Sure she acknowledges that her brother is studying to become a nurse and that she’s still on her way to become a full fledge doctor but who cares? THIS IS HER LOVER SHES TALKING ABOUT!! She’s already planning out the wedding theme and the invitations, future last name, future pets, house, and the kids names! darling only stared at her for just barely 3 seconds and that was all because darling darling mistook her for a pal of theirs

im sorry you've literally never talked about Pan before on this blog but I've been thinking about it recently. in her introduction in GT, she wants a boyfriend, but it seems more like a status symbol for her than a romantic desire. But she occasionally talks about people who are together in a way that implies it's Very Important to her, which combined leads me to think she cares about it in the context of 'people who are romantic should care for each other' i.e. it's less about the romantic aspect than it is about the bond. because she comes from a HEAVILY family-oriented family.

She's so real for prioritizing that bond ... I always felt like she wanted a BF at the beginning of GT becasue A.) she is a maturing girl .. allow her to follow her nature ..... And B.) Becasue she's trying to seem more grown (another thing that kids her age tend to do and it makes sense that we see her do it a lot becasue her parents seem very strict in GT, she is just DESPERATE for her freedom and the power to be responsible for herself!) But yeah she's a kid venturing out into the world, her wanting a BF at that young age does not contradict at all with the idea that she may end up someone without romance but with a priority for interpersonal bonds.

Your mate is overjoyed. This is great news! 

Even if the two of you weren’t planning this, he still loves the thought of you carrying his child, of you having his child. Yeah, this definitely isn’t bad news to him.

But he understands if you’re kinda freaking out about this, it was a surprise to you both.

Still, he’s going to be right there for you. Super involved and supportive, assuring you that you’re going to have the best medical care (better than anything you could get on earth). It’s all going to be fine.

Pops had called him as soon as he got the knees he was back from the U.S.A. bussines talk and also getting the advantage to catch up. But that part he wasn't interested in one bit, since he just needed to knew what this man's importance was.

Suddenly a melody, a beautiful one, interrupted the center of the conversation. He never was one to care for much things, but this song... had catched his attention.. somehow.

"Ah, forgive my daughter. She likes to play on her... uh, mandolin I guess, on this hour of the afternoon."

He only stared at the old man before getting up with a sigh and just following the sounds of the music coming from the garden behind the house.

As soon as he opened the glass sliding door he saw a girl, with (h/c) flying along with the calm wind, closed eyes as her fingers played the cords but soon it stopped when sudden (e/c) orbs stared right into his which made him subconsciously flinch. A giggled escaped the girl's mouth as he glared at her as she stood up coming near him.

"Hello. What brings you here?"

Silence. He merely blinked as he stared at you with stoic eyes. He expected you to be upset or even to scoff at his actions. But none. You giggled.

"Not one to talk much? That's okay. But... can I at least know your name?"

He didn't know why. He didn't know how...

But his name slipped his lips at the sound of your sweet voice asking his name.

That was new... his eyes glared holes at the three before a boy pushing you to the ground where you fell on your back.

Before he could even think of. He could feel your arms around him, holding him back from beating even more those brats up as they run away while crying.

"CHISAKI WHAT HAS GOTTEN INTO YOU?! STOP IT ISN'T WORTH IT!" your cries woke him more than the feeling of blood on his hands as he shakily exhaled, scoffing as you let him go.

"What is it? Is it.. is it bad?" You looked in dissapointment at the dessert you made before looking up at hearing him sigh.

"No. It tastes fine." You sighed dramatically making him suppress a small smile. "Is just... there is... why are you nice to me in the first place?"

There was a silence before you chuckled and sitted down next to him, knees draw close to your chest.

"Well... remember that fight you got yourself into?" He nodded, finally closing his book and paying fully attention to you "Wasn't it obvious? They were my ex classmates... from being quirkless, it comes the bullying too so.. I.. kinda have no friends?" You laughed sadly as he stared at you before quickly looking away with a blush when you noticed his staring.

"If that helps... I dont have friends either. Is only a distraction anyway." You snorted at his comment.

AU where Sarada figures out that her parents are gay before her parents know or come into terms with it.

Ideas:

Sarada figured out she was bisexual at 16. Curiously, she started to go online and research more about the LGBTQIA community and learn everything about it.

The more she learned more about it, the more she realized that her parents display the traits or examples of someone being closeted, or someone who might be a lavender marriage, and the more things started to make more sense to her now compared to when she was 11-13 with her parents.

It wasn't until she was 21, when it was hinted to her by her father. It was a rainy afternoon in April, her and her father were in the house watching TV. Sakura was working at the hospital for the whole afternoon.

After a 3-4 hour long talk, Sasuke admitted to her that he thinks that he only got with Sakura because he wanted to rebuild his clan and she was the only one who was willing to bear his children.

Sarada asked "but did you want to because you loved her?" sasuke hesitated for a few seconds

Sasuke: "I'm not sure." He answered "I wanted to rebuild my clan and fix the discrimination that occurred in my clan..... but I think in the back of my head, I kinda thought I would do it the IVF (in vitro fertilization) way because I thought no woman would ever want an 18/19 year old post war criminal......."

Sasuke knows he's at the point that he can either lie and just deal with it later. He can just say yes and end the conversation, but there's a chance she'll question him even more. He already admitted to her that he thought he would have kids via IVF. But there is a chance she'll understand and leave it alone for another day and they can act like this never happened, but....

adam is definitely more protective as a principle. belle’s protective too of course but adam is so fervently loyal and tethered to his family. again belle is TOO but it’s different. for adam, this wonderful wife, these beautiful children, they’re gifts he never thought he’d be worthy to have. they’re honors in his life he never dreamed of knowing. to adam, having a real family that cares about each other and fights with and for each other and teases and jokes and shares and forgives one another — all of that was like some far off fantasy to him. more than just growing up in a village never expecting to find the right person, as was the case for belle. adam just never thought he’d care. never expected his heart to be opened so wide and for so much love to pour out. never expected to love someone so fiercely as he loves belle. or to have children and to feel such unconditional love for them. so he’s protective and worries about them a lot because he understands how valuable they are and how precious and how absolutely fortunate he is to have them because he never expected to. he’s so protective of his children.

so first! i am.. very eccentric. i am introverted, but i love spending time with my friends whenever i can. im also that type of person who is shy/quiet around people i don't know but very loud and boisterous around people i do know. i have a justice/bravery soul i guess. my friends consider me to be very funny. i have a big ego sometimes,,, but i can also think i'm like awful two seconds later? i like to be the more dominant one in the relationship? like i would have NO PROBLEMS if my partner wanted to be a house-spouse and i had to support our family. i use she/they prounouns if that matters. i am pretty flirty with my partner and love seeing them flustered. i bottle up my emotiona and i probably will until the day i die, and i try to keep up a happy/funny persona. i am kinda impulsive and reckless? physically, i'm like 5'7, have dyed hair and i have a nose peircing. i hope to get a septum in the future and maybe get my tongue split?

i am actually physically strong, even without working out. im very enthusiastic and creative? im pretty independent (but that may come from the social anxiety not allowing me to ask for help even if i need it).

Lord isn’t touchy at all. He actually has a pretty strong aversion to most physical touch until much later in the relationship so intimacy takes a while. Here's an Endgame fix-it I would love but don't have the patience to write.

So, Steve goes back in time. Everybody's all pissed because its so out of character, and why is Peggy worth more than Tony or Bucky, all that. But, hear me out.

Steve goes back and the first thing he does is find Peggy and Howard. Convince them its really him, somehow get them to believe the time travel nonsense, all that. They play it up like he survived the crash and found his way home because it's only been like, a week, if that, since the Valkryie went down.

Steve gets Howard and Peggy to help him look for Bucky. He has a vague idea of where he should be at this point, but no solid details, so it takes a little while. This derails any interest Howard had in the Manhattan Project, especially since Steve is Very Vocal about his hatred of the idea.

(Now, I dont have the knowledge to even begin to theorize what would have happened in a reality where Steve Rogers was around to Loudly and Publicly as Captain America declare his disapproval of something as huge and significant as the Manhattan Project. For the sake of my brain, we are going to say that they met a lot more resistance than they otherwise would have, but it still happened because the American Government is awful.)

They find Bucky within a few years of Steve's crash and survival. Obviously he's still all kinds of fucked up because of torture, experimentation, cryo, etc. But 5-6 years is a whole he'll of a lot different than 70+. Shield still gets built, honestly Steve couldn't imagine it with any other name, but Bucky's return reveals that Hydra is still around and that Operation Paperclip was a bad idea (Zola). So they clean house early. Peggy becomes Director because Howard is to busy with his tech, and Steve and Bucky both said no. They do work for the newly built Shield though, running ops and hunting Hydra. They also might as well be married. Its still illegal for the time, so they're careful, but all the people who matter to them know and none of them care that the Captain and his Sargeant are doing the horizontal mambo.

Steve was friends with Tony, even if it didn't work out that well. And for all their differences, well earned and understandable, Tony and Howard had a lot more in common than Tony would ever want to admit. So Steve learns from the mistakes he made with Tony, and keeps Howard from turning into the monster he was in Tony's memories.

He mother hen's Howard into drinking less, drags him out to socialize more(Bucky is a huge help with that), calls him out when he's being a dick, and puts him in his place when his ego, or his head, gets too big for his britches.

Howard gets Steve to actually sell his art, builds him neat gadgets and armor, teases him to no end about Bucky, and is consistently endangering both of their lives on his never ending quest to get Steve drunk. (Bucky might have more sense than both of them, but he's also an adrenaline junkie with a hard-on for mechanical anything, so he is no help whatsoever and Peggy constantly despaired that the fate of the world lies with these overgrown children.)

When Howard marries Maria, Steve stands up for him at the wedding. The first time Howard made Maria cry because he ignored her/forgot something important/said something mean without meaning too, Steve beat him over the head and gave him a Captain America lecture, made Howard bake an apology cake himself, then dragged Howard back to Stark manner to apologize. The second time it happened, Bucky showed up in whatever place Howard had fallen asleep, dressed in full combat gear, cussed him out in Russian and threatened to shoot him. The third and last time it happened, Peggy showed up in Howard's lab, had him tied up before he even new she was there, and calmly informed him of exactly how she would torture him into a slow and agonizing death, as well as how exactly, she would get away with it.

Howard still forgot things, and could be careless with his time, but they never let him get bad, never let him forget how much he Did Not deserve Maria. And when Tony was born they were there for him. Steve refused to let Howard ignore his son, dragged him (figuratively) the first time Howard showed any sign of jealousy towards Tony. It wasn't perfect, nothing could be. But this Tony would grow up with a bumbling inventor of a father who was only forgetful and easily distracted, rather than an alcholic with a mean streak. He would have a mother who wasn't afraid of her husband and would love him even if she didn't always understand him.

He would have a godfather, his Uncle Steve, who would teach him to fight, to stand up for what was right no matter what, who would play games with him, paint with him, love him.

He would have his Uncle Bucky, who would share his interest in all things mechanical, would listen to music with him, take apart and build machines with him, teach him dirty jokes and play pranks on his Dad or Uncle Steve, who would listen to all of his ideas and tell him he could do anything.

He would have his godmother, Aunt Peggy, who would teach him how to play the game that is high society, would teach him how to charm the socks (rather pants) off of anyone, male, female, or otherwise, who would help him when emotions got to difficult, or people didn't make sense the way he thought they should.

Steve would find the others too. Phil did alright on his own, but everyone else...

Shield would be looking for the Red Room from the start. Maybe they find Natasha as a child, or a teenager, but they would find her, because Steve would want to save her after all the times she saved him. She would get placed with a loving family, probably a shield agent and their spouse. She would have therapy, but even a couple of years with the Red Room would mess her up. She would eventually end up an agent herself, still the Black Widow, just a little less damaged. A hero because she wants to be, knows what it means to be saved by one, rather than a way to repent and repay the lives that she took.

They would find Clint probably around the time Barney and Trickshot turned on him, before he had a chance to start on his mercenary career. Therapy, maybe a shield agent foster parent for a year or two depending on his age. They would make no secret about recruiting him, but he would jump at it. Nat would probably already be there, and nothing would stop that friendship. Coulson is probably a few years ahead of them, though not many, and if there is anyone who could reign in Hawkeye, even a slightly less damaged version, it would be Phil Coulson.

Tony meets Bruce. Howard takes Steve's admittedly limited knowledge of Bruce's past and tracks down the kid. Creates a scholarship to get him to a private school and away from his dad. They meet at a Stark expo in their early teens and immediately hit it off. Bruce is one of the only people who can keep up with Tony's genius. When Tony ends up at MIT (sometime between the ages of 14-16) Bruce ends up at Harvard. They share an apartment, because the dorms would have been a disastrous idea. Steve and Bucky live with them because they might be super geniuses but you can't send two teenagers to live alone in another city Howard! Especially not when they have access to dangerous and/or explosive chemicals/tech!

Likely, Howard will still die at some point, probably from all the liquor. Fury will probably still end up as Shield's director because neither Steve or Bucky will want the responsibility. Tony will take over SI, but will still eventually hire Pepper, and eventually promote her, because running a company is never going to be his thing.

Bruce will probably still end up at Culver with Betty, if only because he's actually halfway decent at the whole teacher thing, and the Hulk incident will likely still happen one way or another. Having Steve Rogers alive would not stop men like Ross from wanting the serum. Instead of disappearing for years on end, He'll end up in Tony's tower in NYC. Tony will likely still be kidnapped, though he probably would not have the Obadiah Stane factor involved, and would still end up as Iron Man.

They would "find" the Steve still frozen and thaw him out around that time. Play it off like they found someone for Old Steve to pass the mantle onto. Give Young Steve a new identity, and a family in Old Steve and Bucky.

Young Steve would make friends with Tony, would have time to grieve his lost world without an alien invasion. Would move into the tower and mother hen Tony the way Old Steve used to do to Howard. Tony would not have all the Cap resentment he did in the original timeline, so he would get to know Young Steve as just Steve. Would be able to see him as an entirely seperate person from his godfather, because they are two separate people. Young Steve and Tony would fall in love.

Even if they weren't running it Old Steve and Bucky would still have a hand in Shiled. Would keep an eye on Natasha and Clint. They would have likely met Tony, Bruce, and Young Steve. So when the Chitauri roll in, the only one that wouldn't already be a part of the group is Thor and he fits in seamlessly. Coulson might still get hurt, but Fury wouldn't have to fake his death, because the Avengers would have been a team years before they were needed.

And when the time came to face Thanos again, they would do it as a united front, and they would win. Because together, they are unstoppable.

Chapter Song Inspiration: “It’s a Sin” by Eddy Arnold Summary: Asra finally gets some insight to the events of the past...and meets with a mysterious stranger

 Chapter 5: Sin

“Do you have any intent to marry me, Asra?”

The question startled him, though he figured it was bound to happen sooner or later. People were getting married left and right, especially with the war finally ending, and he knew how important stability was to her, how much she needed it.

Her question didn’t have the malice he expected, though. It was concise, neat, like she’d been playing it in her head, over and over again, like she was deciding exactly how she wanted to say it.

He didn’t know what to say. He didn’t know how to tell her that the ring in his pocket was shaped just for her finger, or how he was, in fact, planning on marrying her.

She wasn’t angry, or even disappointed. Her expression was neutral, like that of the nun who used to smack her ruler against his knuckles.

The shock wears off before it’s too late to save the subject, and he puts on that charming grin he was so used to getting into trouble for. His arm winds around her waist, pulling her flush against him, pressing a kiss to her temple.

“Intentions are nothing, sweetheart.” His lips are soft as they trace the curve of her jaw, “I’m gonna marry you.”

She smiles, thrilled and seduced, and so very, very in love, tilting her head back just enough for him, “And what if the war sweeps you away from me?”

“I promised you, right?” He kisses her jaw, “I’m gonna marry you, one of these days.”

She pulls away, rolling her eyes, “One day soon?”

He kisses her, full on the mouth, tipping her chin, “Very, very soon.”

The train jolts, knocking his head against the window and pulling him out of the altogether unpleasant memory - dream? Dream of a memory? He didn’t know the terminology.

He checks to be sure that he still has his bag and that everything is still in place, and that Faust wasn’t hurt in the commotion. He was still shaken from the memory, and knew that he hadn’t been wrong in saying that intentions were nothing.

Obviously, as he was still entirely unmarried and she was still without a spouse.

The thought has tears springing to his eyes, and with the way the woman adjacent to him was already looking up at him from her book, he wasn’t too keen on her judgemental stares - though, he thinks, Faust was bound to draw a few confused looks.

He should’ve married her then, under the stars. She would’ve loved that, he knows, just he and her and the priest to have them hitched, and…

Fuck, his intentions were shit, and he felt like shit.

And he wasn’t an idiot. He saw how Muriel looked at her. But when he had her, he felt like…

He felt immune, like there was nothing that could tear them apart, like they would be married and have babies and have a normal life, and he would go work in an office and they could manage the house and they would be together -

Instead, she was stuck in that damp hole in the wall, all on her own.

He couldn’t help but hate himself for that.

At least Muriel was there for her. Maybe he’d finally make a goddamn move.

He stands, silently excusing himself from the cart and making his way to the lavatory, pushing past the steward, tears stinging his eyes and Faust curling. Blessedly, no one else had the same idea and he's free to bawl his eyes out while he slides down the door, idly reaching up to lock the door.

He hiccups, pulling his legs to his chest, and it's so overwhelming, thinking of her, of who she used to be, and the fact that everyone around her couldn't help but to fall in love with her.

A shaky hand reaches into his pocket, pulling the simple golden wedding band free, sobbing into his hand.

He’s known for a long time now that he’d never really have her, not like she was. She was still the woman he fell in love with all those years ago, but there was more than that - or, less, he supposed, considering she didn’t even remember who she was.

He was still in love with her, in the little things she did, in the way she scrunched her nose when she was annoyed or how she would dance when the radio managed to croak out a song she felt deserved to be graced with the sway of her hips.

Sometimes, if he was daring enough, he’d stand up and dance with her - not like there was much work coming in nowadays anyway - and spin her just so, and she’d smile at him in just a way that nearly convinced him that she could possibly feel something for him the way he felt for her.

But he knew better, knew better than to believe that she could feel anything other than confused. It was only a matter of time before she asked about her family, who she was before, what, exactly, drove her to him in the first place.

Or, more terrifying, it was a matter of time before she tired of the waiting game and left.

He couldn’t blame her for wanting to leave, but it might just kill him.

He could live with her moving on, with finding someone new, even if it was Muriel, or Doctor Devorak, or some other man who deserved to be loved by her, and he was grateful for having felt it, even briefly, no matter how much he craved more.

He could live with her staying, with her complacency. With the two of them living together and solving their cases and just trying to make ends meet. He could live with pretending like he didn’t love her anymore, as long as he knew she was alright.

But the world was cruel, and she had only seen hard times.

Faust headbutts him, concern written across her little snake face, and he wished that she could talk, that he could ask her advice, for anyone’s advice, really, because the longer this went on, the more taxing it became.

And then, like a sign from god, Faust nudges the ring in his hand. He takes a shaky breath, the tears finally stopping, but a sob threatening to rack his chest again. He stands, careful not to jostle Faust too much, and stands before the toilet, truly unsure if he was ready to do this, or, hell, if it was the right thing to do, but he couldn’t hold on anymore, couldn’t…

The ring lands in the toilet in time with his stomach dropping, and it hurts, so damn much.

But it’s swept away with the flush of the toilet, and he has to put a hand on the far wall to steady himself because he was genuinely frightened that he would topple at any given moment.

Faust wraps herself around his neck, and he walks back to his cart in a half-daze, never having felt so simultaneously free, yet stuck.

He practically falls into his seat, letting his hand rest in his hand, and the woman doesn’t even bother trying to hide her stares behind her book this time.

Fine. Let her stare.

Maybe he was being selfish, lying to her, keeping her there, giving her the job and holding onto her with every fiber of his being, but there was too much on the line otherwise. Losing her was...too much.

He does get off on the Nevivon stop, though. He wouldn’t lie to her about that.

But, that didn’t stop him from lying about his intent -

No, he didn’t lie. He said it was business. Actual, money-making business, that would hopefully save them all from the pits of poverty.

He’s set to meet the client at a diner that Dr. Devorak has probably frequented at some point, and another pang of guilt hits him at the thought of the doctor.

The diner is quaint, if a little tacky and decidedly understaffed, though there’s only one customer, sitting in a booth, without anything in front of her. He figures that she’s either the client, or she’s some passerby he’s about to start an awkward conversation with.

“Detective?” The woman asks, voice stern and experienced, and it genuinely rattles Asra to his core, wondering what this woman must have seen.

He covers his nerves with a charming smile, holding his hand out to her as he stands by the booth, “Call me Asra.”

She stands and looks at his hand like it might carry some disease, but takes it, shaking it firmly, “You can help me?”

“That depends.” He jests, taking a seat, the client following suit, “So long as I’m not killing anyone, we should be fine.”

Her lips are pressed in a thin line, eyes unimpressed, and Asra got the impression that she didn’t need him to kill anyone for her.

He clears his throat and asks, “Who are we looking for?”

“My child.” Asra’s heart felt like it was swelling into his throat. These were always the worst.

The kids were usually the dead ones.

Asra nods, taking a long, deep breath, “Alright. I brought a couple of things for you to fill out - can you give me your name?”

Her eyes flit over to the waitstaff, who still refused to take their order just yet. Her tongue darts out to wet her lips, and her name slips out in a hushed whisper, like it could really be such a big secret. He supposed it could, though, depending on how much shit she was in.

“Nasrin.” It almost pains her to say it, but Asra tries to remain level, setting the papers in front of her.

He would make this work. For her.

I FINALLY GOT SKYRIM MARRIED

i have a BEAUTIFUL WIFE

...who i went through a lot of shit for. this is. a lot of exposition, bear with me :’) im very invested in my character’s personal story here

so astrid had a very important special job for me and sent me to markarth to speak with the client directly

it turned out to be the apothecary’s assistant, who i was passingly familiar with already, so i imagine it was a bit of a surprise to both of us, but she got right to the point - a man broke her heart and ruined her life, used her to hurt the people close to her, abandoned her to go become a bandit, now she wants him dead

u can probably imagine where this is going,

this is the first time ive had a dark brotherhood job i was legitimately PSYCHED to carry out, you BET ill go fuck this guy up for you id do this for free

however, she also had... another request, one that wasn’t required, but something she really, really wanted

see she was very close with/practically another daughter to the shatter-shields in windhelm, the wealthy family who recently lost a daughter to the windhelm butcher

alain had manipulated her and used her to get to the shatter-shields, i dont remember if he stole from them or what happened there, but whatever it was, the shatter-shields blamed muiri for this and disowned her, throwing her out onto the streets with nothing

so she was used and had her heart broken by a man she loved, then was told it was Her Fault, and lost her home and her friends/the closest thing to family she had all at once, and was so hurt and desperate she turned to the dark brotherhood to get revenge on them all

she wanted me to kill nilsine too, the shatter-shields’ other daughter

SO we have this really complicated situation where, on the one hand, she wants alain dead for using her and ruining her life and hurting her friends, and like, he’s a bandit leader now, so he’s someone i probably would’ve easily killed off anyway, by “this is a video game not real life”/skyrim standards that’s a no brainer, i have no moral conflict with that and can’t wait to slash this guy’s head off

but on the other hand she’s so broken she wants a woman who used to be her best friend/practically her sister dead too. i dont know what nilsine’s role in this was specifically but these people were essentially her family, and they victim blamed her when she needed their support the most and threw her out with nothing and nowhere to go

and i had already done quests with the shatter-shields before this, so like, i know them too, and they’re sort of friends to me, i helped solve the mystery of their other daughter’s murder and now I’m being asked to kill the other. not to mention everyone’s going to think the butcher’s back/there’s a copycat killer/something and it’s gonna cause a panic again (even if the game doesn’t acknowledge that/directly show that happening, y’know) 

killing someone’s daughter when they’re still in mourning over the first, when they’ve come to trust you, when you’re the one who helped them gain closure over that first death already, is just. a stone cold thing to do

especially looking at it from my character’s perspective, she’d be especially torn on this because she’s a mother herself, but her children are girls she rescued from the streets - lucia was thrown away by her family, sofie was a victim of tragedy and was let down by the people in authority who should have protected and helped her

so medea would relate to tova as a mother and a friend but also relate powerfully with muiri as a victim in this

ultimately i don’t think there’s any real justification to kill nilsine here, i dont think you can really morally defend that, but. i was so drawn to muiri and wanted so badly to give her a shot at a better life and help her heal from all this, and knew she would become a marriage option if i did it bc id seen her name on the marriage options list before, her story fits in so well with medea’s, and like, i dont imagine im gonna have a lot of options for wives who would Know about my connection to the dark brotherhood/the things ive done and be okay with it, so if i went with her, there wouldn’t be a “keeping this horrible secret from my wife” aspect to deal with even though the game probably doesn’t acknowledge it if you do (i mean im still. keeping it from my kids, but. y’know. when they’re older)

and “talk this out with her and help her see how badly her mind’s been warped by the pain she’s been through” isn’t an option given to you, so

in the end i went through with it. killing alain was easy, just like any other bandit camp raid, but to get at nilsine without being caught, i had to sneak into their house when the family was asleep

which i expected would involve a lot of careful sneaking and laborious lock picking

until i realized i could just walk right in

because the door was already unlocked for me. because they consider me a friend and allow me into their home

and that somehow made it so much worse

i killed nilsine with an arrow, nobody heard a thing, and i ran for it before anyone saw me in there or realized what had happened

muiri gave me a special ring as a “symbol of her affection” for doing this, which i think is about the biggest sign i coulda hoped for lmao

i held off on considering marriage for the time though and finally decided i had to go back to windhelm to see if there was anything i could do to make amends to the shatter-shields even though they shouldn’t know it was me/make sure i didnt get seen by a guard without realizing it or something (though it wouldn’t probably matter anyway, guards saw me leave the orphanage immediately after grelod’s death and shrugged that off, so,)

my name’s still clear in windhelm, but...

tova committed suicide after she discovered what happened

she couldn’t cope with losing another daughter

so now the father is the only one left, coping with. the death of his entire family occurring within like a couple months

i didnt see what happened here i came back later so i dont know if this is something you can possibly stop or if its possible to witness the moment they find nilsine or tova’s suicide or if this just Inevitably happens whenever you come back

i feel terrible about this but theres. not really any going back now,

so. i went back to muiri

i dont know if this is what everyone says or not but her response was just. “i mean, yeah, why wouldn’t I be” i love her lmao

i wouldnt choose to get married in riften if it was up to me but thats how it be in skyrim i guess

my babies are here!!!! what!!!!

and a. random guy i dont recognize lmao :’)

just wandered in to see what was going on i guess. or maybe we’re friends and i forgot who he is entirely which would be kind of sad :’ )

maybe it was my long lost father... slipped out before i ever had the chance to realize it

however i actually. ended up doing this scene twice because, fun fact, there’s a glitch where if you don’t manage to catch up to your spouse to talk about where to live before they leave the chapel they can just fucking Disappear sometimes, :’  ) i couldnt find her anywhere after the wedding and finally looked it up and apparently she just fell into the void so i had to reload and run it again. we’re double married now

planned better this time and dressed better but anyway that elf guy didn’t appear this time but some other guy did, who i ALSO cant quite identify, he looks. maybe. kind of like lucas valerian? who is actually a friend to me and was one of the first friends i made so it’d decently make sense for him to come to my wedding, but weird if he came and camilla didn’t, and im not even sure thats him anyway, so i dont know what happened here all around

muiri’s mentor lady came too though which was sweet

im spinning this kind of as... like, medea was so drawn to her and felt so strongly for her she couldn’t bring herself to disappoint her and this was an eye opener for them both as a kind of. “look what kind of people we’ve let ourselves become” and their marriage as a new beginning, love coming from a place of desperation and darkness, starting over and hoping that the divines will forgive what they’ve done

medea’s not leaving the brotherhood but i mmmmmight try to be a little more careful about who i kill

i had intended for her to come live with me in markarth, she’s in on my. assassin life so having kind of this Other Side to my life made sense but... she met my kids at the wedding i guess and she wanted to live with them... which is really cute,

it feels really weird having this huge fancy house all to myself (and uh. argis, i guess) in markarth and having my wife and kids (and lydia, and a fox) all squished into the honestly kinda run-down whiterun house though i think im gonna work on getting the solitude house for them bc its. safer there than in markarth i feel like and ive heard thats like the fanciest/biggest house

she also sells things now but i feel bad accepting it when she gives me “my share” of the profit like.... babe thats your money i have so much adventuring money and i didnt do shit to help earn that,

i buy things from her sometimes but i refuse to sell her stuff bc i dont want to take any more of her money :’ )

even tho it. doesnt really matter, its video games, i know, but

found lucia, the fox, and muiri all on the bed at once

lydia was just standing like this for a rly long time after muiri moved in i guess she was suspicious but chilled out eventually :’)

i just realized if we move to solitude lydia’s gonna get left behind though :(

i mean ill still come visit her but. upsetting

my one issue is that muiri still keeps saying “thank you for solving my-....problem.” every time i come in speaking distance of her which is. weird given that its the same line she had before we were married, like, she apparently doesnt get any new things to say, and is Really repetitive (imagine living in a small space with your partner and they say the same sentence with the same intonation every time you step within like 2 feet of them. how long til that gets old, do you think, ) and also its just like??? girl let that go we gotta stop dwelling on this or the kids are gonna start questioning what apparently massively important problem mommy solved

idk why she was laying on the floor but anyway my kids have started calling her “mama” now too and im not crying or anything
