This weather makes me

The weather affects my mood. It's really rainy here, so my natural depressive emotions feel really heightened. So I might repost some of my old vent posts. I might also make some new ones. Because really, I feel just kind of sad right now. And I really hate it.

Meteorology is fan-fiction

Can the electron ropes and foot stomps, the torrents of spit the dribbling tears fall only on organic matter?

Can the whirlwind of positive or negative ions dance-battling in the clouds make their ruckus over empty fields and emptier parking lots? Can the observers of these atmospheric operas re-double their efforts to guess the next day, the next hour's performance with just a sneeze more accuracy?

I'd hate to look at a clearer blue sky and think, "No, wait, this vision is a lie."
