don't you just love it when a series has a good ending that takes care of all of its characters, shows how their futures will look like, ties up all loose ends, reminisces about old times, references important moments from before, and brings back elements of the very first episode, giving a nice frame to the whole series?

having thoughts about the marinette and nathalie hug because like.
my god.
marinette's just had her world turned inside out
she's just a kid and how's she supposed to carry all this alone and what is she supposed to do and what does she tell adrien?
and then, suddenly, there's someone there to share the burden. an adult. someone who has a reputation for getting things done
so maybe, just this once, everything doesn't have to balance on marinette's shoulders alone
but it's nathalie--who, sure, adrien obviously cares about. but not someone marinette's at all close to. certainly not someone she probably thinks of as warm or parental or even very trustworthy. maybe marinette's even started to put the pieces together--if gabriel was monarch, then mayura must have been...??
those doubts seem insignificant when she actually sees nathalie
the last time marinette saw her, she was dying. and now marinette knows what gabriel wished for--at least some of it. she knows he did one good thing in the end. that he finally, to some degree, put adrien first
then another horrible truth dawns on marinette: nathalie doesn't know--of course she was aware gabriel was dying, but she still doesn't know he's dead
marinette's probably already thought up a hundred different ways she might break the news to adrien--even if she discarded them all just as quickly. she hasn't thought at all about breaking the news to nathalie
what's she supposed to say? however complicated things were in the end, gabriel was obviously someone nathalie cared about
marinette struggles to find the words, but nathalie just knows. she already suspected, because how would she be here if gabriel was as well? and now the truth's written all over marinette's face
it's not just marinette who needs that hug--though nathalie would probably never admit it, which is why it's marinette who's running to her
how many weeks has adrien been gushing to nathalie about marinette? about how she's so creative and strong and compassionate and full of love
and in that moment, nathalie understands

@zexalmonth day 9: gate. I love a crossover prompt!!! instead of letting the characters interact I mostly just wanted to draw yuma and astral in cure star and cure milky's outfits tho. the color schemes... 🥺
I love the series where a blue alien partners up with a pink haired protag with the space theme. B) no, but actually these series do have a lot in common and I think anyone whose a fan of one of them should def check out the other!! 🌟

Do your pets have a last name/surname, and if so, what is it?
If you don't have any pets currently but WOULD use one of these, feel free to answer accordingly.

I realized I made some notes on how different characters fight in mob psycho, and I never posted them. here you guys go, for any reference needs
Mob: mostly simple attacks, not very showy, just waves his hand and uses telekinesis/exorcizes something, doesn’t move around much. As ???%, much more destructive, psychic force seems to just emanate off of him and destroy everything
Teru: VERY mobile, throws himself around with telekinesis, puts his whole body into the attacks and tends to use moves from normal fights (punches, slaps, kicks, etc). Utilizes a variety of psychic techniques with flexibility, very creative. Piss stance, necktie sword. Much more flashy than Mob
Ritsu: uses powers to throw people/things around. While Mob and Teru attack with just psychic blasts, Ritsu tends to use his powers to grab other things as an attack (grabbing the delinquents and throwing them against each other, throwing the Claw guards against the wall, picking up cars to sandwich Shimazaki between them). Uses his environment creatively (fire extinguisher smoke screen against Shimazaki). More flashy than Mob, but not as mobile as Teru. Hand gestures for Drama
Shou: sneaky + speed + bomb!! Tries to be as evasive as possible using invisibility/speed (probably telekinetically enhanced?) to hit from behind, using either telekinetic force (his stomp in his introduction, the shockwave hit on ???%) or his charge bomb attack. Potentially uses speed/evasive moves as defense instead of the barriers we see most everyone else use
Serizawa: likes to channel his powers into an object (umbrella, business cards). Uses that object as a shield, sword, or something to blast psychic powers out of. Not very mobile in season two, moves around much more in the yokai fight. Not particularly flashy, but looks cool regardless
Reigen: deception/surprise!!! Either tricks people into thinking he’s going to do something else and then attacking, or just outright taking them by surprise and attacking before they know what’s going on. Usually doesn’t have a follow-up move, just does the one attack and hopes for the best. Prefers to bluff his way through a situation
