Bad news, gamers. Well, bad in that it is embarrassing for me. I downloaded Masters.

This was about a week ago. To be clear, I have spent nothing, I haven't even logged on every day. I came back because...I wanted that free Lillie. Admittedly part of playing Ultra Sun was that this alt put me strongly in a Lillie mood, due to the visual similarities to her 2021 Anni alt (one of my favorites they ever did), and with constant talk about it...I finally folded. Let this serve as a lesson: behavior can't change by thinking about not doing it, you need a replacement.

As figure as part of this horrific (and temporary) mistake, I may as well talk about being back. In part because...admittedly I do kinda miss writing about it. Like, I enjoyed the teambuilding and the viability speculation stuff. It was fun for me and I liked the feeling of doing something that contributes mildly. So consider this indulging that itch.

The Units Before I get into this, please understand I had 150+ gems when I left. I had a lot to work with and promise I have spent nothing.

Free Lillie is pretty fun. I actually like her a lot, but this is partially just who she's running with. She's incredibly good with Arc Steven. Spoilers about pulls I guess. I actually do like her kit a lot, I think she does really well for a free pair. Grid sucks, but at least that's justifiable here unlike with her 2021 alt. Lunala had no excuse.

I pulled Arc Cynthia and Arc Steven, but not Arc Lance. Steven is disgustingly overpowered, this is divine. Frankly, it's what he deserves. Eyeing Lance's kit, he also seems absolutely disgusting sick broken. Hyper Beam + Giga Impact at two gauges with -6 Def/Sp Def on hit is just absurd, frankly. The man needs to chill. But, I have little actual need of him, so...yeah. Cynthia is insanely good too, I really like her, but I am specifically pissed about no MPR because they set Dust Kicker as a 5/5 skill. I see what you're doing and I'm not falling for it, game.

I did pick up SS Nemona while she was up, but admittedly I'm unimpressed overall. To be clear, I did not do this for her Extreme Battle. I managed to win with SS Mina, Katherine, and NY Lisia. Katherine has Evasion debuffs which let Lisia hit with consistency, and Mina's able to keep the team tanking long enough for Lisia to complete her goal. No, I pulled Nemona because Steven and Cynthia showed up in three multis total between them and I got a bit greedy. Turns out the game lies and rates are better for paying customers who come back after being gone. They really want me back.

So then Nemona showed in two multis, and sitting at like 138k+ gems I went "Maybe I will try for Rika." And Rika showed in three (with bonus BT Leon). So like. They really want me back. Rika seems alright. I'm not super impressed by her kit overall, though. Ultimate Battles all have Piercing Gaze so the accuracy does nothing, and...I mean not to be a spoil sport, but Arc Cynthia has Ground Zone covered forever for me, so that's not a huge selling point either. Especially since Rika opts for mixed offense boosting, she doesn't really mesh well with some of the Ground pairs I'd want her to.

I did use the select scouts. I picked up Bellelba, Iono, and Poppy. I haven't gotten to use much of Iono and Poppy (I debated whether I'd get them, decided to today), but I have used Bellelba. She's alright. Defensive pair with Crit Shield + Reflect/Light Screen is neat. I think her kit is okay but not exceptional. That said, she did perform admirably in a way I'll get to later.

Full disclosure: I also pulled a bit on the Mix banner. I got Leaf, who is okay. I got Summer Gardenia who is not impressive. And I got Larry, who is Normal type and does not seem that impressive either. I have little to say about any of them, except that Leaf validates my stance on Mix Red when he came out: Great when the condition is there forever, horrible the instant it turns off. Oh, and the Mix banner also shit Rachel and Tina onto me, so great, thanks.

The BP stuff is fine. Lusamine seems messy, I didn't really check Rose or uh. The other one. I did check Cheryl, she doesn't seem great, go figure. Morgan seems pretty solid, but MC Raikou feels pretty mid.

Game Modes There have been some changes since I've been gone, huh?

High Score is still a thing but they're doing two types at once now? Very odd choice, considering. I just went for minimum score for completion, I did not feel like trying.

Damage Challenge sucks, and I hate it. It's basically time trials but stupider. Yes I say this because I'm bad at it. I do not for the life of me understand how to maximize damage for a timed event, and can't break like 400k with any type I've seen. It does help that I don't care about any of the rewards. I used the tickets I did get to pick up Nemona. She's not good, but she is free.

Battle Rally is the real fun. I kinda like this mode, it reminds me vaguely of Battle Castle, the best Battle facility. You get points that you spend on power-ups, and any that aren't used can be spent on items like cake coin vouchers. My best score was like 9800, but that involved a lucky set and having exactly the right finisher.

The positives of the mode are that it relies a bit on planning and strategy. You pick a team, and if you swap out team members, anyone swapped out is done for the run. There are ten matches in a row and it ends on an Ultimate Battle, with the Hard difficulty stage 10 being a 1:1 recreation with the 500k HP pools and everything. Saving your Master Fairs and heaviest hitters for this phase is a good call, but also at Stage 10 unlocks an item for 500 points that is just insanely broken and makes you borderline invincible, and it is worth using that and good multipliers compared to Easy. The point difference is severe.

The negative is that restrictions on this mode are out of control. When you start the challenge, you are given a Theme Skill that must be in your party to get 5x stats. Failure to do this means facing repeated Extreme Battles and high-end Champion Stadium stages and basically not being able to win. Because you also only gain points based on having the right role types. Each stage selects three rolls that give multipliers. If you have both roles on a single pair because of the cake roles, you get 2x points instead of 1.5x, and having that second role also means you gain something more often because you check two boxes. Which means this is a heavily pay to win mode, because the best way to get cakes is getting 5/5 PokeFairs and pulling the paid-only banners for Master Fairs. The upside is that despite showing up a bit late and not having many secondary roles, I'm able to get all 20 cake coin vouchers this month. So it's not that difficult? But also I have a lot of tools, so slight bias.

This isn't really a mode, but apparently they made generic events point-based and not voucher-based, so you can't just use vouchers to pick up the tools you want and dip? I kinda don't like that. It's functionally immaterial, but it feels a little snotty, since I have no interest in theme gear and they keep making me take it.

Ultimate Battles I missed a lot of these, eh? They're all done now. And I only had to compromise my morals for one of them.

Argenta's Glistening Crystals Argenta's was annoying because I wasn't paying attention and it's hard to catch what's happening when. Turns out she removes the Rebuff at half HP. Once I picked that up, Adaman blew her apart with SS Lyra and SS Acerola. Very little resistance once the singular serious gimmick was understood.

Palmer's Rumbling Might And this is where Bellelba gets her gold star. Palmer is a fucking asshole, and my Fighting roster is terrible. This guy sets up easy enough, but then you get Sync into Normal Zone into AoE Max Move into +3 PMUN spamming bullshit, all while basically having sure-crit. Bellelba absolutely stops his DPS in its tracks, all you need is someone strong enough to manage him. Someone like Arc Cynthia, who blew him into powder while Halloween Roxanne debuffed him to high hell. Get used to hearing about H!Roxanne by the way.

Lucy's Entangling Venom Easiest one by far. She's only a problem if you get Poisoned. Antitoxin shuts her down entirely. Arc Cynthia and H!Roxanne sweep. I think I brought Anabel to be cheeky.

Leon's Unbeatable Blaze Leon gets the Huge Dick Award for being my pick as the hardest fight. Unlike the others, this dude feels decisively impossible without a very specific pair. Unfortunately, that pair is SST Red. I made a valiant effort to get by with SS Hau, but the requirement for both terrain and paralysis means SST Red is the only viable option. Classic Elesa isn't worth the investment, and thus has no contribution in damage to support Hau. It had to be SST Red. Who eats shit if completely uninvested. Long story short, my SST Red is 15/20 now. I am not happy about it, but I had over 3000 5* scout tickets so I recouped that cost easy enough. I also EX'd Hau and gave him lv 150. I'm not really happy about that either, but I needed Leon dead and nothing else was getting the job done (Note: this was pre-Iono). I used Arc Steven as the support, and he is absolutely fantastic. Top tier support, no questions asked. Love this man.

Nita's Blessed Land Second by the slimmest margin. I actually thought she'd be impossible over a Red alt too, but unlike SST Red, I was in a better place and refused to pull NC Red on principle. Ice could not come close to getting the job done. Related: fuck them giving SS Silver Sprint instead of Strike. No, I had to get Ridiculous. And by that, I mean I found someone else's clear of the fight using Arc Steven, Arc Cynthia, and H!Roxanne. A player after my own heart. Their grid setup involved using extra energy, a concept I forgot existed until this moment, and got to learn is gated behind move level, which is disgusting. Anyway, 64 energy on each gets the job done, and despite the use of 4/5 Arc Steven for offense debuffing per hit, this is not necessary. I was actually kinda surprised how easy it was so long as Steven lands like three flinches the whole fight. Arc suits are, in fact, nutty.

Noland's Plucky Punches I think this is my favorite one, because this feels the most like a puzzle boss. Yes, it relies on having exactly the right pairs, and that function is unfortunately Fly. But if you know his cycle you can counteract it entirely with that two-turn dodge move and Wide Guard Lana. In my case, I did not have NC Cheren as the good Fly user. Instead, I had Strike Role Renegade Cynthia. Lana to block the +10 PMUN Earthquake, Shadow Force against Fissure, Arc Steven as the supreme tank to keep everyone alive. This took a few tries to perfectly understand his gimmicks, but once we had it this was really simple. Only fault is RNG on Lana is required.

Giovanni's Destructive Power Weenie Hut Jr Award goes to Kanto's favorite failman. He chose to be Dark Weak in the era of Akari, SC Zinnia, and NC Calem. He gets absolutely obliterated. I think I did this attempt 2.

Evelyn's High-Subsonic Speed Evelyn was pretty tough! I don't have SS Gladion, and at the time, didn't have SS Nemona either, so my Fairy options were limited. It also turns out they were not up to the task. Seriously, none of them could do it, it was sad. But! Fluid Fortification meant there was an easy solution, in the form of NC Leaf. Unfortunately, NC Leaf was unable to succeed on her own, as Latios would gain Sp Atk too quickly for her debuffs to keep up. Enter Bede, who is able to debuff Sp Atk very rapidly, and even sets Sun with his Max Move for her. Seriously, can we talk about how good Bede is? Absolutely underrated gem, this boy. Anyway, Arc Steven gaming remains relevant. The man cannot be stopped.

What Now? Unfortunately, I now sit upon a game with nothing left to do. I have conquered every challenge it offered in a cumulative total of a couple hours. That's all the persistent content that's been made available from six months away. And it's a sad reminder of the gacha model in general.

These games start out fun and filled with stuff to do, but eventually you will catch up. And when you do, you turn the game on expecting a full experience, only for it to prematurely grind to a halt. Faced with nothing else to do at the moment, you start to really push for something that will keep it going, and there's really nothing to offer but time or money. And it does not return the investment on either.

Don't misunderstand, coming back was fun for a bit, but I'm already looking at the game like...I'm bored. Given the usual structure, datamine should be in like a week and I legitimately don't know if I'll care enough in a few days to stay for it. It's already drying up.

Everything is on the same mesh with fat and preg morphs (you get to choose between blockfeet and sexyfeet) and with repositoried options, so this won’t overload your cc folder. Everything is compressorized but I would still advise using LazyDuchess’s CC Merger once you’ve made your selection to further reduce loading times.

You’ll see on that same Slig post that they also converted 3 other Bruno undies that I included here, but on a pretty cool mesh with pointy nipples, which you might prefer to mine if your game is on the realistic side.

Final note: Why isn’t everything enabled for EF? Because standard skins are adapted to elders having saggy boobs, which means that an elder wearing a bra made for AF will more often than not have a weird-looking underboob area. Among all these lingerie sets, only the one that Bruno made for elders to begin with was covering enough not to have that issue, so that’s the only one I enabled for EF. If however you use skins correlated to the Momma Lisa body shape (such as the ones I have here), your ML elders don’t have saggy boobs and therefore won’t have the weird underboob thing. In any case, you can always enable a recolor for EF by opening it in simPE, opening the Property Set and changing the “age” line from 0x00000048 to 0x00000058.

For day TWO of #Repostober, I'm migrating another Dragons Rising piece over from my Twitter - this one's Beatrix-themed! This was designed before we ever saw her onscreen; the unedited original writeup below the cut reflects that, but the TL;DR is that it was based pretty much entirely on her hair and makeup and also spite towards her actual outfit. Young lady, you're not taking over the merged realms dressed like that.

NO. 2 - BEATRIX

I, for one, welcome our new dragon empress, although I think ruling all of existence calls for a wardrobe update. Your realm is named Imperium, you go by Empress, and there's a huge statue of you in the box art background, but your cape barely hits your knees? Get serious. Imagine this as the coronation look to end all coronation looks.

This was initially inspired only by Beatrix's hair and makeup, which explains the evening gown and silk stole and train that dominate the look. I know her canon outfit is almost entirely black, but I adore the contrast between the very natural swoop of her hairstyle and the synthetic circuity motif in her makeup and knew I needed to work with that as my starting point. The gold mesh underskirt adds some extra glam and keeps the color scheme balanced.

We've established I'm disappointed with the canon cape, so I went ahead and gave this look an actually impressive cape attached to the stole and lined with a dark, glittery elongated hexagon pattern that lets the train of the gown itself shine. For some reason, the hexagons on Beatrix's uniform are elongated, while the general Imperium symbol is equilateral - not a clue why that is, but we're taking it as a fun bonus motif. This appears in the Rapton design, too!

A pair of gladiator-esque sandal heels with crescent supports act as another mirror to the makeup that inspired this design, as well as a slightly more reasonable - but equally badass - choice of footwear than the Rapton ensemble.

Inspired by the very first ultra-crunchy image of the Empress Mech set, no coronation look is complete without a dramatic scepter. The way my mannequin was set up didn't allow for the same hoop-and-blade structure as the set, so I went with a hexagonal hoop and massive floating gem surrounded by a field of chaotic neon energy that flows all the way to the floor. One statement earring carries the black hexagon motif to the blank space near the shoulder.

You may have noticed that there's no crown despite this being a regal look - that's because I also designed this to complement the hair and makeup it was inspired by. To lend the outfit some obnoxiously royal flair, I've added oversized ruby brooches in key points: connecting the stole and cape, on the shoes (including a dangling one under the skirt!) and collar, and at the base of the scepter piece. Like the Rapton undersuit, these stray from the black, ivory, and gold color scheme for a little extra depth.

im here to rant about how much i love the elite guard in tfa.

usually im more of a decepticon guy, but the elite guard was strangely compelling to me. i thought all the characters we only got glimpses or snippets were really interesting. i do wish we got to see more of them.

i just feel like we couldve gotten more interactions and dynamics between them. they all seem like they mesh together really well to me.

anyways this is an excuse for me to talk about my self indulgent poly ship. i usually call it the "jettwins parental unit". mostly because it started as the ship sentinel/jazz (who i headcanon raised the twins) and it just branched out from there. it includes many of the elite guard, plus optimus and ratchet, depending on the variant. (there are lots of variants because i cant decide on a set canon in tfa)

anyways the most interconnected part of the polycule is sentinel, jazz, optimus, ultra magnus, perceptor, cliffjumper, and longarm. it does brach out to other characters though. theres no way i can explain my choices briefly so you'll just have to take my word for it.

Thess vs Extreme Wealth

I was a kid in the 80s. I remember that time when wanting to be rich was about status symbols and flaunting one’s wealth. And, I mean, I’m sure there are some people out there who still see it that way - who want the big house, the fancy car, the unfeasibly gaudy deco, stuff like that. The sad thing is, though, that I think most of us my age or younger, if we want to be ‘rich’ at all, only want it because it would provide us a halfway decent quality of life.

Yes, I want bespoke tailored clothes. However, the status has nothing to do with it; I just want things that actually fit me, instead of being manufactured in a way that doesn’t really fit anybody except for one very specific body type, which I am decidedly not. I also want things made of decent materials so they don’t dissolve in the wash after about a month.

Yes, I want to pay someone to clean my living space. Again, though, status has nothing to do with it; it’s all about the disability. I just want things to still be clean even if I’m having a succession of bad pain days. I also want to pay someone to drive me places (though probably just taxis rather than owning a car or chauffeur), because public transport is a nightmare and I don’t trust my ability to drive a car any distance even with power steering. Pain, fatigue, and a chance of fibro fog probably doesn’t mesh overly well with any amount of traffic.

On the subject of disability, yes, I want to be able to afford to travel first or at least business class if I want or need to travel by air. Again, nothing to do with the status. I just want a seat I can stretch out in when I need to, because I’ve spent my life travelling in coach and it was uncomfortable enough before the fibromyalgia. Now that I need to change position fairly often because getting stiff means extra mega ultra pain, I can’t imagine flying coach and being capable of anything but curling up and crying on the other end.

I don’t want a big house; it’d be hell to move around in anyway. I want a flat not dissimilar to the one I’m in now. Maybe one other room, so I could have a guest room and a study / craft room. With a bigger balcony for more plants, and hopefully not north-facing so those plants could get more light. Also a decent-sized kitchen - not huge, just not smaller than the actual bathroom. Preferably pet friendly, since I’d be able to afford pet insurance. I just don’t want it to be in this country. Politics aside, it’s damn near impossible to find a pet-friendly flat or a decent-sized kitchen in this country unless you want a house, and sometimes not even then.

I mean, when you think about it, this is more or less basic stuff. Disability accommodation, decent clothes (because almost nothing we buy off the rack comes under that definition any more), a few small quality of life bits and pieces. I want to be able to grocery shop without panic attacks. I want to be able to just get a haircut when I decide I need one, not look at it and go, “Eh, I don’t look too much like a briard yet; it’ll keep another month”. I want to be able to get my eyes tested when I notice I’m having trouble focusing on fine print again, and not panic about the cost of the glasses. (Yeah, eye tests only cost £20-25, but it’s still a cost, and the optician generally pushes you to buy glasses from them, and I’m currently working on pushing back my anxiety to tell the optician, “I’d just like the prescription, please” so I can go to one of those places where you can get your glasses online for cheaper ... which is a whole other set of anxieties but never mind; I’m just not getting my mother to pay for the damn things again.) Hell, I want spare glasses.

The worst part is that things like this only seem possible these days if you’re really wealthy. Or maybe my view of what ‘wealthy’ means has changed. Because, I mean, if I was really wealthy? Like, lottery money wealthy? I’d have all of the above. My closest friends would not have debt or mortgages. I have charity-related ideas. I sure as hell wouldn’t just sit on it, or spend money on solid gold bathroom fixtures. I’d rather buy a painting from an artist just starting out than blow millions on a painting that will only further enrich an already rich person because the artist is already dead, just because it’s some kind of status symbol to be wealthy enough to afford it.

I guess the difference is that for me, money is a thing to use and circulate, to provide for people who are providing me goods and services. It’s not a way of keeping score. So I don’t get having more money than you can personally use and tucking it away so it generates more money by sitting there, instead of using what you can’t use for yourself to help others. Then again, given that we’ve established that having enough money to have some reasonable quality of life is a pipe dream for most of us, it’s probably not a surprise that I find the concept hard to grasp.

Anon, my dear, I am sooooo sorry it took me FOREVER and a day to respond to this ask! As much as I would like it I feel that would be a bit much for me to write a proper worthy fic! Such a fic would take a shit ton of planning and time and I already had some still in progress fics that have long been waiting to be updated! But your ask did make me wanna at least do a run through of which of our Paldea Pokémon would Ash have most likely gotten had he been able to hang out in Paldea! Let’s go through them one by one (or evolution group by group)! Some of my answers will be short one sentence stuff but others might be more wordy! Overall though it’s gonna come down to “can I picture him with one based on how well I’ve gotten to know him over the past 20 something years?”

I’m leaving out the four ruinous treasures Pokémon as they are considered legendaries and Ash doesn’t officially get the legendaries unless they are the “follow you from the start” ones like Nebby in Alola was for him. As for the Paradox Pokémon I was originally gonna include them (other than the legendary versions again) since I'd generally consider them to be similar to Ash's Poipole/Naganadel in being more special than other Pokemon but still fair game. However I thought it over more and considering the game emphasizes the whole "Paradox Pokemon will more than likely cause harm to the ecosystem as they are outside their own time period and so need to be kept in Area Zero where they and those around them will be safest" I think it'd be FAR more likely for them to be used in special episodes like the Ultra Beasts were treated in the Alola anime.

For the record my own opinions and biases are at play here! If anyone reading this has their own thoughts please share them!!! I definitely wanna know what others think on this!

Koraidon-Miraidon: Like I said earlier Ash doesn’t get the legendary unless they’re with you from the start and that’s the category the raidons fall under! I think either one could work well with Ash and while personally I would love Miraidon as that’s my baby I feel like Koraidon would probably mesh better with Ash’s vibes. I can actually imagine a storyline where both Professor Sada AND Professor Turo exist and are clashing with their ideals regarding past and future (so both kinds of Paradox Pokemon will be around to run amok). And while Ash gets one of the raidons as his buddy the other raidon (the alt one instead of a copy) can play as Ash’s raidon’s personal antagonist. How the relationship between the two raidons change over time would be interesting to see!

Sprigatito-Floragato-Meowscarda: The Galar anime brought an end to the tradition of Ash being guaranteed at least one of the starters. And before that Kalos broke the tradition of Ash for sure getting the grass starter. But I still feel like the Sprigatito line has the best chance of being part of Ash’s team of the starters. Is this partially fueled by how for every generation to date Ash and I have meshed on starter choices (yeah I guess that doesn’t mean much for the generations he got all three for BUT STILL!!!!) Plus I love the idea of Ash getting a Grass/Dark kitty to go with his Fire/Dark kitty Incineroar!

Fuecoco-Crocalor-Skeldirge: This friendly fella does have a fair chance, although I picture it following the same vein as Oshawott or Rowlet or Totodile before it.

Quaxly-Quaxwell-Quaquaval: Again, I can see it but in the sense of being treated like Oshawott, Rowlet, and Totodile were.

Lechonk-Oinkologne: Hmm, I can’t really see it.

Tarountula-Spidops: Really can’t see it.

Nymble-Lokix: You know, I can sorta picture it. Not one of those “oh yeah totally fits” ones but if it did happen in a canon setting I wouldn’t raise an eyebrow at it.

Pawmi-Pawmo-Pawmot: As much as I adore this line Ash NEVER gets the Pika clones since his main buddy is the original Pika pal!!!

Tandemaus-Maushold: Nah I don’t see it happening.

Fidough-Dachsbun: Listen I would LOVE if Ash got this line! My boy deserves an adorable puppy Pokemon okay? It would be the cutest shit imaginable and I would be all in for it! But in a canon setting I personally would be pleasantly surprised if he got one rather than thinking it’s one of those almost guarantees. But holy hell do I want a universe where this dream is real.

Smoliv-Dolliv-Arboliva: I find this to be an adorable little guy who evolves into an interesting guy but I don’t know I can’t exactly see Ash having one. But I can’t exactly give it a hard no either because Ash’s Sewaddle-Swadloon-Leavanny was one I didn’t think would work but ended up fitting more than I expected and the Smoliv line kinda is in that same category.

Squawkabilly: Don’t really see it.

Nacli-Naclstack-Garganacl: Originally I would’ve given this one a pass but I’ve kinda grown on the idea of Ash having one? I don’t know I guess it’s a step above my reasoning for the Nymble-Lokix line for some reason. Yeah, this is one of those “I can’t explain why but the idea is more interesting than expected” ones.

Charcadet-Armarouge-Ceruledge: FUCK YES! Please it would be a travesty if Ash didn’t get one okay? I actually have an idea that follows that plot that tends to get repeated of Ash taking in another trainer’s abused Pokemon. Ash taking in this poor little Charcadet that had been let down over and over by its previous trainer and slowly learns to find a new happier and healthier home with Ash and his friends. And as it grows stronger over time it also has to face up to those emotions it feels over what it went through with its old trainer. And trying to sort through those emotions and how it grows and accepts different aspects of itself and what happened to it and how it will live on comes together when it has to decide which armor it will wear, and thus whether it evolves into Armarouge or Ceruledge. And honestly I think good arguments can be made for it picking either evolution (Ceruledge is my baby so I want that option so badly) but I feel like Armarouge and everything that evolution stands for may ultimately be the one that it takes.

Tadbulb-Bellibolt: Another one of those “don’t picture it too well but wouldn’t be too surprised if it happened” ones.

Wattrel-Kilowattrel: This is a tough one in that Ash has a habit of getting a regional bird (though this tradition is not that set in stone but still happens). But Paldea doesn’t exactly have a true regional bird. The closest would probably be the Wattrel line. I don’t know I’m really fond of the idea of Ash getting one but I’m not as set on it as I expected to be.

Maschiff-Mabosstiff: I don’t think so. I mean a small part of me can picture it but for the most part I feel like this fella is way more associated with my guy Arven. And in this hypothetical anime with Ash I do indeed picture Arven in it and of course they’d give him Mabosstiff.

Shroodle-Grafaiai: I won’t give this one a hard no. I’m not sold in all the scenarios I’m picturing but I can warm up to the idea.

Bramblin-Brambleghast: Not really seeing it.

Toedscool-Toedscruel: Haha I live for the silly run this guy has in the game but no I don’t see Ash having his own.

Klawf: As much as I think this goofy fella is entertaining I don’t see one ever joining Ash’s squad.

Capsakid-Scovillain: I can’t imagine this spicy fella with Ash at all honestly!

Rellor-Rabsca: No I can’t see it.

Flittle-Espathra: I really like the evolution of this line but I just can’t see one meshing well with Ash. But part of me would want it to happen just to see how the anime would make it work!

Tinkatink-Tinkatuff-Tinkaton: Listen I’m surprisingly invested in the idea of Ash having one of these fellas on his team. Like it can be genuinely cute and cool and I actually like picturing Ash helping out Tinkatink with gaining bravery and confidence, and how that growth and bond between them affects each evolution.

Wiglett-Wugtrio: Nah, not at all 😂

Bombirdier: Not seeing this one either.

Finizen-Palafin: I’m more into this than I expected! I can’t say hard yes or hard no. But I like the idea of it and would wanna see how it would work in the anime.

Varoom-Revavroom: I don’t see it.

Cyclizar: I don’t see it. And it’s not just because I believe Ash would get one of the raidons, even if they didn’t exist I don’t see Ash clicking with a Cyclizar.

Orthworm: Gosh I love this silly looking guy so much but half the fun is when it’s that giant Titan sized one and unless Ash gets that giant goober what’s the point???

Glimmet-Glimmora: Another one I really don’t picture Ash having for his own.

Greavard-Houndstone: No I don’t see it. I actually picture this Pokémon to be more evolved in a special episode with Ryme that goes into her backstory rather than Ash getting one.

Flamigo: Gosh I want it. I find the idea so funny! And I think Ash could actually work well with one of these guys. Just….the idea of Ash going around with what is basically a fucking flamingo 😂😂😂

Cetoddle-Cetitan: This is yet another one of those 50/50 “can’t say yes for sure but can’t give it a firm no either” ones. I actually find the idea of Ash getting one cute!

Veluza: Don’t see it.

Dondozo: Another don’t see it.

Tatsugiri: And a third don’t see it, sadly!

Frigibax-Arctibax-Baxcalibur: This is an odd one in that you can make a fair argument in either direction and I’d probably say “yeah I get it” every time.

Gimmighoul-Gholdengo: Ahhh this oddball. Yeah sorry, I cannot imagine it in the slightest.

Annihilape: This is one where it’d be nice to have Ash’s Primeape make a comeback for a potential evolution into Annihilape! And you know what it can be a fun episode of character growth of Primeape centering on whether or not it WILL evolve and what that means for it and its character and all the training it has done so far and will continue to do. Plus I love me those good old evolution drama episodes they make for some good character stuff!

Paldean Wooper-Clodsire: I adore this adorably cuddly fella so much!!!! But hmm I just can’t imagine Ash with one. Like I try to picture it and it just doesn’t come through.

Farigiraf: Not really. I never really could picture Ash with a Girafarig to begin with, so it hasn’t really changed with the evolution.

Dudunsparce: Nah, I don’t see it. I can imagine it showing up in a couple joke episodes though!

Kingambit: You know I like the idea of it. Ash finding a small Pawniard who so desperately wants to become strong but is a tiny fella always pushed around. And Ash helps it to train and prove itself to the other Pawniards. And by the end it proves it has grown but knows it needs to explore more to gain more strength and improve. And how better to do that than by joining up with Ash in his journey to ever grow and improve as a Pokémon Master in the making! And we get to watch the little guy grow over several episodes into Bisharp and finally Kingambit.

Paldean Tauros: You know what I was originally gonna say no because Ash already has his herd of 30 Kantonian Tauros. But I started imagining a fun episode where maybe Ash runs into a Paldean Tauros that, for some reason, doesn’t have its own herd and is having difficulty integrating with another. Maybe Ash tries to help this Tauros bond with various herds over the episode but all failing while also he himself bonds with the Tauros. And maybe Ash at the end is like hey I have a bunch of Tauros of my own and they’re a great bunch would you like to join? And Ash has this Paldean Tauros meet his own 30 Kantonian Tauros and at first it’s like “oh Paldean Tauros has already been rejected so many times what if it happens again?” But then the Tauros happily let the Paldean Tauros join the herd. And fuck man now I’m invested in this 🥹

And yup, that’s all my thoughts on which of the Paldean Pokemon Ash would likely get if we did get a Paldea anime with him!

Yeah I know like 99% of my “no” choices basically just came down to me being unable to imagine Ash with that Pokemon 😅 But I did say my opinions would A) basically come down to that and B) be biased because how can it not be? But like I said earlier I would LOVE to hear any other thoughts, both from those who agree or those who disagree. Whatever, I’m game! It’s a fun little thought exercise, right?

There is a redemption arch I have planned for him which works him into his video game persona, which is has grown him into his rival - then into friend; but at the moment he’s still a selfish jerk...

Any who the first post will be text and the next chapter of the story, and I will slowly weed myself back into the art post.

I am so happy to say that I’m about to fulfill a teenage dream of mine: I AM GOING TO TOMORROWLAND IN 2024!!!

I know that this might not seem like that much big of a deal, but I’ve loved EDM music since I was 11 years old, I am so glad to live in the USA now because I get to experience going to raves and dressing up without being judged, trading kandi, and the PLUR community, which is something that does not happen in Brazil at all.

PC fan has been acting up again and making grinding noises. Especially for some programs/games more than others. You'd think my editing program would set it off the most with how hot everything has to run, but Honkai so far is the worst offender.

I know exactly what fan it is (and thankfully it's not in my graphics card), but it's still a CPU fan which makes it a pain in the ass. It also goes back to normal if i apply a little pressure to even just the outside of the case?? (Like if I rest my foot on the case - which I've had to do mid-stream to get it to stop sometimes). I've pretty thoroughly dusted it multiple times too, so it could have to do with a bearing inside the fan itself.

But even that's odd, because when I apply pressure to the external case at a specific spot, it stops. And there's a several millimeter gap between the top "mesh" of the case, the mesh of the fan box specifically, and then the fans themselves. So you'd think if it was a bearing (which is inside the fan itself), why would pressure applied to the outer case only (that I doubt even touches the fan box protector) cause the grinding noise to stop?

So far, it doesn't seem like a loose bolt either, as touching them individually does nothing.

I've seen some suggestions to tighten or loosen the bolts, as apparently my case may be slightly warped and impacting the way one of my fans spins? Even though it doesn't really look that way.

The vast majority of the time my fans are just fine too. It really only starts to act up when I play Honkai: Star Rail. As I assume that game requires my fans to spin ultra fast after a while.

Idk, if anyone has any thoughts, feel free to comment something. I'm willing to try and loosen the fan box itself, but I don't know if that'll change anything.

Since you'd think if it really was a bad or dry bearing, it'd make that noise all of the time??

Genuinely this has been the most frustrating PC I've ever owned. It runs stuff amazingly well most of the time, but I feel like I need to do some sort of maintenance every month or so. Did Corsair's stuff go down in quality, or am I just really unlucky???

A few years ago I was working on Sora's conversion to have him in our sims game (from @lea-heartscxiv and me), but we never shared our conversion of his Custom Content. But after several years we decide to share with you Sora's CC along with Kingdom Key L/D accessory and poses.

By the way, in the future when I have shared more KH characters, I will share my own version of their eyes, in default, detail skin and make up version. What is kief?

While pulverizing your marijuana, these trichomes are inevitably set loose from the buds and then fall into the collector below through the mesh screen of your grinder.
