HOLY SHIT !!!! It’s officially been a WHOLE YEAR since I started shipping these two… they mean sm to me actually I could cry (I’m in tears rn 💀💀). Sooooo ZoEl was smth I started PURELY as a coping mechanism… and while I’ve been hesitant to call it what it is, having Elio to use as a way to ship myself with a fictional character LITERALLY AS CRINGE AS THAT SOUNDS has genuinely changed my life in the BEST way possible 🥹🫶🏼 Like whenever I was feeling down or going thru a depressive episode, thinking abt having Zoro there with me genuinely made me motivated enough to get up n do shit !!! Like I could do a whole separate rant abt how One Piece as a whole has done that exact same thing but idk… it feels sm more special with Zo <33 And even now, TO THIS DAY, the best escapism method I have rn always ties back to ZoEl… wether it be cooking up new lore, thinking abt their future, thinking abt how the other Straw Hats would tease tf out of them, this ship always puts me in a good mood. PLUS I haven’t even gotten to talk abt all the cool ppl I’ve met because I started to interact with ppl in the community !! I’ve made such lovely mutuals that also (while not exactly in the One Piece verse) have the COOLEST OC x Canon/Yumeships AND THEY HAVE BEEN THE SWEETEST PPL EVER… srsly they help me feel much more confident in sharing abt these two and it’s been lovely knowing them 🫶🏼🫶🏼 Agh I just love my fictional bf sm… and Elio is ok I GUESS 😒 (/j) SO YEAH !!! So I was drawing some… ✨spicy✨ Elio art (my One Piece OC) and since I was home alone, I was like “Alr bet I can eat in the living room while drawing !!” AND THEN RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY DRAWING MY FAMILY COMES HOME AND I ALMOST DROPPED MY SKETCHBOOK WHILE TRYING TO CLOSE IT… AND WHEN IT FELL THE DRAWING WAS FULLY VISIBLE 😭😭

So my family TOTALLY almost saw my drawing of my SELF INSERT getting his guts rearranged by Zoro IM STILL NOT OVER IT WHATVTHE FUCK😭💀💀
