I've been looking for enamel pins, are there any artists you'd recommend?

Admittedly, I haven't bought any enamel pins in a hot second BUT STILL! I HAVE ARTISTS SAVED!!!!

every time artoftangmo has released the angel sets, I've backed the whole thing lol (reasons why I haven't bought pins in a while,) they're SO GOOD and right up my aesthetic. The mertal choices. The simple details. The wings. ten out of TANGMO!

Alum & Ink has. So many choices. Of all sorts of different techniques. I have the star chart pin and IT SPINS!!!!! IT'S A WORKING STAR CHART!!!! ON A PIN!!!!!! They have great examples of clear enamel usage, great soft enamel designs (so many pin sellers use a soft enamel pin as a cheaper way to make their designs that SHOULD be hard enamel and it just. Doesn't work.) that I actually like to look at lol Dangly charms pins?? Playing with different metals and line widths. So amazing. How do they do it all. Looking at their shop, they've added a lot of new designs too.....

Shattered Earth is who I first think of when I think of clear enamel because of their stained glass pins! I have the terrarium D20 pin and it's so pretty!!!! My fave pin from them is Bell Goose, from Untitled Goose Game. It's put away right now but IT DINGS! Fantastic design.

thisishannako doesn't look like they're very active online anymore and their shop is closed :( but I can't NOT mention the artist that got me obsessed with pins. I belonged to their pin club on patreon until they shut down the teir (understandably; they got a great job and couldn't keep up with monthly pin design and production I'm so happy for them!!!!) MidnightZone did one of my FAVORITE pin kickstarters, Take This, Travelers, a set of d&d weapons in pin form. I got the bow, the violin, and the rapier. The soft enamel and thick copper metal is PEAK design.

Coey and Shy have great.....I wouldn't call them creepy but they advertise a few of their designs as "occult", They pop up at cons in my area, and I always have to check them out. I thought they were one of the artists that did the pride collar pins but they're not on the shop? Luckily Jackal & Hare also does them, mine are put away so I'm not sure which artist I have lol

Did you know you can make pins out of WOOD?? mittiepaul has a wooden worm on a string pin. just saying. they're one of the many artists I miss from twitter lololol lots of cryptids.

When you both enter the building you’re met by Jean your boss and one of Ei’s agents for Scaramouche.

When you got to your titled room you see your swim wear on a hanger with a crochet top as an over shirt of the swimsuit. You put on the swim wear and sit in the swivel chair so your makeup artists can come and do your makeup.

You waited 6 minutes and she never showed. You exit the room.

“Uhm excuse me, my makeup artist is not here?” You say softly.

“My apologies I forgot to let you know that she could not make it. The photographer says apologetically.

“Somebody get Scaramouche.”

“Thats not really a compliment but i’ll take it.” You say to him through the mirror “Let’s go so we can get this over with.”

Hey how long have you been following f1? I started following in 2023 and I honestly got so shocked about lewis coming to ferrari. I didn't even thought this would be a real possibility.

It made me pretty upset in general, because I kind of feel charles was cheated lmao. He is there working hard to make them succeed and now they just bring Lewis out of nowhere, paying huge amounts of money to him and making him the ambassador of ferrari.

And like I saw in some of your posts now everyone is already giving lewis the credit for all the changes. I even saw someone on twitter say that maybe they brought Vasseur already thinking on bringing Lewis, since they also worked together in the past. Like Oh of course who cares about chuck. In their minds its like these.

So even if ferrari gets better in the next years everything will be attributed to him.

This is why I kind of hope he doesn't win the wdc. Honestly, maybe its because i'm new in f1 but I don't understand the hype about him getting the 8?? Like he already have 7!!! Thats a lot. I would much rather see the young generarion getting titles. I know he wants to break Schumacher records, but it doesnt seem like such an important think to me? Feels more like an ego trip. And even if you break the record, its not like Schumacher its going to be less than an icon. Senna, Proust, Lauda nobody cares if they have less championships, they are icons. And who knows, a few years later another driver might break this record, so then what? (Kind of hope for max to be the one breaking just for the funsies, since he doesn't seem to care that much about status)

So yeah I think i'm a bit angry with this lol. Like Lewis got his time in dominant mercedes winning titles with Bottas as second driver. Max is having this right now with Checo as second. I wish charles could have this, not have another first driver fighting for priority in the team. And who knows if they're going to develop the car more to his liking than charles. Since they're giving him such a fortune

i started following f1 in 2023 as well actually!! i was similarly shocked, but i’m chronically online and have family members who were in this longer than me so hopefully im caught up enough to respond to this properly. i don’t quite agree with the parts on Lewis and i’ll explain more below the cut

first, honestly i think its very fair to be upset for charles. in terms of public perception, the move does not currently reflect well on him and i’ve seen incredible amounts of slander, though that’s also on me for not blocking and muting enough, lol. the timing, after we all assumed the first driver war was over with the 4lyfe contract extension could actually not be worse and i believe that’s a big reason for the dismayed response. there are like ten thousand opinions on whether this is good or bad, im more inclined towards it being beneficial eventually because i believe charles can beat a 40yo lewis. i doubt i can add something that hasn’t already been said by countless others haha, this piece here is especially good. ultimately, the team dynamics of a ferrari 1644 pairing will be decided with their on track performance, so it comes down to having faith in Charles’ ability.

now onto Lewis, i’m actually quite invested in him getting his eighth, which is why i, personally, wanted to cry when i first heard the news. as for why fans want that eighth title for him so desperately- uhm. AD21.

additionally, we’ve talked a lot about the ferrari mythos, but Lewis’ personal brand also cannot be understated. for many, many people, Lewis himself is a dream. a black man from a working class background who uses his platform and prestige to advance inclusivity, having his name etched in history as the most successful f1 driver of all time is to me the best thing to ever come out of this racing series. i know its irritating to see Charles be dismissed like his past 5 years at ferrari is nothing, but that’s a fan response, likely not what’s happening behind the scenes, and it’s honestly very difficult to begrudge fans of a driver for wanting their driver to win more titles.

tbh, the hype toward Lewis’ move is in large part because of how successful his sudden jump to mercedes in 2013 was. there’s a belief that he can spot a competitive package before it presents itself, and i believe in it too. this also is a good thing for Charles. i think recency bias with regards to his bad luck and the frankly bizarre media favouritism shown to Carlos has made most people who don’t follow Charles like we do underestimate him.

lastly, no comments for the redbull situation and Max lol, but historically it isn’t true that a championship winning team needs to have a strong first driver and weaker second. one example would be Seb and Mark Webber in redbull. Mark Webber gets overshadowed a lot because of the 2010-2013 Seb dominance but he was a strong driver who helped redbull dominate those years. the other examples are actually all Lewis pairings, i think it’s recency bias again driving this narrative that Lewis had an easy time with his teammates. Lewis’ teammates have been like, incredibly stacked? let’s not engage in Nico Rosberg erasure even though he’s currently pretending like he has absolutely no stake in what’s probably the biggest move in Lewis’ career. there’s this post going around about how 1644 isn’t even a top3 Lewis pairing and unfortunately until Charlie wins that championship with ferrari i am objectively unable to disagree. before Lewis got Valterri as a teammate he was partnered with Alonso, Jenson Button and Nico R. he pretty much had incredible teammates for his first decade in f1. and we all know he rates Charles highly, so all respect to him for deciding to throw himself into a new challenge w ferrari.

i think actually the fact that pundits and reporters are suggesting this could be a all time great pairing is a sign of how highly Charles is rated even though he’s not a world champion yet.

at the end of this Lewis and Charles would have shared the rare experience of having multiple, multiple wdcs as teammates and that’s incredible. let’s not forget that Lewis named Charles as the young driver he sees the most of himself in. honestly, if i had to pick a world champ for Charles’ career to resemble, i’d rather it be Lewis who has come out on top of so many strong teammates than Max.

My thoughts for a rewrite for Yo-Kai watch Blastes 2 rewrite.

Recently i have been thinking about one of my main problems with Yo-kai watch (besides the fanbase on twitter) and that would be the Bundory family being perpetually trapped in Blasters 2 and specifically how i do have a rewrite in my head.

My main problem here is that because B2 has been disregarded they have been stuck there since. I know that Gowin, Catleen and Dandory have reappeared in Puni Puni but apart from that the rest of the family haven't appeared in any game since 2017. I feel like there should have been some sort of crossover with Yo-kai watch 3 as B2 is based on the treasure blasters mode from it and it would've possibly given them a bit more acknowledgement as well as possibly having localised names. I mean recently i found out that the family name has a spanish translation (Familia Feliante, apparently) on the wiki but am unsure whether this is legitimate or if someone was bored one day and decide to mess around.

I do favour Dandory over the rest as he is the main one, but over the years I have rewritten him inside my head, like i thought about this alot during 2020 and within the last year or so i've tried to make it more cohesive. I just like him and i don't know why, an unfortunately most of the results that come up for him online are f*tish art of him (on an unrelated note i wish that Charlie and the chocolate factory was never written)

(note that in this rewrite i have made Dandory 15 and have also aged the human characters up to 15 as well, because most shows sort of show 15 year olds fighting god at this point or something)

This is a basic outine.

Anyway my rewrite essentially goes that Catleen had made a deal with Kanendesu that it would take her first born child, but eventually she kept evading it with her family and having the other three children. However, Kanendesu eventually catches up to her and as punishment, possesses her before going off to the island where B2 takes place. This leaves Dandory with the family and his life becomes a living hell. Eventually Gustaf, tips him off about Nate so that he could go to him for help, and so Dandory flees to Springdale in the night, ending up collapsed on a random street only for Katie to trip over him in the morning. This then leads into the events of B2 but with Nate, Katie and Hailey exploring the temples with Dandory to find his mother. Eventually when they do find Catleen, and that she is currently possessed by Kanendesu, the other Bundory Family members reach them and in the squabble that ensues Kanendesu releases its control on Catleen and goes straight for Dandory and possesses him, leading to him being the first phase of the final boss.

So what else would i change and what would i keep?

Firstly he is still going to be the brains of the group as he would know the most about the temples that they will be going into.

Obviously with the mention of Nate, Katie and Hailey, they are the protagonists of this rewrite, I have more ideas for why Katie has a watch but not how the game explains it, but i also want to see Nate interact with humans more. This would also be a way to show Dandory healthier family relations.

Dandory isn't an actual criminal in this and was simply being used behind the scenes, when this is found out, Gowin is arrested (though he would eventually break out again).

Dandory is enrolled in the human's School afterwards and has to go by the name "Danny" whilst there, and is taken in by the Forester family (I would need to explain Katie and her family"s relationships with Yo-kai in the rewrite). The school in this is not the elementary school and is instead a high school for the arts.

Thats really all i have for now. This week i really have been thinking about how theres a lot of things that i would change in Yo-Kai watch. I haven't really kept up with the series in a while and i dont really follow anything from Shadowside onwards because its all kind of strange and I don't understand it (like what is a sorananki and why arte there three different versions of it and why is one kind of hot?). But Dandory will always have a special place in my heart and I really wish we got to see more of him and his family. There is his dragon variant and red cursed variant in puni puni but they are not exactly him. I don't care if he's a criminal or not, he deserved better from the narrative. Again just like with my previous Knight Light post i do want to think morer closely about this rewrite that i have as there is a lot that i want to say in regards to this series (Such as how Nate barely has friends like the most he interacts with other humans in the main story events are with his future daughter and so kid from the 60's) but thats all i have on Dandory for now.

his first thought is to get cooler clothes and bully a koopa who also got transformed

he buys a white suit "in memory of a rival" (bleck bias ass comic)

then koopa suggests he gets a haircut cause "his hair looks like his mane" and while it's never addressed directly it suggests bowser is trying to pass as a regular human guy since he asks for "something discreet"

afterwards he gets super sexy and makes all the girls that are definitely not me fawn

meanwhile luigi is suspicious that bowser just vanished, and mario is a non-character cause i had no idea how to write him when i was like, idk, 15? so hes just dismissive of his bro

so under the assumed name... marc... bowser infiltrates high toad society

for two years... "i hope i didn't do all of that for nothing"

at which point he gets introduced to the princess and immediately attempts to kidnap her

bowser is based actually cause he doesn't condone violence against women

mario and luigi learn of the kidnapping in the news and luigi is certain thats bowser. mario eats a lot cause i was cringe and didnt know what to do with his character

they go collect information. toadette blames herself bc she introduced marc to the princess

meanwhile, marc reveals (dun dun dun) that hes really bowser to peach

he gets creepy and handsy with her but she manages to break away

bowser is now cancelled on twitter

the super brothers find him at his... normal bowser castle, he didnt change his hideout. they ask him where the princess is, and bowser ends up revealing his identity, again

luigi does the actual dialogue while mario just says food puns (luigi bias ass comic)

some sort of... action scene follows, where mario defeats bowser with a food based attack (cringe ass fat jokes i had to unlearn later)

and we end on koopa running away with a "to be continued" speechbox

so. i did not find info of that old oc BUT i did find my human bowser comic, so who's really winning here

Ok so I said that i was gonna be on a hiatus but I just wanna speak some more since I woke up to more stuff so one here and on Twitter. I'm just gonna use my blog to talk about this more. Again, my messages are open but state your opinion kindly as I am stating mine and my status.

Being neutral means that you are in the middle. You are seeing both sides of the story but in this case we only know one side, the victims. Some of yall are reslly quick to throw around the word rapist apologist when people just wanna stay neutral and wait for his side. Sorry that some people don't wanna go off of Twitter and wait for a official statement. And I'm sorry it makes them seem like heartless beings but that are being neutral

Some of yall are being w e i r d for saying people who are neutral are defending him and are delusional and blind like what??? Sorry that some people want to wait and hear Percy's side before debating anything. Yes there is 'evidence' but quite frankly as i said in my last post it all seems thrown together. And one person doesn't want to release more evidence because its scary and he is a celebrity but also wants people to share and repost it?? Turning off your alarm, you take a few minutes to collect yourself and stretch. Barely any sleep once again but that’s an everyday thing now.. without Jimin. It’s been some rough months not having his body wrapped snugly onto yours. These days you long for his touch, but completely dread at the same time for very good reasons.

Your kitten greets you with small licks on your thigh in which in return you pet her head softly with a smile.

You sigh, and gently rub under them. Jimin is the cause of this. Why would he do this to you. Surely enough he would not like to see you like this at all. The worriedness he would have over you is huge. But he has moved on and you just have to accept it no matter how in-love you still are with him.

As you clean up around the living room, another ding from your phone occurs. A groan escapes your lips as you place the pillows back as they should be. In hopes of it just being your manager giving you some good news, you let out a sigh and plop yourself down on the grey suede couch. Three new messages. Jeon Jungkook, who has text you twice, and Ryan your bestfriend. 

‘‘ Damn it Ryan why must you consistently text me twenty four sev- “

“ Beause I need to know if you’re okay.”

You jump and drop your phone onto the hardwood floor from the voice that comes from around you.

“ Holy fucking shit you scared me! “  You whine, turning around to face your best-friend. She smiles and holds out her arms for a hug. You roll your eyes and open yours waiting for her embrace.

“ Oh i’ve missed you so so so so so so so-”

“ You just seen me yesterday..” Your voice sarcastic and bland as you let go of her. You sit on the couch first followed by Ryan sitting right next to you.

She looks good today, the navy blue coat she has on suits her very well. Although, you cannot figure out why she decided to wear leggings today. It’s going to rain a bit later but you disregard that seeing as though she’s the fashion deisgner and not you.

You. The model and seemingly ex girlfriend of one of the biggest solo idol in the world right now. Thats what they call you in the news, headlines in magazines, and real life as if you don’t have a real name and just was his acessory. Your modeling career had taken off way before dating him. The world, or Seoul to say the most, didn’t acklowledge you to that point yet. 

“ Okay but still. You know we should be roomates. It’ll be easier for me to watch over you. “

Your head turns towards her quickly shaking no, “ I don’t need to be looked over im 20 years old.”

Silence takes place for the next few seconds. You know what she’s going to say next but pray she doesn’t. Those words will just make you even more upset. It’s already enough you have that constant reminder in your head. 

You watch her fiddle with the rings on her index and pinky fingers. “ But you know… you haven’t been the same since you and Jimi-”

“ Don’t fucking say it. I don’t want to hear it.”

She sighs harshly and stands up, “ Im just worried about you Yn”

“ Don’t be. Im fine. “ That lie escaped your tongue way too easily. 

Truthfully you haven’t and won’t be fine. Everyday there is something new about that girl and Jimin on twitter. Gossip pages, twitter fanpages, and online entertainment pages just always talking about them. They did this, they did that today. Oh we caught them going to this and that restaurant. That used to be you and him.. but now everyone has forgotten about you and focused on them.

Ever since you’ve told reporters and paparazzi repeatedly that you will not be holding or going to any interview they just stopped. A few calls here and there to your manager about scheduling one but she knew you didn’t want to do them so every request is denied. Although its been a year and some change, they still seem to want your side and your opinion to weigh in on. I guess that’s what happens when you date an Idol.

“ The door.. Y/N the door somebody is at the door.” Ryan says, tapping you over and over. You shake your head interrupting your thoughts for the time being. A few more knocks come through.

Finally up onto your feet you harshly walk to the door with each step making noise. It’s to early in the morning for someone to actually be knocking at the door right now. Whoever it is better be dropping off some sort of package, or they’ll surely get a piece of your mind.

Your frail hands grab onto the doorknob and swing it open. Your eyes almost pop through your sockets. How? How did he know you were here? You certainly did not tell him your knew address.

There he stands, his tall frame looking down on you. Lips formed into a tiny pout along with his eyebrows scrunched slightly. His brown eyes forming an ungodly stare into yours with his specs on.

“ Yn! Do you know how worried I was about you? Why did you not answer my messa-”

“Jungkook how do you know where I live?” You pace your hands on your hips, raising an eyebrow at him. To your knowledge, you never gave Jungkook your new apartment address.

Jungkook swallows slowly and puts on his best innocent face on. Oh please like that would work in this moment right now. The only person who has this address is Ryan because she’s the one who helped you move. Even if you had the choice of not giving it out to Ryan you would of but you couldn’t do that to her. She would of been so upset.

Ryan’s voice blares in the background full of excitement. Here we fucking go. “Jungkook! Come in Come in.”

“ Ryan says I could come in.” He says quickly, brushing past you and removing his shoes.

You heavily sigh and slam the door shut. What is this a family reunion? On your way back to the couch you notice them laughing and giggling like two five year old children. They don’t even notice you when you sit right across from them.

You study their expressions. Their chemistry is something so strong. The way their eyes light up when they meet, the way that Jungkook smiles and scrunches his nose more often when she’s around. You miss that. You miss doing that.

“ So are you both coming along this afternoon?”

Your attention focuses back on them. Of course you weren’t paying attention once again.

Your eyes slowly meet with theirs, “ Huh? Where are we going?”

“ Kookie finally bought a house! He wants us to come tonight for chicken and beer. You’re coming right?”

A sharp pain goes through your heart. If the both you you guys go then theirs a possibility that Jimin was invited too. After all, that is his brother. If Jimin comes then he’s most likely going to bring Isabel. A recipe for disaster. Your poor heart, that most likely could not bare the sight of them infront of you, would shatter into a million pieces.

Jungkook’s expression is ready to burst into happiness or to turn into a pout awaiting for your answer. If you let him down he’ll surely be mad at you. But putting yourself before him this time would be the right thing to do right?

“ Listen Jungkook I.. don’t think I can go.” You start off, playing with your hair with your head down.

“ I’ll space you two apart.”

Your face automatically lifts itself up in shock. Somehow, that little confirmation of Jimin being there, gave you some hope. Hope for what though?

 “ Wha-what do you mean?”

Jungkook sighs heavily with his hand going up to his brown hair running it through lightly. “ I’ll make sure you two are distanced apart. You don’t want to come because of Jimin but I’ll make sure I’ll invite more people to keep you company and away from him. Okay?”

“ Please Yn. I’ll be there too.” Ryan begs, laying her head on Jungkook’s shoulder. Jungkook smiles a little, caressing her cheek with his other hand upon waiting your response.

Weird. When did they get so close?

The first thing you want to say is that you really could not go. But they already know the excuse now. You might as well just give in.

‘‘ Fine. What time tonight? “

Skincare and makeup products are scattered everywhere on your vanity. You needed the perfect look for tonight that says ‘Yes im doing fine without you’, but in reality you’re doing worse. This is the night where you’ll actually see him. Damn it’s been a while.

After you apply your highlight you step back and take a look at yourself. Not bad at all. You smile to yourself and start cleaning up the mess of products you had  distributed across the vanity. A new text appears on you phone as soon as you gather everything up and put it back in it’s place. Grabbing your phone, it’s Ryan giving you the address to Jungkook’s new house.

You sigh and mentally prepare yourself, ‘‘ Okay Yn. You can do this. It’s just one night of conversing among people. Who knows, maybe you’ll meet someone new.”

Before heading out you grab your coat and scarf. Clara follows you all the way to the door letting out her little meows once again. You bend down to pet her head lightly with a smile. “ Clara im coming back. I’ve put food in your bowl babygirl.”

She purrs under your touch then walks away to settle herself in her bed. You take one last final look at your decent sized apartment before heading out.

The subway ride was agonizing pain for you due to it being 30 minutes long. Well, at-least you can ride the subway now. Your mind wouldn’t even of thought of that when you were with him. Everybody would have noticed you and bombard you with questions.

The outskirts of Seoul is peaceful and quite. Not many people live over here. Mostly famous actors and idols. The taxi takes a few minutes to get to the fairly clean subway station. Once you’re inside you take a good look at the driver who seems to be eyeing you in suspicion. You pull out your phone and read the words to the address exactly to him. The taxi man pulls of into the empty streets of god knows where.

All it took was a ten minute ride and then you’re there. The taxi man pulls up to a security guard booth. Just beyond the gates is more street but  by squinting your eyes you can make out just a few newly built houses.

‘‘ Who are you here to see?” The taxi driver says.

“ Jeon Jungkook.?

The driver talks to the man for a few seconds before you see the security guard pick up a phone and start dialing. The security is extremely uptight, thats good. After a few moments of speaking the security guard finally opens the gates to be let through.

As you pull up to the house you’re automatically mesmerized on how big and beautiful it is. There’s fresh bushes and some white roses growing in the front of it complementing the white modern style home. The roundabout is full of luxurious cars, in which might be all the other guests.

‘‘ 10 dollars’‘ He says. You give him the ten, thank him, and grab your purse, closing the door behind you.

Your eyes meet face to face with the expensive house. Behind you is the tire wheels backing up and running off back down the roundabout. The time on your watch reads 8:15. Only fifteen minutes late, not bad right?

With each step you take fear quivers inside of you. What if he opens the door? What if that girl opens it instead? The wind blows harsh-fully hitting your cheeks making them turn slightly colored. You raise a small, shaky fist to knock on the door. Your blood turning cold, and face turning pale already. Your anxiety already taking its place inside of your body.

The door swings open revealing Ryan smiling from ear to ear. She pulls you inside without even a greeting. You kick your shoes off in a hurry as she pulls you more and more inside. Scanning the area around you, its a nice huge place. First the both of you pass the entrance, then the chef sized kitchen, which then leads you to the spacious living room where everybody seems to be sitting.

All eyes are on you now with some familiar faces and some not. They smile and greet you one by one and you slightly bow your head with a fake smile.

‘‘ Ah Yn, nice to see you again huh.’‘ Hoseok, the smiley one says, getting up from his seat to greet you once more.

‘‘ Nice to see you to Hoseok. Is Chae-Yeon here? I’ve baked the cookies she likes.’’  You say, holding up the big tuba-wear of freshly baked cookies. Nobody can resist those.

‘‘ No she had to work sadly, but I will enjoy them for her.’‘ He chuckles, bringing the tuba-wear out of your dainty, cold hands.

A very familiar voice booms from behind you causing you to turn around. “ Yn! You actually did come!’’ Jungkook, the owner of the voice exclaims. He wipes his hands with a napkin just before pulling you into a hug.You pat his back just before letting go.

Ryan smiles and shakes her head, “ I told you she would come.’’

Only one hour and 30 minutes into the festivities and half of the people here are drunk or nearly there. You on the other hand do not drink at all. Staying sober throughout this whole party is a must. Who knows what would happen if you start drinking and saying things.Ryan seems to be doing good with Jungkook who’s laying on the floor laughing and cracking jokes with her head laying on his stomach giggling along with him. The others have casually invited themselves into the guest game-room to play some pool.

You just sit there on the couch, munching on a cookie and smiling and laughing here and there at one of Seokjin and Jungkook’s back-to-back jokes that seem to never leave the air.

Only for a knock on the door to interrupt  their flow of jokes.

‘‘ I got it I got it.” Seokjin stammers, placing a beer bottle down and stumbling towards the door. You freeze, face turning pale once more. It’s them. It could be them. Your teeth find their way to your lips and you begin to chew on it excessively.

Ryan notices it and automatically gets up from Jungkook, ‘‘ Come Yn, lets go see if the game of pool is interesting.’‘

You nod your head slightly as you get up from the couch. What are you worrying for? You look extravagant tonight. No need to worry yourself.

Just before taking your first few steps you stop, that voice. That oh so familiar voice begins to inch closer and closer. The famous laugh that he always tries to stifle by putting his hand over his mouth, that you’ve always thought was so fucking cute, fills the air.

You don’t know what got over you, but you sit back down dragging Ryan down with you. “ Yn? What are you doing I thought you wanted to avoid him.’’

‘’ No it’s okay. Im going to be fine.’‘ You say, awaiting upon his arrival into the room.

The footsteps are haunting you with each step they take.

one..two..three..four..five..si-

‘‘ Everyone, Isabel and Jimin are here.’‘ Seokjin stammers, smiling wide clearly drunk from all the beer consumed.

Your eyes go directly towards his. The pit of your stomach flutters with nervousness as you hold the long stare with him. His facial expression shocked but not showing it at all. His partner, who’s arm is linked with his, smiles brightly at everyone bowing her head slightly to them including you.

‘‘ Sorry we are late. Jimin didn’t want to come out of his home studio but I’ve made him come along with me.’‘ Her voice gentle and soft.

‘‘ Yn I forgot let me show you my new painting i have received.” Jungkook says quickly, trying to escape you from the awkwardness.You can bare it though its not as bad as you thought.

‘‘ Maybe later Kookie. I’m going to grab some juice.”  You say, getting up from your spot. You brush past Jimin lightly with Ryan tailing along with you.

The spacious kitchen was perfect for you to escape for just a moment. Silence is golden. Ryan sighs, pouring you and her a glass of juice. Nothing is to be said yet. But you know she really wants to have her input.

Raising the glass to your lips, you take a sip letting the tanginess run across your tongue and down your throat. ‘’ Say it Ryan.’’

She puts her cup down and looks at you with your eyebrows furrowed, ‘’ You aren’t fine. Please just avoid them for the night.’’

You knew it was coming but you have to face the fact that they area couple anyways so why avoid it? Maybe your mind will finally accept it to see it in person.

‘‘ I have to face it one way or another so why not now?’‘

She shakes her head in disapproval, finishing the rest of her juice. “ No you don’t. You’re making yourself suffer and I don’t like it.’’

‘‘ Yn.. did you make these cookies?’‘ A voice says behind you. Ryan’s eyes go wide and then looks at you signaling for you to not turn around. But you do it anyways.

Isabel. How dare she call you by a pet name? You don’t even know her like that and she’s doing this. Anger wants to get the best of you but you remain humble and calm.

‘‘ Yes. Is there a problem though? Are they not good?’‘ You say, putting on your best innocent act.

She smiles as she moves a piece of hair of her perfectly framed face, ‘’ No they are great! I was wondering if i can have the recipe.. for Jimin’s purpose of course.’’

You breathe through your nostrils with your eyes closed. She knows what she’s doing. She likes seeing you suffer huh? ‘’ You can follow any recipe online. I just add almond extract and substitute white sugar for brown.’’

Ryan shakes her head slightly while sticking her cup into the sink. ‘’ I’m going to be back I have to use the restroom.’’

Once she leaves Isabel’s smile drops.’’ Almond? Im- Im allergic!” She says, semi yelling at you. You’re shocked more or so at the sudden outburst that you can’t speak. You had zero knowledge of her being allergic, it’s an accident for sure.

 “You did this on purpose!’’ She says, tears filling her eyes as she goes into a coughing fit.

Shit. You didn’t know if anyone was allergic to nuts here but you had put it in anyways because that was the secret ingredient

‘’ I- I didn’t know im sorry is there anything I can do?’’ You say, guilt taking over you while you rush to her side patting her back. 

‘‘ Get off of me! You did this on purpose! You never liked me anyways. Jimin! Jimin!‘ She scream’s, coughing and wheezing making her face red.

Multiple footsteps rush into the kitchen. You don’t know what to do at this point so you just back away and let whoever take over. All the commotion going on and yelling is starting to give you a slight headache. All of the boys surround her, bombarding with questions and asking each other what to do. 

‘‘ What’s all the yelling about? What happened! “ Jungkook exclaims rushing towards her hunched over body.

‘‘ What’s going on? “ That voice that haunts you everynight finally comes inside the kitchen. When he see’s Isabel he automatically rushes towards her side. It pains you to see him rush to another woman’s body. But that figure is no longer yours so he has every right to do that.

‘‘ She-She put almond in the cookies on purpose! She’s trying to–to-’‘ She manages to wheeze out before another coughing fit.

Jimin’s eyes meet yours full of rage but then taken over by concern. He knows your hurt. Still hurt from the past and from this very situation now. You don’t manage to keep eye contact, so the floor is your eyes’ bestfriend right now.

‘‘ Yn. is this true? Why would you do that?”  He says, eyes never leaving yours and voice soft.

You shake your head quickly, “ I didn’t know she was allergic. I always put almond extract an-’’

“ You knew better than to put any type or form of nut in a dish when bringing it to ones house. You never know if someone has an allergy to it.’‘ Jungkook scolds you, eyes furrowed in shame.

‘‘ Don’t blame her. She didn’t fucking know.” Ryan’s voice enters the room in madness. She comes to your side with her arms crossed. Your own personal savior. Without her, you’d still be feeling guilty and taking the blame.

‘‘ Besides, you knew better than to invite him if you knew he was going to bring the girl he cheated on her with.. right?’‘ She says, cocking her head to the side as her attitude takes over.

The room is silent again. Good girl Ryan. 

Isabel lifts her head in disbelief along with Jimin. “ Listen that’s beside the point. Just don’t do it again.” Jimin says, focusing his attention back on Isabel. He reaches into her purse to grab her Epi-pen.

His scolding is enough to send your eyes into tears. You shouldn’t of agreed to come. This is a disaster. You take the tuba-wear of cookies from the counter on your way out of the kitchen and dispose of them. Your vision is blurry and you don’t know where your going but you just need some air. You make lefts and rights down long and short hallways till you reach a room that has a balcony.

You slip on who-ever’s house slippers and open the sliding door revealing the winter’s cold harsh air. You lean on the railing and close your eyes breathe in and out heavily.

Wiping the tears away, You open our eyes and look straight ahead. The whole city is lit up such a beautiful view for a sad moment. The sad moment is cut short by the sliding door opening and closing. You don’t bother to turn around it’s probably just Ryan checking on you again. When are people going to stop doing that?

“ Yn.”

Thats the last voice you wanted to hear.

‘‘ Are you happy? Happy for scolding me infront of everybody.”  You sniffle, wiping away your leaking nose.

You hear some rustling before something is placed on your shoulders. You look down at the material and shrug it off of you.

‘‘ Give it to your girlfriend.”

‘‘ I can’t let you be cold. Put it back on.’‘ He sighs, picking it back up and coming closer to you. You both stand side by side. Jimin puts his jacket around you once more and before you could re-do your action just before, he speaks.

‘‘ Shrug it off again and I’ll scold you. Do you understand?’‘ He says firmly.

You don’t bother to speak. Silence is golden.

‘‘ Listen.. i know you still aren’t over the fact that we are through but-”

‘‘ Shut up. I don’t want to hear it. Please go tend to your dying girlfriend.’‘ You say, sarcastically.

He huffs, “ She’s resting right now. She wouldn’t have to be if you wouldn’t of put-’’

You turn towards him slowly and meet his eyes daring for him to finish the rest of his sentence. ‘’ Don’t you fucking dare Park Jimin.’’

‘‘ Honorifics.’‘ He says, slightly looking down at you due to the height difference.

‘‘ You’re right Jimin-ssi.’‘

Jimin’s expression is taken a-back. You knew that one honorific word would hurt him.

‘‘ If we are done speaking I will take my leave now.” You say, eyes never leaving his as you take off his jacket and toss it to him, leaving him outside in the cold

This night was one of your worst mistakes. You thought you could handle it, but couldn’t. So maybe Ryan and Jungkook were right. Maybe you can’t handle it at all..

no worries, and of course! i had a lot of fun doing this quest, but it took awhile for me to finish it because of my school projects. i made it more on how they would treat the pet rather than how they would react to you giving it to them, please dm me if you want that changed! anyways, i hope you enjoy this!

i personally headcanon that naegi likes any and all animals, so he's happy to get either a cat or dog! off topic, but he probably follows multiple pet accounts on twitter. his whole feed is just... pets.

if you give him a puppy, he'll definitely start lightly jumping around with it in his hands. tries to be careful since he had a living thing in his hands, but sometimes the serotonin is a little too strong, especially when it comes to dogs.

give him a kitty? he'll pet it repeatedly without uttering a word with all the happiness and shine in his eyes. bonus points if you give him a fluffy breed of cat, he loves those. you might have to shake him a little to take his attention off of the little fluffball, but can you blame him?

defends it with his life. its a pretty known fact that he isn't the boldest person, but if someone tries to touch the creature you give him without proper care, and/or without telling him? he'll say some of the most daring things he's ever said in his entire life. it surprises him too, honestly.

he names the animal after foods. he just seems like the type of person to name his cat "nugget", and his dog "cookie" or something along those lines. makoto thinks those names are the cutest, and he's right in a sense.

uses almost all of his extra money on it. for monthly vet checks, high quality food, new collars/harnesses & litter with a new litter box every few months if its a cat. he takes very good care of them, so you don't need to worry.

he absolutely goes on pet shopping sprees with gundham and gonta, no you cannot change my mind. there are times when you go into his dorm and walk into the three boys with numerous bags of new things for their animals.

his sister LOVES the pet, her pure attachment to them could rival makoto's attachment. komaru visits atleast once a week, and while she claims its to see her amazing big brother; everyone knows she just wants to see the animal. you can bet that the rest of the day will be the two siblings snatching the confused creature from the others hands.

on another subject, if the pet you gave him was a dog, mondo will constantly be around it and almost never leave. if its a cat, celeste steals them every once in awhile to play with grand bois chéri ludenberg, which gives makoto a heart attack when he cant find his cat.

actually uses taking the "taking your pet out for a walk" as a way to exercise. before and after school, he always does a quick jog around the area with them, and sometimes you can catch him running around with them leading the way in a harness. its really nice to see.

is very grateful that you gave him the little critter! he thanks you everytime you're both spending time with it and the room goes silent for a bit. both you and them has given him so much more happiness, and he'll forever appreciate it.

he really doesn't seem like the type to need a pet at first. he has many things to do, and is a busy, busy man. so, when you first introduce him to the cat you bought at a rescue shelter for him, he was really skeptical in accepting it.

in all honestly, he didn't like them at the beginning. he ordered his servants to take care of it, and rarely gave the feline anything more than a glare when he passed by it in hallways. but, one night changed his perspective.

it was a usual night of him overworking himself and not getting any sleep, and he felt something really strange cuddling up to his leg. he looked down to see that it was the cat that he hasn't named yet.

he ignored them for a bit, but he awkwardly scratched its head after a few minutes of insistent meows. its the middle of the night, and that little itch couldn't do much, right?

wrong. by 7 am, the cat is on his lap, taking a nap while he finishes some paperwork; petting them behind their ear whenever he feels the stress getting to his head. it annoyed him to realize how patting them could calm him down so much.

cue the attachment phase. he will reject and debate any mention of it, but the kitten sleeping on his shoulder said otherwise. he secretly really loves the cat and thinks its adorable, but he would rather stub his toe than admit it.

he's not... the greatest at naming things. how he names the cat is by choosing the most common and obvious name. if you gave him a tabby cat, he'd just name them tabby. siamese cat? simon. manx cat? max. calico cat? calico.

god forbid that the kitty gets sick. the moment he starts to realize that its not acting normal, he calls the best vet available in the country and makes them do a check up. "i don't care if it gets sick." he says. "i'll just ask one of the maids to take it to the vet." he says.

these two cuddle up to each other on his bed. he seems like the type of person to have "cats not allowed on the bed" as a rule, but nope. when you sleep over now, you're usually the third wheel now. mainly because the cat is sleeping inbetween you and byakuya.

even though its not required for cats, he takes them out for walks every afternoon after school. its nice to walk with a cat around the neighborhood, and its really cute seeing them sniff and look around the unfamiliar area.

his weakness is hearing them meow. one time when you were staying over, the cat kept cuddling up to byakuya to convince him to play with them. he refused, until it meowed. you could physically see his heart clench, and now the rest of the day was used playing with the kitty.

basically, he's extremely attached to the feline you gave him. he doesn't show it too much, but if you look into his behaviour; you can see how happy and thankful he is that you gave him the animal. he loves both of you so much.

dogs! while he does love cats, thinks they're absolutely adorable and deserve the world, he prefers dogs a lot more. when you gave him a dog, he practically almost cried seeing it. any time he even sees one, he gets extremely happy. actually getting another one? get ready for the cheering and fanboying.

he may or may not be one of those dog owners that ends up accidentally giving more attention to his dog compared to you. just communicate if you feel negatively about it, and he'll divide his attention evenly, of course.

you two are going to be constantly with this dog, he pretty much brings them everywhere he can. so basically every conversation you two have in both public and private is most likely going to be overheard by the clueless animal.

daiya is also exactly like komaru, he already visited quite alot before you gave him the pet, but after you gave it? he's there during all of his free time. i personally think daiya is a cat person, but he really likes the dog you gave him.

his whole phone is filled to the brim with photos of this pup. if you look in his gallery app, you'll see a bunch of albums with many different pictures of it. its to the point where his storage is 40% used up by all the pictures he takes of the cute little creature.

is one of those people that buys multiple different matching outfits between him and his dog. he would include you too if you would like to join in! he actually really wants you to do it with them, he'd take way more pictures if you did.

every single morning before school, he takes him to the local biggest dog park. in fact, he goes there so often that all of the other people in the area actually knows mondo very personally, which is a little funny to witness. a bunch of middle aged people knowing exactly what your gangster boyfriend does in his free time? its made you snicker once or twice.

many of the pets around the neighborhood knows his dog pretty well; even the cats do! its actually really cute to see a bunch of different animals from a lot of different species all cuddled together at one tree. again, mondo has a whole gallery of it.

he names his puppy with actual human names. since his last one was named "chuck", i assume that he's gonna call his current pet something that matches his beloved past dogs name. he is very close to crying whenever someone asks why he chose that name for them.

any time someone else has to take care of them while he's away, or when he has something to do, he's practically messaging that person every five seconds. he needs to know that theyre okay, especially since they were given to him by you! he's never damaged or got rid of a gift you gave him, and he's not going to start now.

is exactly like the others, he's extremely happy that you got him a dog, mainly because all of you get so many new memories and experiences, and in general; it makes all of your lives way better, also way more fun.

~ I have been friends with this guy on the internet Dream for about 5 years now, we talk all the time but we have never met in person and I have never seen his face. He doesn't show his face on the internet and I've never asked so it just never happened, he knows what I look like all too well because I like sending him stupid selfies and we FaceTime in the middle of the night all the time.

We have been trying to meet in person for years but things keep getting in the way and changing our plans first family issues, then a hurricane and then a whole pandemic. Despite all of this we have finally set a date to meet which is not going to change not for anything or anyone. It's going to be a big day or should I say month, as insane as it sounds I'm going to move in with Dream and Sapnap one of our other friends for a little while to really make this trip worth it even if it only lasts that long.

The process has been difficult because for me to get to Florida I need to get a plane which requires me to get tested before I fly and for my own piece of mind I have been strictly quarantining for the past two weeks but its finally here. I fly out tomorrow morning. I went and got tested yesterday and got my negative result today which I need to get on the plane.

I've been packing all day today because to be there for a month I need a bunch of my set up and cameras so that my content doesn't just stop but then I also need clothes and I can't seem to get both things to fit quite right.

At one point my phone started ringing but there was a mountain of stuff everywhere so I had to dig around to find it and when I did I saw that it was a FaceTime call from Dream, I picked up and immediately put my phone down to get on with my 5th attempt at packing.

"Yo hows it going?" Dream asked

"I'd say pretty average right now I'm super excited for tomorrow but my bag is giving me a hell of a fight" I replied

"Prop your phone up and I'll try and help" he said

I did as I was told and got my small tripod to rest my phone in where you could see what I was looking at. Honestly it was a mess and I was kind of embarrassed but Dream didn't need to know that and besides my face wasn't in frame so he couldn't see how embarrassed I was. I attempted putting everything in a slightly different way to last time which seemed to work until it came to fitting in my tripod and my wash bag of which there was no room for.

"Fuck sake I thought I had it then" I raged slightly

"Ok take out the webcam and forget about the tripod because I have ones that you can use and then try because I think that should give you enough room" he said

"Hell yeah thanks dream" I said after zipping up the suitcase

I flopped back on the floor tired from the minimal amounts of effort I had put in today which just shows how incredibly unfit I am. I recovered before getting up and moving my phone to my desk where I sat to talk to Dream.

We talked for a while until Sapnap came in and I talked to him for a little while, he's been living with Dream for a few months so he warned me about a few things like you don't wake Dream up which I took note of and he told me that Dream will just come and sit in your stream. Eventually they had to leave so I was left on my own to just kind of chill until it was an acceptable time to go to sleep.

Skip to the morning

I woke up at 5am when my alarm went off, I have a love hate relationship with my alarm because I only ever use it when I have something going on which is exciting but the sound makes me want to throw my phone out the window. Despite my annoyance I got up and went straight to the bathroom to shower and get dressed, I thought about wearing something nice but then I realised I had a 5 hour flight and I couldn't bare the thought of being sat down for that long not in comfy clothes. My comfy outfit consisted of leggings and one of my ex boyfriends hoodies because I never gave it back and I'm over it enough to just wear the hoodie whenever I want.

At just before 6 I got in my Uber to head to the airport seeing as my flight was at around 8 it would be wise to get there early. I wasn't sure how busy the airport would be seeing as you aren't meant to travel but I don't think I've ever seen an airport that wasn't busy.

I made it to the airport and as I assumed it wasn't heaving but there was still a fair amount of people around. I made my way through the crowds and checked in for my flight before heading through security and then making it to the main part of the airport. That part was less busy as there is more space for people to spread out into which made me much less anxious about people being too close. I had a little while to wait for my flight so I went and got some food because I haven't eaten today, and I don't want to end up with a headache.

When it was time for my flight to board I went to the gate and got straight into my seat watching as more people boarded but not as many as I expected, it was clear that all of the people on the flight had a good reason to be going to Florida and not just going on holiday and no one was sat together so all rules were being adhered to.

My flight landed 5 hours later and everyone filed off the plane going there own way leaving me kind of lost in a place that I wasn't used to and with the anxiety of going to meet Dream for the first time. I had a bit longer to wait because I had to get an Uber to the house even though dream offered to come and pick me up I told him not to because the less people at the airport the better and just incase people recognised me I didn't want him to accidentally face reveal.

I collected my suitcase and went straight out to the car park to get in my uber who was waiting just outside the doors in the designated area for taxis. As soon as I got in the car I text Dream letting him know I was on my way and sharing my location just in case things went south.

My uber stopped outside this one house and I got out walking up the drive taking in the house number to make sure I was at the right place which I was. Thats when the nerves really kicked in, I was about to meet one of my best friends in person for the first time. This is so insane to think that after all there years we get to do all the stupid things friends do.

I got to the door and rang the doorbell waiting the few excruciating seconds before I heard movement behind it indicating that there was someone there. It opened slowly and the first person I saw was sapnap who of course I was excited to see but we have talked properly on FaceTime before so I already know what he looks like.

Next another person popped up behind pushing sapnap out the way and giving me a hug straight away I knew it had to be dream but he ran over so quick that I didn't get to take in anything other than the fact he was hugging me. He pulled away and I got to look at his face, he looked pretty much exactly how I thought he would from the descriptions I have heard. As much as wavy length doesn't sound like a thing it somehow fit his hair and his eyes were also super green, he was definitely taller than I expected though this man towered over me like it was nothing and could definitely push me to the ground in a second but he looked kind just how you want a friend to be.

After a few minutes of freaking out that this was actually happening they let me inside and gave me a tour of the house showing me my room and the set up they had put together for me with a webcam and tripod just like dream said. They finished off the tour before I was made to sit and play whatever game they wanted with them.

We played an assortment of games for hours on end before we ordered food for dinner which we ate all chilling on the sofa. I almost forgot that my followers didn't know I was here but when I remembered I stole patches from dream and got him to take a picture of me with her to post on twitter and Instagram because people would get it without me having to explain. Not much of a grand reveal considering Sapnap did the same when he got here but I didn't really have any other ideas I mean its not like I can just do dream's face reveal for him with a picture on my twitter can I. The response to my tweet was insane within minutes people had got it trending and they were freaking out with all sorts of theories of if I'd officially moved in or if I was just visiting although both were kind of right.

Having spent a few hours here now I feel very at home they boys are really welcoming making sure I'm all good and not too tired after my flight which of course I am but sleep is for the weak so I'll wait. I have been told to call the two of them by their real names unless its on stream which feels kind of odd because I'm use to calling them what their know by despite knowing their real names the whole time. They have given me a nickname which I now go by to make it fair.

It was sad when the day came to an end when we all decided it was best to get some sleep even though I think their going to stay up and they said it for my own sake because I've been yawning non stop for the past 2 hours but either way I'm going to go to sleep and this day (one of the best days of my life) will become that of a memory.

Although I don't think this day could have gone any better its consisted of everything I've ever wanted to have in a friend but none of my friends back home if you can call them friends are into the same things as me so it never works out. Now I have two friends who share the same interests and have the same god awful sleep schedule so we can stay up messing around together if we want to which is what life as a 20 year old should be like. Fun.

I’ve been a fan of sabrina since 2014, I saw joshua on stuck in the middle but didn’t really know about him (I was more focused on jenna and isaak) and I hadn’t heard about olivia until I saw my whole twitter tl talking about her and drivers license. 

I didn’t mind SOUR, i enjoyed  8/11 songs BUT it’s not an album that I’ve constantly gone back to listen to in one sitting. Hearing joshua’s side on his EP (crisis, secret & set me free) however did changed my perspective about SOUR. I still believe olivia should’ve posted something when her fans were attacking josh & sabrina on her behalf. The excuse of ‘she’s young she didn’t know any better’ is not a good excuse. I’m 5 months older than olivia and if I was in her position I know i would’ve put out a message out of respect for the people involved regardless of how hurt I was, of course you can’t control you’re fans but putting out a message stating that you don’t agree with what’s happening is important.

I like ‘emails i can't send’, I think it’s sabrina’s most vulnerable album and you can hear it in the lyrics. ‘Decode’, my personal favourite song on the album perfectly summarises sabrina’s side of the story. I didn’t interpret the song as her walking away from josh because he was ‘confusing’ during the drama. I interpreted it as her realising at the end of the relationship how bad it turned during that tough time for her.

I also wanted to say not all of sabrina’s songs on ‘emails i can't send’ are about josh. Lots of people forget she dated griffin gluck around 2019 - 2020 (before josh i think). One of the songs not about josh but about griffin is 'vicious', griffin did post drivers license to his instagram story with the caption ‘bop’ which further fulled more hate towards sabrina as some of olivia’s fans started assuming.

I don’t believe that josh still has feelings for olivia at all, he is respectful but as another anon said his interview with Zach Sang Show cemented it for me. You could tell that he was hurt and is still trying to process everything.

At the end of the day there is always olivia’s side, sabrina’s side, joshua’s side and the truth. We will never know the truth because it’s none of our business BUT all of them have the right to tell their side and everybody should respect that.

I think i wasnt clear when i explained my interpretation of decode, it is her realizing theres nothing left in the relationship. i only explained the lines in the 2nd verse when i said she’s choosing to walk away cause even though he walked away first (1st verse) she finally is realizing theres nothing left for her to try and make work or try to understand why everything turned out the way it is and to just accept it. when i explained the lines in tembe song i meant those specific lines and i went into details.

thanks for your input on olivia but i dont really care for her or her decisions i dont really talk about her here. but i understand where you’re coming from and her part in how the situation played out should have been handled better too.

i think its time we accept Vicious is about him. Sabrina MOVED on from Griffin to Joshua like none of the songs on the album relate to her and Griffin. even though sabrina says she started the writing process 2 or 3 years ago, inreality most of the songs she’s made and made it into the album are songs she wrote with leroy, jp, julia which leroy she met in the summer of 2020 (and thats when they made Bad For Business which made it into emails).

Sabrina started going to the studio with JP in 2021 and thats when his then girlfriend Julia would join them in writing sessions cause in June/July Sabrina said in her teen vogue interview they went to new york in the summer of 2021 to finish the album. In september 2021 Sabrina said they were the only people along side a producer named John Ryan she worked with on this album.

In March 2022 Sabrina wrote and recorded Vicious with Amy Allen cause they also followed each other during then. and u can hear it in her lyrics she’s reflecting on 2021 “one year 10 thousand bad moments” and singing about someone who left her and her image wrecked AND wrote her love songs … its not griffin gluck. she’s moved on from him and past him long ago. like she’s not thinking of Griffin in 2022 yes he fueled the drama and posted drivers license during that time but she didnt care about him he was already out of her life she just unfollowed him. like any woman would when an ex would use her for clout and gain off her situation. like i didnt want this to be a whole dissect why the song is about X and not Z but i hate seeing people think its not about him.

Sabrina feeling this way about Joshua is valid she doesnt have to feel bad for him when he left her during that time like its okay for her to be angry or feel hurt or think what he did to her inreturn is cruel or “vicious” (based on lyrics :))

regardsless like you said they all have their truths and their sides and wish them all the best thats just what i personally think!

Impromptu Ramblings about the NEO:TWEWY Demo

In case y'all weren't aware, I've been a pretty big fan of TWEWY for a couple years now, and with the sequel coming out next month, the excitement I feel for this game is greater than ever :) I played the Demo for the first time yesterday, and following a couple views of some livestreams of others playing it, I felt like sharing my (very ramble-y) thoughts prior to the release of the full game. This post WILL contain spoilers for both TWEWY and NEO:TWEWY, so if you want to avoid those from now on, please block the tags: #twewy spoilers, #ntwewy spoilers, #neo twewy spoilers, #ntwewy, and #neo twewy ^_^ Oh, and if you wanna keep up with any other posts I make about my experience with this game, please refer to the tag "kat plays neo twewy" :)

-First things first: I have not watched the Final Trailer and I don't plan on doing so to avoid spoilers, especially after the pre-release era of KH3 where a lot of the later trailers spoiled a lot of the endgame content. That being said, I've seen some minor screenshots from the final trailer including what many believe to be characters from the original TWEWY, namely Shiki and Joshua. That is all I know about the Final Trailer and I would very much like to remain as blind as possible going into NEO :)

-The very first cutscene was quite ominous in the sense that this game is likely going to be about "changing fate" (a recently common theme in Squeenix games, which I do appreciate), perhaps leading off from the end of A New Day in the OG and trying to stop an Inversion of Shibuya. Also worth noting that A New Day had similar aspects in which the main character experienced "future visions" of tragic events, although in A New Day these events were not able to be changed, while in NEO it seems like one of the main "powers" our protagonist has is specifically to rewrite these events and avoid a "bad ending." Very interesting indeed!

-I really like the revamped comic book style dialogue scenes, it's much more fluid and modern, which is an excellent direction for the series to take!

-I would love to have an actual PokemonGO knockoff of Final Fantasy creatures, please Squeenix that would be incredibleeeeee

-Also the LINE stickers??? Are so cute???

-I would just like to point out that Fret is an absolute treasure throughout this entire demo, he's hilarious and I will protect him with my life

-UHHHH don't like that Fret picked up some Reaper Pins just out of nowhere.....or the fact that they're apparently popular all over Shibuya.............did y'all not learn anything from the OG game or what lmao

-Okay so when I first got the "curry or ramen" scene and heard NPCs talking about the new curry place replacing the old ramen place I became IMMENSELY distressed that Ramen Don was totally cut from the game because....well, Ramen Don is a King okay?? But I'm glad to learn that no, he didn't fall off the face of the earth, he's still in business and he's the one opening the curry restaurant lolol. PHEW, crisis averted!

-.....I don't like the sudden appearance of a Wall Reaper and being able to read NPC thoughts. Wtf happened when they left the ramen place??? Are they playing the Game alive somehow?

-Okay so I have my own theories about this "Swallow" character and what they're up to but considering this is only the Demo and I still Have No Idea What's Happening, I'm just gonna say that I think Swallow intentionally led Rindo and Fret to the Crossing so they could join the Game. I mean, add in the fact that Swallow still communicates with Rindo during the Game and you've got yourself a suspicious character right there lol

-"Hey they're shooting off fireworks!" Fret honey that's not fireworks oof (see also: "*laughs* I'm in danger")

-WOOOOOO way to traumatize Rindo right off the bat like that LMAOO

-The visuals for the intro are VERY GOOD, the song is pretty decent until it gets all "screamo" (which I absolutely cannot stand sorry lol)

-Shoka is every Customer Service employee ever and I respect that

-Susukichi went from being "meh" to "WOW THIS GUY IS FUN" in the span of 10 seconds and I also respect that (he is also built like an Absolute Unit which is hilarious)

-The Wall Reapers (and just Reapers in general) seem.....way nicer and more helpful this time around?? Like in the OG the Wall Reapers were SO RUDE gfhjgjdfkhn and yeah I'm sure we'll get some like that but the juxtaposition of the first Wall Reaper in the OG compared to the first one in NEO is insane.

-The puzzles are quite a bit more entertaining this time around even if it's generally the same "fetch quest" formula lol

-"Rindo's Group" way to go Fret HFKJDGHSDFKJ mans really left the default name in there lmao

-OKAYOKAYOKAY so to those who aren't aware I am a MASSIVE SIMP for Sho Minamimoto, he's my absolute favorite and I think about him daily. HIS INTRODUCTION IS. INCREDIBLE. I LOVE IT SM.

-GOD hearing him actually SPEAK FULL SENTENCES is just SO SURREAL I love this sm

-Also the remix of his theme???? NEO TRANSFORMATION????? IT'S SO GOOD????????? It's like gone from a Boss Theme to a more triumphant sounding theme and I am HERE for it (every version of Transformation is just INCREDIBLE and getting a new one is even better)

-I Love Him, Your Honor

-Also idk how exactly but it's kinda weird seeing Sho in the OG vs NEO, cuz while he's mostly the same Insane Math-Obsessed Catboy, he's.....calmed down quite a bit?? Like OG made a whole point of how poorly he cooperates with others (not to mention just being completely unhinged and trying to kill everyone), whereas here in NEO he's......actually kinda working with others??? HELLO???? Sir what happened to you and Neku during those 3 years I would love to know all about it

-I guarantee you Sho is still probably scheming shite and will likely pull some total insane BS later down the road, and I am very much looking forward to that. Also, is he looking for a certain Pin or something??? Cuz he keeps talking about different Pins and even mentions "this is just another Psych Pin" like he's actively looking for a Pin to do something with. Maybe it also has to do with the "latent powers of Players" thing he mentioned as well??? What is this dude UP TO oml (also is he in contact with Neku at all?? they're both technically fugitives at this point right?? WHAT HAPPENED AFTER A NEW DAY I AM BEGGING YOU)

-I seems like Sho ALSO has an idea of what's going on in this specific game (even if he won't admit it straightforward). Per his quote "The game's 142,857. Factor it out," he's essentially saying, "This game is a neverending cyle, figure out how to get out of it" (or at least that's what I got from his "cyclic number" nonsense lolol)

-I do like how Sho mostly stays out of sight until he's needed for a battle or assisting with a mission, that's kind of on par with his whole "uncooperative" quirk from the OG, plus he might literally have to stay out of sight of other Reapers and Players considering he's likely breaking the rules of the Game (not surprising considering him and Neku broke practically every rule in the book during OG)

-The nicknames for Sho- I can't- They're so FUNNYYYY GFHJSDFKJ

-He goes from being called "Pi-Face" and "Tabooty" in OG to "Mr. Minami" and "M-Teezy" in NEO LMAOO

- SLEEPY 👏 ALBERT 👏 he doesn’t fall asleep on stream very often, but they do 12+ hour charity livestreams at least once a month so,,,, tired red is a common occurrence. he lives in a perpetual state of,,, ruffled? messy hair sticking up in every direction, a voice that always kinda sounds like he just woke up, constantly reaching for some form of affection from race that’s vaguely reminiscent of a toddler that just woke up from a nap between games, the like. he’s also a very deep sleeper, and it makes his already young face go from about,,,, 19? 20? to like 16 at best. he’s definitely getting better about seeing himself more accurately and all the fans think it’s so cute he doesn’t vehemently reject all of race’s compliments anymore.

- of course these two would be cute about having the same follower count. at one point someone follows albert but not race and race threatens to unfollow albert just to fix it, but about 10 seconds later the person follows him too and all balance is restored to the universe

- they’re 100% eachothers phone backgrounds. their lock screens is that cute thing where race has the half of the picture with albert in it and albert has the half of the picture with race in it and when you set their phones next to eachother in makes one picture. albert’s home screen is art jack made of them for his birthday. and race’s is a picture from the disney trip when al proposed.

- race is trying to pick albert’s teammates off from a distance, and he does fairly well for awhile, but as smart as he is race doesn’t have that much experience (especially compared to albert) so race’s teammates are dropping like flies literally ALL OVER the map and race is just like “?????? how the hell who is doing that” and albert is just silently chuckling to himself from his desk. eventually race is the only one left and albert finds him and just laughs maniacally while race dramatically falls out of his chair when he dies.

- y e s ok so albert blushes REALLY EASILY and race is,,,, race, so he’s honestly not that easy to embarrass and the general ‘red being flustered’ thing makes people confused how he’s the top. that is, until once race is laughing at how red albert is and albert just leans over and whispers something to race and race’s mouth snaps shut and his eyes get all wide and he just immediately changes the subject and albert has the smug look on his face and suddenly,,,, it all makes sense and that face race made gets so memed and albert laughs for 20 years over it

race: *kisses al’s neck and sits in his lap to try and distract him while albert keeps playing with a straight face*

also race: *can’t stop giggling for 5 minutes cause albert locked their pinky’s while showing him something and using the mouse*

this was written while also trying to keep track of the one year old and six year old i’m babysitting so i apologize for any random mistakes. no small children were harmed in the making of this post 😆

Tbh, I dont think Kenma will ever allow you to Stream in his account because he takes it very seriously, but, after a dumb mistake, you did

Kenma and you are both gamers

He started streaming because after he tried because Kuroo insisted, he realizad he enjoyed it and plus, he gained profit, and since you were a gamer too, you decided to give it a try

And of course, you wanted to use his setup tbh who wouldnt im jealous

Kenma Is a really good bf, so of course he allowed you to use his gamer chair, his special cat headphones, his límited edition mouse, and his two screens because he luvs you

He was out the day you decided you wanted to try streaming, and whenever he was out, you wore his clothes to feel close to him

He adores when you do that so he buys hoodies he knows you would like more than he does to see you in his clothes

Anyway, Kenma gave you a vague explaniation of how Twitch worked, showing you how to start the stream, read the chat, and all of that because you hardly ever used the platform

However, one thing he didnt say was that you HAD to change accounts because if you didnt, the stream would start on his chanel and all that

Of course, you were oblivius to that detail

So when every follower of KozuKen got a notification of him playing CoD nobody thought much of it until they went to the stream

You were kinda surprised that the stream got so many viewers in such a short time, however, since you werent really familiar with Tiwtch you thought it was normal, and decided to focus on the game to impress your viewers and make small talk while the chat was literally SPAMMING CRAZY and you were gladly ignoring it

However the 30K viewers were not pleased

Everyone there was so confused

Nobody knew you of course

Everybody was making theories of you but nobody thought that you were his significant other, because he said multiple times he didnt have one

However, everyone agreed that you HAD to be close to him, because you were wearing a Hoodie he wore in a special stream for Halloween with a original desing on the shoulders and chest

After two hours and a lot of donations of people asking you random stuff about you, you decided it was enough for the day and for your first stream

You were turning the stream off and going to the kitchen to eat something when all of the sudden the door slamed open

You screamed of course

Kenma rushed to the computer without even saying hi how rude Kenma

Turning his head fast and almost glaring you he goes

"Did you stream in my account?"

"I dont know??"

"How do 'you dont know'?!?"

Yup it would be probably something like that

He just turns his head and growls in frustration

He was scrolling through Twitter while walking home and saw his name on trend, but the trend wasnt about him, but rather who was streaming with his account

He panicked and rushed home

Thats what happend

He's not really angry at you he just doesnt want to face the concecuences of this problem because it's one of his worsts fears

Now you're a little angry at him for just coming home and screaming at you after being out all day, so you leave the kitchen and go to bed without a second glance

He sighed and watched a little of your stream in the platform to see what the fuck happend

Even tho he was annoyed, the cute faces you made when someone donated and talked to, or the fact that you were wearing his hoodie you was just too cute, but the sounds of Twitter exploting in his phone for answers about you dragged him down to talk to you

You on the other side, were already in bed a little upset and angry at your boyfriend

Of course your intention wasnt making Kenma angry, you knew how serious he takes this, you wouldnt do that to him on purpouse, didnt he saw that? Did he really tought you would do that to him? yes you fucked up but it was technically his fault since he didnt explained correctly but-

"Baby, are you up?"

You didnt respond to him, still angry and didnt face him

That didnt stopped Kenma tho, he crawled to your side of the and hugged you from behind, speaking soflty to your ear

"Im sorry babe, I should have teached you how Twitch worked properly, it wasnt your fault" he said with his head buried in your shoulder

You were at the verge of tears, so your voice sounded a little weak

Jack: “Hello :) My name is Jack – I've been wanting to contact you, since we're unable to interact with you through Discord.”

Duchess: “Ah, good evening, Jack. Your friend Donti informed me of your intentions.

I am Duchess. It's a pleasure to make your acguaintance.

You must excuse my brother and I for our lack of activity on other platforms. We are guite new to the family, and are still becoming familiar with all of this. We intend to take up other methods of interaction at a future juncture. :)”

Jack: “Oh, of course. It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Duchess. Your name is lovely :) 

I don't mind using another platform once in a while. Its an interesting change of pace.

How have you been enjoying the family?”

Duchess: “The family is... Interesting, to say the least. But I cannot say that I'm not having fun. Such a lively group of individuals- there's always something to see or hear.”

Jack: “I have been finding the family quite fascinating myself, though I don't have the insider's perspective that you do :) It really does feel like every day there's something new to observe with the Court :)”

Jack: “A great number of us on the Discord server are very curious about the family and its newest members. It's quite understandable why you would prefer to stay away from that platform, at least for the time being.”

Duchess: “Oh, the curiosity is mutual. Rest assured- we are observing and learning of you all as well, in our own ways.”

Jack: “I'm sure you are :) Everyone is rather eager to meet you though, you understand. I'm surprised I’m only the second one to message you like this, haha :)”

Duchess: “Mm, interesting... So eager, and yet you miss the crumbs we set readily beneath your nose. You are indeed a fascinating lot.”

Jack: “Haha :) You'll find that we aren't the best at deciphering clues, quite yet. Its really quite funny, if a tad embarrassing. I'm sure you and everyone else has seen the server's wild theorizing.”

Duchess: “We have. It's amusing, to say the least...

Since you've been so polite, I'll give you a hint. Duke and I currently only preside over this platform. But our posts are not our only form of communication. Pay attention to the other details, and you may find more...”

Jack: “Of course i've been polite, Duchess. Why, its just common courtesy, especially as you've been so kind as well :) What kind of monster would I be if I came in here and started immediately being rude? :)

Duchess: “It's my pleasure, I assure you. I see you've noticed my brother's affinity for dance. I've always preferred the art of the written word, myself.”

Jack: “Oh, myself as well! I've always loved to collect stories :) Dances are lovely as well, of course – but nothing they can choreograph can quite match a vision in the imagination. Which, of course, is what written works lend themselves to so well.

Tell me, what is your favorite story?”

Duchess: “Ah, so many stories are in the world... I have to say, I have a hard time choosing. My taste typically lies in the classics. I have a particular love of Chinese folklore and mythology, myself. But as for a specific piece of writing... "Pitcher of Cream", by Caitlin Scarano is a wonderful short story. More modern than most of what I read, but guite eloguent.”

Jack: “Oh, Chinese mythology! I'm familiar :) Seeing as I originate in China myself. I’m particularly fond of the story of Sun Wu Kong or Nezha :)

Pitcher of Cream seems to be a lovely story. I'll be sure to read it in more detail at your recommendation :)”

Duchess: “Wonderful selections. I wonder- do you also know of the Fenghuang?”

Jack: “I do! Its not my favorite animal of Chinese folklore, but it is certainly up there. I imagine it is very beautiful :) Why?”

Duchess: "I’'ve simply always adored it. Two beings living in perfect union as one, the symbol of power, royalty, and grace... Guite the admirable symbol, no?”

Jack: “I see why you love it so! And you are half of a pair yourself, with your twin Duke, both of you with your rather regal names – it's quite a lovely and symbolic favorite mythical creature to have.”

Duchess: “And you? What about Sun Wu Kong and Nezha captures your interest? Two great protectors and warriors. Do you idolize their strength, courage? Envy it?”

Jack: “No no, I can't find myself to be fond of either of them, haha! Sun Wu Kong in particular was always too annoying, too arrogant for me to sympathize with him. I can appreciate Nezha's protective nature, but after his death he, too, is no longer particularly likable.

I simply like their stories :) The long epics of victory and defeat and outsmarting the enemy. Even if I can't side with the protagonist, I still love the stories, and laugh when he gets trapped in an urn :)”

Duchess: “Ah, I see. Catharsis is one of many great motivators. And I guite agree- arrogance is guite the ugly trait. One should always be aware of their own weakness. Strength is only as useful in tandem with wit.”

Jack: “Very true! Being self aware is very important :) Knowing where one's strength is as well as where one is weak – from there you can turn your weaknesses into your strengths :)

Thats another reason I love reading. Writers, at least, know to resort to wit first.”

Duchess: “Indeed- the good ones do, at least.

Alas, I fear we must pause this conversation for tonight. My brother and I have an early morning tomorrow, and he gets guite irritable if he misses his tea.

[Trevante Rhodes x Reader]

Inspired by a true story on Twitter

You gather up the stray napkins cups and plates littered on the classroom desks left behind from today’s Valentines Day party.  The kids got about a week’s worth of sugar in their system today with all of the cupcakes, cookies and candies supplied as a treat, so let the parents deal with that.  You load up the big black trash bag and tie it off before heading for the whiteboard to wipe off the leftover markings from the lesson you taught earlier today.  Since it was Valentines, it seemed like a nice idea to discuss a couple of Greek and Roman gods and goddesses, teaching their names and meanings as well as providing activities where the students built their own gods and demonstrated their invented meanings.  All went well until the great pencil stealing debate came to fruition.  

Finishing up the whiteboard cleaning, you hear your student’s voice behind you.

“Good Afternoon, miss.”  

You see seven year old Nemour standing there with his hands in his pockets.  

You look at him positively.  “I’m glad you made it back.  Is your father with you?”

Just as you ask, in walks a man suavely rubbing the top of his child’s head.  

“This your class, little man?”  His voice makes an odd tickling in the back corner of your scalp.  A man has entered the chat.  He looks up at you absentmindedly for less than a second before minutely forming into a warm expression.

“You must be Mr. Rhodes, right?”  You put on your best customer service voice before putting out your hand to shake. 

He leads his son by the shoulder gently with one hand and reaches for yours to shake with the other.  

“Last I knew.  Nice to finally meet you.  My son has so many nice things to say about you and what he learns when he comes home.”

You sputter, a little speechless from the compliment.  His grip still cradles your hand in his: palm hot but not sweaty and soft despite the obvious work he does to achieve that body.  His biceps can’t hide anywhere from his heather grey tshirt, in a permanent flex. 

“I am really happy to have your son in my class actually.  He is beyond bright and helpful even, but let’s sit down before discussing this further.”

“After you.”  He offers as you finally pull your hand from his, walking over with a subtle switch to your desk with two chairs sat beside it.  Everyone takes a seat before you begin again.

“So I do want to start off by thanking you for coming in, on Valentines at that.  I don’t take for granted that this is out of the way so I appreciate you sharing the time.”

He shrugs.  “I don’t have no plans.  I wish I was here though, looks like you all shut it down.”

The room was heavily decorated with hearts and streamers of pink and red colors, and little Cupids adorned each child’s desk.

You smile nervously.  “It’s a fun holiday to celebrate so I manage what I can to show that.”

Nemour adds, “We learned about Eros and Arrodit today!”

Mr. Rhodes looks at his son with wide eyed wonder.  “Oh yeah?  Who’s that?”

Nemour shifts in his seat excitedly.  “Um um Eros and Apostrophe are love gods!  They like love and give it to people!”

“You mean Aphrodite, but awesome Nemour, that’s right!”  You encourage your student.

Trevante smiles brightly at his child offering a high five.   “That’s what I like to hear, my boy learning.”

You admire the father son bond in front of you so much, you can tell you’re absolutely melting into your chair.  You could watch them all day but there is still business to take care of.

“But I do want to address what occurred in class today just so that it doesn’t become a habit or bigger than it already is.  Nemour had been accused of taking someone’s pencil today.”

Mr. Rhodes stares at you in a way that makes you clear your throat to fill the silence.  He doesn’t look upset, if anything he looks amused by this topic, eyes smiling with a little tuck of his lips.

“And…”  He goes on.

“…and it was a pencil we reward students with perfect attendance.  It’s pretty specific and the student requested it back but by the time the party started and the day was done the pencil isn’t accounted for.”

Trevante wiggles his legs back and forth with an arm over the back of his son’s chair.  “Haven’t y’all got a box of these perfect attendance pencils to replace the lost one?”

You dance around the answer.  “The point is that it was taken in the first place.  We keep pencils in a cup at the front of the class-”

“Mixed in with everybody else’s?”

“Yes and-”

“So people can just take any pencil…”  He draws out the statement as a question.

You didn’t expect an argument.  “W-well that is the point.  So a student can’t say they forgot their pencil or don’t have one, they can get one from the cup.  We set them together to sharpen them towards the end of the day.”

“And you think keeping a nice pencil along with the basic ones is the best thing around some bright eyed seven years old?”  He asks, stroking his chin for emphasis. “Sounds like some Reagan level trapping.  Son, do you know who Reagan is?”

“No.”  He says.

“Well, back in the 80s-”

You start to feel hot under the collar by his defiance and possible straying into the crack epidemic.  “Nemour, do you mind going to sharpen the cup of pencils while we finish up talking?”  

“Cool!”  Nemour cheers as he walks across to the cup and takes one pencil to begin sharpening.  

“Mr. Rhodes-”

He holds up his palm, bringing it to his heart.  “Please, call me Trevante.”

“Trevante.  I wanted to make sure you understood that my point is Nemour took something that wasn’t his.”

The pencil sharpener drowns out your voice a little, making Trevante lean closer to you.  

“It is just a pencil.”

You raise your voice a little more.  “But it was a special pencil.  He could’ve taken any other pencil but he took the one that is particular to one student.”

Trevante, smiles again.  You don’t understand why but it makes you calm down for a second.

“How long have you been teaching?”

“About two years now.”  You say.

Trevante chuckles, clapping his hands together.  “That explains it!”

“I’m sorry?”  You ask in confusion.

“Being so rule-minded. You this hung up over my son taking a public pencil!  The kid should’ve kept the pencil with them!”

“Rules ensure the world isn’t a crap crowd, first of all. Second, he isn’t getting into trouble over it!  I just want to reiterate that it’s not right to take what’s not yours.”

Trevante shakes his head in disbelief but isn’t tired of the conversation.  “We gettin a little loud Teach, so let’s use inside voices. These kids should learn responsibility for their belongings instead of catering to every possible need, ma’am.  It could take some stress off them shoulders for you.”

You subconsciously adjust the neck of your sweater, flustered over not getting your point across.  “Don’t police my volume, Mr. Rhodes, its the damn sharpener. Well then let me apologize for taking your time.”

“My bad. Like I said, I had no plans and this was the best time waster I have had in a while.  That is a nice sweater by the way.”

You freeze up at the compliment, rewinding that his eyes followed your movement from earlier.  “Thank you.  But next time I’ll just email you, how’s that.”

Trevante smiles genuinely.  “Oh but real life is much more fun, ain’t it? I see what you did there though.  Won’t be a next time, Teach.  I promise.  Right Nemour!”

Nemour stops sharpening.  “Huh Daddy?”

“Don’t take any pencils that ain’t Ticonderoga or #2, K?”

“Yes, sir.”  He says meekly before continuing his sharpening duty.”

Your phone goes off with a text.  “Oh, um.  Well I’ll call this a done meeting right?  Do you have any questions?”

Trevante stares up at the ceiling thoughtfully.  “You got plans this evening? A happy hour perhaps to de-stress?”

You clutch your phone.  “Kind of.  I have a date actually.”

“Ohh, so thats why you aint got a ring...and you wearing that sweater?”

“What is wrong with this sweater??  I thought you liked it!”

He shrugs, looking you over like a runway model coach.  “It’s good for the cute teacher look, but I don’t know about a hot date.”

“Well if I didn’t have this meeting I would have time to change.”

He wags a finger at you.  “Uh uh, don’t blame me.  This coulda been an email, remember?”

You start to stand.  “Yeah, yeah.  Nemour, that’s good enough, thanks!” 

Nemour blows the shavings off his last pencil, returning it to it’s cup and running up to his dad.

“I’ll see you Monday miss!”

“Sure will!  And Mr. Rhodes?”

“Trevante…”

“Trevante…I hope you have a good Valentine’s Day.”

Trevante holds his hand out again for a shake.  “You do the same.”  

Your hand lands in his, giving him a firm squeeze, recording the amount of pressure given back from his.

“And if there is a next time, feel free to call me.  Usually if people don’t get it the first time, I can convince them the second turn of it.  You want me to take this trash out for you?”

“Oh I couldn’t ask you to do that for me.”  You say humbly.

He swings the bag over his broad shoulder, giving you that 100 watt grin one more time.  “Good thing you didn’t ask.  See you later.”

You sit back at your desk, breathing deeply to calm yourself.  As much as parent conferences tested your nerves, his tested yours in a way you wanted to get right the next time.
