Do you have any brothers or sisters? I have two brothers. Do you have any pets? I have a doggo. Do you still live with your parents? Yep. Do you have any stepparents? No. How many cousins do you have? Like over 50. Only two of them are from my dad’s side.

Layer 3: Your Friends

Layer 4: Your Home

Do you live in a home, apartment, duplex, trailer, etc? A duplex. How many rooms are there in your house? 2 bedrooms. Is your home large or small? It’s small. What is your favorite room in your house, and why? My room. It has my bed and all my stuff and I spend majority of my time in here. Do you prefer having people over to your house, or would you rather go to theirs? With friends I preferred going to theirs. I don’t like playing hostess.

Can you fold your tongue into the taco shape? Nope. Can you touch your toes without bending your knees? No, cause I’m a paraplegic. Can you tie a cherry stem in a knot with your tongue? Nope. Can you hold up your end of a physical fight? I’ve never been in one, but I’m still going to say no. It wouldn’t go well for me. Can you do any yo-yo tricks? I haven’t played with a yo-yo since I was a kid, but I never could get the hang of any tricks. I couldn’t even get it to go back up easily.

Who inspires you the most, and why? I haven’t felt inspired in a long time. :/ Who helps you maintain your sanity? Uhhh. Who do you go to most often for advice? I don’t ask for advice very often to be honest. Who knows you better than you know yourself? I don’t even know myself anymore. Who is someone that you would die or put your life on the line for, no questions asked? My mom and brother.

Do you still eat sandwiches without the crusts? Yeah. I’ve never liked the crust. Do you typically finish your meal at a restaurant, or need to take a container home? I don’t finish my meal completely ever because I get full fast and I’m such a slow eater that everyone is done for awhile and I feel bad having them wait. Depending on what it is I might take the leftovers home, but honestly I usually don’t. Do you pull an Oreo apart in order to eat it? Yep. Do you read a lot of gossip magazines? I haven’t read a magazine in several years. I used to all the time as a teenager. Do you make friends easily? I don’t have an issue getting along with people, but I don’t develop friendships with a lot of people. I don’t really try either to be honest. Especially not these past few years. I haven’t tried or wanted to make any friends.

How many people live in your house with you? 3 people and a doggo. How many pets have you had in your lifetime? A couple hamsters, 4 doggos, and a fish tank full of fish. How many tries does it take you to become successful at something? Uhh. I don’t know. I don’t think I’m all that great at anything. How many meals do you eat a day? Usually just two. How many people can you honestly tolerate? Just a few people at a time.

How do you typically get to school or work? I’m done with school and I don’t have a job. How do you deal with a breakup? Not well. How do you like to help others? I used to try and help people with what I could when I could, but admittedly I haven’t been very helpful or useful to anyone, including myself. How do you know when you’ve found “the one”? I guess I don’t know because I truly thought I did with Ty, but that went nowhere. How do you sleep in bed? I sleep in the middle slightly turned to my left with my head propped up.

What do you think happens when we die? I believe in heaven and hell. What do you do if there’s no toilet paper left on the roll and you’re already peeing? At home I call for my mom and ask her to bring some or I have to just get up and get some more from the bathroom pantry. What do you eat most often? Wingstop and ramen. What toys did you enjoy most as a child? I was obsessed with Barbies. What do you do if you witness someone being awful to someone else? I don’t know what I would do.

Where is your favorite place to eat out? I’m more of takeout gal, even pre-COVID, which now takeout is all I do, but anyway I love getting Wingstop and breakfast from this local place. Where is the place that has the best ice cream in your area? I’m not a big ice cream person and haven’t had any at all in years, but apart from the common places like Baskin Robbins and Cold Stone, I know we have a few trendy, cool ice cream places in town I haven’t been to thatI hear are really good. Where did you meet your current or last significant other? We met through a mutual friend. Where can you be found at 7 PM. typically? Here at home, most likely in bed on my laptop. Where can you find the best French fries? This local place has delicious beer battered garlic fries.

When did you find out the truth about Santa, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy? I don’t remember exactly when I found out about the Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy, but I stopped believing in Santa when I was 8. I feel like I stopped believing in the other two prior to that. When do you typically fall asleep? Around 6 or 7AM. When was the last time that someone paid you a compliment? I don’t remember. When do you feel most comfortable? When I’m lounging in bed. When did you last go to the bathroom? A couple hours ago.

Layer 13: Why

Why do you enjoy taking surveys so much? I’ve enjoyed taking them for so long now it’s hard to imagine a time where I no longer do them. I mean, here I am at 31 and see no stopping in sight. I think they’re good distractions and give me a place to vent and ramble as well when needed. They’re like my diary entries. Why do people gossip so much? They’re bored and other people’s lives are either more interesting or they serve as a distraction from their own. Why can’t humans fly? We don’t have wings. Why aren’t you doing something else right now? I want to be doing this. Why is the sky blue? Cause that is the color God intended it to be.

If you had a million dollars, what would you spend it on? I’d pay of mine, my parents’ and my brother’s debts first, then I’d buy us a bigger house and furnish/decorate it, do some other shopping, travel for sure, and then I’d have to be smart and careful and save as well after having some fun. If you found out someone was cheating on you, would you ever take them back? I honestly don’t know. It would depend on a lot of things and if I did, it would take time and work. If you found a wallet with cash in the street, including identification, would you turn it in? Why or why not? Yes, absolutely. If you could have any food right now, what would you like? I just had ramen so I’m good right now. If you found out that the world was going to end tomorrow, how would you spend your last day? Freaking out? ha.

Pro-life or pro-choice? Pro-choice. Were you raised with any sort of religious background? If so, then what? Both sets of grandparents were the ones who tried to influence me in that way and they were of different religions, Jehovah’s Witnesses and Christians. It made things very confusing and complicated and I struggled with what I believed for a very long time. I went through phases of being atheist, agnostic, and then slowly started to open up towards Christianity. Democrat, Republican, or Independent? I don’t want to get into that. For or against the death penalty? It’s very complicated. Thoughts on assisted suicide? That’s a very touchy, sensitive subject.

What day is it? Saturday, March 6th. What’s the weather like outside? It’s currently 46F. What have you eaten? So far just ramen. Did you run any errands? It’s only 5:21AM, but I won’t be going anywhere today. What time is it? ^^^

Did you have a work shift? I don’t have a job. Did you eat out anywhere? I had breakfast delivered and then got Wingstop takeout for dinner. Was it snowing? No, it doesn’t snow here. Who did you last say goodnight to? My mom. Did anything unusual happen? No.

Do you have to go to school/class? Nope, I finished school back in 2015. Does this day have any sort of significance to you? No. What is a chore that needs to get done? I don’t have anything I need to do right now. Will you hang out with friends? I don’t have any friends. I’ll hang with my family at home. What time will you be expected to be awake by? Like 4 or 5PM most likely.

Performed a magic trick successfully? Nope. I dabbled a little bit with card tricks when I was a kid, but I was never any good at it. Sat or laid on a rooftop and looked at the stars? If so, what animal? Nope.

Are preschool and kindergarten mandatory where you live? I’m not sure if preschool is, actually. I went to preschool. Were you or anyone you knew homeschooled? I was for a brief periods of time after some long hospital stays in 5th, 6th, and 8th grade. Did you attend public or private school? Public. Were you bullied in school, popular, or somewhere in-between? I wasn’t bullied and I most definitely wasn’t popular. What is the highest level of education that you completed? I have my BA in psych.

How much time do you spend on the internet per day? It really varies. Which social media platforms do you belong to? All the big main ones. When’s the last time you replaced the batteries in your television remote? I don’t recall. Are you more likely to stream movies and shows on your laptop, or cast them to your television? I prefer to on TV. Do you have an e-reader, or do you prefer actual books? No, but I do use the Kindle app on my phone.

Are you still in school? Nope. Are you a member of the LGBTQ+ community? No. Are you looking forward to anything coming soon? There isn’t anything coming up that I’m looking forward to. Are you dreading anything coming soon? Upcoming doctor appointments. Are you gullible or naive? I wouldn’t say I’m a gullible or naive person, but I can be gullible and naive at times.

Does your workplace make you feel like you can never take a day off without feeling guilty about it? -- Does someone currently hold the key to your heart? Myself. Does anyone out there hate you? Probably. Does talking about sex make you uncomfortable? Yes. Does crying make you feel less strong? Sometimes I do feel like that because I’m just so sensitive and moody and feel like such a baby sometimes. I don’t think crying makes you weak, I’m just hard on myself and feel like I cry too much and over ridiculous things at times. I’m like seriously, you’re crying again?? Or wow, you’re crying over this??

Do the Polar Bear Plunge? Helllllllllll no. Ever try to walk across a room blindfolded? I’ve done that. And with just my eyes closed. Swim with sharks? Noooooo. Go into outer space, given the chance? Noooooo. Go out in public, looking how you do right now? Ew, no.

Layer 33: Pets/Animals

Do you have any pets? If so, what type, and their names... Yep, I have a 4 year old German Shepherd/Lab mix named Princess Leia. If not, what type of pet have you always wanted? -- What is your favorite animal? Dogs and giraffes. Do you think it is cruel to have circus animals? Yes. How often do you walk your dog, if you have one? How often do you scoop the litterbox, if you have a cat? I don’t walk her because it would be too hard for me to do, but my dad does a few times a week.

What is your favorite breakfast item? Scrambled eggs, biscuits, and hash browns smothered in country gravy, scrambled eggs with spinach, garlic, and green onions, breakfast burritos, and breakfast sandwiches. What is your favorite kind of dessert? Cheesecake, brownies, cupcakes, muffins, donuts, cookies, Little Debbie snacks. Do you eat all three meals everyday? Nope. I usually just have two. What’s the longest you’ve gone without food? Ever, like 2-3 days because I had just had surgery. Otherwise, just a day without any food at all. I’ve gone days with very little when I’m really sick or having appetite issues. What do you like to eat when you are feeling sick? I don’t like to eat when I’m sick, which becomes a problem. I have to try and at least eat buttered toast and soup.

Does your past ever come back to haunt you at times? I’m always dwelling on my past. What is one of your favorite memories of the past? Childhood memories. What is something that you used to do in the past, but no longer do? I used to have somewhat of a social life, but now I don’t have one at all. If you could have a meal with someone from the past, who would it be, and what would you ask them? My grandmother. I’d just want to spend time with her and catch her up on the past 15 years as much as I could. Which historical time period would you like to go back to and check out? Hm. I don’t know.

Do you think you will ever get married one day? Honestly, no. I really don’t see it happening. Do you plan on ever getting a different job in the future, or are you happy with the one you’ve got? I don’t have a job currently. What age do you plan to retire at? Or do you plan on working til you’re dead? I don’t know what my plans are in regards to work. What is something on your bucket list worth mentioning? One that pretty much everyone says, but traveling. If given the opportunity to see how your future plays out, would you take it, or no? The future terrifies me, so no I don’t think I would. It could possibly end up being encouraging if I saw things turn around for me in a good way, but I’m afraid it would just show more problems and things getting worse. :/

How often do you shower? Every couple days. How often do you brush your teeth? At least once a day. Do you actually iron any of your clothes? I’ve never ironed my clothes. How often do you do laundry? It gets done about once a week. How long do you use a bath towel before switching it out? I only use it once.

Do you wear nail polish? If so, how often do you paint your nails? I haven’t painted my nails in almost 5 years. How would your describe your sense of style? Super casual? ha. I live in leggings and oversized graphic tees. Are there any popular trends that you do not find appealing? Of course. Where do you typically buy your clothing from? Boxlunch and Hot Topic. What sorts of accessories do you wear/use? I haven’t worn any accessories in awhile. I used to be a big accessories person, like I stuff to match all my outfit and my arms would be full of bracelets.

Again, kinda hard to do, but I’ve kinda jumped rope before. Not the actual jumping part course, but did the movements while just wheeling over the rope instead and continuing to move forward. It’s kinda hard to explain, but yeah. Do you know what it feels like to be truly happy? Uhhh. Is it winter in your part of the world right now? Yes. What’s your favorite type of survey, and why? I enjoy themed ones like this and ones with random, interesting questions that allow me to elaborate more than just simple yes and no. I don’t mind some of that thrown in and some basic questions, but I want more.

Like around 4th grade I started getting into Goosebumps, Nancy Drew, The Baby Sitter’s Club, Ramona and Beezus, and choose your own adventure books. What genre of books do you typically read most often? Well, for the past couple years now I’ve just been reading murder mystery and psychological thrillers. Apart from those, my favorite genres are fiction, YA, and NA. What are some of your favorite books as an adult? I have several favorite murder mystery series. What is a book that you were required to read for school that you actually enjoyed? One of them was A Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. Do you read any newspapers or magazines anymore? I haven’t in years.

Do you remember what the first movie was that you saw in theaters? No, but the first one I remember seeing is The Rugrats Movie. What are some of your favorite movies you’ve seen? There’s so many. What genre of movie do you typically enjoy? Horror, psychological thrillers, drama, superhero, fantasy and sci-fi, romcoms. What is a movie you’ve seen that you weren’t expecting to like, but were pleasantly surprised? I didn’t think I’d love Star Wars and the superhero movies like I do, honestly. I got into them late, but once I started I was hooked. How many movies do you own? Are they all DVD’s, or do you still have some VHS ones left? I have like 10 DVDs in my personal collection. I also have my Disney VHS tapes stored away.

Are you more of an introvert or an extrovert? I’m an introvert all the way. Are you more easygoing and laid back, or anal? I think I come off as easygoing and laid back to people who don’t know me, but I am not. I mean, in some cases I am, like when it comes to traveling I’m pretty much down to do anything and I’m cool with just chillin’ and checking things out. Are you kind to everyone who shows that they deserve kindness? I believe so. Describe your sense of humor. I honestly don’t know. Like, I like corny, punny, cheesy jokes, but apart from that I’m not sure how to describe it. People will show me stuff they think is funny and they can be dying of laughter and I can be straight-faced or just give a little chuckle or blow air out of my nose, ha. So yeah, it’s hard to explain. Random stuff will just really strike me as funny. And even if I do think something is amusing, it doesn’t always mean I’m laughing hysterically ya know? I haven’t had a good laugh in a long time. Do you tend to over-share? In surveys I do sometimes.

alright, well today was pretty good. I woke up at like, 11:36 with a work phone call that I handled and then got out of bed. I ordered breakfast food from that place we get breakfast delivery from sometimes and friend headed over, she arrived and then shortly afterwards the food did. she for some godforsaken reason wanted to watch the Cats movie, so we suffered through that and all its horrors. I’d never seen the stage show, but I’d once watched a recording of a production and wasn’t terribly fond of it. so that was a whole thing. at some point we ordered shamrock shakes from mcdonalds (well I got a shamrock oreo mcflurry, but close enough) which were very enjoyable, and we were looking for something random to watch because we didn’t want to start anything new, and ended up with the new jumanji movie, which we got like half an hour into before friend wanted to go home and take a nap, so she did that while I watched some more Gotham and chilled for a bit before making dinner. I’d made this recipe once before but I forgot just how damn good the outcome is (it’s called cheesy taco pasta, in case you were interested), so I finished that and friend showed up again and we ate while pretending to pay attention to the flash though we really have no clue whatsoever is actually going on in this show despite watching most of the episode each week. but then there was legends. ah. we’d been building up to this one for a while because it was Ray and Nora’s departure, and well, there were gonna be a lot of feelings associated with that. God, watching Brandon start crying as Ray was like, super emotional for me, and seeing Courtney get upset to as she was leaving all these people who cared for her like, god, Brandon and Courtney didn’t deserve this and I’m way happy that Brandon was sounding off in a few interviews about just how fucked up this all was and how it was a bad decision from one man (named Phil Klemmer) and not the rest of the staff. so I had a lot of feelings from that, and I mean fuck Phil Klemmer right? can’t believe I once trusted that little bitch. smh. but yeah, it was a good episode, I have to go back and look at the shots to see if there’s anything even vaguely recognizable for a Sara cosplay because this season so far has given zero viable cosplay options and I may not be seeing Caity next week anymore but I’m still going to see her eventually and I need an awesome new Sara cosplay for the occasion. but anyway. after legends friend went home and I went back to Gotham, I’m like halfway through the third season which I guess is about the midpoint of the show. I’ve been enjoying it so far, and it’s been amusing to watch the small overlaps it has with Batwoman and the larger “Gotham” city and such. Around 10 I turned on the news and then the late shows for a bit before showering and starting to get ready for bed and now I’m here. it’s late and while I don’t have work I do have a 2 pm conference call which means I’ll have to wake up like eventually, so I’m gonna take this as my opportunity to go to bed. Goodnight dudes. Hope it was a good one.

1 - atikah and racheel came over, oa webinar (rheumatology), duolingo (DL)

2 - they ended up sleeping over, DL, "attended" pak Kus' webinar just becausee hes my skripsi advisor

3 - a page of padi cbt, idai webinar (respiratory disease in covid era), DL

4 - ran 3 laps in my house complex (afterwards my heart was pounding against my chest), hopecardis webinar (arrythmia), DL

5 - 1 ma article (moluskum kontagiosum), perkani webinar (congenital heart disease), DL

6 - DL, idai webinar (pregnancy and newborn stuff in covid era), put sheet mask on lol i neglect my face a lot lately

7 - accompanied juan with mom to perbanas institute for sbmptn, while waiting we went to lucky cat and imeri to get apd, picked up juan, went to social pot (kokas) afterwards, DL. Lucky cat was empty, the vibes of a cafe felt new to me (it surely has been a while). I felt super refreshed. Did some writing for ma article there. Tried salmon and black olive spaghetti, caesar salad, mom drank piccolo. The spaghetti kinda tasted like mi telor but with salmon lol. Talked and laughed plenty with mom :) i rarely talk with her nowadays. Im glad the awkwardness melted away

8 - videocalled with apa salahku for gaby's birthday, zoom for school prep (covid safety stuff), a bit of cbt padi, DL

10 - some exercise, talked with shiko on zoom, DL, aand since i started padi CBT i finished 2 tryouts (150 questions). It’s not a lot but Im proud of myself :)

11 - went to tj duren with ara, but while we wait the n95 seller we went to citraland, tried fried salmon roll at shigeru, ended up meeting the guy at cl, afterwards we got pisang goreng madu bu nanik, went to rodalink pesanggrahan, ended up getting seirockya at puri, and then i dropped ara off at tj duren. Theeen i went to devis place to hang out and sleepover. Lots of foods. Delicious "lava cake" made from instant brownie mix. Played werewolf. In the morning i managed to finish the pre and post tests in OCI Covid. Happy tummy and laughter :) i hope i can be more productive after this

12 - DL (thank god i freezed streak for weekend because i completely forgout about it yesterday), during sleepover @ devi’s we watched love for sale, a copy of my mind, and love for sale 2. The frustration is real bruh we rly wanted to know more about Arini. Did UKDMA (2 attempts, score: 24, 58), wrote 1 MA article, sorted my downloads folder a bit. After ‘wasting’ (happy times is never a wasted time but still, there’s stuff to do) my time yesterday i felt more urge to do something useful

13 - actually started my day with DL and padi cbt wow (brain still fresh from sleep), CBD about BPPV with dr Widayat. Since ive experienced one before i asked and asked and asked lmaooo. Packed up some of the stuff for tomorrow, hoping to not forget things. Read the journal for litrev before bed

14 - DL, first day of school after a while -- turns out weight distribution is key to avoid sore butt LOL. You kinda have to also support your body weight on your feet. Theres no sore butt at all during my 50 mins trip (amazing feat if you ask me). Went to poli rhinologi (DPJP: dr niken) she kindly gave me a patient to examine, and casually told me to put anterior tampon. I, who have never attempted it, was holding back my fear of trying something new lol. Alhamdulillah, i can somehow do it (even though one tampon fell, tiffany paboooo). The ppds kindly explained stuff to me and i feel like i shamelessly ask nowadays. Like it would be a waste not to ask something. Next was CBD @ Ara’s, we ate Ayam Bakar Mas Walid. Liqo with kak Kartika.

15 - DL, did litrev in the morning bcs i fell asleep lmaoo, tweaked tumblr a bit (i like low contrast the most), fell asleep while watching larynx anatomy video until 1:30 pm yalll i missed half of cbd. Tried to read stuff for poli larfar tomorrow.

16 - DL, ppds i met today lives in poris and worked at puskesmas kalideres lmaoo. Had a bit of headache and gassy stomach that felt better after sleeping and eating. thank god i was picked up by mom and theres food and stuff. i guess the difference of being at home and kosan is that you kinda remember more who youre fighting for. my mind felt healthy-ish lately, of some sort. but the headache made me sluggish

17 - DL, nevermind about the healthy mind part lmaoo

18 - DL, physical activity, padi cbt (after 200 questions i was today years old when i realized there were answer keys on telegram 👁️👄👁️), read optima tht batch 1 2020. Watched khs playing chess blindfolded against try guys and then i was purely amazed by what the human brain can do. It somehow motivated me to study lol

22 - was in poli onko this morning w ara, a patients consciousness was decreasing so code blue was activated. Finished poli at 1 am. It's been awhile since I last saw emergency situations. Went to maison weiner, ate almond croissant there and bought chocolate sourdough and chicken pie. Despite not getting minicex, the road home was not hot, the sun hidden away. The wind is breezing, podcast is on, talking about mindfulness. Todays quite a good day. Im healthy, insyaAllah. I hope my family will also stay healthy. Woke up at 11ish pm, DL, made my ppt for lcbe exam ((tomorrow)) til 1 am

23 - DL, lcbe exam with dr arie (turns out he picked epistaxis over sinonasal tumour), met up with racheel devi silvi at mcd and jco. Hojicha oreo mcflurry tasted good. Got lost on the way to racheels house lmaoo. She flies to malang tomorrow. Can i wish for life to stay simple and happy forever?

24 - DL, originally meant to be a minicex session turned out to be story time by dr Ezzy, she told us about cases that she managed, one of them is putting on tracheostomy for a baby with Moebius syndrome that went viral on twitter. We didnt even present our case and she only asked us for the scoring form. Thank you doc our lifesaver :”” after trying so hard for minicex the last 2 days turns out maybe its fated so we can meet and be inspired dr Ezzy. Mom picked me and we went to Maison Weiner before going home. Passed out from 6pm until the morning lmao

25 - a bit of exercise, DL, tried kemonyu.id mentai from duta garden, i’ve had better mentai than it but at least its on promo. it uses butter rice so that’s something new to me. rapat nemo to decide dates

26 - DL, liqo with kak Kartika about things you can do in Dzulhijjah, A2, started reading optima pem dv batch 1 2020

27 - DL, round was cancelled bcs no patient, lazed around and slept and lazed, continued reading pem dv optima, did like a half of 1 pamela reif video and my HR soared in 2 mins lmaoo

28 - DL, finally mustered the will to finish DS etika profesi, finished reading optima pem dv batch 1 2020, 2A, did 1 pamela reif video (titled 10 mins calorie burn that wont kill u), read a bit of my dv notes

Diner- (G.D)

Authors note: hey this is my second imagine hope y'all like!! There’s no warnings. Light smut maybe. Barely. Hope you enjoy!!

11:14 pm. We’ve been at the diner for 15 minutes and still no waiter. And every second going bye, I become an even bigger third wheel. Everyone hates being a thirdwheel. It’s a proven fact. While the couple is having the time of their life, you’re just there, eating your slice of pizza alone. Well now I was just sitting on one side of the booth alone, while my friends Jessica and Anthony were on the other. Not being in the conversation was boring, but something else was attracting my attention.

Across the diner was a boy, a very hot boy, may I add. He had the most defined jawline. Sun kissed skin, brown hair with a streak of blonde. What intrigued me even more was the fact that he was alone. He seemed to have just gotten here, given the fact that he was on his phone with no food or drink near him. If he was waiting for a waiter it would take him a year, considering the service here was unbearably slow.

I thought about approaching him. My mom always warned me of strangers. But he was a hot stranger. What if he’s meeting someone? That would be bad. Fuck it, wait a little before going. I waited a couple of minutes, 4 to be exact, before exiting my booth. “Guys I’ll be back in a few"I said to them, even though I doubt they heard.

I walked over to him, even though he was still looking down at his phone. I slid across the booth from him. He looked up from his phone and furrowed his brows.

"Do I know you?"he asked, almost scared.

"Probably not. I just saw you alone and I figured I would go sit with you. Plus I hate being a third wheel"I said.

He chuckled, nodding his head. "I know what you mean. My brother is dating someone, and she’s nice and I like her, but it’s like I hate going out with them. It’s always them two, and then me. And I never get what’s going on because it’s a ‘couples joke’ or some dumb shit"he vented. He continued venting. For the next 10 minutes. At the end of his vent his hair was a little messed up from tugging on it. His face was a little red too.

"Easy there tiger"I giggled.

"Sorry. It just gets me so annoyed"he smiled.

"I know me too. They’re both my friends and I love them but it’s annoying"I said.

"I don’t get that"he looked confused.

"Get what?"I furrowed my brows.

"How you’re the third wheel. I feel sorry for whoever left you"he said. I smiled.

"Thank god they did leave me. Or else I wouldn’t have met you"I said. He blushed and looked down.

"You’re cute when you blush"I giggled.

"You’re cute all the time"he said.

"Hi, sorry for the wait, there’s shorten staff. Can I get you something to drink?"a waitress asked. Her name was Marissa. I knew her because I always go to this diner. The buttons on her shirt were all mismatched, her hair was a little messy. And she looked a little sweaty.

"Can I get a coke"Grayson said.

"Ok and for you Y/N?"she asked me.

"Oh I’m not-”

“She’ll have a coke too"Grayson interrupted me.

"Ok be right out with that"she left.

I looked at Grayson, kind of staring him down.

"What?"he asked.

"I’m paying for my drink"I said.

"You’re funny. I’m paying for everything. This is a date"he said.

"Oh, so we’re on a date now?"I asked.

"Maybe. Maybe it could end like our waitress"he said.

"Oh my god"I laughed, and so did he.

"So tell me about yourself"he said.

"There’s not much to me"I shrugged.

"Yeah right. How old are you?”

“17 turning 18 this year”

“Oh me too. You graduated high school?"he asked.

"Yup. I went to Long Branch"I said.

"That’s 30 minutes from me"he said.

"You live in LA?"I asked.

"Yes how’d you know?"he asked.

"Lucky guess. What are you doing here?"I asked.

"I was just driving and was hungry and stumbled upon here"he said.

"I was gonna say no one comes here by choice. Except me"I said.

"Why do you come here?"he asked.

"My mom used to love this place when I was little and would always take me here. Back when there was service. But I don’t know, I never stopped loving this place. I went here after school with my friends or just to get out. Or when we snuck out. I don’t know"I shrugged.

"What happened with your mom?"he asked.

"She died in a car accident when I was 12"I said. He frowned and took my hand in his.

"I’m sorry"he said.

"It’s fine. Anyways, you grew up in LA?"I asked changing the subject.

"No. I grew up in Jersey. I moved out here with my twin brother. We make YouTube videos"he replied.

"Oh. Are you guys the dunkin tins?"I joked.

He laughed and shook his head. "Something like that”.

“Ok here are your drinks. Can I get you something to eat?"Marissa asked.

Except Grayson didn’t know what he was going to have because they didn’t give him a menu.

"Do you like pancakes?"I asked him. He nodded.

"Give us 2 of my favorite stack"I said. She nodded and went back inside the kitchen.

"What’s your favorite stack?"he asked.

"Surprise"I smiled.

For the next 35 minutes, we kept asking each other questions and answering them. I told him almost everything about me. Which is weird, because who tells everything to a stranger? Me I guess. And him.

I learned a lot about Grayson in a measly hour. I learned the little things, like his favorite colors and favorite food, to the deeper things, like his biggest fears and past relationships.

As we were talking Grayson started sniffing the air.

"Are you trying to detect something?"I asked.

"Funny. It smells so good, what is that?"he asked. His question was answered when he came face to face with my favorite stack. It was 3 huge pancakes with bacon, sausage, and home fries on the side. Inside the pancakes were chocolate chips and marshmallows. It was the best thing in the world, no joke.

I was only able to eat 1 and a half pancakes. But Grayson ate all of his and then the rest of mine.

"I was starving. Holy shit now I need to do an extra long workout"he said. I laughed as Marissa brought out the check.

"I have to pee. But don’t touch the check. I’m paying"he said. I shrugged and waited for him to be in the bathroom before calling Marissa over and quickly gave her $30.

"When Grayson comes, tell him I already paid"I said. She nodded and I walked out of the diner to the exit, standing on the balcony. Through the window I could see Grayson coming out of the bathroom, and looking confused as to where the check was. He went over to Marissa and I saw him try to slide money over but she handed it back. They had a quick discussion before he headed out. He walked out of the diner and came over to me.

"I hate you. I can’t believe you payed"he said.

"I said I was going to"I replied. He shook his head.

"Come with me for ice cream?"he asked. I looked over at the window before seeing my friends, too busy making out to notice I’m gone. And he was a stranger. Second time I said that. But this is a once in a life time opportunity.

"Let’s go"I said. He grabbed my hand and led me to his truck.

He opened the door for me as I got in and closed it for me too. I watched him jog to his side before getting in as well.

"Nice truck"I said.

"Thanks. It’s extra roomy in the back"he smirked. I laughed and so did he. I quickly texted my friends where I was and where I was going in case this stranger was a serial killer.

He started driving to another place. He handed me the aux, to which I gladly accepted and started playing lit ass music. We bumped the whole car ride to the ice cream place, which I didn’t even notice was 20 minutes away. We pulled into the parking space and he parked away from the other cars. Again he got out before jogging to my side and opening the door for me.

"What a gent"I said, grabbing his hand as I jumped down from the truck. He smiled at me and we made our way towards the line.

"Do I want a cone or a milkshake?"I asked.

"Cone"he said.

"Then I want a milkshake"I said. He stared at me as I laughed.

"Can I help who’s next?"the guy asked. I stepped up first, Grayson behind me.

"What can I get for a hot girl like you today?"he asked, trying to flirt.

"Can I have an Oreo milkshake?"I asked, ignoring the comment.

"Anything for you"he said, before writing it down on a cup.

"What about you Gray?"I asked, turning around to see Grayson. His jaw and fists were clenched. He was breathing a little heavy too.

"Yeah, can I have a vanilla cone with Oreos on top?"he asked. The guy nodded, almost in fear considering Grayson was 2x his size, height and muscle wise.

"I’m paying"he said. He put his hands on my waist and scooted me over a little so he had no choice but to pay. He handed me my milkshake and grabbed his cone, as I followed him back to the truck. Instead of eating it in the truck we popped open the trunk and sat there and had our ice cream. I lay back and stared up at the sky and the stars.

"It’s so beautiful"I said.

"I know"Grayson replied. "I’m not talking about the stars.”

I looked over and his eyes were fixed on me. I smiled before leaning closer to him, my head resting on his chest.

I finished my milkshake, trying to get the last few drops from the bottom of the cup. Gray took my cup and his paper from his cone and threw them out. When he came back we sat back inside the truck.

We continued talking for a little until we both stopped. All of the sudden we were staring into each others eyes. I noticed how his eyes were such a light brown, and his pupils dilated. I could kiss him right now. I will kiss him right now.

“Gray?"I whispered.

"Yeah?"he asked.

"Kiss me"I said. And with that he leaned over the console, his hands on my face and we passionately kissed. But it wasn’t just a kiss. It was more. Our lips moved in sync as we started to make out. We both pulled back for air. I smiled, and he grinned. I reconnected our lips, and his tongue immediately slipped into my mouth. Eager, yes, but for the both of us. I couldn’t help but to smile, and he pulled back. He was grinning from ear to ear.

"What are you thinking about?"I asked.

"2 things: 1, how lucky I am right now and 2, if we could test out the back seat"he said.

I laughed, pulling down the compartment on the passengers side and grabbed a condom.

"How’d you-”

“I had a feeling. Now shut up and kiss me"I said. He happily obliged, and I will say this. It was a night I will never forget.

Ugh the formatting is really messed up in this one. The spacing between the questions and answers changes throughout. I don’t like a space between the two at all, but I can’t seem to get rid of the space if it’s already formatted that way.

Would you consider yourself artistic?

Ha, no. I wish. I’m a great color-er. lol. However, I did get a few art supplies for Christmas. I get inspired now and again to try and draw so I asked for art stuff, but what always happens is that the inspiration dies or I get frustrated and give up. I also got a book with 500 drawing prompts to help give me ideas. Last month I painted Christmas quotes and a few little Christmas related pictures and such to frame and hang up as decoration. That’s what led me to want to do more painting of things like that, and just today I got another idea for something so we’ll see how it goes.

Naturally, I am. I’ve been dying it red for almost two years.

I always check to see what’s on E!, Logo, Oxygen, TV Land, Hallmark, ID, and MTV2. I watch Nickelodeon at night for Full House and George Lopez. If there isn’t anything good on those channels, I just scroll through the guide and see if anything catches my attention.
