Jann (the character) is based off the actual motorsports racer Jann Mardenborough, and the entire movie is based on a true story. I understand that in the movie that they're characters and they're mostly fictional, but do y'all ever get tired of shipping teenagers (idgaf that hes technically an adult, 19 is still a teenager) and grown ass people (40+)???

as somebody who likes reading age gaps where it's like 10 years, I see where you guys are coming from ig, but the age gap is always like character in mid twenties x character in late thirties. that's not even my point tho!! its that jack is meant to be seen as a mentor to jann, not a boyfriend or whatever y'all got pictured in your heads when you think of them

Alrighty, this is for all of the characters!! What song would you think resembles you the most? Why do you think you have a connection towards it? Is there any other songs that come close to resembling your personality? What song would other people pick to resemble you if they get the chance?

Rune: So far the only song I know is 99 Bottles of Juice because the dojo kids would not stop singing it during one of our training sessions a while back. So I guess that one represents me slowly losing my sanity with each verse.

Malachi: I always liked my tribe's working songs! Older members of the tribe liked to play music for us while we did field work or weaving. They were fun to sing along to!

Inigo: I like listening to songs from theater groups. I'd say the ones from musicals, but I actually prefer songs from operas. Which, operas are not all just boring yodeling, it's just a term for a theater performance where most of it is delivered through song. Anyway, my favorite opera is The Song of Faelyn, best song in there is probably The Soul of Farewells.

Dielle: I still have a soft spot for The Wishmaker's Lullaby! It was my favorite as a kid, and I still think it's sweet. I hear there's another version of the song that's about revisiting childhood memories!

Eilwyn: I like listening to whales calling each other. It always sounds really lonely, but the fact that they're calling out means they know someone on the other side will hear them.
