I find it odd how so many people get so pissy about white Jon because half the time when people draw Jon as brown he tends to still have white features... Maybe it's just me.

Some old traditional Jon Jarchivist Sims drawings because my ipad had an unfortunate encounter with milk tea and it did not pass the vibe check
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Btw I used India ink to outline his hair, ace ring and boots because it’s darker than black fine-liner
Image description under cut :)
[ID: three photos of two traditional ink drawings of Jonathan Sims from the Magnus Archives.
The first photo is a full body of Jon, who has long black hair with streaks of white throughout it. He is facing the right in a sitting position, with one leg crossed over the other, though the chair is not illustrated. He wears a dark green jumper with waved white lines and black dots so that they look like somewhat subtle stylised eyes. He wears a white collared shirt underneath but it barely visible, and a long, brown skirt and black boots. He rests his chin on his right hand which has a black ring on his middle finger, while his other hand rests on his leg and has a gold wedding ring. The hair, jumper, skirt and boots are coloured in with fine-liner with hatching. The colour of the skirt is composed of one layer of light brown lines, and other layer of dark brown.
The second photo is a bust of Jon, his head angled slightly downwards and to the side, a sceptical expression on his face as he side-eyes something to the viewer’s right. His hair only reaches his shoulders, half of it pulled into a bun. He is wearing glasses as well as eye-shaped earrings that hang from his earlobes. He wears a light green cardigan over a buttoned white shirt. The pointed ends of the white collar have a dot and three lines embroidered them, and there is a dark green ribbon tied under his collar, tied into a loose bow and pinned with a neck brooch shaped like a stylised eye. The hair and cardigan are also coloured in using hatching, with the cardigan composed of a layer of light green ink under a layer of dark green.
The third photo is a close-up of the first image, focused on Jon’s face.

what’s your opinion on parallels ppl like to draw?
like
sansa & lysa vs Sansa & Cat
Jon & rhaehar vs jon & lyanna
Aegon & Rhaehar vs Aegon & Elia
Dany & Aegon I vs Dany & Aerys
Arya & Lyanna vs Arya & Brandon
Sansa & Lyanna vs Sansa & Cersei
Arya & Cat vs Arya & Ned
Thanks so much for stopping by anon and for leaving this really cool question! I’m such a sucker for parallels and symbolism, so I do have a few opinions about these characters (Sansa, Dany and Jon under the cut – no opinions about Aegon) and had a lot of fun writing them down!! ❤️
Arya
What I really liked, and what stood out for me the most (in the show), is that after Arya accepted that she wasn't No One but indeed Arya Stark of Winterfell and came back to Westeros, she very much took on Ned's appearance. She gets dressed and wears her hair the same way Ned does, and shows confidentially that she takes right after her father, where her being the only one in the pack (beside Jon) who inherited the Stark-look (long face, brown hair, and grey eyes) wasn’t something she was actually proud of as a child.
There are many more parallels between these two (the Baratheon friendship, the dislike of the southern culture and the people at court, their sense of loyalty, …) but what I like most is her understanding of the death sentence and how Arya has internalized Ned's teachings. The one who speaks the sentence must also carry out the killing. It is the opposite of what she is taught by the faceless men and in the end it is also one of the reasons why she realizes that she can never be truly No One. Which, I guess, is why she showed her face to every one of her kills that was on her list of names (at least in the show, but I'm sure it will be similar in the books).
I never thought much about the parallels to Lyanna, except that she also had the typical look from the north and was also much wilder than is expected for a noble-born woman. Probably it is one of the reasons why Ned encourages Arya’s nature instead of scolding her for it. But I think it says more about the relationship Ned had with either his sister and his daughter.
As for Cate I think the most striking parallel is probably their cunning. Which Sansa also inherited from her mother, and Ned unfortunately never managed to master, because he is too driven by honor. As women, all three are underestimated in this world, and yet (and perhaps because of this) manage to outsmart the men around them. For example, when Arya names Jaqen H'ghar as her third name in order to escape from Harrenhal, that was pretty damn clever and something that her mother would have done as well.
Also, and sadly, their desire for vengeance is something that shapes and drives both characters (referring to Lady Stoneheart in the books) too. Because of that, I'm really curious if they will ever meet (if the next book ever gets published) and if there will be any revenge for Arya against the Frey's at all.
Sansa
Just as Arya takes on Ned's appearance, Sansa does it with Catelyn's in the later seasons. I think this is particularly interesting because in the beginning, during her time in KL, she copied Cersei's hair and clothes, and later she copied Margaery’s. It shows her role models at each stage and it's particularly striking that at the end she takes on her mother's look, just as Cersei adapts that of her father Tywin.
Even if the comparison between Arya and Lyanna is drawn much more often, I always found that Sansa and her aunt have much more parallels. The beauty of the two is something that is often highlighted in the story, emphasized, for example, as Rhaegar names Lyanna the queen of love and beauty at the tourney at Harrenhal, similar to Loras giving Sansa a rose at the Hand's tourney. I suspect that for both women this circumstance has led to their intelligence and other abilities being greatly underestimated, if not overlooked, in their very male-dominated world.
Fortunately, Sansa has the chance to evolve into self-empowerment, which I think is the main focus of her journey, whereas Lyanna died way too early to achieve that. She was forced to marry a man she didn't want (Robert), (as was Sansa btw), so Lyanna saw the only way to prevent that in running away with Rhaegar. And I can imagine that early Sansa, the little romantic that she is, would have made a similar decision.
I don't like that many say Sansa acts like Cersei in the later seasons because she admires her. I don't think that's the case at all. Cersei only acts out of self-interest (and sometimes, especially in the books, quite stupidly). Sansa, on the other hand, does what is right for her people. She combines her mother's strength with her father's understanding of the Northerners.
She is cunning as Cate, which is not a bad quality per se, and develops an understanding when someone tries to manipulate her. At the same time, she always has the well-being of her people in focus, which Cersei definitely doesn’t. Which is why I think Sansa is a good queen and is just right to take Robb's place (the obvious choice if she were a man) and Cersei is absolutely terrible at her job.
Jon
I have to say, for Jon it’s almost the hardest to give an accurate answer, because the character (especially in the later seasons) differs a lot between book and show.  Regarding the show, I would say that Jon doesn’t have much in common with his birth parents, because he really is the reincarnation of Ned, the honorable fool, as he calls himself. Always trying to do the right thing, even if it goes against his heart’s desire.
Rhaegar, on the other hand, does exactly the opposite in the plot for which we know him best. And even if his relationship with Lyanna is often categorized as incredibly romantic, it is one thing above all: selfish. Show!Jon couldn't be more the opposite.
Jon is a good leader, as Rhaegar was, or at least is praised to be. Both have melancholic tendencies, and at least book!Jon, has a tendency to sarcasm (at least in his thoughts) where it is said about Rhaegar , he often had an ironic undertone in his voice (according to Jaime)
Rhaegar is musical, interested in the fine arts, Jon doesn't really show interest in that. What they do have in common is a belief in something that is more than what the eye perceives. For Rhaegar this means believing in prophecies and such things, and Jon is not atheistic either, even if he lives out his beliefs in the Old Gods less than some other characters. Both of them are highly valued by their followers and I think also for both of them this is a quality that shapes their character a lot.
Still, I have to say that for me the background of Rhaegar and Lyanna's relationship, the consequences especially for Elia and her children, but also for the whole country will always be in the spotlight.
I've already read several metas that say book!Jon takes more after his birth father because his motives and actions are also less moral (e.g. only giving food to the people of the Free Folk who are willing to fight for the Night's Watch – a huge difference to the show version). Still, I would say Jon is more pragmatic than selfish, another area where Rhaegar would have needed to catch up if he’d been given the chance.
Daenerys
Whereas it was more difficult for me to think about Rhaegar's positive qualities in relation to Jon, I have to say that it was easier for me in relation to Dany. This might be because Daenerys is so frequently compared to Rhaegar as a compliment. Not only in her looks, but also with her intelligence, her determination and in the love that her people have for her. Ser Barristan calls him determined, deliberate, dutiful, and single-minded, all positive qualities that also apply to Dany.
As for Aerys, it's also hard to draw parallels. As I said in another post, I think the Targaryen madness is not really madness (being crazy) but more an obsession, whether it's about religion, dragons, or with Dany, her desire to liberate her people. What we know about Aerys, however, shows that he was indeed sick, paranoid, after his captivity. That is something different and not something I see or suspect with Dany.
What I have found, though, are explanations about the young Aerys, which at some points apply to her:
In his youth, while not being the most intelligent, nor the most diligent of princes, he was described as having an undeniable charm. He was generous, handsome and resolute, although somewhat quick to anger.
In the same paragraph, however, it is said that he was vain, proud, and fickle, qualities that made him easy prey for sycophants and sycophants. While Dany is proud, she quickly develops over the course of the story into a person who sees through the manipulation attempts of those around her and is clever enough to avoid them.
There might be a possibility that through a traumatic experience (like for Viserys selling his mother's crown) her obsession finally drives her to take more drastic measures to achieve her goal. However, I think it's unlikely that Dany actually drifts into absolute madness like her father and burns down an entire city without thinking. She is much too reflective for that. Should she actually go completely ‘Fire and Blood’, then I think it will be a very conscious decision, rather than an impulsive one.

I love having characters discuss media they like / characterization-through-fandom so maybe have A Boy of choice discuss their favorite movie and everyone else reacts?
Okay so this isn’t very good, but I guess I like how I wrote Eduardo. Basically teenage Eduardo, Jon and Mark lowkey larp as their old west ancestors, Eduardo Juan and Marco, while waiting at a park for Edd Tom and Matt to come larping as their respective ancestors, Edward Thompson and Matthew.
Critique is welcomed but idk why you’d wanna do that with this piece lmao.
Word count: roughly 1,400.
~
“Barbie and the Diamond Castle,” Juan said, biting into his very authentically old west McDonald’s Mcdouble.
Eduardo’s laughs quickly turned to wheezing coughs. “God, Jon, what’re you, my niece?”
“Who?” Juan looked at him expectedly.
“Fine, Juan.” Eduardo said, “why’d you choose the most feminine movie out there? Not enough reasons to not have sex with you yet?”
“I just really like it, okay?” Juan said, “the animation’s really cute, the songs are nice, and I watched it at least once a month until I was seven.”
“Jesus you’re gayer than me.” Marco said.
“Haha, I think my parents are still waiting for me to come out,” Juan laughed.
“What’s your favorite scene from the movie?”
“I’m sorry are we seriously talking about fucking Barbie movies now?” Eduardo said, “this is supposed to be a stake out.”
“We had to listen to you play Mindless Self Indulgence the entire car ride here, so shut your mouth.”
“What are you talking about? I had my earbuds in.”
“You were blasting it.”
“Oh, that’s why your mother kept looking at me weird through the front view mirror.” Eduardo said, “that sucks.”
“It’s okay, I think she’s come to terms with the fact that I’m friends with exclusively delinquents.”
“Hey!”
“Just kidding, just kidding.”
“That’s mean, Mark. O. M-Marco.”
“Hypocrite.” Eduardo said.
“Anyways,” Marco rolled his eyes, “what about Barbie and her castle and your obsession with them both?”
“I don’t like it anymore! Just when I was a kid,” Juan said. “And it wasn’t her castle, they were actually really poor, they just had to travel to the castle to save a girl trapped in a mirror and the concept of music.”
“...Huh?” Eduardo said.
“I don’t remember the plot very well, but I think that’s about it.”
“Huh. Sounds like something my niece would actually like.” Eduardo said, “they wear dresses in those movies, right?”
“Yeah of course, it’s Disney.”
“Can you text me a picture of the main girl? I’ll draw her in the dress and give it to her on her birthday.”
“Aw, how sweet! Sure.” Juan, the infamous old west bandit, got out his phone and texted Eduardo the main girls.
“When are Edd, Tom and Matt supposed to come, anyways?” Marco asked, “my mom’s picking us up in a couple of hours.”
“Shut up Mark, they’ll be here,” Eduardo said, looking out across the grass and duck pond.
“How do you know?” Juan asked, collecting the group's trash to throw away. “You said Edd has bad handwriting, maybe you read it wrong.”
“I didn’t read it wrong! Trust me, they’ll be here. They’re fuckin’ nerds and their ancestors were these cool action hero guys, of course they’ll wanna larp as them!”
“I thought you said they weren’t cool at all?” Juan asked, “and that their ancestors were gay or something?”
“Of course they’re not actually cool!” Eduardo said, “but they sure thought they were, so I’m just explaining their train of thought.”
“Couldn’t we just larp as our ancestors?” Juan asked, “it would be fun, and a lot less stressful.”
“I thought that’s what we were doing?” Marco asked, tugging at his cheap brown bandanna Juan had found at Walmart the day before.
“I mean, I guess, but it’s not really authentic if we keep talking about Barbie and cars.”
“Then stop talking about fucking Barbie, problem solved,” Eduardo said. “Now make use of that second pair of binoculars, I think I see their car.”
“Fine.”
“...I wonder if Marco was gay.” Marco said, watching the ducks sleep.
“What d'ya mean?” Eduardo asked.
“Oh, I don’t know. Obviously I know there were quite a few gay people in the old west, it’s just funny to think about. How different of a life he would’ve led.”
“I found a photo of him kissing a guy on google.” Juan said, getting out his phone to find it again.
“Really?” Eduardo turned to face him, the car having driven past the parking lot. “How?”
“I remember hearing Edd talk about how that detective’s diary was really gay and thought about if that made Marco’s ancestor gay, to.”
“Well not everyone in my ancestral line was gay, you know.”
“Yeah but the detective looked a lot like Edd, and Marco looked a lot like you, so I figured it only made sense to check. Here.” Juan handed Marco his phone. “It doesn’t say who the guy is.”
“Wait, so are you saying you think Edd’s gay?” Eduardo lit up and put his fingers together like a pyramid, “oh that’s interesting.”
“What, are you planning on outing him to the school or something?” Marco asked.
“No, of course not!” Eduardo said, “I just think it’d be something to bring up.”
“What does that even mean?”
“Come on, he’s bullied you for being gay before!”
“That was a year ago, and that doesn’t mean he deserves the same treatment!”
“Mark-”
“Marco.”
“-Mark,” he glared at Juan, “just drop it, okay? If they don’t show up we won’t be able to catch them being idiots, so we’ll have to find some other way to do it!”
“Why do we need to? Have you ever considered that maybe if you stopped picking fights with them they’d leave us alone?”
“Me?! They’re the ones that pick fights with us!” Eduardo slammed his fist down on the table, making the old wood wobble, “don’t you remember when we were in English and they told the teachers we were the ones that started that knife fight, when really it was them? Or when they were throwing knives at each other, and then stashed them in my locker when they heard a teacher coming? Or when that girl got stabbed-”
“Look, I get it, they suck, but at some point we become just as bad as them.” Marco reasoned.
“...”
An alarm went off in Marco’s pocket.
“Hey, it’s almost 7. We should be packing up.”
Eduardo sighed, “...fine.”
Juan threw away their trash as they were walking back to the parking lot. Marco took his bandanna off and stuffed it in his pocket.
“Are you able to eat dinner at my place?” Mark asked.
“You sure your parents would want me over again?”
“What are you talking about? Of course. Why not?”
“I don’t know, I just got the impression I annoyed them last time.”
“You didn’t. So, can you come?”
“I don’t know, I didn’t think to ask my parents.”
“Do you want to?”
“Yeah sure.” Eduardo got out his phone and texted his mom.
“I won’t be able to come, my grandma’s over and dad’s making stew.” Juan said.
“Oh, nice.”
“Yeah, it is.”
The ducks walked out of their way as they passed.
 {i really am just writing the most boring shit rn, huh? I mean i guess its realistic.}
“Okay I can go, she said to be home by 10.” Eduardo put his phone away.
“Excellent.”
“Your dad isn’t gonna gril me about colleges again, is he?”
“Hey, if I have to deal with it then so do you.” Mark smirked.
“It’s just annoying to hear him talk about all these engineering colleges.” He rolled his eyes, “as if I want to drive myself insane with those classes.”
“He’s only doing it because he wants you to have a nice job.”
“...I can have a nice job as a painter too.” Eduardo said, but the bite was gone.
 {my moms getting mcdonalds i cant wait im so hungry its literally 10pm} {its 1230 now and btw i loved it}
 “It’s your choice.”
“Have you decided what college you want to attend yet, Marco-Mark?” Jon asked.
Eduardo chuckled.
“I’m not sure yet. I might become an english teacher, or a librarian.”
“Huh. Nice.” Jon said. “I kinda wanna be a photographer, but I know there isn’t a lot of
{and then I gave up}

George RR Martin discussing possible romances on ASOAIF
So for reasons that are incomprehensible to my mind, the romance between Jon Snow and Sansa Stark is seeing by the marjority of the audience as something impossible and a insane crackship by the losers Jonsa (thats us BTW). But the funny thing is, when asked about some of the romantic pairing of the novel, George has been quite frank and direct to the fans.
This is what George RR Martin discussed when people asked him about the possibility of a romance between Sansa Stark and S@ndor.
GEORGE RRM - I am sometimes surprised about the reactions of women in particular to some of the villains of the story, Jaime Lannister, The H@und, Theon Greyjoy… these are deeply troubled individuals with some very dark side who have done some pretty dark things, but they draw this response quite heavily from my female readers……some of this letters I receive they see it like a romantic attraction going on there… and I do know that there is all these people out there who call themselves SAN SAN fans, who want to see Sandor and Sansa get together in the end.
You can watch the entire interview here:
youtube
This is what George RR Martin replied when someone asked him about a possible romance between Jon Snow and Ary@ Stark:
GRRM: "Alright, you've thought about this more than I have. I mean it's simple, Jon is very fond of Ary@. They were the two odd birds in the Stark family nest, here. They didn't quite fit in with the others, they look like each other, they both had the brown hair, you know, as opposed to the auburn hair of Sansa and Bran and Rickon and Robb. So there was always that closeness between them. And, you know, Ary@ didn't mind that Jon was a bastard, and Jon didn't mind that Ary@ was a tomboy, so there is that closeness there."……..
[The person then asks him about some clues for Jon/Ary@ in the second and third book, the fact that Jon keeos comparing Ygritte and Ary@, which wouldn't be there if GRRM had made up the romance for the outline]
"You know, I don't think it's a reference for that [for romance]. It's a reference to a certain physical type, and  a certain indication of what Jon finds admirable. It's like someone who reminds you of, you know... Other people might be put off by this, you know, hair that looks like small rodents have been living in there. It doesn't put him off because he is used to that.""
And you can read the entire conversation here in this link https://asoiaf.westeros.org/index.php?/topic/140333-dinner-with-grrm-what-should-i-ask/&page=4 . Its actually a fascinating interview, he seems very relaxed talking to the fans.
And finally, this  is what George RRMartin replied when someone asked him about a possible romance between Jon Snow and Sansa Stark.
Tumblr media
I mean, he no even tries to deny it or play with the fans, like he did in the other two replies. He is enigmatic and short in his asnwer. Yet, WE ARE THE DELUSIONALS ONES.
I now believe that all the other shippers genuinely believe that there is a small chance of Jonsa happening and thats why they react so strongly negative about this storyline. They hate it, because it gets on the way of their favorite shipp and they are scared that this may happen.

I think not showing much of interaction between Sansa and her siblings was a way to make viewed think she is the outsider, not a "real" Stark. Just like she resembled more Cat in look, thus more of a Tully. And now she is coming full circle and showing she is THE Stark. People fail to see that Arya is the one who "lost" those Stark values. She is killing people way too easy. Consumed by revenge.
Hey, nonnie!
I kind of agree and disagree with your assessments. :) I assume your comment is in relation to this post I reblogged. I agree that Sansa is set apart visually at the beginning of the story, particularly because of the way she dresses and her light blue cloak which is in contrast to her entire Stark family. I think that’s mainly a way of stressing Sansa’s desire to leave home and travel South, more than the creators implying that she’s not a Stark.
As for her having the Tully look and resembling Cat, in the books at least, that’s really not something Sansa specific. All the Stark children share their mother’s looks, with the exception of Arya. Here’s a description of each one of them from the ASOIAF wiki:
Here’s how Cat is described: Catelyn is beautiful, with fair skin, long auburn hair and blue eyes. She has long fingers and high cheekbones. Catelyn resembles her own mother, Minisa Whent. Her own sons Robb, Bran and Rickon, and daughter Sansa take after Catelyn in their coloring.
And here is how the children are described:
Robb: Robb’s appearance favors his Tully side, with a stocky build, blue eyes and thick red-brown hair.
Bran: Bran favors his mother Catelyn in appearance, having the thick auburn hair and deep blue eyes of the Tullys.
Rickon: Rickon favors his mother Catelyn in appearance, having the bright blue eyes, auburn hair, and easy smile of a Tully.
Sansa: Sansa is traditionally beautiful, taking after her mother’s family (House Tully) with her high cheekbones, vivid blue eyes, and thick auburn hair.
Btw, love the subtle dig of “traditionally” beautiful. FACT: Sansa is called beautiful in the books more times than Cersei (whom the wiki calls strikingly beautiful) or D*ny. Also all the other children look like Cat but Sansa takes after “her mother’s family”? Knock it off, wiki! Just knock it off.
In contrast, here is how Arya and Jon are described:
Arya: Arya’s appearance is more Stark than Tully, with a long face, grey eyes, and brown hair. She is skinny and athletic.
Jon: Jon has more Stark-like features than any of his half-brothers. He is graceful and quick, and has a lean build. Jon has the long face of the Starks, with dark, brown hair and grey eyes so dark they almost seem black.
So in terms of physical appearance, Sansa is certainly not the odd one out. Rather, Jon and Arya are simply because Jon is not Cat’s son and Arya favors her father  over her mother. I actually think a lot of the close bond Ned seems to share with Arya stems from the fact that she looks so much like Lyanna.
The debate of Sansa’s lack of Starkiness which originated in the books, not the show, doesn’t have anything to do with her physical appearance. Of course, out of all of them she probably resembles Cat the most by virtue of being a girl, but it’s her pursuits and interests that have fans labeling her “not a Stark” or a “Tully” or a “fish” or whatever dig they’ve come up with this week.
What I discussed in my reblog is that by virtue of Sansa being a medieval high-born lady, she was always bound to be isolated from her siblings to a degree because most of them are boys, so they’re trained in other pursuits and Arya is a tomboy who is bucking convention. I don’t think it’s really fair to asses Sansa’s Starkness based on that because she’s not given a choice in the matter. That’s the role society assigned to her since birth and Sansa is merely “guilty” of being extremely good at it, which in turn feeds her interest in those activities and her desire to go to a place where she can develop and flourish further.
We tend to see marriage these days as something additional to our education or pursuits but for medieval women, marriage was as much about love and romance (and usually they’d forgo those dreams rather quickly) as it was a career. So in modern terms, what Sansa wants to do by marrying Jofferey is like one of us pursuing a career as CEO of a company. It’s the highest aspiration Sansa can have and she dedicates herself to it.
People not understanding that shows a complete lack of thought regarding the period of time Sansa lives in. But then they remember it ever so conveniently when it’s time to argue that Tyrion, the Hound and LF aren’t pedophiles for lusting after a 12 year old because “that’s what it was like back then” (for the 100th time, NO IT WASN’T! READ A FUCKING HISTORY BOOK!)
And now she is coming full circle and showing she is THE Stark.
I agree on this. Sansa’s arc is essentially her reclaiming her Stark identity while all the people that surround her and the circumstances she ends up in try to rip it from her. It starts the moment Lady is killed and, in the show, it seemingly ends when her and Jon take back Winterfell (I say seemingly because if the kidnapping theory proves true, Sansa might once again be forced to hide her Starkness as a means to survive, at least temporarily).
However:
People fail to see that Arya is the one who “lost” those Stark values. She is killing people way too easy. Consumed by revenge.
While I agree that Arya’s revenge quest and her killing spree should be a major cause of concern when it comes to her character, I kind of disagree that she’s lost her Stark values. I think all of the Stark children that have survived thus far (Jon included) draw strength from their Stark identity and the values that Ned instilled in all of them. But they’re also applying them differently and deviating from them because they recognize that sometimes survival and upstanding values end up in conflict. And also, trauma and/or life simply push them to be in conflict with those values.
Jon: he values Ned’s integrity and honesty but he lies to the Wildlings and Ygritte. If pol!jon is correct, he also pretends to bend the knee and seduces a woman for her dragons.
The greatest irony, of course, is that the honorable Ned Stark is also the guy who managed to keep the biggest secret in the series a secret for over 20 years from everyone, including his family.
Sansa: she’s the Stark in Winterfell, she’s dilligent and committed just like her parents were but she’s not above using people like LF even though she doesn’t trust them or killing Ramsay via human eating dogs instead of beheading.
Arya: she’s clearly in a very dark place but even her killing list is generated by a desire for justice and reestablishing balance. She also makes sure not to hurt innocent people (the Frey incident comes to mind). So in a way she’s following Ned’s “he who passes the sentence, should swing the sword” principal but because of her trauma she’s taken it too far. She also clings to Needle through out her experiences because that’s become a tether not only to Jon but her entire family and Stark identity.
Bran: unfeeling as he might be in season 7, Bran is still committed to fighting against the apocalypse. On the other hand, he uses Hodor as a human door stop.
What I’m saying is, they’re all Starks and those positive Ned values live in all of them but they’ve all become twisted by the traumatic and life-altering events that have shaped them. That’s why “the lone wolf dies but the pack survives” is so important. Because by reuniting, they not only become stronger but they can also keep each other in check over their worse impulses.
Thanks for the ask!

“Why whitewashig Gabriel Reyes” ?
Well, hello everybody, and first, thanks for rebloging even if you “don’t like it”. I gonna be very simple about “whiting” gabriel reyes. ITS BECAUSE ITS FRANCK FUCKING CASTLE.
... sorry, it’s a crossover,
I just made a punisher run, and the way Jon Berthal protrayed it was amazing. i just wanted to mix two universes and made Franck Castle as a BlackWatch Soldier who eventually turn into a Reapunisher, so I kept Jon here. But, I Know it would be very very very offensive to paint a white people as a latino, or a black people.
I just CANT overtan Jon Bernthal, because, first, I’t would not be Jon Berthal, and two, it’s disrepecful for color people.
If a white people cosplay Reaper you’re not gonna insult him saying “go get som sun, you’re white as an ass !”. same, If a black People cosplay Tony stark, I’m not gonna expect him to paint his face in white. (BTW There’s an very great Tony-black-Stark cosplayer,  check @ugoandcosplay on instagram)
Next time, I’ll draw it in  black and white for binaries visions.
(PS : I’m from France. I don’t care about color of origins. half of my football team is black, my husband is half egyptian white in winter, brown in summer, I’m half italian red as a lobster in summer. I dont fucking care of colors differences, we’re all humans. love you all.)
Thanks for reading. Telu. edit : idk why Tony stark would be an Asshole tho ? don’t see the point.

I SAW U REBLOGGED AN ASK MEME boardwalk, shipwreck, siren and tsunami?
ahahaha you’re the best honestly ♥boardwalk: who is your favourite fictional couple?- Oh my gods I have no idea how to answer that aaah. Okay so (POTENTIAL THE 100 AND GAME OF THRONES SPOILERS AHEAD) I guess two of them used to be Lexa x Clarke and Jon x Ygritte, but unfortunately I can’t think of any favourite couples where both parts are still alive lol so sadshipwreck: do you have an OC? If so, describe them.- Dang I have LOADS but Ima go with my DnD character. We haven’t started playing yet bc my boyfriend’s currently on vacation but that means I still got some time to draw her and think about a cool backstory. Anyway, her name’s Venovia (my old url btw) and she’s a ranger who funnily enough is strong af but absolutely not well coordinated ahaha I rolled so SHITTY for her skills. siren: in a fantasy setting, would you be a warrior, rogue or mage?- Okay so I love strong woman wielding swords but I’d most definitely be a sneaky, stealthy rogue or a mage who specializes in destructive magic.tsunami: describe a dream outfit of yours.- I would absolutely love, love, LOVE to dress like a badass woodland ranger with tons of dark, foresty greens and browns or a rogue who lurks in the shadows, the whole outfit in all black everything. I can’t really describe it in detail bc I don’t have an EXACT vision in mind but I get a lot of inspiration from @crowrunner and @mai-magi , for example c:

I binge listened to all of TMA (The Magnus Archives) in 4 and 1/2 days btw peeps. 👀
I honestly love it so much but it’s one of those weird... “I feel like I can’t participate in the fandom because I have opinions™️ and I can’t handle rejection™️”
Not to say there is any of that particularly within the fandom, more so I just sometimes have special interests I like to keep close to my heart for the time being
Also I of freaking course like one of the “bad” guys and I don’t understand why or how that happened ^^;
But I do love it and the amazing fics I’m reading anyway lol
I guess I just wanted to mention it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Also @ all the peeps who draw Jon with dark skin and messy and long grey and brown hair, I love you especially because that is literally just exactly how Jon looks in my mind.
