to pin down, even more so now that the constants in his life have been taken away or flipped :/ but he's a precious dude, trust me!

I'm laughing at the screen shot of brainpilled talking about a "witch hunt" and "someone obsessing over them" because we all know they're talking about luluyam. "you will look like an idiot screaming at the sky". When in fact, that's all brain ever does is scream up into the clouds about how much they hate her. They'll tell anyone they know that she's this "big bad abuser" when a lot of us know that's not the case.

I follow luluyam and know about the whole situation this vague post is referring to. In fact, I found out about luluyam because of brianpilleds weird obsession with her. brianpilled and I were mutuals for a short time but I eventually ended up blocking them on my socials and on discord because of how much they wouldn't shut the hell up about her. The truth is that brainpilled is obsessed with her and can't keep her out of their mouth where as luluyam just works on her projects and avoids them at all costs. And brainpilleds story changes every single time they talk about what luluyam supposedly did to them. They can't keep it consistent. They never provide proper evidence either.

She never caused a witch hunt against brainpilled. I think brainpilled said luluyam was responsible for their updated callouts, but she wasn't??? She didn't even make or post them. That was someone else who used to be friends with brain.

brain accused lulu of trying to have an affair with them and cheating on their partner at the time, after she attempted to cut them off as a friend too, which was weird. luluyam admitted herself, publicly, that their friendship was toxic on both ends and she didn't want to associate anymore due to some of brainpilleds older callouts being brought to her attention. She has said several times there was never some affair between them and all they ever did was ship ocs.

This piece of work even joined a luluyam fan server full of minors and started telling these kids that she was a serial cheater, a slut, an abuser and then watched and laughed as a few of these kids went on to publicly try and harass luluyam on her twitter acct. It was so weird that someone in their early 20s was telling kids things like that and using them as weapons to attack someone else. Even if any of those things about luluyam was true, why would you go into a server full of kids to do that as an adult?

It wasn't even just the fan server they did this in, by the way. brainpilled did this in other private discord servers too, trying to turn uninvolved people against luluyam. I remember being in another server with them where they brought her up in a chat full of strangers and said lulu was actively stalking and harassing them all because brain is "trans" and lulu was a transphobe. Which is it brainpilled? Were you being witch hunted because you're trans, or because luluyam supposedly had an affair with you and things didn't work out and she's just sooooo obsessed with you like you keep claiming? Make it make sense, man.

Anyway, sorry to bring unrelated nonsense into all of this but I thought it'd add to the many layers of brianpilleds behavior. I wasn't even a huge part of that whole ordeal. I'm just an ex mutual who watched from the sidelines and saw through brains bs real fast. Anyone with an actual brain can see how people like salem and brain both operate.

indefinite hiatus

hey everyone....I just wanted to state it loud and clear now that I'm currently taking a long break from Tumblr for a couple of reasons. some of these reasons may even seem familiar as you've probably seen other fanfic authors stating the same issue again and again.

lack of interactions

remember when I had my 'battle of the restaurant' event? when it came to requesting, everyone was sooooo eager to ask for stories to be written. but when I published them? barely any interactions. no likes, no reposts, barely a comment of 'thank you'. it was as if I was a robot, publishing pieces over and over again for nothing. all the hard work I poured into my event: gone.

this wasn't the first time though. every time I publish something, the like-to-reblog ratio is pathetic. no one wants to comment anything sweet or even just a silly ramble. where is the interactions? where is the liveliness that Tumblr is famous for?

2. burn out from irl

sometimes, I feel like I switch fandoms too quick and too fast for me to publish some works from previous fandoms. I started out as a twst author but now I'm into one piece and haikyuu and so many other fandoms that I feel like I have to write for them-

and then when I try to enjoy some anime, I realize that I'm barely feeding any readers with any content and then I'm feeling so much writers' block from the pressure I put onto myself. I understand that this is no one's fault, perhaps from my own perfectionist issues but it's still a problem I face day after day.

3. a new stage of life

nowadays, I'm in a position where I have more and more work poured onto me, leaving me barely anytime to write any content for my readers. it's honestly hurting me too, whenever I do my own IRL work and then start worrying about what everyone thinks about my lack of interaction in comparison to everyone else. I'm feeling more and more drained from this constant cycle of worry and manic stress

so, other than the lack of interaction, it's not really anyone's fault. please don't start getting depressed thinking you've utterly destroyed me into a million pieces (I promise I'm fine, I'm just working on myself right now). but please reflect on my works and how you interact with other fanfic authors on this website. Tumblr is a beautiful place with some of the most beautiful work I've ever seen and some of the most thoughtful pieces of writing and art I've been blessed with. don't let something like lack of engagement ruin what Tumblr is. please

miss ellie i'm realizing now that i never told you now revolutionary your ocs are. like. i've been on this website for literal years and the day i found your blog was with an oc post where you introduced such a dynamic lineup with so much variety, it was the first i had ever seen. maybe i wasn't looking hard enough but you had poc yanderes AND trans yanderes it was the first time i had ever seen any (i know it sounds crazy to say but i'm being so fr rn.) even when i look through your old posts and reread them i just get blown away by how each one is different and has their own personality even though you have so many?? anyway it's late and i just wanted to say that ty <3

tbh, the representation i try to portray accurately is a really long-standing relationship i have with writing & authorship in general. this might not be a terribly interesting bit of lore but back when i was in my teens and consuming a lot of fanfic online in the early forms of it (ff.net my love </3) that was something that hit me a lot in reading self-insert fic, because I'd always been a huge reader and was just then tapping into self-inserts and community fiction posting rather than just books. and i remember distinctly (i think partly bc I've always grown up in multicultural neighborhoods/had mixed family growing up) reading fanfics and having the thought of "huh, i can relate to this description or this experience, but that makes me wonder whether other people can."

funny enough, it was partly when i would read descriptions of the author giving a self-insert long hair or referencing their hair in some way, and I'd start wondering how girls who wore a hijab would read that same piece, cause i went to school with a bunch of girls who wore it or a full niqab. and so i started wondering more like "if i was black, would i relate to this experience in this fic? if i was trans or gender non-conforming, are there characters i can relate to? if i were a mix of these things, could i find somewhere i belong in this setting?" and since then it kind of became a focus in the way i wrote stuff going forward.

i think using inclusive language in fic writing is really integral to a greater horizon of people enjoying it, and thinking on my ocs i always wanted to have characters that people could really relate to. I'd stop a lot in my process of creating my initial sets of characters and try to keep in mind those thoughts that i had in reading fics; "if i were this or that, could someone in that position relate to the stories I'm writing? and if not, what can i change to make that happen?" because if people are going to enjoy my characters or find comfort in them i want everyone possible to have the ability to. it's kind of intimidating at times to write for experiences i haven't had personally but it led me (and still leads me) to do a ton of research, and in doing so I've been able to learn lots of really fascinating things in the process. in doing so, it made it really easy for my characters to develop their personalities through my writing because i think they inherently have identities that are complex, which is always the goal you want for any character in the first place.

sorry that this kinda went off on a ramble LOL, but after so many years of writing and with my degree under my belt i still really think about it a lot. I'm really glad what i wanted to do has come across and i hope you continue to enjoy my ocs!! ❤️❤️

1- [Fairy Tail] Lyna Dreyar (technically now Dreyar-McGarden) . I genuinely don't remember much from when I created her years ago — I think I do have notes somewhere. She was always Laxus' little sister though. She was also a Dragon Slayer but now she isn't anymore jdjdjdb. I think I reworked her personality a bit too? She was more of an extrovert in my first drafts I think, but she's not as much anymore 🤔

2- [One Piece] Monkey D. Ceeli (previously Shelly). Once again, I created her a long time ago! And she changed a bit, too. (I mean, we also learned some more about this world since I created her lmao). She's Luffy's little sister (by three years). In my first drafts (I do have a fanfic with a few chapters posted with her as a character, over on my ff.net... not on ao3 bc i don't think I will ever complete it) she was supposed to have been raised with the ASL brothers, with a pretty serious personality and very interested by the Revolutionary in general. Also I don't remember what it was exactly but she had powers™. Now, she has a super powered haki (bc i can), she was raised by their mother (for... reasons), and Luffy doesn't know her (or that she exists). She's also way less serious and a bit more into the overexcited side.

3- [HP] Daisy Potter (it... wasn't her first name when I first thought about her but I can't remember what it was now). Again, a very old OC! She wasn't that developed all that time ago, but she's way more present in my mind now haha. You will never guess, but she's Harry's little sister, bc i once found the HC that Lily was pregnant when she died and I ran away with it. Interestingly enough, I think that the explanation I have for her birth now and then is the same? And same for her fate in canon,,, (I mean, a canon where she's born). Rip (i love u baby). I put her in a lot of different aus now, where she grows up differently each time and things impact her differently, but I think at her core she's a very brave and smart girl who wants to do good. She's her parents' daughter all the way!

4- [Star Wars] Letti Kryze. One of my most recent ones! So maybe five years old or so idk what time is. She's Korkie Kryze's daughter, a Jedi, eight years younger than Luke & Leia, and has the habit of causing accidental chaos everywhere she goes. I love her she's a baby. I remember after watching the first season of the Mandalorian thinking it would be funny if her and Din kept throwing the Darksaber back at each other bc neither of them want to be the big boss™. She's a tired teenage girl in the middle of an intergalactic war who just wants her father back and it shows.

5- [DC] Emma Pennyworth. Alfred's granddaughter via his daughter Julia. She is, in general, done with the Batfam's collective bullshit, and wants to hold the braincell. She's also like, twelve, so there's that. I've written her a few times actually!! She tries so hard to be serious and mature and she forgets a bit to be a kid, but also her favorite sport is annoying Damian lmao.

Yes there's a common theme in all of those lmao. Interestingly enough, even when the OC is like... Cringey and a bit Mary-Sue and all, the goal was always to have them as part of the family and... for day 1 of scrunkly week, the theme is clear skies and i went with the spare time and hobbies prompt!

sooooo this does include my self-insert oc paper cut... you obviously dont have to read the doc but it would definitely provide more context for his character and his dynamic with joe. yes ofc it's joe reverse 1999 who else would it be. ANYWAYS DONT TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY IM JUST BEING CRINGE ON MAIN FOR ONCE

“Cut, there is a reason why I say you’re amazing to be doing this as a hobby because I have no idea what I’m doing.”

J sighs, cursing his lack of skill and creativity. He thought it’d be fun to try and indulge in his best friend’s favorite pastime - and though “fun” is not an inaccurate word to describe what he’s having at the moment, he finds himself relating to more defeating adjectives.

“C’mon, it can’t be that bad. Gimme that.”

Hesitantly, J outstretches his hand that held an unassuming piece of paper. Paper Cut needs not skim through it… because there’s only one word written on it.

“The.”

“The.”

Okay, maybe it is that bad.

Even then, Paper Cut can’t help but giggle. He can see that J is trying very hard to match his beat and is miserably failing. But it’s the thought that counts, right? J smiles bashfully at the other’s reaction. Then, in a fit of pure genius, he decides he should imitate the master.

“Lemme see what you wrote.”

Paper Cut shrugs and hands over his prose to the apprentice.

“‘They say love is blind but, oh, who so cruelly poked the eyes of love? They say love hurts but, oh, isn’t love hurting more than it hurts? They-’ dude, Shakespeare is rolling in his grave right now.”

Paper Cut looks away, scratching the back of his neck shyly. He’s not unaccustomed to J’s compliments but the familiarity doesn’t breed immunity in this case.

“Flattery will get you nowhere.”

J guffaws freely at the sarcastic tone of Paper Cut’s voice that doesn’t match the embarrassed expression he wears. It is one of the many cute details about Cut that J adores - a stubbornness that rivals his own at times. In his peripheral vision, a very light red brushes across Paper Cut’s chubby cheeks.

“Maybe not, but that’s what my bike is for.”

J exclaims as he leans back, shifting his weight to his forearms, fortresses on the carpet beneath them. Paper Cut moves as well, from lying down on his back to leaning on the whole right side of his body, his arm propping up his head by the chin. Their respective masterpieces lay in the fluff of the carpet.

“Hah, sure.”

A lazy smile creeps onto Paper Cut’s face as he gazes lovingly at the other. J reciprocates and lets his eyes wander around the establishment. Paper and stationery strew about, the owner’s passion for artistry reflected crystal clear. It’s Paper Cut’s messy little residence - it’s not proper enough to be called a house.

Paper Cut interrupts J’s (though short) train of thought. It is then that the latter’s clear blue eyes turn to his companion. His small smile says it all.

But it’s definitely a home.

“Y’know, if this isn’t for you, we can just go on a ride. The two of us, as usual.”

Hi, I was just wondering if you have any Findis and/or Lalwen headcanons if you'd like to share :)?

Ooh good question. Honestly I kind of feel bad because I don’t really think about these two all that much? Like I have a few thoughts but not many. I'd have more thoughts if Jirt had done more with their characters! But, anyway...

Findis interests me as an eldest royal daughter in a patriarchal society that practices male primogeniture. I'm sure it was clear to her pretty much all her life that her father favoured Feanor, but she may have been able to justify that as being down to his mother's death. But after Fingolfin was born -- how long did it take for her to realise that they would never be truly equals? This unfairness is why I headcanon her as favouring the vanyarin side of her heritage -- she turns to piety and religion as an escape. Perhaps the vanyar have some sort of priestess system that allows her to gain some power there. For some reason, I imagine Findis' religious duties as similar to a Vestal Virgin (though minus the burials....) maybe she's especially devoted to Este?

Despite everything, she never stopped loving her parents and wanting their approval and to do right by them, which is why she stays with her mother during the flight of the Noldor. I think there's a part of her that never forgives her siblings for (in her eyes) "abandoning" Indis.

Lalwen... unfortunately I have more thoughts about my lady's maid oc for her than I do for Lalwen herself :( sorry girlie

I do think it’s interesting that Fingolfin and Lalwen are canonically close, I like that. I imagine she was a comfort to him during the unrest of the Noldor (I imagine they become close as adults when Feanor was exiled) and crossing the Ice. Was she aware of how much Nolo needed her and did that ever become a burden on her? Quite possibly, and I'm not sure who she would have gone to in order to relieve that. I do think that she and Aredhel could have been close, and probably Elenwe too - maybe she was one of the people to be most affected by Elenwe's death. I think Lalwen was also a fighter, and died fighting in the fall of Hithlum in the Nirnaeth.

Since I mentioned canon patriarchy, maybe part of Lalwen's motivation for leaving Aman was a hope that Beleriand would be more egalitarian.

I've noticed that lesbian Lalwen hcs are pretty common and I think I agree! I think she had a fair few lovers and some long-term girlfriends in Beleriand, but had no serious romantic relationships. Her major love was her maid Morniel, but she was aware that Morniel did not reciprocate, so she never acted on it.

You didn't ask about her, but after being a Faniel denialist for the longest time, I might now be a Faniel truther after reading this headcanon of her being born after Finwe followed Feanor into exile and due to mutual parental stubbornness, never meeting her father. That's sooooo juicy I love it.

My Eddsworld Hyperfixation Timeline

Well, I've been in this fandom for like- just a few months to be honest... Yeah I know pathetic right? But like- to be fair I've been deep into like so many other hyperfixations up until Eddsworld. And if I'm being honest. I'm very certain this one is gonna stick- Okay so. My extreme- gut wrenching milisecondly thoughts about Eddsworld are about to be explained. (even tho I barely mentioned it being my hyperfixation so far on my blog but like whatever it's kinda obvious) Probably around March in 2023, maybe a month or two after. I stumbled across AIDAX's Absolute Territory Animation Meme/pmv! It was a brief moment but I really loved how it looked and all of the characters in it! Although I didn't really know what it was from, I just assumed they were oc's. October-September of 2023 After I completely forgot about that music video my friend started writing this TomTord fanfic while I was busy with my own fanfic. (For a diff fandom I had no idea what Eddsworld was). So I read her fanfic obviously because I like seeing how and what she's writing! I also helped her proofread a bit! I think my favorite mistake was something like Tord cutting his hand on glass or smth but she wrote Tords so we both just cracked up laughing thinking abt a bunch of Tords all simultaneously being injured! Anyways, since I didn't actually know the characters she showed me pics of them and I just tried to remember who was who, but kinda failed a bit- She told me the show was on Youtube but I didn't watch it because I was in a deep Omori hyperfixation. July 2, 2024 At one (1) in the morning I was rereading my friend's fic and though I might wanna check out the show. Sooooo I booted up Youtube and found a playlist to watch the eddisodes off of! Starting with Tord's Adventure. (Yes I did go find as many as I could that were also off of the playlist) I kept watching and once I got to the Zombeh Attack videos I was pretty much hooked and ended up binging the whole show that night- And SUDDENLY I literally made sure there was something Eddsworld related everywhere around me, every single day all I could think of was Eddsworld- Since I'm still new I'm still finding things- Like the good ol' pork soda vid. I literally just watched that for the first time a few hours ago- Honestly, Eddsworld actually helped me a lot. Just a little while after I started watching, about a month after to be specific, some things happened and I was definitely not in a good mental state from it. But since I had just began a fresh hyperfixation on Eddsworld all of the eddisodes, fanfics, fanart and official art, and the comics all kept me feeling well enough to go on. I may be extremely new to the fandom but that doesn't mean Eddsworld isn't very precious to me. I love the boys and I love the show, comics, and I love learning about the history of it all. Now I won't have that connection of growing up along side the show, but Eddsworld still holds a very dear place in my heart.
