a silly little theory about TF2 and its team's !!

Sooo, i was playin some TF2 yesterday, and i stopped to think about somethin: "how the fuck are there multiple of the same mercs?", "how the fuck are there 2 soldiers, both being on opposing teams?", "why the fuck does my team have 8 spies?" well, i think i've figured it out !! So, lets get into it!

THE CLONE THEORY SORTA SUCKS, ACTUALLY

look, i know clones can be cool, and they make sense in the world of TF2, but cmon, its kinda lame. But i got something better. There arent multiple of the same mercs in each team, or in opposing teams. Why? The game aint canon. I know this sounds wild, but i have proof. In the catch up comic, saxton hale himself refers to Team Fortress 2 as a dramatized version of the actual events of the gravel wars.

now, im not saying the mercs arent crazy or wacky, i do firmly believe they are indeed like that, but that means that shit like the unnarmed combat aint canon. And it also means that multiple of the same mercs dont necessarily exist, which means that it could be just our nine main boys fighting each other without like, 7 engineers on the same team. Alrighty, the clone theory's solved, right? Aw shit, it aint.

ABOUT THE TEAM SWAPS:

aw shit, the theory's over, right? Nuh uh. I have something that might explain it.

the mercs constantly switch teams.

i know, it sounds sorta nuts, BUT, i got a theory. RED and BLU constantly try to steal the other team's mercenaries. "the fuck you mean by that?" well, i sorta like to think that the RED mercs constantly receive letters from BLU saying that if they join BLU they'll get a salary three times bigger than the one that they get from RED. And the same thing applies for the mercs on BLU, but with letters coming from RED instead. So, we got that figured out, the mercs constantly switch teams because they want a higher salary.

Now lets address the elephant in the room, the "meet the team" trailers.

THE MEET THE TEAM VIDEOS ARE PROPAGANDA FOR THE PEOPLE OF BADWATER.

I mean, thats pretty much confirmed. Look at this:

but you may wonder: "then how the fuck does shit like meet the medic happen, cause like, yknow, that scene with a fucking horde of soldiers trynna kill medic and heavy" well, this may sound like a stretch, but since its propaganda, i believe engineer could have done some wacky shit to create shit like that. I've got 2 explanations:

explanation number 1: engineer did some wacky as fuck shenanigans to create those hordes of enemies.

as the title says, since engineer is a very, very, very smart little fella, he could've just done some wacky computer magic to create the soldiers present in meet the medic, and by wacky computer magic i mean he just edited the movie to include those soldiers with CGI or some shit like that. (i know tf2 happens in 1969, but if engineer can build a fucking teleporter then he can do CGI)

explanation number 2: ROBOTS !!!!!

this one is ten times more flawed than the first one, but since engi is a very smart little dwarf, he could've just built robots that would act and look like solly and would also try to kill medic and heavy.

THE RESPAWN ROOM:

so, this one is more up to your choice, but i do consider respawning canon. "how tho?" you might ask? I have 0 fucking clue, maybe some teleporter and australium shenanigans?? I dunno man. But thats up to ya!

I think that theory exists because ppl dont want to see romantic subtext between Chihiro and Haku because they see Haku as muchhh older than her.

However I think he's really ageless along with other spirits, especially as a river spirit. That even as the Kohaku River and his stoic nature, he is still around the same age as her spiritually like a preteen or so because he's a literal river spirit. Especially since of when he rescued her in that river, it was such an important experience to him. So I think in that bc rivers reflect, he is in a way a reflection of Chihiro. Water flows and takes shape and stuff. A river doesn't age, and the only way to "kill" it would be to fill it in like and I think that killed him emotionally and figuratively. Why he ultimately forgot his name. I also think her dropping her shoe in the river is another reason Haku is around the same age as her, and not a much older thing. I think his age is purposefully ambigious. And conceptually him being immature, even if he is stoic and composed, makes sense for the other aspects of his personally. That he's not old or young, he's a river. And, his ambigious age doesn't seem to be malicious or weird or anything, especially cause of Miyazaki's views. His age is ambigious in many aspects including emotional maturity, and he's intentionally a character that's hard to read and understand at first glance. So I assume it's like a very literal thing, that Haku is seen as old so ppl do not want to believe there was something between them or that there could be. Personally I think where the movie is, that their relationship is nor platonic nor romantic (transends that) but there is a potential for connection there, Haku just forgot who he was and Chihiro was worried about saving her parents. But when they see each other again I can see Chihiro falling for him and developing a deeper crush on Haku.

I think that's why they decided to cut the line in the English dub too, that they thought it would be wrong for Zeniba to tease her about that bc of how viewers would or might personify Haku as being an older person and be grossed out instead of thinking it's cute and funny.

(also more things 1. Howl is Haku theory is so weird 2. HMC is overrated imo and for some reason affects how people view Ghibli stories as like these cottagecore pieces despite most not being like that 3. I love your art)

I agree on a lot of this actually! I don't think Chihiro and Haku's relationship is platonic or romantic (Though I have shipped them since I was a kid) and they have a much deeper connection just like most Ghibli duos. (Pazu and Sheeta, Ashitaka and San just to name a few) I also always personally saw Haku as a year or two older than Chihiro but ultimately being very ambiguous since these spirits obviously have a very different concept of age and time.

I would like to point out, despite Zeniba's dragon boyfriend line being cut in the english dub she instead says something along the lines of "Only love can break the spell" in a kinda teasing way which I think was supposed to replace the boyfriend part. She actually doesn't say that in Japanese at all! To me that line was meant to convey the same thing and was just placed at a different moment. (I wish I knew why though lol maybe because the boyfriend joke and her serious tone right afterwards didn't feel right? Your reasoning could also be the case though!)

In my opinion I think majority of english speaking fans ship them (and still do) But when that stupid theory came out sooo many people fell for it. I've seen some fans like the theory because of the reason you mentioned which is fine of course, I don't care what people headcanon. But majority of the people I've talked to were just victims to clickbait and misinformation because they always rejoiced afterwards and were like "I can ship them again!!" lmaoo.

TBH I think most ghibli theories just exist as some form of clickbait or because the fans run out of things to talk about in the movies so they just make stuff up based on conjecture. The sibling theory isn't even the first time this has happened with Spirited Away. (It has like 6 more wild theories that don't really make sense.) tim is starting to get his shower ready while alex puts his clothes back on and promptly fucks off like usual, except this time he doesnt fuck off, hes kinda just sitting at the little desk in his underwear, squinting down at the shirt he shown up in. tim gives him a very unsubtle side eye. he doesnt want this prick here any longer than necessary. so he snaps something like, what is it. whats taking so long. and alex looks up at him, chest littered in bites bruises, and he mutters that its nothing, but its clearly not nothing, so tim has to sigh and walk over and see what his problem is. and when he gets closer, he notices that alex is looking kinda pale. the bruises showing up more starkly reddish purple against sort of greened, sickly skin. whats with you, he asks again. alex doesnt answer, until tim lightly swats the side of his head and asks again. alex grumbles that he just feels a little....dizzy. at first time is like, oh wow i fucked you so good that youre straight up like sick now? is that it? and alex is all NO >:-( but then it starts becoming clear he really does not feel well, and tim is kind of frustrated because he does still want to shower, and jay is probably going to want to go out looking around the hospital again tomorrow, but tim is a nice guy. he prides himself on still being kind despite the situation hes in. and he does have a little experience with sickly guys who feel like crap and dont know why, so he runs down the usual questions that he asks jay. when did you last sleep? i dont know, yesterday or the day before. have you eaten today? no- wait yes. well what was it? like a protein bar or something i dont know why does it matter??? then, does anything hurt? i dont know, my head i guess. mainly the back of it. and tim thinks back to earlier, and how he had, albeit a bit forcefully, slammed alex into the wall in order to bite the shit out of his neck. and he wonders... hm. could alex...... have hit his head? well, its likely.

so begrudgingly, tim drags alex to the shitty hotel bed, makes him drink a room temperature bottled water, and after wards alex has his head to his knees, empty stomach and pounding head not agreeing with all the water he'd just downed. and as tim rifles through the food he has on him, he wonders, not really for the first time, why they only have ever met at the places tim's staying before. of course, there was alex's car, but that's not really a place to STAY. he tosses some snack stuff to alex, sits on the bed, and asks him, hey, where are you staying these days anyway? alex snatches the food, tearing open one of the packages, and scowls at him. why do you care???? he looks starving. tim gets a scowl on his face too. well, doesnt It fucking like you or whatever? you seem to be its favorite after all, so i dont think it would really let you just sleep on the side of the road. alex sneers, clearly unamused, and keeps eating through a bag of pretzels. of course i have a place to stay, he snaps, and then doesnt elaborate. they sit in silence with that for a little while, tim more uncomfortably than alex. then he stands up and looks for his clothes and says hes gonna go to the ice machine. when he comes back, maybe he had also bought a few more snacks from the vending machine in the lobby. and maybe its a little gentle when he situates a makeshift icepack under alex's head. they dont do any of this after care shit usually, but tim wonders if maybe. well. maybe if theyre gonna keep doing this, then perhaps they should.

platonic / non-romantic dynamics !! (not in any particular order bcus im awful at ranking)

Dynamis & King & Tithi - people whove known me for a bit probably have read some texts or threads on twitter about me rambling about them. this dynamic is the case of "there's a few frames of them together and some interactions; im gonna place them all into a pod now" and me taking the little characterization they have and stretching it so far. but idgaf !! it's my brain i get to do what i want !! i've got a sort of brother/familial dynamic with them. i remember some scenes where Tithi held onto King and adjdjdjdj it was just very adorable and it's stuck with me for a while. and we also have one of the ending scenes where Tithi is with Dynamis at Mist Mountain. Tithi is the center of this dynamic really, because King and Dynamis don't really have any direct/1-on-1 interactions in the show. i like to imagine the Tithi-Influence-Banter Dynamis and King would have; Dynamis being the more "responsible" older brother and King the more daring and reckless middle brother. Tithi takes from both of them, and Dynamis ends up scolding King when they both get into trouble. the thing i like a lot about them though too is that i get to expand on Dynamis a little more. bro has been stuck in a temple all his life and grew up having to live up to his life's purpose !! it's all over now !! let the man have fun !! heal his inner child as he King drags him to events with Tithi !! i don't think i can project my eldest sibling experience on him though. (that's for vita...sorry vita...). in canon this dynamic probably wouldn't work out the way i have it in mind because they all live in separate places, but i think even then they could have a close bond. Tithi would look up to both King and Dynamis and be happy whenever he talks to them and visits them.

Zhouxing & Bao - this one has been brewing in my brain a bit i need to talk about it more purely shitpost material (/hj). they would start off with the most one-sided beef (from Zhouxing). yeah they dont have any interactions in canon really except for that one indirect one. but again this is my brain. same guy different fonts; one gets bitches the other is bitchless; Zhouxing has to deal with another guy who basically holds the same role as him from an opposite team/group; they both lost to the same green guy Zhouxing starting the beef is sooo funny to me. obviously the two of them would be a bit hostile/suspicious of each other at first because of Beylin Temple history, but this is all after the Nemesis Crisis so there's a truce now. this new Bao guy is clearly on his level and Zhouxing needs to challenge him in everything. he has to prove that he's the superior pretty guy (by annoying the shit out of Bao). Bao doesn't catch on to what's happening for a while until Zhouxing does something crazy and Bao snaps and is like "dude what the HELL is your PROBLEM?!" (Bao is now committed to the fight). At some point after, they get along. Bao is like "dude if you just told me you wanted to fight I would've fought you." They become homies (sort of) (they still sort of hate each other) (not seriously though). this is one of those "guy who's silly and guy who's serious" kind of dynamics and that's probably why i like it a lot adjdjdjdj. Bao is more of a no-games sort of guy before the Nemesis Crisis and probably a little bit after. but those days are over !! time to put him in the middle of a found family (WHZ) and figure out how to fit in with the Rizz Blader being his rival (that he had no say in) from it.

Masamune & Lera - MLM WLW SOLIDARITYYYYY !!!! AND ALSO HOSTILITYYYYY !!!!! they're the "they didn't allow us to be friends in canon because we would be too powerful" duo. they're the meme of the lesbian flag stick figure kicking the gay flag stick figure. they will tell anyone that asks that they think the other is insufferable, but they always have a blast whenever they chat. Laz has spoken about them before and I adore them <3 I think Lera would find Masamune very annoying but also he's entertaining and he's so easily amused by everything that she can state the most random facts about anything and he'll either jaw drop in amazement or in complete utter despair. They both seem very chatty i think they could talk to each other non-stop for hours. they definitely share the beef and gossip about other people.

Tsubasa & Yu - (explodes into tears) one of the best dynamics in the entire show (and one i actually have canon to go off of !! wow !!). the way they have a rocky first start but later develop as a duo with a really close bond is so :(( tears in me eyes :(( Tsubasa and Yu not seeing eye-to-eye throughout their interactions in Fusion, but later getting along and supporting each other after the Dark Nebula falls. Yu starts to stick to Tsubasa and values him very much, and vice versa (which makes Tsubasa's conflicts in Metal Masters more heartbreaking for me </3) . They are the brothers ever <3 Tsubasa picked up a stray cat (fox, really) and he follows him around sometimes <3

Dynamis & Pluto - deity ik you don't give a fuck about them but I DO !! AND IM GOING TO BE UNWELL FOR A MOMENT !! (as you can tell i am heavily influenced by Alexis) (and also i like to grasp for straws) (i am going off by both implied/very far-reached canon and solar swap au). this will probably be the shortest explanation for those reasons. and also i cant put my thoughts into words to how these guys make me feel. i just. the. the way that those two in canon know each other and have had to known each other for years. they knew their destinies and that they inevitably would fight each other at the end of it all. they've definitely got some crazy history and it's FUCKED UP that the show didnt do anything with that (i say for the thousandth time)

Hi there! I don't know if you'll have anything to say aside from what you told that other person asking about building towns, but. I don't DM, but I have been interested in creating cities based off medieval history for D&D lately. However, I'm kinda at a roadblock when it comes to structuring that info. I tried to find a blank sheet or something but had no luck. How do you (or others) usually arrange information? Also, if I were to come up with something I liked, should I send it here?

though somehow, through his troubles and “dark impulses”, he found you-- his beloved spouse. got married as soon as the two of you could, knowing each other since he started his second gang, kanto manji gang.

it sounds really cheesy; the both of you knew that, but frankly, who was to judge when you still loved each other like any other couple?

the years pass and manjirou disbands kanto manji gang and heads off to start up something new... bonten. before that, he cuts and bleaches his hair to match someone he knew of (apparently). though he’s not much of an artist, he designs the logo and insists that he gets it as a tattoo. 

and he changes. he becomes more and more cold towards you and everyone else around him. you worry that you had done something for this to happen, but after days and days of thinking, you couldn’t think of anything you had done.

you were relatively easy-going with his decisions, and often times supported him unconditionally. so what happened? you really couldn’t figure it out, but you did know one thing amidst your roaring questions.

you still loved him, and you were sure that he still loved you. deep down, he cared for you in different ways, but he always swore to protect you and keep you happy.

in just a few days from now, it was going to be you and manjirou’s 10th year wedding anniversary, though you haven’t even been seeing each other much since he rarely came home and when he did, he would either come home at ungodly hours of the night or ignore you completely. it honestly hurt a little to be married and in love with a man who barely acknowledges your existence anymore.

“what should i do... wait will he even come home on time!?”

you laid your head down on the table of the vip room of a bar that your husband owned. next to you was a mostly-sober yuzuha, accompanying your drunken breakdown. a few shot glasses were strewn across the marble top.

“you’ve asked that about twenty times already, (y/n). let’s get you a ride home--”

“NOPE! i can... i can walk home..!” you retort, though clearly under the influence. “i’m a grown adult, i’ll be fine!!”

you were not fine, though you got home safe.

there was lots of drunk people out on the streets-- catcalling you vulgarly, calling you slurs, you name it. not like you were so much more sober than them, but you were sober enough to process their words.

for the majority of your life, as far as you could remember, you were either the top dog that everyone listened to and praised or protected by mikey, so you forgot how it felt for this to happen.

once you got home, just just went straight to your shared bedroom to see yet another note on your nightstand. it looked like scribbles to you at the moment, so you made the executive decision to just not read it, like the past few notes you’ve gotten. it was probably from mikey, seeing how he was the only other person with the key, and it probably said that he wasn’t gonna be home for a while (again).

you sigh, softly landing on the giant bed. somehow, it wasn’t the lonely, stone cold bed it usually was. it was surprisingly warm.

alarmed, you jump up and take a better look at the assumed-empty bed. there laid your husband, still in his normal all-black clothing. jeez, did this man ever change his clothes? they must be dirty and musty to say the least.

“manjirou?!”

“that’s me, alright.” your heart started to race, and breathing started to become heavy. he notices this and his eyebrows furrow. 

“hey, hey, what’s wrong, sunshine?” 

sunshine. he hadn’t called you that in years. 

“why don’t you ever fucking come home, you douche??” at this point you were sobbing. as if the alcohol you consumed wouldn’t make you dehydrated, the crying would. “you make me so worried, you know that??”

he gets up from the bed and gives you a soft hug. you nuzzle your head into his shoulder while your bawled your eyes out. there were faint traces of some kind of cologne on him, and it seems like he just showered too.

“c’mon, let’s go to bed. i’ll explain everything to you when you wake up.” he tightens the embrace.  “just remember that i’ll always love and protect you.”

after a few more minutes of his warm embrace, you let go. 

“the (y/n) i know doesn’t cry like this. they’re always bubbly and smiling.” he gives you the biggest smile you’ve ever seen him give anyone.

“and most importantly, the one who’s given my life meaning.”

and no matter how much he loved you, you loved him back even more. like it was some kind of competition. “who could love each other more” every single day. sometimes the two of you would flirt inside of the petshop after closing and kazutora would be sick of it after a long and tiring day.

“i know you love each other, but would it kill you if you just waited until you got home??”

“nah, i gotta recharge my energy so i can help you.”

the two of you enjoyed doting on each other and always went out of your day to do some kind of act of service for the other, especially during work hours.

for example: you would purposely wake up late and promise to take the train over to the petshop every so often to give it to him when you finished.

“yeah, it’ll just get it over to you! you should go before you’re late again, fuyu.”

he, on the other hand, would show up unannounced, saying that there was an emergency but it was just that he was taking you out of work early that day for a date. (he would do this while the two of you were in school too.)

he was... quite dramatic.

all would end well anyway. either it was a day off for you or a small visit that’ll always make his day was enough for the both of you.

it would all become good memories anyway. the two of you promised to always stay together, even if times were tough. you were like the epitome of the ideal couple, really. everyone in high school was jealous of the two of you and how perfect you were.

“wow, look at matsuno and (l/n), aren’t they cute together?”

“i would be devastated for them if they ever split up!”

from the start, this relationship wouldn’t have started if not for your bubbly attitude. always so friendly to everyone, and never really held any real grudges.

𝐈𝐙𝐀𝐍𝐀 was weary of love. he was an orphan, and the son of a whore. not to mention that he was mixed in a mostly homogenous society like japan, he was destined to be outcasted from the start.

he had only experienced familial and platonic love once in his life separately. sano shinichirou and kakuchou hitto, respectively. 

he had felt betrayed by the man who he had called his brother, and never wanted to look back. he believed that love was fake, and that kakuchou was his only crutch in this world.

or that was what he thought until he had met you.

unlike him, you loved everyone. you were friends with everyone. and you didn’t care about what they looked like, did, or came from. as long as they weren’t an immediate threat, you were determined to make them your friend.

of course, this applied to izana. and maybe a little too well. because he quickly fell in love with your positive attitude towards everything. obviously, you knew how to still know right from wrong and when to acknowledge reality from positivity, but you were bright.

and he loved that about you.

the two of you met while he was on a bench in a park. it was a particularly nice day and you had taken a day off from work, so a nice stroll would make your day better, wouldn’t it?

it was getting a little dark at that point, though it was in a pretty well-lit area so you weren’t so scared. for years, you took martial arts classes and climbed up the ranks and ever since then, you continued to practice your skills though quit the formal classes. quite a formidable opponent, if you do say so yourself.

during your short saunter around the small park, you saw a tanned man with outgrown white hair. it looked natural, and it didn’t seem like it would be because of any type of albinism. he was laying on a bench, cuddling to himself on the cold autumn evening.

“uh, sir, would you like something..? like a blanket or a jacket..?” he looks up at you with the most empty eyes you had ever seen on a person.

“no, i’m fine.” and he left it at that. he didn’t even look at you, though he saw a glimpse of your clothing and liked to refer to you as the “red scarf person”. 

from that point on, you took it upon yourself to see if he was there every night. spoiler alert: he was. 

after a few consecutive nights of spotting him on the exact same bench, you decided to offer him a place to stay. you weren’t the wealthiest, but you had enough space and money to take care of someone by yourself for a few months.

you took in a big breath, preparing yourself for possible rejection or a random dude living with you because you cared too much. 

“okay... i can do this. this is fine, he’ll just move out at some point anyway...” you mumbled to yourself.

as you made your way towards him, you checked your back if you had the backpack full of items for him if he didn’t accept. if you couldn’t house him, then you would at least have things to help him.

“hello?” you meekly peeked towards the spot where the tanned man laid to see if you were intruding as if you weren’t in a public park outside and in front of a bench.

he glances up, recognizing that red scarf that you had worn every time you went to check up on him inconspicuously. he didn’t wanna show it, but he was excited. he saw you hiding behind trees and pretending not to be there for the past few days.

“hm? there something you need?” on the outside, he seemed indifferent. on the inside, his heart was bouncing around, though he just felt like he shouldn’t trust you.

“oh! hi! i don’t know if you remember me but i’m the one who asked if you needed a blanket or jacket the other day?” he looks at you with bored eyes, though you could tell that he was fairly interested. “well, i was wondering if you were interested in a place to stay? you can, um, can stay at my place for the time being..! i know it’s weird to suddenly have a stranger come up to you and--”

“--okay.” 

you blink, trying to process what he has just muttered. 

OH MY GOD HE JUST AGREED... WHAT DID I GET MYSELF INTO??

“sure thing!! you must be cold-- i have a spare coat in my backpack that i brought. you can keep it, it’s old anyway.” he thanked you and you started to making your way back to your apartment, every once in a while looking back at him to make sure he was following along.

once you got to your apartment, which was actually quite far away by foot, the man stops at the doorway.

“if i died, would you be sad?” what a weird question. you laughed a little, though he didn’t.

“of course i would! why wouldn’t i?” he smiles.

“i’ll think of you too.”

in reality, he saw you as someone who would always stay by his side, just as the sun always came back after each night.

𝐊𝐎𝐊𝐎 was always left alone or used for his money-making prowess. he never really had any lasting friends, especially after leaving inui.

just like another certain bonten executive, he would only trust and be loyal to mikey, believing that everyone is a backstabbing bitch or would end up leaving him.

it was another night with the other executives. at a bar, out in the open, though each person hired someone to accompany them. 

you and koko had met years before him reaching out to hire you. it had probably been almost half a decade before this, honestly. he was attracted to your positive view on the world and everyone around you.

he found you intriguing.

as someone who never really had someone who would keep to his side, he really wondered how someone could trust others so innocently-- so easily, just as he used to.

he also denied the fact that he actually did have feelings for you. not just platonic feelings, but romantic ones.

but god, there was just something about you that he just couldn’t explain. something that always brought him back to you.

maybe it was the way you presented yourself. confident, flawless, and very animated. never could he imagine you being down in the dumps.

Also this is the first time I have ever used tumblr, and my grammar is very poor. I will try and get used to the way tumblr works and hopefully if I have any motivation I will start writing more :) My writing skills are bad so this is going to be choppy

No..no, no, no, this can’t be it

As I took a step into my apartment I heard my husband in the bathroom humming a soft tune. 10 minutes. The pills. The cop. The pocket watch.

“Hey, I didn’t hear you come in”

I looked up to see h/n (Husbands name) walking towards me with a smile and pulling me in to a passionate kiss.

“I made desert, let me know if your in the mood” He stated while making his way on to the couch.

I give a quick nod signaling that I would tell him when I was ready. Quickly glancing around my home I made my way to the sink and filled up a mug of water, the floorboards creaking in a specific spot as I ambled to the bathroom. I opened the medicine cabinet grabbing ahold of the sleeping pills and pouring them into the mug, and going back into the living room to see h/n reading a book.

"I think its a good time for desert” I suggested

“Ok, babe” h/n replied with a sweet smile

He noticed the cup in my hand and turned around to the fridge and got the desert out. I placed the drugged mug by where h/n was sitting and got my own mug instead.

“So how was work?”

“It was alright, met a couple of new people, Its going great” I said as I saw h/n drinking his water

“How about you? How was your day?”

“Same old day I guess it just repeats itself” he said as his eyes started drooping down into a sleepy matter

“Im feeling so tired all of a sudden, Im gonna go lay down”

As soon as I saw h/n close the bedroom door I scampered to the closet and closed the door behind me aware that the cop will be here in a few minutes

He made his final call making his way into the bedroom,hearing the light switch turn on a scream came from the man as he layed unconscious on the floor. After hearing nothing but silence I crept out the door into the room, searching for the valuables from the cops uniform

My hand trembled to the gift lying on the table next to the flowers, I held it and stuffed the box into my front pocket. I took my time staring at the man in awe and confusion

He’s already told me why he’s here, he told me he was a good friend of my husband’s father. He’s hiding something.

“Augh- what- you little shit”

The cop was stirring awake from the electrocution but only figuring it all together that he was handcuffed. He glared at my shoes as some kind of threat and saying words, pleading to be let go, I reached into my pocket pulling out the box and showing the man the name on the necklace

“Do you recognise this name?”

“Dahlia? Yeah I knew her so what?”

“Do you know anything about her?”

“Yeah, she was the mother of your husbands sister”

Mother of my husband’s sister? But that was my mothers name

“Just let me go you prick”

“I promise im innocent I dont have anything to do with this”

“Okay maybe if you let me go, I wont kill you” the cop stated in a cold and tone

“Im here for a pocket watch very valuable… do you have it?”

Thoughts were running in my head as I went to go to the bathroom to get the strange watch

A bead of sweat drip down my forehead as I smelled the scent of blood coming from the other room

The watch was broken. Turning the long handle I fixed it back to its place, 2 minutes before 12. I saw the world turn into a dark abyss, the watch turning anti clock- wise, my hand slowly fading into the tiles of the bathroom, my eyes growing heavy and started to close putting me into a deep sleep

Uh Oh (Sykkuno x F!Reader)

Oneshot (maybe part of a series??? idk we’ll see): The Prequel to “Impasta” in which reader meets the gang for the first time and experiences a betrayal. Mainly Friendship

Warning: non-beta, I wrote this in one go and full sent it. 

You were a small time Twitch streamer that had recently befriend a streamer with a much larger audience, ValkyRae.  You had been talking back and forth for quite some time, since Rae’s dm to you weeks ago. You were mainly an rp channel where you played games like GTA, The Sims, and Animal Crossing. Though you gained a lot of your followers from playing League, though it mostly consisted of hate-followers that would only critique your gaming, even though you were pretty good at it. But it doesn’t bother you too much *que sob*

You were streaming GTA on a RP server playing an amish girl on a Rumspringa and wreaking havoc. You and your ‘gang’ had successfully finished hitting a bank truck ,causing your character to rake in a few thousand dollars, when you got a message from Rae asking you if you had wanted to play a few rounds of the popular game among us. 

“Alright guys, a friend asked if I wanted to join her lobby of among us. I know it’s different from the stuff i usually stream, but is that something you guys would be cool with?” You asked your chat and watch an influx of people messaging ‘yes’ or ‘pog’. You take a sip of your Starbucks and picked up your phone to message Rae that you’ll be joining. “Fair warning, I’ve never played among us. So we’ll see how this goes, guys” 

While you waited to be invited to the discord and into the lobby, you chatted with your viewers for a bit. “I just realized that I’m really awkward around new people. Like when I’m playing on the GTA Rp Server, I’m not myself, I’m a character you know? So it’s easier to talk with other people, cause they’re also role playing. Plus I don’t think I can call anyone in the discord a musty dusty rat bitch lol or sell them drugs, it’s not that kind of game...unless?...” You laugh as you login to your discord and accept the invite to the discord “alright guys! here we go~”

You enter the discord call and hear people talking. 

“Y/N!” Rae exclaims “Guys this is my new friend y/n”

“Hi” Responding to the various voices greeting you

“OK, so the code is in the chat and so are the bubbles, so your chat can see who is talking and what not” Rae explains

You input the code and saw your little character in the space ship. “Oh god guys look at us!” You ran your little character around the ship “How do we change colors? I’m not feeling this blue and I saw Rae with her lil creepy mask”

You read your chat tell you what to do so you went to the little computer to change the blue to white and clicked through all the hats til you decided on the pink flower. “How about this guys? Yellow is my favorite color but its taken”

“Alright, you ready y/n?” Rae asked

“Yup” you respond by running circles around her character

“OK i’m starting. Don’t forget to mute and close chat. You can open it back up if your imposter or dead” Rae sang “Good luck~”

“Alright chat I gotta close you til the game is done? I guess” You hum as the words ‘crewmate’ pop up. “Well at least i’m not imposter, i know the game. I mean who hasn’t at this point. I just never played it, seems to be to nerve wracking”

You open the map icon and run to where the closet yellow exclamation point was, which was admin. You make sure to note all the colors around you in there as you swipe your card “Alright, green, yellow, brown,red, and orange” You repeated the colors over and over again as you make your way into electrical when you notice something “Ok uh green is following me? I don’t know why but its freaking me out.” The lights turn off and you start freaking out “Oh god, this is where I die. Don’t I? You know what do it. Kill me! It’s probably a good idea. I’m kind of an idiot and it’ll help me figure things out on my own without the pressure” You follow the arrow pointing to a panel and you click on it “What am i supposed to do? You know green, this would be the perfect opportunity to murder me in cold blood... is this how you do it?” You flip the switches so that they are all bright green and the lights turn on “YAS BITCH, I did it” 

The green character kind of just circles your body as you do tasks in electrical, you do download, wires, and power diverter. “Ok BUT WHY IS HE FOLLOWING ME!!” 

An orange body had been reported and that two others had died (bright green and pink) and the person who reported the body was black or as his name read ‘Abe’ “Ok, so this body was in admin on card swipe”

“Well this body couldn’t have been me or y/n” Sykkuno says “I was following her this entire time”

“Yea, I’d like to know why lol? You were kinda freaking me out dude” You laugh a bit trying to play off how nervous you were to call him out on it

“Oh No! I was protecting you” Sykkuno explains “I promise”

“Sykkuno? Are you already simping for someone?” Rae feigns exasperation 

“No really guys!” He explains nervously “The new person always dies first, so I was just trying to protect her.”

You hum and smile mischievously “Unless, your just trying to gain my trust only to murder me in coldblood in front of my bestie Rae, to prove your superiority over her!?!”

Rae gasps “Really Sykkuno!?! I’m voting you just for that!”

“Wah? No wait! It’s not like that really” Sykkuno starts laughing as Rae votes “Oh God did you really vote for me?”

“Yes” Rae says and you start laughing 

“So anyways, Leslie’s body is in admin?” Hafu says wanting to talk more about the body and get all the sus’s and clears

Though you gasp when you realized a few things “wait I have some info to share” teasing Sykkuno had loosened you up a bit “it was me,green,yellow,brown,red, and orange in admin. Then me and green, uh Syyykkkuunnoo? Sorry if i didn’t say your name right, left and went into electrical, then lights were called and I fixed them before finishing off my tasks in there. So the body must’ve died during lights unless she left and came back into admin after lights were fixed? which doesn’t make much sense, sooo yea” you smiled “look at me chat! being all smart and shit” 

“yes” Poki agrees “I left admin also with Rae just before lights were called”

“Ok, so I know that puts sus on me, but I went straight to lights when they were called” Hafu says “Someone on the right side must’ve vented when lights were off. Like I was entering the hallway from storage with Tina when lights got fixed and we went to reactor room together. So it couldn’t have been me. Maybe Tina? I dont know which way she come from, but it was not me”

“That is true. I did meet up with Hafu at storage, but I don’t know man” Tina says “ I was doing download in comms”

“Oh god” You tell chat “I don’t know whether to believe Hafu or not. I know she is really good, along with Toast, but he hasn’t said anything”

“Well it is seven and we don’t vote on seven, so we can skip. Just putting a sus on Hafu” Rae says

“Yes please do” Hafu says as she votes to skip

“Do we know where the other bodies are?” Poki asks as the seconds start to dwindle down to zero “Also Toast? Why are you so quiet?”

“I’m trying to figure out a new strat, so don’t you worry. I’ll catch the killers” Toast starts to evil laugh and that was the end of the meeting.

“Ok we’re susing Hafu for this.Though I don’t think it’s her only cause I remember watching one of her imposter plays and it would be a too obvious kill,since so many people were there, it just doesn’t make sense, so someone venting in and killing is plausible or could be a self report? I don’t know lol It’s my first game” You run with Sykkuno and finish up your tasks together. Though lights were called when you both were at shields, you can see the vent pop open and in your little vision bubble you see a flash of red “Whelp this is where I die, I’d like to rate Sykkuno an 8 out of 10 for protecting me, but obviously I am now died” True to your word Rae killed you and you saw Sykkuno running around like a headless chicken when he reports your body 

“Oh God! They got her when I was trying to protect her!” Sykkuno exclaims 

“Sykkuno! You were supposed to be protecting her!?” Rae shouts “What happened? Did you kill her in cold blood? hmm?”

“smh Rae, you murdered me right in front of Sykkuno” You sigh “Well chat looks like I’m dead and we can speak now”

“No!” Sykkuno denies “I said I was going to protect her. I wouldn’t kill her after saying that”

“Well she’s dead now Sykkuno! Where’s the body?” Toast dramatically says

“It’s in shields. It happened when lights were off” Sykkyno says “I’m sorry y/n, I couldn’t protect you”

“Aw that is so cute” You pout at his apology, it wasn’t his fault. It was dark, so obviously he couldn’t see

“Well I don’t think Sykkuno did this, He said he was protecting her to everyone, so I can say that he’s crew” Hafu says “I’m at light panel, I remember seeing Poki and Tina there”

“I can confirm this” Poki says “So Toast let’s hear your big brain play. What’s your strat?”

It was silent for a minute, before Toast admits that he doesn’t have one.

“Ok so we can all agree that Toast is the imposter right?” Rae says “Vote him outta here!”

“Yep” Tina agrees hitting that vote on him and many follow suit

“Wait guys! WAIT! I do! I do have a strat” Toast screams out “Uhhh... wires! The wires guys!”

“Lol they’re gunna vote him off” You watch people voting “Rae is probably gunna win this”

“Yea, you’ve done that pay before” Poki laughs

“Don’t worry I’ll skip Toast” Sykkuno says 

“Why would you skip if we’re on 6?” Rae asks “Is Toast your imposter buddy?”

“Wah? I said I was protecting y/n, why would I kill her?” Trying to make his innocence obvious 

“Unless you killed her by accident or Toast did and you’re trying to protect him like the Simp you are!” Rae accuses him

Tina starts to also question Sykkuno “Wait a second, I dont think I’ve seen you do a single task this entire game! You’ve just been following y/n all around! We should vote him off next!”

“Guys, I swear it’s not me, it just doesn’t make sense” You can hear him plead “Oh no guys, how did this get twisted? It’s Rae! But how did it go to thinking Sykkuno as imposter?”

The meeting ends with Toast screaming into the abyss as he is yeeted out with Sykkuno telling him that he voted to skip.

“Ok then chat, looks like the imposters are gunna win, lets talk for a bit” You sigh and start reading the comments “ I know that I didn’t talk much with them, but I’m just awkward in general and I don’t know what to say to them. This is the first time playing with a group like this where i’m supposed to be myself and not a character.”

The words Defeat appeared on screen and there was Hafu and Rae as imposter. “I honestly didn’t think it was Hafu”

“Hafu was that you that killed Leslie in admin? I didn’t think it was “You asked when you returned to the lobby

“NO! I got framed by my own partner” Hafu explains before taking her bathroom break

“How did Rae get that kill cause I was with her?” Poki asks

“I vented from Caf back into admin when lights were off” Rae laughs “and I vented into shields and killed y/n right in front of Sykkuno!”

“Im sorry for not being able to protect you” Sykkuno runs circles around my character “Next round I’ll do better! I promise”

You laugh and start chasing after him in the ship “What if you end up as imposter?”

“Then I’ll have to look away as my imposter buddy kills you” Sykkuno laughs behind his hand and clears his throat “Im joking, Im joking, I promise”

“Wow Sykkuno” You tsk and run over to the opposite side of the room “I don’t know if I want your protection services now”

“Uh” Sykkuno splutters “I’m joking I promise! I won’t kill you as imposter”

“Wait til Corpse hears you simping over someone else” Poki says before starting the game

“Wait Hafu is still in the bathroom!” Rae exclaimed, but it was to late to stop the game from starting, so she’ll have to jump in when she comes back. Though you swear you feel your heart jump out of your chest when the words Imposter read on you screen. The 1st of the night for you and another in a row for Hafu.

“Oh God guys. Hafu is in the bathroom, but she has to carry us” You start to panic “What we do we do!?! Wait is Sykkuno seriously gunna follow us? Should we kill him or would that be to obvious?” You see the chat tell you that it would be to obvious and that it would be better to maybe frame him, but it seems to mean to you “Should we kill someone in front of him? You know to test his loyalty? It’s a terrible idea”

Though before you go on to fake tasks, you see Sykkuno standing on top of Hafu’s body, so you also go ontop of Sykkuno’s and to the outside perspective you are protecting Hafu, but really for you it’s to ensure that your imposter partner is going to be walking around and killing people,once she comes back from the bathroom. It seems that Hafu is back from the bathroom as her yellow character starts making her way away from you both. You and Sykkuno make your way to admin when lights get called and Sykkuno starts to wiggle his body around into a corner. It seems as though he wants you to stack with him in a corner, but before you do you double back when you see a body pass by and kill them, though you start to laugh when you see your character kill Rae, before ‘stumbling’ into Sykkuno’s view in the corner. You both stay there as lights turn back on and go on card swipe. You think about juking Sykkuno, but realize that it’ll look sus on you for ditching him. So you two just walk around ‘completing’ tasks as every once in a while the lights would go off and you two will stack on each other or wait for doors to open which you had been closing alot of them. 

“Honestly guys I’m at a point were I just wanna murder someone in front of him” You start to evil laugh as you both stack in the corner of medbay as lights start turning on when a body got called

“It’s toast, it’s toast, it’s toast” Hafu chants as it was her who reported the body “I saw him kill Poki”

“oh she self reported” you note and click on Toast’s name but not locking in your vote just in case. You also noticed that four people had died “She killed three people!?! Wow she is beast in this game! Holy Shit guys”

“see, from my perspective it’s hafu. I didn’t see the kill, but I did see blood splatter and Hafu immediately reported the body and blamed me, so it has to be Hafu. I’m voting her” Toast explains and votes her

“no no no no no no no. I saw you kill her when lights got fixed.” Hafu describes her side and what she did in that round “ Ok guys I was afk for like the first 20 seconds and I see Sykkuno and y/n there standing on me in caf., and I’m just doing my tasks, which I finished by the way, so I’m just going back and forth going to cams and just walking around to find any dead bodies. So if you saw cams on in the last 30 or so seconds it was me. I’ve also been fixing lights too! Peter and Leslie should be able to vouch for me on that! But on this round of lights I’m making my way to go help fix them when i see blood flicker in my little bubble and as it starts to get bigger I see Toast walking away from it. Its Toast. It is 100% Toast.” She locks her vote on him “Vote him please. If you don’t vote then you’re either imposter or just throwing”

“I don’t know guys” You start and hover your mouse over the green checkmark next to Toast’s name “I’ve been with Sykkuno the entire round and we did guard Hafu’s body. For Hafu to say that she saw Toast kill, but toast didn’t see Hafu kill? It just doesnt make sense so I’m voting Toast” You lock your vote in when Hafu reminds everyone that crew has to vote together since it is on six. Reminding Peter and Leslie that Hafu has been fixing lights got their votes, but Sykkuno was hesitant “You know I can never vote Toast guys, but I have been with y/n this entire time and I know it’s not her. So, I’m sorry Toast but uh” He locks his vote in for either Hafu or Toast? Who knows if he’s simping over Toast hard.

“Sykkuno?” You can hear Toast tremble his voice “Sy-sykkuno? Who did you vote for? Sykkuno!?!?! Do- Don’t tell me...did you really vote me?”

“I uh “ He clears his throat as the votes get out and all of us had voted Toast 

Toast gasps “Sykkuno!?! How could you!?!?!”

“I’m sorry! I just trust y/n!” Sykkuno explains as Toast’s body once again gets yeeted out into space. 

“Wow guys, looks like we’re gunna win our first imposter game!” You wiggle around happily “and we literally did nothing...wait we killed Rae! We got our revenge from the last round mwua hahahahaha”

Sykkuno and I run circles around each other before walking back into medbay. You can see Hafu kind of trailing behind and the doors get locked with us three in it, but Hafu is just standing there. “Chat what is Hafu doing? Why is she just standing there” You can see Sykkuno step on the med scan “Wait she wants ME to kill SYKKUNO! Oh god that is so evil lol but i’m so useless as imposter, so I might as well get in at least 25% of the kills” 

Once Sykkuno steps off you just murder him and you see that you had won.

“I- I can’t believe you just killed me!?! I trusted you y/n” Sykkuno exclaims

“Sykkuno” Rae sighs “she KILLED ME in caf! Why did no one NOT SEE MY CHOPPED BODY IN CAF!”

You just laugh “I’m sorry Sykkuno, but my chat was telling me that Hafu wanted me to kill you”

“Yea, cause I did like all of the kills and sabotages” Hafu recounts who and how she killed 

“Sykkuno, you giant simp. I can’t believe you vote me” Toast tsk’ed 

“I can’t believe y/n was the imposter! and she killed me!” Sykkuno shakes his head “you know what i’m no longer protecting you anymore”

“Wait Sykkuno I’m sorry. Really” You giggle 

“No no no it’s ok, it’s all part of the game” Sykkuno reassure you that he is not actually mad and that he hoped you had fun “But i wont be protecting you from now on, I have scars now”

So, you play a few more games before calling it quits and end your stream. Later on, you find that Sykkuno started following you on Twitter and Instagram, You totally did not stalk both of his pages and you totally don’t think that he’s cute.....

SideNote: You totally murdered someone in front of Sykkuno and he totally didn’t snitch on you. Instead he protected you as you ran around killing more people in front of him and like the giant Simp he is he totally went ‘I neva snitch on you Daddy, I hold a brick for you Daddy’.

If you're going to order a ton of food and then want to change up one sandwich or add something, DO NOT insist that I delete everything so you can start over. You are not going to confuse me by asking to put a burger into a meal or add a chicken sandwich. What you are going to do is confuse the people making the food when I delete everything they've either made already or are in the middle of making and put it all back. At best you annoy them, at worst you cause them to make your order twice and waste food. I will not be confused, I will read your order back specifically to double check that I have not gotten confused. You have wasted my time by making me ring the order up once, by you waffling around while you decide yoy need to change something, making me delete it all, and ring it up again a second time. 

On a second note, why do some customers order food like they're in 8 out of 10 Cats Countdown just choosing things willy nilly? It's fine to take a moment and figure out your order, not just be like a caveman blurting single words  "Cheeseburger... chicken sandwich.... large fry... cheeseburger... another cheeseburger... large coke... another cheeseburger... a medium fry... one more chicken sandwich... and a medium sprite " sooo you want four cheeseburgers, a large chicken sandwich meal with a coke, a medium chicken sandwich meal with a sprite. It aint that hard. No, dont argue with me that I forgot your fries or that you didnt want them in the meals. This is exactly what you ordered.

With a huff, he picked up his phone, calling up some of his friends. “Shitty hair, did you get one of these things too?” Bakugou yelled as his red haired and laughing counterpart answered his question “Well hello to you too Bakubro! I did, I'm planning on inviting Mina , she said she always wanted to go to one of those Masquerade Balls, She'll probably leave me for the girls anyway! Why don't you bring that one girl.. What was her name, Er Cassy? Carie? Camie? Yeah Camie! Why dont bring her?” Kirishima rambled. “ Hell NO, she's been dating some guy from their old highschool, that big wind brute. They've been dating, and me and her were a fling a while ago , why they hell would you even say that?” Bakugou huffed as Kirishima laughed once again, stopping his yelling blonde friend. “How about [ ]?” Kirishima said as the blonde on the other side fell silent, making the red haired friend call out to him again, a grunt falling from his lips as Kirishima questioned him again. “Sooo…[ ] ? what about her?”Bakugou responded with an uncommonly quiet tone “She probably would, but not with me..” Kirishima stopped and tried to figure out why his usually confident friend was so self conscious “Why do you say that? She'd probably love to go with you!’ With a deeper sigh Bakugou continued , “Yeah She’d love to go to that shitty thing , but it's stupid.” Kirishima couldn't help but laugh at his friend's conflicted feelings. “Bakugou, ask her and tell me what she say and we'll see you guys tonight okay?” Kirishima sia dand before his explosive friend could argue anything with him he hung up, prepared to deal with the aftermath of his best friend.

[ ] hearing her phone ring from her bedroom , running from her bathroom up the stairs to the room,she saw the iconic “angry pomeranian” lighting up her screen. With a laugh she picked up the phone. “Well hello Katsuki, how are you today?” A grunt on the other line made her laugh harder as the blonde finally spoke. “What are you doing later?” He gruffed out as [. ] stopped, biting her lip as she thought about the context of his question. “Hmmmm nothing, I’m probably gonna cook later and just hang out with Mina. Why? Aww Katsuki are you finally going to admit you like me?” With a crash coming from the other line she heard Bakugou yell. “OW. HEY DUMBASS I DONT LIKE YOU WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE” with a howling laugh she calmed down and waited for the reason the angry blonde called her in the first place. “Sigh..well since you’re not doing shit, coming with me to this shitty masquerade party” [. ] squealed out as she hopped off her bed as he told her the details and who’s masquerade it was. “YOU of all people got an invite to Midnights’ Masquerade? Count me in! I’ll be your date!” With a sigh Bakugou agreed to pick her up at 8:00. As they hung up [. ] couldn’t help help the giddy feeling pooling up in her stomach as she got dressed quickly, heading to the store for her outfit for the night.

Promptly at 8:00 , Bakugou pulled up to her house, sighing as he looked at himself. All black everything, he hated the suit jacket Kirishima kept trying to give him so he decided to go with a vest and opt in a black button up instead of the white one the shop had. Looking down as he scrolled through his phone he heard a door shut as heels clicked down the driveway of the rather pretty house he was in front of. Looking up from his phone he saw one of the prettiest sights he’d even seen. Sure he’s seen his fair share of women of all types and ways of life but something clicked seeing [. ] come from her door. A long black low cutting dress framed her body as long curls fell down her back. She ran to his car and got in, dramatically falling against the seat. “Who knee dressing up took work” she said as she looked at the usually angry blonde beside her, that unusually head a unreadable face. “What?” [. ] said as Bakugou snapped out of his trance, grumbling as he stepped on the gas, headed to the mysterious mansion on the invite.

“Look at you mamas!” Mina called out to [. ] as she hugged her, the two laughing together as they took in their appearances. “Look at YOU, even with the mask on your adorable Mina! Where are the other girls at?” [. ] laughed as the pink girl took her hand. “The others are inside. We can let the brutes talk to eachother.” She said as she gestures to Kirishima and Bakugou, walking into the mansion. “This place is huge..it’s nice though” Kirishima started as he looked to Bakugou who was paying him no attention, watching the duo of girls walk into the main doors, vermilion eyes staring at the girl he came with. “ Yknow if you want you could catch up to her?” Kirishima suggested as the blonde let out a gruff. “Shut up. Let’s get this shitty night over with.” Bakugou said as Kirishima laughed, running to join his bestfriend. Throughout the night Bakugou joined his friends, the group of them talking about work, and watching their significant others wander and dance around the hall. While the others drained on about their life , Bakugou couldn’t help his rage boiling over as he watched [. ] roll her hips onto Mina , the two laughing and enjoying the night.

As he watched Mina go for a different girl to hit on, he saw a mystery man walk up and put his hands where minas were, letting her continue her actions. With pops of explosions coming from his hand he stomped to the girl, snatching her away from the guy as he took her to a nearby room, shutting and locking the door behind them. “Uh is there something wrong here Katsuki?” [. ] said with a slight slur as the older and towering blonde stepped to her.

“What the hell was that!? You let that extra put his dirty hands all over you, you’re here with me no one can touch you but me” He growled out as [. ] scoffed, stepping right back to him. “Like you care now Katsuki , I was with Mina not some random” She said as she tried to get past him. Grabbing her arm , Bakugou turned her back to him as he put her onto the bed in front of them. “Oh no sweetheart, there was a nobody touching you, and it seems you want me to let everyone know how much I actually care about you.” He started as she looked at him confused. “I’ve liked you since last year you dumbass..and now here we are with me admitting this stupid shit with you under me” Bakugou said as [. ] blinked , a slow grin coming to her lips. Unknowing to him , the incident he witnessed was planned out by her devious friend herself. Mina let it be known that she , Kirishima and everyone knew the hidden feelings he had for her, and giving him a little show should spark him and his feelings to be admitted. And they were right.

“Oh Suki..I’m glad you’re finally admitting it. Now shut up and make me yours”

And with that fateful sentence, Bakugou pinned her arms to the bed, kissing her lips quickly as she let out a gasp , wrapping her arms around his neck, pulling him closer to her. Deepening the kiss, Bakugou crawled over her, picking her legs up and wrapping them around his waist. Pulling away Bakugou smirked , pulling the dress up and off of her revealing the orange and black lingerie underneath. “Well damn baby, seems you wrapped my gift up already..you planned this shit didn’t you?” Bakugou snarled as [. ] bit her lip and giggled, opening her legs wider. “Why don’t you unwrap it” she said , revealing that the underwear had an opening through the crouch, revealing her glistening and puffy lips to the hot head. “Fuck…” Bakugou whispered as he pushed her legs up and opened. “Can I have a taste babygirl?” He said as his voice dropped octaves , causing a shiver to go down [. ]’s spine. Well that’s my mom’s and mines opinion and basically:

It’s very normal for people to have doorbells in an apartment that is more that one floor.

Well for me it’s very normal and common seeing so many doorbells in a house bc I live in Europe too. In Europe a house that has more than one floor is called a maisonette. My grandparents have a house with 3 floors with an inside staircase and every floor has a doorbell so don’t overthink it guys, it’s just a House in Europe style. Ngl I too find it a little weird but this is how it is.

Also another thing is that the light switch looks soooo old just look at it!

Definitely not a modern style which means that this house is very old. My theory is that before Marinette and her parents lived here, I believe that Tom’s parents lived here also! They just renovated the house that’s why it doesn’t look old. And the thing that they live in front of a monument? The Notre-Dame? It just proves it more bc to find a house in Paris that is next to a monument and live there, it costs a HUUUGE amount of money. So that means that the Dupain-Cheng’s live A LOT of years there to have this house.

James Ironwood, for character ask? 👀

My fav ship(s) for the character

I am not a super big shipper when it comes to James, but there are still some I like more than others soo here goes :

I think Ironwitch is a pretty good one. It's not necessarily a ship I'd search content for but I think these two would work well together ! Glynda is stern and honest and a no-nonsense kind of woman. She has the strenght to stand up to James when he slips or gets too stubborn when faced with the high stakes. At the same time, we've been shown that she cares for him and she knows he's only trying to do what's best for people. She has faith in him but also the ability to stand at his side as an equal. She seems to be the more steadfast of Ozpin's circle : loyal, you know you can trust her, and she will not crumble. This is the kind of personnality that I think James both admire and feel safe with. And the other way around, I think James is a good match for Glynda too. On a day to day basis, he's serious enough to not annoy here, but he's also a softie in some aspects and that's a nice combination to smooth out Glynda's edges.

Ironqrow is a completely different dynamic. The "we're annoying each other" dynamic is not one I'm particularly interested in usually xD But these two certainly had strong & interesting moments so it's a pretty valid ship !! Despite how they might butt heads because of the difference in their upbringing they (prior to V8) clearly trusted each other with their life. Even if Qrow jokes about shooting himself if he had to be one of James' man, when everything goes to shit there is no doubt in his mind that James wasn't responsible. Similarly, while James talks of shooting Qrow for his misbehaviour, when push comes to shove and we meet a tired Ironwood, run ragged by the pressure he's under... the only thing he does is hug him and reiterates how glad he is to see him. So again, they clearly have a lot of faith and trust in the other, and that's solid ground for a relationship.

My least favorite ship(s) for the character

Same spiel as always, shipping kids and adults is a big no from me; so any ships between Ironwood and RWBYJNOR can qualify here. That said, among the less uncomfortable ones, here are those I don't really like

This one is again because I love their relationship but platonically only, I'm talking of Winter Soldier. The reading I like best is not that Ironwood is Winter's Jacques 2.0, nor that he groomed her; but that he was an important father figure in her life. Protective and caring, who tried to help her escape with what he knew. I don't see James recruiting Winter as a way to gain a strong ally. But rather that Winter wanted to detach herself from her family name, and make something worthwhile of herself all on her own. And that the military is what Ironwood knows and understand, so naturally it's a career he'd see as a good path. Just like Winter then proposed it to Weiss. I like to think they care about each other a LOT and they're their own tight family in between the lines, even if professionalism might throw a wrench into it. For short I love them together but not romantically please =)

I don't know if there's a ship name for this, but Salem x James Ironwood would be a big nope from me too... In general, let's just assume I ship Salem with nobody because abuse.

My fav & least fav platonic relationship(s) for the character

Fav platonic relationship would be (have been because we dont talk about V8?) with Winter. Fooor the reasons I've explained above I suppose x) I (again) love the trust they had in one another and the quiet support.

There was also his relationship with Oscar that I really liked during V7, although it has been soured a bit by the (valid) reading from some people that Ironwood sought out Ozpin a lot through Oscar, and given his identity issues it is not ground for a greatly healthy relationship. Their interactions were still very intersting though ♡ I consider Oscar to be the kid who went at trying to appease James' fear or make him reconsider his decisions the best way. There was true understanding and hope for a working relationship here. I do feel that Oscar put in more work than James however (emotionally) and I wish there had been pay-back instead of a gunshot.

For my least fav relationship ? Probably Robyn or Watts ? Robyn was always very antagonistic toward Ironwood since their priorities are so different. And I overall just don't really like her after V7 so there are very few relationships with her I'm interested in (the exception is her ship with Fiona I think it's cute). Meanwhile, Watts is just a petty asshole hell bent on ruining Ironwood because he didn't pick his project. I'm not very interested in hate relationships, and since theirs wasn't deeply explored anyway, it's even more the case here. Their fight was great though, one of my favorite RWBY fights !

My favorite thing about the character

Well this was completely proven wrong by V8 buuut as of V7 I liked that he was a deconstruction of the military general (dictator) trope. Sooo you can guess how i feel about V8 X) In general among RWBY, several of my fav are fav BECAUSE they look like one trope but also have key differences that from the get go make the character stray away from said trope. For example I'm not a fan of the princess tsundere archetype at all, but I loooved Weiss in V1 BECAUSE she was extra-willing to listen and change her mind, and you could very easily tell that it was her upbringing speaking more than herself in most occasions.

Similarly, I wasn't a big fan of Ironwood before V7. I didn't hate him you know and he wasn't lower than most characters in my Tier list but I also didn't particularly care. But you know what ? I've aaaalways had a really soft spot for the "angsty angry traumatized teen". And RWBY made the mistake of extending that soft spot to "tired adults trying their best" (only to repeatedly beat them up/make them villains after making me care about them but what can you do uh)

Soo in general, I loved that Ironwood was trying so hard. I loved that he was tired and in over his head but learning and listening and trying to do good and be better despite his fears. I liked that he told his entourage about Salem and was loyal. I liked that he cared about helping the people above his own image and the way people perceived him. I liked that you could tell this was a terrible situation all around, and his decisions WERE questionnable but we could SEE that he meant WELL and was genuinely trying so hard despite how scared and tired he was.

My biggest criticism for the character

Well this won't be a surprise but in general I just wished he had stayed a morally grey character we were allowed to feel for instead of a cartoon black villain. I didn't need James to be THE Hero or anything like this despite some accusations levelled at those who like him. Him becoming one of RWBY's antagonist is honestly fine by me ! It is interesting. But I'd have preferred they kept him ambiguous and trying in his own way. (And smart because V8 Ironwood was dumb af)

I can be a tad overprotective of his character since he's just... so despised, so I think that I have inadvertently distanced myself from any of his flaws... somehow like "people are already yelling all of them so I don't need to add to this shit show" you know ? skjfkd But I KNOW he has them and it would still have been good to develop his flaws, just... not like that

But yea I'd have liked it if V8 Ironwood DID diverge from RWBYJNORQ and became an antagonist but not an iredeemable villain. LIKE,, we redeemed Hazel and Emerald and IRONWOOD is where the writers draw the line by saying "nope this one is rotten" ?? What ?

When was their writing at the peak according to me (ex : best season)

V7 definitely ! Ironwood carried V7 so hard haha. His character was fleshed out and given nuance and made to struggle and evolve and I loved him in that volume.

A headcanon to make up about them

His metal parts impact his metabolism so Ironwood is terrible at holding his alcohool and very little manages to knock him out. He's a workaholic. His low tolerence for alcohool is a great tool whn friends need to put him to sleep.

His joints crack and hurt in the cold, his metal parts as well and they are an hassle in the sand. James like to keep his room temperature warmer than the average atlasian because of this, otherwise he has to spend 30 min every morning simply unwiding muscles to move around efficiently.

He's not a good singer but has a nice low voice for telling stories. If he had kids, he'd probably avoid lullabies but compensate with bedtimes stories.

What I would change about them if I was making a re-write

As always, I'm kind of reflecting along the way as I write this, and one thing I'm thinking right now is... Doesn't it take away from the atlas arc message ITSELF to just pile up so many "standard bad guy" stuff on Ironwood ? Like, I wanna ask... why do we hate him ? Is he an antagonist because he lets fear get the best of him ? Because he's a classist who doesn't care about Mantle like some fans argue ? Because he's too stubborn and wants to be THE hero ? Because he doesn't listen to others ? Because he abandonned Mantle ? Because he kills peopke left and right ? Because he wanted to bomb a city ? I think you might see where I'm going with this : his status as villain is kind of messy. V8 just kept piling-up flaws and villainous actions onto Ironwood with no concern for whether this was a lenght he would go to (using the certainty that he would go to any lenghts to enact his plans), ,or whether these were one of the initial flaws/failings that led to his "fall" as an antagonist. What lesson is Ironwood supposed to learn ? Personally the very first time I yelled at my screen "No ! Why would the writers choose that ?" is when Ironwood shot Oscar. When answering criticism against medias, many people tend to look at it only through the lense of "well it makes sense in universe" or as if there were no other ways for the story to devolve. But at the end of the way, everything in a story is a choice from the writer even if it is influenced by the characters' personnalities. If I took the scene where Ironwood shoots Oscar, someone might tell me "he's crippled by his PTSD, he COULD do this." Maybe, that's a reading I can somewhat understand at least. But the writers have the power to NOT put his character in such a position. When I saw the wreck that was V7 finale, I ranted to my bestfriend about it and at no point did i say "why did Ironwood do that", I said "why did the writers make him shoot Oscar, the only point narratively would be to make irredeemable" Aaaand that's what they went for and I obviously didn't care for it. So if I had to rewrite it; I would have kept Ironwood's "mistakes" more focused. If he's wrong because he wants to abandon Mantle, because he's (understandably) scared and doesn't want to take risks; then stay focused on that. It's what makes RWBY leave, and out of all his V8 actions that's really the only thing RWBY needed to tell the whole world he wasn't an ally anymore apparently. - Don't make him shoot Oscar point blank, instead Oscar can simply fall because he flinches away from Ironwood's outburst; and a distraught/guilty Ironwood can decide that he doesn't have the time or capacity to help because of the tense situation. (Killing and not saving someone don't hold the same moral weight at all). - Don't make him kill people left and right or bomb cities, maintain the flaw of Ironwood struggling with his PTSD and his fear and not being able to take risks. - Don't paint him as a black villain, and eventually write V8 in such a way that RWBYJNORQ show taking risks might lead to a bigger victory, which was the volume's theme anyway. For example, following Oscar's destruction of the whale, a growth can occur that would bring back together the two anti-Salem factions : Oscar's risk put Atlas out of harm's way, which leads to Ironwood seeing that maybe there WAS a way to save Mantle as well as Atlas despite Salem's presence and he might have jumped the gun too quickly because of his fears. I'm not sure, I haven't thought about this extensively honestly but I hope you see what I mean. I think it would have been more focused & more in-character to focus Ironwood's failings on his fear; and the fact that he cares for the people and the greater good sometimes at the cost of the individuals. The idea that by sacrificing individuals too much you forget the people you're fighting for in the first place, could have been interesting to dig deeper into. Keep to the idea that Ironwood is somewhat disensitized to the individuals suffering for the sake of the greater good, instead of making him just

callous & uncaring.

My guess for their MBTI/Enneagram

I think pre-V8 Ironwood was an unconventionnal ENFJ. Aka, the type of character no one would type ENFJ because they go by stereotypes and Fe stereotypes are just enneagram 2 everywhere (aka nice, kind, helpful) whereas Ironwood has an enneagram tritype very common among xxTJs so that's what he looks/behaves like, but the way he thinks (what's best for the people, ethical values derived from an Atlasian upbringing) align more with Fe cognitively I think I'm going with ENFJ 6w5 1w2 3w4

Starting from V8 though, Ironwood veered clearly into ENTJ territory (types aren't supposed to change but I wouldn't say RWBY is the most consistent media when it comes to characters' personnalities)

One aspect that I think would be nice to delve deeper into ?

I understand why they didn't care to, but it'd have been interesting to get a few backstory hints for Ironwood. How did he lose half his body ? How did Oz recruit him ? Or some pieces about his upbringing ?

Here's Part one of pirate sero x princess! Reader

Synopsis: A time where elves, fairies, dragons, and other wonderful creatures live in harmony, how would you choose to live? On a pirate ship? Making potions? Who do you stumble upon along the journey? A soldier, a poet, a king? Well, that’s for you to decide.

 a/n: I just couldn't resist! I had so much fun writing for the first one that I wanted to do this second one straight away! Requests are open so please don't be shy to leave anything in my ask box! Hope this makes you smile anon and whoever else is reading.

 "can she join us-"

 "no."

 Everyone groaned. Mina hugged you from behind, resting her chin on your shoulder. "oh come on captain~ she's a catch. She knows how to fight and gets along with us fine!" she whined, bakugo just shook his head at that, going back to examining the gold things in the king's room.

 The battle was over and the pirates had won and they were out scavenging for the riches the castle had locked up. Bakugo didn't have a choice but to let you fight with them since he knew it would be bad if he had to deal with you too but there was no way he'll allow you to be a member of his crew. He was just looking out for them.

 "no."

 "bakubro," kiri started, only to get glared at by the very same boy because of the nickname. "this is the first I've seen sero blush and laugh like this. I swear I don't think we could let her go anymore unless you want sero to mop around for weeks."

 Sero blushed at this. Was It that obvious? Was he wearing his heart on his sleeve? He blushed, scratching the back of his neck. He couldn't even keep eye contact. You redden and looked away too.

 Finally, bakugo sighed before stashing some gold coins into one of his pouches. "alright, alright. She could stay. Just keep her in line sero. I'm warning you." bakugo said, glaring at the black-haired boy. He smiled gratefully at his captain before taking your hand in his and squeezing it. Everyone else started squealing in delight.

 "oi, we’re not done, start filling your pockets dumbasses."

 "yes, sir!" everyone yelled out in unison before skipping off to look for some treasure.

 Sero walked up from behind you, whispering in your ear. His words make you shiver in embarrassment.

 "Welcome to the crew, princess~"

  "(y/n) is sleeping in my room!" mina yelled out when you got on the ship. You can hear the grumbles from the boys who were climbing up the ladder. The pink-skinned girl took your hand and pulled you into the small ladder down the belly of the ship, leading you into a tight corridor lined with rooms, all with names etched on each door.

 Mina swung open her door and showed her around. Her room was filled with colorful seashells strung on twine. "it's so pretty~" you complimented, your fingers grazing the different textures of the shells.

 Mina jumped into her bed then sat cross-legged on it. She was staring at you with a smirk. She was a person who seemed to know how to draw out secrets. You looked back at her, her expression making you jump. Mina took your hand and pulled you down onto the bed next to her. "so, tell me, what do you like about sero?" she interrogated, wiggling her eyebrows at you. you didn't have a reason why you liked him, You met them earlier today so you can't say. but sero just… gave off this soothing aura with you. He was also very headstrong and was willing to kill people for the people he loves.  He talked you out of killing him after all.

 "he just gave off a soft aura," you muttered to her. Mina squealed at your response. Why did he have that impression of you, That you were worth fighting for? You continued talking about all sorts of things with the girl before she fell asleep mid-conversation.

 But you felt restless.

  You snuck out of mina's room, went up the ladder and landed back on the deck. The ship was rocking back and forth softly, rocking everyone to sleep. The night air hit your skin and made you shiver. The stars shone above you and you walked up the wooden barrier so you could look up at it.

 "what are you doing here?" asked a familiar voice.

 You looked back to see sero, his face was pink from the cold. He stood by you then looked up at the stars with you. "what are you doing here? It's late…" he asked, looking over at your shaking figure. He scooted closer to you, taking your shaking fingers in his. He brought your hand to his lips and started blowing on them, his hot breath not just warming your hands, but warming your heart too.

 "I just couldn't sleep." you said, looking at the sea instead but you didn't dare pull your hands away. He chuckled at you, putting your hands back down on the banister. You glanced at him. He was blushing in a deeper shade of red. You smiled at him, stepping closer, allowing him to slowly wrap his arms around you.

 "Can I stay with you for awhile princess?"

"please… be my guest."

 You sat down on the deck and stayed there, talking about anything and everything until the sun rose.

 This was fairly short because I had no idea what else to add-since this is just the beginning of their relationship and I don't see them kissing and stuff, just blushing and small touches. I might go back on this idea soon if you want more anon, keep asking! Requests are open for different characters too, so please don't be shy~ love you guys ♥️💕💖
