Ok I keep forgetting to submit my own Yax propoganga but I have put so much thought into them.

They have the same sense of humor, we literally see them tell almost identical jokes. They’re both such dramatic showoffs and they both are schemers, they're both the brains of their group (friends v family)

Beause Yakko isn’t as open with his emotions, he’s more sarcasti. But Max has been truthful about what he feels since Goof Troop. It's there on the surface and he communicates and understands in ways that would be SO good for Yakko. They're two sides of the same coin. They are opposites but they support each others weaknesses. Yakko wants so badly to make people laugh, and it’s so important to him to do so. His self worth is connected to it, but Max doesn’t like his laugh and suppresses it. It practically writes itself. So yeah, there’s all the fun WB/Disney forbidden lovers, but it works off a dynamic that would already work really well. That's why I like them so much

Dot and Wakko need someone to be friends with outside of themselves. They need familiarity and kindness.

Who better to open the Warner's to a kinder life, than a toon from a company all about the power of familial and romantic love? The themes that surround Max and Goofy, as well as many other Disney's, are exactly the kind of thing that those kids need the most.

Yakko being happy is a the first part, but having the Warners brought into the family by Goofy Goof, the man with so much understanding and love to give, who GETS kids, and has always let Max be a kid and help him through it, his appearance through Yakko amd Max knowing each other gives the Warners a positive adult figure in their lives who will be there to support them instead of criticize them for being "too much".

Yax isn't JUST about Yakko and Max, it's about the connections these kids make that starts with the eldest opening himself up. It's about learning the world around them isn't just filled with people who want them locked up.

The world is also filled with people who embrace their weirdness and energy, and who will guide them. Even if you just like yax as friends, you have to see the potential there is for all of them

The Warners and the Goofs, to have lives grow richer.

And more, with them being from seperate companies, their worldview would be able to grow to incorporate new ideas and thoughts. The Warners aren't very open with their emotions, so a father son duo who have always been open and communicative would be able to show them the benefits of doing so themselves.

Plus, watching the Warner Siblings wreak havoc with a smile, hurting no innocents, would be exactly the type of thing to make Max smile.

He could help do smaller damage control if need be as well, he's been accounting for his and his Dad's Goof Luck since he was born, and for the fallout of his own insane schemes. Adding in the brilliant and mischievous mind of Max Goof to the minds of our puppy children trio is golden.

They deserve each other, deserve kindness and acceptance. ALL of these kids do. And every single one of them get that through Yax.

Propaganda for Huey Duck/Wakko Warner:

Huey and Wakko are classic opposite attrack characters, while also touches of "you're drawn to people who remind you of your family" thrown in. They're both very autistic coded characters (because their shows are cowards and refuse to say the word) but in opposite ways. Wakko is very outside of the norm where as Huey holds himself to a strict set of rules. While Huey adds a bit of routine to Wakko's life, Wakko encourages Huey to cut back, go outside of his comfort zone at his own pace and also relax a little. Wakko reminds Huey of both his siblings, excitable and dramatic like Dewey, and laid back (compared to his siblings) and mischevious like Louie, where as Huey reminds Wakko of his own siblings. A bit more uptight and bratty like Dot, and intelligent and encouraging like Yakko. They also bring out different sides of each other, Wakko can be gross and messy and Huey somehow finds it charming, and Huey can help Wakko see that he's intelligent and creative in his own ways rather than being outshined by his own siblings. They both also have anger issues, and Wakko would be great at helping Huey to feel his anger rather than always keeping it hidden away. He makes Huey feel seen and heard and taken care of because Huey doesn't have to be the Older BrotherTM around Wakko. Basically just opposites attract autistic kids who help each other come into one another.

Ok. Part 3 earthspark was so incredibly disappointing. I feel so sad about it because it’s such a promising show.

I kind of ranted abt this to my friend for like an hour as soon as we finished watching but here’s some of my criticism which I may add on to. Or not

Warning for Earthspark s1 p3 spoilers and overall negativity. So sorry!

1. The writing of this part was sooo terrible. So many plotholes so much drama and so much cringe dialogue. I want to give it slack for being a children’s show but! There’s so much here that’s just senseless. I can excuse cringe dialogue but some of it is back to back to back. Like holy shit

2. Hate what they did to Karen. She was this malevolent evil that was being hinted and teased since part 1 and she amounted to literally nothing. She had no motives other than being racist, none that we know of. Maybe her parents died idfc but there are no real motives that she ever makes outright known. And she was being hinted to being this final boss type. Her death had no impact. It felt like a “oh look this is a child’s show turned dark”. Her death promised everything and it delivered nothing.

3. The last 3? Episodes where Twitch take charge feel apocalyptic and it was nice. Twitch and her older sister curse. The last one standing. The one bearing the weight of the family, having all that responsibility because wether you want it or not she is the older sister of the group. She watches everyone she loves simply disappear. She goes through so much trouble and so many plans and then thrash dies protecting her (which doesn’t make sense?? ill go onto this later). So, after she goes through all that trouble, the humans wake up and fix everything in the blink of an eye. and it undoes all this effort and character thrown into Twitch because she isnt the one who finds a way to fix it. it makes the last 3 episodes totally meaningless.

4. how would Thrash's body protect her from the blast. they were closest, and none of the others were protected the same way despite being in close proximity. why did the terrans even get affected by the blast? theyre not energon based. its like, the main plot of the show.

5. mandroid coming in and being like "interesting! for you ive been gone for a day, but under my calculations ive been gone… a year." was funny as hell. why a year?? why not one hundred. or at least fifty. as a lone human he would NOT have been able to convince the sharkticons in a year. and against the quintessons? and all those bodily changes? its so funny how stupidly underwhelming that time is.

6. Robbie's death was stupid. he does a green lantern oath and power up then still loses against megatron (bc its megatron) and then dies and gets revived. theres no shock, you know hell come back. i hoped everyone going "somethings wrong" meant we were going to get a "he died and came back wrong" ordeal but i guess i was expecting too much. also wasnt he dying in one episode. he said "its getting worse" and then he was fine

7. this entire part feels sooo odd to me with the inconsistencies, i wonder if the writers strike has anything to do with it. it almost feels so random. like on the same episode where robbie dies— why were they like "is that the real megatron?" while being scared as if they dont know megatron as a good guy. why would you be scared its the real megatron.

8. final fight felt so rushed. this whole part felt rushed. i wonder if there were budget cuts or if they used their whole budget on the first half of the season.

9. ill say it. maybe you don’t agree with me but. So much of it feels like fanservice. The starscream episode… why would Hashtag be the one to relate to Screamer? Mind control isn’t quite the same as constant abuse. And the entire episode relied a lot on watchers knowing what that relationship was like. In knowing what Starscream and Megatron are like. If you don’t know anything, it just feels odd. Even as a g1 inspired show, where Starscream and Megatron are awful to each other in damn near equal measures. It was a nice episode, I really enjoyed it, but there should’ve been more build up to that.

10. So many of the deleted scenes provide an extra feeling that was missing from the show. I’m really sad at how much potential this show has and how the entirety of parts 1 and 2 were amazing and built up so much and part 3 was just a huge let down with so many inconsistencies and questions left unanswered right after being brought up.

okay listen i cannot emphasize how much thought has been put into this, i have backstories for each of the pokemon, i know how all of them met their trainers, ive designated the serious trainers with a specific type of pokemon they train, like. listen to me. i have put SO much thought into this and how pokemon would fit into the lmk universe and canon. im going insane.

anyways, heres some of the pokemon/trainer lineups. ive done..... a large majority of the important cast? i havent gone into azure's whole group, but i think thats all im missing. i've done a lot.

okay okay some notes:

Pigsy didn't want MK having too many pokemon, partially because of mess/healthcode violations, and also because of money reasons. he had just the one pokemon the for the majority of his life, and after 'A Hero Is Born' pigsy was 1. so glad that MK was alive that he didn't care and 2. mk promised to keep it away from the kitchen and pay for all of its needs itself and ect ect. it was very much a 'PLEAAAASEEE can I keep it 🥺' kind of thing. The Kubfu mainly stays at the training ground (its very dedicated), so that wasn't an issue.

For Mei, she chose the trapinch (the preevolution of the vibrava) at the pokemon equivalent of a pet store bc its a tradition in the family to get a dragon-type pokemon when they turn twelve. her parents showed her a bunch of options and she thought the final evolution looked epic. The Boltund is known for chasing fast things, including vehicles. it chased her until the finish line and she was delighted to have attracted such a fast pokemon. the pawmi was just a little guy that she was secretly messing with instead of paying attention to red son XD

okay there's not too much extrapolation i have to go into for red son, BUT. the fact that none of his pokemon have evolved was/is a major sore point for him, and his parents often were critical on whether they (and by proxy, red son) were strong enough. Now he and his parents are more normal about it, and ironically its the lack of stress and pressure that's going to make it easy for them to evolve now. smth smth friendship is an important part of a pokemon's health, its like a whole character arc for him.

AND THATS NOT ALL. I wanted to go over like... specifically why i chose some of these pokemon!! like, for MK, his pokemon represent different parts of him, like, narratively!

the whimscott is playful, loves pranks, and its kind of a metaphor for the more childish side of him? Which is why i made it his first pokemon! (I also chose it because it reminded me of the monkey kings cloud, which i feel like his younger self would have wanted sooo bad LMAO)

the monferno is obviously related to his connection to the monkey king, but most importantly it hangs in packs, and THEREFORE represents his love for his friends bc obviously that's a huge part of him, yk? (I also really like this pokemon for him bc it matches his color scheme XD)

And for the Kubfu, the episode it was found on is very important! the kubfu is known for how dedicated it is to its training both its body and its mind, as well as its "fighting spirit". Sooo obviously it represents MK's sense of duty and his want to train to be better! He and his kubfu train a LOT in season 2, when he's trying to prepare for the LBD. (Fun Fact: this was almost Wukong's pokemon, but i couldnt stop drawing connections to MK when looking at it because its got the little bandana and everything, and i thought it was too similar to him to be wukongs pokemon. i mean, if he already mentored that pokemon, that would make the fact that he's mentoring MK way less meaningful, yk?)

rant warning-- so thinking about it again, that whole “hawks killed twice & everyone hates him” thing (but also, the ENTIRE war) still makes me mad but not even because he killed twice in specific. i dont care that he killed a villain. I just want to know why society cared that he killed a villain. it was him or twice, the fuck did you want him to do? die? you’ll sleep better at night, in your evacuation shelter, knowing the number 2 hero is fucking dead? if the point was “bluh all might made people feel safe and now theyre stupid :(” oh so it’s all mights fault? the hell do you want him to do about it, NOT save people? that’s kinda in the job description of a PRO HERO. why are you mad that villains are dead. do they think the villains just... disappear? would you rather the villains NOT die? because only a few days later those same villains that were apprehended got released from fucking prison. you know, nearly ALL of the villains that caused the war? Oh that’s soooo much better. i feel much better knowing that we didn’t kill any of the villains that would later be released from prison! So that was pointless.

and then they have the gall to blame THE HEROES for the destruction THE VILLAINS CAUSED. Like i’m no hero apologist (quite the opposite, i think criticizing the way hero society works is correct) but why are we blaming them for something they didnt do? Is it because they didnt prevent it? Mount lady couldnt stop him and she was his size. I would like to see the civilians try to apprehend a GIANT FUCKING MONSTER. If we should be mad at anyone we should be mad at the 20-something highschoolers that couldnt stop him -- but logically, society doesnt even know that they were there, so I get that. better question: how do the children sleep at night knowing THEY caused mass destruction by not stopping machia first? Why didn’t momo just create a bomb? She made an entire fucking canon before, she can surely make a hand grenade, right? It doesn’t even have to be something destructive, there were so many options, why a sedative? She’s one of the smartest people in her group to the point of being temporarily the leader, and that’s the best she can do? Even so how did NOBODY, out of a group of 20-something kids, have the aim to get the sedative in his mouth the first time? God i hate those kids. And i’m reading my hero academia! I’m supposed to like them! Let alone the fact that we barely see the kids these days. what’s the point of having them there if they barely do anything? If you’re going to have a series focused on kids essentially enrolling in the equivalent of military school, at least have them do actual things that the school teaches them? Or at LEAST let them be in the spotlight, not the fifty thousand heroes that teach them? But I digress before i blow an artery. -_-

both! ive ran 20th anni for about a year and then 5e for about a year, though currently im not storytelling any VtM (though that may change soon... hint hint). im in another vtm game that runs id say about once a month also which is pretty fun, and another one thats been on hiatus...then i played in one before that too. ive been in a lto haha

2. How and when did you get into VtM?

basically. after watching this i was like "hmm, i should play the original deus ex". so i went off and did that and had a really good time with it. then i was like "hmm, there are probably some other good immersive sims in that chart in that one section of the video." and i realised vtmb was among them. my dad owns it on dvd from forever ago so i just bought it on steam since i trust his tastes and the rest is history pretty much

3. Which edition do you play/ prefer?

i prefer 20th anniversary in a lot of ways. after trying out 5e, it streamlined a lot of things that didn't really make sense, and i dont really support the direction the company is going in atm either

4. What's your favourite clan? Why?

i think it would have to be the tzimisce tbh. id say theyre probably the most original/exciting of the bunch? and the most Obviously Monstrous i guess. like nosferatu generally dont choose to be Like That, but some tzimisce do, and i think thats really interesting. they kind of encapsulate their side of the sabbat really well.

5. What's your least favourite clan? Why?

i think the ventrue. if you want a social disciplines clan the toreador/followers of set/etc. are just a lot mroe interesting. the best kind of ventrue is a business major that gets bullied the rest are kind of boring unless you do something fun with it (e.g. anarch ventrue)

6. Which clan haven't you played/ developed but would love to try?

tzimisce duuuh but theyre usually banned in camarilla games...sad

7. What is your favourite discipline? Why?

honestly auspex is probably one of the most versatile and interesting that i use the most often. people sleep on it but it can give you a lot of info that you couldnt get through mundane skills

8. Describe your worst Messy Critical and/ or Bestial Failure that you've played/ seen/ suffered

not the same but most of our botches have been terrible car crashes. theyre so funny

9. What's your favourite piece of VtM Media? eg. Games, books.. The TV series...

hmmm vtmb. but vtm redemption comes pretty close through its story and corny factor alone (please dont actually play it the gameplay sucks)

10. What's been your favourite interaction throughout your VtM experiences? Can be in game, playing video games.. anything.

i liked the pc/pc yaoi that my brujah and the groups malkavian had it was so juicy and drama filled... i think pc/pc romances can be really special and exciting if everyone is on board

I love that you mentioned that emmy and alex's ways of dealing with depression or hard life is not one better than the other, but because of the narrative, it might seem like it is, depending on who read it. What pisses me off about pd is when they were asked in a goodreads question/fb group a few years back about what emmy did all those years she was away to california, pd merrily replied: i dont know. Like... WTF. Thats the thing, we didnt even get will's pov as much when he was drunk, but we got so much intervention from unnecessary side characters. I remember when nightfall was first released, so many people hated emmy on twitter and fb groups, some even made fanfics of willalex in the chatgroup lmao, even when pd already said in their fb page that people were very quick to judge women like emmy when they liked damon, but that didnt really stop the haters though. But can you really blame these fans when pd kept on hyping up willdamon and willalex all those time? Why hype them up so unnecessarily when there would be no follow up of their relationship later because the endgame was already set in stones? It just came back to bite pd in her ass.

During that summer/fall of nightfall's release, so many illemmy fans were super mad and i believe it was the book that pd got the most hates from FANS because of the way they wrote emmy. Many fand on twitter accused pd writing so much alex's involvement in nightfall as a fan service for alex's fans because these fans then demanded too much and unfortunately, they got it. Then Fall Away wasnt hyped as much by pd's fans because of this backlash, and now even Motel, a novel set in the same universe as Birthday Girl was announced to be put on hold from writing and publication because pd said they couldnt force themself to write this novel no matter how many times they tried. Unsurprisingly, Motel was supposed to come out a few years ago near nightfall and fall away. Pd also implied a couple of times that they couldnt continue writing their stories because the fans' expectation and the stories that they actually wanted to write are different so they would be stuck in a pickle. Honestly, readers should just leave pd alone because i knew damn well nightfall was not supposed to be written like that, if pd werent so pressured by all those fb moms for their damon and alex's fascination years ago. Writers should stay away from fan spaces, and fans shouldnt bother authors and just write their own headcanons or fanfics for things they wanted to read outside of canon, instead of demanding things from the author. Or else, things like this will happen.

Can you imagine if pd actually wasnt that influenced by those fans or haters all those years, we could actually get a solid willemmy story in nightfall. I dont know if anyone has mentioned this to you, but there will be a special edition that will be released in america only (so far) that will include qnas, letters, bonus and contents for each couple? If youre from the US, maybe you can get your hands on them. Unfortunately, im not from the US, and i dont even live near the US, so im not able to get them but im sure those contents will be spread anyway hopefully.

+I was cackling at that damon torrance hate ask, because yes, it's always a damon torrance bully hate hour, haha! Hope theyre doing well though, damon is just a fictional character after all, no need to stress out too much. Just pray we dont meet someone like him irl.

I did read PD’s response and felt some negative way about it. For me, even if I’m not writing that part of the story, I have to at least know what happened because it might become relevant. But then, I go too far like that (as I’m sure you all can tell now). But PD’s process is probably very different from mine and, hey, at least they’ve finished and published multiple series and stand-alone’s…which I have not. So, I’m not here to criticize their method.

I didn’t know PD had called the fandom out on their dislike for Emmy when NF was released. I can’t imagine having to deal with that level of vitriol, especially about something I created.

I will admit that I’ve written myself into a corner before, without the help of anyone else lol. And once you get stuck in the corner, it’s really hard to get out without feeling overwhelmed. If PD had let other people control the narrative, even indirectly, I can’t imagine how hard it would be to get back on track. But you have to deal with it. It makes sense that the fear of backlash would paralyze them. Not saying it’s right or fair but writing and inspiration doesn’t work like that.

You’re absolutely right. As the author, PD should have left the fandom spaces long before writing, but it’s really hard to. Writers thrive on feedback and comments, and if they had found a place that gave them constant feedback and validation for what they were doing, and throwing out ideas (hey, free inspiration!) then I understand why they didn’t peel themselves away. The fandom should have never been given any power of the story. But yeah, once it was published, readers should go to the author’s space to complain. If the author wants to hear their negative feedback (which we all know we’ll get at some point) they’ll find it when they’re ready to process it. It’s never warranted to go directly to the author and throw hate in their face.

I do wonder what things would have changed if the story had been influenced by the fans. A more fleshed out Willemmy would have been great.

I hadn’t been aware of the special edition release. Honestly, I’m surprised. I figured after the most recent cover change, that would be the last PD was going to touch the series for a few more years. That bonus content could be really interesting, and I hope we get something good. It most likely will be spread and made available some place.

i had to split this into another reblog i hate this site so fucking much

sokshis gate counts as a machine due to it having many parts, but it was created in the first place at the beginning of the ah-oohs invading. looking back i wouldnt say what happened with the ah-oohs and karmen was a "war", because here they were just planning to enslave a bunch of innocent people for selfish purposes (the ah-oohs are incredibly european to me and i have to state that slogturtle, buzzcrave, and covet hiss wont ever be redeemed due to them engaging in this) . the patapons themselves had set patapole on the karmens land after finding the egg, which was literally being watched over by the karmen until they came along and took a big chunk of land. karmens tried to settle things peacefully with the patapons but they were literally up their ass a big chunk of the time that they continued to settle down in land that didnt even belong to them. i already stated this hc somewhere on my blog, but dettankarmen isnt really a demon but a god that was born out of the rightful anger the karmens had, and then patapole fell because of dettankarmen.

i think its much more interesting that dettankarmen is the one who "tricked" hero into breaking the egg, a god begging to be released so it could release its people from the grasp of the pons. ormen i feel had some involvement, he heard dettankarmen in pain and the moment the egg was cracked him and other karmens striked. patapons then and probably now dont understand why theyre so disliked due to their ignorance (if anything patapons are like. "oh we can be best friends! we just need to compromise!" while ignoring the elephant in the room) before the patapons returned the karmens had experienced freedom for centuries but many of them were still affected by the ah-oohs and patapons actions. even if they were basically left alone (and the moment zigotons tried to come in, they were literally kicked out and told to never set foot on the continent. some smugglers still stole native plants like shookles though for kharma) there was still fear that another group of asshats would come back

even if the patapons did return they know the egg wasnt really. earthend. and i feel the princess was trapped bc ormen saw her as the only good royal and didnt bother to murk her on sight (but basically gave her other lasting trauma, like being stuck in an egg for years and hardly interacting with nyone else) princess probably began to slowly understand why the karmens feel the way they do and just went "yeah you can still have patapole we dont need it anymore" despite medens complaints. id go on more but uh. karmens here have a lot going on and if anyones wondering, "this is a lot of retcons to protray the karmens as sympathetic" thats my point! even if karmens can do shitty things i think they are protrayed awfully and not all of them are fucking asshats and can be complex nd provide commentary on the world. yes my patapon takes are also political. art is political dont bother me about being woke. thats a big chunk that i can offer but if anyones a first nations person of the specific folks i mentioned in the beginning, feel free to give me criticism. in my stuff i dont wanna focus on the horrors all that much because im fully aware that its tiresome. thats about all i can say here abut karmens

no worries anon o7 i think this will be pretty long alongside some retcons of stuff. its more of an au than anything else but i just call them hcs out of habit

the most important thing is that karmens are very varied depending on where they live, but also some karmens can be mixed between other chiefdoms (such as a pretty critical character, pyropmen, as her mother is a mt. gonrok karmen and her father is a swamp karmen) due to me slacking all the rest dont really.. have names except for the diongamala (which are karmens that live in rainforests, jungles, and shorelines) an important thing il state is that these chiefdoms are based off irl indigenous cultures, such as the tundra being from inuit inspiriation, mt.gonrok spider canyons and savannah being inspired from dine/navajo people, the oasis being inspired by the maasai people, and diongamala being inspired off of the kwakwakaʼwakw. i think its important to state my inspirations (that i feel in some cases are very, very clear) and that a big chunk of characters that i made whom are karmens are indigenous people and that is very, very important. i also dont belong to any of these groups, so if anyone who happens to be from them- they are free to tell me what to use inspiration as and whats not and criticize my hcs. all il state for the time being for the masks, theres a lot of reasons why karmens wear them. its for religious purposes (such as honoring a deity), or for practical purposes (a lot of karmens have another pair of masks thats used while doing work, or being in battle; many red and orange masks are incredibly defensive against a variety of weapons). a lot of karmens i feel get peeved if somepon asks to see their face, since its a personal matter. masks are also for expression of ones self. even if each mask varies on each chiefdom, one karmens mask doesnt have to "fit" in. this is why i often try to make karmens have differing masks (from things being. stupidly detailed to simpleish) i feel karmens obviously arent a monolith in how they act and feel about others, like i dont think they rely on magic or whatever the fuck. speaking of magic i feel that yes it obviously exists in patapon but like i said before karmens dont. rely on it. there are engineers and chefs and poets that exist and the toxin karmens employ engineers so they can create things like the zugagang. this relates to my spiderton hcs bc their inventions are so impressive that some zigoton engineers such as spiderton had taken heavy inspiration from it

10 Anti LO Asks

1. Putting something out there, Minthe vs Apollo and why Minthe is a more interesting antangoist. We can all agree that Minthe’s worst trait is being abusive and Apollo’s for r**e. 

If we take out Minthe’s abuse, she’s still a character by herself. She has her own backstory and her own motives. Minthe was her own force in the plot, she was a pre established relationship, with its own problems because both characters weren’t a match. She has her own friend group, her own life outside of hades and work.

Take out Apollo’s horrible action, his character falls a bit 1 dimensional. He’s a creep in sheep’s clothing right now, he’s obessed with Persphone, and her act of wrath didnt have anything to do with him yet he’s all over it. He’s Artemis’ brother but we haven’t really see them be siblings in awhile other than Apollo saying he wants a better life for his family, but we don’t know fully how they’re struggling (since Leto has a nice place and Artemis seems just fine.) Apollo just seems like he’s there to show off other characters (make Apollo look better, to cause conflict between Persphone and Artemis) but nothing of his own. Like even his motive to become king seems like it’s more for Leto than himself. He has Artemis and Hermès, but we really only see him talk about persphone.

I feel like RS write both these two characters with the extreme badness because she was insecure making these bad guys just bad, but personally Minthe would have been good bad guy without the abuse since Minthe already had a bad set up (self destructive, afraid of commitment, toxic friends) but Apollo just doesn’t seem much of a character, just something to make Persphone’s plot lines have conflict. 

2. theres a part of me that feels bad for rachel, bc shes the first one to get the book deals, adaptions, etc on the western side, which means she has no one to learn from or what mistakes to avoid. thats why crumbs and other webtoons are taking more time into adapting them for print, its why theyre taking time (like lets play) to wrap up the story before getting tv producers involved, its why theyre making better merch deals, etc, they can see what rachel messes up on and avoid it, while she can't

3. I'm not going to hold it against RS if she has typos in her scripts or w/e, but I will question why at least four, if not more, people look at each episode and don't fix the spelling errors for her? Like they all have the files and scripts (I assume) so they should be able to fix them. Really I'm more concerned too the typos went into print too?? So even the publishers and designers didn't fix it either? Like this will likely be her only major project, why isn't more effort and care put into it?

4. its a fandom joke about how "funny" it is eros seems to actually be in love with psyche's disguise over psyche herself and im like?? how would psyche be ok with that? i get the idea is oh he loves her bc its actually psyche underneath it but he doesnt know? so from an outside POV (and his too) it just looks like he actually doesnt love her and moved on fast to really wanting this other woman instead. idk its so messy and just makes eros/psyche less viable, idk why the fans think its funny/cute??

5. i love how some of the book reviews are claiming the anachronism in LO is a deliberate choice of RS commenting on ancient values in modern times as opposed to the reality she just picked it for the aesthetics. pre-revolution france, modern day nyc, and sicily (??) gets more rep in LO than actual greece. the trial especially could have used anachronism with how many courthouses purposely look like the parthenon, yet it doesn't. it just seems like trying to make it deeper than it is IMHO.

6. ive seen so many LO stans shut down critics as "youre just poor" as if that means anything? i dont care if hades is rich, the issue is that LO has a massive class divide that hades and co created for their benefit (which was never in myth) with them abusing their citizens and power all they want w/ the poor seen as evil for pushing back , and in hades' case, literally owning slaves, which is framed as a good thing. sorry, why cant there be critique on this love letter to greed and capitalism?

7. ok so just like, try and ignore the slavery and how creepy is he and all that, but is lo hades even like ... nice? like im not joking, what about himm is genuinely attractive beyond rachel just saying so? what does persephone like about him beyond her initial lust? because yes lust aides in most relationships, but that cant be all of it.  we know what hades sees in her (her body, her always doing what he wants, her never standing up to him, etc) but what does she see in /him/?

8. the fact the only thing LO has actually done from the persephone myth is just the kidnapping (which was all of two episodes in the first published three) while we're going into its FOURTH year and nothing else of the myth has even been touched on is ridiculous. why make a story based off this specific myth if you dont use it beyond the first three episodes? i get shes going for "deconstruction", but that doesn't mean break the whole mythology apart, throw it away, and make up whatever you want.

10. the thing with LO's obsession with Sicily is it's technically not /incorrect/, because HxP did have a lot of worship there. The problem is Sicily didn't even exist as a Greek colony until centuries /after/ HxP were already well established in Greece, which according to actual sources seems to point to their origins being on Crete, where others like Demeter, Dionysus, and Zeus get their origins from. IDK why she's so close to being accurate yet isn't. Maybe she likes the aesthetics of Italy more?

What a Normal friend group. It’d be a shame if anything happened…

Yes it’s my first time watching this movie, and how popular it’s become in media over the years has kind of ruined the :0 who done it? Effect of the movie, huh yeah I wonder if it’s ‘I speak exclusively in movie/horror movie references’ mcdreamy over here.

But in already knowing who the killer(s) is/are it gave me a appreciation? Both for the writers and for their planning as well as I have to give credit for a lot of what they do though the movie to perfectly craft out this ‘grand plan’ and the movie throwing in Red herrings like candy, even if it’s clearly Mr. NC-17.

Falling for tropes while being a parody-

Scream , while very clearly being a spoof/parody of horror movies in the day, also falls for many itself. Which is the point but again I can’t help but admire it? However Casey was mainly just plain stupid and I’ll admit that (keep him on the phone 😫 talk and play along, lock doors , grab something, call someone else etc.) but I LOVE her death scene as something about the tragedy of your salvation being RIGHT there but your screams make no noise is absolutely beautiful?

When theyre revealed , they fall for the classic formula of any horror movie. They have a extremely complex and practically perfect plan that goes brilliant and then they’re extremely ducking stupid and get killed. As does every villian until ultimately it’s time for a sequel and some BS  explanation is given to how they’re alive. They were caught monologuing smh, never get caught monologuing. That and being overly excited over killing a reporter— it’s just a fun aspect, that and the end with a Tripple sort of jump scare? Also fucking love Sidney for just shooting that milasecond, not even thinking 👏 thank you for having brain cells and just so blank about it sjsksksksksk

Who’s the best charecter and why is is Stu and Tatum

Seriously they completely steal whatever scene they’re in , and since they’re dating it’s often sharing scenes. Which also just? Leads to best parts like smacking him with a lollipop or “oh that movie lol”. Seriously, their dynamic.

Also all my love to randy? Being the movie logic guy and logic in general, that and comedic art (also was NOT expecting him to be the 5th wheel of the group, if anyone I thought it’d be Stu or Sidney, rip randy)

Sidney is clearly dealing with some pretty major issues do to her mother’s murder and her initial jumping (on what she realizes to be the wrong suspect). So why is her friend group PEOPLE WHO TALK ABOUT NOTHING BUT HORROR MOVIES AND GORE ALL DAY? ??? But she does genuinely have some compelling/ messed up stuff going on which I could rant about forever but that’s another time

I’m also thinking about Billy preaching how great and glorious it is to not have a motive at all, isn’t that funny? Etc and then proceeding to just toss in ✨ I have mommy issues✨ while stus’s bleeding out on the counter In the background all ✌️.

Also not a question but I genuinely think they could have done something with stu’s “I’ll be right back” moment, but then again they weren’t out to kill anyone else at the party. Still though, would have been perfect moment for a fake death.

I found ‘liver alone’ funny Stu, your friends just don’t  appreciate humor (seriously this movie is so fucking funny I have at least a full page of good lines)

hey - this is one of the mods of the bi jon project. we don't actually dislike or disagree with pan jon at all, we just want to make a project focused on and celebrating bisexuality. our carrd is a bit rambling, but frankly we were trying our best/overcompensating to try and make sure people didn't misunderstand us and do - well, this. our intentions are good, and it's really kind of disenheartening to see all the hate we've gotten for what was meant to be a positive project. you're under no obligation to answer these, but i saw some of your posts in the tag and felt like reaching out because you did give us even the tiniest bit of slack in good faith. honestly, if you have any advice about what in our carrd is so overwhelmingly bad, we'd be happy to hear it. we've been trying to respond to the overwhelming amount of criticism we've got in a positive way, and take peoples' suggestions. as for why 'no anti-antis' was at the bottom of our rules list, it's legitimately bc we were trying so hard to be preventative about this negativity that we forgot to add it when we first posted the blog, and just remembered later. again, you're under no obligation to answer these, i just feel like no one's really actually letting us defend ourselves/are taking things in as bad faith a way as possible. the issues have all been repeatedly brought up to you so i dont really see how me repeating all of them once again could help. when i last looked at the cardd the things that stood out immediately included. 

pitting ace & bi identities and people against each other REPEATEDLY,  

starting off with a guilt trippy tone and maintaining it throughout (in my experience this is the #1 best way to receive backlash because people do not want to participate in events where you feel like youre being guilted into it, which going into scrutinizing detail over there not being enough content and passing judgement onto authors or artists over it is something that comes across as guilt trippy.),

repeatedly equating asexuality with sex repulsion (not to get into the misleading information about modteam aspec identity breakdowns, since you claimed that 3/4 of the team are aspec, which is technically correct, but what you didnt say was that only one is acespec. surely you know that [allosexual] aro and [alloromantic] ace are not interchangeable) and calling using biromantic over bisexual a “misunderstanding” of the identity as if how to define romantic vs sexual attraction (how to divide, if or if not to divide, use interchangeably different labels) isnt a deeply personal choice ace people who experience romantic attraction make, 

claiming that bisexual jon is canon (he isn’t. this is why people are suspicious of anti-other mspec identities sentiments. which theyre right, if youll be so kind as to stick around til the last paragraph) and repeatedly implying that the reason there isnt “enough” content centering bi jon because the aces are simply unable to not fixate on his asexuality (again, pitting identities against each other),

making the banned ship list way needlessly confusing and including ships that dont even include jon to it, which simply comes across as some kind of a list of bad ships, idk. a way to bypass this would simply be to say “we are looking for portrayals of healthy relationships!” and that couldve just been it. if you felt that that wouldnt exclude specific ships (eg. jondaisy that a lot of people write as a relationship between trauma survivors who have done very bad things trying to get better and learning to trust each other) it is possible to simply say “the modteam is squicked[/triggered] by ships with daisy/elias/peter and we’d like to read all of the works submitted so we’re asking not to receive submissions with those ships.” hating ships is literally completely normal but making rules hard to parse is going to attract questions, especially when the implication is that ships are excluded on the grounds of morality, and a blatant power difference ship (jonelias) is equated with jondaisy, which is from what ive seen almost exclusively shown to be a relationship between equals. that makes people EXTREMELY confused about where the line is. thats why youre getting so many questions about this.  

in general the carrd was spotty, guilt trippy, and needlessly moralizing where it definitely did not need to be. the key to getting people to engage without getting backlash is to make the event seem fun. when your carrd is filled with stuff about unrelated negative stuff people are not going to think it’s a fun event at all. 

and none of this even gets into the fact that at least one of the mods has a history of open hostility against pan people. i heard through the grapevine that he has since made a fauxpology about it, but frankly it already shone through in the language used in the event descriptions. its extremely hard to take any of this is good faith when it is easy to see that one of the organizers is quite fucking clear about thinking pansexuality is biphobic and the carrd is or at least used to be full of anti-pan (and other mspec identity) dogwhistles, and is notorious in some of the tma fic author circles for being extremely fucking nasty about trans men writing fic he doesn’t like to the point of pretending that we’re all cis people (in case youre not keeping track that is misgendering us by implication) because he doesn’t like it. i think some of you (or maybe all of you? idk) in general could stand to examine whether your engagements and participations in the fandom have been at all about having fun or adding positivity to anything, or simply making posts about what other people are doing wrong. it seems that every post i see from anyone in this group is guilt trippy and authoritative, and sadly this translated directly into the event. 

when youre, say, a trans man whose first touch to one of the mods was a post about how fic where trans men have piv sex with cis men is hurting him personally and making it a moral issue and not a matter of a simple preference to the point where he feels comfortable making claims about the trans men (and transmasc nonbinary people) writing fic about trans characters re: their gender or whether theyre fetishizing trans men, your willingness to engage in good faith with an event hosted by him that features numerous red flags is not going to be unconditional. 

im sorry to hear that it has been bad for your mental health, and idk whats fucking going on with this event anymore, but my good faith interpretations have diminished significantly since i saw the shit tmc specifically has been saying about pansexual people and pansexuality as an identity label. i have no clue where the rest of you stand but tmc has repeatedly, consistently shown himself to be unable to act in good faith towards anyone other than people who agree with him.

sorry to be negative but i feel like it's not only bts that has gotten bad recently it's also army, i haven't loved their recent releases and even friends have turned their backs on me because i've tweeted about it when i thought it was fine voicing my opinion :( i am not a fan of many groups and i don't care for drama but sometimes it's like they're doing all the bad things they swear other groups' fans do, i miss it when we all had fun even with other groups' fans now if you interact with anyone else you get put in an anti category or something like that :( lately it feels like you can't say anything and i understand bts get a lot of hate but the hate they used to get pre fame era does not compare to the things armys say about other groups or the way they treat fans they don't agree with :/ and i'm a fan!! i've been for so long!! i just want my boys back :( so i don't understand why they use the hate bts get as an excuse when i bet they weren't even here for persona lmao it makes me sad because bts was my safe haven for a long time and in the span of a year it seems like everything got ruined :( i sincerely hope their music gets better after the pandemic if there even is bts after the pandemic, i keep wondering if these are hyung line's last comebacks and i want to cry thinking this english music and american promotions are what they will remember instead of their amazing music and everything they mean for armys. is success an money all they care about because it seems like that to me :(

Idk if you ever got the answer to your thing. But I’m a person who is queer but regularly uses the term lesbian to make things simpler. I can tell you why I hate the phrase monosexual- it feels transphobic to me- I am not attracted to men at all, but I am attracted to women, non-binary folks, gender queer folks, and agender folks. If I was with a partner and they transitioned to be a man I would still love them. That wouldn’t change. Sexuality is fluid and calling someone monosexual seems to erase that and really put people in boxes. Everyone has exceptions. And as someone who has identified as bisexual and pansexual in the past and find those not to suit me and fit right (especially since I am not sexually/romantically attracted to people physically/based on appearances- it’s more about personality and what I could do with a person)

I don’t mean this in an antagonistic way, I really hope it doesn’t come off that way(I’m bad expressing myself sorry).

Why do bisexual people may need to use the term monosexual?

So I wouldnt call you monosexual because you’re clearly not attracted to only one gender (but if you want to who I am to stop you?). Monosexual is someone who is almost exclusively dating/is attracted to people of one gender. There are plenty trans people that are straight or gay that would NOT date a partner if they realized they were a different gender. For real: kat blaque made a video (here it is if youre interested) on youtube about this - she’s trans and she wants to date men and wouldnt feel comfortable on continuing dating if a partner of hers realized they were actually a trans woman all along. She wants to date guys not girls and that's FINE it just means A. She actually recognizes the girl gender, obviously B. She's straight af and that's wonderful! It’s not a box if that’s how her experience is and she likes it that way!

Also how is being monosexual transphobic? Cant a girl just like guys exclusively (both cis and trans) or like girls exclusively (both cis and trans)? It's not even enbyphobic since you dont need to be attracted to a person to support their rights. (Gay men arent attracted to women but can be 100% feminists.) Being open to fuck somebody is not the same as supporting their rights: fetishization is a thing. Again, I refer to the video Kat Blaque made.

Sexuality IS fluid but to some people (like me and you) it is more than others. Some people don’t feel comfortable dating people that dont fall into the gender theyre usually attracted to and thats 100% okay.

B. It helps in talking about biphobia and panphobia in society

Biphobia and panphobia are for the large part based on the assumption that you cant be attracted to more than one gender (not even non-binary and so on) and that if you do you're weird/disgusting/mentally ill/a sexual predator. I can tell you 100% that's the narrative both straight and gay people can and may perpetuate since I struggle w this kind of shit every single time Im attracted to someone no matter their gender (YES, EVEN IF THEY'RE A GUY, BECAUSE THE OTHER DAY I WAS ATTRACTED TO A GIRL AND NOW I FEEL LIKE A FUCKING ANIMAL THAT CANT CONTROL ITSELF, even though it makes NO sense because if it was two girls or two boys the actual number of people my hormones activated to wouldnt change, but it would make my experience not subjected to biphobia!). I’m not saying gay people are the same as straight people. But I do feel alienated BOTH from heteronormative society AND from (subtly biphobic) gay spaces because of my bisexuality. I costantly feel like I’m outside both of those worlds and you know how humans are: I just need a term to encompass it all easily, to say “I don’t identify with any of this” (which is both straight and strictly gay spaces: ie, monosexual). To me is literally the same as saying non-bisexual/non-pansexual.

I dont mean to say lesbians or gays have it easier or are just like straight people. But we do have different experiences and I need terms to express that. It honestly doesnt matter to me if you identify as lesbian or queer (though I think you’re implying you’re more queer than anything). But I do need a term to talk about how society at large treats sexuality; ie, as a monosexual thing. Another concept that’s been thrown around is bi erasure. A strictly monosexual society is bound to view a girl dating a girl (or girl presenting) as if theyre both LESBIANS and erase a queer person the moment they’re in a m/f relationship, because people cant COMPUTE that it may not be the case and that the girl dating a cis straight dude isnt betraying her queerness.To think so is basic biphobia.

In some ways, I think it’s the same as when transgender people started using the term cisgender - which is applicable to both straight people and queer/gay people. They simply needed a term which meant “not-trans” as they were saying “I dont identify with this” (ie the cisgender experience). Does it imply that cisgender people, no matter if queer, have something in common? Yeah, yeah it does. Does it imply that queer people are just the same as straight people, or face no oppression? Of course not. Seeing people being offended upon being called monosexual feels like people being offended upon being called cis to me.

Also, saying that the terms bisexual people use are transphobic is almost implying that bisexuality is inherently transphobic? Or reeks to me of that kind of rhetoric. I use the terms I need to use, just like any other marginilized group does, and nobody outside of that group has any right of denying me that. It’s like I’m trying to create a safe space for myself and people like me and yall come around to judge us YET AGAIN. And I'm just tired of hearing this bullshit. I could accept this kind of criticism only if it came from a trans person themselves, I guess? But it’s not usually trans people who accuse us of being transphobic, in fact, many trans people identify as bisexual and use bisexual terminology lmfao.

“Hearts not parts” rhetoric

Finally, about personality being superior to physical appearance. That's amazing but I do want to note that, not you necessarily, but many people who are into the “hearts not parts” rhetoric are, how can I say this. Slut-shaming people? I’m not sure if you are doing this but I feel it needs to be said just to be sure. A lesbian trans woman can be just attracted to a girl for her physical appearance and just want to fuck her - and THAT'S OKAY. That's fine. I am a sexually attracted to people and that doesnt mean I have to form a deep bond first. Sex positivity is about accepting that people can feel like this and not shame them for this. "Hearts not parts” rhetoric has in the past infantilized, sanitized or outright shamed other queer experiences. It's fine if you feel that way but dont start acting like you're morally superior because of that. That's catholicism with extra steps. My bisexuality its not the symptom of some predatory and animalistic thing that should be purified into something more palatable and less sexual. That’s the same thing they used to say about gay people and now gay (biphobic) people are using this against us. That’s also the kind of thing trans women (especially if they’re sapphic) constantly hear every fucking day. Queer people have a good part of their discrimination rooted in the shaming of purely sexual desires. Forcing ourselves to be more palatable and less sexual is just respectability politics. I’m tired of it. (This is obviously different from being on the asexual spectrum: but you dont see ace people going around pretending they’re morally superior than everybody else, and many are actually very sex positive)   You would still love your partner if they were a different gender: that’s great, but that’s not how some (most) people feel, and they aren’t superficial because of this, just different from you.

Also, I think you’d really benefit from hearing a trans person say they don’t care if someone has genitalia preferences. Here it is. This obviously doesnt mean that every trans person will feel like she does, but it does mean that we can’t generalize trans experiences/preferences/what they feel transphobia is. Just like straight people dont get to say what’s homophobic or not, cis people dont get to say what’s transphobic or not. The definition of those terms relies entirely on the community that is targeted by these things.

I hope this wasnt excessively confusing but I wanted to make my point clear.
