I notice Earth suns tend to have a very bullying type of humor. Very harsh dry humor that’s borderline offensive is their style. Sometimes it’s hard to know if they’re joking or serious especially Capricorn’s 😭

Aries men are surprisingly not as hot headed as people would expect. It actually takes a lot before they really yell at you. Usually only if u insult something they’re passionate in. The women are a lot more hot headed & easily set off imo

Mercury Rx people usually struggle with speech or reading problems. I notice it can result in having a stutter or a lisp, dyslexia or just very bad social anxiety. In extreme cases I’ve seen selective mutism. I also notice they have a very intense relationship with books & reading, it’s either they absolutely love reading or it’s really challenging for them in some way. A lot started off in their earlier years finding reading challenging then ended up loving reading as they grew. It’s like a mental exercise for them.

Saturn RX people always make bad choices lol. They always choose the path that will lead to the most hardship just for the fun of it or the excitement (which it’s normally not fun for too long) they usually grew up having a hard time with authority. Could of had very authoritative parents that were too hard on them which caused them to rebel. In this lifetime they are here to learn the value of HARD-work because in past lives these people were usually really irresponsible & put fun and pleasure over building their futures. These people will face so much disappointment until they surrender their rebel lifestyle. Deep down they do want to mature & be better but many believe they aren’t good enough. Once they reach this maturity however their life will do a 360.

But now?

Maybe dying isn’t so horrible after all.

“Smile!" || Blade x G/N Child! Reader (PLATONIC) - Honkai: Star Rail

A/N: This is my first post, so if it's bad in any way; please tell me and feel free to give me some helpful tips! The reader is 11 in this as well which explains the childish behavior. I was at first going to make them 12-14 tbh, but I wanted them to seem more child-like.

"Uh…How about this one!”

You were desperately trying to get Blade to laugh at your jokes, which were genuinely terrible, just to see him smile, but it was to no avail as Blade only sat there with his face as flat as a board.

“Knock, Knock!” You began with a grin, leaning closer as you swung your legs back and forth in your seat.

“You said we were done with these ones…” Blade grumbled, his eye twitching at you.

“Just answer!”

Blade sighed before turning back to you tiredly, “Who’s there?” He answered exasperatedly.

“Interrupting ghost!”

“Interrupting ghost w—”

“BOO!” You suddenly cut him off with a playful grin, jumping on him, causing Blade to let out a startled grunt and swiftly catch you by your waist as you fell in his lap.

Blade's face was as still as a rock. It's like he was being held at a gunpoint to not smile at the joke you just told him, or even the other terrible ones.

"Are you done yet?" Blade asked in annoyance, his eyes percing into yours as he held the child's smaller figure in his grasp, your hands thrown over his neck.

But deep inside the swordsman, he loved all the child's foolish jokes, and he even saw them as his own little sibling. He'd just never admit it.

The 11 year old only groaned, frustrated with how he'd never laugh or even crack one, little smile at their jokes.

"Come on! Just give me one smile, Bladie!" You whined, tugging at his cheeks to widen his lips so it can look he's smiling, yet it just fell straight back into a frown, "Why are you so hard to crack?!"

"Because showing any emotions, similar to happiness, is weakness, Y/N." Blade answered simply, his voice deep and raspy as he lifted you off his lap with his eyes still stuck to yours blankly, "You'll understand that once you grow older."

Blade was a man of duty. Duty to his life, his work, his role, and many others. Showing emotions was a sign of weakness to him; an admission of defeat. But deep down, he felt things. Much of it. He just didn't allow himself to do so. So when you made him crack a smile with your silly jokes, he got frustrated at himself. For breaking his code, even just once.

"Uh-huh…Whatever you say, Edge-Lord…" You mumbled, your face forming into a deadpan as you turned to the side.

Your words however earned you a smack across the head from Blade, causing you yelp in surprise.

“I WAS JOKING!”

“Find better humor then.”

You only grumbled to yourself, slumping against the dark sofa you were sitting on before a smirk crossed your face, "Wait, so does that mean Kafka's weak? She always laughs at my jokes!" You retort with a cocky grin.

Blade's cold words earned a huff from you, offended by how harsh he had said it.

You and Blade had a somewhat sibling-like relationship which Kafka and Silverwolf relentlessly teased Blade about, yet he refused to admit he saw you as anything near a sibling or family member in that matter.

“Hmph! Fine! Don’t expect me to talk to you for the whole day then!” You pouted, pretending to be mad at him so he can finally give in and smile at you.

Yet all you got in response was silence as he continued to sit there, his arms folded and staring straight ahead with his eyes closed.

But, he was slightly amused with your words since he knew you can’t go one second without following him around like the curious and naive child you are, usually holding onto his bandaged hand half the time.

You stared in-front of you for awhile in silence before your eyes slowly began to droop tiredly and you turned back to Blade.

"Blade?" You called quietly after a moment of silence, earning a lazy "Hm?" in response, "Can I…Sleep in your lap…?” You trailed off, feeling ashamed for giving in so easily and acknowledging him even after you said you wouldn’t, “Please?”

It wasn’t really a surprise you were so tired…You did just come back from a mission with Kafka, you didn’t do much since your role in missions is just to be the lookout due to your young age. You were slightly tired when you came back of course, and it seems like the exhaustion finally kicked in.

If this were any other person, Blade would've flatly said no, but this was you...Blade didn't understand why, but he could never say no to you.

Blade then arched a brow at your words, red eyes opening, and he held back the teasing smirk that threatened to creep upon his lips, “Didn’t you say you wouldn’t speak to me for the whole day?”

“Oh shut up!” You glared, pulling your knees up to your chest with a frown that looked more like a pout, “So can I sleep in your lap or what?” You continued quietly, turning away and pressing your cheek against your kneecaps in embarrassment with your words.

The older man was quiet for a while. He didn't like being affectionate, he didn't like being kind either. He just didn't like to give in. But to you? He would always make an exception.

So slowly, he lifted the child up and plopped them in his lap, holding their surprised figure close. There were no words spoken, but deep inside, Blade felt something. Maybe it was affection. Maybe it was a little bit of love. Perhaps it was admiration or fondness!

But he was never able to figure out what it exactly was.

Your eyes slightly widened in shock at the fact the so-called “cold and heartless” Blade was carrying you in his arms as if you were his child before a grin spread across your face and you nuzzled into his chest and pulled your legs closer for warmth.

You felt two arms wrap around you to keep you warm and another held your head closer to their chest, yet you didn’t need to open your eyes to see who it exactly was since you already knew.

Silence filled the air for awhile as you laid in his arms before you finally broke it.

This is VERY specific but I do think this fits really well during the second selection when Nagi chooses to go with Isagi and leaves Reo. Nagi actually stops being the lazy-genius he had been until episode 10 of the anime which has the match between Team V and Team Z where has an awakening (hence the "getting color back into his face" lyric) and he is gaining a passion for football which he never thought someone like him could even have. In Episode Nagi, even Reo acknowledges that the one who made Nagi put in actual efforts in a football match (which he had never done before) was Isagi and not him. Isagi was the reason of Nagi's awakening. And Reo was so sad that he was not the reason.

And right after his awakening, he decides to leave Reo because now he actually wants to improve and has a goal: To beat Isagi. And for that he has to leave Reo. So...yeah.

Okay again this one is also very specific just like Nagi's but i think this song completely represents Rin's relationship with his brother, Sae. Beating Sae is the only reason we have been given for whatever he does.

When we first see Rin at the start of the second selection, one of the first things he says is how he has to beat his brother and that's basically the bane of his existence.

And in between the confrontation between the brothers when Sae comes home from Spain and thenU20 VS Blue Lock Eleven match; a year has passed and Rin's feeling fir his brother is EXACTLY the same. (Hence the second para)

Also we can notice this during the Itoshi brothers' flashback, Sae had always been the way he is at this point since childhood. But Rin was different, he was a happy and naive kid. But that's gone now. Also how after the U20 VS the Blue Lock Eleven match when Sae comes to Rin, and Rin (and us, the audience) think that Sae is going to praise Rin who had just been in his berserk mode before; the expression change on Rin's face is so evident and heartbreaking. His expression is almost the same one he had when he was a little kid. So yeah, its very heartbreaking when Sae praises Isagi and not him when Rin has been craving for his validation for a longggg time.

Why does the Ashley-Leon age gap debate exist? Just say you don't like the pairing! That's totally your choice. In mine and many others opinions, we just don't see it that way. They feel like such great friends if ANYTHING. I doubt a 7 yr age gap, with starkly different lives have anything in common. Here we have a goody two shoes sorority girl who's also the president's daughter, probably had everything handed to her yet she still manages to be a sweetheart. I think they're more alike than people are lead to believe. Think of it, the day before Leon knew his first day of the job, he decided to drink in excess which left him hungover. I mean what else can you expect from a 21 year old? Pretty immature move to me. And you see that, in a way, he is still stuck in the past. Trauma is known to freeze you in the past, which explains his childish and awkward behavior now. Throughout re2r, he says this "I can do this." When he points his gun a couple times in R.P.D. It's adorable, it's naive, it's precious, he's obviously insecure and afraid, and didn't want this life. On Operation Javier, he gets distracted by a literal butterfly and Krauser saves him from a snake about to attack Leon. He seems to be a bit airheaded and in his own world at the least. In re4, it's clear he's transformed into an edgelord, which is entirely understandable based on his circumstances. He compares Ashley to something as comforting and secure as a mother figure, even as Leon's an orphan, he can still make out the feeling of security with Ashley. As they say, you seek out your parents in your partner. Your parents are your first relationship, which he couldn't really have. But you still have that primal instinct of what makes you feel at home. A familial bond is also there with your spouse and kids.

Ashley's overprotectiveness and judgements for things like jumping across chandeliers, is out of worry Leon will get hurt. Even as he's battling a psychotic mind controlling plague cult, she manages to be selfless, because she cares and even loves Leon. Leon notices she's careful, and makes that comment, "what are you, my mother?" I find it interesting that someone who doesn't have a bond with his family would say that. Just tells me he feels close to her.

You can see the side of Leon he truly is. He's not a mindless killing machine, he makes jokes, one-liners, cute things like "nighty night, knights." And "goddamn, I almost became a pancake." It's clear he uses childish humor to cope, but in his most serious moments, you understand that there is NO ROOM for weakness in his mission, no jokes, or whatnot, so sometimes his seriousness came out with the danger of the mission, and he was able to mature a little more since raccoon.

But he finds a way to connect with Ashley on so many levels that they begin to like each other, and deeply care for one another throughout the game.

I don't believe a cold and brooding asshole would be able to make Ashley that happy by the end of the game. Leon was sweet, protecting and selfless towards Ashley and so was she.

Well, regarding your question, I'll number the answers :B

Yes, it is likely that Nene hears about the rumors, if the girls in the current timeline did the ritual, then it means that the rumors about Tsukasa are still there, and, Nene is the person who will always be involved with the School rumors, the whole story started when she found out about Hanako-san's rumor, so she summoned Hanako. There is a possibility that she will discover and try to summon Tsukasa.

Tsukasa and Nene's bond is very important, a development between the two is happening, Tsukasa is showing his gentler and sweeter side to her. And well, Tsukasa had already shown some signs of interest in her previously, in a very subtle way. We still have a shadow on how Tsukasa feels about Nene, but everything Tsukasa does has meaning. He didn't kiss her for nothing.

I see this fallacy thrown around, that if Karlie is on board with everything, then they're happy and we must be happy for them. We don't know that. And there are relationship dynamics where one partner agrees with every shitty thing their partner does, because they don't feel like they have a voice in the matter and that's not really healthy. For years now, Taylor has kept this wand of hate above Karlie's head through her brainwashed fans. I work in the entertainment industry and I can tell you Karlie has been rejected by certain brands to not enrage Swifties, especially recently. I would say their dynamic is very unbalanced, where one partner has the power to turn so many against the other, acts on this power, and then never lifts a finger to correct it loud and clear. Karlie could just accept all this because she's too in love or knows how objecting to it, leads nowhere. She falls on her sword times and times again for Taylor, hoping one day Taylor would reciprocate the effort, but maybe knowing that's not gonna happen.

The thing is we don't know what their relationship is like behind the scenes and being in it for long isn't a sign of anything. There are people who stayed in toxic relationships for 30 years. It's childish and naive to automatically assume they're happy. Actually most of her songs depict unhappiness, toxic back and forths, over indulgence, self victimization, emotional abuse and isolation, triangulation, gaslighting manipulation, borderline switch ups, narcissistic collapse. This is something Chris is not understanding and acting naive to because of his privileges. He is just focusing more on the fact he wants to be with her vs the concerns she has. "If we're happy then who cares what other people think?"

Strong Girl Nam Soon is falling into that sweet spot for me between being good and entertaining enough to make me invested in it and having sufficient flaws to make me deeply frustrated.

So obviously I'm going to analyse it way more than it deserves!

I think

The characterisation (or lack of it) of Nam Soon herself. Quite a lot to delve into here. She started off with a really intriguing origin and character with lots of directions in which she could go in... and she just hasn't developed at all really. She starts up very idealistic and naive which is understandable considering her upbringing. She acts charming in a childish way. She is rash and thoughtless but fundamentally good-hearted and on the side of the underdog and uses her powers for good. All of these are qualities that make sense in who she is but she is very immature. The show keeps these qualities but instead of interrogating them and allowing her to mature realistically while suffering inevitable set-backs and challenges to her idealism, she keeps all of this, is somehow incredibly attractive to both the hero and villain (despite her child-like tone and mannerisms - I genuinely find this so odd) and adds being a super spy to her list of accomplishments. (Surely being a good spy is literally the opposite set of skills to being good at brute force and not thinking before you act?) Dare I say it... she's a Mary Sue! Which leads onto the second issue with Nam Soon which is she is both over-powered and not given enough to do with her powers. The first few episodes showed her frequently using her super strength and it was very cool and superhero-like and fitted the apparent theme (and name) of the show. But she's rarely used them in the latter half of the show. Meanwhile she also has super speed, super vision and I'm sure something I'm forgetting. If she's got these skills, she needs to use them frequently and to advance the plot or it feels quite pointless. Instead, we see her playing the role of a spy which feels totally OOC. How is she so good at lying all of a sudden? It doesn't fit at all with the character we were introduced to in the first couple of episodes. Someone who just builds a ger in the middle of a public park and beats up everyone who tries to stop her without any thought for consequences is... not going to be good at a danger-filled spy mission in a high security mafia joint. Right???? It's hard to care too much about Nam Soon because there seem to be no consequences to her actions, she doesn't seem to respond realistically to what happens around her based on her own established character, and she doesn't seem to have developed from the beginning to close to the end of the drama.

Second issue is the way the romance(s) are being played. Look, I'm happy for the grandma and all and I think it's lovely she's getting a romance with sweeping soundtrack and dramatic moments but it is a bit odd that this is the relationship that is getting the most attention in the show. Nam Soon and Hee Sik are adorable and I can get behind a cute relationship without ridiculous manufactured impediments but very little attention is given to it and just as Nam Soon's character is very static, so is the relationship. There are no issues between the pair of them (and there easily should be) and their relationship doesn't seem to impact the other at all and make them grow individually as well as together, which a really good fictional relationship should do. It's cute - and that's it. As for Ryu Si-o, hmm, another puzzle. I'm usually behind villain romances and redemption arcs (I'm a Reylo shipper, for goodness sake) but I'm struggling to see it here. Mainly because Nam Soon acts so childish, I feel a bit icky shipping her in a relationship that is so adult coded. I know she's an adult (I'm not some weird purity shipper who can't deal with a bit of an age gap) but the way the actress plays the character makes her come across as so immature that I just can't read it romantically. And she has no interest in him. Nothing he says seems to sway her or interest her. She's a good little foot soldier and nothing else. Which is very boring, but that's the characterisation... Frustating. And don't get me started on the bizarre way Nam Soon's family is gunning for this "you have consummate this relationship and have strong girls when you're 22". Any normal person would be running for the hills! Why is this not creepy and an issue? Very bizarre.

The way the characters are forced to be unbelievably stupid to make the plot work. Like, it seems TOTALLY unbelieavable that Nam Soon has not been caught. She's really unconvincing as a spy - why is nobody running better background checks on her? How has Si-o not found Nam Soon before? Like, with his resources, it can't be hard! Why is nobody suspicious? Why did the police department let their supervisor lick a known deadly drug then believe him when he said he was okay and not take him to hospital etc.? Absolutely clown behaviour. Why does Geum Joo take the trouble of putting bodyguards around her family because they are all in danger but her closest confidante doesn't come into work on a very important day and won't answer the phone, just texts to say "she's ill" and Geum Joo is like "Sure, that sounds legit"? Why did nobody communicate about Nam In and the symptoms of the drug? The whole Nam In plot altogether... Why are the men in the family not just "not strong" but completely emasculated and massive losers? We're apparently dealing with wealthy and successful people but they're all behaving like complete incompetents! Which would be funny if the show had retained the comic tone it started with but it's got quite dark and so it's tonally off.

Okay. Enough whinging. Under the cut, I'm going to give some suggestions for how I would rewrite aspects of the show to try to make it less frustrating. (I'm so close to writing fanfic but I know I won't haha.)

First, the things I'd definitely keep:

The grandma's entire plot

Geum Joo being a total badass

Nam Soon's initial characterisation (and her plaits)

Cute romance with Hee Sik

Si-o's characterisation and tragic backstory

The drug plot - I don't mind it at all

In other words, I'd keep the show telling the same story but I'd alter the characterisation.

Nam Soon would have a lot more inner conflict, which she can have without losing a fundamentally optimistic outlook. She finds it very hard to living in Korea. Her homeless friends play a much bigger role and she dedicates herself to trying to make social changes to make society more egalitarian and is continually frustrated by her inability to make progress within the system. It leads to clashes with her mother after an initial honeymoon phase of being reunited who cannot understand why she can't just throw money at individuals and consider it done and why Nam Soon even grows to resent her own family's wealth. It also leads to clashes with Hee Sik, whose role as a police officer means he is upholding the very social order she finds so unfair. On the other hand, it drives her towards Ryu Si-o who she discovers knows more than anyone else in her life about destitution and who is willing to operate outside the law to effect change.

I also think it would be very interesting to have Si-o discover very early on who Tsetseg is. She is a terrible liar and not sneaky at all so he realises first that she is planted as a spy but she is so obviously terrible at it that he is more amused than angry and then he digs around and realises she is Nam Soon. He realises all this before/as he develops feelings for her. He decides to keep her around to keep the enemy close but quickly finds her straight forward attitude which comes through despite her best intentions and frustrations with many of the things that frustrate him too compelling and he ends up getting distracted from his business with the drugs in order to do big bad mafia villain type things like funding soup kitchens. And of course, social justice warrior Nam Soon who is learning about class inequality and really trying to do something about it is shown to mature by her dropping her childlike tone and mannerisms over the course of the show.

Honestly, can this end up being a Hee Sik/Nam Soon romance when he has so little he can contribute to her development? I'm honestly not sure. It depends how far down the redemption path you're willing to take Si-o. And I don't know how the show will end but redemption by death is so boring...

More exploration of strength and how Nam Soon and Si-o parallel each other. Oh botheration, no matter how I try to look at it, they ought to have the most compelling dynamic for a ship! It's just Nam Soon's mannerisms that stop me shipping it. :( On paper, it's a no brainer! Maybe I'll just plan a superhero/villain original romance instead!

Anyway, I just wish this show made more sense and was more coherent because I do like it enough to be engaged and invested. And the ideas and initial characters were so cool. Geum Joo - what a bamf! A whole series about her but without her strange lack of attention to issues with people near her... or deal with it properly as a significant character flaw.

Dating Bokuto means appreciating the little things

He may not be there for most of the day but you'll always know he's missing you with every call and text during any free time he gets. Both of you have your own jobs so it might not be ideal for date planning, but you'll always make time for each other. Whether it's you getting off work early to see him practice with the Jackals or him bursting into your office to bring you lunch and a kiss for working so hard. You never lack any quality time together because you occupy each other's mind.

He also isn't the best at cooking, but you always appreciate it when he tries. You would often find yourself standing in the ruins of your once pristine kitchen, seasoning and stray pieces of cut vegetables laid across the floor all the way to the ceiling. The stove was off yet the smell of charcoal does not escape you and at the center of it all is your big owlish boyfriend, standing in the corner with a guilty look, fiddling with his thumbs and avoiding your gaze altogether. He knows you would be mad at the state of the kitchen, it shows in his posture. But you couldn't bring yourself to care about the mess, because sometimes after all the stress of work and the exhaustion of the mundane, it felt nice to know you're important enough to someone. So much so that they'd try something they aren't very good at if it means you feel loved and you do. You very much do. Walking up to him and softly calling his name, cooing at him to look at you. Bokuto raises his head slowly, only to find your gentle smile instead of exasperation.

"You're not mad?...." He asks carefully

"No..... Not today Bon" The tiredness of your voice gives him the impression that you're simply too tired to reprimand him. But that thought was reduced to a whisper at your next words.

"It's just.... Thanks for trying, I know you wanted to do something for me but just the thought is already enough" You continued with a smile, Bokuto could honestly cry right now. But he instead settles for one of his famous owl hugs, covering you in a blanket of warmth for your troubles.

Even if he can't cook, he will always try to make it easier for you. Going shopping for the ingredients, washing the vegetables, and even preparing the table. These are all things he does so all you have to do is make the food. Which compared to splitting cooking duty is the next best thing.

Your boyfriend is often called immature and you can't exactly refute it. He often rushes into things, at times he blurts out things without thinking, and he always had the energy most didn't. But you've been with him for long enough to know that it's not necessarily a bad thing, since after a while, you realize how happy you've been. Not just from all the moments you share together, but from simply being around him. You always regarded yourself as somewhat of a realist but also not exactly an optimist, always thinking that being optimistic is no different than being naive since you've never thought to find out for yourself if it was true.

But being with Bo has shown you that it's not about ignoring the bad, it's about seeing the good. Bad things might happen and you shouldn't ignore them, but instead look at the brighter side to find a solution. Being optimistic is more about trying to make a bad situation better, not to accept it. You see that now, all because your little big owl lover refuses to let you be put down by the hardships thrown at you. Whenever you're stressed or stuck, you notice how he tries to help. Even going as far as to ask his friends about things even he doesn't understand, Bo tries to find a solution when you just try to accept it. You may not be an optimist but you aren't going to be pessimist in this relationship anytime soon.

Bokuto isn't the type to be called 'traditionally reliable'. He's energetic and loud, often called childish and never seemed to garner the perception of reliable certain people expect. But to you, he's as reliable as he needs to be. He was always the first person to notice when you're down, always the first to do something about it. Whether it was asking what got you looking so down or inviting you to spend the day with him, he was always positive and was never afraid to share it with you. He was and still is your pillar of stability, knowing he always has your best interest in mind even if it didn't seem like it. Being childish is one thing, but it never meant he lacked the ability to be serious.

Though even if he is expected to be your unwavering pillar, his own weaknesses will always rear its head. There are times you would find him taking refuge under your kitchen table, seeming so quiet, so down, to the point where it worried you. Asking to join him under the table, seeing him scoot to the side to give you room, the silence only seems to raise your concerns. It takes a while before he extends an arm to you, beckoning you to come closer and you do. Savouring the moment of reprieve from the world outside together, you wonder what it is that's going through his head. It doesn't matter to you how long it takes for him to tell you, because for as long as you've been together, he always waited for you. So it's your turn to wait for him, to listen to his thoughts, to comfort him. He may be your pillar, but it's hard to forget that you're his too.

Dating Bokuto means appreciating the little things, but maybe it's more akin to appreciating the things he does for you.

um im having some thoughts/opinions about both characters in ylm which is;

i feel like it’s always the man who can neglect their partner bc of their ex (and i could care less if she was polite or not you’re an ex for a reason know your place. women are not stupid) and then proceeded to think they can be forgiven but the moment the woman turns around and does the same she’s desperate or wants attention? i mean if jk can’t prioritize his wife over his ex (again that’s so fucked up like they’re both in the wrong here. he doesn’t even have feelings for his ex bc even if he did he would’ve already left that’s what a man in love would do no?) then yeah he is no „man“ he is a boy who finds it cool to have the attention of two women and bruh i would never let a man walk over me like that. i feel like yeah at some point he has „love“ (lmao) for her but only to get his way which is cliché for every man’s mistakes so i don’t trust him at all. he has a responsibility and so does his ex yes it’s mainly jk‘s fault bc he is the one who’s married but you can’t tell me that his ex is „polite“ and never once thought „yknow what why does he stay so late when he has a wife isn’t this disrespectful he’s married etc etc“ also please even if he told her lies we‘re talking about a woman here we‘re not that stupid to place two and two together.

hmm i feel like she’s naive and not brave but i mean what can you expect from a person who gives their all and wants the outcome to be positive so bad by trying multiple times? been there done that. so i feel like she gets manipulated easily which means she is easy (sorry not sorry if jk came home to me and thought he could sleep next to me or with me after showing up late for the past two weeks girl i would’ve been at my moms house not coming back till him and his ex apologized to my face while my whole family would be in the room (would like to see the humiliation on both of their faces)) it’s like she’s too dependent on him. it’s also the little hints you gave us away with „i pretend that i don’t care about the public’s opinion but i do“ n what not so i feel like she was never truly happy or comfortable in their relationship to express her true feelings to her partner without fearing what they would say/do and that’s enough for me to know that he never truly made an effort it was always her. i also feel like age has nothing to do with their relationship i mean you can be very wise from a very young age doesn’t mean you have to be 30 for it because most of these grown ups like jk don’t even know what it takes to be a man he’s the childish one to be honest.

so general information that’s important: he’s between the ages of 19-23, i do not like giving my characters actual ages bc that’s way too much work anyway, he works in The Council, which is a government facility specifically made for killing demons/soul eaters, hes pretty far up in the council (they work in ranks and stuff), he is in a qpr with another of my characters called soren and they live together, also ray is very close to his family

Ray is such a fucked up guy and i love him for it, he’s sooo naive and childish and stupid and before the story even starts manages to fuck up so bad he gets his demon killing license revoked (that’s not something that happens often at all) but he tries his best!!!! the specific reason why he got his license revoked is not very fun (lots of death) so idk if i should get into it but i hope you don’t mind if i don’t specify

His story actually revolves around the disappearance of a ton of people which the higher ups are trying so hard to cover up, as they slowly uncover more and more information the government tries it hardest for them to stop and i soemthing i really want to do if i ever write this is at the start portray the council as something beautiful that’s out there to help other and slowly become this jail ray cant escape, it’s also really bad for him bc not even soren trusts him when he tells him something bad was happening :D!! i have so many notes on the structure of the council and how it works but i think i would take soooo long actually explaining everything, i actually call his story the main story of the demon world bc i have multiple stories within the same world and this one is were you learn the most about how everything works and it makes me so happy, feel free to ask me about anything :O!!

(or all of the above abdjhb) also!1 id like to know how the council works if u dont mind dbahjbad i really like how u r picturing the council, like id some kind of man made cosmic horror, if they are even human, are the council human?? how does the lisence thing works? do they have to go through some kind of training to get their licesnes or they just snatch sum people from the street that they think are capable of handling the work of killing demons?? are the demons involved in the desapearence of people??? and is it bc of fuck ups from part of the council, OH or are the COUNCIL involved in the dissapearence and thats why they are trying to encover it so hard, is soren a demon hunter under the council and that's why he doesn't believe ray???? aaa so sorry if these are a lot of questios khkbdjhbsjh ur world seems very very cool aa PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ONLY AWNSER THE ONES U LIKE THE MOST JKJBJH :'D

OG WIP: The Innsmouth Bride

   Early draft of a scene in which we see how far Emmett’s relationship has fallen with his mother after some time into his marriage to half-human, half-Deep One Nerida who he eventually has found genuine happiness with. 

"Are you not at least the slightest bit happy for me? Do you not feel comforted or fulfilled that your last child has found happiness in his life?" Her heart fills with pity for him. Never bothered to hide her condescending tone, Josephina looks upon her son's eagerly hopeful face and gently reaches out to stroke his cheek as her head shakes softly with a sigh. Immediately crushing Emmett internally.

 "Happiness? My delusional child, what happiness could God have ever wanted you to find in such hellish conditions your father has you shackled to? The only happiness you'll find in that abominable union you call a marriage is when you finally end that revolting creature as it lies in your bed. If I had my say in this house, I would never have handed you over to that devil bargaining family. They have no idea how much they've adulterated themselves, lying in Satan's bed with such befouling creatures. That thing you naively call a wife? It's just waiting for the moment you defile yourself with It and It has what It’s taken from you and soon enough you will find yourself strung into a ring of madness as It toys and twists Its Godforsaken claws into your skin for mere entertainment. Soon enough, you will find that only the deliverance of death could grant you peace… but by then, God will have no place for you in his heaven and you will be lost for eternity.” 

She provokes every word as if it’s the truth, spurring on a sickened, nauseating feeling in the pit of Emmett’s stomach as she continues, “Do you think I wanted this for you, my son? You would have been better off having died years ago when you were ill than where you observe yourself now, I think. Instead of holding on to such deceitful childish imaginings as the likes of happiness in such a binding. The world is a cruel joke, and I would have rather seen you lying cold and pale in a coffin than to see what you've done to yourself with that gruesome monster now." A thick silence befalls them as she reclaims breath in her body. Her son's gaze defeatedly casts itself downward to hide the shining of unspilled tears in his pale blue eyes, heart sinking in his chest and the air deflates from his lungs like a failed balloon. He pushes her hand away from his face, feeling the loss of warmth on his skin by her words that linger painfully as if she had struck him. 

"Why must you say such things, mother?" He whispers, voice small and pleading. Josephina only chuckles softly without humor. "Because my dear stupid boy, what you have is the greatest offense to mankind. To God. You are bound to hear it at some point so If not myself, then sooner or later someone else." Emmett brings his gaze up to meet hers. Unwavering in her posture, her son stands bitterly to his feet from the chair and reaches into his waistcoat to pull out an enclosed letter. Looking her once more in the eye, he blatantly hands it to her without a word. She cocks a brow of curiosity at him before reaching out to take the envelope, turning it over in her hands she sees it’s addressed in her name. Scrawled in gentle albeit messy cursive, as if the writer had mere moments to learn before their supposed deadline yet had wanted to put great care into a legible penmanship. She doesn't recognize the handwriting to belong to her estranged husband or son. Emmett watches her face pale in realization before her hands cautiously set the letter down and unopened upon the table beside her. Emmett sighs as he moves to grab his coat. "Goodbye mother."

 He's delivered what he came to her for, and he gives himself a moment to realize how unsurprised he should have been to hear his mother's remarks. "I pray that you eventually find your own way towards happiness. Wherever that may bring you." He turns and walks out of the large oak doors he came through, already making his peace at never seeing her again as her emotionless gaze lingers on him as he disappears down the hallway before turning to the letter.

All she can do is stare at it.

Character and story introduction!

I plan to turn my story into a comic, but currently it's in the plot and character development stage. I'd love to share my thought process and ideas with everyone who's interested.

Brief synopsis:

A trio of friends (and a music band), who previously had a year long falling out, reunited again after Martin, the one who caused the falling out, gets into a road accident.

Now living together, Martin, April and Micheal are determined to find out the cause for Martin's skin turning blue (and figure out their relationship along the way). Maybe it's connected to something...

But now it's time to talk about the characters themselves!

Martin:

Age: 19.

Man, he/him.

Previously an energetic boy, after a year Martin changed not only mentally, but physically, gaining a mysterious blue skin colour that he's very self-conscious about. Guilty for what he had done, he's unsure of himself but is genuinely happy that he's on good terms with the other two again.

Personality: constantly tired, which makes him seem uninterested or serious, even though it's not the case. In the past he had a typical "cool boy" personality and was pretty self-centred. It has changed tho. Too depressed and guilty for all that.

Member of the band called vesna (VesnA).

Instrument: bass and electric guitar, sometimes vocals.

April:

Age: 21.

Woman, she/her.

In a year April became more down to earth, still keeping her wild side, but for a close set of friends. Missed Martin and Micheal a lot. Also feels guilty, because she knows all of what happened happened because of her presence (even though she didn't do anything herself). Was, and still is a crush of both Martin and Micheal.

Personality: acts calm and collected, but has a wild side that she'll show you if you're close enough. Likes to care for people and be the voice of reason, even though she's not always qualified to do so.

Member of the band called vesna (VesnA).

Instrument: electric guitar, main vocals.

Micheal:

Age: 19.

Man, he/him, but is also okay with they/them.

Martin's childhood friend, was the one wronged by him which lead to the falling out. Micheal is the one who remained relatively the same, his cheerful and expressive self, only becoming really buff lol. Very happy to have his friends back and eagerly shows it.

Personality: generally positive and happy, expressive, can be clingy, seems naive and childish, but that's not the case. Not stupid/innocent either.

Member of the band called vesna (VesnA).

Instrument: drums, synthesizer, sometimes vocals.
