#19 Adam | Dude be fucking having that moo moo dress ON. I find it hilarious that his army is dripped out more than he is. I mean his final battle moo moo dress was a bit better than the original but he really just walks around like a certain Ice King from one of my fav Cartoon Network shows lmfaooooo. ✝️

#18 Carmilla Carmine | Lackluster. I wasn't really wowed by either two of her looks all that much I guess. There's just absolutely no color I kinda wish they incorporated maybe more purple or something in her. Carmilla also got some BIG ass hands. Idk her design just kinda throws me off. It reminds me of something abstract.

#17 Vox | I really like his coat and just the overall palette of that electric blue situation but his shirt low-key is giving me Freddy Krueger tease lol. As well as Pyrocynical and that dude from the show "Villainous". I hope in Season 2 Vox serves us more looks and variety. He's not bad, he just obviously doesn't compare to others.

#16 Katie Killjoy | She got only like one outfit but man does it EAT. A bit cliche for a reporter but it's just still too cunty to turn down. The pearls, the cut, the makeup, fucking slay I guess. Miss Bryce Tankthrust still serving in hell is a MUST. 📣

#15 Lute | Ngl I was just shocked how pretty Lute was. That fucking face card and you hide it under a MASK?!?! Her eyelashes/eyes and that bob is just chef's *kiss* honestly and I actually really do think the angel uniforms are pretty hot as well. You just can't go wrong with a thigh high BOOT. Girls really get it done. 💯 (Keep the mask OFF!!!)

#14 Mimzy | I hate Mimzy with a passion but I can't deny flapper dresses are beautiful. Mimzy you absolutely devoured and the body is bodying Cheers, you're timeless lol. 🥂

#13 Husk | Please don't hate me guys. I love Husk and all, but ever since Alastor stole his soul he also stole his swag. Man's hasn't worn a fucking shirt since that day lmao. 🤣🤣 Like where DID his suit go??? I would be depressed and wasted too if I was him. I don't hate his design or outfit, I just think it's a bit too simple compared to the other main characters. His personality and Keith David 100% make up for it tho. ♠️

#12 Rosie | Just like Mimzy but like, tripled lmao. Just timeless beauty that never dies. Mary Poppins WHO???? My favorite is honestly probably her hat, that thing is like the crown jewel. Color palette is also kinda satisfying, I stan the pink and mauve. 🌷

#11 Emily | She's like a breath of fresh air from all the red and pink tones. The baby and periwinkle blue is so beautiful and so are her features. Them big ass eyes, the freckles, & whimsical hair. I liked her dress too. Big W's for Em. 💙

#10 Niffty | Cutieeeee. I really like her redesign compared to the old one. 1950's style of fashion is also still very appealing to me as well. The pink dress she was wearing was so fucking adorable I almost had a stroke just to see it in person. She's also weirdly gorgeous covered in angel blood. 💄

#9 Charlie Morningstar | Ngl...a lil disappointed in our girl. As the main character....to have so many just similar looking outfits with not much variety is kinda the most unsatisfying thing ever. It often feels like her fanart and photos that we rarely ever see contain better outfits than the ones that repeatedly appear in the show. However there's nothing really wrong with her final design I just sometimes really miss the old one from the pilot. I think her rounder features and the lighter pink suited her better. Final battle outfit was her best look so far tho in my opinion. 💋

#8 Sir Pentious | Sir Pentious style sorta never changed, he's still rocking that snake do-rag and that suit top that's striped just like everybody else's. 😮‍💨 I really wish they would've made Pentious' suit a floral pattern. I know stripes might have been popular in the 1800s but floral was very popular too and it'd be something different that'd still completely match his Era. I love his steam punk style and his other creative looks but his HEAVEN outfit was just the best. Saint Pentious > Sinner Pentious!! 🤍

#7 Velvette | Thank LUCI they changed and upgraded this girl bro. She was lowkey a hot fucking mess in my opinion before. Man did she come out SWINGING. Not just with looks but also personality I was floored. She's literally the Queen of hairdos and assembling, not many people can pull off that many patterns. Unique and trendy with the energy to back it up. Velvette you'll always be famous!! ❤

#6 Lucifer Morningstar | 6.6.6!!! Very few outfits but I never seen a moment where this man did not serve!! He's always got that fire ass coat on and he gives you the hatsssss. They're stylish while also telling you exactly who he is. It's like regal as fuck while also kinda simple. You don't have to think too much while ogling to just know that he's a dapper ass cHaD. ❤️‍🔥🍎

#5 Cherri Bomb | Loved all of Cherri's outfits. She fucking devoured and blown away over half the competition. She is Kesha vibes. Mama is Avril Lavigne vibesss. She just gives it to you with her punk rock, y2k, fashion. (I know she's supposed to 80s Era but still lol..) Always loved her base look but the final battle outfit and the one from the addict music video were amazing. 🍒

#4 Vaggie | Vaggie the fucking queen you areeee. Talk about versatility. She can really pull off a lot. I noticed that she experiments with her hair a lot like Velvette and I LOVE THAT. The fucking bob?!? High ponytail?!?! Great bangs and great length?!?! Vaggie teach me your wayssss. I always liked her bow and a lot of her outfits. Most of them are sexy without trying too hard. I don't think I can even pick a favorite but I'd probably go with final battle outfit and also her angel gown because that is just too cute lol. 💅🏼

#3 Alastor | As soon as Alastor popped up on scene he was fucking slaying. Literally definition of "pink is cute but red is sexy". He got those sharp ass acrylics ON and his coat is fabulousy spooky lmfao. He also went from being bed bug red to....even more red and sharper (because that was some how possible) lol. Red and black is always an amazing combo and his deer-like appearance is kinda appealing even tho it's a demon lol. I'd venture to even say he's probably one of the most fashionable Overlord's. He's just eye catching and has that AURA. Maybe it's because he's an ancient relic with very peculiar cLaSs but it's really working for him. Keep going you psycho I will see you in hell lmao. (Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka called 🍓💀)

#2 Angel Dust | FUCKING KING SHIT. He just serves every time without fail. He has a whole wardrobe and they all fucking bang. The clothes are sexy, the makeup is sexy, the AURA is sexy. AND IT SHOULDN'T BE TRIFLED WITH!!! It's really sad because he spends so much time to "get pretty" for pieces of shit, but it doesn't take away Angel's talent to pull off so many gorgeous and hot things. Angel will always be a standout icon and I bet Heaven will look SO good on him. 💗

SPOILERS FOR 9-1-1 SEASON 1 AND 2!!!

Okay so a few days ago I went blind into 9-1-1 (the show) with no idea what happens in the show at all (because I basically didn’t get anything related to it until I saw someone talking about how they loved the show so I gave it a shot) And my thoughts are so mixed honestly.

1. When I watched Season 1 Episode 1 I did NOT like Buck and actually hated him with a burning passion so much that I stopped watching it for two days then went back to it and was happy to see that he changes. Him also sleeping with his therapist was crazy btw😭😭

2. I loved Hen so much she was honestly one of my fav characters but I started feeling icky about her once she cheated on her wife but I still like her after it I hope it doesn’t happen again.

3. Bobby was a character I didn’t know how to feel about same with Athena. With Athena, I first liked her, then hated her, then liked her, then hated her. BUT NOW she is one of my fav characters. Mwah love her. With Bobby before we got revealed that his family was dead I was so confused by him but with the flashback and shit he has been one of my favorites as well and im glad he gets better later in the show.

4. With Abby, I don’t know what to feel about her. With the age gap and shit with Buck I just kind of don’t want it to last in all honesty. I am at the part where Buck reunites with his sister and I can see that I am probably going to like her but idk. Abby was a good character up until the whole Buck and her thing so idk what to feel now. (I am kind of just icky about age gaps.)

5. Ik that I have only known the Eddie person for like 3 minutes but I already love him. I kind of had to keep switching my tv on and off because of Buck’s jealousy towards Eddie but I hope that stops. And also I kind of get some LGBTQ+ vibes from Buck or is that just me 🤨🤨🤨🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈 He is kind of someone I would see as like not caring about gender or maybe someone who goes both ways? I hope that something will happen with that.

6. I like Chimney he’s great and I was super sad when I thought he was going to die but in all honesty I don’t really know what to say about him😥😥 He’s a great guy and he deserves the world in my opinion and I hope my opinion doesn’t change.

OVERALL: GREAT SHOW AND GREAT CHARACTERS. I am not one person to laugh or cry to shows or movies but sometimes this show made me almost cry and it makes my laugh sometimes. I am not one to like new shows I just stick to the same shows but I am glad I tried this show out🫶🫶🫶

EHEHEHWHEHGE. okay im so NORMAL!!!!

might struggle to put this into words here but were just gonna have to go with it! so its basically two different story lines that merge together in the middle, focusing on ccrime because. What else.

also i apologize because it’s not. very fleshed out. but i came up with this 3 days agoooo soooo. its nothing special, it’s just a little love letter for my fav fandom and my fav hobby!

This is gonna be long i’m so sorry eeekkk!!! Don’t feel pressured to read /gen

(ive mostly been calling the au tessitura, which is the term for a singer or instruments most comfortable range)

Tommy’s story really starts around 6th grade. His best friend is Tobias Derscore, or Tubbo! They’re those neighbours that become really close cause of their proximity and then wreak havoc on the whole neighborhood. Plus, Tubbo basically lives at Tommy’s house, so the bond is pretty tight. (also, biological family sbi is not real here just to clarify. his parents are just some random people.)

Tommy is a kid who has always looked forward to playing trumpet. When he gets to middle school, and can finally join the band, he is unbelievably excited to become the best trumpet player his school has EVER seen. Tubbo hears a lot about it

And so, when you give a determined kid a trumpet, he’ll play. Tommy is not a prodigy by any means. The natural talent is lacking, and he gets frustrated easily for years. But he’s determined, and that’s the very thing that catches the eye of anyone who he plays for.

Honestly, despite being the best in his class and gaining a lot of opportunities over time (private lessons, honor bands, etc.) Tommy really struggles to actually enjoy music. It’s mainly a proving himself thing. That’s Tommy’s real journey - not becoming a star - just eventually learning that music can make him happy.

So.

Freshman year, when Tommy can finally march, he LIVES for it. He loves the camps, he loves the music, he loves playing classic stand tunes and mocking the opposing team at games, he loves the small breaks between sets where he can goof off with his section, and he especially loves the marching. Tommy loves marching band.

But, things happen, and Tommy drops out of highschool at the end of sophomore year. No more marching band. It really messes with him. He hated school, but sometimes Tommy wondered if it would be worth it to go just for the band.

Therefore, when his dear friend Tobias sees Tommy’s suffering, he comes up with an idea. On one fateful day, Tubbo brings up a drum corps that is (luckily) nearby. (Tommy snaps back about “obviously i knew that tubbo mimimimimi” and to which tubbo says “then why aren’t you practicing for an audition?” And thats all it takes to get Tommy set on it.)

Shoot i’m rambling so bad its okay its okay its okayyyyyy

Of course, Tommy is super excited for the idea of being in a drum corps. (It’s marching band, but competitive, challenging and would fill his now empty schedule really quickly. Everything Tommy wanted!) But, after auditions, when he gets accepted its very. Nerve wracking.

He jumped straight into World Class, and having no Open Class experience he has no clue what to expect from his peer’s abilities. Attending his first practice helps with his anxieties a little bit, but it’s still insanely intimidating.

As time goes on, he gets obsessed with it, but is also always riding on an anxiety high at practice. Tommy wants to be the best all the time, and being put in a place where he’s not, makes him always on edge. Especially since he’s never been behind anyone before the drum corps.

He meets with Tubbo at their favorite diner after Every. Single. Practice. One day his best friend brings in this GUY. Extremely offensive to Tommy. His name is Ranbus, which he thinks sounds like a cat’s name. He does not like Ranbus. This GUY.

(Tubbo met Ranboo in the E.R. after he broke his arm. Ranboo was having an allergic reaction.)

Tommy’s assumption is that Tubbo was trying to replace him since he was busier with music than he used to be. Their friendship got pretty messy for a while, mainly because of Tommy’s refusal to communicate properly.

The gap that was left after he and Tubbo stopped meeting left Tommy more stressed out. So, when Tommy finally gets to speak to the drum major of [blank] drum corps, he desperately wants to be friends with him. Tommy idolizes Wilbur the same way he used to idolize his first director, because Wilbur was passionate just like Tommy.

He dreamed of learning from him, so he falls into the cycle of trying to impress Wilbur. (yikes!) Wilbur is genuinely so oblivious. But he does think the loud, obnoxious kid is funny. So they become friends! (Wilbur is also very much clinging to the friendship because Tommy is someone who he cannot associate with college. Which is something I’ll get into later!)

Okay. Wilbur. Who is Wilbur.

Wilbur Soot is one of twins, his older brother (by 10 minutes) being Techno (nickname given to him because of being a theatre tech kid.)

Wilbur never necessarily wanted to be a musician. But when his best friend, Eret, left theatre to play tenor sax, he felt so completely betrayed he just had to follow him.

But Wilbur fell in LOVE with band. Playing the trumpet made him so much happier than any other hobby he ever had.

I mean, he practiced non stop. Trumpet becqme a part of him. He would play his horn for hours after school, coming home at 3:00 to stay in the basement blowing until 8:00. Techno began to not even notice when he was playing, but when he wasn’t.

Just like Tommy, that passion brought Wilbur to honor bands, competitions, and anything else that could judge his skills. Unlike Tommy, he was never trying to prove his worth to others, but to himself. (#insecurity. #thinkabouttheelection.)

^ Techno and his twin’s relationship is. Very strained. Because he just doesn’t understand music and that’s really all Wilbur is anymore. They’re very close but just. awkward.

One day at an audition, Wilbur sees a flute girl wearing an ABBA shirt in the warm up room. He compliments her, and they immediately pop off together. Niki and Wilbur talk for their entire warm up period, securing a new friendship but absolutely FAILING that audition 😭

^They’rw besties. I love them so much in this au. They play duets together and share earbuds and write letters despite texting everyday and they go to coffee bars and they do mock auditions for each other and they go thrifting and niki makes him taste test whatever she bakes and wilbur cleans her room while they’re hanging out cause it s mess and they test each other on music theory and they live 2 hours from each other but are always trying to hang outthey’re so GOOD. THEYRE BESTIES. I LOVE T!RAINDUO. They’re actually abbaduo in this au but. You get the picture. I could talk about them for hours. AH

Okay. So. Wilbur is our beloved drum major in this story. He starts his majoring experience in junior year of Highschool :)

Wilbur is the most drum major ever. He even wins PEACOCKS once. PEACOCKS. Tommy is so jealous when he meets him. I would be too in fairness

Anywayyyyy. So, Wilbur’s reasons for joining a drum corps aren’t as obvious as Tommy’s, he just. Thinks it’d be fun. I mean eventually he becomes bored with his highschool’s marching band’d music, something Niki experiences too, and they decide to do it together.

Obviously Niki can’t march flute in a drum corp so she does guard. She meets Puffy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also. Wilbur hates college. Very important part of the overall storyline and when I say hate I mean like nearing the end of the story he is severly depressed.

It’s mainly because, deep down he knows he wants to study music. He wants to be a professional conductor one day. But his whole life Wilbur has been the fed the idea that musicians can’t be successful mimimi. So he’s studying for a stupid degree that he doesn’t want and severely struggles to keep up. (which, sure isn’t the worst thing I guess, but he’s already insecure as hell and it really messes him up. especially those few months when he’s on tour for dci and. uhm. he gets. very stressed out and cuts a lot of people off and he. he. tessitura has a very, very sad ending.)

After he meets Tommy, most of the story is just antics that they get into at practice and competition. There’s also a lot of sweet like passing down knowledge moments where Wilbur teaches Tommy how to conduct and play different techniques its sooo. GAH. He also gives Tommy his d trumpet when he gets a new one.

PLUS they do end up winning DCI preliminaries which has a really sweet celebration scene between the whole band. BECAUSE THEY DESERVE IT!!!!! And the sad ending follows after that ahem. It reminds me of when everyone is celebrating on nov 16th while Wilbur is literally facing the button.

Some other stuff worth mentioning !!!!

Niki HATES Tommy. Not really sure why yet but I just think it’d be funny

Wilbur, Eret and Niki have facetime calls all the time and it’s really the only time Wilbur isn’t playing his trumpet

Wilbur’s suicide note was written on the back of their show music

Techno drives Wilbur to all of his practices because he’s scared of driving 😭 (LET ME PROJECT OKAY LET ME PROJECT.)

Their uniforms are inspired by the l’manburg ones :3 RED PLUMES!!!! Because I ❤️ red plumes!!!!! But white bibbers. Unfortunately. I HATEEE white bibbers.

T!Ranboo has triangle shaped eyebrows. He also plays bass clarinet in concert band but marches flute

T!Tubbo is a french horn player that marches Tuba (LOW BRASS REPRESENT 💪)

T!Tommy loves Bruce Springsteen

we just finished watching the watch tv show. it was. So bad. like even for a hate watch it was Miserable.

pros:

Two (2) scenes were the watch do a musical band number. thats fun

oh wait actually the set pieces and the costumes were fun. vimes was mischaracterized but the guy they cast for him was Really Good its a shame the show sucks

cons:

EVERYTHING ELSE!!!!!

all the characters are just. not what they are. complete mischaracterization of EVERYONE. sometimes they just give a character a name from the books and that's the Only connection.

plot was uninteresting, convoluted, boring, and unfocused. it's a combination of multiple books (notably night watch, guards guards, and thud i think?), and there's no interesting message beyond 'ahh power of love and friendship and hope!' (which they tell you multiple times btw. they Make sure you know the watch is all about Hope and Love).

they rely Way too much on magicky stuff. the watch books Have magic but they're side bits, especially after guards guards. lots of Artifacts and Mysterious Forces and Magic Swords and Magic Lakes. funnily enough, they also made the wizards lame and serious and unsilly. (THEY DID THE LIBRARIAN SOOO DIRTY)

as an addendum to 4: there's this whole overarching like, omnipotent godly force that is the background villain to the season? like the one pulling the strings and their whole deal is that they want vimes and the watch Dead i guess. and it sucks. i hate that kind of stuff, the watch books are good bc there's no overarching thing they stand on their own.

an extensive side plot on slab? that was my least fav bit from feet of clay but there was a Whole thing in the first couple episodes about Drug Trade which is just. really unfortunate. and apparently pple use slab to do magic??

they use death WAY too much. like WAY TOO much and he isn't even like, killing people, he's just popping up to say shit.

made ankh morpork boring. the tv show makes a whole big deal about how making the assassins and thieves being legal is Bad like that's Baaaad when it should just be funny. like why does it have to be a full ass plot thing about how the watch and sybil want those guys outlawed or whatever. and why are they constantly fighting the assassins. where am i

Actually do get started on Eleanor Vance from Shirley Jackson's Haunted house on the hill. I've been seeing snippets from it on your blog and I'm getting a bit curious now

i am always ready to talk about my favorite babygirl lol. i'll try not to get too spoilery in case you ever read the book, cause it really is fantastic. if you do ever read it tho, i think the main tws are implied religious/child abuse and suicide

anyway, the very first line's introducing Eleanor is so good. "The only person in the world she genuinely hated, now that her mother was dead, was her sister."

she spent much of her adult life caring for her sick mother, to the point where she became a shut in. it's left her kind of immature, and unsure of how to deal with other people. she lives with her sister, her brother in law, and her young niece. given that this is set in the late 50s, they all seem to look down on her as an unmarried woman, and she's not left with a lot of options. she's offered to stay at hill house, and secretly takes the car her and her sister share to get there

basically, this doctor invited some people to stay at a haunted house and record any supernatural happenings. the main cast is:

Dr Montague: they guy who invited them. he takes on a sort of dad fiend role? the way the characters almost seem to play house with each other is def a thing in the book

Luke Sanderson: rich young dude who's pretty immature and lax. his family owns hill house, and they sent him to stay technically as a chaperone of sorts, but moreso to try and get him to be more responsible

and then there's Theodora: no canonical last name, and reads aggressively as queer in some way. she had a major, break up style falling out with a friend/roomate of unspecified gender, which prompted her to come to Hill House

while there, Eleanor craves connection, she's a deeply lonely person, but she doesn't know how to deal with people. she's left constantly feeling like an outsider, and the book is intentionally vague on what the group seems to think of her

there's also a part of Eleanor that wants to be taken care of, given that she's been a caretaker for years, but she despises being infantilized, which is how she's often left feeling.

she has an intense relationship with Theo, which reads as her being a repressed lesbian with internalized homophobia. she's simultaneously repulsed and obsessed with her. Theo seems to treat it like a summer fling, or just having fun flirting, but Elanor takes it deeply seriously.

Theo and Luke seem to flirt sometimes too, and it reads as both of them just fucking around and having fun for the summer, but Eleanor gets pretty jealous at times. she claims to have a thing for Luke, but only thinks about him with contempt. don't get me wrong, she thinks really nasty things about Theodora, but it's clear they have a lot more of an actual relationship

spoiling this line cause it's probably one of my all time favs in the book. it's just so delicious. they're dynamic is honestly insane

anyways, Eleanor's loneliness and isolation from the group starts to grow, and it seems like the house preys on her for it. it's like a predator circling her, and you can feel it

Eleanor's desperate for connection, and something that understands her, and she starts to believe she's found it in the house. her name is pretty important here too. she doesn't like to go by Nell/Nellie, but that's often what the group calls her. especially Theo. i think it plays into the Infantilization thing. but the house knows her name, and calls her by Eleanor.

i'm totally rambling rn, but i don't wanna spoil anything too too major. but one of Shirley Jackson's strong suits is absolutely her characters. there's so many layers to them, and that really applies to Eleanor. i can't recommend the book enough, it is always rotating in my brain. have a bonus Luke and Elanor scene since i don't know how to end this off lol

Patches:

3) What first drew you to this character?

Definitely his dialogue combined with his amazing voice acting. William Vanderpuye does a phenomenal job in making Patches sound so gleefully conniving in all his deadly trickery while still coming across as charming despite it all.

I also found his ideology compelling in how unexpectedly complex it got even when compared to other Demon's Souls/Dark Souls characters. Sure he's a dirty trickster who tries to kill you for your trinkets, but he also goes out of his way to warn you about harmful NPC's and hates clerics with the passion of a thousand suns.

The fact that telling him you're a cleric in DS1 makes him want to risk his own life just to kill you with his own two hands is such a unique event in that games that really makes him feel more like an individual with his own goals, something DS1 is already good at but this is easily one of the stronger examples. It made me want to learn more about what the hell this guy's deal was.

5) If this character were a woman, would you honestly still like them? Or in reverse, what if they were a man?

Considering about 60% of my enjoyment of Patches comes from his voice acting, her hypothetical voice actress would need to put on a similar performance to Mr. Vanderpuye for me to still like her just as much. That's really it, though. Him being a man isn't my #1 factor for loving him.

Now if the question was actually meant to be would I still love Patches if she transitioned, the answer is an obvious yes! 🥚✨

Daniil Dankovsky (Out of the three healers + Aglaya and Aspity he beats them out solely for how I fantasized about him helping me heal my injured leg whenever I had panic-induced thoughts of dying):

30) Are you especially sensitive about this character?

In some ways I am. Like you, I get suspicious of people disliking him for his more "socially inept" traits (i.e. his autistic-coded moments). Even though IPL never confirmed it, Daniil does genuinely comes across as one of the most autistic-coded characters I've seen in any piece of media I've gotten into, so sometimes I may get a little defensive of any remarks of how "cold" or "uncaring" he is when he's clearly not.

...Although even taking away any autistic readings of his character a lot of those claims of him being an careless human being are STILL really bad misreadings of his character anyway, so I always gotta be on high alert!

When I started shipping it if I did: Probably when I first joined the fandom? I think I started shipping it pretty early on, and I watched the entire series with @skittlescripts within two days. I think I thought about it during the Macaque episode (and according to a pic i took, I watched it on Oct 7, 2022) and it probably got solidified in Shadow Play (which I watched either the same day or the next day) or during the s3 specials. So I've been shipping it fully since the second week of October 2022. Bet you weren't expecting an exact date lmao

My thoughts: I LOVE IT. I know a lot of people don't really ship it, and that's fine. It's not for everyone. But I've always loved their dynamic. ESPECIALLY with their history. Maybe that's just the angst writer in me tho

What makes me happy about them: Their bickering. Idk why, but I love the fics that have them going back and forth with no real heat in their insults. It's their love language <3

What makes me sad about them: Their history with each other. How both of them lost each others trust. How Macaque wants Wukong to hurt the way he does. How Wukong regrets what he did but doesn't know how to say it. They are both so extremely sad, and I love them for it.

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: Uhhhh I honestly have no idea? I've been thinking about it through the days and I just can't think of one. Maybe Macaque being purely bad? But I think that ties more into me liking soft mac and hating hurt no comfort. But idk.

Things I look for in fanfic: TEARS. FLUFF. FORGIVENESS. ANGST AND PAIN, BOTH PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL. Give me Wukong protecting Macaque without a second thought. Give me Macaque taking a hit for Wukong out of habit but not regretting it. Give me one or both of them going to MK for advice cuz they don't know how to handle their feelings. GIVE ME THE GAY MONKEYS BEING GROSSLY IN LOVE.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Macaque - Tang. Inkypages is very cute to me and I love it Wukong - uhhh... I don't really know, actually. I don't think I ship him with anyone else? Maybe Tang as well? I'm also chill with him and Tripitaka, but only sometimes.

My happily ever after for them: They finally talk things out and move on. Macaque moves back to FFM, they both don't use their glamours anymore (at the very least not around each other) and they just live the retired life they deserve. Getting fat off fruit till the end of forever 🥺

Who is the big spoon/little spoon: I think they switch from time to time. Wukong likes being big spoon though. And I hc that Wukong runs hot and Macaque runs cold, so Mac is def little spoon during winter.

What is their favorite non-sexual activity: Honestly, I can see them really liking just sun bathing in the grass together. Just them, the sunshine, and a slight breeze.

Sandy

How I feel about this character: I adore Sandy. I will protect him with my life. Sweet summer boy. Man? Sweet summer blue guy. I love him.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Him and Hunstman are def my fav, but I also low-key ship Lunartides (him and Macaque) and Fishballnoodle (i think that's the name? Him, Pigsy, and Tang)

My non-romantic OTP for this character: The Sandwich trio of course. Him, Pigsy, and Tang all went to college together and I love them.

My unpopular opinion about this character: Uhhhh I'm not sure I have one? The only thing I can think of is that he's my last fav of the gang. Not least fav, just... if I could get merch of everyone in the gang, I'd probably end up getting his last. I DO love Sandy very very much, but I also like other character way more. (I feel like I'm committing a sin when I say that I'm sorry Sandy 😭

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: SHOW ME COLLEGE SANDY. I want to see his healing journey. I want to see him having a falling out with Tang and Pigsy. I want to see all the flashbacks!!

My OTP: SILKTEA SILKTEA SILKTEA. Huntsman is so down bad for this dude it's insane. I also think Sandly honestly didn't realize Huntsman's feelings for him at first. Idk why, but I feel like Huntsman kept trying to drop hints and Sandy was just like ":D You want more tea?" and Huntsman has to flat out say "No, I want YOU! >///<"

Give me your fictional family history for Shawn and the Undertaker.

So I did do a single dad au for shawn in which he was a teen dad that ended up with John after the mothers parents bascially said she has more of a future than you so you have to have the kid. Then obviously taker and shawn meet in the wwe and Leon and cassie come along. In that au there would be a 18 year gap between Leon and John. As Leon is born in 2000, cassie 2005 and John 1982. So yeah, it is a big age gap but taker and shawn only get serious after shawn gets clean and well Leon comes along.

But obviously I'm down to hear your idea because in literally any other au I have never thought about how John fits in at all.

NO BECAUSE KUNIGAMI VS ISAGI RIVALRY COULD’VE BEEN SO GOOD it would’ve built up the hype for kuni sm more and him feel much more relevant imo!! honestly along with wanting to know what wc is all about i’ve always wanted to know noel noa’s reaction to it…like his biggest rival from the past has destroyed this child’s body and life and future in order to make a copy of him THAT’S LEGIT INSANE??? kaneshiro could’ve given us such a scrumptious kuni and noa dynamic and then he just didn’t 😭

honestly i think one of the main problems w bllk is that kaneshiro is spreading the cast too thin and making people care about too many characters but it’s impossible to effectively manage such a huge cast given the premise of the story and still have emotional impact when stuff happens to them and that also means that characters aside from the protagonist aren’t given a ton of fleshing out (this is relatively common in shounen sadly…jjk had a similar issue but almost to the next level) where by focusing on lesser characters and just giving them insane depth the story would’ve felt much stronger ☝🏻 like realistically there’s 0 reason for kurona to exist in nel when reo (as per our earlier convos) or yukimiya could’ve easily taken that role and had their characters developed much more!! kiyora could also have been replaced with yukimiya (as much as i love him) and tbh?? get sendou out of ubers and focus more on aryu (how’d he go from number 2 in scoring goals to a defensive player?? flesh him out more instead of sendou literally nobody cares abt him…hot take but only memorable u20 players were aiku sae and shidou the rest did not need to be there), get rid of tokimitsu entirely (show how his nervous personality doesn’t jive with egoism) and give zantetsu + karasu more opportunities to shine in pxg (honestly if they wanted to keep the cutthroat feel of second selection then get rid of nanase too and show how kindness doesn’t cut it in bllk where you need to be insane; that way the cast is still large but these characters aren’t fighting for a main spot they’re more naruhaya-esque) 😰 and another hot take but they should’ve saved all of the other ng11s besides sae until the world cup arc (so no kaiser and lorenzo in nel) to really build the hype and stakes of the wc because rn it’s like…ok the bllkers have already managed to beat lorenzo and the whole kaisagi rivalry is going on so the ng11s don’t feel as threatening?? whereas they could’ve been a really cool obstacle in the wc and would’ve provided a baddie of the week feel and higher stakes without it being boring or random since they’ve been so foreshadowed already with sae

i agree i rlly like the terminally ill aspect it also explains why his pokémon are willing to go along with his possessed body (they’re not able to accept that he’s gone) as well as why isagi knows so much without him being a villain…it’s also just sad to think about like he didn’t want his family to worry about him but he wanted to accomplish his goals so he just pushed forward until he literally couldn’t anymore 😭 also now i’m realizing lowkey kunigami would fit better in barou’s role (given the whole canonical wildcard thing being similar to the possession) however idc because i like barou more

yeahhh unfortunately fandom people can be a little weird to say the least and especially now that i have a decent amt of followers i know there are going to be interesting individuals in my comments so it’s not even worth it to not tag…okay but hear me out i wasn’t even thinking about this when i assigned teams (nagi got his team based on cuddly fluffy vibes and barou got his team as all dark types because of his “villain king” thing and reader was forced to have one of the same pokémon as him for the sibling theme…of barou’s team i liked houndoom the most so that’s what reader got) BUT the parallels between nagi’s starter being arcanine and reader’s being houndoom kinda go crazy?? like they both have huge fiery dogs but as per the pokédex arcanine symbolizes loyalty justice protection etc and houndoom is like death hell horror and whatnot 😭 however as we know nagi’s aura is death and reader’s character’s main theme is love (for barou, for her pokémon, etc) so narratively nagi x reader would be so good…especially if they’re each other’s “rivals” but they’re not really rivals and half of the time are helping each other out…there’s a vision here and it’s cooking imo 🤩 ALSO i’m thinking…hear me out…karasu reminds reader of barou so he becomes like her surrogate older brother while they’re searching for barou and reader is the annoying little sibling karasu never had which makes him respect yayoi more and teaches him responsibility and maturity which in turn makes yayoi finally respect him too 🤔

honestly galvantula is such a random pokémon but realistically in terms of type matchups it’s absolutely CARRYING reader against barou’s team considering dark is weak to bug 😭 honestly it’s such a cool little pokémon i think it’s so fun for her to have it on her team!! and the gyarados plot line is going to be so entertaining (basically she gets scammed into trading a freshly caught pokémon for a magikarp and shenanigans ensue) that i think the basicness is excusable

otoya constantly getting girls via his fairy type pokémon vs reader and tullia being like “ladies STAY AWAY” who wins 😭⁉️ and agreed breloom + yuki goes so hard…tbh i rlly like steelix and yuki too it works surprisingly well

hiori and ice types just go so well together (even though he only has one on his team I think 😭) and agreed i can see him retiring from battling after his arc w reader and co and following his actual passion of helping endangered pokémon instead of listening to his parents (maybe karasu inspires him because he also stood up to his family [yayoi] and that gives hiori the courage to do the same)

gen six is where i left off!! i played gen seven (namely moon and a bit of ultra moon) but i didn’t like them that much so as far as i and this au are concerned the pokémon verse ended with xy/oras 🤩 omg wait aryu as a pokémon groomer slays…maybe he’s the one yuki takes his pokémon to before contests?? and perhaps the itoshi bros are mentioned in passing as gym leaders in another region…kaiser as noel noa’s apprentice who’s going to be a new e4 member like isagi (but a bitchier one who never knew barou and never directly interacts with reader) and same with bachira + kunigami (kaiser to replace noel noa, bachira to replace lavinho, kunigami to replace chris prince, and isagi to replace snuffy) there’s just so many different roles that characters can play!! the world building would be so fun

NO BECAUSE LISTEN THE TIK TOK AUDIOS ARE BURSTING WITH POTENTIAL FOR THE POKÉMON AU i’m getting soooo many ideas for the story now!! like the entire gyarados arc, the aegislash arc (this one goes crazy because it’s basically “reader and nagi somehow end up in a period drama for an entire arc” yet it makes perfect sense given the pokémon verse and the backstory), EVERYTHING with barou especially the final fight between the cousins (i’ve decided they’ll be cousins but as close as siblings!! so y/n’s mother is barou’s father’s sister and her houndoom is barou’s houndoom’s sister so it’s like three generations of brother/sister-esque bonds making up the story), the random evil team encounters…i’m sure you saw but i put requests on hold for a few reasons: so i can finish the ones i have, work on the oaeu, AND also start this story hopefully!! also i want to deny people from requesting for a bit so the hype is built for my 1k event whenever we reach that milestone FJDJSJSJ
