i shifted accidentally for the first time last night 😭

it wasn't my first time shifting, but it was my first time shifting on accident to a reality completely unknown to me 😭 Anyway here's that (long, quite detailed) story time !! (with reaction pics of course 😋)

i was so tired last night, and i had to wake up at 7AM today, i wanted my mind to be quiet so i could fall asleep easily and not have any vivid/random dreams (they make it so i can't rest well)

my subconscious with a different plan:

i remember being asleep here, lying on my bed and the darkness of my room, and all of the sudden i was standing in front of a white haired professor in a school in JAPAN !!!

now I don't have any japanese drs, or am close to anything japanese for that matter (i dont watch anime, etc etc) i think maybe i thought how i'd like to go to a tokyo grand prix for five seconds yesterday but that was it 😭 there was absolutely no reason for me to have woken up in a different country AND AT A SCHOOL !! for that matter like i genuinely have no idea what happened.

ANYWAYS...

the professor just talked about how i was new and my professors, and classmates, and all (i don't remember exactly what he said but when i woke up i knew it was an introductory "welcome to this school talk) and sent me to a classroom where i got way too worked up about a sexist mf, i kinda yelled at him for being sexist and the shit he was saying.

(i didn't YELL i confronted him and told him his ideology was stupid and might've given him (thrown...ish) some stuff to him but it was on topic i promise it was more like i landed him... some trash... like i put it at his feet for him to pick up okay, let's move on)

then i left that class !! but it was just as other classes were about to begin and another guy that had been in that class with me dragged me into another classroom because he had liked me (he didn't say it but he was rlly nice to me so i assumed he liked me) (liked me as in yk he didn't hate me after the whole class confrontation, i just had so he wasn't as bad as that other mf !!, im not saying he fell in love w me just in case anybody gets confused) (also the classroom wasn't empty he just had another class and dragged me along with him)

in that classroom he told me to put my hood on (i was wearing a black cotton jacket with a hood on it, we didn't have uniforms) and to not draw too much attention to myself (it was an all boys class, so if the professor found out im a girl she would've kicked me out and tbh idk what i would've done 😔)

and then the teacher came in, (i wanna describe her bc she was sooo,,, teacher core LMAO she had a big nose, glasses, red hair up, burgundy sweater and a white sort of lab coat thingy) introduced the class, and said she was going to play a movie, closed the class curtains and that's when i started remembering i had shifted here.

she played the movie (looking back at it now, i think they might've picked up from where they had left off in a previous class)

it was a movie with rupert grint where he was an adult and he had discovered like a magical realm, i remember i thought of harry potter (bc of rupert) and knowing that had never existed there, he had never been ron. There was also a blonde woman (gorgeous long blonde hair kinda looked like tilda swinton) and a little girl that was somehow related to Rupert's character.

I realized that movie didn't exist in this reality and that's when I sort of began panicking and remembered i had Actually shifted there

I decided to check my 5 senses but then I realized I don't know the steps to do it....

so i just touched the desk where i was sitting, i touched the paper from the boy's notebooks and more stuff i can't remember, i remember wanting to touch the pencils inside the pencilcases but I couldn't be loud + those weren't mine !! and then i breathed in a couple times

and then i opened my eyes here again

now I know that stuff really doesn't work for me it just brings me back to my dr, because im just trying to remember what the tiktok i saw on this reality about the 5 senses method said 😭

something i didn't mention is that when I walked into the second classroom, i got nervous when i realized it was an all boys class. I don't know what the class was on, i was looking around frantically, the curtains surprised me they were dark and i had never seen dark gray curtains in a classroom (what a stupid culture shock 😭)

when the teacher came in i put my hair on my eyes to FAKE A FRINGE !!! I didn't listen to her at all when she began the class, and then another guy with big blue eyes was mouthing something to me and the boy behind me, the boy i was with said "he's deaf just read his lips"

MF I DON'T KNOW HOW TO READ LIPS ?!?

so now im nervous as fuck about not being able to read his lips and looking like an asshole that doesn't want to talk to deaf people

all while trying not to get kicked out of this class !!

Aight!! I will be just pointing out some differences/stuff that was deleted from the anime.

Under the cut

THE DUNGEON SCENE:

-When they first meet again in the manga, they throw some silly jokes at each other (like Dazai asking Chuuya if he's hiding a bald spot. And Chuuya just taking his hat off to show him he's, in fact, not balding)

-In the manga when Chuuya calls Dazai the youngest mafia executive, in his mind Dazai is wearing his ADA clothes but keeps the black coat and the bandaged eye. I think it's a very silly detail

-In the anime, in anger Chuuya actually cuts Dazai's cheek with his knife. In the manga, the moment he starts getting angry he jumps away from Dazai and then throws the knife to the floor, not touching him at all

-Manga Chuuya falls to his knees (basically standing on all 4s), having a lil crisis after realizing Dazai only stayed in the dunegon to meet him. He gets up in a while, just to yet again squat on the floor after Dazai yapps more

-Obviously the pigeon-stand scene: in the manga Dazai is laughing to tears at this, while in the anime he stays silent. (Tho i must say i find it funny that Chuuya gets angry over Dazai not laughing,, like he tried so hard and this guy just :| him)

LOVECRAFT FIGHT:

-This is not about skk but lord yall know that panel where Chuuya ie standing on all these Guild ppl being all like im gonna beat ur ass next. He's just standing normally on the floor in the anime. Aughhhhh this panel is so good aughhhh. Ok anyway back to skk

-When Dazai nullifies John's ability, in the anime Chuuya just kicks Steinbeck from behind. In the manga, skk perform that silly move where Chuuya jumps from behind Dazai. It just shows how even after 4 years of not working with each other, they instantly work together as well as before

-Skk arguing about who's walking next to who like some preschoolers ('dont walk next to me' 'its you who's standing next to me' typa thing) then deciding that they're gonna stay at least 2 metres away from each other

-The manga clearly shows Chuuya's expression when he's talking about 'being happy when Dazai left'. He definitely doesn't look very happy. (In the anime we just get some background drawings)

-Manga Chuuya's lil blush when Dazai compliments his taste in shoes 😭😭

-When Dazai asks for Chuuya's knife, in the manga Chuuya just goes 'oh sure lemme find it' and is actually ready to give him the knife. In the anime? Chuuya doesn't search for the knife, instead he just gets annoyed

-Anime deleted the scene where Dazai talks to Chuuya about recording Kunikida while he was cursed with Q's ability. Chuuya going bruh he also annoys ppl in the agency

-those two idiots calling each other stupid nicknames for half of a page

-Chuuya mentioning keeping a track of women Dazai made cry and threatening him with sending them Dazai's address????

-Dazai telling Chuuya that his intelligence will be consumed by his hat (im currently looking at my polish version of the manga so the translation may be a bit off but anyway)

-Before activating Corruption, they yet again call each other a bunch of stupid nicknames (ahah consider this a silly form of goodbye if anything happens)

-Remember my post about Dazai keeping his eyes on Chuuya at all times during Corruption in the manga? In the anime he looks either at John or at Lovecraft, no puppy eyed loser

-Just a mention that in the manga we see Chuuya sleeping while he's sitting, he doesn't flop passed out to the ground (until later)

me when i wake up and talk every day about the same shit. heart <3 i could talk for days abt jin and the misogyny he writes with. it's everywhere of course lol but out of the female characters takane's like…. the most tragic, in my opinion, because she's the only female character to have absolutely 0 backstory. yes, there's Some stuff, such as her illness, but truly takane does not have that much angst surrounding her illness. everything about her is rather about haruka. takane's moment is yuukei yesterday, but yuukei yesterday is entirely about both haruka and takane and their relationship. yes it's takane's pov, but it's ultimately still about… haruka, and how she feels about him.

back then in the fandom, pre over the dimension specifically, there was a take going around i remember pretty well. "people write haruka and takane like there's nothing more to them than being in love with each other" like the only time we'd see haruka and takane specifically (in fan content), they'd just be there to be shippy. i TOTALLY agreed with this sentiment and i always have, especially because i've always been obsessed with them as characters and i was overanalyzing every little thing (when otd came out i was over the moon bc i got so much stuff right btw. if u even care)

HOWEVER. if u think about it. pre over the dimension, with the manga having covered yuukei yesterday already and the next time takane (and haruka) appear as themselves in the manga is A LOT later in volume 10 (by that time, otd was already out) (also i'll get to takane in 2nd manga route in a second), so what we had at the time, for haruka and takane's backstory, was manga&novel yuukei yesterday and what we got from the anime. if you consider this… truly, at first the only thing to go off really was. just their relationship. that was all there was to both of them, because haruka was described from takane's pov, and everything we got from takane was how she felt for haruka. that was IT. for everything else u had to read between the lines like i was doing bc 10 years later i'd still be here talking about it teehee

of course there are also the songs. takane's songs set in time before she's ene are yuukei yesterday and of course headphone actor, one of the Best kagepro songs dont even come AT ME anyways headphone actor as a song touches THE OTHER BIG THING we were offered about takane at the time. okay, she isn't JUST in love with haruka. the other thing about takane is… she wants to SURVIVE!!!

i've talked about this LOADS of times i know (about this entire thing actually but i just like talking about also it's my blog) takane gets opening eyes because she's so determined to live. ratio + this from novel 2 headphone actor

which brings me to. ugh. second manga route. takane….would not…. KILL HERSELF…. second manga route WHY. we finally get to see Takane again in the manga and she's just so spectacularly NOT HERSELF it's crazy. takane since her INTRODUCTION is presented as "selfish" and how her want for attention from haruka or in general gets the best of her. that's ene. THAT'S ene!!! that's also why ENE stays with shintaro!!! it is FUNDAMENTAL to her character. we were given miserably little about her and in the most simplified way to put it, those things are: takane 1. is an attention whore<3 2. doesn't want to die. so tell me. how do you manage to get these 2 very simple things so incredibly WRONG in second manga route.

where in the world would takane get mad haruka got another friend. it makes NO sense!?!? bro haruka and shintaro ARE ALSO BEST FRIENDS IN THE MAIN ROUTE, where takane ACTUALLY HAS REASONS TO ACTIVELY REALLY DISLIKE SHINTARO, and she doesn't give a fuck that they're friends, why would she randomly care so much now when she has no reason to even dislike shintaro? so basically because she doesn't have ayano she gets jealous and wants haruka all to herself?? erm ok?? let's say that's true (it's not), even if she was jealous of shintaro her desire to be by haruka's side WILL be stronger, she would NEVER just turn around and leave. absolutely NOT. one of the stupidest things takane does is want haruka to look her way so bad she doesn't realize HE'S DYING ON HER. this bitch is so insanely self centered she would never in her life walk out on haruka just for having another friend. REAL takane walks in there with that stupid basket and be like Everyone look at me NOW<3

OH MY GOD. i hate it it's so fucking fake it's not HER THAT'S NOT TAKANE ENOMOTO THAT'S A SHIT CHARACTER JIN AND MAHIRO SATO DECIDED TO SUDDENLY WRITE INTO THE STORY i already put it in this post but let me attach it again

dear lord. anyways i've talked about that loads of times but i needed to include it in this talk cuz. yeah. i dont even HATE the rest of second manga route i just hate how takane is written specifically but since she's everything 2 me erm. you get my thumbs down!!! anyways having acknowledged second manga route we can move on.

back to main route discussion. so takane's backstory. not super deep, especially compared to other characters. yes her backstory is basically that she's sad because her boyfriend dies. but as ene there's so much more to unpack, right?! a character who will 100% accept a HALF DEATH because she's so determined not to die, but she's also mentioned to be tirelessly looking for her body because despite everything she's got HOPE? that's SUPER interesting, i love her!! what will she- *is obsessed with shintaro* ene's obsession with shintaro again ties in with everything else, desperate for attention, finds kinship with shintaro because she (or rather, ayano) decided he's compatible with her, but most importantly, he's doing badly and she wants to help him. takane isn't a person anymore, she's alive only as a technicality, so… she spends time with shintaro! but we ignore, it's TWO YEARS. and only in one of those she is with shintaro. we tend to overlook she spends the WHOLE TIME looking for her body in that other year. of course ene talks a lot about how much she loves her power, how much she loves being ene and not having to take care of her sick body but it's a REALITY that she wants to get it back. if she really didn't want it, why would she look for it and later get back into it when she does find it? but that's in between the lines. ene's obsession with shintaro is super interesting and you KNOW i love everything we know about takane be it her obsession with shintaro or her crush on haruka. i just wish there was....more.... like everyone else gets more! like HARUKA, a damn side character, gets more!!

haruka gets so SO much, he even bonds with SETO!! he gets a really well developed friendship with shintaro, he gets a very long detailed introduction scene with ayano with funny younger mekatrio shenanigans, he gets yuukei quartet hangout moments, he gets a GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH KENJIROU (fundamental imo as he's very important both in general and haruka and takane's social circle back then) and not just all that, but super thoughtfully written feelings about his illness, views on life, wishes... and all takane's story gets is…. she's sick, but it's ok it's not deadly, HARUKA HOWEVER…. oh, HE'S the real delicate one….especially since she's in love with him ofcourse!! dont forget!! btw she's grumpy cuz of her illness. she wishes she just didn't need sleep. aaanywaaays did we mention it's not as important as haruka's illness and btw she's in love with him?

unlike haruka, takane gets no relationship with ayano, and all their interactions are talking about how in LOVE they are with haruka and shintaro. no relationship with kenjirou beyond comic relief of ugh useless ass teacher, even revealed later on she stays in the dark about kenjirou forcing them to participate in the festival ON PURPOSE and playing her like that so she would be determined and make haruka join. her dynamic to shintaro pre being ene is just pitiful, and if it wasn't for his behavior towards her shintaro would be…. erm normal?? yea he's cold to ayano but that vs the way he randomly treats takane without even knowing her. god. imagine kagepro where shintaro DIDN'T do that. he'd still be flawed and stuff like what was the need😭 like HUUHH. takane gets nothing!!!!! and if we're still on the shintaro subject, why she's the asshole for being a menace as ene? whatever. i support women's wrongs. bully him harder.

to continue comparing haruka and takane. takane mentions grandma makes her lunch, grandpa is dead, and they're both SUPER worried about her illness. there's…. nothing about their personalities or their relationship to her. meanwhile, haruka mentions everything! he's all like my illness… when it killed my mother it was exactly when the doctors said it would. my dad is cold and a little strange and doesnt spend time at home. we have a live in helper who does chores. like that's already so much deeper!

u find out through another mention later on that takane's parents work overseas but you dont know ANYTHING else despite it being so specific. while haruka goes on about his relationship with his dad or rather lack of relationship, and there's even some stranger at home doing chores for him. and again HE GETS TO HAVE A CLOSE RELATIONSHIP WITH KENJIROU, heavily written as a father/son dynamic. man.

you're so scared to touch him at first, when he comes across your reclusive cave- most who come into contact with your azure rings die within hours, if not minutes, so when a curious Abyssal beast pokes his head in with a trill, you only yelp and shout for him to leave. but he swims closer, tilting his head and examining your markings with fascination as you back away, freezing when one of his gauzy fins brushes against a tentacle. this is it- he'll die and you'll have another corpse to deal with, weeping bitter tears all the while. but... nothing happens. the creature simply blinks, chirping and gently poking your tentacle while looking at you with a kind gaze of crystal sapphire

you find yourself sobbing, anyway, but they're sobs of joy and relief rather than sorrow

the two of you are never parted after that- Legacy's been wandering the sea for as long as he can remember, looking for a place to call home. you finally have someone to snuggle with, his arms wrapping happily around your waist and your tentacles clinging to his scaley tail as you bury your face against his shoulder, praying he doesn't hear the emotional sniffs you let out. he does, but he's kind enough to not point them out. you're significantly squishier but more flexible than he is, able to fit in even the tiniest spaces- occasionally when you're angry or scared you'll curl up in a crevice somewhere, Legacy peering through and chittering sadly, trying to coax you out so at least if you're pouting, it's in his arms instead of a lonely hole in the wall

it was a lot easier to ask for things for christmas when i was younger. i was five, so if i was shown a toy i probably would say i wanted it. being a five year old, i mostly cared about the receiving part - a stuffed dog, a bucket of tiny horses, a playmobil train, didn’t really matter, it was mine now. a few years later pokemon began airing on tv and anything with pikachu on it was guaranteed to be a hit. im unsure of the occasion but i remember being given literal math practice books at some point and loving doing my additions and multiplications because they were pokemon themed. it was truly so, so easy.

then i got a little older and my desires started to get a little more complex. pikachus were still pretty cool and all but i wasnt happy with just any toy anymore: i cared about my cartoons and the things i saw in commercials, and so i would ask for those things. i knew about super soakers, and nerf guns, and moon shoes, and sock ‘em boppers, but i also knew the difference between, say, a stuffed animal of a brown dog and one of scooby doo. i knew disappointment, too, because i could tell when i was handed something in lieu of the other. at the time i couldnt have possibly understood why the substitutions got made, but i could see when it happened.

then i got a little older and developed hobbies and preferences. i had opinions on things, i had feelings, and i started to learn how to express these ideas. i could articulate why one thing could not be a substitute for another, and how i felt when it was handed to me anyway, and also what i thought about being given a great many things i did not ask for instead of those that i did. i became frustrated with clothes and socks and other such things because i knew that when i needed them we could go get them. they didnt feel special or thoughtful. they seemed like an excuse to have one more box to hand me, one more thing to play coy about, one more thing to ooh and aah at and take photos of when i eventually held it up. and so the ideals of gift-giving began to erode.

of course, i hadnt quite learned of the whys. they were specifically kept from me, and from my sisters, so we could play family (as it were). theyre pretty evident now, knowing what i know as i type this, but at the time things kind of just. crumbled away. there were some nice surprises where the spirit felt alive and real, like the year we received ipod nanos. (3rd gen, i think? they were skinny but still had a touch wheel with the button in the center.) i remember crying incoherently as i held mine, and i also remember my entire family being stunned and confused (they clearly hadnt expected that reaction either). i think i was simply overwhelmed to have been given such a nice thing after coming to expect disappointment.

there was also the year we were given the gamecube, and our game boy advance sps, but they didnt feel as special because we knew it was mostly since an older cousin had given us her super nintendo and our parents wanted us to entertain ourselves. it actually led to a lot of frustration that our parents didnt attempt to understand, because you cannot do ‘similar to’ with a video game unless you actually bother to find out what it is. which really started to highlight what felt weird about the gift-giving all those years: whose thoughts, exactly, have gone into this ‘thoughtful’ gift?

it’s a hard question to answer, and really depends on who you are talking to. this being tumblr, i can assume someone reading is familiar with ‘i see a cool bug/rock/blorbo’ -> ‘i send it to my cool bug/rock/blorbo friend’. it’s kind of ingrained in the culture. but we also (largely) understand that theres variance and specialty within these categories, that not all blorbos are the same, and that most blorbos are very different, actually, to the point where people debate what constitutes an ‘actual’ representation of the ones they care about. but theres also people that dont care that deeply and are mostly only there because their friend is, or because they like the character’s design, or any number of other reasons, and knowing where to meet them on their interest kind of requires knowing more than just ‘oh they like this’.

and so we get disconnects, and misunderstandings, and disappointment, and frustration. and we get not knowing why one thing is ok but another isnt, or why you can interchange two things but this third one is unacceptable, it seems like theres no way of knowing but could you have known? was this there all along? did i skip i question or, more importantly, pass on an answer i was given? and so i think upon such things. and i see where things could have diverged, or evidence thereof. and i consider that to give and receive not only requires two, but also a connection to have been made. ‘oh!’ you might say, ‘that mug has a pikachu and some snowflakes on it! i always send something with a pikachu, this will be that this year!’ and you mail it and it sits on my shelf, unused. collecting dust. i dont even use it to store anything.

and so i began seeing what the thoughts were. i saw that i was given twelve balls of yarn in six different colors because theyre fun and aesthetically pleasing, but the thought did not contain ‘this is not enough of an individual color to make anything larger than hat and scarf’. i saw i was given a shirt that says ‘# serf life’ on it because it was meant as a family joke and i do think it is a funny shirt to wear, but the thought did not contain how i felt about what the joke references at the time it became a ‘joke’. i saw i was given some books i had asked for by title and volume number because i have been trying to get the entire out-of-print series, but the thought did not contain ‘i wonder why candy only ever asks for these specific books’. over several years i saw i was given many books that are similar to but not within the series (or even genre) i was obsessed with because they get sorted together as ‘humorous coffee table nonfiction’ at bookstores, but the thought did not contain what i liked about that series (trivia compilations), why i stopped reading that series (poorly verified), or why i had nothing to say about most of the previously gifted books.

and it goes on. years of this. we even do a grand show of sharing our christmas lists with each other, and fussing about getting under one roof to share them, and making a whole ceremony (complete with photographs) of opening everything, and sharing ‘oh i was at this place and thought of you when i saw it’, and it goes round and round and round and i am always just sitting there wondering if the next thing thats handed to me will actually have me in mind or it will simply be ‘thoughtful’.

i just dont know what to ask for christmas anymore.

Right so, this is my guy uh… Hold on I forgot his name. Ishbak Macroprososup, you can see why I forgot the name(plus the fact that it’s been almost like a full year since I last touched him. I forgot him like heaven did. I will explain that.) Used to go by Iskbak back in the day when the name was more common, but present day goes by Mac. Mac I had decided, was there all throughout history, just not memorable enough for Crowley or Aziraphale to care.

So Mac actually has a complicated history as a messenger, or a vessel. Except he doesn’t know that. To call upon the vessel, you call his name, Choncha. They just never told him for not only security reasons, because he possesses information from both heaven and hell, and was previously the communicator for both lands.

Mac was also a messenger for people as well, or just a vessel of good will or bad. Sent as different animals that would look more biblical angel like, but processes a power if you don’t look at him long enough, you wouldn’t notice this thing is not entirely one animal.

Some of my animal examples of him and a little colored in doodle to show his old coloring. There are little things he did to try and fit in, like dying his hair blond to look less demon like and more angelic, but he’s stopped since.

So that was his life before the war between heaven and hell. Which I made the fuck up but is mentioned in the show(I believe) but never mentioned when it took place. So again, made it the fuck up. I also never specify when it takes place. Uh, because idk I dont wanna decide that. Sure season three or something will clear this up. Again, don’t actually care that much.

Anyways, during the war, Mac’s wings got cut, giving him no access to heaven, but having not fallen, he wasn’t given access to hell either. He doesn’t know anything about elevators or stairwells or whatever have you. He really doesn’t know much of anything, since he is just a vessel without knowing it.

I had decided Crowley was there to sweep the lands when both parties retired or whatever have you. But finding Mac being abandoned, he hoped heaven would come back for him and spares his life. But on the other hand, heaven either forgot about him or thought he’d been a demon(do to the mud covered wings looking black).

So, Mac was left to roam the earth. He was found by a human while there. Who I don’t think I ever actually named, but is important and is based on my best friend.

So this human actually taught Mac basically how to live life. But of course, humans die. But while dying, our human promised to come back just for Mac. And without knowing it, had called upon the vessel to carry their memories until they got back. And now our human is reincarnated at random unassigned times. Although is cursed to always die soon after remembering Mac and their previous life. So when Mac found them, it was just a ticking time bomb. Mac eventually would feel awful for doing it and hides from his counterpart, not wanting them to have a shortened life. Unfortunately, their human is pulled to them and will always find him eventually.

Now eventually, I never decided the timeline on Crowley finding Mac, I think it was Aziraphale and Crowley find him together because they both now recall him over the years and shit, or a significant moment they had. Like Aziraphale and Mac had been drafted to war together, but faked their deaths with their platoon who all also died. Mac and Crowley, well, Crowley was there when Mac was stranded, and they had been in a few events together. So the two are like, “Um, it’s kinda dangerous to have an unattended…” They are not sure if Mac is an angel or a demon, and neither is Mac. He already has multiple sets of mismatched wings, it wouldn’t help solve it, and Mac wouldn’t pull out his wings anyways.

But Mac is definitely there when Aziraphale returns to heaven. Because Aziraphale looks into him and finds out he is Choncha. And since he is a vessel, Aziraphale can actually use him to get back to earth, see Crowley, and eat foods and such. Yknow, sin and shit. But it does have an effect on Mac’s psychic. As he keeps losing time and even his form is beginning to reflect Aziraphale’s liking. Dressing more like him and all. But, Aziraphale not being down there doesn’t know this.

Some doodles and dabbles of the inbetween stuff of that. And finally we bring in another person. My sibling’s self insert who I’m pretty sure I made up for the most part. Other than the design. They designed this character. Their name is Mastema, or it may be a temporary and because I forgot their actual one. Don’t remember and if I asked I don’t think he’d remember either.

I’ll talk about them next post because I have a little comic and limited photos I can add.

there are multiple theories about who those people could be, but I choose to believe theyre 2/5 out of Shirobon because

Hi :3, I need your help to find a ff. I'm genuinely so hung up on it that I haven't shat in 3 days, and I will probably peel my skin off and go insane if I dont find it.

It's a bnha fic on quotev, was about 20-35 chapters in. It's name was something along the lines of "God are you there" or "God really does exist" in either Latin or spanish. The story was pre-anime so none of the characters except for chisaki were introduced. The Mc had a quirk, something along the lines of biomass with which she could touch and absorb living things and use them later on. I'm pretty sure it was reader not oc. Anyway, the story followed the mc who lived in an orphanage, which supplied children to an illegal lab where experiments were conducted. Mc was taken there with a few other kids from the orphanage. They later tried to break out, Mc was the only one who was successful. She met a lady soon enough who helped her and she lived with that Lady, there were also some mentions of that lady having a girlfriend. That lady was killed in a grocery store shooting and the Mc sought out to take revenge, eventually meeting chisaki, but younger.

Yeah, that's how much i can remember.

Is skk abusive? Other than the name calling and banter that I just don't take seriously, I've seen people say that Dazai is abusive since he planned for Chuuya to be tortured in stormbringer and didn't help because it would be boring, despite having the ability to do so. There's also the whole manipulating the sheep thing.

I've also seen people say that Chuuya is abusive because of how violent he is, how he punched Dazai to wake him up in Dead Apple and called him inhuman(? Ngl, I don't remember that part) and because Chuuya shot him more times than necessary in Meursault.

Personally, I struggle to see them as abusive r toxic, if only because of how much they trust and understand each other, and how they rile each other up for fun without letting it actually impact their relationship, but I may just be biased? What do you think?

Ok im just gonna say - dont take this post ad some 100% real wisdom or anything. It's just my personal opinion and it's definitely biased as well because of how much these two mean to me but yeah

I wouldn't call them abusive in relationship terms because all that banter and most of their fights are just, as u said it, unserious.

They're both fucked up a bit tho, so yeah there's definitely some toxic behaviours anyway.

Dazai manipulating Chuuya to join the sheep always made me real sad, but if you think about it more - Dazai knew The Sheep aren't any better for Chuuya. Plus if not like this, Mori would get Chuuya to join PM anyway in one way or another, since it was a plan from the beginning.

Dazai planned the whole 'helping Verlaine' thing to buy time so the PM forces could get ready to protect Mori and Chuuya later. That's mafia they're in - lives are not equal. Also Dazai wouldn't put Chuuya in danger he knew the other wouldn't be able to deal with. Either way, his whole yapping about wanting to see Chuuya being tortured is yet again that stupidly weird banter of theirs. After all, he's trying to find him and literally stop him from doing something he would regret. (Sab is trying to make some points but that still doesn't make whatever Dazai did something good. Just sayin. I just don't feel it's a black or white situation.)

I said it some time ago but lord, Chuuya is not abusive. Look, he knows when it's alright to fight Dazai and when he should stop himself not to hurt him. Even if they fight, he never does it seriously. Basement scene? He could've very well just punched Dazai without warning there. But instead he literally invited him to fight - and Dazai very much agreed to that sht with a smile on his lips. They're just very much not okay in the head on both sides. Later when Chuuya actually got angry, he himself threw his knife to the ground, which only shows he doesn't really have any intent of hurting Dazai seriously (In the manga. In the anime they changed it for whatever reason and he did strike him with the knife. But anime skk is just. Anime skk.).

That Dead Apple argument is so funny bc??? Chuuya was literally UNDER CORRUPTION AT THE TIME??? Corruption literally makes him lose control. He could kill a person with one touch. Instead??? Corruption Chuuya in dead apple somehow managed to hold himself back just enough not to actually hurt Dazai. Also, Dazai f knew he's gonna punch him anyway. I mean, bro kinda deserved it atp tbh /j

Cant really tell much about the shooting thing in Meursault - i stil have no f idea if these were even real, considering the fact Dazai is moving normally and there's no wounds/holes/blood visible on him or his clothes. These were probably just a play like the whole headshot thing?? (Tho dazai's scream and expression after that arm shot say otherwise),, really don't know, call it a better impression on Fyodor or Chuuya actually paying Dazai back for the other times

Ok so ,looks at all that sht i just wrote and tried to still excuse it somehow, I wouldn't call them abusive anyway just bc I've seen actual abusive relationships in real life and that's just uhh different in a way i cant really put my finger on,, there's some toxicity simply from the fact they're emotionally constipated and won't talk things thru like they should but,,, welp. Tbh i see most of their usual fighting as something unserious that both of em r okay with. Usually when they actually get into an argument about something it's because one actually got hurt by the other's words (for example that scene with Chuuya punching Dazai after he made jokes about Colonel's death). And they apologize without really apologizing, too (Dazai going to find Shibusawa and trying to take revenge on Colonel's death and later Chuuya going to rescue Dazai and saying to 'wait for him').

Unpopular opinion but i honestly feel that in the future they could very well form a normal, healthy relationship. They just really need to talk. Bickering and calling each other names for fun isn't imo really a form of abuse, when both sides know it's not meaning to hurt the other fr (if it was, then me and most of my friends would be fr abusing each other unfortunately) (and I don't feel abused even if we call each other names and say we hate each other, while watching cat reels together at the same time) (consider this some sibling-like stuff)

If nothing of whatever i just said makes sense, don't eat me please, it's just really hard for me to explain what i really think without being able to just talk for 5h straight while considering every ppint of view

Can I just say the ending of BSD season 5 was one of Dazai's dumbest moments?

!!Heavy BSD spoilers btw!!

Obviously a helicopter crash can kill the average human, especially when they're stabbed in the gut and can't leave. But this is Fyodor we're talking about. He's definitely not a normal human being. This season alone he proved he can escape death, as seen in Dazais death trap. So why would Dazai expect Fyodor to be dead by just a simple plane crash and stab to the gut with the only evidence of his demise being a torn arm?

My points:

Nikolai possibly saving Fyodor last minute: Nikolai was right there. The guy who not only allianced himself with Fyodor, but also has teleportation abilities. Who's to say that while the plane crashed, Nikolai hadn't used his ability to save Fyodor? Mentally challenged caracters like Nikolai, who dreams about killing a friend/rival, usually dont really wanna kill their rival. They have a change of heart at the last minute and try hard to keep said rival alive. I'm sure Nikolai has that same mentality.

Chuuya's disguise: Lets be honest, there's no way Fyodor was convinced about Chuuya being a vampire with just some contact lenses and fake teeth. I'm sure he had some sort of plan before entering the helicopter. What if that pause before he entered the door wasnt just him thinking about Dazai's "death" but also how its too easy, or maybe he knew this would happen so he made some sort of precaution plan before hand.

Sigma: Remember how Sigma touched Fyodor? Well we still dont know Fyodor's true ability and it's lazy writing to just kill a big antagonist without giving all the lore. What if Sigma either had an ability he didnt know about or Fyodors secret ability was to transfer himself/pieces of himself to others. We still know little about Sigma, and he's just as mysterious as Fyodor. Thats why I think Dazai choosing Sigma as an option wasn't just to free/give Sigma a better life, but maybe Dazai knew more about Sigmas purpose.

Fyodor having no dead body shown: At the end, all we have is an arm and deadly scene to go off of. If I were Dazai, I'd definitely use Chuuya to check Fyodors remains. Like, dude said "aight theres an arm, so he's dead. Lets go Chuuya!" Im scenarios like this, it mostly implies that Fyodor isnt dead and would likely have some big reveal later on.

Dead or not, it would prob take us 5 years till the next season drops. The anime is caught up to the manga, so we gotta wait till enough chapters release for the animation to start back up. Anyways love BSD either way and can't wait to see the future of the series.

Hot take: I’m mad that Izzy’s secret in the fourth book is that she was also scared Olly isnt funny enough LIKE WDYM WHY DOES ALL THE MISFITS GET ANGSTY DEVELOPMENT SECRETS BUT NOT THE TWINS.. like Izzy, I dont think its cool for ur biggest concern to be your brother also not being funny enough. Someone pointed out that they maybe just didn’t have such huge concerns since like they are more sheltered than the others but still like I would have liked a bit more for their individual personalities to shine in that moment. Izzy I can see you lying theres no way thats your biggest worry…

I mean i sorta get its for the jokes but also everyones being truthful and maybe they dont have any secrets or worries at all but still 💔

I mean like IDK i just feek like that shouldnt be her biggest worry and if she was joking that wasnt rlly fair to the others who were telling their truthful secrets and worries.

Also when Mr Vernon reassured the Misfits in the end in reference to their secrets it just feels like the twins’ worries were so minor compared to the others and so it was like sorta more casual but still touching ig idk.

Everytime Mr Vernon advices the twins or something it doesn’t feel like he connects to them as much as the others. Which I understand completely, but it feels like they don’t have like that bond that the other Misfits had with their mentor.

This is all just proving that we need further twin exploration and another book on them because the amount of things that could have been added or explored like!! We’re so deprived of their further interactions with the Misfits and I would have really liked to see their personality individually! Rare fun platonic pairings could have been added more and again I feel that Mr Vernon and the twins deserved to know each other more like yeah theyre funny and they bring the joy to the group but what else ya know?

Like some scenes of them were very very wholesome but also like really brushed off like that scene in Book 2 where Olly got his ear basically burst by the balloon helpppp. I mean the scene where Izzy was seen running to him and cradling his head was so sweet (me surviving on the crumbs) and then like that it was over and brushed off sighhh. Also in Book 3, I don’t think it was shown in the books that the twins knew that Emily was mimicking their voices. Like all we know is one moment they’re mad and the next the misfits r all okay again and planning their next steps. Like were they actually told cause I rmb someone said something about that i forgot err. Imagine they actually still believed that their misfits badmouthed the Goldens but came back anyway cause theyre lovely friends. Obviously Im sure they were told eventually but like…why are the twins excluded in such a thing also why is it the next time we just see them all okay again like the RARE moment they get mad at each other (since theyve always been neutral throughout the entire book) and then its all resolved without us seeing it? I get they could have told them offbook but BRO… LET US SEE THEM!

We need an animated series or an extra book or snippet of them cause they actually deserve content a lot and theyre so cuties and ahhhhh. Also apparently there’s a bonus chapter on the twins???? Creds to @charliedrawsstuffig for telling me cause i was SHOCKED.

There’s only so much fics can do, which by the way very very happy to see how big the numbers have grown cause I totally remembered a time when we were still in single digits LFMAO. So yeah! If an animated series comes out like fr then I hope we get more twin moments and bondings and such. If not, then after my exams I’m taking the reigns and making animatics HAHA.
