Not gonna lie, I think a big part of this might be a Vax issue?

Like. Stream Vax is great and complicated and flawed! And meshes with Keyleth beautifully because of their respective strengths and weaknesses and hangups! Part of why they have so much time between the kiss and getting together is because as the situation changes their respective reservations/concerns do too, and it takes a while to align and that's Interesting!

Vax in TLOVM feels a lot like the fandom caricature of Vax. A brooding black hole who is sad and mopey and sometimes says something Deep or Hilarious, but only sometimes because he is Brooding and Tragic, and has given 1000% of his life to the Raven Queen. When that's... really not who he is (and I don't think Keyleth would be in love with that version of Vax either).

I'd hoped that after Season 2 'the Vax and Scanlan season', Season 3 would balance things better. Especially after Vex and Keyleth's arcs each getting shunted into single episodes, and Vax cannibalized the acquisition of Trinket. But... well.

If this is how they're juggling Vax and Vaxleth now (by just holding Keyleth's ball in one hand and yeeting Vax's comically high over and over), I'm worried about how they'll do in a hypothetical season 4 or 5 when things get *very* delicate.

(To be clear I don't think this is a Liam issue, I think it's a writing/pacing issue, and them trying to keep the Raven Queen angle very much at the forefront. When, I dunno, Vax could have gotten visions about Percy or Scanlan or both to fuss over at some other point, or about all the deaths Raishan caused. Matron why did you cockblock them with a vision like that, seriously. rude!)

to be totally honest i don't know if i've spent enough minutes of my life thinking about vax to give a good answer to this, but i totally agree that there's no way to know how they're gonna do future vaxleth scenes when they're approaching it quite differently here. i was already Very surprised by how different these first three eps are from the events of the stream so it kinda feels like we're just rewriting the campaign at this point, and the jury's still out on whether or not that's overall a good or bad thing, i think

Drawing the Sides in outfits I own, Part 2: The Creativitwins, Remus and Roman!! Part 1: Patton So I kind of alluded to it in my last post but I had these two sketched up while drawing Patton and thought I'd clean them up for posting too! Roman's outfit is a typical autumn/spring outfit for me (minus the sword) of blue jeans, green trainers and my comfy bomber jacket. Remus' on the other hand is a casual party outfit, of chunky studded belt, black ankle boots, fishnets and vest with a funny slogan. Hope you enjoy! anyways i wanted to do a lil compilation post on the defunct houses. let's see how much i remember of what i already typed

spoilers through ep 14

so this post is going to be a lot more conjecture than the other ones simply because we don't have nearly as much to go on. i'm looking to compile what little we have and my guesses based on names, and then i'll be updating as we get more information.

we first hear about the defunct houses when mc is in the library doing research. ngl when i saw that there was 10 houses i was like oh god even MORE names to remember now! but thankfully we don't have any! everyone transferred out of them.

(i do, however, have a sneaking suspicion they'll add more later on. obey me did, and if the story goes how i'm predicting, we'll follow mc through the start of the time loop and go back far enough to see the houses before they were disbanded.)

all we know is that the houses went defunct last year. the timeline so far is a little ambiguous about what happened when, but here's how i have it in my head:

one eyed sleeping beauty murder -> whatever betrayal involving jin and the traitor -> the clash -> houses going defunct and people transferring

if anyone has any canon evidence saying otherwise PLEASE send it my way!! i'm going to be doing a full reread when i get started on character theories, but i can only do so much at the same time on my phone at work lmao

the three houses are clementia, ultio, and dionysia. interestingly, they're all named after gods. clementia and ultio are both roman goddesses, and dionysus is a greek god (but he did have a roman counterpart named bacchus.)

let's get into it

clementia

this is the house we've heard the most about so far in the story. i think that's for one of two reasons, either A. it's more important to the story and what happened last year, or B. it's just where mc lives so it comes up a lot. my bet's on the former, but i honestly wouldn't be surprised if there's a secret third option: C. it had a huge role to play last year but won't be major going forward, so they're gonna tell us more about it now and then we'll learn about the other two later

clementia was located in the absolutely fucked up church mc lives in right now. i still can't believe she's just living like that lmao it kills me every time i think about it.

though i do wonder if it has to do with what happened last year. i mean, obviously it got destroyed in the clash last year, we know that (at least i think we do), but maybe the manner in which it was destroyed makes it somewhat unfixable.

i know there's folk tales out there of objects and places being seals of sorts and if they're broken, something bad is unleashed. i don't think that's actually what's happening, but mc did make a point to say that the church still hasn't been fixed even though the rest of the campus got fixed after jiro's fight with the big anomaly. perhaps it has to be cleansed before it can be fixed? but if the holy house is gone, who else can do that?

like i mentioned, clementia is a roman goddess. she was the personification of mercy, gentleness, forbearance, clemency, forgiveness etc etc. this fits with what we know so far, especially because she also represents absolution, salvation, and redemption. a couple gen ed vagastrom students said they used to go to clementia for exorcisms, and rui spent some time there after he was cursed. haku was originally a clementia student, and his family has a prominent shrine and he has quite a lot if experience with spirits and laying them to rest

this pretty much solidifies clementia as the holy house, so to speak, on campus, especially with their dorm being a church. their job was probably centered around purification and spiritual healing while mortkranken handled the physical healing.

a quick note regarding clementia the goddess and her history: she was never a major goddess. like, at all. there's very little known about her cult, and in fact, a lot of evidence points to her just kind of being used as a symbol for the rulers to make themselves look better to the people. several of the roman emporers and dictators used her in their symbols and coinage to make themselves appear merciful. in fact, the year that the senate voted that julius caesar was a god with his own priest, they were going to build a temple with a statue of him and clementia holding hands as equals. and then a few months later he was stabbed to death!

if this is translated into tkdb's story at all, i could see clementia being caught in the crossfire between the faculty and the ghouls. they're a neutral party, focused on healing, and because the ghouls rely on them and the school is holding them up as a model house--boom. friendly fire from both sides. could have been from multiple ghoul houses as well, if the faculty was playing snake in the grass.

or, as is so common, those with a holier than thou attitude are quickly brought to heel by the common man

either way, we ended up with an empty and broken church and one less house of healing.

ultio

one of the ones we know next to nothing about! so feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, but ultio was the one that had the prison below it. it's across the lake from hotarubi--god i want a map so bad--and it looked like it had the same mists. i would love that tbh, spooky battlefield vibes.

in a historical context, ultio was another roman goddess who was more a personification of values than an actual goddess that we think of in modern media. she represented vengeance and was typically placed inside already existing altars and temples of mars, the roman god of war. super cool fact, she was the direct counterpart to clementia. roman rulers were told to always hold both ultio and clementia in equal respect, otherwise righteous vengeance would become its more negative version, revenge.

and in roman culture, it ultimately did. julius caesar had done so much pr to have clementia associated with him that his successor, augustus, began promoting ultio until mars was once more one of the most prominent gods and the roman military was out conquering again. clementia all but faded into obscurity after that.

but we're talking about a mobile gacha game, not the fall of the roman empire.

having both ultio and clementia on campus is so interesting to me, especially when you take into account the faculty's stance on anomalies. in lyca's case, for example, they were perfectly content to leave him locked up forever and have stated that if they even get the hint that he's done something, he's done for. looking at how trigger happy most of the ghouls are and the lax consequences on them killing anomalies, i'm willing to bet that reflects how their stance has been for a few years now. ultio became less about the righteous side, containment and preservation, and became its darker side: imprisonment.

darkwick became more about containing and destroying than actually researching and understanding, and that's why haru's stance is framed as being the odd one out. saw an incredible theory post by @labulemon about haru having been originally in ultio and i think i'm fully on board. from a thematic sense, it's so easy to see someone like haru being in ultio (the prison place) and being like "wait...why are we treating these living creatures like this?" and ending up the sole caretaker of jabberwock like that.

weird thought i just had typing that; what if towa was another one that was in the cages? like it was another suba and lyca situation: there was a weird ass creature stuck in a cage and haru broke him out and now towa helps him run jabberwock. (i have another theory post coming about how i don't think towa is actually a ghoul, i think he's something else.)

ultio is now an abandoned prison...or so we're supposed to think. there's other anomalies still down there even though we broke lyca out. who's taking care of them? who put them there? if ultio is gone, why are they still locked up?

if ultio isn't fully gone, who's to say the other two aren't either?

dionysia

this is the third house and the one with the least amount of information on it. as far as i'm aware, the only time it's mentioned is when tohma says something like "their campus is this way" when we spot him out at night. why's that shady man going there? what's he investigating?

dionysia is also named after a god, dionysus. i could write entire essays on what he as a god represented to the people, but i'll keep it to basics (and historical context) for now.

dionysus was the greek god of revelry, wine, and ecstasy. good times and good wine. he's one also with a bit of a dual nature to him. greeks believed you should let loose and have fun and relax, but if you leaned too far into excess, you were at risk of being lost to madness. in a few accounts, however, he's also referred to as the dying and rising god and acts as a communicator between the living and dead. he's one of the gods that's had so many tellings and retellings that just about anything about him could be true, and even has a crazy amount of parallels to christianity. kind of compelling for a god of ecstasy and madness to have layers upon layers of versions of himself.

zero idea how this plays into their role on campus. each house tends to have a specialty of some sort that vaguely relates to their name (jabberwock is creatures, mortkranken is illnesses, etc) so i suppose dionysia could have dealt with anomalies that affected the mind and emotions? like for instance the cat, from the latest jabberwock episode, that drove people mad. maybe they could have helped with that. or maybe even the plants, and that's why rui took them over. he was the god of wine and was very "back to your roots naked in nature" for his worship, maybe dionysia students were the farmers.

bacchanalias were actually outlawed by the government at one point in time, and i do think it's worth saying that lots of roman gods were depicted wearing laurel leaves. interesting that the clash happened and got rid of not only the party house but the party too

i think dionysia could have gone either way. it feels more ghoul aligned to me, like i get the vibe that their wild and whimsical nature wouldn't have been easily held down by the faculty, but i could also see these shady teachers being like "hey go fuck with their heads"

there's what i have on the three houses! not a lot, mostly vague guesses and their historical correlations. it's fun to see what each theory u post leads to another. this one, now, is going to have me looking a lot more into haru and also the chapter where we found lyca.

Ah, see that's where i disagree (respectfully, of course).

Yes, the narrative absolves Stede of Nigel's death, but not on a technicality of whether or not he "actually" caused his demise. Stede is absolved because Nigel was a dick and got what was coming for him. On this show, bigots are wasted and no one needs to feel bad about it.

Nigel's death made Stede realize he is capable of terrible things. This isn't a terrible thing, but leaving his family was. Stede flashes back to Mary as he goes to his execution; that's the guilt that isn't resolved, that's the one morally wrong thing he did, this is what he feels he deserves to be executed for.

But! On the other hand killing Nigel (for whatever value of the word) is probably the first time in his life Stede defends himself against abuse. It is set up by showing us flashbacks to Stede's childhood, moments in his life where he was powerless, a victim of violence. He hits Nigel in the head and suddenly, isn't a victim anymore.

He's someone who can use violence to protect himself and others.

The scene with Ned is set up very similarly to the one with Nigel, I'd say. Both times, his ship is boarded. Both times, the catalyst is the soon-to-be-dead man taunting and humiliating Stede, insulting his friends. Ned, as I mentioned, uses racially charged insults against Ed, something that's always been a crime worthy of death on this show, not to mention the other explicit damage he does.

Of course the scenes aren't the same: Stede now knows for sure that hitting someone in the head with a heavy object will kill them, for one. Stede is, as you correctly point out, safe. He is warned against going through with it (when Ed says "I don't respect you enough to kill you", part of what that means is "You're not worth the dmaage killing you would do to me", don't you agree?).

There's a brief flashback to child!Stede's worst moments before he kills Ned. He's not that child anymore. He can hit back now.

And he does.

(I wrote a bit more about how I think it fits into the ongoing theme of violence in ofmd here, but I think you won't agree with that either 😅)

I'm not saying this is a good course of action. I can understand why you do not like this. I, too, would have preferred it if this had been a moment for Stede to realize that violence is poison, but I also think he's not quite there yet.

All I'm saying is, that this, to me, is a believable progression of his character, and a believable way to set up conflict between the two protagonists.

...the way i interpreted the jayvik part is that this is going to be Arcane's version of the League lore when Viktor stole the magic thingy from Jayce in order to heal a bunch of people but Jayce misunderstood and thought those people were being violently experimented on by Viktor, killed them all and attacked Viktor himself, a tragic miscommunication rather than a direct fault from either one of them (altho it was clearly Jayce's fault lol... but also Viktor's methods were implied to be a little questionable due to possibility of mind-control after the successful operations + he was a bad communicator so it was still interesting and fun). Lines up pretty well, I guess we'll see though. Jayce's leg brace is a very interesting detail implying that he legit hanged out somewhere where he could have gotten his leg hurt and then fixed up, and yeah overall visually it IS satisfying that he grew closer to Viktor's original aesthetics, not sure what that's all going to be. And I think the rune in his arm is just doing what it originally did in Jayce's flashback when used by that mage, teleported him back ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ just bc it would suck if it's like ooh magically iNflUenCing him... I mean it did also shine a bit when he charged his hammer and he was all like 'noo' in the moment so eh.

Whatever the case, he should have definitely cried about it after the fact 🤔 I just hope it's not going to turn out that either a) Jayce was mind-controlled/manipulated and didn't mean to do all that, b) Viktor's powers are legit a bad thing making everyone into magic zombies/magic timebombs that would go off in a bit. Like what would be the point of that for their characters and for the moral of the story?.. So yeah REALLY hoping it's not that. So far b) seems a little too realistic ugh.

Hi!!!! We have Stills!!!

A) The Red Haired Lady is the villain. They made that very very obvious through pictures. (No like, they straight up made that storyline so obvious - she has a fight with her boss, her boss dismisses her, she goes to the lab where she steals some samples, sets a fire, and then walks out with her plan for revenge? If it's not something along those lines, I'll be shocked and pleasantly surprised.)

B) Big Emergency? I still think the 118 being trapped will be the minor of the two emergencies, given that they showed Chimney in the vent with the saw. I don't think there's a reason to go up there when there's a fire so they're trying to break out - now will they succeed is a different story. But with Red Haired Lady (Apparently her name is Moira?) if she does steal a virus. Oh boy. That would be a very major emergency especially if she stole a fatal one.

C) Ravi - it looks like this episode has Ravi struggling with something at the bus crash - it's unclear but it looks like Buck and Ravi debrief over this at a bar if I had to guess.

D) Madney-Henren Brunch??? It's so cuteeee. It looks like they're having a gender reveal, but the reveal is wrong? I've seen the suggestion of twins, which may account for the bump size. But, wouldn't they have caught it before this? I know there are instances of one twin hiding behind another, but those type of instances get rarer and rarer as technology improves. But we'll see! But I love seeing the kids!!

E) Eddie is very notably absent from all of these stills. I wonder why? (Gay Eddie???? I jest, but still.)

Here's my timeline based on the stills:

Brunch-> Bus Crash -> Buck and Ravi -> Lab Explosion -> 118 gets trapped in lab -> Army tents and realization that a virus has been taken.

O.S mentioned this set of episodes being one where Buck reconsiders something professionally - now it could be the bus crash makes him reconsider something, maybe Gerrard makes him an offer, or maybe Buck's lack of medical training in this scenario makes him feel kinda useless, all he can do is help Athena. Meanwhile, if Eddie comes back, he can assist with ill patients and help out there. Buck does not have that sort of medical knowledge.

The one wildcard continues to be Eddie - we haven't even gotten a hint of what he's doing through all this. This has to be the episode where he makes the choice to go back to LA, but again. I have no idea when and where he'll get there. It could be that Chris and Eddie make the conscious idea to move before all the virus stuff goes down. Or maybe the virus is what pushes Eddie to come back. (Here's the thing. There is no way that Eddie brings Chris to a city that may be infected with a virus and given that Eddie's statement last week of Christopher sleeping under his roof for the rest of his childhood, I doubt that he would leave Chris with his parents again. But we'll see.) The radio silence on Eddie the last time this happened was because he wasn't in the episode (although he was mentioned by name over 15 times), but this is too big of an emergency to not involve Eddie.

I know! And so many of them. I'm thinking that a part of those stills might be for 8x15 as well. There's just too many of them for one episode and since the main emergency will cross over to 15, it makes sense.

A) Yeah, it's pretty obvious that the Lady in Red has something to do with all of this. It's so obvious, just like it was obvious that Braeburn was the murderer a few episodes ago. 911 isn't very good at hiding their villains. 🤣

B) Yeah, I think the 118 being stuck in that building will be solved in 14 and then in 15 they'll have to work together to stop the Lady in Red from getting away with a virus or something.

C) When you look at the bts of this episode, you can clearly see Bobby running back to the car to get out a baby in a car seat. I'm thinking that maybe Ravi was so occupied with saving the driver that he forgot to check the back and missed the baby. He'll be beat up about it and Buck will take him out to talk to him, because he has been where Ravi is now.

D) That brunch / gender reveal party is so weird. We already know it's a boy, so why do they need a cake? I also thought of twins, but wouldn't the doctors in the hospital have seen this after Maddie's throat got sliced?

E) In this house we never jest about gay Eddie. 😂😂😂

At this point I'm hoping he's actually in the episode at all. It's so jam-packed with storylines that I keep struggling to figure out where he'll fit in.

My best guess is that he'll see the events in LA unfold on the news and he'll be in contact with Buck until something happens and he can't get a hold of Buck anymore.

But I also agree that this episode is too important to not include him. He is a main character and an important member of the 118 family. They will want him there for this. But how? 🤷‍♀️

As for Buck thinking about something professionally? I honestly haven't a clue. There's already so much going on that I wonder where he'll even start doubting his job? Maybe it'll be in episode 15?

They only sent out the screeners a little while ago as well, so why was that? What are they hiding???

How Many Prosthetics Do Amputees Need?? *The Reality of Amputee Prosthetics*

Another older video from Jo, which turned up after I rewatched that other one in a recent self-reblog.

Yeah, this is why I was so relieved to find out recently that here the system will apparently cover more than one full leg setup at a time, for different use cases, without any actual fighting required. (Plus evidently a swim fin foot, if I do end up wanting one.) And the prosthetist sounded like this was just a given. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Because different hardware is good for different uses, and a lot of the time pennypinching insurance companies and some other single-payer systems will only let you have one every few years. If you need more than one setup, you'd better make do with an old one that may be worn out and/or "just" not fit right anymore--or you'd better find some kind of grant or charity willing to fund something newer.

And we are talking about something roughly on par with a car in the US. So you can walk around. The special socks and stuff that you'd already have to use with a second prosthetic really ain't gonna account for that much of the cost estimate.

Feeling unfortunately lucky not to need to worry about that, AFAICT. Still waiting on the first socket to be built now, then I guess we'll see how many legs are forthcoming.

so the sixth blight might be the worst blight but i think it's in the speed at which things happen, not the actual destruction it ends up doing. yes the blight boils are their own kind of horror, but i will say that after 10-20-30 years of the taint affecting a place is looked as bad as d'meta's crossing, and would take centuries to even begin recovering.

it would probably also have time to spread across much vaster areas. the blight in vg seems fairly localized - all of arlathan isn't affected yet, and you can still have a picnic in the hinterlands we're not actually acknowledging that are we. i imagine those boils spread quickly but they don't actually mean the blight has a hold on the place they are, as they can be removed very easily without leaving much trace. it takes time for them to actually taint an area.

there's also the fact that in the hundreds of years the first blight lasted, societies crumbled at a structural level. for generations no one built or created or wrote or painted anything that wasn't useful to fight darkspawn, so the knowledge of how to do those things were lost. archives were lost with generations of archivists. i mean i guess we'll see what's left of the south ¯_(ツ)_/¯ but i tend to assume the damage is more surface level.

all this is to say, ameridan lived through a little more than 15 years of the second blight, and saw some of the worst of it fighting on the frontlines. the boils and some varieties of darkspawn are new but all of weisshaupt is a long flashback. as per usual he hasn't realized that the second blight remains a trauma until he's thrown into the middle of it and suddenly isn't sure what time he's in because the memories are so strong.

his experience fighting the blight on such a large scale and over a prolonged period of time becomes an asset, especially in verses where he's in the south rather than a companion to rook, because on those accounts he's more experienced than pretty much any warden although they of course have a lot of expertise he doesn't. but it's nto without reliving some painful memories he would have much rather kept repressed.

So we got a trailer thing on hazbin.

So it was delayed and is getting released in January (which is summer in my country ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ so she didn't technically lie) and its on Amazon prime, which some fans guessed already.

Animation is nice, I said my say too many times before on my thoughts on the character designs and Backgrounds. But kicker is (ಠ_ಠ) they got clearance for a so2. Is that a guarantee even if so1 is horrendous, we'll just have to see.

Also again the pacing was shit as always things moved way too fast and...fucking damn man 💀💀💀 this design is here, think shes an overlord but fuck I thought this design was buried long ago.

Satoru's apartment (Part 2)

We're back! After Part 1 covered the living room area and kitchen, we'll take a look at the bedrooms this time around!

This is Satoru's apartment that I built in TS4 based on my fic series Under the Cover of Shadows, and it's essentially what I imagine what Satoru's apartment would be like!

As a refresher, this is the layout of the place:

Let's go take a look at Satoru's own bedroom now, shall we?

This is it! It's pretty open and spacious (I struggled a lot making it, and I'm not sure I'm 100% satisfied with it even now lmao), and following the same idea that I mentioned in Part 1, that Satoru in general doesn't populate his place with a lot of personal items, it's much of the same here. There are a few every day items scattered around, like slippers, wallet, phone, tablet and whatnot, but most of his precious keepsakes are kept secure and out of sight.

(The photo strips he took with Yura during that one summer vacation are kept in his bedside table drawer. He likes to look at it every now and then.)

(Also Yura tends to sleep on the left side of the bed and Satoru on the right, and as you may notice, it's her side that has an alarm clock on it lol)

Here is Satoru's bathroom, and you can see it was actually built like a western-style one instead of the Japanese-style bathrooms he grew up with in the Gojo Estate. I guess Satoru just wanted something different for once ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

(This is also the biggest bathtub I could find to put in there, but I still imagined it even bigger ʘ‿ʘ✿)

Nowadays, there's a lot of Yura's stuff scattered in his bathroom, and while Satoru wasn't too used to sharing a space with someone else at first, he actually got used to it pretty quickly.

And this is Satoru's closet! Just imagine there are a lot more clothes in there lmao, all of it designer stuff because of course.

Those rack/shelves on the right are essentially all Yura's stuff now. She used to bring in an overnight bag when they got started with their "arrangement", but then she slowly started leaving more and more stuff behind so now she doesn't really need an overnight bag anymore. She could comfortably spend several days in his place without needing to go back to her own apartment lol

Now on to the guest bedroom!

This is where Yura stayed in a couple of times, in particular before and after her trip to New York. Not a lot of people have stayed in this bedroom, to be honest. Satoru doesn't usually have people over aside from Yura, Shoko, or the Fushiguros.

(I hadn't initially envisioned the desk there, but actually building it made that area feel so empty lol. So I thought it fit nicely!)

And finally, the guest bathroom. There was a particular scene in chapter 23 (The Aftermath p 1) of Out of the Shadows that has Yura having an emotional crisis in this very bathroom, and I think this must have been the first room of Satoru's apartment that I properly envisioned along with the guest bedroom! We only got to "see" his own bedroom much later, so I also didn't think it up until then.

Alright, there are still a few rooms left for me to post, but this is generally it! And boy oh boy did this entire apartment give so much trouble lmao and I'm not even done with it yet. It was really hard making things look somewhat closer to the picture I had in my head while working within the constraints of The Sims lol. I think this was especially daunting because it's supposed to be a ~luxury~ apartment, so I had try extra hard to make things look ~fancy~, but I was having a lot of fun! And I also downloaded SO MUCH stuff that my game looks completely different now lmao my inner architect was happy.

AUGH DickTim <3 the OTP of OTPs for me TBH... theyre so. <3333 and JayTim!!! I love them so dearly, JayTim was actually my first Robin ship. I was big into BatJokes when I first got into DC and that was pretty much my main thing I mostly only read comics with the Joker in them, but then I started getting into more broad stuff and reading stuff with Jason and Tim in it (Battle for the Cowl/Search for a Hero was one of the first comics I read outside of a random handful of stuff with the Joker in it LOL) and that's what got me super into the Robins and other Batman heroes.

I am. Very neutral on TimCass, I really like their flirtier interactions from before DC decided to make them more familial, but I would generally say that outside of that I prefer them as platonic... IDK I get that though. Sometimes you just do not like a ship. ALSO JaySteph!!! I am. Again. Extremely extremely neutral on JaySteph. I think I would like JaySteph more if Jason was a woman. Which is weird because I have a lot of het ships I adore. Also, I feel exactly the same way about JayDick. I can see why I would like them, I want to like them, they should in theory speak to me. But. I just... Nope. Maybe one day they will click for us and we'll be able to enjoy these ships in peace.

LOL that was my first thought when I saw this I was like damn you're not enjoying the het ships today huh. But tbf sometimes it just happens this way. I have some fandoms where all of my ships are F/F or M/M or M/F and I can't stand a lot of the ships of another category for whatever reason lol

2. Do you plan each chapter ahead or write as you go?

I usually start with an outline that maps things out chapter by chapter, but whether or not I stick to it is anyone's guess. I like to at least have a rough idea of what the full plot is going to be before I get started so I don't write myself into corners, but it happens sometimes anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anything that starts with "never" or "always". I think there are exceptions to every rule and writing is such an individualized process that we've just got to run with whatever works for us.
