Every time another joke about Batman/Bruce Wayne passes by me, I can't help but imagine that the whole rumour about these two dating was originally (and probably accidentally) created by Bruce himself.
Just imagine, a teen Bruce, still only starting with his vigilante career, makes a crucial mistake - he pays with his own credit card in front of people, while being Batman. A stupid, absolutely instinctive mistake, but in his defence he wasn't sleeping normally for a week, and had an open wound in his stomach that day, so. Whoops.
And then someone asks Bruce Wayne about it, in front of a thousand cameras. And he blurts out the first thing that comes to his mind.
Reporter: So, mister Wayne, recently citizens had reported that they saw Batman paying for the damage in the city... with your credit card. Care to explain details behind this?
Bruce, smiling stupidly: Oh, he is my ex. I sometimes sponsor him.
The crowd: (goes wild)
Alfred, starting at the interview back in the Batcave: ...We are never going to get rid of this, are we?
And guess what? They don't!
Bruce thinks that with time passing, with his love interests switching and new rumours spawning in the world, they might forget about it. He was young, he was stupid - he fucked up, alright?
But decades pass. He has a whole football team of kids. Everyone still ship Bruce and Batman.
And when this stupid video accidentally gets resurfaced on the internet again, his family goes insane. They start creating even more stupid rumours on galas.
Reporter: Mister Wayne... For years now, the crowds are speculating... Who is exactly your mother, and where is she now?
Damian, sighing pitifully: My father and my mother don't enjoy contacting each other, sadly. My mom says that their relationship was just a rebound; father desperately tries to forget Batman... Still, to this day.
Bruce, gripping the glass of champagne: ...
Talia, watching this interview with Ra's: Now, that's my son right there.
Dick: Oh, why I was screaming at Batman in the middle of the street a few days ago? Oh, this bastard- I mean, this respectable vigilante, he dared to get in the argument with Bruce. He can't really leave him alone, really! They are so insane about each other... So toxic, but so, uh, captivating... But you know, Bruce! He has such a fragile heart...
Gotham: Aw-w, poor mister Wayne!
Bruce, sighing: Jesus Christ.
Tim, shaking his head to the camera: I hate Red Robin, really. Did you know that his existence is just a direct offence to my father? Yeah, actually, Batman took this kid under his wing with another man - I am not going to tell who - to make dad jealous. This is disgusting!
Jason, who returned from the death by pretending that all this time he was under the child protection system after becoming an accidental witness of the second Robin's death: Oh, yeah, it was tough... Poor kid exploded in front of my eyes! Reporter: But, mister Todd-Wayne, what were you doing in that warehouse?
Jason, wiping fake tears: They were like my divorced parents, you know... Batman and Bruce. Batman really tried to mend things with dad back then, and wanted me to like him... We just wanted to spend some time together with him, and that Robin kid... God, it was terrible... Batman refuses to contact me now. I miss my second dad...
Bruce, back in the Batcave, watching as Batman's reputation goes lower and lower: ........................... Alfred: Well, master Bruce... Bruce: Not a word. Al. Please.

Tumblr media
Oscar Piastri had learned to tune out the noise.
The Formula 1 paddock was controlled chaos, a symphony of roaring engines, overlapping conversations, and orders shouted through radios. But none of it fazed him. He moved through the garages and meetings with the same methodical calm he carried into every corner on track. His world was simple: improve, win, move forward.
And then she arrived.
Elena Sainz stepped into the paddock at the start of the 2024 season as if she had always belonged there—walking with quiet confidence, wearing a look he knew all too well. Because it was the same one Carlos gave him just before a race. He had seen her before, of course. There were photos of her on Sainz’s social media, Instagram stories of them cycling, on a yacht, at the family estate. But until that moment, he had never really paid attention.
The problem was, now he couldn’t stop.
The first time he saw her in her new role was at the pre-season press conference in Bahrain. She stood beside Carlos, wearing a striking red Ferrari dress, arms crossed, expression neutral as she listened to reporters fire off their questions. She didn’t force a smile, didn’t try to seem approachable. She was just there—assessing, calculating. Watching them all. Watching him.
Oscar kept his composure, as always. But when their eyes met, a sharp jolt of electricity ran down his spine.
Later, he made the comment without thinking too much about it.
"Since when do you have a personal assistant?"
Carlos, scrolling through something on his phone, didn’t even look up.
"She’s not my assistant."
"Oh, right, my bad." Oscar rolled his eyes with exaggerated dramatics. "What’s the correct term now? Trusted advisor?"
"Manager."
The voice wasn’t Carlos’.
Oscar turned just in time to see her approaching at a measured pace. Elena Sainz stopped beside them, offering him a half-smile that was anything but friendly.
"Elena Sainz, by the way." She extended her hand effortlessly. "But if you need to call me something else, I can give you a few suggestions."
It took Oscar a second to react before he shook her hand. Her skin was cold from the water bottle she held in the other, but her grip was firm. Confident. Irritatingly confident.
"How generous."
"They say it’s one of my best qualities." Elena tilted her head slightly, her expression composed but with a glint of amusement in her eyes. "That, and my ability to stay one step ahead."
Carlos clicked his tongue, clearly entertained.
"Give it a month, Piastri. Once you see how she works, you’ll be terrified."
"Oh, I already know." Oscar let go of Elena’s hand with practiced ease, as if he had felt absolutely nothing. As if his brain wasn’t still processing the intensity of her gaze. "I’m just surprised she didn’t put ‘master strategist’ on her business card."
Elena leaned against the table and shrugged.
"I figured ‘Carlos Sainz’s manager’ was enough to make it clear what I’m made of."
Oscar held her gaze a second longer than he should have.
Carlos cleared his throat.
"Alright, children. I’d rather not have my own manager fired on her first day."
Elena let out a quiet laugh before straightening up.
"Don’t worry, Carlos. I can handle it."
She met Oscar’s eyes once more before turning away, walking off with the same confidence she had arrived with.
Oscar exhaled through his nose and looked back at Carlos.
"I don’t like her."
Carlos smirked over the rim of his water bottle.
"Sure you don’t."
Oscar took a slow sip of his own drink, watching Elena’s figure on the other side of the room.
The problem was, he also couldn’t stop looking at her.
Oscar thought it would pass.
That the irritation Elena Sainz stirred in him would fade with time, like the foam on a beer after a toast. That her presence in the paddock would blend into the background, just another familiar face in a sea of them.
He was wrong.
Elena wasn’t like the other newcomers to Formula 1—the ones who arrived tentatively, trying to fit into the finely tuned machinery of a team. No. She was already fitted in. She already belonged.
The worst part was, she knew it.
Oscar saw it in the way she moved through the Ferrari garage, in how effortlessly she spoke to engineers, mechanics, and executives. In how Carlos barely had to glance at her for her to know exactly what he needed.
But most of all, he saw it in the way she looked at him.
It was a game. And he wasn’t sure when, exactly, it had started.
Maybe it was in Jeddah, when they crossed paths in a narrow hallway and she slipped past him with a barely audible whisper:
"Do you always walk that stiffly, or is it just when I’m around?"
Or in Melbourne, when he passed by the hospitality area and saw her leaning against a railing, sipping coffee with infuriating ease. When their eyes met, she raised an eyebrow and mused, just loud enough over the ambient noise:
"You don’t seem like a coffee person. I’d say hot chocolate. With marshmallows, maybe?"
Oscar frowned, not understanding why that threw him off so much.
Or perhaps it was in Japan, at one of those post-race parties where the noise and lights made everything feel a little more unreal. She was on the other side of the room, laughing at something someone had said, and then—without warning—she looked right at him. Champagne glass in hand, wearing that enigmatic half-smile that made him want to cut through the crowd just to see if, up close, she would smile at him the same way.
It was subtle. Insidious.
And Oscar was losing.
Because for every comment she made, he had a response ready on the tip of his tongue. Because every time she looked at him with that glint of mischief, he found himself searching for her in a room, waiting to see how long it would take for her to provoke him again.
Because, no matter how much he denied it, he loved the damn game.
Then came China.
It was no secret that Ferrari and McLaren were locked in a tight battle in the championship. Carlos, Leclerc, and Lando were fighting for points race after race, and Oscar, of course, was right in the middle of it all.
The weekend had been tense. During the press conference, Oscar tossed a casual remark at Carlos as they settled into their seats.
"Careful tomorrow, Sainz. I’d hate to see you in a wall just for the sake of tradition."
Carlos rolled his eyes, but it was the quiet laugh to his right that really caught his attention.
Elena stood with her arms crossed, expression neutral but with that glint in her eyes. As Oscar walked past her after the interviews, she glanced sideways at him.
Elena tilted her head, somewhere between amused and analytical.
"Interesting. I wonder if your confidence is real, or if you’re just used to faking it."
Oscar didn’t blink.
"I wonder the same about you."
Elena smiled, making no effort to deny anything.
"I suppose we’ll both find out."
Oscar held her gaze a moment longer before letting out a quiet laugh.
"I hope you won’t be disappointed by mine."
"I hope the same." She shrugged before turning on her heel. "Though, if I am… I’ll be sure to let you know."
And with that, she walked away.
Oscar exhaled, realizing too late that he had been holding his breath.
He was definitely losing.
This year, Miami had a different kind of energy.
Maybe it was the atmosphere—the sticky heat creeping under clothes, the constant mix of music and engines in the air. Maybe it was the tension in the championship, the ever-tightening battle, the sense that every race mattered more than the last.
Or maybe, just maybe, it was her.
Elena had been at every Grand Prix since the season started. But this weekend, for some reason, her presence felt heavier.
And then came Saturday night.
And the elevator.
The entire hotel was asleep.
Miami was a city of excess, of bright lights and incessant noise, but at that moment, inside the luxury skyscraper, everything was calm.
The only signs of life were a couple of employees walking silently down the hallways, and the two of them, waiting for the elevator in the lobby.
Oscar couldn't sleep. He had spent the last hour wandering around the hotel, without any particular destination, hoping that fatigue would hit him suddenly and send him to bed. It didn't work.
Elena, on the other hand, had just closed her laptop after losing track of time at the bar, going over a couple of public relations matters for Carlos. The glass of wine she’d been sipping on was still evident in the slight flush on her cheeks and the languid way she held her purse.
Neither of them said anything when they saw each other.
The tension from the past few weeks still hung in the air, like a storm that never quite broke. Oscar gave her a brief nod, and she did the same, but the silence between them felt heavier than usual.
The elevator was taking too long.
Oscar couldn’t help but glance sideways at Elena, noticing the subtle movement of her fingers on the strap of her purse. Impatient.
“Working late?” he finally asked, his voice low, just to fill the void.
She turned her head slightly, sizing him up before responding.
“Not everyone has the luxury of walking around the hotel when they can’t sleep.”
Oscar gave a wry smile.
“Yeah, well. Not everyone has the need to manage their brother’s public image every weekend.”
Elena squinted at him.
“It’s an easier job than you think.”
“Of course. Carlos never says anything out of line, never stirs controversy, never gets into trouble.”
“Exactly.”
Oscar let out a brief laugh through his nose, but the sound quickly died when the elevator finally arrived, its doors opening with a soft “ding.”
They stepped inside together.
The doors closed. The elevator shut with a soft click and began to move as normal.
Oscar leaned his back against the padded wall and let his head fall back, exhaling slowly. Elena did the same in front of him, though with more grace. She held her purse with both hands in front of her, as if she needed something to hold onto.
The silence was so thick that the faint hum of the elevator’s motor seemed deafening.
Oscar felt the weight of the day accumulating on his shoulders, in his breathing. He wasn’t sure why insomnia was worse tonight, why his body refused to rest. Or rather, he knew why, but he wasn’t in the mood to admit it. Not when the reason was standing right in front of him.
Suddenly, the elevator stopped abruptly.
There was no jolt, no harsh shake, just a sharp stop, accompanied by a momentary blackout in the control buttons.
 Elena straightened immediately.
“What the hell...?”
Oscar looked at the panel, hoping the light for the floor they were heading to would turn back on. It didn’t.
He didn’t feel the elevator moving again either.
Elena pressed a button. Then another. Then several, more insistently.
Nothing.
She turned her head toward Oscar, and he could see the exact moment she realized the situation.
“No.” She shook her head, almost as if she could reverse it. “No way.”
Oscar blinked slowly.
“I think we’re stuck.”
Elena closed her eyes and exhaled through her nose.
“No shit, Sherlock. How did you deduce that?”
He smiled because it came naturally, because there was something almost amusing about seeing her flustered.
“Calm down. It won’t be for long.”
Elena didn’t respond. She just pressed her lips together in a tense line and went back to pressing the buttons, as if the elevator would give in to her persistence.
The panel didn’t even beep.
She sighed and pressed the emergency button.
The speaker crackled with static before a sleepy voice responded:
“Yes?”
Elena leaned toward the microphone urgently.
“We’re stuck in the elevator.”
There was a pause. Then, a yawn.
“Oh. Okay.”
Elena frowned.
“Okay?”
“Yeah, yeah, don’t worry. It’s probably a temporary glitch. These things happen when the system resets in the early hours.”
Oscar and Elena exchanged a look.
“How long until it works again?” Oscar asked.
“Mmm… a few minutes. Half an hour at most.”
Elena threw her head back and closed her eyes, as if she needed all the patience in the world not to explode.
“Great.”
The intercom voice came through again.
“If it still doesn’t respond in a while, we’ll call maintenance. Don’t worry.”
There was a click, and then, just silence.
Oscar watched Elena cautiously, waiting for her reaction.
She looked back at him.
Then, she exhaled a long sigh before slowly sliding down the wall of the elevator until she was sitting on the floor, her legs crossed and her head resting against the padded panel.
Oscar raised an eyebrow.
“Giving up that easily?”
“No. I’m just adapting.”
Oscar watched her for a second longer, then shrugged and did the same.
It didn’t make sense to stay standing, after all.
The elevator was dim, lit only by the faint emergency light. It was late. Almost no one was awake in the hotel. There was no sound beyond the static hum of the machinery and their own breathing. The air was thick, charged with something neither of them knew how to handle.
Elena pulled out her phone, checking it out of habit, though she didn’t expect to find anything.
"No signal." Her voice was low, almost as if she didn’t want to break the silence between them.
"Perfect. Now you have no excuse to be watching nonsense on TikTok."
Elena narrowed her eyes, smiling faintly, but the mockery in his tone didn’t go unnoticed.
"And what are you going to do? Philosophize about life in the dark?"
Oscar looked at her, clearly amused. The sarcasm in her voice had vanished, replaced by something... closer. Something more intense.
"Maybe." He replied, still holding onto his attitude. But that spark of playfulness was there, a touch of complicity that was growing stronger, more palpable.
Elena didn’t say anything else. She remained silent for a few seconds, fiddling with her phone in her hands while the elevator stayed still.
Oscar watched how the soft light reflected on her face. Every small movement she made was a reminder of how close she was to him, of how their bodies seemed to be drawing closer without either of them planning it. It was hard not to notice how the proximity between them was increasing, how the electricity between their skins seemed to grow more intense with every passing second.
Finally, she broke the silence.
"You’ve never been very subtle, have you, Piastri?"
He smiled, but the smile wasn’t mocking. It was different, like he was recognizing her in some way.
"I don’t like wasting time."
Elena looked at him with something more than amusement in her eyes, as though she was evaluating every word, every reaction. Her legs shifted slowly, and without thinking, she let her knee brush against his. A soft touch, almost imperceptible, but close enough for both of them to feel it.
Oscar swallowed, his chest tightening with that rapid heartbeat he couldn’t ignore. The tension between them was almost tangible, a weight neither of them could shake off.
She leaned slightly towards him, not breaking eye contact, and their voices softened further, becoming more intimate, more personal.
"You know," she said quietly. "I wonder how much longer you’re going to keep denying it."
Oscar didn’t answer.
Because he knew exactly what she was talking about.
Because he couldn’t pretend he didn’t feel the raw energy between them, that insistent attraction that grew with every held glance, every accidental touch, every provocation disguised as indifference.
Because he knew she knew it too.
Elena raised an eyebrow, waiting. Challenging.
Oscar closed his eyes for a second.
He took a deep breath.
But when he opened them again, Elena was even closer.
He could see every detail of her face. He could count the centimeters between them. Every freckle that adorned her tan skin. He could hear her breath, feel her warm breath grazing his skin, the hint of wine lingering from the glass she must’ve had earlier at the hotel bar.
It was a trap. And he knew it.
But he didn’t move.
Because, damn it, he didn’t want to move.
Elena’s fingers grazed his forearm, just a touch, an experiment.
Oscar felt his skin light up instantly.
"This is a fucking terrible idea," he muttered.
"Yeah?" Elena tilted her head slightly, letting the tension pull them together like an invisible thread. "Then tell me you don’t want it."
Oscar didn’t answer.
Because he did want it.
He wanted it with an absurd intensity, with an urgency that had been consuming him from the moment he saw her in the paddock at the start of the season.
But he shouldn’t.
The elevator beeped and came to life with a jolt.
Oscar reacted immediately, like a spring releasing. He stood up quickly, not thinking. The muscles in his legs tensed, and his torso straightened abruptly. A rushed, almost desperate movement, as if escaping the situation was the only way out.
Elena stayed on the floor of the elevator, watching him with that half-mocking, half-challenging smile, not moving. The position she was in, her knees bent, her eyes fixed on him, gave her a sense of power and control that bordered on indecent. Every inch of her body seemed to dare him to give in.
Oscar tried to look away, but his eyes inevitably returned to her. He knew he should leave, that he shouldn’t give in to what he wanted, to what his body was asking for, but... Elena was there, so close, so willing, and he was about to lose it all.
With a sharp movement, he tried to step towards the exit, distancing himself from her, avoiding any contact. He shouldn’t look at her anymore, shouldn’t think about it anymore.
But the damage was done. His mind was filled with images of her, from the most innocent to the most lewd thing he could have ever imagined.
Oscar quickly turned, as if the mere act of looking at her one more second would lead him to ruin. He walked towards the elevator’s exit, his pace quickening, and once he crossed the threshold, he breathed deeply, as if trying to expel all the accumulated tension from his body.
Elena didn’t say anything. She made no move. She stayed there, on the floor of the elevator, watching him walk away with a barely visible smile on her lips.
Oscar took a few steps, stopping at the end of the hallway before turning back, looking at her again, feeling the magnetism drawing him toward her. His body was begging to return, begging for more. But he stood firm.
In the end, he didn’t turn back.
But deep down, he knew it was only a matter of time.
By the time Oscar reached his room, he felt like he was about to throw up everything he had eaten in the last twenty-four hours. What had just happened? Had he just dreamed all that?
He collapsed onto the bed, his mind spinning while the darkness of the room enveloped him. Tomorrow he had a race, but in that moment, all he could think about was Elena. That damn kiss. What had just happened, and what he still didn’t understand.
The clock read three in the morning. His eyes were heavy, but he couldn’t sleep. He tossed and turned in the bed, uncomfortable. The heat was still there, weighing on his chest, and the memory of her lewd smile wouldn’t leave him alone.
Suddenly, the sound of a knock on the door made him jump. Oscar frowned. Who the hell was knocking at this hour?
He sprang up and approached the door still drowsy, scratching his head, and opened it almost without thinking.
And there she was.
Elena.
Her slender, defined figure stood in the doorway, the hallway light partially illuminating her face, which held a serious expression but with that playful spark in her eyes.
"Am I interrupting?" she said, her tone both cheeky and innocent at the same time.
Oscar stood frozen for a moment, speechless. He couldn’t believe it.
"What are you doing here? How the hell do you know what room I’m in?" he asked, the exhaustion in his voice mixed with a clear sense of bewilderment.
"I speak five languages and I have charisma," she replied, leaning against the door.
Oscar should make a sarcastic comment, something sharp to break the tension, but he can't. Not when he still feels the ghost of her breath trapped between them in that elevator, the images he has tried to push deep into his mind now resurfacing at the worst possible moment.
Elena doesn't say anything. She just looks at him.
Oscar feels the weight of her gaze on every nerve ending.
"Tell me this isn't a bad idea," she whispers, though her tone says she already knows the answer.
Oscar could say many things.
He could remind her who she is. He could tell her that they hate each other, that they don't get along, that they're incompatible. He could remind her who her brother is.
But she steps closer.
And Oscar feels like he's drowning.
It's slow. It's unbearably slow. The ground seems to tilt beneath him as Elena moves a little closer, with the same determination she uses to negotiate contracts and manipulate press conferences. And Oscar, for the first time, has nothing to say.
Because he wants this.
He wants it so much it hurts.
"Tell me to stop," she whispers, but they're already too close, and the air between them is suffocating, electric, sharp like a summer storm.
Oscar says nothing.
And then, finally, he kisses her.
It's soft at first, as if they're still testing the boundaries of something too big to contain. But Elena responds with the same repressed intensity, her nails sliding down his neck, a small gasp smothered against his lips, and then everything crashes, like a snowball tumbling down a cliff.
No more doubts.
No more lines.
Just them.
The room is too small for everything they're feeling.
Oscar pulls her against him with more force than he should. It's not sweet. It's not gentle. It's nothing like it should be. But Elena doesn't want that either. Her hands search for him with the same silent desperation, the same urgency of someone who's been holding back for too long.
Her jacket falls to the floor in one swift motion.
Oscar's hands trace her back, outline the curve of her waist, and when their lips part for just a second, just enough to take a breath, they look at each other like they've just jumped into the void.
No one says anything.
Because there's nothing to say.
Elena grabs his shirt tightly, as if holding onto something. As if she can pretend this isn't tearing everything apart.
And Oscar... Oscar feels like he can finally breathe.
Because this isn't a mistake.
It can't be. It can’t feel this good.
When he kisses her again, Elena moans against his mouth and he feels something inside him break.
And there's no going back.
Clothes disappear somewhere between their broken kisses and the clumsy steps toward the bed. There are no pauses, no space for thought. Only the sound of their ragged breaths and the weight of the inevitable.
Elena is fire in his hands, in his mouth, in the way she touches him like she's discovering something that's always been there, something she's denied for too long. And Oscar... Oscar surrenders.
There's no rivalry, no fear, no one else in the world but her.
When their bodies finally meet, it's a perfect mess. A mix of need and awkwardness, muffled moans and nails marking skin. There are no doubts, no barriers. Just them, consuming each other in the darkness of a hotel room in Miami, not thinking about tomorrow.
Because right now, nothing else matters.
Dawn finds them tangled in the sheets, breaths still ragged, skin warm from what they've just done. Neither of them speaks. There is no room for words in the aftermath they've just unleashed.
Oscar feels the weight of the silence between them, but it's not uncomfortable. Not yet. Elena lies next to him, her face turned toward the ceiling, her hair messy on the pillow. She seems lost in her thoughts, but when Oscar moves his hand, barely grazing her arm, she doesn't pull away.
They shouldn't be here.
They shouldn't have crossed that line.
But they have. And the worst part is that instead of regretting it, Oscar only thinks about doing it again.
"Let's not talk about this, okay?" Elena says, finally breaking the silence.
Her voice is soft, measured, as if she’s testing the waters.
Oscar glances at her out of the corner of his eye. He doesn’t want to say anything that will shatter this moment, make it more real than it already is.
"I don’t see what there is to say," he replies, because it’s the truth.
Elena lets out a low, almost ironic laugh and turns toward him, resting her head on her hand. Her eyes scan him with that intensity that drives him crazy, the kind that turns him into a damn fool every time he runs into her in the paddock.
"This doesn’t change anything," she says, with a certainty Oscar doesn’t know whether to envy or fear.
And maybe he should agree. Maybe he should nod, pretend that this was just a bad idea, a momentary mistake they can laugh off later.
But when Elena leans in and gently bites his lower lip before pulling away with a smile that’s pure poison, Oscar knows he’s screwed.
Because this changes everything.
The next morning, Oscar wakes up with the feeling that it was all a dream.
But the lingering warmth on his skin and the slight pressure of the mattress beside him tell him otherwise.
He blinks, trying to clear the fog of sleep, and the first thing he sees is Elena’s profile, sitting on the edge of the bed, adjusting the cuff of her blouse. Her hair is still tangled, her neck bearing traces of his mouth, and the sunlight of Miami filters its golden light through the curtains, making her look almost unreal.
She’s fucking beautiful.
And she’s also Carlos Sainz’ sister.
Oscar closes his eyes and curses under his breath.
He feels like he should say something, but his mind is still caught in the image of the night before. How Elena had surrendered to him with the same ferocity with which she looks at him in the paddock. How the tension that had been choking them both for months finally erupted into something neither of them could control.
And now, she’s there. Getting dressed. Preparing to leave.
As if nothing had happened.
As if they hadn’t spent the night devouring each other.
"So, not even a 'good morning' after everything we did last night?" he says, his voice still a little rough from sleep.
Elena doesn't even bother to turn around, though he notices the brief pause in her movements before she slips on her heels.
"Why drag out the inevitable?" she replies, shrugging.
Oscar lets out a low, incredulous laugh.
"The inevitable?"
"That we'll go on with our lives as if this never happened." She finally turns, resting a hand on her hip with that air of superiority that drives him crazy. "I know you can do it, Piastri. If you can keep a poker face after Lando closes you out on track, this shouldn't be a problem."
Oscar watches her closely, looking for any hint of doubt in her expression. He doesn't find any.
"Wow, what an elegant way to say it was a mistake."
Elena gives him a half-smile, as sharp as ever.
"I didn't say it was a mistake. I just said it’s not going to happen again."
Oscar narrows his eyes.
"So this is how we're going to play it?"
"This is how we're going to play it," she replies, with a certainty he knows is just a façade.
Oscar exhales and falls back onto the pillow, running a hand over his face.
"Well, I guess it was a pleasure doing business with you, Sainz."
Elena laughs softly, and that frustrates him more because it sounds genuinely amused, like this is just a simple game she has full control over.
"Take care, Piastri," she says finally, before turning and walking out of the room.
Oscar stares at the ceiling, feeling the echo of her perfume in the air.
Of course. Because this is perfectly normal.
Because he's definitely not about to lose his mind.
And because, evidently, this isn't over. Not by a long shot.
Oscar should have known that "it’s not going to happen again" was the biggest lie of the century.
Because it happens again.
And again.
And again.
In hidden rooms in the paddock, in hotels around the world, in deserted elevators and offices with the door slightly ajar. In any corner where there’s enough shadow for no one to see them, and just enough risk to make their hearts pound in their chests.
The first time he breaks his supposed resolution is at the next Grand Prix, in Ferrari’s hospitality entrance.
Elena is standing with her arms crossed, arguing with Carlos about something related to his race strategy. She’s wearing a fitted black dress with a blazer on top, and Oscar is trying to concentrate on his coffee when she gives him a fleeting glance, barely a second of eye contact that shouldn’t mean anything.
But his spine stiffens instantly.
And when she disappears down the back hall, he knows he’s going to follow her before he even thinks about it.
"I don’t even know why I bother pretending to be strong with you," he murmurs, closing the door behind him just a second before Elena pushes him against the wall and kisses him with a ferocity that leaves him breathless.
"Because you’re proud, Piastri." Her smile is lethal against his lips.
"And you’re a liar," he replies, sliding his hands under her blazer and pressing her against him.
"Yeah?"
"'It’s not going to happen again,'" he mocks, exaggerating her tone.
Elena laughs against his skin, right on the line of his jaw, before whispering in his ear:
"Well, sometimes I say things I don’t mean."
And Oscar, of course, is completely screwed.
After that, things escalate as fast as a Formula 1 car on a straight.
The hotel elevator in Monaco, where they barely manage to pull apart in time when the door opens into the lobby.
The engineers’ room in Canada, where he almost kisses her right next to the menu mural, and she laughs in his face when he stops at the last second.
The back corridor of the paddock in Spain, where he slides his hand across her backside when no one’s looking, and she spends the rest of the day with her skin burning.
"This is a really bad idea," Oscar says that same afternoon, just before he pushes her against the wall of his hotel room and kisses her like his life depends on it.
"A horrible idea," Elena agrees, between gasps.
"We can’t keep doing this."
"Never again."
"Last time."
"Last time," she repeats, her fingers tangled in his hair.
Obviously, they’re doomed.
The problem with saying "last time" is that they never follow through.
Oscar should be worried. Not just because this is getting out of control, but because it’s becoming more reckless with each time. At least in the beginning, they tried to keep it professional during the day and only let themselves go in the privacy of a hotel room at midnight. But now...
Now Elena holds his gaze a little too long in meetings. Now they cross paths in the paddock, and she brushes her fingers against his arm as she passes. Now he sees her sitting next to Carlos in Ferrari’s hospitality, and all he can think about is the way she moaned his name the night before.
It’s a miracle no one has discovered them.
"You’re playing with fire," Lando tells him in Silverstone, after catching Oscar looking toward Elena for the fifth time in half an hour.
Oscar feigns ignorance.
"Sorry?"
"I don’t know what’s going on there, but whatever it is, Carlos is going to kill you."
Oscar scoffs, but something inside him tightens.
Because that’s the other thing: the risk. Not just for his career, not just because if anyone at McLaren finds out, it could be a scandal, but because Carlos Sainz still sees him as a rival, and if he finds out that Oscar is tangled up with his sister, he’ll probably strangle him with his bare hands.
But it’s hard to care about that when she keeps sneaking into his hotel room at midnight.
When she keeps leaving marks on his skin that he has to hide before he puts on his racing suit.
When she smiles at him from across the paddock with that damn expression of "I know exactly what you’re thinking," and Oscar has to bite his tongue to keep from dragging her somewhere private.
It’s not just attraction. It’s something worse.
And the bomb finally explodes in Hungary.
The Hungarian GP should be the best day of his life.
He should be celebrating his first Formula 1 victory, savoring the champagne on the podium, feeling the adrenaline still coursing through his veins.
But it’s all overshadowed by the controversy, by McLaren’s terrible strategy.
Oscar shouldn’t feel guilty for winning, but he does.
People are hugging him, patting him on the back, congratulating him like nothing happened. Lando is professional in front of the cameras, but in the garage, his expression is tense. He wanted that win. He deserved it. But the strategy benefited Oscar, and now it’s impossible to enjoy it.
He hasn’t seen Elena since he stepped off the podium.
Maybe he should be glad about that. After all, this is what they had agreed on: a game with no feelings, no strings attached, no complications.
When he arrives at the hotel, his room is completely dark.
Oscar closes the door behind him and stands in the middle of the room, not turning on the light, not moving.
He doesn't know what to do with himself.
He should be happy. Euphoric. Victorious. But all that’s in his chest is an indescribable weight, something that suffocates him, that tangles his thoughts until he doesn't know what to feel.
He clenches his fists. The adrenaline of the day still pulses in his veins, mixed with exhaustion and frustration. He shouldn't feel this way. Not after winning.
The door opens again.
He doesn’t even need to turn around to know it’s her.
Elena enters silently, not turning on the light, saying nothing. She just closes the door and walks over to the bed, sitting on the edge with the same ease with which she’s been invading his life from the start.
Oscar exhales a trembling sigh.
He doesn’t know what pushes him to move, but suddenly his legs give away and he falls to his knees in front of her, his head bowed, his arms powerless at his sides.
And then, he’s resting his forehead on her lap.
Elena doesn’t say anything.
She just runs a hand through his hair with a softness that disarms him.
Oscar squeezes his eyes shut. And he doesn’t know why, but he's crying.
Tears fall without permission, without control, without him being able to stop them.
He doesn’t sob, he doesn’t shake, he doesn’t make any noise. He just feels the heat on his cheeks, the pressure in his chest, his breath ragged.
Elena’s fingers continue in his hair, tracing slow lines, calming him without haste.
“You deserve this,” she whispers, so quietly it almost feels like a secret. “Don’t doubt for a second that this victory is yours. And no one else’s.”
Oscar closes his eyes.
He clings to those words.
To her.
Elena leans over him, her hand tangling in his hair with the same delicacy someone would use to pet a wounded animal.
Oscar feels her breath above his head, warm and steady.
“Look at me,” she says, but he can’t.
Not yet.
He stays there, with his forehead resting on her lap, his hands clenched on her pants, trying to contain something he doesn’t even understand.
“Oscar,” Elena repeats, softer this time, and runs her fingers down his neck. “You deserve this. No matter what anyone else says. No matter what anyone else thinks.”
Oscar squeezes his eyes shut tightly.
“They handed it to me,” he murmurs, his voice broken. “It’s not a real victory.”
“Don’t be an idiot,” she cuts him off without hesitation, but her tone remains sweet, still Elena. “Of course it’s real. You were faster than everyone out there. You didn’t stop fighting. You didn’t stop proving you deserve every second of that podium.”
Oscar swallows hard.
“But Lando…”
“But Lando nothing,” she interrupts him. “You don’t owe anyone an apology. You don’t have to feel guilty for winning.”
He doesn’t answer.
“Oscar,” she insists, and this time she takes his face in her hands, forcing him to lift his head.
Their eyes meet in the dim light of the room.
“Don’t let anyone make you doubt what you are,” she says, and her voice is an anchor, it’s fire, it’s a reminder that she’s here, with him, holding him when he feels like everything else is falling apart. “Today, you won. And you did it.”
Oscar looks at her.
Something inside him breaks, but not in the way he’s felt broken all day.
It’s something else.
Something deeper. Something that scares him.
Because until now, it had been easy to convince himself that what he had with Elena was just physical. A game. Something neither of them would take too seriously.
But here she is, holding him, seeing him, telling him what he needs to hear at the exact moment he needs to hear it.
And Oscar knows he’s fucked.
Elena keeps holding his face, her touch firm and sure, as if with just her contact she could return the stability he feels crumbling inside him.
Oscar wants to speak. He wants to say something that will lighten the weight in his chest. But all he does is inhale, deeply and brokenly, clinging to the feeling of her hands on his skin.
“Breathe,” Elena tells him, with a sweetness that’s almost his undoing.
So, he does.
He forces himself to fill his lungs with air and let it out slowly, as if with every exhale, he could release the knot in his throat, the doubt, the resentment towards himself.
Elena slides her thumbs over his cheeks, with a tenderness that’s almost unfamiliar to him.
“That’s it,” she murmurs. “That’s better.”
Oscar closes his eyes for a second. When he opens them again, she’s still there, watching him with that intensity that always disarms him.
And it’s in that moment when he realizes.
How fucking easy it would be to fall in love with her.
Because if Elena can see him like this, completely undone, and still look at him like he’s the same confident and determined driver everyone thinks he is… what else is she seeing in him that he himself can’t even recognize?
The thought terrifies him. Terrifies him a lot.
So he does the only thing he knows how to do: he straightens up, pulls away, rebuilds the distance he’s been ignoring between them since this started.
Elena lets him do it, but her eyes follow him with a look of understanding that unsettles him.
The silence between them is thick, heavy with something Oscar can no longer ignore. He has pulled away, tried to regain his composure, but it’s useless. He can still feel her touch on his skin, still hear her voice in his head, still see those eyes piercing through him as if they had always known the exact point to strike to bring him down.
"This isn’t just physical, is it?" His own voice sounds foreign, low, and almost trembling. As if, by saying it out loud, he’s admitting to something far greater.
Elena doesn’t seem surprised. She doesn’t lower her gaze, doesn’t hesitate, doesn’t back away. There’s no fear or uncertainty in her expression, only the same certainty that has driven him insane from the very start.
"It never was."
Oscar swallows hard, his chest rising and falling with something he can’t tell if it’s relief or terror. Or both at the same time.
"From the moment I saw you in the paddock," she continues, her voice calm, steady, "I knew I was going to fall for you. It was inevitable. And when you looked at me for the first time, I knew you were going to fall, too."
Oscar blinks, surprised by how easily she says it. As if it’s a simple truth, an undeniable fact. And maybe it was. Maybe this was never in his control.
Somehow, that makes him laugh. He drops his head, a rough, resigned chuckle escaping his lips, because of course Elena knew before he did. Of course she had already figured it out while he was busy pretending it wasn’t happening.
When he looks at her again, it’s with different eyes. With the eyes of someone who knows he’s lost, that there’s no turning back.
"You’re unbearable," he mutters, but there’s a smile on his face.
Elena smiles too. And Oscar knows, with terrifying certainty, that he’s screwed. Completely, irreversibly screwed.
Oscar still stands before her, in the dim light of the room. His hands, still clenched into fists, gradually relax. Elena remains seated at the edge of the bed, her posture at ease but her gaze intense, fixed on him, as if she already knows what he’s going to do before he does.
"So, what do we do now?" he asks, his voice low, as if speaking in a space that belongs only to the two of them.
Elena leans forward slightly, resting her elbows on her knees. The soft light of the room traces the curve of her face, her collarbone, the golden sheen of her skin still warm from the Hungarian summer. Oscar swallows.
"We could keep pretending nothing’s happening," she suggests, with a smile that doesn’t quite reach her eyes.
Oscar scoffs, glancing down at his own hands before refocusing on her. "Great idea. That’s worked brilliantly so far."
Elena lets out a soft laugh, a low sound that skims over his skin. Then, with the same tranquility as always, she straightens up and rests her hands on the mattress, tilting her head in thought.
"We keep it a secret a little longer," she finally says. "We explore… this."
Oscar frowns, his pulse still erratic from everything they’ve just admitted.
"This?"
"Whatever is happening between us," she explains, her hand making a subtle gesture between them. "No pressure, no expectations. Just… letting it grow."
Oscar feels his breathing deepen slightly, as if his body is trying to absorb the calm in Elena’s voice. He doesn’t know what he expected her to say, but now that he hears it, he realizes this is the only thing that makes sense.
"Improvising?" he asks, his tone lighter, though something still lingers in his chest.
Elena nods slowly. "Improvising."
Oscar sinks back onto his knees, closer this time, his hands resting on the edge of the mattress, just inches from hers. The room seems to shrink, narrowing down to the proximity of their bodies, to the warm, settled tension between them.
He looks at her and, instead of doubt, all he sees in her is certainty. As if she has known from the start that this was the only possible outcome.
"We’re screwed, aren’t we?" he murmurs, almost smiling.
Elena tilts her head, her fingers barely brushing against Oscar’s on the bed. A small, fleeting contact, but one that electrifies the space between them.
"Up to our necks."
Oscar exhales slowly and tilts his head back, staring at the ceiling as if he might find some kind of answer there. But there are no answers—only the undeniable reality that, for the first time, they are acknowledging what’s between them without pretending it doesn’t exist.
Elena shifts on the bed and pats the mattress beside her, a silent invitation. There’s no ulterior motive in the gesture, no expectation, and maybe that’s what makes Oscar surrender so easily. He lies down beside her, his head resting on the pillow, leaving a small space between them.
And for the first time since this began, there’s no urgency, no hands exploring skin, no breath-stealing kisses. They’re just there, sharing the same air, seeing each other without the barrier of immediate desire.
They talk.
At first, about absurd things. Silly habits, likes they’ve never admitted to each other. Elena sleeps with socks on, even in the summer, and Oscar looks at her in horror when she says it. He has a specific routine for putting on his gloves before getting in the car, and she laughs because her brother does the same.
Then come childhood stories, dreams they once had and those they still chase. Elena tells him she wanted to be an astronaut as a child but got too dizzy in space simulators. Oscar confesses he’s still not entirely used to fame, that sometimes he misses being anonymous.
As the night stretches on and the conversation slows, words tangling with sleepiness, Oscar turns on his side and watches her.
"Did you know this was going to happen?" he asks quietly.
Elena blinks slowly and smiles, with that air of confidence that undoes him.
"I knew the moment you saw me in the paddock."
Oscar scoffs, half amused, half resigned. "How convenient."
"Not my fault you’re so predictable."
Oscar laughs and covers his face with his hand for a moment before rolling onto his back again.
"I’m going to hate myself for saying this, but… I think I like that about you."
Elena glances at him out of the corner of her eye, her smile needing no words to be understood.
And just like that, without realizing it, they fall asleep.
The break doesn’t last long.
During the Belgian Grand Prix, everything appears to be the same: the same fleeting touches when no one is looking, the same encounters in empty hallways, the same tension whenever they’re too close. But now, there’s something more. Something in the way Oscar looks for her before getting into the car, in the way Elena lingers a second too long when fixing the collar of the shirt she so boldly ripped off his body just ten minutes ago. Something in the way their fingers brush when she hands him a bottle of water right after, in the way they look at each other when they think no one is watching.
And when Oscar crosses the finish line, knowing he’ll be on the podium again, his first instinct isn’t to celebrate—it’s to find her. Standing on the podium, adrenaline still rushing through his body and the trophy in his hand, his eyes scan the crowd until they lock onto Elena’s. And when she smiles at him, he feels like he could live in that moment forever.
That night at the hotel feels different again. Instead of immediately losing themselves in each other, they collapse onto the bed to watch the race replay. And when the camera shows Oscar on the podium, smiling with pure happiness, eyes bright and expression open, Elena can’t hold back. She lets out a laugh so loud it echoes through the room.
Oscar, confused, turns to her with a frown. “What’s so funny?”
Elena, trying to hold back her laughter, points at the screen. “Your lovesick puppy face.”
Oscar follows the direction of her finger, and then he sees it. Sees himself. And he can’t do anything but laugh, because it’s true. The camera caught the exact moment he found Elena in the crowd, and the expression on his face leaves no room for doubt.
“I do not have a lovesick puppy face,” he protests, but his own laughter betrays any attempt at indignation.
Elena turns to him, raising an eyebrow. “Oscar, darling. Let’s just pray no one else notices, because it would be hard to deny the accusations.”
And with that, they laugh until tears stream down their faces, until they’re breathless, until Oscar, with his head resting on Elena’s stomach, feels something dangerously close to the simplest, purest kind of happiness.
Because for the second time, they don’t need to hide in passion, in desire. For the second time, they enjoy each other’s company without sex getting in the way.
Just them.

Elena wakes up to the weight of an arm draped over her waist and the muffled sounds of the city filtering through the hotel window. She blinks, still caught between sleep and wakefulness, acutely aware of the warmth pressed against her back, of the slow, steady breath against her neck.
Oscar.
Recognition comes at the same time as reality—the grayish dawn light in Belgium, the distant hum of traffic, the calendar marking the end of a weekend that has changed everything.
And the certainty that in less than two hours, she’ll be on a plane back to Madrid.
She sighs, shifting slightly under Oscar’s arm. He grumbles in protest, tightening his hold on her, as if his subconscious understands what’s about to happen before he does.
“I have to go,” she whispers, though she doesn’t move.
Oscar doesn’t respond immediately. His breath is heavy against her shoulder, still half-asleep, and when he finally mumbles something, his voice is rough.
“Five more minutes.”
Elena smiles softly, but she knows she can’t give in.
“Carlos is waiting for me downstairs. If I take too long, he’s coming up to get me.”
Oscar sighs and, at last, loosens his arm. When she turns to face him, she finds his face buried in the pillow, brows furrowed, hair a complete mess. He looks like a grumpy little kid refusing to start the day.
“Don’t make that face,” she teases, sitting on the edge of the bed to put on her shoes.
Oscar lifts his head just enough to squint at her.
“What face?”
“That one. The ‘I’m going to be a martyr because the girl I like is leaving me in a hotel’ face.”
He clicks his tongue and flops back onto the pillow with dramatic flair.
“Slander.”
Elena lets out a quiet laugh as she ties her laces. Then, unhurriedly, she leans toward him, pressing a hand into the mattress as her lips brush his cheek.
“I’ll see you soon.”
Oscar doesn’t reply right away. He just looks at her. But there’s something in his expression—in the way he watches her, in how his hand grips the edge of the sheet like he’s about to say something else—that makes her hesitate.
Because for the first time since this started, they realize they’ve never gone this long without seeing each other.
And they don’t know what that will feel like.
Elena should stand up and leave. But she doesn’t.
Instead, she lets her gaze trace over his face, memorizing every detail. Oscar looks back at her just as intently, and then, without thinking too much, she leans in and kisses him.
It’s brief, but not rushed. There’s no desperation, no urgency—just the certainty that she wants him. That even if they go in opposite directions, even if weeks pass without seeing each other, what they have won’t fade with distance.
When they pull apart, Oscar watches her with a mix of surprise and something else—something she doesn’t want to analyze too closely right now.
“That was unfair,” he murmurs, his voice still thick with sleep.
Elena smiles.
“You’ll survive.”
And before he can argue, she gets to her feet, grabs her bag, and walks out the door.
It clicks shut.
And Oscar is alone.
For a few seconds, he just lies there, staring at the ceiling, the warmth of Elena’s kiss still lingering on his lips.
It’s not the first time he’s watched her leave. They’ve had plenty of quiet goodbyes—in hotel hallways, in elevators, in hidden corners of the paddock where no one was looking. But this one feels different. Heavier.
He sighs, running a hand over his face before forcing himself to get up.
The room still smells like her. It’s a ridiculous thing to notice, but he does—when he moves, when he picks up his clothes from the floor, when he starts stuffing them into the open suitcase beside the bed. There’s something mechanical about the act of folding t-shirts and layering them over piles of laundry, of zipping up the suitcase with a sharp click, of mentally checking if he’s forgotten anything.
For some reason, it annoys him.
He’s supposed to be looking forward to the summer break. Four weeks with no races, no flights every other day, no endless motorhome meetings. It’s what he’s been waiting for.
But now that it’s here—now that the door has closed and Elena is gone—it doesn’t feel as good as he thought it would.
His phone buzzes on the nightstand.
Oscar picks it up without thinking, expecting a message from his mother or the team. But no.
Elena: I hope you’ve at least gotten out of bed. Don’t blame me when you realize you’re running late for the airport.
He exhales a small laugh, leaning against the desk. Of course Elena is the first to text. She always seems one step ahead of him.
Oscar: Don’t you have anything better to do than harass me first thing in the morning?
It takes less than ten seconds for a reply.
Elena: I have an hour-long drive ahead of me. Consider this an act of charity.
Oscar shakes his head, barely noticing the way a smile tugs at his lips.
After a moment, his fingers slide over the screen again.
Oscar: Do you miss me already?
This time, the reply takes a little longer. As if Elena is actually thinking about it.
Finally, his screen lights up.
Elena: Keep dreaming.
Oscar sets the phone back down on the nightstand, still smiling faintly, but the feeling in his chest doesn’t fade.
Because, deep down, he already misses her.
Tumblr media
He has barely stepped into the terminal when he spots his mother.
She’s standing there, arms crossed, a knowing little smirk on her face—like she knows something he doesn’t. Or worse: like she knows something he thinks he’s hidden well.
And then he sees it.
The phone in her hand. The screen lit up.
And a crystal-clear image of his own face on the Belgian Grand Prix podium, wearing the most obvious, irrefutable, damning expression he’s ever had in his life.
That damn photo.
Oscar stops dead in his tracks, the exhaustion from the flight hitting him all at once, mixed with pure, knee-jerk denial.
“No.”
His mother doesn’t even blink.
“Yes.”
“I don’t make that face.”
“Oh, darling…” she sighs, holding the screen closer to him, as if that was necessary. “You have exactly that face.”
Oscar grimaces, shifting his gaze to anything else—the people walking by, the luggage carts, the absurdly patterned airport carpet.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
His mother raises an eyebrow.
“Oh, really?” She swipes across the screen and shows him another image, this time a video capturing the exact moment his face changes when he spots Elena in the crowd. “And what’s this, then?”
Oscar clenches his jaw, cursing internally at the cameraman who managed to capture that moment so precisely.
“I was…” He trails off, desperately searching for an excuse. But there isn’t one. Because he knows exactly why he had that expression. He knows exactly who he was looking at. And he knows that his mother knows, too.
She waits, patient, with that look that has been disarming him since childhood.
Oscar exhales, defeated.
“Can I at least get a coffee before the interrogation?”
His mother smirks, turning toward the exit.
“Oh, of course. But don’t think you’re getting away with this, darling. We have a lot to talk about.”

For Elena, summers at home have always had their own rhythm, a routine shaped by the heat, sports, and family. And she enjoys it. She needs it, even. After months of airports, race tracks, and frantic schedules, there’s something comforting about returning to familiar sounds—the echo of footsteps on stone floors, the rustling leaves stirred by the wind, the laughter of her sisters in the garden.
But this summer is different.
Because, for the first time, there’s something—someone—outside of this world occupying her mind more than it should.
She tells herself it’s absurd, that it’s not like they’re going years without seeing each other. It’s just a month. Four weeks. Thirty days.
And yet, every night, as the rest of the house sleeps, she feels the buzz of her phone under her pillow, and her heart skips a beat.
Oscar.
Oscar: What is Carlos Sainz’s favorite sister doing on a random Tuesday?
Elena: Trying not to get caught texting you. And you?
Oscar: Counting the days until I can see you roll your eyes at me in person again.
Elena bites her lip, hiding a smile in the darkness.
Elena: I’d love to say I don’t miss you at all.
Oscar: But you can’t.
No. She can’t.
And it’s ridiculous because she keeps herself busy. She wakes up early to go hiking with her father and Carlos. She plays football with her cousins in the garden. She joins Carlos and his friends on their cycling routes, challenging each other to climb the mountain passes faster, both acting more like kids than fully grown adults.
And in the middle of it all, she always finds a moment.
A stolen minute under the shade of a secluded tree to call him. A quick text while changing shoes. A picture of Carlos falling off his bike, his foot still clipped to the pedal, captioned: I miss you, but this makes up for it a little.
Oscar’s reply comes instantly.
Oscar: You’re lucky I like you this much.
Elena chuckles softly, leaning her head back against the tree trunk.
She knows this is dangerous. The more they get used to this, the harder it will be to go back to their respective lives, each on opposite ends of the globe.
But right now, she doesn’t care.
Tumblr media
It’s the middle of the night, and she’s been asleep for a couple of hours when the vibration of her phone pulls her from sleep.
Elena blinks into the darkness of her room, disoriented, her heart beating slow and heavy in her chest. She reaches blindly toward her nightstand, fumbling until her fingers find the device.
The screen lights up the dim room.
Oscar.
It’s four in the morning in Madrid. Two in the afternoon in Melbourne.
She presses her lips together before swiping to accept the call, bringing the phone to her ear as she sinks into her pillow.
“Do you know what time it is?” Her voice is a hoarse whisper from sleep.
On the other end, Oscar lets out a quiet laugh.
“I knew you were awake.”
Elena closes her eyes and exhales slowly.
“I wasn’t. Until you decided to call me.”
“Well, if you answered, that means you don’t hate me that much,” he teases.
Elena doesn’t respond right away. She turns onto her side, hugging her pillow as she focuses on the sound of his voice.
“How are you?” she finally asks, calmer now.
“Tired,” Oscar admits. “It’s weird being back here.”
She understands. They’ve both returned to the normalcy of their own lives, but nothing feels normal. Miami, Silverstone, Budapest, Spa… all those weekends together feel like a world apart. And now, here they are, separated by thousands of miles, pretending everything is the same.
“What about you?” he asks.
Elena burrows a little deeper under the blankets, a small smile on her lips.
“I did a brutal cycling route with Carlos today. Nearly died by the time we reached the mountain pass, and Carlos laughed at me.”
Oscar chuckles.
“I find that hard to believe.”
"That I almost died or that I made it to the summit?"
"That you almost died," he replies casually. "You're stronger than Carlos, and you know it."
Elena feels the warmth spreading in her chest but ignores it.
"Tell him that. He called me a 'rookie.'"
"That’s just his wounded pride talking."
She smiles, letting herself get carried away by the familiarity of the conversation. They talk about everything and nothing. He tells her about his mother’s cooking and how his dog has decided to ignore him for being away so long. She tells him how her father spent the afternoon teaching Rebecca to drive on dirt roads, with Carlos and her yelling from the back seat.
The conversation flows easily, without awkward pauses. Every time silence threatens to settle in, one of them finds something else to say. But at some point, the conversation shifts. It becomes quieter.
"I miss you," Oscar says suddenly, with a sincerity that disarms her.
Elena doesn’t answer right away. Not because she doesn’t feel the same, but because she feels too much.
"I miss you too," she murmurs at last, her voice barely a whisper in the darkness.
"It’s strange, isn’t it?" he continues. "Not seeing you every day."
Elena exhales.
"Yeah."
Another silence. This time, neither of them fills it.
Until Oscar breaks it with an idea that shouldn’t sound as crazy as it does.
"What if we meet up?"
Elena blinks, suddenly wide awake.
"What?"
"Let’s run away. Just for a few days. Just us."
She stays still, her heart pounding faster.
"That’s insane."
"A little insanity wouldn’t hurt us," he reasons. His voice is calm, but there’s something in his tone that makes her picture him with that lopsided grin, eyes squinting slightly under the Melbourne afternoon sun. "Tell me you don’t want to."
Elena bites her lip. She can’t.
She doesn’t want to.
"I can give you five days. That’s all the time Carlos will let me go without hiring a private investigator," she finally says.
Oscar smiles on the other end of the line.
"Five days."
And the next morning, Elena drops the bomb at the breakfast table. If she wants to get away with it, she has to act naturally—with the confidence of someone who has nothing to hide.
So, as she sets her plate in the sink after breakfast, she announces casually, "I’m leaving for a few days."
She knows she has everyone’s attention in less than a second.
Carlos, sitting across the table, frowns with his mouth full of toast. Their mother, standing by the coffee machine, turns with interest.
"Where to?" Carlos asks, still chewing.
Elena leans against the counter, phone in hand.
"A friend’s house on the coast."
Carlos gives her a skeptical look.
"What friend?"
"Clara."
She’s the first name that comes to mind. Their mother nods, as if that makes it all perfectly logical, but Carlos keeps staring at her with the same doubtful expression.
"Since when are you and Clara such good friends?"
Elena rolls her eyes.
"Carlos, we went to school together for ten years."
"And you haven’t seen her in four."
"Exactly. We caught up recently, and she invited me to stay for a few days."
Carlos doesn’t look convinced.
"And you’re just leaving, out of nowhere."
"Why not? It’s the summer break, I don’t have to stay here the whole time."
Carlos crosses his arms.
"Hmm."
Their mother, on the other hand, just smiles.
"Well, darling, if you want to go, go."
Carlos looks at her like he can’t believe she’s accepting the explanation so easily.
"Doesn’t that sound suspicious to you?"
"Carlos, please," their mother says, shaking her head in amusement. "It’s summer. Can’t your sister go to the beach for a few days without you interrogating her like she’s planning a heist?"
Elena smirks at Carlos before taking a sip of her coffee.
"Exactly. Thanks, Mom."
Carlos huffs but seems to give in.
"When are you leaving?"
"Early tomorrow morning."
"Uh-huh."
Carlos keeps watching her, narrowing his eyes like he’s trying to read between the lines. Elena ignores him, picking up her cup and heading for the door.
Her phone vibrates in her hand.
A message from Oscar.
"Mission accomplished?"
Elena smiles before replying.
"Obviously. Who do you think I am?"
Tumblr media
Elena doesn’t know exactly when she realizes that this—whatever it is they’re doing—is a disaster waiting to happen.
Maybe it’s when she opens her eyes that first morning in Croatia and finds Oscar already awake, his head resting in his palm, just watching her.
Or when, after spending the afternoon exploring the town, they step into a small market to buy groceries for dinner and end up arguing—far too seriously—about which kind of pasta is better.
Or maybe it’s when, without thinking too much about it, she tosses a towel at his face after her shower, and instead of complaining, he pulls it away slowly and grins like an idiot. Like this is normal. Like this isn’t something they’ll regret sooner or later.
But they don’t think about that. Or rather, they pretend not to.
The town is perfect. A hidden corner on the Croatian coast, with whitewashed stone houses, cobbled streets, and the sea glistening under the August sun. No one knows them here. No one watches them. Here, they can walk without looking over their shoulders, without worrying about cameras or curious eyes.
And so they do.
They walk along the shore, sandals in hand, letting the foam of the waves soak their ankles. They eat at a small restaurant where the owner treats them like locals. They spend the afternoon at a secluded cove, where Oscar splashes her unexpectedly, and Elena lunges at him without a second thought, sending them both crashing into the water, laughing.
They don’t talk much about what this means.
They don’t say out loud that they’re playing with fire.
They just exist.
For the first time since this all began, they are together without the pressure of the paddock, without the weight of the forbidden. They wake up tangled in white sheets, have slow breakfasts on the terrace, Oscar cooks while Elena sits on the counter, stealing bites of whatever he’s making.
It’s ridiculously domestic.
Ridiculously easy.
And that’s why, somewhere in the back of her mind, Elena knows it can’t last.
It’s their last evening together, and the sun is starting to set over the sea, painting the sky in shades of gold and orange. The heat of the day still lingers on the wooden terrace of the small house they’ve rented, where the sound of waves crashing against the rocks blends with the distant murmur of locals enjoying the evening.
Oscar absentmindedly turns the beer bottle in his hands, his gaze lost in the foam sliding down the glass. Across from him, Elena leans back in her chair, tracing the rim of her wine glass with a fingertip.
The silence between them is comfortable.
But Oscar knows he can’t leave it like this.
“I don’t want this to end when summer does.”
Elena lifts her gaze slowly, as if her thoughts were somewhere else. She blinks a couple of times before speaking.
“What do you mean?”
Oscar lets out a humorless chuckle, dropping his eyes to the table.
“I mean, I don’t want to go back to pretending this isn’t happening.”
Elena doesn’t answer right away. She leans forward, resting her elbows on the table, studying him with those eyes that always seem to know more than they say.
“I don’t know if we have a choice.”
Oscar looks up, holding her gaze.
“There’s always a choice.”
Elena sighs, running a hand through her hair before pushing her glass aside.
“Oscar…”
He shakes his head before she can continue.
“Don’t tell me it won’t work. That it’s complicated. That we have to think about Carlos, the paddock, everything else. Because I know. I’ve thought about it a million times. But what scares me more than what happens if we keep going… is what happens if we stop.”
Elena stays quiet.
For a moment, Oscar fears she won’t respond—that she’ll get up from the table, deflect with a sharp remark like she’s done so many times before.
But then, she speaks.
“If I’m being honest… I’m scared of that too.”
Oscar blinks. He wasn’t expecting her to admit it so easily.
“Yeah?”
Elena nods slowly.
“Since the season started, everything has been so intense. At first, it was just this ridiculous tension, this game. I loved getting under your skin.” She smiles a little, but there’s more nostalgia than teasing in it. “But then it became something else. Something I couldn’t control anymore.”
Oscar leans in slightly, never taking his eyes off her.
“When did you realize?”
Elena holds his gaze, and for the first time in a long time, she hesitates.
“I think… since the beginning.”
Something tightens in Oscar’s chest.
“Then why have we been avoiding it for so long?”
Elena lets out a quiet laugh, like the answer is too obvious.
“Because it was easier that way. If we ignored it, we didn’t have to face what it meant.”
Oscar watches her for a long moment. Then, with a tired smile, he says,
“Falling for you was too easy.”
Elena drops her gaze for a second before looking up again, her expression knocking the air out of his lungs.
“Falling for you was too easy, too.”
The world seems to stop.
Oscar feels a tingling in his skin, like his body is trying to process what he just heard.
“Elena…”
But she keeps going.
"I didn’t want to accept it," she says quietly. "Because I was scared. Because if this ends, I don’t know how we go back to being the same. I don’t know how I’ll look at you without it hurting."
Oscar takes her hand across the table. Their fingers fit together like they were made for it.
"I don’t want this to end."
Elena tightens her grip, not letting go.
"Me neither."
They stay like that for a moment, in silence, with the sun setting behind them and the sound of the ocean filling the empty spaces.
Until Elena breaks the calm.
"So… what do we do now?"
Oscar exhales slowly.
"We can’t keep hiding forever."
Elena nods.
"Carlos won’t accept it."
"Not right away, no."
"I don’t want him to find out from someone else."
Oscar lets out a dry laugh.
"Well, it’s not like we’ve been very subtle."
Elena rolls her eyes.
"That’s your fault."
Oscar raises an eyebrow.
"Excuse me?"
"You’re the one who looks at me like—" She stops herself, and Oscar grins.
"Like what?"
She meets his gaze, unyielding.
"Like you physically can’t not look at me."
Oscar leans in slightly, closing the space between them. His voice is a murmur.
"Like you matter too much."
Elena narrows her eyes.
"Too much?"
He shakes his head, a smile on his face.
"Meh, not enough."
And then, without thinking, without hesitating for a second longer, he kisses her.
Tumblr media
The morning sun bathes the town in that golden warmth that only exists on vacation. The breeze smells of salt and freshly baked bread, and the cobblestones beneath their feet radiate the accumulated heat of previous days. Oscar and Elena walk aimlessly, slipping between market stalls, weaving through café terraces, blending into the crowd of people who live here without knowing that, for them, this is their last day of reprieve.
Tomorrow, everything goes back to normal. Tomorrow, they return to their lives. Tomorrow, the distance.
But today, today is still theirs.
Elena stops in front of a small flower stall, leaning over the tin buckets filled with sunflowers and lavender. The vendor, an elderly man with a white mustache, smiles when he sees her interest.
“For you, take one as a gift.” He plucks a sprig of lavender and offers it to her.
Elena smiles and accepts it with a small nod. Oscar watches her, saying nothing, caught in that quiet awe that sometimes overtakes him when he looks at her for too long.
He still doesn’t understand how he got here—how he ended up in a small Croatian coastal town, watching Elena pick flowers under the sun, holding her hand like the rest of the world doesn’t exist.
She turns to him and tucks the lavender behind his ear with a teasing smile.
“There. Now you smell nice.”
Oscar rolls his eyes but doesn’t take it off.
They keep walking, unrushed, savoring the morning. They pass an ice cream shop, and Elena suddenly craves pistachio gelato. Oscar buys one for her, and as always, she offers him the first bite. It’s a simple, silly gesture, but it leaves a warmth in his chest.
They stroll to the town square, where a fountain with crystal-clear water sparkles, and children run around, laughing. They sit on the edge, sharing the ice cream, carrying the easy carelessness of people who believe the day will stretch on forever.
Oscar doesn’t know how long they’ve been there, only that, at some point, Elena rests her head on his shoulder, and he closes his eyes, letting himself drift.
And then, the peace shatters.
“WHAT THE FUCK?!”
Oscar feels his entire body go rigid.
No.
No.
No way.
But yes.
Carlos Sainz stands at the other end of the square, frozen in place, his jaw slack, his eyes nearly bulging out of their sockets. Beside him, his girlfriend Rebecca has a hand over her mouth, but from the way her shoulders shake, it’s clear she’s holding back laughter.
Oscar doesn’t dare move.
He knows Carlos has already connected the dots.
The pistachio ice cream drips slowly between his fingers, melting.
Elena, still resting her head on his shoulder, exhales deeply before murmuring,
“Well… the odds of this happening were pretty low.”
Oscar swallows hard.
Carlos blinks several times, as if trying to reboot his brain. Then he looks at Oscar. Then at Elena. Then at their intertwined hands. Then back at Oscar.
Oscar sees the exact moment reality slams into him.
Carlos blinks. Takes a deep breath. And explodes.
“ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!”
Elena, calm as ever, straightens her posture and stretches as if this is the most normal thing in the world.
“Carlos.”
“CARLOS?! JUST ‘CARLOS’?! HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?!”
“Don’t shout.”
“I’M NOT SHOUTING!”
“Yes, you are.”
“I AM ABSOLUTELY SHOUTING!”
Oscar is too paralyzed to intervene. He feels like a deer caught in headlights.
Elena gets to her feet with an exasperated sigh, like she’s dealing with a tantrum-throwing child.
“What are you doing here, Carlos?”
“I SHOULD BE ASKING YOU THAT! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? AND WHY THE HELL ARE YOU WITH HIM?” Carlos gestures wildly toward Oscar, like he’s some inanimate object instead of a person with a name.
Oscar opens his mouth to say something—anything—but no words come out.
“I’m on vacation. Just like you,” Elena replies, completely unfazed.
Carlos looks about ready to combust.
“With him?”
“Yes.”
Oscar wants to disappear.
Carlos points an accusing finger at him.
“YOU!”
Oscar instinctively straightens.
“Me?”
“YES, YOU! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING WITH MY SISTER?!”
Oscar opens his mouth. Closes it. Opens it again.
“Uh…”
“‘UH’ WHAT?!”
Elena sighs.
“Carlos, seriously, can you drop the dramatics?”
“IT’S NOT DRAMATICS! IT’S A VERY SERIOUS QUESTION!”
Rebecca finally decides to step in, placing a gentle hand on Carlos’s arm.
“Babe, breathe.”
“I DON’T WANT TO BREATHE!”
“Well, you should.”
Carlos lets out an angry huff but at least shuts his mouth.
Elena crosses her arms, raising an eyebrow.
“Are you done?”
Carlos scowls.
“No.”
“Let me know when you are.”
“WHAT THE FUCK?!”

𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝘼𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚, 𝙈𝙮 𝘼𝙨𝙨
summary: The bunny theory is debunked!
characters: bunny! reader, slytherin boys
warnings: none! just clingy bunny reader with her bf

The Slytherin common room was relatively peaceful for once. A rare thing, considering the usual chaos that surrounded the boys like a storm cloud. But today, there was no bickering, no arguments over whose turn it was to copy Theo’s homework, and no Blaise sighing in disappointment at the sheer idiocy of his friends.
Instead, the only sound was the soft scratch of Enzo flipping through a book, Theo absentmindedly shuffling his deck of exploding snap cards, and Mattheo lounging on the couch-his head tilted back against the cushions, hand lazily stroking the tiny, fluffy bunny curled up on his chest.
Bunny, in her animagus form, was completely melted against him, her small body rising and falling with each of his breaths. If she moved at all, it was just to burrow deeper into Mattheo’s hoodie, as if trying to merge into him entirely.
“Hey,” Enzo suddenly snorted, breaking the silence. “This book says rabbits aren’t that affectionate.”
Theo, barely looking up from his cards, hummed. “What?”
Enzo tapped the page. “Says here that rabbits don’t like being held too much. They prefer their own space, aren’t clingy, and don’t need constant attention.”
There was a beat of silence before Mattheo let out the loudest, most unamused scoff.
“That’s bullshit.”
Enzo blinked up at him. “Mate, I’m literally reading it from a book-”
Mattheo gestured aggressively to the tiny ball of fur plastered against his chest like a heat-seeking missile.
“Does this look like an animal that ‘prefers their own space’ to you?”
As if to further prove his point, Bunny shifted, stretching her little paws before snuggling even deeper into Mattheo’s hoodie, her tiny nose twitching against the fabric.
Draco, amused, finally put his book down. “To be fair, she is kind of obsessed with you.”
Mattheo smirked, scratching behind her ears like it was second nature. “Damn right she is.”
Theo chuckled. “Face it, Enzo. Bunny’s an exception to every rule. That, or she imprinted on Mattheo like a baby duck.”
Blaise raised a brow. “Honestly, we should be more concerned about how often she’s with him. I can’t remember the last time I saw them apart.”
Enzo frowned. “Wait… yeah. When has she ever not been stuck to him?”
Draco smirked, leaning forward. “You should see them in class. Bunny always sits next to him. Always.”
Theo laughed. “That’s nothing. You should see her at meals-she eats off his plate more than her own.”
Enzo’s eyes widened. “Wait, I thought she just did that to annoy him?”
Mattheo snorted. “She steals my food. Every single time. And I let her.”
Blaise nodded. “Yeah, that’s love, mate.”
“Oh, oh!” Theo grinned. “What about how she clings to his arm when we’re walking? If he stops moving, she just stumbles into him because she refuses to let go.”
Enzo laughed. “And when she’s not holding onto him, she’s following behind him like a shadow.”
Mattheo rolled his eyes, though the fond smirk on his lips betrayed him. “Yeah, and when I disappear for more than five minutes, she comes looking for me.”
“She actually did that last week,” Draco added. “You left the common room, and she got up after two minutes, like, ‘Where’s Mattheo?’”
Blaise smirked. “And if she’s not in her human form, she’s in his hoodie as a bunny.”
At this, everyone turned to look at the tiny ball of fluff currently nestled against Mattheo’s chest.
“Case in point,” Theo said, gesturing.
Enzo scoffed. “How does that not annoy you?”
Mattheo just shrugged, still stroking Bunny’s fur. “It’s warm. I think she likes hearing my heartbeat or something.”
Draco let out a chuckle. “Honestly, I don’t know how you deal with it.”
Mattheo’s smirk widened as he scratched behind Bunny’s ears, watching as she gave a sleepy twitch. “I don’t deal with it. I enjoy it.”
Theo and Enzo groaned.
Blaise rolled his eyes. “You’re ridiculous.”
Mattheo just smirked. “You’re all just jealous.”
Enzo huffed. “I’m not jealous-I just don’t understand how a bunny can be this clingy.”
Theo smirked. “That means the whole ‘rabbits aren’t affectionate’ thing is officially debunked.”
Mattheo just smirked, running a gentle hand down Bunny’s back. “Not affectionate, my ass.”

Tumblr media
Haruka Sakura loves eating you out but he’s too damn shy to ask most of the time. You have to make it obvious you want it too, pushing his head down while you’re making out on his bed.
“Want to feel your tongue, Haru,” you tell him, an ounce of begging in your voice. “Please.”
His face goes beet red but he obliges, hiding his blushing cheeks by pressing kisses against your stomach and thighs. The first time Sakura went down on you, he was a mess – he tried his best, but he didn’t know what he was doing and the pressure of wanting to make you feel good nearly made his head explode.
Still, Sakura’s always open to gentle instruction and you let him know exactly what to do. Now, as he presses the flat of his tongue against your clit, one finger pressing inside your hole, he knows exactly how to make you cum.
You lie back with a content sigh and your boyfriend deftly laps at your sensitive bud, your fingers tangled in his two-tone hair. When you look down at see his gold and black eyes looking back at you, intent and hungry, it sets off butterflies in your stomach.
Sakura sucks on your clit with the exact pressure you like as his finger strokes against the sensitive bundle of nerves inside you. You’re a sopping mess before long, moaning and gasping his name. Sakura swears he could listen to you like this all day.
Yeah, it might have taken him a couple attempts but god, can he make you cum.
Tumblr media
Ren Kaji loves how helpless you get when he eats you out.
Yeah, he loves the taste of you and he loves making you cum, but he loves the control he has over getting you there the most. To Kaji, it’s a marathon, not a sprint.
He especially likes it when you’re trying to concentrate on something else. Like now, when you’re at the desk in your bedroom, trying to study. Kaji had been on your bed as you both sat in companiable silence, the way you both like to do. But when he looked up from his phone and saw the adorable notch between your brow and the way you nibbled at the top of your pencil, he couldn’t help himself.
Kaji tugs off his headphones and stands, crossing the space between you. You’re so absorbed in your study, you don’t realise he’s there until his sucker appears before you.
“Oh. Thanks, Ren,” you say before opening your mouth and taking it.
“I’ll get in a back in a bit.”
You don’t register what he means until he crawls under the desk, making space between your thighs.
“What- Ah!”
You gasp as you feel his tongue against your clothed pussy, wet and hot. You go to wheel your chair backwards but Kaji has a firm hold of the wheels, locking you in place.
“Just keep going, babe,” he mumbles from between your legs.
You’re not sure how you’re supposed to do that when Kaji’s thick tongue pushes past your panties to lick at your folds. You take a deep breathe and try to steady your thumping heart. It’s fine, you tell yourself. I can still concentrate.
You try to refocus your eyes on the paper in front of you but the words are scrambled. Kaji takes his time, lazily swirling his tongue over your clit before sucking on your lips. His sucker rattles over your teeth as your mouth falls open, a sigh escaping.
“R-Ren,” you stammer. “I need to – ah – study.”
“I’m not stopping you,” Kaji says before lapping at your clit.
The sweet sounds you make are the only thing that makes not wearing his headphones bearable. You reach down under the desk and card your fingers through his hair, tugging at the root. You angle your hips slightly giving him better access. Kaji uses the opportunity to slide his tongue into your hole, tasting your arousal.
You’ve totally given up on studying, your thighs locking around his head as Kaji brings you close to orgasm but not quite reaching it. You’re impatient and whiny, your hips bucking for more friction against his mouth but Kaji holds back slightly.
Kaji isn’t in any hurry – he wants this to take as long as possible. He knows when you’re dripping and so, so needy, it’ll be worth it.
Tumblr media
Hajime Umemiya would live between your legs if he could. Whether it’s his cock or his face that’s buried in your pussy, he doesn’t care. As long as he’s close to you, he’s happy.
That’s why it’s one of his favourite ways to wake you up.
You look so angelic when he wakes up next to you, sleeping soundly on his chest. Umemiya presses gentle kisses to your forehead and cheeks until your stir but you’re not quite awake yet.
“Shh, it’s okay, angel,” he says quietly. “I’ll take care of you.”
Umemiya carefully rolls you onto your back, nestling himself between your legs. Your thighs spread automatically for him, which makes him smile and kiss your inner thigh.
“You’re such a good girl for me,” he praises.
You’re both still naked from the night before and Umemiya is pleased there’s no obstacles between you, no physical barriers between your bodies. He loves the intimacy he gets to share with you.
Softly, he licks a stripe from your hole to your clit, watching for your reaction. You stir again slightly so he licks another stripe. Deeper this time before circling your sensitive bud.
“Mmm,” you moan lightly, still mostly asleep.
Umemiya finds your hands next to you and intertwines his fingers with yours as he continues to make out with your puffy cunt. His mouth is flush with your pussy as he strokes the flat of his tongue across your clit.
“H…Haji…?” Your voice is thick with sleep but your body is responding on its own, your hips grinding against Umemiya’s mouth.
“Good morning, angel,” he pulls back slightly to say before planting another wet kiss against your clit.
“Good… ah!  Good morning, Haji.” You smile down at him, squeezing your fingers between his. “That feels so good.”
Umemiya moans into your pussy, his tongue picking up speed to a pace he knows you like. You gasp and throw your head back against the pillow, fully awake now.
And god, what a way to wake up.

X-Men x Reader (Part.1)
They accidentally hurt you (Part.1)
You're accidentally hurt during a moment of loss of control by your powerful partners
Characters: Logan Howlett, Remy LeBeau, Kurt Wagner, Scott Summers, Erik Lehnsherr, Bobby Drake, Wade Wilson, Warren Worthington III, Jean Grey & Rogue
Tumblr media
Logan Howlett (Wolverine)
It happened so fast you barely registered the pain. One minute you were training with Logan in the Danger Room, sparring as usual, the two of you enjoying the playful back-and-forth of dodging each other's hits. Logan was holding back, as he always did, but that wild intensity still gleamed in his eyes—a part of him that would never fully shut off. You loved that about him. But then, in a split second, something shifted. His movements were too fast, too fierce. Before you could react, his claws were out, and the sharp edge caught your arm.
You gasped as a searing pain shot through your body, clutching your arm as you stumbled back. Blood dripped down your skin, the deep cut immediately soaking through your sleeve. For a moment, Logan just stood there, wide-eyed, his breath caught in his throat. The claws retracted instantly, and you saw the horror in his face as he processed what he had done.
“Darlin’… oh God, no. I didn’t mean—” His voice was rough, like gravel, choked with disbelief and panic. He was on you in a second, dropping to his knees beside you and gently taking your arm in his hands, careful not to hurt you further. You winced at the touch, but the pain wasn’t what hurt most. It was the look on Logan’s face—like he had broken something irreplaceable between you.
“I’m fine,” you whispered, though your voice was shaky. “It was an accident.”
But Logan wasn’t hearing it. His hands trembled as he held your arm, his head lowered like he was ashamed to even look at you. “I should’ve been more careful. Damn it, Y/N. I never should’ve… I should’ve known better.”
You reached out with your free hand, cupping his rough, scruffy cheek to make him look at you. “Logan, it’s okay. You didn’t mean to. I know you’d never hurt me on purpose.”
But the guilt in his eyes didn’t fade. His jaw tightened, and for a moment, you thought he might pull away, retreat back into that place he went when he was ashamed of himself, afraid of losing control. But instead, he leaned into your touch, closing his eyes as if drawing strength from you. “I can’t lose you, Y/N,” he muttered. “I can’t… I couldn’t live with myself if I did.”
You smiled softly, despite the throbbing pain in your arm. “You won’t. I’m right here, Logan. Always.”
His eyes opened, and in them, you saw the raw vulnerability that he so rarely let anyone see. He pulled you close, his arms wrapping around you carefully, protectively. “I’ll fix this,” he whispered into your hair, his voice thick with emotion. “I’ll make it right.”
And in that moment, as you leaned into his embrace, you knew he would.
Tumblr media
Remy LeBeau (Gambit)
It started as a typical night in the mansion—Remy was showing off as usual, flicking cards across the room with that charming grin of his, teasing you with sly winks. You sat on the couch, amused but unimpressed, knowing his routine far too well by now. But you loved watching him in his element, loved the way his eyes lit up with that mischievous energy whenever he was around you. It was intoxicating.
“Y’know, chérie, if you keep lookin’ at me like that, I might have to take you out for another round of cards.” His voice dripped with playful flirtation as he tossed another charged card into the air.
You rolled your eyes, leaning back on the couch. “Remy, you know I always beat you.”
He laughed, and in that moment, he flicked his wrist to toss another card—except this time, something went wrong. Maybe he misjudged the charge, or maybe it was just bad luck, but the card shot towards you too fast, too charged, and before you could react, it exploded with a small burst of kinetic energy right in front of you.
The force knocked you off the couch, sending you tumbling onto the floor with a sharp yelp of pain. Your arm burned where the blast had hit, and you groaned as you tried to sit up, clutching the now-aching limb.
“Y/N!” Remy’s voice was filled with panic as he rushed to your side, dropping to his knees beside you. His hands hovered over you, unsure where to touch, as if he was afraid of hurting you more. “Chérie, I’m so sorry, I didn’t—God, I didn’t mean to do that.”
You winced, blinking back tears as you pressed a hand to your arm. “It’s okay, Remy… just a little burn. I’ll live.”
But Remy wasn’t having any of it. His normally cocky expression was gone, replaced with genuine worry as he gently helped you sit up. “Let me see,” he said softly, carefully pulling your hand away from the burn on your arm. His fingers were gentle as they inspected the damage, his eyes dark with regret. “Merde, I didn’t mean to hurt you. I’d never hurt you, you know that, right?”
You nodded, offering him a small smile despite the pain. “I know. It was an accident.”
But he still looked haunted, his jaw tight as he gingerly cradled your arm. “Still… I should’ve been more careful. Should’ve been payin’ more attention.”
You placed your other hand on his chest, feeling the steady thump of his heart beneath your palm. “Remy, really, I’m okay. It’s not that bad.”
He let out a shaky breath, his shoulders slumping with relief, though the guilt still lingered in his eyes. “I don’t deserve you, chérie,” he muttered, leaning in to press a soft kiss to your forehead. “You’re too good to me.”
You chuckled, wincing slightly at the movement. “You better believe it.”
But even as you tried to make light of it, Remy’s hands never left your skin, as if he needed to feel that you were still there, still with him. And in that moment, you knew that no matter what, he would always be there to protect you—even from himself.
Tumblr media
Kurt Wagner (Nightcrawler)
You had always loved watching Kurt move—the way he seemed to dance across the air, teleporting with ease, his body a blur of grace and power. You were training together, and though you weren’t nearly as agile as him, you tried your best to keep up, determined to prove that you could hold your own.
But then, in a blink, Kurt disappeared—teleporting just out of your reach as you swung your fist. You spun around, ready to block him when he reappeared, but you miscalculated, and before you could react, his tail whipped out, striking you in the ribs with more force than he intended.
The air was knocked out of you, and you stumbled back, clutching your side as pain radiated through your body. You gasped for breath, wincing as you sank to the ground, your chest heaving.
“Y/N!” Kurt’s voice was frantic, and in an instant, he was kneeling beside you, his golden eyes wide with panic. “Oh mein Gott, I didn’t mean—are you hurt?”
You couldn’t speak for a moment, too focused on catching your breath, but when you finally looked up at him, you saw the sheer horror on his face. He reached out, his hand trembling as he gently touched your side, where his tail had struck you. “I’m so sorry. I should have been more careful.”
You tried to smile, though the pain made it difficult. “It’s okay, Kurt. You didn’t mean to.”
His brow furrowed, his eyes filled with guilt as he gently helped you sit up. “I never wanted to hurt you. I’m so sorry.”
You leaned into him, resting your head against his shoulder as you caught your breath. “I know. It was an accident. I’ll be fine.”
But Kurt shook his head, his tail curling around your waist in a protective gesture. “I should have been more gentle. I forget how strong I am sometimes.”
You chuckled softly, wincing at the pain in your ribs. “I think you forget that you’re not the only one with superpowers.”
He smiled weakly, his hand cupping your cheek as he pressed a soft kiss to your forehead. “Ja, but I’m supposed to protect you. Not hurt you.”
You sighed, leaning into his touch. “You do protect me. Every day.”
Kurt’s golden eyes softened, and he wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close. “I will never let anything happen to you, Y/N. I swear it.”
And as you rested in his embrace, the pain in your ribs forgotten for the moment, you knew that no matter what, Kurt would always be there for you—his love for you stronger than any force in the world.
Tumblr media
Scott Summers (Cyclops)
The sun had just started to set, casting an orange glow across the grounds of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. You and Scott were outside, sparring as part of your usual training routine. Scott was always serious when it came to training, which you both admired and found frustrating at times. He had such control over his abilities, never letting his optic blasts get out of hand—except today, something was off. He was more intense than usual, perhaps trying to push you to your limits, or maybe his mind was somewhere else.
You dodged a series of his blasts, your body fluid and graceful as you maneuvered across the field. You were teasing him lightly, enjoying the way his focus made him that much more determined. “Come on, Summers, is that all you’ve got?” you called out, your smile playful, though your heart raced with the thrill of the challenge.
Scott’s jaw clenched in response, his visor glowing red as he prepared to shoot another blast. You saw the energy build in his eyes, felt the air shift around you. But something went wrong. The blast was too powerful, larger than any you’d seen him use in training, and before you could react, the beam struck you hard in the chest, sending you flying backward across the field.
The pain hit you instantly, searing through your body as you hit the ground with a force that knocked the wind out of you. You gasped, clutching your chest, the world spinning around you as you tried to process what had just happened. You could barely breathe, the shock and pain overwhelming your senses.
“Y/N!” Scott’s voice was filled with panic, and within moments, he was by your side, falling to his knees as he reached for you. His visor dimmed as he tried to assess the damage, his hands hovering over your body, afraid to touch you in case he hurt you more. “I’m so sorry, I—God, I didn’t mean to. Are you okay?”
You tried to respond, but the words caught in your throat, a sharp pain running through your chest with every breath. Scott’s eyes were wild with fear behind his visor, his face pale as he gently touched your arm, his fingers trembling.
“I lost control,” he whispered, his voice thick with guilt. “I wasn’t paying attention. I didn’t… I didn’t mean to hurt you.”
You managed to shake your head, your breathing shallow as you tried to reassure him. “I know… it was an accident, Scott.”
But Scott wasn’t listening. His hands moved to your shoulders, carefully pulling you into his arms, cradling you as if you were made of glass. “I should have been more careful. I should have… I could have killed you.”
Tears stung at your eyes, both from the pain and from seeing him like this—so afraid, so broken. You reached up, placing a hand on his cheek, feeling the stubble beneath your fingers. “I’m okay,” you whispered, though the words came out weak. “I’m okay, Scott.”
But he shook his head, his grip on you tightening slightly as if he was afraid you would slip away from him. “I can’t lose you, Y/N. I can’t… I won’t let anything happen to you again.”
You smiled weakly, resting your head against his chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart beneath your ear. “You won’t. I’m still here.”
And as he held you close, his heart pounding with fear and love, you knew that Scott would never forgive himself for this, even though you already had. He would spend the rest of his life making sure you were safe, even if it meant holding back from the one thing he feared the most—losing control.
Tumblr media
Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto)
The battlefield was chaos, metal flying through the air as Erik used his powers to dismantle the enemy’s weapons, tearing through their defenses with a fury that left you breathless. You fought alongside him, your movements sharp and precise as you took down opponent after opponent, the two of you moving like a well-oiled machine. But in the midst of the battle, something went wrong—something that neither of you saw coming.
Erik was focused, his hands outstretched as he bent the metal around him to his will. You were too close, though, too caught up in the fight to notice how close you had drifted to his range of control. Suddenly, a piece of sharp metal flew toward you, faster than you could react. It struck you in the side, tearing through your skin with a force that knocked you to the ground.
The pain was immediate, white-hot and searing through your body as you gasped for air, clutching your side where blood had already begun to pool. You tried to move, but the pain was too much, your vision blurring as you struggled to stay conscious.
“Y/N!” Erik’s voice cut through the noise of battle, filled with a panic you had never heard from him before. In an instant, the metal around you dropped to the ground as he rushed to your side, falling to his knees beside you. His hands hovered over the wound, his face pale as he tried to assess the damage. “Oh, no… no, no, no. I didn’t mean to… I didn’t see you.”
You groaned, the pain making it hard to focus as you looked up at him, his face twisted with guilt and fear. “Erik… I’m fine,” you managed to choke out, though you knew it wasn’t true.
He shook his head, his hands pressing down gently on the wound in a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding. “This is my fault,” he muttered, his voice thick with self-loathing. “I should have been more careful. I never should have let you get this close.”
You winced, reaching up to touch his face, your fingers brushing against his cheek. “Erik… it was an accident.”
But he wasn’t hearing you. His eyes were dark with regret, his jaw clenched as he tried to control the rising panic in his chest. “No,” he said softly, his voice barely above a whisper. “I should have protected you.”
Tears stung at your eyes as you watched him, the man who had always been so strong, so sure of himself, now broken and afraid. You could see the fear in his eyes, the fear of losing you, of not being able to save you this time. “You did,” you whispered, your voice weak. “You always do.”
He shook his head again, his hands trembling as he continued to press against the wound, his heart pounding in his chest. “I won’t let you die,” he muttered, his voice filled with a desperation you had never heard from him before. “I won’t.”
And as you lay there in his arms, the pain slowly fading away as darkness crept in at the edges of your vision, you knew that Erik would move heaven and earth to save you. But in that moment, all you could do was hold onto him, knowing that no matter what happened, you were loved.
Tumblr media
Bobby Drake (Iceman)
You and Bobby had always been a team, whether it was on the battlefield or just in life. His easygoing nature balanced out your more serious demeanor, and together, you were unstoppable. Today was no different—you were fighting alongside the X-Men, taking down the latest threat to mutantkind with the precision of a well-practiced team.
But in the heat of battle, accidents happen. Bobby had just formed an ice slide, using it to send an opponent flying across the battlefield when he lost control for just a split second. The slide shifted, sending a sharp shard of ice flying toward you. You didn’t see it coming until it was too late.
The ice struck your leg, cutting deep into the muscle and sending you crashing to the ground with a cry of pain. The cold immediately numbed the area, but the pain was still there, sharp and unrelenting as you clutched your leg, trying to stop the bleeding.
Bobby’s heart stopped the moment he saw you fall. “Y/N!” He was at your side in an instant, his face pale with shock and guilt. His hands hovered over the wound, his breath coming in short, panicked bursts. “I didn’t—God, I didn’t mean to. I’m so sorry.”
You winced, trying to push through the pain as you looked up at him. “Bobby, it’s okay… just an accident.”
But Bobby wasn’t listening. His hands were shaking as he tried to freeze the wound, slowing the bleeding with his powers. “I should’ve been more careful,” he muttered, his voice thick with guilt. “I should’ve been paying more attention.”
You groaned, your leg throbbing as the ice numbed the pain. “Bobby, it’s fine. It’s not that bad.”
But Bobby wasn’t convinced. His blue eyes were filled with fear as he carefully wrapped his arms around you, lifting you off the ground with ease. “I’m taking you back to the mansion,” he said firmly, his voice trembling slightly. “We’re getting you patched up.”
You didn’t argue, the pain too much for you to resist as you leaned into his embrace. “Okay,” you whispered, your head resting against his chest as he carried you away from the battlefield.
And as you drifted in and out of consciousness, you could feel the guilt radiating off of him, the fear that he had hurt you, even though you knew it was an accident. But in that moment, all you could do was hold onto him, knowing that no matter what happened, Bobby would always be there to protect you.
Tumblr media
Wade Wilson (Deadpool)
You’ve always known that being with Wade came with a certain level of risk. Sure, he was fun, witty, and had a charm that kept you laughing no matter what—but he was also chaotic, reckless, and had an unhealthy obsession with danger. You loved him for all of it. Even the crazy stunts that had your heart in your throat. But this time… things went too far.
It was supposed to be a simple mission. Wade had assured you of that when he convinced you to join him. “Come on, babe, it’ll be a piece of cake,” he’d said with a grin. “Just a few bad guys, a few guns, and then we’re out. Easy peasy!”
Of course, nothing with Wade is ever “easy peasy.”
You were both knee-deep in a firefight, bullets flying around you as Wade expertly sliced through enemies with his katanas, making sarcastic comments with every swing. You were holding your own, taking down attackers with precision, trusting Wade to watch your back like always. But as the fight escalated, so did Wade’s recklessness.
He was laughing, spinning through the air with a grenade in hand, yelling something about “making it rain” before tossing it toward a group of enemies. Except… it wasn’t just the enemies in the blast radius.
You saw the grenade land just a few feet away from where you were crouched behind cover. Time seemed to slow as realization hit. The explosion was deafening, the force of it sending you flying backward, crashing hard into the concrete wall behind you. Pain exploded through your body, a sharp, burning sensation spreading from your side where the shrapnel had torn through your skin.
The world around you blurred, the sounds of battle fading as you gasped for breath, clutching your side as blood seeped between your fingers. You could barely move, your limbs heavy, the pain overwhelming every sense.
“Y/N!” Wade’s voice cut through the haze, suddenly filled with panic. Within seconds, he was kneeling beside you, his usual carefree attitude gone, replaced with genuine fear. His hands hovered over you, shaking as he tried to figure out what to do. “Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit… babe, I… I didn’t… I didn’t mean to—”
You tried to speak, but the words wouldn’t come, your chest tightening with every breath. Wade’s face twisted with guilt and fear, his mask pushed up just enough to reveal the raw emotion on his face. He pressed his hands against the wound, trying to stop the bleeding, but he was shaking too much to be effective.
“Don’t you die on me, Y/N,” he muttered, his voice trembling. “Don’t you dare. I swear I’ll kill everyone here if you—if you don’t…”
You reached up, managing to brush your fingers against his cheek. “Wade…” you whispered, your voice barely audible. “It’s okay…”
“It’s not okay!” Wade shouted, his voice cracking. “I—God, I’m such an idiot! I should’ve been more careful! I never should’ve—”
Tears stung your eyes as you watched him, the man who never took anything seriously, now completely falling apart because of you. You knew he blamed himself, even though you didn’t. It was an accident, a risk that came with being with someone like him. But seeing him like this, so afraid of losing you, broke your heart.
“I’m sorry,” Wade whispered, his voice barely above a whisper now. “I’m so sorry, baby.”
You squeezed his hand weakly, managing a small smile through the pain. “I’m still here, Wade.”
And as the world around you faded into darkness, you held onto that small bit of reassurance—that no matter how reckless he was, Wade Wilson loved you more than anything. And he’d fight to the ends of the earth to keep you safe.
Tumblr media
Warren Worthington III (Angel)
Flying with Warren had always been one of your favorite things. There was something freeing about soaring through the sky with him, the wind rushing through your hair as you clung to his warm, muscular frame. His wings, beautiful and powerful, were like an extension of him—graceful, protective, and strong.
You trusted Warren implicitly. He’d never let you fall before, always keeping you close to him when you flew together. But today, something went wrong. It was supposed to be just another evening flight, the two of you escaping the chaos of the world below to find solace in the clouds. You had no idea it would end the way it did.
You were high up, the city below you nothing more than a blur of lights. Warren held you close as he flew, his arms wrapped around you, his wings beating rhythmically as you both enjoyed the peaceful moment. But suddenly, there was a shift in the air, and Warren’s hold on you loosened.
You gasped as you felt yourself slip from his grasp, your heart lurching in your chest as you plummeted toward the ground below. The wind roared in your ears, and for a split second, you thought this was it—that you were going to die.
But then Warren was there, his arms catching you just before you hit the ground, his wings flaring out as he desperately tried to slow your fall. You hit the ground hard, pain exploding through your body as you landed awkwardly on your side, your breath knocked out of you. The world spun around you as you groaned in pain, clutching your ribs where the impact had been the worst.
“Y/N!” Warren’s voice was filled with panic as he knelt beside you, his wings folding back as he reached for you. His hands hovered over you, unsure of where to touch without hurting you more. “Oh God, I—are you okay? I didn’t mean to… I lost my grip, I… I’m so sorry.”
You winced, trying to breathe through the pain, but each breath was a struggle. “Warren… I’m okay,” you managed to choke out, though the pain said otherwise.
Warren’s face twisted with guilt, his usually calm and composed demeanor shattered as he looked at you. “No, you’re not,” he muttered, his voice thick with self-loathing. “I should’ve been more careful. I never should’ve… I almost…”
Tears stung at your eyes as you watched him, the man who always seemed so invincible, now broken and afraid because of what he’d done. You knew he blamed himself, even though you didn’t. It was an accident, something that could’ve happened to anyone. But seeing him like this—so shaken, so vulnerable—made your heart ache.
“I’ve got you,” Warren whispered, his voice trembling as he carefully pulled you into his arms, cradling you against his chest. “I’m not letting go again. I swear.”
You leaned into him, your body aching but your heart full as you listened to his heartbeat, strong and steady beneath you. “I know,” you whispered, closing your eyes as the pain slowly began to fade. “I trust you, Warren.”
And as he held you close, his wings wrapping around you protectively, you knew that no matter what happened, Warren would never let anything hurt you again. Not even himself.
Tumblr media
Jean Grey (Phoenix)
Being with Jean was like being wrapped in warmth and light, the love you shared radiating between you in ways that went beyond the physical. Her telepathy meant that she always knew what you were thinking, what you were feeling, and that connection made your bond stronger than you ever thought possible.
But sometimes, her powers were unpredictable. Sometimes, when her emotions got the best of her, things would slip.
It had been a stressful day for Jean. The team had just come back from a difficult mission, and you could feel the weight of it bearing down on her. You tried to comfort her, to be there for her like you always were, but Jean was lost in her own head, overwhelmed by the flood of thoughts and emotions around her.
"Jean," you called softly, stepping closer to her as she stood in the center of the room, her arms crossed tightly over her chest. "Talk to me."
She didn't respond at first, her eyes closed as she tried to quiet the noise in her mind. You could feel the tension rolling off of her in waves, and you knew something was wrong. Before you could say anything else, though, Jean's eyes snapped open, glowing faintly with the power of the Phoenix that lived within her.
"Y/N, I—" she started, her voice shaking, but before she could finish, a surge of telekinetic energy burst from her, slamming into you without warning.
The force sent you flying across the room, your body colliding hard with the wall before crumpling to the floor. Pain shot through your spine as you gasped for breath, struggling to make sense of what had just happened. Your vision blurred for a moment, the edges darkening as you fought to stay conscious.
"Y/N!" Jean's voice was filled with horror as she rushed to your side, her telekinetic powers immediately pulling you into her arms before you could fall any further. "Oh God, I didn’t mean to—I didn’t—"
You groaned, clutching your side where the pain was the worst, but you forced yourself to look up at her. Her face was pale, her eyes wide and brimming with tears, her hands trembling as she held you.
"Jean…" you whispered, your voice weak as the pain pulsed through you. "It's… it's okay."
She shook her head violently, tears spilling down her cheeks. "No, it's not! I hurt you! I—my powers—I lost control and—" Her voice cracked as she choked back a sob, her grip tightening around you. "I’m so sorry, Y/N. I didn't mean to…"
You reached up, brushing your fingers against her cheek. "I know. I know you didn’t mean to."
Jean closed her eyes, her tears falling onto your skin as she leaned into your touch. "I can’t… I can’t lose control like that," she whispered. "I can't risk hurting you. I love you too much…"
You smiled weakly, your thumb gently wiping away her tears. "Jean, I trust you. You’re the strongest person I know. And I know you’d never hurt me on purpose."
She opened her eyes, looking down at you with so much love and pain in her gaze that it made your heart ache. "I’m scared," she admitted, her voice trembling. "What if I can’t control it next time? What if the Phoenix—"
You shook your head, cutting her off. "We’ll figure it out. Together. You don’t have to do this alone, Jean."
Jean let out a shaky breath, her arms wrapping around you protectively as she held you close, her forehead resting against yours. "Thank you," she whispered. "I don’t deserve you."
You smiled, your hand resting against her chest, feeling the steady beat of her heart beneath your palm. "Yes, you do. You always have."
Tumblr media
Rogue (Anna Marie)
Loving Rogue was like holding a flame in your hands—beautiful, intense, and dangerous. But you had never feared her. Not once. Despite her worries about her powers, despite the distance she tried to put between you for your own safety, you had never doubted that you could make this work. You loved her, and she loved you, and that was all that mattered.
Still, Rogue was always afraid that one day, her powers would get out of control. And today, her fear became reality.
You were in the training room, helping her practice her control, something you did often. It wasn’t an official Danger Room session, just the two of you. Rogue had been getting better, learning to control her skin’s power-draining abilities, learning to hold back. But it was still a work in progress.
You’d been sparring, teasing each other with light-hearted jabs, when it happened. Her glove slipped during a fast block, and her bare hand grazed your wrist.
The sensation was instant. You felt the strength drain from your body, your energy slipping away like water through your fingers. Your knees buckled, and you crumpled to the floor, your vision darkening around the edges. You could hear Rogue’s panicked voice, but it was distant, muffled.
“Y/N!” Her voice cracked as she rushed to your side, pulling her gloves back on with trembling hands. “Oh God, oh God, Ah didn’t mean to! Please, wake up, sugah, please!”
You blinked, the world coming back into focus as the wave of exhaustion began to fade. Rogue knelt beside you, her hands hovering over you but not touching, her green eyes wide with terror.
“Ah hurt ya,” she whispered, her accent thicker than usual, her voice trembling. “Ah didn’t mean to, Ah swear! Ah was bein’ careful, Ah—”
“Rogue…” you croaked, reaching up weakly to grab her wrist. “It’s okay. I’m okay.”
She shook her head, tears pooling in her eyes. “No, it’s not okay! Ah coulda killed ya. Ah almost did!”
You struggled to sit up, and Rogue immediately helped you, her hands steady but her eyes full of guilt. “You didn’t,” you said softly. “You didn’t, and that’s what matters.”
Rogue’s lower lip trembled as she looked at you, her usually strong demeanor cracking. “Ah can’t keep riskin’ your life like this. Ah can’t control it, and Ah don’t want to hurt ya again.”
You cupped her cheek, your thumb brushing away a tear. “You’re not going to lose me, Rogue. I’m not afraid of you.”
Her breath hitched, and she leaned into your touch, closing her eyes as a tear slipped down her cheek. “Ah love ya too much to lose ya.”
“And I love you too much to leave,” you whispered, pressing your forehead to hers. “We’ll figure this out. Together.”

“You’re going? Seriously?” your best friend since high school, Steph, asked once she saw you trying to discreetly slide your credit card and keys into your purse a few minutes after you checked a text on your phone and scoffed.
You looked over at her with a soft glare, because her question had made your other friend give you a look of disbelief as well, when all you wanted to do was make your great and quiet escape. “What? I’m…tired,”
Steph scoffed this time and leaned back in her chair at the small table you managed to score in the back corner of a rather rowdy bar. “Yeah right. You’re such a liar. We just got here, like, half an hour ago,” she muttered and crossed her arms. “You’re not tired. You’re fucking horny.”
You gasped, but you couldn’t deny the truth her words held. “I am not,”
“Then where are you going?” Kayce, your other friend, asked as she too clued in to what was really going on with you, and she didn’t look too happy either.
Too bad for them, you were allowed to do whatever you wanted. “Why does it matter?”
“Y/n, if you’re even thinking about going over to his place, I swear, I’ll rip my hair out,” Steph groaned and you fought the urge to roll your eyes.
“What are you talking about?”
“I’m talking about Jake fucking Seresin. Or, you know, fucking Jake Seresin,” she reiterated and you felt your face heat up a bit.
Damn, you thought you were being a little more discreet than that, but clearly not. “So what if I am?” you sighed, giving up on the whole act entirely as you hadn’t been nearly as careful as you should’ve been. They both knew where you were going now, there’s no point in trying to hide it.
“So what? He’s your ex, Y/n,” Kayce stated, but her tone was much softer than Steph’s was.
“And he’s a fucking ass,” Steph added, “I don’t know what you saw in him before, and I still don’t know what you see in him now. He’s so full of himself, he’s cocky, arrogant and he fucking smirks at everything. Oh, and he treats you horribly.”
“Okay, that’s not true,” you defended your ex as you sat up straight. And it really wasn’t. Yeah, Jake was all those things she listed, she just missed him being overly confident, but he didn’t treat you badly at all. In fact, he was the best boyfriend you’d ever had, it was just the explosive fight you’d gotten in that ended it all. “He was good to me.”
“He’s trying to get you to come over so he can fuck you,” Steph said, a little too loudly for your liking since a few of the bars patrons had glanced over at the three of you. “He wants to fuck you then he’ll kick you out.”
“He won’t kick me out,” you scoffed, standing up and sliding your purse onto your shoulder. “Jake likes when I sleep in his arms.”
Steph looked like she was about to explode, but you didn’t care. You felt attacked by your friends, and you felt like they were trying to make you feel dumb and like a kid, when you are a grown woman who is capable of making your own decisions.
You knew what you were getting yourself into. “And maybe we’re friends now. Have you ever thought of that? Exes can be friends,”
Steph raised a brow. “Not exes like you and Jake. You two can never be friends, not after they way you were together,”
She was right about that, but she also didn’t need to know that.
Kayce looked up at you with a small frown on her lips, and you hated the pity in her eyes. You didn’t need it, and it wasn’t justified at all. “He texts you a lot, Y/n,” she said quietly, “Doesn’t it make you feel cheap?”
You looked down at her for a few seconds before shaking your head. “Cheap? With Jake?” you laughed, “Never.”
-
Jake was sipping on a beer and watching the highlights of the latest game when he heard a knock at his front door. He smirked, because he knew exactly who it was.
It was you, of course, and he knew exactly why you were here.
Only a mere twenty minutes ago, Jake had sent you two texts, one reading,
‘I wanna see you, baby. Come over,’
And the other,
‘I miss your sweet pussy and your pretty mouth,’
Yeah, he was aware of what he was doing, because he knew you’d read them, and he knew you’d come over. Albeit, you’d take your time getting here, but still, you were definitely coming.
And, you know, hopefully soon Jake would be too.
He set down his beer and abandoned the football game he’d been watching on the TV in the living room, and he wandered out to the front door wearing nothing but his grey sweatpants - the ones he knew drove you crazy, because they showed off the length of his cock through the fabric.
When he swung the door open and saw you in a tight skirt and a crop top, he knew he’d interrupted your girls’ night. That meant you ditched your friends in order to come to his place, and that made Jake’s smirk grow even more.
“Hey, sweet girl,” he greeted, leaning against the door frame as he looked at your gorgeous face. “I think we’re way past the point of you needing to knock, don’t you?” he teased, and the eye roll you gave him had him grinning. You were so perfect and so fucking stunning, Jake felt like the luckiest fucker in San Diego, because you’re here. And you’re still his.
A scoff left your lips as you crossed your arms, but the dramatic act wasn’t justified. You’d been out at the bar, attempting to have a decent night with your friends when you got his texts, and like always, any and all rational thoughts left your mind.
“Not really,” you muttered, shifting on your feet as the cool evening air made chills run through your body. “Why do you insist on texting me filthy things in order to get me over here? Why can’t you just find another girl to fuck and forget about?”
Jake’s eyes were all over your body, the green a shade or two darker as he bit down on his lip. Your skirt was short and hugged your curves in all the right places, showcasing every inch he knew off by heart, and he wanted to pull you into his arms and warm you up properly. “Forget about you? Baby, you know that’s not possible. There isn’t another girl in the world who could ever compare to you,” he said, his voice low as he reached one hand out and rested it on your hip, pulling you closer. “And you’re here, aren’t you? Besides, I don’t want to fuck anyone who’s not you.”
You rolled your eyes again, making Jake grin.
“Come on, you know I can’t help myself around you,” he mumbled, his deep voice right next to your ear as he brushed a kiss to your cheek. “I hate being away from you, and not knowing what you’re doing out there without me…”
You hummed, moving closer to him. “What do you think I’m doing?” you asked, raising a teasing brow as you slide your fingers up his bare chest before settling your hands on his shoulders. “Are you scared that I’m flirting with other guys? That I’m letting random strangers fuck me in the same bed you used to fuck me in? Are you scared I’ll finally move on from you?”
Your tone was teasing now as well as you leaned up and brushed your lips along his jaw. Jake felt a surge of possessiveness run through him, and a jolt of lust went straight to his cock, which he was sure you could feel against you right now.
“I don’t scare easily, Y/n,” he muttered, grabbing your hips and pulling you closer as he leaned down to nip at your ear. “Though, the thought of another guy putting his fucking hands on you…touching what’s mine…makes me think I need to leave my mark on you so they don’t even bother trying.”
His big hands slid down to grab your ass, and he squeezed it through the fabric of your leather skirt, making you whine softly.
“You’re not going anywhere, baby. Not when I can feel you trembling for me…not when I know you’re already getting wet for me,” he added, and you moaned loudly at his words.
“Relax, baby,” you cooed, “No guy has even come close, because I know I’ll just be disappointed. They’re not you. You’re the only one who can make me cum.”
A deep groan left Jake’s lips as you practically melted against him, your words laced with seduction and promise. He had you wrapped around his finger, and he was wrapped around yours as well.
“That’s right, sweet girl,” he murmured, shamelessly letting his gaze trail up and down your body. “These pretty tits, that sweet pussy…your stunning fucking body. All mine. Always has been, and always will be.”
His hands slid further down until he was gripping the backs of your thighs, then he was lifting you up into his arms and kicking the door shut behind him as he carried you towards his bedroom.
He’d made this exact route countless times now, always with you, and only with you since the night you met. It felt familiar, normal, and natural, like he would always only be carrying you to his room so he could fuck the living shit out of you.
“I think it’s about time I remind you of that fact, don’t you?” Jake asked, but it didn’t really sound like a genuine question. He tossed you onto his bed, the sight of you being nearly swallowed by the king-sized mattress one he fantasises about every time he goes to sleep. “You think you can tease me by talking about other guys, hm? When we both know that you’re never gonna let anyone else touch you like this.”
Jake’s hands slid up and down your calves before tugging off your boots and letting them hit the floor with a soft thud. Next were your stockings, which he just flat out ripped off you instead of trying to pull them all the way down, and the glare you gave him had a smug smirk forming on his lips as he tossed the destroyed fabric aside.
“Think I need to ruin you for everyone else. Fuck you so hard, you won’t bring up another guy ever again,” he hummed, crawling up your body. It wasn’t necessary, because Jake knew you hadn’t been with anyone else since him, like he hadn’t been with anyone else since you, but it was part of the game you and he had been playing recently. Riling each other up until the other breaks, then doing it all over again within a few days.
Jake knew he still wanted you, he wanted to fucking marry you, for fucks sake, but your break up had been an explosive one, and if you still needed a little more time to yourself before getting back on track with him, that was fine. He could do that one hundred percent, as long as it meant he got you back in the end.
You were leaning back on his pillow, your legs parting as he settled between them, and you already looked so fucked out and needy for him. It was such a pretty sight. Jake’s eyes were dark as he gazed down at your dishevelled form, his arms at either side of your head as he held himself up above you.
“Jake,” you groaned, sliding your hands along his abs before you reached up and grabbed his shoulders, pulling his body down onto yours as you buried your face in his neck. You placed soft kisses along his skin, breathing him in as if you were as gone for him as he is for you. “God, you’re so fucking hot…I love getting you all riled up like this.”
Jake was so hard for you, and your touches only made him harder, almost painfully so. “You love it, huh? You just love pushing me until I fuck you so hard, you can barely walk the next day,” he muttered, leaning in and kissing all along your neck and jaw as he ground his hips against yours over and over again until he couldn’t hold back any longer. He sat back on his knees, tugging your shirt over your head as he did so, and tossing it aside. His gaze immediately went to your chest, his cock twitching with need as he bit down on his lip. “Fuck, these tits…”
You laughed quietly, and Jake knew how he looked, drooling over you as if he hadn’t been with you for nearly three years before the break up. “You love them, don’t you?” you teased, reaching for his wrists and guiding his big hands to your chest. “Touch me, Jake…”
Jake groaned, squeezing your soft mounds as he looked down at you. “Oh, I more than love them, baby. I’m fucking obsessed with them,” he said as his thumbs circled your hardened nipples before he leaned down and took one between his lips, sucking greedily as he continued to tease your other one. “They’re mine. This whole fucking body is mine.”
“Mmm, for now,” you purred, giving him an innocent look as you writhed under him and he glared at you. But he didn’t let himself get too worked up at your words, since there was no for now with you, there was only forever.
After he worshipped your chest with his mouth for a bit, Jake pulled back and admired the red peaks that were straining against the cool air of his bedroom. You were whimpering for him and looking up at him with needy eyes, Jake had never seen a hotter sight in his life.
He gripped your hips and flipped you over, pulling your skirt down and off your body, leaving you in just your soaked panites. “Look at how perfect you are,” he murmured under his breath, his hand smoothing along the curve of your ass before he delivered a sharp smack to one side of it. “You’re such a good girl, presenting yourself so nicely for me.”
You whined as Jake hooked his fingers in the thin fabric of your panties and dragged them down your legs impossibly slow, exposing your wet core to the cool air. “Jake,” you mumbled as you propped yourself up on your knees and elbows, your fingers bunching up his sheets as you wiggled back against him and left a damp spot on the front of his sweats.
Jake reached down and palmed himself through the fabric, his cock begging for attention as he looked down at the pink handprint that was forming on your skin. “Fuck, look at you. So desperate for my cock already. Bet this needy little pussy is clenching around nothing, isn’t it?” he mocked, gripping your hips as he ground his clothed erection against your slick folds, not caring at all about the mess he was making on the grey fabric. You were moaning loudly now, his dirty mouth never failing to turn you on, and he knew that.
He rolled his hips a few more times before delivering another swift slap to your opposite cheek before he soothed the sting with his palm, his cock twitching more at the desperate sounds you were making for him.
His fingers delved between your thighs and collected your arousal, the wetness making his head spin in the best way, before bringing it to your lips. “Taste yourself, baby,”
You obliged quickly, turning your head and capturing his fingers between your lips. “Mm,” you moaned, licking and sucking at his fingers until they were clean of you and left coated in your spit. “So good…” you hummed as you pushed yourself back against him again, the dark spot on his sweats only growing in size the longer he kept them on.
“You’re so fucking dirty,” Jake grunted, pulling his fingers free from your mouth. “Getting off on your own taste.”
Then he licked his fingers, keeping eye contact with you as his free hand palmed your reddening ass. “You love it,” you mumbled, and Jake grinned as he pulled his fingers out of his mouth.
“Yeah, I do,” he agreed, grabbing your thighs as he pulled you back onto his lap, your slickness dragging along his damn near painful erection. His sweatpants were messy now as he gently bounced you on his lap, leaning over you to place kisses all along your shoulders, and then he was guiding you to lay down on your back once more as he pushed down and kicked off his sweats. “Spread those legs for me, Y/n. Let me see that pretty pussy.”
When you did as you were told, Jake settled between your thighs once more, his cock rubbing along your soaked folds. “Jake,” you whined. “I need you. Fuck me already. Please?”
“I will, sweet girl,” he laughed deeply, reaching down to circle your clit with his fingers. Then he was pushing forward and sinking inside your core, the wet warmth making him groan as he braced himself above you. “Fuck, you’re so tight. Missed this perfect pussy so much, baby.” he grunted, leaning down to kiss you as he began to fuck you with long, deep thrusts.
You moaned loudly, wrapping your legs tightly around his waist as you kissed him back. Your hands ran up and down his arms before pushing against his lower back, encouraging him to absolutely wreck you as your mouths pressed messily together. “God, yes. Fuck me, Jake,”
Jake groaned into the kiss, one hand tangling in your hair and pulling your head back a bit while his other gripped your hip tightly. “You were made for me, baby,” he murmured against your lips as picked up the pace a bit, breaking the kiss as he looked down at where you were connected. The sight of his glistening cock disappearing inside you had him thrusting a bit harder, his grip on you tightening even more. “Fuck, you’re so hot.”
He hooked his elbows under your knees, shifting your position on the bed and giving him a better angle to your sweet spot, and the way you practically squealed had him fucking into you a bit faster. “Jake, oh fuck,” you moaned as you ran your hands along his abs, feeling the way he flexed under your touch. “Harder…harder…”
Jake grunted as he complied, hitting every spot deep inside you until he felt your tight walls start to flutter and clench around him. “Not yet, baby,” he rasped, not wanting this to end too soon. He was desperate for you now more than ever, because every second with you was next to precious at the moment. “Hold on just a little longer, sweet girl.”
But you were whining in protest, shaking your head as you buried your face in his neck. “Jake,” you whimpered, wrapping your legs tightly around his waist. Then you pulled back and looked up at him, and your gaze softened a bit as you nodded. “Okay…okay, just go slower then, okay?” you asked so sweetly, your bratty persona from earlier gone as you leaned up and pressed kisses along his jaw.
Jake’s hands loosened their grip on you, and instead he wrapped his arms around you and cradled you against him, slowing his thrusts significantly. “Mm, there’s my good girl,” he praised, peppering gentle kisses along your neck and collarbone. “I wanna take my time with you…love you in the way you deserve.”
He knew his words were perhaps a little more intimate than they should be during a hookup, but Jake would never consider you that. Just a quick, easy fuck. He’d never think so low of you when he was so in love with you still.
His big hands caressed your body, touching all the places he knew off by heart, and he reveled in the soft moans you let out when he gently pinched and rolled your nipples between his fingers.
Jake leaned down and kissed you as you tangled your fingers in his hair, his hips slowly rolling against yours in unhurried thrusts. His own hands slid around you and down your body until they reached your ass, and he gripped you tightly as he lifted you up a bit to meet his deep strokes. “You feel so good, baby,” he mumbled against your mouth before fully breaking the kiss to look down at you.
You tugged on his hair, hiking your legs up higher around his waist as you arched your back. “So do you,” you replied, tipping your head back on his pillow as he increased the pace again by just a little. “So fucking good, Jake.”
He groaned, burying his face in your neck as he fucked into you, his sounds muffled against your skin. “Fucking hell, Y/n,” he moaned, “You drive me crazy, sweet girl. I’ve missed this so much…missed you so much.”
Jake leaned down and captured one of your nipples in his mouth, grazing it gently with his teeth before soothing it with his tongue.
You tugged a little harder on his hair before pushing on his shoulders, and for a fleeting moment Jake thought he might have gone too far with his words (not that he had much control over them anyway), but then you settled on his lap when he sat back on his knees, and you wrapped your arms around his shoulders.
“Oh, my God,” you gasped, your breasts brushing against his chest as you began to ride him. “Fuck…fuck.”
Jake’s hands grabbed your hips, holding onto you tightly as he helped guide you into a steady rhythm. “That’s it, baby. Ride me just like that,” he praised, dipping his head down to press kisses along the tops of your breasts.
Your moans were becoming a little more desperate now as you bounced on his lap, your knees digging into the mattress on either side of his hips, and the look in your eyes told Jake all he needed to know.
Maybe you didn’t mean for it to be there, but he could see the love, adoration and longing in your gaze, but he didn’t say anything about it. Just seeing it was all he needed to know that he’d be with you again properly someday.
“Jake,” you whispered, running your hands along his slightly sweaty shoulders as you moved on top of him, squeezing him so good, Jake had to bury his face against the side of your neck. “I’m gonna cum.”
“Me too. Fuck, you’re gonna make me cum so hard,” he groaned, thrusting up into you as he gripped your hip tightly and pulled your chest right up against his, using his free hand to apply pressure to your stomach. “C’mon, baby, give it to me.”
You whimpered and bucked your hips a few more times before you were shaking on his lap, your hands pulling at his hair as you came with a soft cry, and it was still the prettiest sound Jake had ever heard.
He grunted, and a few seconds later, he came too, filling you up as you became limp in his arms. His heart was pounding loudly in his ears, his chest heaving as he pressed a kiss to your forehead and moved to lay down so you were cuddled against his chest. “I love you,” he mumbled, the words all too familiar as he usually said them every single time you and he had sex, as well as every day before the breakup.
You groaned, shaking your head as you leaned up to press a firm kiss to his lips, then a few more after that. “Shh, don’t,” you murmured before rolling off him, making his cock slip free from your warmth as you rolled onto your stomach. “Just…come here. Come hold me.” you said, burying your face in his pillow as you closed your eyes.
Jake laughed under his breath as he pulled the covers up over your body before wrapping his arms around you from behind, holding you like you were his entire world. “Okay,” he whispered, kissing the top of your head as he let himself relax against you.
This was where he belonged, he knew that, and he knew that you belonged here too, it would just take you a little longer to get back there. Which was fine, because Jake would always wait for you. And as he listened to your quiet breathing and inhaled your familiar scent, he let his mind wander to the image of you finally wearing the ring he’d bought for you that was safely tucked away in his closet.

Hi there! I'm currently watching the original X men series to catch up to 97, and I'm in love with Gambit.
Would it be possible to ask for Remy and reader to be on a secret mission, and the Ole "make out so they don't suspect us" trope comes in, and gambit kinda (obviously) has feelings...?
It could be sfw or nsfw, either is perfect! Thank you for all that you do, I've been trying to find fics for the xmen for a while 🙏🙏
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kinda spicy! Gambit/GN!reader
YESS!! YESSSS!!! I legit had a dream about this situation with remy the day before you sent me this ask and I was cackling in joy when I saw this! I basically hyperfixated on it because I love this trope.
TWS: sexual themes n shit, no explicit smut. As always, reader written while picturing fem! but no specific pronouns mentioned. Semi-public making out and touching. Nipples be touched but size and type of breast not mentioned.
-Ps- reader can see heat signatures for plot purposes. I usually try to keep powers ambiguous but it was a NEED!
Tumblr media
"In here, quick!" Remy's thick draw catches your attention, just before he yanks you into an alley. The two of you were in New Orleans, looking for a specific mutant Xavier wanted to talk to. The only downside was that Remy still had a warrant out for his arrest, and wanted posters plastered all over the city from bourbon Street to the garden district.
"Don't worry Cher. You said. NOPD 'dumber than a sack of rocks, you said!" You gripe at him. Remy laughs, tugging you around the corner. The alleyways on Burbon street are mostly private areas, owned and sealed off by the bars that line the storefronts- but Remy knew this city like the back of his hand. However, things had changed since he was here last. That became apperent when the two of you reach the end of the alleyway and there's a brand new brick wall, a dead end.
Remy curses and skids to a stop, causing you to slam into his back. You send him a dirty look as you whip around, eyes adjusting to the brick surroundings. It's hard to make out the figures of the cops through the walls of the busy bar in in front of you, too many people crowding the street for drinks even this late at night. You strain your eyes a bit, but are able to make out the stiff-shouldered men, heat signature slightly elevated from booking it after the two of you. Unfortunately, they're headed towards the mouth of the alleyway.
"Damnit." You mutter, turning back to Remy. He understands what you mean just by looking at your face. He hums, thinking for a moment before he begins to take out a playing card. You grab his arm to stop him, trying to ignore how warm his skin is against your own.
"Don't. The explosion will just lead them to us." You say. Remy nodds, glancing at the corner before suddenly caging you against the wall of the alleyway. You try not to blush as he does so. Remy smirks at you, and you think your heart might just explode. You remind yourself that this is standard Remy behavior, but it doesn't stop your face from heating up. You can only hope it's too dark for him to see you properly.
"Well, there is another way we could fool those pigs." Remy says, quieter than before. You cock an eyebrow at him before looking back over in the direction of the alleyways opening, able to spot the cops as they begin to enter. In your peripheral, you see Remy running his fingers through his hair to flatten it. You open your mouth to ask him what he has in mind, but the sound of footsteps cut you off.
"-Well, if you're going to do something, you better do it quick!" You whisper back at him. Remy pushes you further against the cold brick, his hands drifting down to your waist as he leans over to wisper in your ear.
"Trust me, Cher. I'll take care of you." His words cause goosebumps to rise at the back of your neck, and you hardly have time to react before he's kissing you. Your eyes are blown wide, heart thumping wildly as you start to slowly relax into the kiss.
Unsurprisingly, Remy is a really, really good kisser. It's hard to focus while he's touching you like this, kissing you deeply like he loves you. He nips at your lip, and you gasp, having forgotten about everything else already. His tongue darts into you mouth, caressing the skin he finds there. You let out a small moan as one of his hands drifts lower, caressing your thigh and hiking your leg up just a bit. Your own hands slowly slide up his chest, drifting to his neck.
The heat in your chest is unbearable when Gambit separates from the kiss, a string of spit connecting your mouths before he wipes it away, nothing but affection on his eyes. You're panting for breath while he kisses the corner of your mouth, then your cheek, and then lower. Remy places wet kisses on your neck, sucking and biting as he tries to swallow you whole. You thread your hands through his soft hair as his does so, fully encouraging him to ravage you in whatever way he would like. One of his hands begins to slide under your shirt when a cough startles you out of your heated state.
Your first instinct is to turn towards the noise, but Gambit is quick to cup your cheek and pull you into another heated kiss before your head could move a centimeter. He keeps you occupied as his other hand fully caresses the skin beneath your shirt, squeezing and caressing your chest. You hear another exhausted sigh from the cops. You crack and eye open slightly, knowing they cant see you do so in the dark. One of them begins to raise his voice, but the other smacks him on the shoulder.
"Just another pair of drunks. We've got bigger things to worry about right now." The cop says. You could practically hear the other roll his eyes before they turn to and walk away. Gambit brings your attention back to him and only him when you feel a finger brush lightly against your nipple. You gasp, and Remy chuckles, playfully biting your lip as he pulls away. He's smirking as he looks at you, and you can only imagine what you look like right now.
"Looks like you enjoyed that." He teases, voice low and husky. You can't seem to pull your thought together properly when he's looking at you like that. You nervously look away, hands playing with his collar.
"And if I did?" You ask, glancing back at him to gage his reaction. He looks surprised at first, face morphing into a lovestruck smile before he tries to cover it up with a smirk. Didn't stop you from being able to see the heat rise to his cheeks, however.
"Then gambit thinks we should do this more often."

The Devil’s Temptations
The Devil’s Temptations: Smoking, Drinking, and Rock and Roll. Or at least, that’s what the pastor told Billy once when the man gave him ten bucks for food. The man lets him clean up the chapel seats every other Sunday for money. During Christmases, he decides to be more generous and give Billy twenties. You see, Billy has an interesting relationship with all three of the things. The relationships would no doubt disappoint the pastor. Though, two out of the three are simply to make himself seem more adult as Marvel, while one of them is simply because Freddy likes Elvis.
Like the smoking, it’s something adults do. Billy himself would never ever ever try it. (besides that one time he tried a cotton candy, watermelon, peach, strawberry, coconut vape and immediately ended up vomiting what little food he had eaten that day) But! Marvel’s an adult. And last he heard, you had to be like twenty something to get cigarettes. That’s what Mary told him anyways. So, every now and then, he’ll try to drop stealthy little hints that he smokes whenever Solomon suggests it.
One of these instances was when league ended up having to fight this ginormous octopus that was nearly as big as Metropolis. The battle ended with the monster exploding. Every league member on duty was covered in monster guts, blood, and juices. Including Billy. Like actually. Everything in the area was stained purple from head to toe. As for why the octopus monster’s blood was purple? None of them had a single clue. They proceeded to stand in silence as the liquid dripped off of them and onto the ground, which was also purple.
Solomon: NOW BILLY! SAY IT.
Marvel: *drags hand down face to wipe off all the gunk and takes a deep sigh* “I need a cigarette.”
Other Leaguers: *slowly look to Marvel*
Marvel: *already heading to the nearest Zeta Location*
By the way, he stole this phrase from a prostitute friend of Ms.Bambi who got caught and soaked in the rain while working the corner. Let’s also say it’s Ms.Foxy from my Marvel Pranks Hal post. (In that post, she’s still a prostitute, and if you want to know what she has to do with pranking Hal… Billy’s a little, a lot unhinged in that post)
//mini flashback//
Billy: *jogging through the hallway*
Ms.Foxy and Ms.Bambi: *talking*
Ms.Foxy: “I need a damn cigarette.”
Billy: “Hi, Ms.Bambi! Hi, Ms.Foxy!” *waves as he passes by them*
//end of mini flashback//
The two had no idea the child heard.
After this incident, Aquaman invited him for whiskey and cigars with a couple other heroes. They ended up playing poker, in which Billy basically ended up robbing them blind. Poker Nights with the Lords of different Hells really pays off. Also, a hero snuck a picture of him as Marvel, dressed in civvies with a cigar in between his teeth while holding some cards. Anyone who saw this didn’t know whether to be surprised that Marvel smokes cigars, or that he can play poker.
Aquaman: “How long have you smoked?”
Marvel: “Uh…”
Solomon: “TWELVE YEARS, BOY!”
Marvel: “Twelve years.”
Aquaman: “Damn, and you have the voice of an angel. I don’t hear the slightest bit of grit. How do you do it?”
Marvel: “The uh- smoke doesn’t harm me.”
Aquaman: “Ooooooh.”
Then, there’s Billy’s relationship with drinking. Now, you see, he’s never personally been a fan of drinking. Many of his foster parents did, but surprisingly, the few parents that were heavy drinkers had their moods tempered down. You’d think it’d make it worse. So, if anything, Billy has an okay relationship with it. He doesn’t like it because of the bad memories it brings, but it itself wasn’t what caused those memories.
Though, nowadays, he has better memories of drinking. It reminds him of the others dragging him to bars and having fun and all that. Now, he doesn’t really go with them often, considering the fact it’s kind of illegal, but he’ll go every now and then and come back with a smile. He loves the frozen daiquiris. They’re basically just slushes with a zing. Even then, it’s not like he can get drunk in his Marvel form.
GL: *tipsy* “Dude, why do you keep ordering daiquiris?”
Marvel: “They’re delicious. Want some?” *offers his drink*
GL: *sips from Marvel’s straw* “Stop, these are actually really good.”
Marvel: “I know, right?” *takes his straw out, places it on a napkin, asks Dinah for hand sanitizer (idk she seems like the type to carry a little bottle in her purse), then proceeds to squirt a giant glob over the part of the straw Hal sipped from*
GL: *doesn’t notice and orders a daiquiri for himself*
By the way, every single person is rightfully horrified when they found out Billy is a kid.
Aquaman: *thousand yard stare as he remembers the times he’s drank and smoked with Marvel*
Flash: *absolutely horrified with his jaw dropped so far down it looks dislocated because he remembered he invited Marvel to his bachelor party*
Superman: *same expression as Flash as he remembered all the times they sent Marvel to fight him whenever he got mind controlled*
GL: *sweating as he remembers the times he’s tried to invite Marvel to clubs* (That was an automatic hell no for Billy. He might try to act more like an adult but he is absolutely never stepping foot into a club.)
Batman: *eyes slowly moving to side eye everyone mentioned above*
Wonder Woman: *more puzzled than anything because she thought of Cap as a big brother. Is wondering if that means he’s now her little one*
Martian Manhunter: *surprised because he expected Marvel to be a hundred thousand year old immortal being or something*

Okay, so, the ask about yandere platonic dick cheating and how the reader would react has me wondering; what would happen if the reader somehow found out that Dick didn't actually change and decided to go no contact, because they couldn't trust him or maybe because they just don't want to be around someone like that? Would that cause Dick to spiral more? What exactly would be the consequences of going no contact? (Like a complete cut off, although it'd be a bit hard to do that since they live in the same house)
(I was a bit disappointed to read that he probably wouldn't change, but it seemed realistic to me because habits are hard to break and everyone in the batfam is messed up. Although, I imagine after years of therapy or something similar there might be some sort of change. But, I doubt anyone in the batfam is getting therapy... except maybe reader)
Sorry yeah, i don't like to think Dick is actually a cheater or this shitty. I just like to humor different scenarios i get requested. But you cannot deny that this man is a messy whore. THIS IS THE FACE OF EVILLL
Tumblr media
context
Look, cheaters are so sloppy. Even the ones who put the most effort into it are always bound to slip up. I imagine batsis isn't a fool. Like Richard...no way did you just go from being a serial cheater to suddenly being completely cleansed. You're an addict baby boy.
Like i said at first he's actually wanting to get clean for his baby sis and to be a good role model. I think it'd be very obvious to you that he's actually trying. He's irritable and really struggling to cope with the fact he has to put the phone down. You can see him obsessively checking his phone for what you'd assume to be a message or notification from one of his hookups. You can tell he's torn up about loosing his partners because he came clean about his unethical practices....
There's no hiding. This is such a deep seeded issue and it is really taking a toll on him. This is something like you said will need YEARS of therapy to fix.
So now Dick is trying to bullshit you a few days later...right in front of your salad! He's just sooo happy and he's proud about this new leaf turned????? Yesterday he looked like he was about to breakdown in tears because he'd been abstinent for just 48 hrs...and now he's glowing???
Dick, your patrol ended at 2 am last night...you came home at 6 am...please don't play with me rn.
not me getting heated. lol
He doesn't explicitly tell you he's back to his old ways. He's willing to keep lying his way into keeping you and this habit but it's undeniable. You know that his gf only forgave him because he lied to her too. It makes you sick when you saw the text of him telling her that he's busy with family and then left out for the rest of the day to go be with someone else.
Maybe you explode on him about it? Last time you were as nice as you could be about it but you cannot deal with the games anymore.
I liked to think in this scenario you're yelling at him and he's just still gas-lighting you, He throws every card to make you feel bad for accusing him. It absolute drives you mad. He's just so calm while you're are trying not to strangle him.
"Baby bat, i love you. I think you're just tired and are imagining things. You're convincing yourself that i'm still the old Dick because you're hurting...i understand and I forgive you. Maybe we should set up therapy sessions to help you let go of the past? Hmm?"
"YOU MOTHER FU-"
Ugh but i love him he's so fucked
The irony of him suggesting you therapy when he's the one riddles with mommy issues and the most insane coping mechanisms...
Dick isn't going to allow you to go no contact. You cannot go no contact with someone you live in the same house with. You are bound to interact and when you are dealing with someone like dick...it just won't work. The bat kids are extremely resilient and are well versed in making someone crack. You wouldn't be the exception.
More realistically you'd probably just be cold towards Dick. That's the best you can do. Not really responding to him and basically stone walling...
But i imagine this version of Dick to be much more forceful. He's done with your self righteousness. How dare you suggest moving out. That isn't an option because he needs to see his baby sister everyday. You are breaking up the family over this. You cannot cut him off because he's flawed...it's not that serious y/n. None of the other siblings are breathing down his neck. Maybe if you weren't so frustrating..he could actually become a better person. You are the one that is preventing him from being better with all your pressure!!
You packed your bags and are fully ready to walk out of this family for good because there's just too many wrong doings swept under the rug and here comes dick who is FUMING... He's trying to rip your bags out of your hands and grab you up..
You are not doing this to him. Stop being so-
Maybe your siblings step in and help you to leave. They help Dick calm down because they respect that it's your choice to live how you'd life.
Dick isn't stopping once you're gone. Especially if you're still in Gotham. There's a shadow that follows you where you go. Tons of messages and calls from unknown numbers. Even scarily enough..a blue toy bird left at your door with a small note that read
"Missed me, my little birdie? We'll be seeing each other again soon."

hi!! can you write sevika x younger reader where the reader is like 22-24 and sevika feels this dread one day realizing that she actually does like this woman despite their (moral) age gap and even wants to take things further which usually doesn't happen for her (also having a hard time telling the reader her feelings or anyone for that matter)
bonus points if the reader is a bartender or something at The Last Drop!
I hope this is an interesting enough request
Thank you for the request!!! I had so much fun diving into drinks and their meanings ahhsdmdm
A/N: slowly chipping away at some of these but I've never felt more pleased doing these
Characters: Sevika x Young Bartender!Fem Reader
Warnings: alcohol drinking
Minors DNI

Apricot Fizz
Tumblr media
The first time Sevika noticed you was when you were leaving Silco's office with a pep to your step unfitting to Zaun- especially in The Last Drop.
She remembers the glint in your eye- eager and energetic with a flush to your cheeks. You were young. Too much of an age gap for her eyes to linger as long as they did.
She was surprised to see that you had actually landed the job as the bartender- the second time she had noticed you.
She ignored you, deciding not to get a drink that night- or the next few nights.
Your energy was a lot. Almost too much- you almost had a crowd gathering around the bar, people eager to get even a moment of your time.
Sevika had grown restless, needing a drink after a great game of cards. She finds herself almost nervous, for whatever reason, but nonetheless approaches the bar after the slight crowd simmers down.
She puts out her cigarillo, exhaling the last bit of smoke when your hand comes into view, sliding an orange drink in a beer glass in her direction.
“The hell is this?” She huffs, bringing her gaze up to yours.
Your cheeks are flushed as you make another drink for another customer,”Saw you comin’ up, haven't gotten you a drink this week so didn't know what you liked-”
“Beer,” she mutters, eyeing the glass in question,”or whiskey.”
You nod, a sheepish smile on your lips,”Sorry- I can take this-”
She waves her hand, clasping the class in her hand as she eyes the liquid,”Not gonna waste alcohol,” she mutters before taking a sip.
The fruity drink explodes on her tongue, slightly sour with a flavor of orange beneath the lemon. She was surprised, couldn't even taste the alcohol. She eyes it in confusion.
You giggle softly,”It's a cocktail,” you respond with a grin,”They're dangerous, the alcohol sneaks up on ya.”
Sevika nods in silence, sipping it again before turning around to face the rest of the bar. She could feel a flush beneath her skin that she quickly stifled- She couldn't think of you like that.
The next few nights, you slide a variation of beer and whiskeys to her across the bar.
You manage to get idle chit chat from her on occasion and she slowly allows you to break down one of her millions of walls.
“What was that first drink you gave me- from the first time you served me?” Sevika finds herself wondering after a few beers and another gambling win.
“Oh! The orange one?”
Sevika nods as she sips her beer.
“Apricot fizz,” you respond as you clean out a glass.
Sevika watches you with a deadpan look on her face,”How did you learn to make that? I thought this was your first bartending gig?”
“It is,” you hum, quickly stepping to the side to refill a customer's beer before coming back to her,”I have a whole book about different drinks to make and their ‘meanings’.”
She watches you shake your head, then exhales,”Drinks and their meanings?” She echoes, a scowl on her lips.
You laugh softly, nodding at her confusion as you clean another glass.
“What does the beer mean, then?”
Your gaze connects with hers and she watches as a warmer blush covers your cheeks,”Uh- from what I remember it has less of a meaning and more so like- a symbol of community and celebration.”
She watches you speak with your hands, finding it an endearing trait of yours.
“What about the other one?”
You swallow, averting your gaze as you struggle to come up with an answer, already knowing it,”I'd have to read that one again, I don't quite recall.”
She hums at your response, gaze narrowed but otherwise drops it. She finishes her beer before tapping her glass,”I'll take one of those, then.”
You nod with a small smile on your lips as you take her glass and replace it with the cocktail.
Her hand brushes yours and she swears she feels something electric buzz beneath her skin.
She ignores it again, looking away from you despite how much she wants to let her gaze linger.
It's another night at The Last Drop, one of the slower nights much to your surprise.
You're cleaning off the counters and glasses when you hear the door open. Sevika strides in with Ran right behind her, who splits off to play pool with one of their friends.
You circle the bar as she walks up to order a drink. She looks disheveled, tired.
“You alright?” You murmur softly as she sits on one of the stools across from you.
Sevika grunts, her prosthetic arm coming to rest on the bar,”I'm fine.”
You nod, dropping it,”Want a beer?”
She shrugs, resting her chin in her hand,”Surprise me.”
You gawk at her in surprise for a moment before nodding, thinking of another drink she could try.
She watches as you work, nose scrunching as you add cherries on a toothpick to lay on top the rim of the cocktail glass.
You slide it over to her, a burgundy orange color.
“What's this one?” She murmurs, picking up the toothpick and biting one of the cherries off.
“It's called the Rob Roy,” you speak fondly, cleaning out a glass a customer leaves on the counter.
She raises a brow, lifting it to take a sip before humming as she takes in the smoky feel on her tongue.
“I don't remember what this one means either,” you smile sheepishly, gaze averted.
“You should reread that book of yours, then,” she teases before quickly drinking the rest of it. “Got any others up your sleeve?” She murmurs, sliding the glass your way.
You grin, thinking for a moment before nodding and making her another.
You slide a tall glass across the counter, an orange slice perched on the rim of an equally orange drink.
“Screwdriver,” you grin,”Apparently it was named that because of mine workers stirring the drink with a screwdriver.”
“That is.. not reassuring,” she mumbles before taking the orange slice off and placing it on the napkin before sipping the bright drink.
You giggle softly, watching her sip it,”Orange juice and vodka, another dangerous one.”
She nods, masking the fact that she actually really liked this drink.
Ran comes up, eyeing the drink in Sevikas hand before requesting the same one.
You make it no problem but flush as Ran speaks.
“Don't these drinks have, like, romantic meanings?” They ask as they lean against the bar.
You shrug, avoiding both of their gazes,”Maybe- I don't remember all of the drinks' meanings.”
“My dad was a bartender-” Ran grins, nodding in thanks as you slide the tall glass their way,”He used drink language to get my Ma to notice him.”
Sevika hums, eyeing your blushing face and taking note as you avert your gaze.
Sevika quickly realizes she's looking forward to seeing you every night now.
It irritates her- crawls beneath her skin and makes agitation fester when she doesn't see you some nights.
It's like an addiction. She grows more fond of your soft smile and those stupid fruity drinks.
Whenever she does see you, she trails her gaze over your features.
The slope of your nose, the curl of your lips when you laugh, the slight crows feet around your eyes from smiling so much. It's such a shock to her- she's found so little reason to smile down here yet you've found enough to give you a permanent glow.
Whenever you hand her one of those drinks, she allows her gaze to trace unmarred flesh. Not one visible scar along your arms or knuckles whereas scars have faded with time along her own body.
She's infatuated and she hates it. Hates that you're so young- maybe if you were closer in age, she wouldn't find a problem but after hearing you were 24, she couldn't get it out of her head.
You were everything kind and sweet in someone unbeknownst to the cruelties in the undercity.
She avoids you. Finds herself drinking less a few times a week, more time spent outside gambling.
She knows you know, she can feel your gaze when she walks past. She feels guilty, despite the fact that she knows this is for the best. She can't be caught up with someone so inexperienced- so young.
It's been a few weeks now of avoiding you.
Sevika is gambling now when a glass is placed next to her. She side eyes it, looking up to see Ran with a narrowed look in their eyes.
“The fuck is this?” She mutters, pulling her cigarillo from her lips.
“It's a gimlet,” they mutter, rolling their eyes at her attitude.
“A gimlet?” Sevika echoes with a scoff, lifting the glass and sniffing it. There's a slight lime scent,”What's this for?”
“From your friend, who's really wondering if she did something wrong,” Ran huffs out, crossing their arms.
Sevika huffs out a sigh of defeat, eyeing the drink before sipping it.
“Each of these drinks has meaning, you oaf,” Ran scoffs down at her, then hands her a small book.
Sevika narrows her gaze.
“Oh for fucks sake, take the book and read the meanings,” they wave the book around before Sevika scoffs and takes it. Ran is silent for a moment before making a move to walk back inside,”She thinks she said something wrong to offend you.”
“She didn't,” Sevika sighs.
“I know, you're just being an ass.”
Gimlet- ‘The long goodbye,’,’thoughts of someone far away.’
Sevika's eyebrows scrunch as she reads the meanings of these drinks.
“The long goodbye?” She murmurs lowly, confused before guilt claws at her belly. She rubs her hand down her face, covering her mouth as she stares up at her ceiling.
She flips through the pages, reading different meanings before she remembers the first name.
Apricot Fizz- ’Please look my way.’
Something swirls in her belly, this time not an unpleasant feeling as she rereads it at least a dozen times.
She sits up off her bed, trying to remember what one of the other drinks you had given her as she flips through the pages.
A memory sparks as she hits S.
Finally, she finds it.
Screwdriver- ‘You've stolen my heart.’
Her face flushes, eyes widening as she stares down at the page.
She puts the book down for a bit after that, paces her small apartment as she thinks to herself before hopping into the shower to help relax her muscles.
Finally, she calms down enough, easing away the guilt as she picks up the book again to find the last one.
Most ridiculous name for a drink, might she add.
Rob Roy- ‘I want to capture your heart.’
She sighs, dropping the book back on the bed as she flops backwards onto her bed.
She hates the realization that she's got it bad for you. Hates that she looks forward to seeing you despite the fact that she'd been avoiding going up to the bar. Hates that she misses your soft laugh.
She hates that you make her heart warm.
She's thankful that Silco sends her out on a job that takes her away from The Last Drop, using it to get her head on straight.
When she returns, having read through that book at least three times over by this point, she's made up her mind.
Her buddies are out gambling around the corner of the bar as she approaches, waving their way before heading into the bar.
It's late. There's not many people around the bar at this hour, she silently thanks whatever God or goddess may be smiling down on her at this moment.
You're cleaning some glasses, seemingly lost in thought as you don't notice her walking up.
She sits down, arms resting on the counter and she nods at you when you finally look up at her.
Your cheeks heat up,”Sorry-” you murmur.
“Don't apologize, doll,” she speaks softly,”I should- uh, apologize.”
She's looking down at the bar, not seeing the blush across your face at the nickname.
“I was being an ass,” she murmurs, brushing her hand down her face and looking back up at you,”I.. don't really have an excuse.”
You shake your head, waving your hand to brush it off,”I was just worried I said something to upset you or-”
“No, you haven't,” Sevika gazes at you, leaning closer over the bar but keeps a sizable distance,”I'm sorry.”
“It's okay,” you murmur after a moment of silence,”Want a beer?”
Sevika shakes her head, looking down at her hands,”Actually- uh-”
She looks awkward for a moment, giving one last thought before nodding to herself.
“Can I make you one?” She murmurs.
Your eyes widen in surprise.
She stands up, waiting for your reply.
“Yeah- yeah, uh, come on around,” you laugh softly in disbelief.
Sevika looks toward Ran, tucked in the back and shoots them one look that has them scrambling up and gripping their friends elbow, everyone remaining in the bar leaving as you turn away for a moment to open the side of the bar.
Sevika comes around, eyeing the inside of the bar and spotting one of the ingredients she needs. She ushers you out and you laugh softly, shaking your head in fondness.
She grasps the orange juice as you settle in, sitting down on the stool across from her.
“Where are the tall glasses?” Sevika looks at you, then nods as you point to the cabinet behind her.
She gets to work, struggling for a moment to find everything but manages to do so. She adds the alcohol and juices together, unmixed, along with an orange slice and a cherry before sliding it across the bar to you.
You eye it carefully, trying to remember if you know the name but didn't quite catch everything she added.
Sevika doesn't stop there, instead picking up a wine glass and pouring white wine and creme de cassis.
You watch her, the scrunch in her brow as she focuses. A sheepish smile graces your lips, blush warm on your cheeks.
“You're making more than one drink,” you tease softly.
“Just.. trust the process, yeah?” She smirks at you and you can't ignore the flutter in your belly.
She's silent as she grabs another glass after sliding the second glass toward you.
“I avoided you because I was nervous,” she admits softly, averting her gaze as she pours two drinks together.
“Nervous? What for?” You murmur, leaning closer over the bar.
She hums softly, slicing another orange slice to slip into the glass,”You're young- real young, and I couldn't seem to look past that until now.”
You raise an eyebrow in question, ready to ask but she raises a palm, sliding the last glass to you.
She points to the first one she made,”Tequila sunrise,” then the second,”Kir,” then the last one,”Screwdriver.”
She completes her statement by sliding the book across the countertop towards you and your face heats up tremendously.
“I- what-” you carefully grab the book, eyeing her in disbelief.
“Read the first one,” she urges softly.
You nod, flipping to that part of the book.
Under ‘Mutual Feelings’.
Tequila Sunrise- ‘Passionate love.’
Upon reading it, your head shoots up. She is wordless as she points to the second.
Kir- ‘I'm glad we met.’
And you've already memorized the last one- having given her so many of those along with the others.
You're quiet for a moment before pointing to the last orange drink,”You've stolen my heart.”
She just gazes at you, soft and tender and it fills you with warmth.
You grasp the glass, taking a sip of it, following up with the other two before placing them down and standing.
You're wordless as you hike yourself up on the countertop to swing your legs over before gripping Sevika by the collar of her vest and tugging her in to press your lips to hers.
You separate after the blissful moment.
She tastes the fruity drinks on your lips and can't get enough, quickly pressing her lips back on yours again.

Glass Bones and Paper Skin Part 2
Platonic! Bruce x Model! GN! Reader
First Part
Part 3
Trigger Warnings: Hint at suicide, Body Issues, Eating problems (not a disorder), Child Neglect, stalking
This is more of the family side than it is of Bruce. Next part will be everyone.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Young Master Y/N, what a pleasant surprise.” Y/N smiled at Alfred, opening their arms and sagging in relief once they hugged the butler. The three hour car ride had been tense, with everyone asking questions and Y/N trying their hardest to be polite while not losing it. The fashion show still fresh in their mind, and the clothing Francesca had given them was gently folded and placed in the trunk of the car.
“It is good to see you, Alfred. It’s been too long.” The old man huffed, “Indeed. A year of only phone calls and cards does make it seem like it was a century ago since I last saw your face… in person.” Y/N smiled, giving Alfred a playful look before remembering where they are and how they got here.
The smile on their face became practiced, expression smoothening out as they turned to face the rest of the family who were all waiting patiently. Dick was smiling brightly, unraveling his scarf and walking forward, “Hey Alfie, you should have seen our Y/N walk. They really made the show.”
“I find it insulting they made you walk last,” Damian chimed and crossed his arms. Y/N gave him a small smile, “Being a closer is as much of a compliment as being the opener.” The young boy scrunched his nose, “I preferred the show in Paris.”
“Francesca Gabbana designed the piece, Alfred you’ll have to see it.” Tim was the one carrying the case that had the piece in it. The old man hummed, “I saw it on the television, but perhaps seeing it in person will be better.” Jason shrugged, walking in and gently nudging Y/N with his larger shoulders, “Although, did she have to make the Bat symbol just the front piece? It barely covered anything.” Y/N could see his jaw clench like the very thought of other people seeing Y/N’s stomach.
Bruce was the last to walk in, shrugging off his coat and hanging it over his arm, “Fashion designers do not care about function, only beauty.” Y/N smiled tensely, “It is a form of art.” The older man smiled at Y/N, and the model couldn’t get rid of the image of the Bruce they saw backstage.
“Of course it is. One of the most demanding forms of art as well.” Y/N couldn’t place the tone, but there was a sudden shift in the atmosphere. Alfred shuffled, “Well, dinner is almost ready. Young Master Y/N, if you want you can wash up in one of the guest bathrooms. Your room is currently being used as a trophy room.” Y/N chuckled, “Oh dear, you’re not hanging up my photos are you?”
“I did tell you I would be.” Y/N shook their head, “Thanks Alfred, but I don’t have any clothes here.” An arm swung around their shoulder, and Y/N stiffened under the sudden touch. Jason was smiling at them, “C’mon Y/N, we have some clothes for you.” Y/N felt the sudden spike again in their spine, alerting them that something was amiss and only bad things would happen if they asked questions. From how everyone was looking at them, Y/N specifically, it was like they were waiting for Y/N to ask. Impatiently waiting for that landmine to explode in front of them.
“How kind of you, I wasn’t expecting that.” Y/N jumped over it.
“Of course! How could we not have clothes ready for when our younger sibling comes home. Even though it’s been almost three years, I hope everything still fits right.” Just to land on another landmine. Y/N kept the smile on, years of being talked down to by photographers have helped them create the perfect mask of politeness.
“So, which bathroom in which guest room?” Tim stepped forward and gently guided Y/N out from under Jason’s arm and further into the manor. Y/N stayed half a step behind, taking in the gothic manor and the decorations littering the hallway.
Out of all the siblings, Y/N is closest with Tim. Not really siblings, and not really even friends, but if his relationship could be described as a length rope attached to each person, Tim’s would be the second shortest. Right after Alfred. They are close in age, and Tim was the first one to comment on Y/N’s photo when Y/N had first started modeling.
It was only once, and it may have been in passing, but Y/N had held that interaction close to their heart. The first and last comment from a sibling about their modeling. An acknowledgement of sorts, that made Y/N momentarily believe that they were noticeable, only for that to be squished that same day.
“You’re photo in the Cosmetology magazine, it looks really good. Red suits you.”
The way that color looked on Y/N was the same as how a red rose looked on a green stem; like it was always meant to be. Y/N has seen the comparisons between them and their mother. M/N L/N was a beautiful woman, with large eyes and pouty lips, the very definition of innocence. A puppy-dog look that fit so naturally on her face.
A white rose.
While Y/N had a more sultry tone, a more powerful presence, one that demanded attention.
A red rose. Not so innocent, or pure, but who can be when you see your own mother dead in the bathtub. Drug allegations and the loss of her popularity caused her downfall, and she loved her popularity more than she loved her child. Y/N finds it hard to blame her, because after they have gotten a taste of what beauty can get them, they can see why their mother got addicted to the camera flashes.
The assurance that yes, they are beautiful. They are beautiful and worthy of the cameras.
But with every camera flash, is a terrible comment. A terrible blog, highlighting their faults and insecurities. Someone dissecting every motion they made, every microexpression, ever comment.
“Here you are, Y/N.” Y/N’s attention snapped back and sure enough they were in front of the door. Tim waited patiently for Y/N to enter, “Thank you, Tim.” The young man shrugged, “Sure. Clothes can be found in the dresser and shoes in the closet.” Y/N nodded, waiting for the other to leave. Instead Tim turned around and faced Y/N, waiting for the other with a raised brow, “You’re not going to ask about the clothes?”
Y/N gulped, “I feel like if I ask, I won’t like the answer. I’d rather live in ignorance for now.” They walked past Tim, opening and closing the door, but before they saw Tim grin and a smile played out on his lips, “Smart.”
They locked the door, and when they turned around Y/N nearly collapsed. They pressed their back into the door as they stared at the room in mild terror. Their room from their condo, fully paid off condo, was present in front of Y/N. The same color palette, the same furniture, hell even the bookshelves are the same. Gulping, Y/N walked further in and when they opened the dresser, their jaw clenched and fingers shook.
The exact same clothes.
The bathroom was their saving grace, or so they thought. It didn’t look like their bathroom in the condo, save for the same colored towels. That was until they opened the shower and saw full bottles of the same brand soap, shampoo, conditioner, masks, everything.
“Just like home. It is just like home, Y/N. Only in the Manor.” They mumbled to themselves, stripping in front of the shower stall and jumping in and not even waiting for the water to get hot. They wanted in and out as quickly as possible. Washing their hair, their body, and not even bothering to do the usual masks and scrubs.
Jumping out, they quickly towel dried themselves and threw on the robe that was so familiar.
“Routine… keep to the routine…” Body lotion, while the skin is still damp so it can absorb into the skin better, followed by an oil. For the face it was a double cleanse, first an oil based then water-based, followed by toner, retinol, serums, hyaluronic acid, moisturizer, and face oil. Teeth will be after the meal, but hair…
“Moisturizer, blow dry, and then oil.” Y/N continued to mutter, trying desperately to not go crazy as the familiar brands flashed across their face and they had to use it like normal. They had too. Cause if they don’t, then Y/N knows that they will go crazy.
They don’t bother to look in the dresser again, already on the verge of having a nervous breakdown, and instead they opted to flop onto the bed. Y/N buried their face in the pillow, and tried to not think about anything. They tried to force their mind blank, just how they did on the runway.
“Y/N, are you ready?” Only it wasn’t working. Sitting up, Y/N stared at the door and contemplated answering. The carefully crafted facade was cracking and Y/N doesn’t know if they can keep the mask on any longer. From the multiple shows this week, to the shows earlier today, then this, the mask had outworn its use and now it is slowly begging to be taken off.
“One minute please.” Only they can’t. Not here. Definitely not here.
Peeling themselves off of the bed, Y/N stripped out of the robe and grabbed the first shirt they saw, underwear, and jeans. Their house slippers were right next to the dresser, and Y/N wanted to cry. All of it was getting too much and they're not sure how much longer they can be doing this.
Opening the door, Dick and Jason were the ones waiting for them. Dick grinned, “How insulting of you to look so great in only jeans and a crew neck, making the rest of us look like toads.” Y/N chuckled, closing the door behind them, “I am a model, its my job to look good in every style of clothing.”
Dick laughed, wrapping an arm around Y/N’s shoulder he pulled the other close. Close enough that Y/N could smell the detergent used on Dick’s clothes, and body heat radiating off of the other. They started walking, Jason keeping silent while Dick chatted to Y/N, catching the other up on the past year.
“There are more to the family now, but they won’t be at dinner today. Cass is with Steph, Duke is studying, and Barbara has dinner with her own family to join.” Y/N nodded, ignoring the small sting that others can be welcomed in while they couldn’t be. Instead, they kept the conversation polite, “How nice! It must be worthwhile to have so many people here.” Dick grinned, and there was a type of sharpness to it that had Y/N squirming.
“Yeah, but it was never really a full house because not everyone was here.” A jab at Y/N, who muscled through it, “Well, modeling is a travel-heavy job. There was no time to come back.” The brothers stayed quiet, leading Y/N to the dining room table where everything and everyone was sitting and waiting patiently.
Bruce caught their eyes, and motioned for them to sit at the empty seat next to him, Tim on the other side. Y/N walked over, and took the seat graciously, trying to ignore the weight in their stomach that was making their throat close. Alfred emerged, and like the true butler he was, he began setting their plates in front of them. Perfectly made and being presented beautifully on the white ceramic plates with gold leaf designs.
Their favorite meal, one that always had Y/N running down the stairs when Alfred would announce his plans to make it, sat perfectly in the center of the plate. Its been so long since Y/N had it, no one quite makes it like Alfred does, and plus its just not really in Y/N’s diet.
But Alfred made it. Alfred put his time and effort into making it, and Y/N is not going to spit on that. Once everyone had their plate, the dinner table became loud with chatter. Just like hoow it used to be. Dick would carry the conversation for the entire table, Jason would make sarcastic remarks, Tim intelligent ones, Damian’s would be snide, and Bruce would look exhausted the entire time. However, he still partook in them, letting his kids have the family moment of conversing with their parental figure. Smiling and chuckling as he did so, Bruce tried to be that good father figure.
And Y/N just sits there. They eat quietly and think about their next photo shoot, the next trends that they need to hop on, the workout routine they need to adhere by. Questions do not get thrown their way–
“Now that fashion season is over, what are your plans Y/N?” E/C eyes blink owlishly, staring at Dick in wonder as all eyes focus on them.
“Oh, uh, um, well its normally rest season for us, but I have plans to schedule a few photoshoots, commercials, and I know Maya has been talking about me becoming a brand ambassador.” Y/N wants to keep the momentum. Y/N wants to be kept busy to get and stay away from here.
“You’re not going to rest?” Jason questioned, raising a brow and Y/N shrugged, “I plan to take a few weeks off, but modeling doesn’t really have a set time.” It isn’t a 9-5 job, or vigilante job. Y/N will have to make public appearances, showing up to Galas, grand openings, other fashion shows, fashion shoots, and a lot of traveling.
Bruce hummed, “Sounds like you’re running yourself thin.” Y/N gulped, “It sounds like a lot, but most of it is traveling and getting ready. Besides, I like being busy.” In high school, Y/N would go from school the the modeling agency where they would schedule photo shoots and commercials. Then it would be meeting with dieticians, personal trainers, estheticians, and then more meeting for future goals. The next steps.
Y/N was always busy, but so was their mother and she managed. She was a single mother and a high end fashion model. If she can do it, then there is no reason Y/N can’t.
“But there are other stuff right? Like you need to get facials to make sure your skin looks nice, and working out,” Damian chimed in, and Y/N blinked in surprise at the youngest contributing to the conversation. They smiled, “That’s not really tiring, it’s just time consuming.”
Alfred walked back into the dining room, a dessert platter in his hands, “Then it is good you will be resting here. Take a few days to enjoy being free.” A cheesecake was set down in front of Y/N, and Alfred pointedly stared at the half eaten meal. He gave Y/N a raised brow, and while the model would normally smile and reassure the man that they would eat later, their face was full of shock, “What do you mean a ‘few days?’”
Bruce wiped the corner of his lips with a napkin, “A few days. Rest here for a few days, it’ll be good for you and for everyone else.” Y/N gulped, “Why is it good for everyone else if I stay?”
“Of course it’s good for us. Family sticks together obviously, and with you running off, it really sent things haywire.” There it was again. The phrase ‘running off’ as if it was something Y/N actually did. They smiled, “You’re sounding like Tim. I did not run off, I moved out.” Bruce’s brow furrowed, “ ‘Moved out,’ huh. I didn’t realize moving out meant leaving without so much as a goodbye.”
“The things you left behind, you scheduled people to grab them and throw them out. Alfred was the one to stop them from touching your room,” Dick stated. Those blue eyes keep Y/N locked in their seat. The smile on the oldest sibling’s face was anything but kind, “It’s like you wanted to erase yourself from this manor. You left behind almost nothing that would trace you to us.”
“Not a number to call. We had to get it from Alfred,” Jason chimed, taking a bite of the chocolate mousse cake.
“Or a letter explaining where you went.” Damian took a sip of the tea.
“Or an address.” Tim gulped his cup of coffee, all of them watching Y/N. They way their sibling’s shoulders tensed and that fake smile became more and more downturned. Bruce spoke once more, “It seems like you don’t even want to be a Wayne. Taking your mother’s last name despite the controversies.”
Y/N’s smile turned bitter, “I took her last name because Wayne is more influential and I wanted to start with as little influence as possible. Plus, legally my last name is still L/N.” Bruce met Y/N’s gaze, “And look how many speculations you got for drug use.”
“...Since when did you read gossip?”
“The moment my kid’s photo is attached to that piece of gossip.” Y/N is still aware of all the blogs accusing them of drug-use, the same blogs that accused M/N. People using her photos to compare their features and just cause more drama.
Y/N took a bite of the cheesecake, and the tension at the table was thick. Usually it was between Dick and Bruce, or Jason and Bruce. Never between Y/N though. Although, Y/N never spoke at the table so maybe that is why they were arguing? Can this even be considered an argument?
Alfred cleared his throat, “While talking is appreciated, arguments stay away from the dinner table.” So it was an argument. Y/N apologized to the man and took another bite of the cheesecake. Their mind filled with the workout they are going to have to do to burn this off.
++++
Alfred watched the child he considered a grandchild drink their tea, brewed in the darkness of the kitchen and now sitting at the dinner table again. While a year may not seem long, for Alfred it was. Y/N, who had been there for half a decade, had been glued to Alfred’s side. The man always taking the teen to and from school, and then sometimes to their gigs.
It was Alfred that took Y/N to their first audition to be a model, and it seems like it was only a few days before he received a call from a woman claiming to be M/N L/N’s manager, and while she may not be Y/N’s manager, her daughter will be. Alfred liked Maya. The young woman always let him know of Y/N’s gigs, she would pick the young teen up and drop him off, and she tried to be as helpful as she could. Maya was a woman born to manage models and their busy and demanding schedules.
What Alfred didn’t like, was that Maya still had the old school model critiques. Alfred gaped at the woman when she handed him a list of diets for Y/N to ‘lose weight.’ A 15 year old Y/N, who was already slender, now being told they had to be skinny but toned. A child being told that ice cream was no longer an option, and their favorite burgers were banned.
He furrowed at the training regime, wondering how agencies can expect a teenager to be toned like their already full adult models. Nonstop cardio, ab workouts, and toning exercises. Then strut practice, because if Y/N was M/N’s child, then they were made for the runway. Born to walk in front of cameras and audiences.
“If Y/N wants to be a model, then sacrifices have to be made,” Was Maya’s response to Alfred's inquiries. She assured him that Y/N would still be eating, and she encouraged Y/N to eat, but now those meals were restricted to certain foods.
Alfred watched as Y/N struggled at first, their own plate different from the others, and how the blisters on their toes and heels bled through their socks and bandaids. The old man watched as the training and strut practice became an everyday routine. Y/N walked on the wobbling plyboard, barely wide enough for one foot, and the amount of times they fell off of it. The books stacked on their head for good posture and balance, followed by walking on an incline in those uncomfortable shoes, then training the muscles to the point of exhaustion.
He had watched the child-like baby fat on Y/N’s cheeks melt off and expose cheekbones that looked tight against the skin. Y/N still looked beautiful, not more or less, but Alfred could see the exhaustion in those young eyes and how Y/N juggles modeling and being a student.
Y/N didn’t even go to their high school graduation, choosing instead to head to Paris for their first ever abroad photoshoot. That kickstarted the traveling and runway model career. Once Y/N got their highschool diploma, they were out the door and becoming busier and busier.
“I see you still drink onion skin tea so late at night.” Y/N smiled up at Alfred, “Of course. I was shocked to see that you still keep the skins.” The older man sat across from Y/N, nursing his own cup of tea “Of course. In case you ever visited, I thought it would be great to have some in stock.” Y/N gave Alfred a ‘really?’ look, continuing to sip on the still hot tea.
“I saw the piece you wore today,” Alfred started the conversation.
“It truly is a beautiful piece of work.” Y/N’s jaw clenched, “Did you know about-” Y/N waved a hand in the air, “- about Bruce calling to commission a piece?” The old man took a sip of the earl gray. Y/N shook their head, unable to be upset, “Alfred, a call about that would have been appreciated.”
“An address would also be appreciated but seeing as you have withheld that information, I saw no harm in sharing Master Bruce’s commission.” Y/N deflated, rubbing their forehead with their fingers, “Alfie-”
“You only use that name when you know you’re about to be in trouble, so you might as well just say it, Young Master Y/N.” Y/N’s cheeks blushed and their lips pouted, “Alfie, I told you that the reason I didn’t tell you my address is because I am always traveling. I’d feel awful if you showed up and I wasn’t there.”
“There’s a wonderful contraption called a cellphone, Young Master Y/N. I would call before making that trek over.” Y/N groaned, setting his cup down and trying not to crumble in front of the grandfather figure. Answering to Alfred was always harder than answering to Bruce.
“Alfie–”
“Young Master Y/N, I understand your hesitancy is sharing in your life with others. Life was lonely here, and I understand wanting to forget that. However, having only a number to call you is terrifying. What if something happens and I cannot help you?” Y/N gazed sadly at Alfred, “Life wasn’t lonely, Alfie. I had you, right?”
Alfred Pennyworth, Y/N’s saving grace and lifeline. The person who is proof that Y/N was not alone in the Wayne Manor. The butler always willing to lend an ear when Y/N vented their frustrations, and when tears escaped their E/C eyes. He is Y/N’s biggest supporter. Always buying a magazine that had Y/N in it, and he would listen to Y/N critique the pose and the facial expression. Then he would give Y/N a slice of cheesecake and compliment Y/N, in both the photo and in person.
Always reassuring the other that a cheat day will not set him back, and rest is what the body needs the most. Reassuring Y/N that their mother would be proud, that Bruce notices them, and that Y/N’s siblings do in fact love them.
“Besides, why would you even want to visit? My place wouldn’t be as grand as this–”
“It would be to make sure your fridge is stocked and that you are eating. You have always been the worst when it comes to eating, and I worry that your fridge and pantry are empty.” Alfred doesn’t have to guess that Y/N’s fridge is empty, because he knows it is.
He knows that Y/N’s fridge is empty besides some drinks, and that the pantry is only snacks. While Y/N may have the excuse of being gone for so long, traveling and whatnot, Alfred knows that Y/N does not spend a lot of money on food. Y/N spends more money on clothes, jewlery, facial and hair care products, than they do on groceries.
Y/N doesn’t even look ashamed. Nervous, yeah, but not ashamed. They sip their tea without making eye contact. Time to change the subject.
“Why is Bruce, and all the boys, all of a sudden interested in what I do?” Alfred didn’t Y/N out on the obvious change in conversation, but he let it slide. The old man sighed, “Why would a parent not be interested in what their child is doing?”
“Alfred.”
“Young Master Y/N, you have worked tirelessly to get to the position you are now. With no help from the family, you had spent your late mother’s money to audition, then to pay your managers, and now you are making it big within the industry. Is it wrong for a parent to congratulate their child?” Y/N bit their  lip, “So its because I’m finally someone now? Was I not worth attention because I chose not to be Robin?”
“Young Master Y/N–”
“I don’t care about that. Like I told Bruce, it wasn’t abuse or anything, he just simply didn’t have time for me and that’s fine. I’m not mad about that.” Alfred watched Y/N get worked up, and E/C begin to shift in nervousness, “What I am talking about is why did Bruce pay off my Condo, and why does he have access to my bank account?”
Silence fell across the table. Y/N staring at Alfred expectantly, while the butler finished his tea. Once done, he grabbed his and Y/N’s tea cup and headed towards the kitchen.
“Perhaps, that is a Master Bruce question.” Y/N made a sound of annoyance, throwing themselves back into the chair and scrunching their nose. Standing up from the table, Y/N said goodnight to Alfred, and proceeded up that stairs and into dark hallways. Y/N wasn’t ready to go back to the guest room, feeling their heart rate spike whenever they thought of the replicated room.
Instead, they walked down familiar halls towards a room-now-turned-trophy room. They reached for the doorknob, but found themselves unable to open it. Y/N didn’t want to see all the photos Alfred had kept throughout the years. Rather, what caught Y/N’s attention was the lacking of doors in the hallway. There used to be two more doors on their left, but instead there was now one. The area where the second door was, was perfectly sealed and now blended into the wall.
Y/N took a deep breath, and opened the door. They used to be guest rooms as well. The two rooms had queen-sized beds and armoires for the unexpected guests that popped up. Y/N’s room used to be a guest-room, but they ended up liking the privacy because no one else’s room was around their’s. In fact, it was the guest room across from Y/N’s room that they had turned into the practice room, seeing that no one came down this hallway.
However, clearly people were not because of the renovation done.
When the door opened, Y/N sought out the light switch. The room was pitch black, and the last thing Y/N wanted to do was trip over something. Feeling around the wall, Y/N rejoiced when they felt the familiar switch and flicked it on. Once the bright light filled the room, Y/N took a deep breath. They were expecting a game room, or an indoor swimming people because that seems like something a rich person would do. Turning two guest rooms into a pool despite it being on the second floor.
Something not exactly normal, but expected.
Y/N didn’t expect this. Gone was the wall that separated the two bedrooms, making it one long room, and all the furniture was absent. No more beds, armoires, and it looks like even the bathrooms were gutted and turned into part of the room. All the tables, rugs, sofas, everything that was once in those rooms, were now gone besides the chandeliers that hung on the ceiling. Filling the room with a bright light, that didn’t fit the manor aesthetic at all, and illuminating everything that was in the room.
While the furniture was gone, the room was not empty. Mannequins lined the walls, on their own podiums and glass cases. While seeing them bare would have been scary, seeing them dressed in the clothes that Y/N had worn on the runways was more terrifying. Y/N, in the runway season alone, walked 86 shows. That is the runways season alone, not including the other smaller shows they have done since graduating high school almost a year ago.
These weren’t all of the clothes they have worn, there was still a large amount and they were the most iconic pieces. Pieces that a designer would never want to give someone.
Y/N walked further in, taking in the first mannequin on the right, and they noted that the mannequin looked eerily similar to Y/N. Only missing the facial features and hair, but it looked like the proportions were almost spot on.
The plastic doll had on the outfit from a runway show earlier in the year, when Y/N walked for Versace. A simple long blazer with deep V cut, stopping mid-thighs where only an inch of skin was shown before thigh boots bedazzled in gold, diamonds, emeralds, and other precious jewels took over the rest of the legs. The earrings they wore were poked into the mannequin's own ears and the bracelets hung off the dainty wrists. In the glass case, next to the mannequin, was the photo taken of Y/N when they were walking.
The next case was a piece they wore when walking for a newer fashion-designer, one that Y/N did for free just to get to their name out there, and the piece was a gorgeous suit, dyed a beautiful vermillion red that had the slighted shimmer of gold in it. Y/N’s runway photo was once again next to the mannequin.
The entire room was full of these iconic runway looks, with Y/N’s photo right next to them, and they surrounded all sides of the room and some of them in the middle. Almost like an art gallery of sorts, and Y/N looked at every single one of them. Not in amazement or judgment, but more of horror.
Y/N knows some of these fashion designers. They have known some of them since they were a child and watching their mom get fitted by these exact same designers. No matter how much she begged, they would never let her take one of their creations home. These clothes were meant to be either safe-guarded in a museum, in their own collection, or in some cases bought by a celebrity and worn to an award ceremony as advertisement.
In other words, Y/N knows that some of these designers would rather gnaw off an arm then give away their precious creations. Yet, here some of those precious creations were, hanging on the mannequin shaped like the model.
In the center of the room, like it was the main show, was the Batman-inspired piece. All that was missing was the photo, which wouldn’t be published for another few weeks.
Taking a deep breath, they stared at the reflection in the gold-plated bat. They were trying to process all of this. It’s one thing to have photos, because Y/N is a model and photos are expected, but to have the actual clothes they wore. Clothes that Y/N knows the designers would kill for, dressed on mannequins that looked almost exactly like Y/N was another thing.
Y/N backed out of the room, turning the lights off and shutting the door silently. They stared at their own door, sweat beginning to break out on their forehead, and they went against their instincts and opened that door.
A trophy room, Alfred had said. The walls are decorated in their photos, and the bed is still as immaculate as the day they left. Turning the lights on, Y/N couldn’t help but to smile as the time capsule in front of them. From their very first photoshoot, when Y/N was a gangly 15-year-old with still chubby cheeks, to the most recent photoshoot of a now 18 almost 19-year-old Y/N. Their confidence can be seen in their pose and gaze, something their younger self lacked.
Y/N walked closer to the walls and looked at all the different photos. Some candid, some posed, some in the water, and there’s one where they are in Greece. Some had Y/N fully clothed with barely and inch of skin, and some were of Y/N with barely an inch of clothes. From makeup, to shoes, to perfume, to clothes, Y/N’s photo was pinned on the wall or framed.
A photo caught their attention though. It wasn’t one from a website, or a magazine, but an actual photo. Y/N looked closer, and they recognized the set from when they were 16-years-old posing for an editorial magazine.
However, the angle in which this photo was taken from, Y/N knows there were no cameras there. All the cameras were in front or on the side, not behind. Another photo caught their eyes, and it was the same thing. A photo from behind.
Once they started looking for them, Y/N could begin to spot them all. Photos that they know no photographer took. There was one that had their blood chilling and fear rising in their chest. It was a photo, taken at night and through one of the windows in Y/N’s condo. Y/N had one wall in the living room that was basically all windows, letting in the morning sun and led out onto the gated terrace. It was high enough that they had no neighbors that could look through those windows.
In the photo, Y/N was wearing their pajamas and their hair still looked wet. They were sitting on the counter of the island in their kitchen, eating raspberries and watching Youtube on their TV. It was such a close photo, close enough that the reflection can be seen in the glass.
Y/N recognizes the blue and black, and when Y/N’s eyes drifted to another photo of them in their home, bile rose into their throats. The morning sun illuminated the warm neutral color palette in the living room, and Y/N was out on the terrace sitting at the patio table they had set up out there drinking a cup of coffee and reading a book. They had their shirt off, exposing ribs pulled tightly against skin and abs that remained toned even when Y/N wasn’t flexing. The shorts they had on exposing soft skin and pedicured feet, their slipped laid forgotten under the chair they were sitting in.
They recognize that book. It was a book they read in the height of summer, meaning that this photo was taken half a year ago, when it was okay to sit outside in the warm summer mornings and let the skin begin to circulate.
What chilled Y/N even more was that whoever took this photo was on their terrace with them. They were on Y/N’s terrace, and Y/N didn’t even know. The Wayne family has known Y/N’s address the entire time. They knew where Y/N was staying, they knew Y/N’s photoshoot schedules, and they knew Y/N better than Y/N thought they did.
“I didn’t think you’d come in here.” Y/N’s head whipped around and there was Dick, or Nightwing, still in costume and smiling at them.
“The hell is this?” Y/N held up the photo of them on the terrace, and Dick shrugged, “I’ll admit, those photos we took. But we didn’t take the other ones.”
“What other ones?” “The ones of you at the photoshoots. I know you saw them, but we didn’t take those.” Y/N glared at Dick, and pushed themselves close to the wall as Dick walked in. Damian was right behind him. The oldest brother walked to the photo that originally caught Y/N’s attention, “You had a stalker, can you believe that? He took hundreds of photos of you, and all we did was make him stop.”
Y/N’s lips pursed, “How do I know you’re not lying?” Dick unpinned the photo, and with Damian’s help, trapped Y/N against the wall next to the photo of them outside. He held up the photo, “Because, Y/N, as you can see we prefer more… candid photos then staged.”
Y/N snapped, “There is nothing candid about that photo! That is an invasion of privacy! Trespassing! So is that one!” They pointed to one of them sitting on the counter. Damian grabbed their arm, and Y/N wanted nothing more than to shove the kid off.
“And so is that one.” Dick pointed to one of Y/N wearing only a large shirt, a towel around their shoulders as they walked into their kitchen.
“And that one.”
“And that one.”
“That one there.”
“There’s that one too.” Y/N looked at all the photos, hidden next to the magazine photos, and they were all of them in their home. Horror morphed on Y/N’s face when there was one photo of Y/N in the bedroom, in the midst of taking their shirt off.
Dick continued to smile, and Y/N could see Jason and Tim peeking in from the doorway.
“You did a lot on your own, Y/N. You built a name for yourself, became a highly sought after model, it really is amazing.” Dick walked closer, “But you know what all of those photos have in common?” Y/N stared into blue eyes, terror swimming in those E/C eyes of theirs.
“You aren’t even aware of your photo being taken.” The truth unsettled Y/N enough to try and squirm out of Damian’s grip and to get away from Dick. They didn’t need to be pointed out. Y/N is aware that in every photo taken without their permission, they were not once aware of it. Even when they looked like they would be only a few feet away, Y/N not once looked bothered. Y/N doesn’t even remember that feeling of being watched.
Tim and Jason stepped in the room, making it seem crowded and even if Y/N got out of Damian’s grip, there was no way they were getting past all of them.
Large hands gripped Y/N’s forearms, feeling like they would bruise the skin if Y/N struggled.
“So tell your big brother Y/N, how do you expect us to trust you on your own when you can’t even notice someone on your terrace?”

I read the yandere! Streamer jing yuan and saw there's a yandere! Streamer Sunday.. was wondering if you would do a yandere! Streamer Aventurine, too please?
Yandere!Streamer Aventurine x Reader
Tumblr media
Aventurine was obsessed. Not just with the game, Eclipsed Fates: Arcane Romance, but specifically with you.
And as a high-profile streamer, he made no secret of it.
"Alright, chat, you already know the drill." His voice oozed confidence as he lounged in his high-end gaming chair, adjusting his headset. "Tonight, we're doing another playthrough of Y/N’s route. Yeah, yeah, I know I’ve already maxed out their affection a dozen times, but let me have this. They’re the only one worthy of my time, after all."
The chat exploded.
"Bro is down BAD." "Another [Y/N] simp stream, let's gooo." "At this point, just marry your screen."
He smirked, barely glancing at the comments. His fingers danced across the keyboard as he navigated the dialogue choices, always picking the options that would make you smile—or, at the very least, smirk approvingly.
"This is it, chat. My favorite part. The moment Y/N finally acknowledges that they’re mine."
And then—
A flicker of the screen.
Aventurine barely had time to react before his entire setup exploded in a burst of light.
When he opened his eyes, sitting across from him, staring in confusion, was—
You.
Aventurine was used to getting what he wanted.
So when he found himself inside the game world, in a lavish office lined with scrolls and golden embellishments, draped in the elegant robes of a high-ranking noble… well.
This was even better.
"Marquis Aventurine, are you feeling unwell?"
He let out a breathless chuckle, rolling his gloved fingers against the polished surface of his desk. "Marquis, huh?" His gaze flicked over the surroundings, the faintest smirk playing on his lips. "So that's the role I've been given."
He tilted his head, feigning curiosity. "And what is our relationship, exactly?"
Your eyes narrowed. "You don’t remember?"
You exhaled, rubbing your temple, frustration bleeding into your otherwise composed features. "You oversee imperial intelligence. I report directly to you."
"I see. And tell me— Do you admire me?"
Your brows knit together. "Respect and admiration are not the same thing, my lord."
So even here, even when he outranked you, you still had that pride.
"You really haven’t changed at all." he murmured, mostly to himself.
"What?"
"Nothing." His grin was dazzling. "Let’s get along from now on, shall we?"
Aventurine was a fast learner.
It was a necessity in his line of work—reading opponents, analyzing patterns, knowing exactly what buttons to push to get what he wanted.
But today?
Today was an absolute disaster.
His first mistake? Assuming he could navigate the world like a normal person.
After your meeting in his grand office, he had confidently strolled out, intending to get a feel for the empire. He had expected the typical game mechanics—click on NPCs, gather intel, maybe a quest or two.
Instead, the entire day glitched past him in a blur.
One second, he was observing the bustling courtyards, taking in the regal architecture—
The next?
It was nighttime.
Aventurine stopped dead in his tracks, staring at the dark sky, his breath catching slightly. What? He swore he had only blinked. The sun had been right there.
The palace halls, once lively with officials and servants, were now eerily quiet. And worse—
He was no longer in the palace.
The dim glow of lanterns flickered around him, the scent of expensive liquor and the soft shuffle of cards filling the air. He was inside a hidden gambling den, tucked away in what was likely the empire’s underground elite circles.
What the hell?
There was no logical transition. No sense of time passing. It was as if the game had just… skipped ahead.
Was this a bug? A glitch in the system?
"Well… this is interesting."
Still, if the game had dropped him here, there had to be a reason.
He adjusted the elegant cuffs of his robe, taking in the lavish surroundings. Wealthy nobles and shadowy figures whispered behind ivory masks, placing bets in hushed tones. Gambling, huh?
If he wanted to understand his new identity, he needed information.
Aventurine stepped into a quieter corner and whispered:
"System, show character profile."
[Character Profile: Aventurine] Title: Imperial Spymaster | Noble of High Status Skills: Espionage | Strategy | Deception | High-Stakes Gambling (???) Reputation: Unpredictable | Charismatic | ??? Relationships: — [Y/N]: Imperial Strategist (Loyalty: 70, Favorability: ???) — Emperor: Trusted (Barely) — Nobles: Feared & Respected — Underground Circles: VIP Access
Aventurine’s gaze sharpened.
The gambling skill. The VIP access. The way he had been teleported here. Was this something his character did every night? Some hidden mechanic the players never had access to?
And—wait.
[Y/N]: Loyalty 70, Favorability: ???
"Question marks?" Aventurine narrowed his eyes. Favorability should have been a number. It was a trackable stat in the game. But here? It was unreadable.
If the system wouldn’t give him a number, he’d just have to measure it himself.
The system was glitchy. The world wasn’t following normal rules. And his role was clearly more complex than he had anticipated.
But none of that mattered.
Because at the end of the day, this was still his game.
Aventurine had seen countless playthroughs of your character’s story. The brilliant strategist. The one who climbed to power with nothing but sheer intelligence and determination. The one who stood among nobles despite coming from a civilian background.
It was one of the things that fascinated him about you.
So when he saw you surrounded by sneering nobles in the palace courtyard, your jaw set with defiance despite their mocking words—
Oh, he did not like that.
"You really think you belong here?" A young nobleman scoffed, flicking his fan open with a dramatic flair. "You may be the empire’s strategist, but that doesn’t change what you are."
"Indeed. No amount of clever words can change your birthright, can it?"
Their words were sharp, but you stood your ground. You always did.
"If birth determined one’s worth, then surely you wouldn’t need to insult me to feel superior."
"You should watch that tongue of yours, commoner. It would be unfortunate if someone decided they didn’t like your presence in the court."
Before they could take another step—
A hand landed on the noble’s shoulder.
"Oh? That’s quite the statement. I’d love to hear what gives you the right to decide who belongs here."
"M-Marquis—"
"That’s Lord Aventurine to you," he corrected, "And, as far as I recall, our dear strategist holds one of the highest positions in the empire. Are you suggesting the emperor himself made a mistake in appointing them?"
The nobles exchanged uneasy glances.
Aventurine chuckled, finally releasing his grip. "Ah, but perhaps I misheard. Surely, you wouldn’t be so foolish as to question imperial authority, hmm?"
"O-Of course not, my lord."
"Good. Then I suggest you walk away. Before I decide to start questioning your worth."
They scrambled to leave, their arrogance crumbling in an instant.
Aventurine turned to you, amusement dancing in his gaze.
"That was unnecessary."
He tilted his head. "Was it? I rather enjoyed it."
"I didn’t need your help."
"I know. But it was fun, wasn’t it? Watching them squirm?"
"You enjoy playing with people, don’t you?"
"Only when they’re unworthy."
----
Aventurine was used to being adored.
His viewers, his chat, the characters in the game—he had always known how to manipulate favorability. Charm was second nature to him.
So when he checked his system later that night and saw—
[Favorability Update: -5]
—he nearly dropped his glass of wine.
"Minus?"
Aventurine scoffed, setting the glass down with a sharp clink against the desk. His eyes narrowed at the glowing screen, as if sheer force of will could make the number go back up.
"This is ridiculous. I defended them. Put those arrogant nobles in their place. That should’ve gained me points, not lost them."
What went wrong?
Aventurine sighed, leaning back in his chair. It was late. The oil lamp flickered beside him, casting warm shadows against the towering bookshelves of his study. He had been trying to piece together the logic of this world, but his thoughts kept circling back to you.
What do I need to do to make you mine?
The exhaustion of the day crept up on him, and before he realized it—his eyes shut.
You weren’t expecting him to be asleep.
When you stepped into his study, documents in hand, you had fully anticipated the usual: a smug remark, a lazy smirk, some infuriatingly smooth comment meant to test your patience.
Instead, you found him slumped over his desk, deep in sleep.
For a moment, you hesitated.
This was Marquis Aventurine. The man with the sharpest tongue in the court. The one who was unpredictable, charming, and entirely too pleased with himself.
But right now, the soft glow of the oil lamp made his features appear less sharp, more peaceful. His hand was still lightly curled around a quill, as if he had dozed off mid-thought.
It would be very easy to just leave him like this.
And yet— Before you could talk yourself out of it, you moved closer, carefully draping a thick blanket over his shoulders.
He barely stirred, only shifting slightly at the warmth.
---
Aventurine woke up feeling… different.
His brows furrowed slightly as he blinked away sleep. His study was still dimly lit, the documents still scattered on his desk. But something was different.
A blanket. Draped over him.
"So that’s how it is?"
With a lazy flick of his wrist, he called the system.
[Favorability Update: ???]
His smirk faltered.
Still unreadable.
"Am I… actually losing control?"
----
Aventurine had always been confident in his skills, after a few nights in the hidden gambling den, he realized something astonishing.
His luck was beyond anything human.
He didn’t just win. He always won.
Cards, dice, roulette—every game played into his hands like fate itself bent to his will. Even in situations where probability should have turned against him, he somehow walked away with everything.
Was this part of his character’s hidden abilities? A built-in advantage coded into the game? Or was it simply him—a streamer from another world—breaking the system?
Either way, he wasn’t about to waste it.
He started frequenting the den, not just for the thrill, but for information.
He had learned that in this world, gambling wasn’t just about money. It was power, influence, and secrets—things that he could use to his advantage.
Suddenly, you showed up.
Aventurine had been enjoying a quiet evening, leisurely flipping a gold coin between his fingers when he spotted you entering the den.
Well, well.
And here I thought they hated places like this.
His curiosity piqued, he smoothly stood and followed behind.
You seemed tense, scanning the tables until your eyes landed on a young man seated among a pile of scattered bets.
"Xevian." you said firmly.
The man—Xevian—stiffened before forcing a laugh. "Ah, Y/N! Didn’t expect to see you here."
Aventurine leaned against a nearby pillar, arms crossed, watching the exchange unfold.
"I need to talk to you," you continued. "Your father—he’s worried sick. You need to stop this before it’s too late."
At the mention of his father, Xevian’s face twisted. "No. You don’t understand. I just need one more round. Just one more win, and I can—"
"You said that last time," you interrupted, "How much have you lost, Xevian? How much more before you realize this isn’t the answer?"
Aventurine smirked, already seeing where this was going.
"You wouldn’t get it! You didn’t grow up in my position!"
Finally, you exhaled, your shoulders dropping slightly. "I just… I don’t want to see you ruin yourself."
For a moment, it seemed like Xevian might listen. That maybe, just maybe, your words had reached him.
The dealer called out the next round, and Xevian turned away, throwing himself back into the game without hesitation.
You stared at him, something dimming in your expression.
Then, without another word, you walked away.
Aventurine pushed off the pillar, smoothly falling into step beside you as you left the den.
"That was quite the show," he mused, "Didn’t expect you to be the type to chase after reckless gamblers."
"He’s not just any gambler. His father—Sir Edric—saved my life once. I owe him."
Aventurine hummed. "And yet, your dear Xevian doesn’t seem very… receptive."
Your expression darkened slightly, but you said nothing.
He grinned. "So, what’s your next move?"
"There isn’t one," you muttered. "I can’t force him to listen."
Aventurine stopped walking. "Then let me handle it."
"You?"
"Oh, come now. Surely you’ve noticed by now—I never lose."
"And you think gambling will fix this?"
"Not just gambling," he corrected. "Winning. If I take away everything he has, force him to face the reality of his losses, maybe he’ll start listening to you."
"I don’t trust gamblers"
Aventurine chuckled. "Good. I’d be disappointed if you did." Then, his voice softened, "But this time, Y/N… just this once, trust me."
You stared at him, conflict warring in your gaze.
"Fine. Just this once."
----
Aventurine had always known that the most effective lessons were the ones people felt in their bones.
Xevian wouldn’t listen to words. He needed to experience ruin.
So, Aventurine set the stage.
Getting Xevian to play was easy. All it took was a few well-placed words, the right amount of condescension, and a slight push to his pride.
“You’re good? Prove it.”
The young noble fell for it instantly.
They played a high-stakes game of chance, and as expected—Aventurine didn’t lose a single round.
It didn’t take long before Xevian had wagered everything—his money, his heirloom ring, and even the deed to his estate.
Then came the final blow.
"Ah, how unfortunate." Aventurine leaned back with a smirk, examining the losing dice roll like it was the most natural outcome in the world. "Looks like you’re completely bankrupt."
Xevian paled. "No… I-I just need another chance—"
"No second chances," Aventurine interrupted smoothly, gesturing to the guards standing nearby. "Take him."
The moment Xevian opened his mouth to protest, a cloth was shoved over his eyes. Blindfolded, restrained, and utterly powerless, he was dragged away as the murmurs of the crowd filled his ears.
He was about to learn.
Xevian woke up in chains. Around him, he heard voices—slaves whispering about their fate. About being sold to a distant land where no one would ever find them.
The guards, the merchants, the fake "buyers"—all actors, expertly placed to terrify Xevian into believing he had truly lost everything.
For a week, he was forced to work relentlesslyhauling crates, enduring harsh orders, sleeping on the cold ground with nothing but scraps of food.
Every attempt to bargain or beg was ignored.
Every night, he was left to wonder if this was truly the end of his privileged life.
And just when his hope was completely shattered—
The illusion ended.
The chains were removed.
And Xevian was told—
"Go home."
Xevian returned as a different man.
The arrogance in his eyes had vanished, replaced by a haunted, broken look. He avoided gambling dens, refused to touch dice, and listened to his father for once in his life.
At first, you thought he had simply learned his lesson after losing everything.
It wasn’t just regret. It was fear. And when you pressed him for answers, he refused to speak.
There was only one person who could be responsible for this.
You found Aventurine exactly where you expected—lounging in his study, idly flipping a gold coin between his fingers.
"Ah, Y/N," he drawled, lazily resting his chin on his hand. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"
"What did you do to Xevian?"
"Why, whatever do you mean? I simply helped a lost soul find enlightenment."
"That’s not an answer."
He tapped the coin against the desk. "Xevian has changed for the better, hasn’t he? Shouldn’t you be thanking me?"
"He looks traumatized."
"Lesson learned, then."
"...You planned this from the start, didn’t you?"
"Of course, I told you, didn’t I? I never lose."
Aventurine expected a reward.
A smile. A small thank-you. Maybe even a slight increase in favorability.
[-10 Favorability]
The invisible notification might as well have been a knife to the chest.
Wait. What did I do wrong?
Why—
Why were you looking at him like that?
Why did you turn away without a word and leave him standing there?
You threw yourself into work, hoping to drown out your thoughts about Aventurine. But just as you were finishing up your tasks, a messenger arrived.
"Sir Edric wishes to see you."
You sighed. You already knew what this was about.
At his estate, Edric greeted you with a warm smile, placing a firm hand on your shoulder.
"You did well," he said. "Xevian has finally come to his senses. I don’t know what you said to him, but I cannot thank you enough."
This wasn’t your doing.
It was Aventurine’s.
Still, you didn’t argue.
"You’ve done so much for my family" he said. "And you know, you’re at the right age to start thinking about your own future."
"…What do you mean by that?"
The older man chuckled. "I’ve arranged a meeting for you. He’s a fine man from a good family—"
Your mind went blank for a second.
"I appreciate your concern," you said carefully. "But I don’t—"
"It’s just a meeting," Edric interrupted kindly. "No pressure. Just think about it, alright?"
-----
Dressed appropriately but keeping your expectations low, you made your way toward the arranged meeting place.
Aventurine, who had been brooding about his plummeting favorability, had just stepped out into the city when he spotted you from afar.
His irritation vanished instantly.
His keen gaze followed your every step.
Then, as if fate were mocking him, a group of overly enthusiastic noble ladies flocked around him.
"Aventurine, darling! You must see these silks—"
"Marquis Aventurine, try this perfume—"
"Oh! You must buy something for your sweetheart, yes?"
His eye twitched.
Not now.
Trying not to physically push them aside, he plastered on his usual charming smile while mentally tracking your direction.
Where are they headed?
Then, you walked into a fancy restaurant.
Aventurine's expression darkened slightly.
…Wait. That’s a place for…
No.
No, no, no.
That wasn’t—
That couldn’t be—
And just like that, Aventurine abandoned the noble ladies, his mind racing with a single, burning question:
Who the hell are they meeting?
Aventurine had always been a man who calculated risks before making his move.
But right now?
He was making a very impulsive decision.
Standing at the entrance of the fancy restaurant, he scanned the room—and the moment he spotted you, smiling and laughing with another man, something in his chest twisted.
That should be him.
He didn’t even think.
The next thing he knew, a waiter was knocked out cold in the back room, hidden behind stacked crates. Aventurine smoothly adjusted the stolen uniform, fixing the cuffs, then grabbed a tray and walked back out as if nothing happened.
Now, he was close enough to hear your conversation.
And he hated every second of it.
what was his name? Who cared?—said something charming.
Aventurine kept his expression neutral, even as he seethed internally.
If there was one thing Aventurine excelled at, it was rigging the game.
A slip of a harmless yet effective powder into the man’s drink as he turned to call the waiter.
He watched as your date took a few sips, continued the conversation for a few minutes… then suddenly stood up abruptly, his face paling.
"Pardon me, I— I need to step out for a moment" he said hurriedly.
He barely made it to the restroom.
Aventurine smirked.
Perfect. Now, it was his turn.
You blinked in surprise when Aventurine suddenly slid into the seat across from you.
"What are you doing here?"
"What a coincidence, isn’t it? I happened to be in the area."
"In a waiter’s uniform?"
"Exploring new experiences, of course. One must always broaden their horizons."
"You know," he murmured, "you have something here."
Before you could react, his fingers brushed against the corner of your lips, swiping away a bit of cream from your dessert.
Your heart skipped a beat.
He examined the cream on his fingertip, then—without breaking eye contact—he licked it off.
"A shame," he mused, as if nothing had happened. "Would’ve been a waste to let it go uneaten."
You quickly cleared your throat, looking away. "That was unnecessary."
-----
You were going about your day as usual, completely unaware of the chaos happening just a few streets away.
While you were organizing documents, checking over supplies, or perhaps handling some errands—
Aventurine was handling something else entirely.
A shadow slithered across the rooftops.
They were careful, precise, a professional through and through.
Too bad they didn’t account for Aventurine’s presence.
Bang.
A bullet tore through their leg, sending them crashing down onto the cobblestone streets below.
Aventurine sighed, casually stepping onto the edge of the rooftop, looking down at the writhing figure.
"Sloppy" he mused, twirling his gun before tucking it away. "Who sent you?"
The assassin gritted their teeth, refusing to speak.
"That’s fine. I don’t actually care."
Then, with zero hesitation, he kicked them off the ledge—right into the waiting arms of the city guards he had bribed earlier.
"Take this one to jail," he instructed, dusting off his gloves. "Tell them I’ll send more soon."
By morning, another poor soul found themselves bound and gagged, being dragged into a dark prison cell.
The guards stationed there were already used to this.
"Another one?" One of them raised a brow as Aventurine strolled in, utterly unbothered, while the latest fool thrashed helplessly on the ground.
"You should really tighten security" Aventurine sighed dramatically. "I mean, how do these idiots keep sneaking in? It’s getting embarrassing."
The guard merely shook his head. "We’ll handle it."
Late afternoon.
While you were focused on work, Aventurine was beating the living daylights out of yet another group of thugs.
"Try harder" he mocked as he sidestepped an incoming dagger, grabbing the attacker’s wrist and twisting it until they screamed.
"Pathetic" Aventurine muttered, adjusting his sleeves. "You came all this way, and this is the best you can do?"
One of the injured men shakily pulled out a contract from his pocket, barely able to breathe.
Aventurine plucked it from his trembling fingers, skimming over the details.
"P-Please, I was just following orders—!"
"Tell your employers," he murmured, "that if they try this again…"
"I’ll start playing dirty."
The thug nodded frantically, his body shaking.
By the third day, He finished handling any threats that dare to approach you.
Aventurine dusted off his hands, satisfied.
Finally, peace and quiet.
Now, he could turn his attention back to you.
Aventurine was getting used to this world.
But this?
This was a whole new level of unexpected.
One moment, he was lounging in his study, pouring himself a glass of wine, flipping through reports on the people who had dared to go after you—
And the next—
He was somewhere else entirely.
The scent of warm bath oils lingered in the air.
Your room.
Aventurine blinked.
Then his eyes slowly trailed up— To you.
Standing at the doorway.
Fresh out of the bath.
Ah.…This was bad.
Your eyes widened in shock, "Aventurine." Your tone was deadly. "What. The. Hell. Are you doing in my room?"
Aventurine was a man of quick thinking.
He had seconds—no, milliseconds—to turn this situation in his favor.
So he did what he did best.
"Ah," he exhaled, "So this is what your private quarters look like. How cozy."
You grabbed the nearest object—a comb—and threw it at his head.
He caught it effortlessly, twirling it between his fingers before setting it down on your vanity with an amused chuckle.
"Relax," he said, tilting his head. "If I knew I’d be magically teleported here, I would’ve at least brought a gift."
You weren’t buying it.
"You’re trespassing," you hissed. "Explain. Now."
Aventurine sighed dramatically, placing a hand over his chest. "As much as I’d love to say I came here to steal a glance of you fresh out of the bath, I’m afraid the truth is far less scandalous."
"The glitch happened again," he said, "One second, I was in my study. The next, I was here."
You crossed your arms, still furious—but slightly less about to murder him.
Seeing the shift, Aventurine took a calculated risk.
He stepped closer.
You stiffened as he reached out—gently brushing a damp strand of hair from your face.
"If anything," he murmured, "you should be flattered."
Your eyes snapped up to his in disbelief.
"Flattered?"
"Think about it," he said, "Out of all the places in this world, the glitch sent me straight to you."
His fingers lingered for half a second longer before he finally pulled away.
"A sign, don’t you think?"
Your glare was unwavering.
"What glitch?" you demanded.
Aventurine opened his mouth to respond—
And then, before your very eyes, he vanished.
"Aventurine?"
The air where he once stood was empty.
Nothing.
Not even a trace.
The void swallowed him whole.
He barely had time to process what happened before a bright, mechanical ding echoed through the empty space.
A translucent screen popped up in front of him.
⚠ WARNING! ⚠
If Max Favorability is not reached in 3 days, the character "Aventurine" will be TERMINATED.
"Oh, come on."
If the system was going to pull this on him, then he needed to check his current favorability status.
With a flick of his wrist, another screen appeared.
[Character: Aventurine - Favorability Status]
Current Points: 55/100 Penalty Applied: -5 (Previous Incident) Recent Increase: +10 (??? Event in Room)
Aventurine whistled.
"Not bad" he mused, ignoring the penalty from earlier.
Still—55 wasn’t enough.
Not when his life was literally on the line.
He had three days to make you fall for him completely.
"Guess I’ll have to speed things up."
Day 1 - When the glitch spat him back into the world, he landed right in front of you again.
Instead of shock, your expression was pure suspicion.
"Alright," you crossed your arms. "Explain. Now."
Aventurine put on his most charming smile.
"It’s a bit complicated," he sighed, "but long story short? I need you to like me."
"Like you?"
"In the romantic sense" he clarified.
"Absolutely not."
"That’s fair! But hear me out—"
"You’ve already given me 55 favorability points without even trying," he pointed out. "Imagine how much more you’d give if I actually put in the effort."
With that, Operation: Win You Over began.
Step 1: Become the Perfect Gentleman
Aventurine pulled every trick in the book.
Carrying your things without being asked. "Wouldn’t want you to strain yourself, now would we?"
Guiding you by the waist through crowds. "Tsk, these people have no manners."
Holding out his hand. "Shall we?"
Flashing that charming, lazy smile every time you rolled your eyes.
You tried to ignore him.
You failed.
Your favorability rose by +5 that afternoon.
Step 2: Small but Thoughtful Gestures
A warm drink waiting for you on your desk. "Oh? You like it? What a coincidence—I guessed your favorite."
Fixing your cloak before you stepped outside. "Here—let me do it."
Sending a servant to make sure you ate. "Can’t have you collapsing on me, now can we?"
Your favorability ticked up another +5.
65/100. Not bad for Day 1.
Day 2 - Aventurine knew something very important about you.
You didn’t like being looked down on.
You hated being treated as lesser because of your civilian background.
So when he overheard some noble mocking you behind your back
Step 3: The Dramatic Rescue
"It’s funny, really. No matter how hard they try, people like them will never be one of us—"
"Is that so?"
"S-Sir Aventurine! I didn’t see you—"
"Clearly. And here I thought nobility required better manners."
"I wonder," he mused, "what would happen if I were to mention this little conversation to someone important?"
"Ah—w-we were just joking—"
"Oh, were you? Then laugh."
"Go on," Aventurine said, eyes gleaming. "If it’s so funny, why aren’t you laughing?"
The noble fled.
When you later heard what happened—
You were annoyed.
You didn’t need him to defend you.
But still…
Your favorability rose by +10.
75/100.
Day 3 - Aventurine had one day left. He needed something big.
Step 4: The Perfect Night
As the sun set, you received an invitation.
“Meet me at the garden. – Aventurine”
"What is he up to now?"
Still, curiosity won.
When you arrived—
The entire garden was transformed.
Hundreds of candles lined the pathways.
Soft, golden lights twinkled like stars above the fountain.
A table was set with fine silverware, exquisite dishes, and two glasses of wine.
Aventurine stood in the center—smirking, dressed in all black, looking effortlessly charming as always.
"Finally," he said, "I was beginning to think you wouldn’t come."
"What… is all this?"
Aventurine stepped closer, reaching for your hand.
"This," he murmured, "is my way of proving something."
"And what exactly are you proving?"
"That I can give you the world," he whispered. "All you have to do… is accept me."
+25
MAX FAVORABILITY REACHED
Just as your lips parted—
A pulse of glitching energy rippled through the garden, twisting the scenery like a shattered illusion.
Your vision blurred.
The soft candlelight, the warmth of Aventurine’s touch—everything shattered into fragments.
When the world stabilized, Aventurine found himself somewhere new.
A golden, endless space stretched before him. Floating panels flickered around him, displaying data, numbers, and system logs.
In front of him, a holographic screen appeared.
[Congratulations, Player Aventurine!]
As a reward, you may select ONE of the following options:
Complete Memory Reset – Your existence will be erased from Y/N’s mind. Start fresh.
Full Control – Modify Y/N’s personality, ensuring absolute devotion.
Selective Memory Erasure – Remove specific memories related to system mechanics.

He wanted you to love him naturally—to fall again and again, without ever knowing how much he had already twisted the game.
So, he tapped his selection.
(Y/N) will lose all memories related to system mechanics, favorability, and glitches.
A new message popped up.
Additional Effect: Your final interaction before memory reset will remain in their subconscious, leaving a lingering emotional attachment.
Perfect.
A soft breeze rustled through the garden. The scent of fresh roses filled the air.
You were still standing in front of Aventurine—but something felt… off.
Your head throbbed. A strange fog clouded your mind, like you had just forgotten something important.
"Well?" he prompted, "You never answered me."
You blinked again. "What?"
He chuckled, shaking his head.
"I proposed to you," he reminded. "And you still haven’t given me an answer."
Wait—he did?
Why couldn’t you remember?
You stared at him, feeling strangely flustered.
Aventurine only watched you with amused fascination.
You weren’t rejecting him immediately.
That meant his plan was already working.
To you, Aventurine was simply your persistent suitor—
One who had just proposed.
And now that he had reset the game, he was going to have so much fun toying with you.
After all—
He had all the time in the world.

Threes a formula
I know it’s not technically in the right order but I just saw valtteri doing this for the social media team (thank you full time influencer part time reserve) so I had to write Y/n into that scenario.
Word count: 461
Pairing: Toto Wolff x Susie Wolff x reader!nanny, feat. Jack
Summary: During the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend, Valtteri Bottas surprises Y/n with a fun karaoke question for Mercedes’ social media.
________________________________________________________
Chapter 9: Hopelessly Devoted (to the Paddock)
It was a golden, breezy afternoon in the Bahrain paddock, the first race weekend of the season buzzing with anticipation. Valtteri Bottas, on a rare return to the Mercedes garage for a media appearance, strolled around with a cheeky smile and a mic in hand, filming a lighthearted video for the team’s social channels.
“Hi everyone, it’s Valtteri,” he said into the camera, slipping back into familiar surroundings. “We’re back with a very serious paddock investigation. Today’s question: what is your favorite karaoke song?”
As he made his way through mechanics, engineers, and a very enthusiastic strategist who proudly declared Bohemian Rhapsody as his go-to, the camera followed Valtteri as he turned a corner and lit up.
“Ah, look who it is!” he grinned. “She’s not technically a team member, but honestly, she might as well be by now. It’s Miss Paddock Sunshine herself—Y/n L/n!”
Y/n turned, mid-sip of her iced coffee, with Jack Wolff holding her hand and squinting up at Valtteri. She laughed, already suspicious. “No, no, I know that look. What are you up to?”
“Just a little question,” Valtteri said innocently. “What’s your favorite karaoke song?”
Y/n blinked. “That’s what this is about?”
Jack tugged on her hand. “Tell him about the Olivia song!”
“Traitor,” she whispered dramatically to Jack before looking up at the camera. “Okay, fine. Hopelessly Devoted to You. From Grease. Don’t judge me.”
Valtteri raised his brows, impressed. “A very romantic, very classic choice. Now—can we hear a little bit?”
Y/n froze. “Excuse me?”
“Just one line. Come on, it’s for the fans.”
Jack nodded eagerly, “Please, Y/n! You sound so pretty when you sing it.”
Caught in the trap, Y/n rolled her eyes but couldn’t stop smiling. She cleared her throat, playfully stepping back.
“But now… there’s nowhere to hide, since you pushed my love aside…”
Her voice was soft but clear, effortlessly carrying the melody. She stopped quickly, eyes wide, covering her mouth with her hand as a few nearby engineers actually applauded.
Valtteri turned to the camera, deadpan. “Okay. That was way better than expected.”
Within hours, the clip hit social media—and exploded. Comments rolled in:
“I did NOT have Y/n being a Disney princess on my 2025 bingo card.”
“Her voice??? Toto, protect her at all costs.”
“Jack is her #1 fan and I love that for him.”
“She’s hopelessly devoted to the Wolffs, let’s be honest.”
Even George Russell posted the clip with a caption:
“When you find out the paddock queen is also a vocalist.”
And Susie? She shared it on her story with a single caption:
“Team karaoke night pending.”

Body Talk - Seong Gi-Hun x Fem!Reader (NSFW)
Tumblr media
Follow up Piece to:
Back Alley Bar Help Wanted
Synopsis: A night celebrating turns to something more when your hidden feelings finally bubble to the surface.
It was quiet in the bar tonight, Mondays usually were. You were grateful for the respite; glad you could use the time to cram some more for your exam. You weren’t sure how you’d made it to the end of your first year of university, but somehow you were on track to come top of your class. You’d managed to juggle studies while working two jobs and had stayed semi-sane in the process. You knew Seong Gi-Hun was to thank for that, always there to help if you were struggling, always making sure you had a smile on your face. He was next to you now, quizzing you using the flash cards you’d spent hours making the night before. He’d become a different person in the last few months, had transformed before your eyes. Gone was the man who drank himself to death each night, who barely remembered to shower and eat. Gi-Hun now made sure his hair was always styled, made sure he was always wearing a nice shirt when he saw you. He’d been sober for nearly nine months, and had started going to the gym. A steady job at a warehouse meant he had money to pay rent, and he was saving up for a plane ticket to visit his daughter in America.
You’d been good for each other, pushing the other to be the best versions of themselves, always support one another when times got tough. You were looking forward to a break from university, looking forward to a summer free of deadlines and exams. Sure, you still had to work two jobs to afford your rent and schooling expenses, but you were looking forward to a little more free time. Gi-Hun had promised you a day trip to Busan, a chance for the two of you to get away, even for a short time. Your friendship had blossomed since that evening in your apartment, and you found that you spent most days with him. You felt his absence when he wasn’t around, feeling like something was missing. Gi-Hun had begun to feel the same. You’d saved him from himself, had thrown him a lifeline when he felt like giving up. you’d been good for him, and his feelings for you had grown over the last few months. Both of you were tiptoeing around the chemistry between you, too afraid to spoil the friendship in case the other didn’t feel the same.
“I think I need to stop,” you sighed, rubbing your tired eyes. “My brain is mush and if I study anymore my head might actually explode.” “Just remember to relax tomorrow,” he smiled, “you know all the answers.” He’d learned that you had a habit of getting in your own head, of doubting yourself when things got tough. You were the smartest person he knew, and he wished you’d give yourself more credit.
He helped you close up the bar, driving you home before saying goodnight. Every evening, he found it harder to leave you, harder to watch you climb the steps to your apartment. He wanted to pull you back into his arms; to kiss you and tell you how much you meant to him. he wanted to make love to you on the sofa you’d spent so many nights studying on, wanted to hear you moan his name. he hated leaving you, hated returning to his empty apartment. He still struggled to sleep most nights, and his thoughts were filled with you on the nights he lay awake.
Gi-Hun couldn’t stop checking his phone the next day, constantly stopping to see if you’d had your results back. You were sitting your exam at 9am and had been up texting him since 5am. He wanted to take you out tonight, wanted to buy you dinner and have a proper celebration. He had no doubt you’d pass, but he still couldn’t help but feel nervous for you. you’d worked so hard to get where you were, and the desperation in your face was evident. He was on break when you called him, your voice shrill. “I passed!” You squealed breathlessly. “I actually passed!” “Amazing!” Gi-Hun couldn’t hide the joy he felt, his smile spreading wide. “Let me take you out tonight. We’ll celebrate properly.” He wanted tonight to be special for you, he wanted you to let your hair down and celebrate the fact you were one year closer to your dream.
That night, Gi-Hun arrived to collect you from your apartment. He’d gone and bought a shirt especially, the crisp white material paired with his favourite jeans. He was speechless when you stepped outside, clad in a burgundy off the shoulder dress. He always thought you looked beautiful, but tonight you’d left him speechless. “What do you think?” you asked, giving him a twirl on the sidewalk as he stood open mouthed. “Very nice,” he finally managed to breath. “Just… wow.” You bit back a smile, enjoying the effect you were having on him. You’d picked this dress especially, knowing it showed off your figure.
You spent the evening in a cozy restaurant, feeling lighter than you had done in months. Gi-Hun couldn’t take his eyes off you, every moment he spent with you only affirming how much he cared for you. You were breathtaking in that dress, and his found his mind wandering, imagining how it would feel to kiss you, how it would feel to peel the dress from your body. You noticed him staring, noticed the way his eyes wondered your frame; the dress was having the desired effect.
You walked home slowly, neither of you wanting to part. Your hands brushed against each other a few times, sparks igniting deep within the pit of your stomach at the slightest of touches. “Do you want to come up?” you asked him when you arrived back your apartment. The chemistry between you was electric, the air almost crackling. You wondered if he could feel it too, wondered if his heart was racing as much as yours was. “Yes,” he answered, swallowing hard as you led him up the stairs. He’d been to your apartment dozens of times but tonight felt different. The tension was palpable, his heart beating so hard in his chest he was scared you might hear it.
Unlocking your door, you headed inside, the two of you standing in your hallway, neither one of you sure what to do next. Gi-Hun could see the steady rise and fall of your chest, could see the hunger in your eyes as looked up at him. “Kiss me,” you whispered, unable to resist him anymore. You needed a release, needed to feel his lips on yours, his hands on your body.
Gi-Hun kissed you gently, his hands caressing the contours of your waist, snaking up your back to the nape of your neck. He heard you moan appreciatively against him, felt your hands trail up his arms and across his shoulders. He allowed himself to be led to your bedroom, your fingers deftly unbuttoning his shirt as you went. He could feel his aching cock pressing against the tight fabric of his jeans, could feel the deep ache in the pit of his stomach as you guided his hands towards the zip of your dress. He was shaking as he helped you remove your clothes, the sight of your body setting his senses on fire. He pulled you into him, his hands exploring the delicate curve of your breasts, his fingers gently pinching your nipples as you moaned softly against his touch.
“I need to taste you,” he growled, pushing you down into your mattress as he slid your underwear down over your thighs. You were already soaking wet for him as his fingers explored you, his thumb tracing light circles over your clit. you bucked your hips, your eyes rolling back as his tongue replaced his fingers, tracing slow, delicious patterns against you. you had so much pent-up stress, and Gi-Hun was dying to release it. His tongue and fingers worked together, bringing you to the brink of ecstasy. You tasted like heaven, your tight wet walls gripping his digits as you came for him with a shuddering sob.
You were so desperate for him, so needy as you pulled his lips down to meet yours. You could taste yourself on his tongue, could feel his urgency for you in his kisses. You helped him remove his jeans, pushing him down against the mattress. You’d spent so many sleepless nights wondering what he would feel like to be with Gi-Hun, but nothing could match up to reality.
You cried out in unison as you lowered yourself onto him, his hands tightly gripping your hips as you moved against him. you were so wet for him, so tight and Gi-Hun found himself dangerously close to losing control already. You were so beautiful as you fucked him, your moans so loud and unabashed as your bodies moved in perfect sync. He directed your hand down to your clit, watching you pleasure yourself as you rode him. you were so confident, so sure of yourself and Gi-Hun was desperate to see more of this side of you. You could feel him getting close, could feel his thighs shaking as he neared the edge. His eyes were glued to you, to the way your index finger circled your clit, the way your head lolled back as you took every inch of him inside your tight core. He couldn’t hold anymore, a shuddering groan reverberating off the walls as he came, spilling every last drop of himself inside of you.
He stayed with you that night, tangled up in your sheets as you explored each other. There would be time to talk tomorrow, time to figure out what this was between you. In the morning, Gi-Hun would use words to tell you how you made him feel, but tonight, tonight he would let his body do all the talking.
