Summary: This was not the first night Ghost's soulmark had kept him from sleeping. But it was the first time he had a face to put to the name permanently marked into his arm. He'd spent his whole life since the age of ten trying to forget about the name, forget about whatever "grand plan" the universe had for him. But suddenly "Johnny" wasn't just a name anymore. Johnny was a couple doors down the hall. Johnny also had a soulmark, and the idea of having found That One Person set aside for him (imagine that, first of all: someone, something just for Simon? Something he could have? That no one could deny him?) was absolutely terrifying.

I've been down the Bridgerton rabbit hole, despite being into period dramas (my first taste was of Colin Firth as Mr Darcy coming out that lake in the shirt...you know the scene...and it was when it first came out I'm that old) I just wasn't interested in watching Bridgerton for some reason, but I gave it a go the other night and I really did enjoy it. I'm going to watch Queen Charlotte while I wait for season 3 to arrive.

Also I've been absent lately due to a leak in my upstairs bathroom that caused a bit of a problem for me. The plumber can't come until Monday so it's a good thing I have two toilets!

Bobby groans and stops herself from knocking on the door of the bedroom she is stationed in front of. It has been hours. Hours. The moaning and whimpering and sounds of the bed creaking and hitting the wall have not stopped once. She would be impressed if she wasn't so deeply, deeply uncomfortable. There is a long list of things she never wanted to know about and the sounds her teammate makes as she begs Aaliyah Amrohi to do something would have been pretty high on that list. It's almost worse that none of it is that obscene and loud but rather subtle and quiet, only meant for the two women in that room, because then Bobby has to dwell on it, replay and analyze what she thinks she just heard because she still has to do her job and protect them. She really thought these fancy, rich people mansions in the Hamptons would have better sound proofing. OR Bobby's POV. The 5 times Bobby learns something about Cruz and Aaliyah completely against her will and the 1 time she does so willingly.
