Just a tiiiiiny bit of miscommunication for comedic purposes

Fermin was pouting.

Fermin was pouting and Pedro can't figure out why.

They are finally managed to meet up after testing, not seeing eachother for a few weeks properly and now fermin won't even look at him.

Pedro knows his emotions and faces well enough not to be seriously concerned but it's still confusing.

"fer? Baby what is wrong" Pedro puts his hand of his shoulder in hopes of making fermin at least look his way. But it doesn't work, instead fermin just moves further from him on the couch. Not far, clearly showcasing that it's not serious but still, that doesn't feel nice.

It took pedro a lof of effort to finally sneak in into Fermin's motorhome unnoticed only to sit down as close to Fermin as he can on the sofa. They both knew that there is no way of anything happening today, each of them too exhausted after travel and nerves before first race of the season.

So loosing warmth of his lover that he was finally getting after missing it for so long wasn't nice. At all.

But Pedro knew how to play this game and he hoped that with few little tricks he would be able to return everything back to norm quickly.

His hands started to sneak up to Fermin's torso with prolonged "heyyyy" clearly aimd at distracting him for a second. And it was successful! in a blink of an eye instead of getting further away from Pedro, Fermin was suddenly pressed to the couch with smiling face right in front of him.

"hey there beautiful, any chance you tell me what's wrong?" His tone wasn't tender. It's hard to even imagine with his scratchy voice and all but this was pretty close. It was filled with laughter and love and made Fermin weak.

He wanted to keep up the game for a little bit longer maybe get himself a few kisses out of it but he just can't wait. He needs pedro close. instead of answering he just put his hands around Pedro's waist and pushes him down so now he is laying on top of fermin in a bit of an awkward hug. Not that it bothers Fermin.

Still not answering he hides his face in crook of Pedro's neck, now positioned ideally for him to do so. They stay static for a minute. Two.

"-ou cut it." It's muffled and almost like Fermin doesn't want him to hear. Pedro starts getting up, if only to be able to see and hear him better but Fermin keeps his grip tight.

"you cut your hair. Before we had aby time to meet"

It doesn't make any sense to pedro but as to prove his frustration Fermin bites his shoulder

"hey!" This one actually makes pedro move away a bit so he can look him in the face and act all offended but it dies on his lips when he sees just how beautiful flushed Fermin looks under him. They are still playing but he just can't stop himself.

The kiss is soft, short and oh so tender. It makes something inside pedro finally settle, layers of travel stress go away. He can't stop himself from taking Fermin's face in his hands and stroking his cheeks.

View on top of him is disarming, having someone smile so blindingly makes his heart flutter. Without thinking Fermin finally removes his hands from Pedro's waist only to burry them in his hair. Which is. Short

Pedro got lost in his thoughts so light hit to his head feels sudden and unexpected

"you cut it too short! I didn't even had a chance to play with it when it was longer. And you know how rare it happens with you, mr. "It's too i convenient"?" Oh. So this what the problem was

"sorry sorry didn't think my haircut would impact you this much." It's hard to talk between fits of laughter and Pedro doesn't notice when fermin escapes him just to sit in the furthest corner of the couch with his hands over his chest, clearly back to their little game.

"sorryyyyy, but i had that show to attend to and you know how my momma gets if I'm not "fresh" looking when i get on tv" now Pedro changed tactic and instead leaves fluttery kisses in between his words all over Fermin's face and hands after getting closer again

In response he only gest a short dissatisfied "hmpf"

" how about this. I won't cut it until it's same length as it was during testing and you will have all the time you want to do what you want before my next haircut, hm?"

Fermin pretends to think very hard for a moment but it doesn't last long because he breaks into Cheshire smile instead, clearly got what he wanted

"well if you say so... I will need to think for a bit but it does indeed sound appealing if i say so" now he is the one who initiates their next kiss, regrettably short one at it "but i will still be reminding you about this for a while, you will not get a single chance to forget" said faux sternly, any effort getting destroyed by warm hand that curled around Pedro's forearm.

They both start laughing, both sounds scratchy and a bit rough but they mix into a beautiful melody that is playing only for them.

After a while they settle down, curled around eachother on a couch clearly too short for two grown man to cuddle on but they don't care, instead only hold eachother tighter while joking about random youtube video they clicked on just to have something to talk about.

Pedro likes the feeling of big fingers playing in his hair, it's the last thought he has before falling asleep

First pic was reffed from My Own Private Idaho, which ended up being a really bad idea because this focal length was ridiculous to try and flatten out and match with the others lol

Second pic was obvi The Pieta by Michelangelo, but shoutout to my partner for suggesting the role reversal cause I was initially gonna draw Viktor in Jayce's arms again, but having it the other way around gave me the idea for the last piece where they're mutually in each other's arms and on equal ground in the composition

Third pic was reffed from The Blossoming Of Love by Miquel Blay! Had to move Jayce's hand to Viktor's shoulder because he was too yolked for his arm to fit between them lmao
