It's hard to narrow it down to a digestible size, but in my little HC expansion on Grey, I really love how he makes and maintains his relationships with others.

From my own interpretation of his canon content I get the feeling he's just someone who tries to find moments of relatablility with those around him, especially those he cares about. In my own writing, that's looked like bonding over a shared hobby, teaching someone a skill (or sharing knowledge of said skill), encouraging via shared past experiences, or looking for new opportunities to gain said shared experiences together.

For someone seemingly very busy, it's really important imo that he makes those connections with the people around him in whatever ways he can. It's not like the poor man has all the hang out time in the world, and we know they don't get weekends and holidays guaranteed like a regular job- so fighting for those moments of relatablility to connect with others (in sometimes rather esoteric and unique ways) is definitely one of my favorite parts of HC lore-expanded Greyson.

Even more so when thinking about him romantically and how he flirts??? Like normal men would just tell you they think you're cute and maybe they want to take you out sometime. But Grey? No no.

Grey found out your grandmother used to make these particular cookies growing up and you no longer have the recipe. All you remember is they tasted like shortbread, looked pinkish, and had raspberries in the dough. Cue this man spending 4 of his non-consecutive days off scouring the internet baking forums for ideas, trying out recipes, and finally getting something he THINKS is close, just so he can go "oh hey, so I made these yesterday when I was thinking about those cookies you were talking about." Like he just ~happened upon them~ all so he can watch your face light up when you say "oh my gosh these are PERFECT!"

I also adore the teasing. I admit that one is sooooo self fulfillment because anyone who can go tit-for-tat with me on the daily is just my kind of person, and way he just "You know nothing John" at the intern made me laaaaaugh. He probably didn't even mean it to be funny, but the later follow-up of him laughing so hard he almost got carted off to psych? Like, please, his sense of humor is so ridiculous I neeeeed him. I can't imagine him without the teasing and banter anymore if I'm being honest 😅 just lighthearted, friendly ribbing- nothing mean or harsh.

Couples that can joke around with each other in the most loving and wholesome ways are just UGHHHH I LOVE THEM 😩🥺 and I just see Grey being the perfect half to a couple like that.

You're a writing fiend! How do you keep your 'writer's block' at bay?

and the BIGGEST thing that keeps my writers block at bay is the fact that I have a creative collaborator for this story, @darkomen-carey (🙌🏼🤍🫶🏼🫠🥰)who I can always reach out to and tell her the scene I’m stuck on and why and then talk thru it together. Usually it’s because I’m struggling with conveying the proper emotions or HOW to bridge a scene into what’s coming next / how to setup other characters/their mindsets/etc. (and more often than not the solution is her giving me a virtual BONK over the head telling me I’m waaayyyy overthinking or over complicating whatever it is for no reason😭)

Having someone able to talk through things and give feedback or ask questions that help me formulate better visions in my mind is not only helpful but WAY more fun and enjoyable than struggling alone racking my brain for the right “thing/ dialogue/ scene” I can’t figure out.

**PERFECT example: I’ve struggled with writing a lot of Clarke POVs this deep into the story because it’s HARD for me to justify her mindset, how she can be SO OBTUSE and blinded to Lexa’s struggle and true feelings. (I don’t think you’re quite at this chapter yet or maybe you just passed it, the struggle/writers block hit hard writing Clarke’s bath tub spiral following the vegas trip/mall encounter) But @darkomen-carey relates to her better than I do and helps tell me what sort of things would likely be going through Clarke’s mind to drive her actions… and even threw together a quick visual for me (posting it below👇🏻) to help remind me of “how it all looked to Clarke” leading up to their breakup…. what triggered her paranoia spiral and this new lens she started seeing Lexa through that she’s not been able to really switch off since…..that really helped me settle into Clarke’s mind better to write her scenes.

She also sends random images/edits that either apply to later parts we’ve already discussed, therefore helping establish that scene/visual better for me once I get there, or inspires a new scene entirely bc I want to include those image somehow.

honestly my little celebrity idiots consume my thoughts and attention at ALL TIMES (to the detriment of most everything in my real life) so it’s just a constant loop of scenes and dialogues playing out, so whenever I do finally have time to sit down and write I’m never wondering WHAT happens next but more which scenes am I plucking out in what order… how to bridge them together the right way… what planned arcs/scenes maybe don’t make sense without adding on a bunch of other chapters haha

i don't even usually do this, it's literally my first time but damn i just HAVE to say, your way of writing is so beautiful. and when you explain certain things about characters, like y/n in 'I Want You To Stay' i can't even count how many times my jaw dropped from shock. because it felt like you understood me so well and knew me to explain literally...exactly how i am/how i feel about certain things 😭 you explained what I've struggled to put into words myself. it's just kinda crazy to me and i see it in your other fics too. i just have to say, you're probably/definitely my favorite writer. and you deserve wayy more than you do rn, your works are incredible and far better than others that I've read, i just can't seem to get enough of it. your effort is very much appreciated too, i hope you do know that. keep it up 😭🫶 and i hope you're doing well :) take care!

But thank youuu. 🫶🏼 One of my favourite things is when someone relates with the character really well. Sure, there's the occasional frustration about them and I can accept that, if only for messages like this that validate the feelings and emotions of these fictional beings who embody a lot of the things that I've observed and experienced as well. And love is just a beautiful thing to write about - how we crave it and how terrified it makes us, and how we act certain ways bc of it. I'm glad I'm able to verbalise the things you're unable to! I try, and it may not always come across but I'm glad this time, it did (and again, it makes up for silly messages like one telling me to kms bc they didn't vibe with iwyts oc lol). I think I'll always want to write complex characters. It's draining but it's absolutely satisfying! 😊

Was Changbin nervous after knowing the pack, minus Chan, would now know of his Omega Tendencies? How did he go about it? How did the pack react to it?

Sorry if these seem like obvious questions😭 I've only read those 2 Changbin Instalments and maybe 2 or 3 Minho instalments (That I might re-read🤭) I can't remember (I'd been on your blog for awhile I just never spoke, I was to afraid to cause I didn't understand much🥲💔) roughly the same amount of Chris instalments and the Hyunlix instalment🥹

If the pack was really shocked by the new info I can picture them turning to Chan after realizing he seemed unfazed and he'd just be like "Yeah I knew" *Shrug* and go back to playing with Pretty's thighs, which he 100% was already doing😂

This took place before Moss arrived right? After she got was introduced and found out about Changbin and Autumns dynamic, how did they react? i don't recall ever writing about after the pack finding out about Changbin's tendencies and/or mark :O i have a vague idea that i might've talked about it in an ask but i could be remembering wrong.... but anyway, i'll leave some thoughts under the cut!

i think Changbin's tendencies were very obvious to everyone in the pack, even if no one explicitly said anything. they kind of just... accepted Changbin as he was. that's Chris' pack philosophy, after all. to have a safe space, y'know?

with that being said, i have a feeling that the majority of the pack wouldn't really be surprised by autumn marking Changbin. mostly because, by that point they had been together for a while, and i'm sure their dynamic is more than obvious to anyone that takes a good look at them sdkjhfskjdf. i like to think that Changbin wears his mating mark proudly.

maybe he waited until all pack members were sitting together and randomly went "EVERYONE. I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY..." and showed the mark hahaha Autumn would blush, and everyone would mostly just congratulate them.

i'm sure more than one was super shocked that an omega could mark anyone at all, and if they inquired about it Autumn would've been just like "idk i just... did it".

Moss would absolutely love seeing their dynamic, btw. i'm sure she almost had stars in their eyes when she first saw them interacting with each other and when she was the mark. Moss is all about being unconventional, so i feel like they would engage both Changbin and Autumn to ask them about it.

my brain is a bit fried rn so this is all i can come up with, but i'll take it into account for a possible future instalment 👀 or one of those fluffy drabbles we've been talking about~
