#i just put in a layaway order for a blank doll chateau noah :)#idk how im gonna make them look yet!! i was originally gonna get a k-body-15 with a dream valley freyja head#(& hope the neck size difference wasnt too weird lmao)#but i cant find that one anymore?? like no one seems to sell it. idk#so now im planning to get the k-body-12 for that head which seems to be basically the same but human instead of deertaur#(also i like the legs better on the noah body anyway so it works out)#so im probably gonna recycle part of the idea i had for that. particularly the outfit bc i had something picked out#that should work well with the weird body shape lmAO#but the only one in stock was in peach & im used to getting plain white. like it doesnt look thaaaat much different its very very light#but i might have to lean into the peach/pink tones a little to not make it look weird in contrast with my other dolls lmao#maybe ill throw in some purple? i think like a desaturated reddish purple for blushing might work well#with the more neutral tones i had in mind for the clothes. but i do think in general im going to work in more color than initially planned#& the other one can be more monochrome. whenever i get that lmao#ANYWAY since its layaway it will still be like. six months. unless i pay it off early (we will see)#but im used to preorders which already take about that long so its really no different tbh#im so excited i dont think ive bought a bjd since mint on card closed. i used to get everything through them since i was in the same state#i wonder how their fucking. airbnb business is going lmao

Anyway, Judgment blew me away when I first played it. The story and characters are phenomenal, but Yagami absolutely astounded me with his role as the MC. His character arc and personal struggles were, and still are, incredibly relatable, and he's quickly become one of my favorite protagonists in video games and in general media. When Halloween came onto the horizon this year, I knew who I was gonna dress up as.
Roommates and I had a blast getting these photos, and they had both great ideas for poses and how to make me look good lol.

FINALLY bought con tickets 👁👁

always forget how much fun i find lineless digital painting until i do it again, for some reason i always expect it to be hell but then i get started and it's like,,, oh wait this fucks actually

this is about fifteen mins in, I did a simple sketched outline of the bulk shapes first and then blocked out the gist of everything with my paint brush, and I've just gone in and detailed the hands a bit (since they're a good starting place i think for figuring out lighting :3 <- has no idea what they're talking about)
#to be fair this one is a bit easier since i'm using a photo to go off of fdsjkl#so i can reference it for shadows and whatnot#but the hair is different and the outfit is different (the guy does have a hood up though which is incredibly helpful)#the background is the photo btw fdsjkl i ain't doing all that#this is for my fake polaroids project fsjdkl going to just do some random snapshot sort of things#i have ... no schooling or teaching on anything so i really do not have any idea what im doing 90% of the time HFSDGJKL#so if i say some shit... just nod along okay LMAO unless u have something helpful to tell me then pls do dsjkl i love learning#when u are afraid of the art classes in highschool and are afraid to show anyone ur art basically ever then u dont get opportunity to learn#but !! i am figuring shit out myself and its fun to study my art and figure out what im doing that's good and what needs work#and then learning how to study other artists work and figure out what THEYRE doing that u like a lot and how to incorporate it into ur own#but yeah i do wish i'd taken art class in highschool ig fdsfjkl i probably would've been too scared to do much though RIP#me when i ramble for ages about art oops okay back to working on my shit fhdsghjkl#dandy.cmd#doodlebug.jpeg
