As a massive kh fan for years, there's something I really enjoy about how this imagine alone has managed to breach containment from the fandom to the rest of the internet so thoroughly. The thought that, for a not insignificant number of people, this image is the first and only thing they've seen of kingdom hearts gives me a strange sense of satisfaction. And I think that satisfaction comes from the fact that this entirely out-of-context image of a beloved childhood cartoon character telling a funny anime boy to step back and let him handle this while they're both standing in a sea of darkness really does sum up the entire franchise quite well.
