first period i had an ap chem quiz which i think i did well on. apparently the teacher's kid was sick this morning so she had to call in a sub last minute. so for the first few minutes of class we had no sub. the sub that did come in gave us 15(!) minutes to study and we took the quiz which took us 45 minutes. he played classical music in the background which was nice. we were supposed to take notes over the next topic but i didn't because i had an apush test the next period. apparently the other apush teacher gave his students the LEQ prompt on wednesday which was the same prompt we went over as practice in class.

apush test was *okay* but not great. i didn't do as well as i usually did and i thjnk thats because this was the first unit i stopped reading the actual textbook and resorted to apnotes.net . i had never done a graded LEQ before so i am hoping and praying that i did everything correctly because I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IM DOING!! but assuming i got a full score on the LEQ i got a 90% w/o the curve so its fine.

ap lang was good we got to have a discussion over tbe great gatsby and after lunch we read for an hour. the book is pretty interesting but i realize during discussion time i don't have as in depth of a perception as i think i do/should so...//.............

ap calc I FUCKJING HATE AP CALC AB. teacher just went over questions over the homework, quiz and review for 90 minutes it was actual torture and by the end i was EXHAUSTED.

i highkey have so much work to do over the weekend i am currently procrastinating so hard right now. i am also shitting bricks at the prospect of performing my solo for ISSMA in about a month. THIS WILL ONLY GET WORSE!!! YAY!!!

i fear i feel like i dont need to go to school. majority of my classes either everything is self study/i already learned it/i have very little use for it (religion…). and like most of my teachers are so bad that im not learning anything in their class anyways why waste my time by being there. unfortunately this is high school and attendance is kind of important so im going to cherish my sickness and skip. it’s so peaceful being able to control my own schedule and time and take a nap

i fucking HATE cornell notes. the style is rigid and strict and it doesnt give me enough room to write down whats important, and too much room for information that doesnt really matter (at least to me). for me, it makes taking notes a hassle and makes it even more difficult to understand what the fuck i actually wrote down, its outdated and infuriating and theres a complete lack of wiggle room for extra relevant information later on. i hate it, like it feel physically unpleasant for me. a had a a teacher in 6th grade who mandated taking notes cornell style and ive detested it ever since

wonyoung: an ap lit baddie :3 literally ap lit and lang had nothing on her she finished her frqs so fast the proctors were scared. wants to be a lit professor!! 4.4 GPA

sunghoon: crazy good at math, took precalc his freshman year but the school realized he wasn’t supposed to be there so they didn’t let him take calc ab until now. 4.4 GPA if he says anything else he’s lying

jake: physics nerd.. basically a precursor to laws of motion!jake LOL 4.1 GPA because he read a prompt wrong on a lit final and got a B

jay: loves history and got a 5 on the apush exam EASY!! 4.23 GPA but hates studying so how does he even do it
