yn/reader: so there are some hats that have a little veil attached to them called mosquito hats (learned this after searching sun hats once) and I figured that'd probably be something we'd wear out in the jungle!

SJ eclipse/Vinicius: remember how when sj eclipse dies, one of his optics are very damaged? I decided to make that a part of my version of vinicius's design by giving him a scar on his left eye >:]

SJ moon/Meztli: attached to his hood is an appendage on the back of his head, similar to a tail, and at the end of it there is something like a rattlesnakes rattle!

CS Eclipse/Tlhoolcha: Hes gor two hoods! One of them is bigger and almost always hanging, and he often uses it to cover his face, especially when its dark and when hes guiding us back to safety so you dont see what he looks like and what he is (I headcanon that we do know he is a naga, we just dont want to spoil it for him). He is also a big sweetie (at least compared to the others not including meztli and helio) and he calls us heart, so I decided to give him a heart on his chest <3

SID Eclipse Sun and Moon/Saulo Inacio and Luan: Saulo doesnt have many scars as I headcanon that he doesnt get inro fights that often, but! What happened to his hood, why is a whole chink of it ripped off? Oh well, same reason why Inacio is missing a chunk of his, and why Luan once had two of what Meztli has but doesnt have either! They got into a (un)friendly little fight UwU

DE Eclipse/Jacare: so um (stares at the more detail I put into him) its uh totes clear that hes my least favorite, yeah? Yeah? Hey wait guys no where are you going I have actual design notes for him I swear- So I feel like he'd be very eager to show off certain things hes gained from his hunts, so I decided that man wears jewelry made of bones of his kills, most of them being from tougher, bigger, and/or more sentient creatures. And he wears one very sharp one of his tail with a ribbon wrapped around the base of it and his tail to keep it on

Well okay i am not OBSESSED with them, but i do think they have their appeal. Hereeeee we go!

-Tim is definitely a very "jokes" kind of flirt. Elias doesn't look like he is. But oh boy can he match that energy. I think he might be able to fluster tim SERIOUSLY if he plays his cards right and doesn't reveal himself too soon

-I don't see them really dating seriously? Or at least they never get married. Yes you can sleep at my house yes I'll defend you with my life don't you dare put yourself as taken on facebook though

-And I think that's more a Tim thing than an Elias thing. I mean, Jonah is from the 19th century, weddings are kind of the epitome of a "relationship" to him. I think he's wanted to marry his past lovers very badly on occasion but never could. Wants to make up for it now.

-Tim definitely has the potential to bring Elias back to the light side of the force (assuming he was even there lmao) or at least make him somewhat more decent, but Elias 100% has the potential to make Tim into a rich kid. He'd take him to fancy restaurants and have a driver drive them around and before he knows it Tim is addicted to it. Same for clothing, Elias' eccentric style tends to stain everyone he touches. Anyways what i'm getting at is I do think Tim grew up rather well off but if he ever spends too much time with Elias I'm afraid he starts to look down on people who don't assort their socks with their outfit

-and don't get me wrong, he still wears patterned shirts and flip flops to work. He just. He accessorizes.

-i do think they're roughly the same size. This leads to very funny shenanigans where Tim steals Elias' beautiful soft night robe and facetimes all of his colleagues with it. Elias tries to marry him so they can dramatically divorce like he's used to. Tim refuses. It starts a fight.

-Oh, the fights. I do think they fight often, over absolutely insignificant things. That's how they show love. By screaming at each other. Elias got Tim into dramatically shattering fine china* and turns out he's rather good at it

-polyam 4 polyam rights. The two of them have like 18 other people in their poly circle

-Tim is definitely weirded out by the idea of dating someone 200 years older than him at first. He does get used to it, but he NEVER stops cracking jokes about it

-Trying to embarrass Elias is kind of his hobby. But Elias has an excellent poker face and is also kind of a shameless whore, so it doesn't work often

-Who kisses the other first? Definitely Tim. I donnt think Elias would be intimidated or oblivious, but I think he's patient in regards to that and it's funnier for him to let his love interest make the first move (assuming they're the kind of person who has the self esteem to do that, and Tim definitely does)

-Simon Fairchild is Peter Lukas' sugar daddy, who's Elias' sugar daddy, who's Tim sugar daddy. Such a big family you have Mr Fairchild you can be proud of yourself

I've seen a lot of people talk about the parallels in The Owl house, such as:

Lumity and Raeda dancing as a a fight strategy:

Eda/Willow protecting their loved ones, and them being used as a shield:

Which is cool actually, it's really cute that this people are all connected in some way, and that's what I'm trying to say.

I've heard a lot of people joke about how Huntlow are always parallerising the other couples, and the popular headcanon is that Hunter falling in love with Willow is a parallerism to Caleb falling for Evelyn, which is true and obvious, BUT, I've also heard people saying that Lumity is the real parallerism because it's literally a human who prefers the Demon Realm falling in love with a witch, and you know what? That is also true! But wht nobody says is that Raine and Eda are also a parallerism! Hunter falling for Willow mimics the love that Caleb felt gor Evelyn, while Edalyn, possible descendant of Evelyn, falling for Raine mimics the love that Evelyn felt for Caleb!

So this is the point: all three main ships aren't parallerising each other, but Caleb and Evelyn! What if they had their own dance/fight scene? What if someone used Caleb (or even their child) as a shield toward Evelyn? And of course, they totally had a "dying in your arms tonight" scene.

So it's like this:

Raeda: Have Evelyn's descendant, so a piece of her love is with them.

Huntlow: have Caleb's grimwalker, so (a part of him and) a piece of his love is with them.

Lumity: it's the pure expression and representation of their love, being the same kind.

We don't know a lot about Evelyn, we learned her name a month ago, so we can't talk about her relationship with Caleb, we know about Caleb seeing her as someone new, someone warm and free who teached him how to live without the limitations of the 1600's (which is the same as Hunter falling for the sweet and strong spirit of Willow, who teached him about the wonders of the normal life of teenagers), so we could guess that something similar happened with Evelyn and Raeda, Eda was a free spirit... And a wild one, wild enough to brake stimming toys, and Raine was calm, and helped her focus, what if Caleb did the same with Evelyn?

Caleb: I can fix her...

Evelyn: I can make him worse...

And they both succeded.

Which is the opposite with Lumity, in their case, the human was the wild spirit one and the witch was the uptight one.

Long story short: this could mean that their love is so strong and important that is eternal and keep affecting the story after 400 years.

To anyone reading this

I don't know what truly happened because the situation is extremely weird. To explain it a bit, the whole thing started with my Levi x Oc art that probably if you're reading this, you follow me and therefore had seen that art. It was label as mature and I don't truly understand why, despite that, it was flagged. But then over 10 reports of my content added in... from posts that weren't EVEN mine. They were from moots of me, from memes with the word "D*ck" on it or Levi art with him LAYING on the GROUND WITH CLOTHES WHICH had NOTHING of explicit on it. All of them from moots of mine. Because, as you may know, I don't do many "Explicit content" and I bet who ever was doing this didn't have much to report. The weird thing, all this posts, except from my art (the only one that was truly mine), were from other blogs. I'm not mad at my moots AT ALL, I don't want this to look like that. But it's obvious that who ever decided to report all those blogs had no intentions to truly report the original art but MY account. I don't know what to say, I've been talking to other people who got their blogs flagged and some NEVER gor their accounts back and others took months for them to get them. I don't know who could have done this and less I understand why. I had always tried to make my blog a safe space for those who came. I always wanted to make sure that each person who decided to interact with me or my content to get a interaction that made them feel I had all the time of the world to be with them and share with them in that moment.

I'm so sad. I was only a few followers away from 2k and I was already planning the event. I know all of you had been waiting for me to bring back my "Levi takes over my blog and answers your questions," specially now that I was mastering my sketchy art style. I was working on the pfp, cover and color pallette to make it look Levi was the owner of the blog, etc. I was even making time and advancing work to have time for the event and now.... I don't even know if I'll get my account back. I wanted to make time for it to make it longer so all who didn't have the chance to ask the previous time would have it now. I had always kept in mind that I don't know what someone else is going through and maybe getting a reply from me or me filling up their headcanons would make their day a bit brighter for a second. So, despite all this or whatever, if the person who decided to report my account and etc. was at some degree angry or offended by me. Yessssssss I love this era so much, I need to rewatch it tbh.

Barbara and Ian mean SO much to me they are amazing as companions but also amazing as the FIRST companions. They have such an effect on the Doctor and like. In my opinion they are the reason he grew to like earth so much. They made him who he is.

Ben and Polly are also so good (currently rewatching the second doctors era and having FEELINGS about them). They've gor such a good dynamic with each other and also with both Doctors they travel with and especially with the next companion (who's first episode is ENTIRELY MISSING but is worth seeing/listening to the reconstructions). I am holding Ben and Polly so carefully and I have a NUMBER of post Doctor headcanons for them.

And like yeah, the way the Doctor is always consistant despite being so different with every version. It's so good (and also partly why I struggle with 13's run, she's MISSING that Doctor Element imo. Still haven't quite pinned down what it is. Maybe that sense of always being/needing to be two steps ahead of everyone)

Also if you want to watch/listen to the missing episodes, Daily Motion has most of them, and often with subtitles filling in the gaps as to what's happening! It is worth doing for a lot of the stories. (I suggest Highlanders and the Macra terror are worth braving the recontructuons in 2's era.)

Alright! Finished the First Doctor’s era (as is available on Tubi)! Here are a few of my highlights/thoughts:

Gotta love Barbara and Ian. They’re gems. They’re stars. They are included when the Daleks say “It is our greatest enemies.” Genuinely amazing first companions.

I wish I had actually seen Vicki and Steven’s departures, as well as Dodo’s introduction. It’s a shame the BBC is the way it is. (I will consider finding the audios in the future.)

I am instantly vibing so hard with Ben and Polly though. (“Duchess.” “Love.” “That bird saved my life.” I’m going to SCREAM.)

The Gunslingers was probably my favourite serial. Top tier comedy. 10/10. (Other strong contenders are The Chase and The Aztecs.)

The First Doctor’s best quality IS his giggle. “Hm hm! Heehee! Hoohoo!” Sir, I would die for you.

Even with so much Doctor Who history still to come between Hartnell’s era and the 2005 reboot I fell in love with, it’s SO cool seeing those aspects of the character that have survived (or were resurrected) since the beginning. (Something like River Song meeting The Doctor in series 4 and looking for aspects of The Doctor she knows in the man who came before him; a timey-wimey introduction.)

your thoughts on gorons being frustrated with Hylians has me thinking about the explicit dynamic they invariably develop with link; like even in the games where they have a very stand-offish relationship to Hylians, they vibe VERY quickly with link and hit it off with him really well so i think there's something very nice in how Link could be seen as being a very refreshing personality or similar to them in a way they can relate to.

also its kind of funny that the LOZ fandom as a whole tends to treat Darunia as this big, fun party guy and big brother figure when he's actually kind of a hardass, so you get a bit of an impression that his behavior to Link is the result of some execeptional circumstances, but he's a lot more serious than what he was built up by fan interpretation or nostalgia over the years?

Honestly the impression I got of Darunia was actually sort of a cheeky prankster? Not that he isn't taking things seriously, but like. when you first talk to him and he's in a terrible mood, the list he rattles out is fairly comprehensive and intensive- he comes off believably like a community leader who has a lot to think about.

The scene post-Dodongo's Cavern also has him sneaking up on Link by dropping on him from above, which, considering he had several other gorons ALSO waiting to drop above makes it seem like more than a bit of a setup / deliberate, and when he's rough with Link, it's conveniently in a way that a scrappy hylian child can handle unharmed. The "how about a nice Goron hug, brother? :D" feels like a group of people gently, affectionately hazing their newest 'little brother'.

It's also in contrast to, like. Darunia in just about every other conversation you have with him is shown to be canny and reliable. The Bolero of Fire, which is associated with Darunia's temple, is one Sheik describes in terms of loyalty and solidarity. Loyalty that comes from an idiot who doesn't know better, or a person who's so good-natured they give it away cheaply, is basically meaningless. By default, 'meaningful' loyalty has to come from someone who has standards; it means something that they chose to stand by this.

The gorons... I guess a semi-related side headcanon I tend to have about them is that because they're a bunch of super-strong, long-lived beings, they kind of have to be a given level of, not necessarily formal, but scrupled in how they deal with each other? A goron with a grudge can cause immense damage to the infrastructure, the city, and each other. In a society of supermen, things don't average out to "normal", they become actually pretty dangerous. Especially when you consider the priority many gorons, throughout the continuities, place on martial strength, whether that's more serious (Gor Coron's sumo duel in Twilight Princess) or sillier (GUT CHEEEEEECK)

So like. you've got a society of nearly-needless, nearly-indestructible people living together in an environment where everybody's gonna be stuck with everybody for the next several centuries. Similarly, I've always felt like there's some politics to how and in what ways the gorons use the term 'brother'. It's not just a friendly address; it's certainly, as you say, often a gesture of respect to Link, that gorons who are feeling warmer or more disposed to him start to refer to him with 'brother'- but there's also, a very specific moment in Twilight Princess where an entire room full of gorons are about to attack Link, and Gor Coron stops them immediately, and tells them that all of them do not need to attack him at once, "little brothers."

It immediately verbally places Gor Coron on the pecking order. Likewise, we see younger gorons referring to their fathers, but father-son bonds seem to be the only kind of familial relation the gorons have, and they don't seem to reproduce like hylians. There's not really distinct Men and Women that we can see; gorons are just gorons. Their use of masculine terms may even be an imperfect translation as they're speaking Hylian when we encounter them- I'd imagine gorons speaking the gerudo language would probably use the 'vai' terms since that's considered the standard unit of personhood.

Basically, I think that "brother" is not just a casual term of belonging, but an expression of the ethos of the gorons overall; any particular group of gorons is a pseudofamilial unit to which one is in a system of brothers, younger and older, and- for the most extreme cases of tutelage or superiority- fathers and sons.

I guess I like the idea that the gorons have a superficially simple impression, but, just like stones, their history is deep, vast, and extremely complex. The average rock scooped up off the ground doesn't look like much, but it might be a remnant of a former glacial ice age. To people who don't know much about rocks, we can take them for granted; the more casual geology you know, however, the more you realize this ostensibly simple, stupid, unrefined world glimmers with context.

And, because the gorons are a bit more active about it than 'mere ordinary rocks', we often get glimpses of the sophistication of their society without much elaboration. They're casually insinuated or interpreted as idiots all the time, but I'd love to see a take on Death Mountain that really hammers home besides aesthetic metal-and-mine that the gorons seem to be living in the industrial age compared to the rest of Hyrule's pseudo-medieval nature. Show me a goron city that comes off like, say, Iron Town from Princess Mononoke- entire buildings dedicated to blast furnaces and modern-looking foundries.

Heck, even that threads into the concept of loyalty to the Gorons- and that along with the gerudo, they're heavily associated with Din, goddess of power, as practically elemental spirits of fire and stone. Because by all accounts, with their massive advantages and superior technology... the gorons should have been able to level Hyrule and conquer it for themselves. Yet, despite this and their extremely martial culture, the gorons are remembered peacefully by Hyrule. Death Mountain's eruption is a hypothetical doomsday scenario, even though it's likely previous eruptions of this ancient mountain probably created the 'green fields of Hyrule' by laying volcanic soil in a bygone era.

It's like Hyrule, and its people, forget that the gorons are capable of destroying them- that their mountain earns its name as a pillar of great death. But I don't think the gorons are clueless about this at all- they can't. They regularly, often, live and work alongside Hylians with bodies and muscles that could rip a Hylian to pieces. Darunia can pat Link's head and bully him a little by making his knees give out but the kid still comes out of it harried rather than concussed.

It makes me think about a bit of lore from the game Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, where the setting's dwarf-equivalents, the Lilties, are peaceful people in the timeline of the story but live in the shadow of an ancient conquest and empire that they later abandoned, to the point that one level of the game is exploring their great mine, which was abandoned when its supply of iron was exhausted.

Darunia, to me, warms to Link quickly, but it's not really until he sees adult Link in the fire temple, and nods, and says that he means to speak to Link man-to-man, that it feels like he actually 'respects' Link. Before that, it comes off more "haha, look at that plucky squirt go! I like your style, funky little man! here, take this wrist brace so you don't hurt yourself having fun out there."

Which... who knows? The gorons may relish Link's existence as a hylian they don't have to 'go easy on' and can thus trust with matters of slightly more gravity.

For the anon talking about how they hate how over exaggerated a character is. I am not trying to start hate or anything, but if you don't like the way how someone portrays the character, just stop reading it. Some people don't delve deep, they just want to write fanfics for fun they're not going to make sure it's 100% the characters VERY complex personalities. Or the way how they view a character is different from their beliefs. I've gotten this message before and I am TIRED of it

I think it's a good time to talk about this because I've been thinking about bringing the topic up for a while. To begin with, let's clear something between the two anons because I think it's a misunderstanding:

Anon A is saying that they're sometimes bothered by how some fanfics and Aus have a different way of picturing character X, in other words, they don't really enjoy it when a character is bring mischaracterized

Anon B (this anon) is saying that if you're bothered by a fic because you don't like how they're characterizing an specific character, then you don't have to read it.

Let me say that both of these anons are right, yet to think that their ideas are the opposites of each other, is totally wrong. In other words they both have a point, but I guess their points needs a stronger a better way of being explained in order to avoid any further dramas and misunderstandings.

Why am I doing this? Because I've seen -enough- of it. After the twst character analyses, aruges toward the mischaracterizations in this fandom became a thing, it's been causing some issues and arguments between the fans and it's mainly because of how sides fails to explain their points clearly.

Though I didn't really receive any rude asks/comments regarding myself the matter I can still how some fans feel attacked, offended or called out by character analysis posts or have the NERVE to attack or offend others with their own perspective on characters and try to force others into accepting them.

Enough with drama, I'm sick of it. I'm going to explain this as clearly as I can, hopeful that this would at least lessen the chance of having to go through another drama regarding the mischaracterization issue.

1) The concept of FANfiction

First off, the fanfiction itself; what is a fanfiction? What type of writing is considered to be a fanfic? What is it even used for? These are the questions we all need to answer before getting to know the world of fanfic.

Just as its name explains, it's fan + fiction. It's the result of the fan's creativity and imagination taking place in a fictional plot, something that hasn't happened with the original characters and he original story. The fans' imagination is often far beyond the plot which the original story/series/book offers, yet this isn't going to hold fans back from imagining it. Fanfiction is the way of giving yourself (or others) the specific and plot with the original and canon version isn't going to give you, in other words it's a way of getting what you wish to see through a story but this time, it's you who'd decide what will happen.

You are the one who decides how characters will be, you are the one who decides how and where this story happens and you are the one to choose how this story must come to an end. It's all about your own imagination and creativity, which enables you to have power over everything about your own story and fanfiction, everything (In expection gor than legal issues including claiming the original character as yours). You have the power, and you choose how it should be.

2) Fanfiction and mischaracterization

This was mainly the most brought up issue in the recent Twst drama, mischaracterization through writings. Many were saying how they find this annoying and nerve-wrecking, but no one really talked about how mischaracterization comes to life.

Let me tell you, as long your writing is a fanfic, there is a 70% chance of mischaracterizing the plot or the characters and there's nothing wrong with it, that's just how fanfiction works! It isn't supposed to be canon, it is fanon and only fanon. Everything that happens is fictional and fanon based, in other words, it's the fan who decides what should happen in a fanfiction and how it's supposed to be!

One of the Fanfiction's best purposes is giving the fandom a chance to mischaracterize! To write the characters the way they wish them to be and not necessarily the way they truly are. Fanfiction allows us to imagine and create something that isn't true, so let me clear my point here: It's totally okay to change the characters' personalities in your fanfics! As the writer, you have the right to do so, and since writing a fanfic must be for your own pleasure in the first place, no one can stop you from imagining whatever you want! No one can jump out and say stuff like "YOU CAN'T MISCHARACERTIZE A CHARACTER IN A FANFICTION" because that'd be super lame. It's your own fanfiction, your story, your creation and you're free to mischaracterize if that's how you like it to be! And if anyone doesn't like that, remember that they don't have to read that.

3)What is the problem?

Look, we've been going through some drama because of the recent character analyses of twst fandom, and I'd like to explain why. First off, note that I think both sides of the argument have been wrong and I'm going to talk about both of them.

Let me begin with a small example: It's been argued that based to what we've seen from Leona's personality so far, he doesn't seem to be the type to love healthily or even easily fall for anyone. Some of the fans seemed to be offended by the statement and said that "They still want their Leona fluff no matter what everyone else says" okay okay, this is the problem I was talking about: Saying that canon Leona doesn't seem to be much of a fluffy lion or a sweet lover isn't equal to forbidding the fans from writing fluffs for him or picturing him as a adorable and gentle lover! No one has the right to hold fans back from appreciating and enjoying what they like! But it's important to know what exactly is happening.

I'll talk about some crucial points you need to know about character analyses and how it's different from a fanfic in part (4), but before that, let me continue to give some examples of the recent argues and how each of the sides were wrong.

A) You enjoy reading fluffy Malleus content but character analyses have been saying that he isn't as soft and cute as you'd expected him to be. Does this mean that you can no longer ask for wholesome Malleus content or enjoy reading them? -> Of course not! You're still free to read/imagine/write whatever you like with Malleus! No one has the right to tell you what to do, and character analyses aren't meant to be a way to hold you back from enjoying what you like! If you're enjoying something, go for it! In this fanon world no one can accuse you for not following the canon interpretations!

B) You've spent a rather long time getting to know Ace and his canon personality, and you really like the way he is! But by reading fanfics/ fandom's interpretations on him you can't help but to feel like they aren't giving his personality the justice he deserves, and aren't seeing the great and amazing character he truly is. Is it okay to feel upset about this? -> Just as I said, it's totally fine to have your personal interpretations of a character no matter how different the rest of the interpretations are! But the real question is: what should you do when you think fandom isn't doing a character justice? This would be answered in part D!

C) You are enjoying your personal ideas and headcanons with Idia and many are saying that your way of picturing him is so adorable! Does this necessarily mean that the canon Idia as well is like you describe him? -> Absolutely not! No matter how adorable an Au/headcanon is, everyone's free to enjoy it but you should remember that canon ≠ fanon. You are totally free to imagine whatever you'd like! But keep this in mind that you shouldn't insist on your ideas being necessarily canon!

D) You feel like many are mischaracterizing your favorite character and you don't like it, what should you do? -> Well to begin with, remember that other fans have the right to characterize a character just as much as you do! You can't stop them from doing what they like or expect them to change the way they are because of how different the canon interpretation of a character might be. But you as well have a great chance to inspire the fandom by your own ideas! You can try to discuss how different the canon personality of your favorite character is and even try to turn that into a character analysis! This way you'd not only avoid causing any drama because of disagreeing with someone's way of picturing your favorite character, but you will also have a chance to present your personal ideas and characterizations to the fandom in a friendly and polite way!

E) You don't like how an author is characterizing some of the boys, what should you do? -> Easy solution, don't read it. Let me tell you, I have gone through this a lot and do you know what I do whenever I read/see something that doesn't match my tastes and expectations? I keep scrolling! That's all, I don't have to like it, but I don't have to read it either! 😀

F) You're an author and a writing request is asking you to write for a character in a way you just can't or don't want to write because that goes totally against your idealistics and ideas on a character, for example: You just can't write something really wholesome and fluffy for Leona because you can't imagine him being like that, what should you do? -> It's obvious, then don't write it! You have the right to choose what you'd like to write and how you like to picture a character no matter what others think. If you want to picture Leona as an emotional and soft boy, it's totally okay! If you want to picture him as a cold-hearted and mean prince, again it's totally alright! Remember, just like fans you have the right to picture and characterize the characters the way you want to, and no one can tell you otherwise!

G) You've read a character analysis and you realize that you've been mischaracterizing Floyd for a while, should you feel bad or sorry about it? -> Of course not!! Even if you were mischaracterizing him, keep this mind that there's nothing wrong with picturing Floyd as the way you want him to be! As long as you don't claim your headcanons to be canon and share stuff like "Canon from is definitely like this" or "Floyd would do that, canon! ^-^" it's totally alright to imagine him the way you like!

H) You saw someone saying something about Malleus that didn't match the canon interpretations of him. You quickly replied to then and corrected them about their wrong point of view and tell them how the real Malleus is, which kinda led to and argument between you and the person, did you do the right thing? -> Absolutely not! Attacking others out of nowhere and without any context isn't the right way of introducing the canon characterizations to the fandom! Even if you were right, keep this in mind that the other person has the right to picture Malleus or any other character the way they want them to be so if you want to correct them or try to get to know the canon character interpretations, you should do that from the logical and polite way.

I) Someone wrote a character analysis for Idia and said how they find it so annoying when people who refer to Idia as "Baby" and "uwu beanie". You often refer to Idia as baby or cutie yourself and the context of that analysis/general post some how got to you. You feel lowkey attacked and offended, did the original poster say the right thing? -> No, matter what the context is or how accurate and well-written that analysis was, directly calling people who have a certain way of picturing a character "Annoying" is rude no matter how you think of it. Even if the original poster were right about Idia not being UWU, their way of wording their sentence wasn't really pleasant; keep this, in mind that everyone in the fandom is free to picture Idia as they like and it doesn't even matter if you don't like it or not! If you're going to write an analysis/essay regarding a character's personality, remember that you should prove your point and disagree with opposite opinions through logical reasoning and explaining your point, NOT by offending and attacking other ideas by savage contexts like "You have to stop saying that Idia is like this", "I hate it when people say Idia is like this", " It's so annoying to see people saying Idia is like this... "

4) What's with the character analyses then?

There's a difference from the canon and fanon interpretations of a character, this is a truth which cannot be denied. But it's important to remember that just because a canon interpretation of a character exists, you can no longer enjoy the fanon interpretations!

Even I, for example, enjoy picturing someone like Malleus as an purely evil being like Maleficent herself because I enjoy seeing him as a perfect figure for "Mister of all Evil", but in my Malleus analysis post I explained how we should NOT think that Malleus is nothing but pure evil or a heartless monster! See, this is the difference I've been talking about. I'm pretty well-familiar with the canon Malleus, but I'm also enjoying the my own fanon Malleus and I know that the Evil Malleus I admire is a fanon one, not the canon one!

The thing is, character analyses aren't meant to be a way to hold anyone back from enjoying their fanon interpretations or imagining what they like, they aren't call out posts either. They are simply a way of getting to know the characters as if you're getting to know one of your irl friends. You come to think of them, see how deep their personalities are and get to learn more about them!

It's true that reading a character analysis might make you realize that you've been somehow mischaracterizing a character but this, isn't anything to be sorry or frustrated about! Character analyses are written to learn us more about our favorite characters, or as I like to name it, they want to show us that they're a lot more that we may imagine them to be!

Now, you may wonder how can we write a good character analysis without getting out of the line, offending anyone or giving out any cheap information?

I, personally, am pretty strict when asked to do a character analysis. Doesn't matter if I like the character or not, I'd try to judge them nonetheless. You HAVE to talk about both good features and bad features, and you must strictly avoid your analysis from getting personal; you have to make sure that your personal thoughts, feelings and emotions regarding a character aren't effecting your analysis. You shouldn't be writing it in a way to show off with your analytical ideas either.

Some people think coming off as rude would make them sound valid and acceptable, or they might just be used to being a little offensive in general, but as I explained in part 3-I, I won't recommend using any harsh or mean languages at all. Let me note that your way of wording your ideas is crazily important and if you're not careful enough with what you say and how you describe your ideas, your post would be not only be not much helpful as an analysis but also a cause of more drama and arguments. Also, keep this in mind that even the best of character analyses can't totally catch the characters' personalities correctly because we do not own them! Twisted wonderland's characters are a property of aniplex and neither me not anyone else in this fandom has the right to claim what a character is 100% like unless Disney officially releases those details!

Writing character analyses can be hard, from finding enough of hints to defend your point to choosing the right Grammer and way of speaking to avoid any further misunderstandings. But remember, those who write character analyses have no right to attack anyone because of them (They can oppose to different opinions of course, opposing ≠ attacking ), but keep this in mind that readers have no right to attack then because of their analysis either! See, that's a two-sided relationship. Both of the, sides have to learn to respect, both of the sides should, know, their boundaries and both of the sides have to be respectful!

Warning: When I say you're free to do or imagine whatever you wish to do, know that posting and sharing writings too has its own rules. Make sure to put the proper warnings, and avoid using any taboo or clearly impolite and sometimes, illegal concepts such as incest, pedophilia, etc.

I actually had a lot more I wanted to say regarding the matter but I'm keeping it short, because I know that writing too much would make this boring and pretty hard to read. Hope that it's clear enough and avoid the possible future misunderstandings and arguments regarding the matter. Please, this isn't even about twst, it's about learning to respect each other it's about real life. Having people read THIS is a lot more important than having them read my character analyses or writings.

I feel like aro!Tim is a nice fit in general, and I know 162 seems to confirm that he was utterly gone for Sasha, and I totally get why the tim/sasha went OFF THE ROOF because, hell yeah, but, as I was discussing with @dathen yesterday (who’s always awesome when it comes to discussing those headcanons), I would particularly enjoy to read Tim as someone who hold on to the fantasy of the Happy Ending. Especially Tim who, after he lost his brother, the one person he cared the most for in this world, finds Sasha, who he gets along with SO WELL. And you might be the most aware guy in the world, you still live in a society that constantly tells you, through your family/friends/tv shows/books/etc. that Sasha, for Tim, is The One. 

Of course girls and boys can be friends, Tim will say, offended you may think otherwise, but it’s different with Sasha right? He’s had girl friends before. Hell, he probably had girlfriends. But Sasha’s different. What they have it’s such a deep emotional connection (--and it reminds him of Danny, but of course it’s different, right? Cause Sasha and him are not related, and well, what else can it be than a romantic connection?) 

And so he doesn’t push Sasha, cause he loves their friendship, but he does, deep down, think that it’s just. They fit. If they were in any kind of story, they’d be the endgame couple. Who else could they end up with???

(”Have you considered there’s no need to end up with anyone?” Sasha asks one night they’re very drunk, a bit sour. “Like, Tim, wake up, we’re already together, aren’t we?”

“You’re just not there yet,” he mumbles, wisely, to himself, and she huffs and gets up and says “that’s incredibly condescending.”

“Sash, I didn’t mean -”

“You know, maybe you’re the one who’s just not getting it.”

And they don’t argue but Sasha sleeps on the bed and Tim knows better than to join her there, and he imagines them in three years, and surely in three years, they’ll fall asleep together, and they’ll wake up and they kiss and they’ll do that thing where they don’t want a big wedding but maybe a nice non-traditional ceremony --- and even in his drunk mind, it feels barely real, but it’s. it’s the nice fantasy. The one where he brings Sasha home and his mum smiles and says “as if we hadn’t considered Sasha our daughter in law in years!” and his father ruffles his hair and Danny--- Danny--- and Tim doesn’t know why he always ends up crying and associating Danny and Sasha and someone who understands him) 

(And in the morning they both have a hangover and Sasha hides her face into his shoulders and says “you’re an idiot” and Tim groans “you’re the one who suggested whisky Sasha” and they stumble in the Archives and he teases her about being incredibly unprofessional and it’s still Tim who gets told off which, unfair --) 

(Tim who watches Jon and Martin go, observes that weird courtship of friendship and trust and romance, all bright eyes and pink cheeks and jokes that don’t quite land, stuttering and leaning over each other int turn, and there’s something prickly in his chest that’s both envy and curiosity, and he glances at Sasha and thinks: “When is it going to be us? I want this to be us. This was supposed to be us.” but then Sasha grins up at him and raises her eyebrows and he grins back and it’s so easy. It’s always so easy with her, he almost forgets that he should want to kiss her more, perhaps, or imagine her when he’s in his bed at night and gets hard. But no, no; imaginary wife Sasha of ten years from now is lovely but she doesn’t feel like anything tangible, and isn’t that terrible? I'll be doing Leib for this one just because I don't know too much about Yasuyori other then his part of the Pupper fam, his lil' tattoo is on his butt (which is strangely muscular???) part of the War Mongers- Leib, I got a better understanding of since he's popped up a couple of times in the story/events. Now onto the Headcanons!

Protag 2 x Leib

Leib and Protag 2 are polar opposites, just throwing that out there, but they're good polar opposties

Leib calms Protag 2 down easy peasy while Protag 2 gets him to actually,,,, emote emotions a lot more then he would if she wasn't there (Tbh it freaked the every loving shit out of everyone, like, omg that's the loudest I've every heard Leib laugh WHAT THE FUCK-)

Another thing, that Leib is really good at is spotting when she's hurt

It's pretty obvious when Protag 2 gets into a fight, she goes in full force in everything she does, so she usually comes out with some bruises and maybe a busted lip if they land a good hit on her

No, what Leib sees is when she's really hurting, she's pretty good about brushing the pain off, but every once in a while, she'll wince or just give twitch that gives her away and Leib sighs as he gets up so he can fix her up. She can be a little stuborn about it- but he can usually convince her to sit still long enough for him to patch her up with the promise of cuddles afterward

Speaking of cuddles- hoooooooooly shit, dude, he has some of the best cuddles; he's so warm and, sure, his fur can be a little coarse, especially if he's been working for a couple of days, but it's usually super soft and fluffy and Protag 2 can just, ah- she can just sink into his side and stay there forever. She loves his cuddles soooooo much

And sometimes when she stays over with them and he's working, he really will let her glue herself to his side, just get comfy and work and papers with one hand and absent-mindedly play with her hair with the other (highkey headcanon him as ambidextrous). He usually doesn't get much work done like this, but it's worth it since he gets to gaze down at her and bask in her warmth

Protag 2 is really good at getting him to take a break. Like, super good.

Jives as High Duke

So Jives gets a second pick and oh my G did i struggle with choosing this one. In the end I'm pretty happy with the decision to give him the Monkey Miraculous

The whole story for how he ended up with having to pick a second time is already on the post about Stingy, who gets the Turtle from Jives, so I'll try not to repeat myself too much

So here are the references for this design

This design came out a lot simpler than it probably should be considering that it's based on the Chinese Monkey King but Jives isn't one for overly flashy and elaborate costumes in my opinion

Also, yes, again, his eyey should be blue but making colour changes to coloured pencil drawings is really hard, I'm sorry

Again, i just did what felt natural to me and in no time this was the outcome. Conclusion: drawing Jives comes very natural to me and i appreciate him for that

Design Notes:

Chest Pattern - i wanted to make the chest pattern here resemble the one he had as Grinder Turtle, this was also a big factor that sold me on giving him this Miraculous. I just think it looks really cool and it connects the two designs in a vague sense

Beanie - my boy Jives always wears some sort of hat, this is no exception. The Monkey Miraculous is a Crown and here it blends in so it now replaces the brim section of the beanie. On second thought it might be a little basic to choose a beanie but it just really suits him, i couldn't think of a better fit. Especially because it goes along really well with the headshape of the monkey i based him on

Toque Macaque - I'll be real with you, I'm not a huge fan of monkeys which makes them one of the few animal species i don't love and also makes the biggest reason i wasn't immediately happy to give my dear Jives this Miraculous xD I'm shallow i know. Anyways. I may not know a lot about monkeys but i knew enough to pick this macaque because the colours go well enough with the Monkey Kwami Xuppu and i liked the markings it has. [coicidentally this specific kind, the Toque Macaque, happens to share its natural habitat with the peacock ;)]

Tail - on his back you see how the rope detailing from his chest and pants combine into the belt and eventually the tail. I wanted the markings to kind of resemble a harness for climbing, i don't think it comes across too well though

Hair - the little bit you can still see of his actual hair coincidentally blends in almost seamlessly with the colour of his costume, that wasn't planned but i like it a lot

Reasoning:

At the point in time where i made the decision that Stingy would take the Turtle Miraculous from Jives i already had most Miraculous assigned to most other characters, in fact i was only really missing one for Ziggy. So spoiler alert i guess for him. I fudged around for a while between the Mouse and the Monkey, both would've worked well with either but in the end settled on the Monkey for Jives for multiple stupid timy reasons. For example the chest pattern i already mentioned, my ship-trash side going "a monkey and a peacock fit together way better aesthetically than a mouse and a peacock would", he and Xuppu would have a funny bro dynamic together etc.

Story:

I already explained why and how Jives loses the Turtle Miraculous to Stingy in my post about the latter so I'll just give a short summary here before moving on

As per usual Jives didn't eat much throughout the day and ends up fainting. This time it's a much bigger deal though. Usually he doesn't actually fully faint, just sway a little, maybe collapse but for the most parts he stays conscious just really weakened. That day the team of new heroes is fighting an important battle when he full on passes out in the middle of it. Luckily Stingy is able to step in to build their defense up again.

Obviously, instead of saying "i eat as little as possible because i have a problem" Jives just shrugs it off and goes "guess i didn't eat enough again, my bad guys, sorry" and thinks it'll be fine. He didn't expect Álfurildi, aka Sportacus, to take this very literal and announce that he planned on having them eat in his airship as a whole group anyway gor team moral and to make sure they're all healthy enough to actually handle a Miraculous. They deduce that must have been the reason Jives full on fainted this time, while going by his usual life he obviously didn't need as much energy as he now needs to be a superhero so the simple solution is to just eat more.

He makes excuses to not eat with the others as often as he can but one day he'd have to actively leave the others to do so as he already is in the airship with them when they start preparing to serve the next meal. That day he actually snaps at Sportacus that he just doesn't want to eat. Unfortunately, thanks to being such a gentle soul and also sensing Jives frustration and hunger Sportacus tries to comfort Jives with the worst thing he could've said. "heroes gotta eat well, so you can become big and strong" to which Jives absolutely loses it. He snaps at him "I'm already too big without eating anything, can't you just leave me alone!" and just jumps out of the airship. By now he already has Xuppu as his new partner so of cause he makes it down unharmed to run off into the forest. Sportacus wants to follow him but Robbie stops him. Robbie, who so far was pretty quiet and reclusive when the teens came to visit, says he will go find and talk to him taking Pixel with him as he is his best friend after all.

I'll spare you the unnecessarily details i cane up with and just say this is the moment Robbie gets to explain how the powers i gave him work and we get to see that he does really deeply care but just can't really express it. They find Jives and thanks to Robbie being able to relate to him about some of his insecurities and Pixel being a great friend he ends up confessing to them about his eating disorder. He never wanted to be the odd one out but never managed to fit in with the others. It's hard to hide you're different when you're towering over your peers so he figured if he just stopped eating he'd stop growing and though it had no positive effect on him he just couldn't stop doing it even after realizing how bad it had gotten.

Going back to the airship together once the situation calmed down a bit and with Jives' permission they let Sportacus in on this secret. As Robbie figured, the local health expert knows exactly what foods wouldn't upset such an empty stomach too badly and they start the process of finding a few good things for Jives to eat so he doesn't break down again.

Quick, something more lighthearted

When Jives gets his second pick for a Miraculous his eyes fall on the little Monkey, Xuppu. The two pretty quickly get along thanks to Xuppu being a jokester and Jives liking how bro-like they can talk and poke fun at each other. This turns out to be a great pick as this Kwami of Jubilation not only like shouting random noises around just like Jives but is also sassy and straightforward enough to remind him to eat every once in a while by poking fun at him using something Pixel once said to him "I'll not let you eat less than the Kwamis" (yes this part should've technically been in the reasoning section but you kinda need the context of the story for it so i put it here)

So Trixie explains that Xuppu's transformation and powers are based on the Chinese Monkey King (she knows that from the Guardians) but Jives really isn't one for flashy costumes and important titles so not only is his costume more basic than it probably should be but also he wamts to name himself "Duke". Stingy immediately objects "A duke is about as royal as a prince! You're completely underselling this concept. You have to trade with me! You get yoir turtle back. Let me be King!" Xuppu and Wayzz look at each other and roll their eyes, Xuppu then steps floats forward to say "well, he's not entirely wrong. Wouldn't you like to pick something higher?" so Jives chuckles and goes "High Duke". Again Stingy is outraged by this disrespect "that's ridiculous!" but Xuppu laughs and says "no, i like his style! Let's do this!" and so their new duo is established

Look, don't judge me, everyone headcanons Jives with growing not all legal things in his garden so now that he's actually a teen in my au I'm keeping it xD

Gor the characters thing: Michiru

Here you go anon (and all the other anons who asked for her after you! - Seriously, I’m actually really surprised how much reception I got for this character ask xD Hello everyone, I love it when you talk to me!)

Why I likeher: I mean – we know she’s one of the 3 (4 if counting Usagi) people in theworld with the purest heart – and that seriously gives her a nuance that isincredibly interesting – because let’s face it, Michiru is a total troll! XD But,apparently, one with her heart in the right place. She’s maybe one of the mostcomplex characters in the series, with the most sides to her. I feel kinda likeshe’s not overdrawn? She is a calm character without being boring. She’s asmirky, snarky, eye-brow raising character without being an ass. She laughswith her hand in front of her face, and yet delivers the punchiest lines (andlooks). She has a pure, loving heart, and at the same times she makes themorally hardest decisions – like killing those she loves for the world –repeatedly! She’s a pretty damn interesting character! And after 200 episodes,3 movies, one half a reboot, and a manga of that show, I still feel I don’t yetknow even half of all there is to her.

Why I don’t:Nah, seriously, nope. The only thing I obviously frown upon is when dubs makeher a cousin. But she’s pretty dope when she’s allowed to be just like she is.

Favepisode/scene: I wouldn’t say I have a favorite episode for her. But I do havea lot of scenes that I love. Scenes like these:

Where yousee her not only being her composed, elegant self. But you see a glimpse of allthis girl is. The troll, the flirt, the tease, the cute little indignant huff…More layers than “just” the painter, violinist, and overallperfect Japanese girl, that make her so interesting to me.

Favoriteseason: S, obviously. It had the most of her. Though I do love her in Stars,too – she gets to be a big, big troll there, and I do love the family glimpsesof the Outers in the Nehelenia arc of Stars too piiieceees.

Favoriteline: oooh, oooh, I finally have one for her! The one in the aquarium, whereshe’s flirting and Haruka doesn’t get it and she laughs at her for it going allsmirky and all “silly baka” on Haruka!. Y’know,this one. “Dummy,  I wasn’t talking about the fish.”

Favoriteoutfit: You know… I can’t decide! I’ve been mulling over this and decidedshe’s among the top tier best dressed sailor moon characters. But… I wouldn’teven know to pinpoint her style. The following are the favs I’ve narrowed down.But among those you have these incredibly chic ensembles:

So yeah.. mosther outfits give off this air that she does herself already… this vibe ofcomplex, many-facetted, and, y’know… “I’m not even trying, I’m justnaturally cool” …

The only offthing I can consistently say about pretty much all of her wardrobe is this, though:They made her look much older (same with Haruka.) These two were in highschool, and yet all her clothing easily made her look as though she were in hermid-20s. Which, y'know, isn’t negative - just something I noticed. Crystaldidn’t do this, for instance (though she was mostly in her school uniformthere, so yeah.)

OTP:Haruka. You get Haruka, girl. And in fact, she’s your BROTP, too, because youtoo have the kinda perfect relationship going where your partner is also yourbest friend is also your family is also your everything.

In fact, Iused to be quite sad that even though APPARENTLY the 90s anime was absolutelycapable with showing symbiotic, healthy, balanced, utterly trusting and beautifulrelationships (as shown with those two) … you know, the kind in where they understandeach other without words, aren’t jealous, give each other little knowing looks –and yet for the main couple of the show (which y’know, happened to be theMiracle Romance after all) we pretty consistently got stuff like this:

So, like, oftenthe total opposite of that.

In fact, inmy writing, I think I tend to portray UsaMamo more like that – more intuitivein their treating of each other, more intimate, more HaruMichi.

Headcanon:I still think some of the disappearing act the Outers like to do is in littleparts because, while they love their princess, she is a bit much for themsometimes. xD

Let theInners handle that. It’s their job anyway XD

Unpopularopinion: I don’t actually know if it’s unpopular, but I really loved the Outer’santagonistic dynamic with the Starlights – and especially the Yaten/Michirubeef cracked me up. (So yeah, I love shit like this.)

A wish: Apersonal wish of mine would be to get a reboot or rewrite of that episode inthe Nehelenia arc of Stars, where Michiru and Rei were stuck together in Nehelenia’snightmare forest. The dynamic there was SO INTERESTING and it was something Iwould have liked to see more of – and maybe with Rei a bit more composed.Because Rei is ACTUALLY *also* the graceful, sophisticated one of the Inners,even if the 90s anime tend to forget that later on. So, I liked the set-up,even if neither the animation nor the execution of that episode, and I wouldwant something deeper in its place. Please, please, please. This is the kindasetup to explore both their characters SO DEEPLY!

Anoh-god-please-don’t-ever-happen: Something to happen to Haruka. Or either ofthem. Don’t let those two be left behind on their own without the other!
