i think it's totally possible for anyone to embody his essence. you can even manage to rock something directly inspired by columbo without looking like you're cosplaying.

hair

if you have columbo's hair type, it's actually pretty easy to emulate his styles. i even know people who show pictures of columbo to hair stylists to get his look. my partner's hair in its natural state is very similar to columbo's--dark, wavy, tending to grow in spite of gravity rather than with it. whenever he gets his hair cut, he shows the stylist photos of late 60s/pilot episode peter falk, whose look is actually pretty on-trend for the current era. it works out pretty well.

your swag may have aged well pilot columbo but you can't beat floof

failing that, getting any haircut that is natural, low-maintenance, and not too attention-grabbing captures the visual language all the same. for reference, natasha lyonne in poker face has her hair in natural-looking, messy waves that to me just exude columbo.

how you present yourself to the world is up to you, but if you want to invoke columbo, there's a lot more you can do than buy a tan raincoat.

in an era of sharply-cut, wide-lapelled constructions, fat tie tuesdays, and gucci loafers, columbo stands out as classic comfort personified.

his collar, tie, and lapels are slim, proportional, and unassuming; they'd look good in almost any era. his pants fit closely to his leg but not too wide or slim, and sit at or near the natural waist. though his suits, shirts, ties, shoes, socks, and even coats rotate, there is a consistent color palette keeping him "on model". he embraces earth tones: creams, forest greens, light browns, dark browns, stony grays, rusts, and roses. his clothing seems like an afterthought, but it's an extension of his personality--rumpled and unassuming at first, yet sharp and deliberate upon further inspection.

amid the 1970s explosion of synthetic popularity, it says something that every stitch of textile on columbo's person is natural (aside from the raincoat, which is probably nylon or poly--he wears it without a lining and uses it as essentially an oversized windbreaker). his boots are leather with crepe latex soles; his tie is silk. his shirt is cotton, a bit boxy but comfortable and properly fitted. because the construction of his suits is roomy and unstructured, and because they're made of linen, they wrinkle easily.

this is easily confused for appearing slovenly. actually, all things considered, his clothes fit him pretty damn well, it's just hard to avoid wrinkling natural fibers like linen and cotton, especially in hot weather. he's running around los angeles sweating up a storm, the man needs loose, breathable fabric.

point is, columbo dresses very thoughtfully. since these clothes are workwear for him and he works a hell of a lot, it's imperative that he factors in the weather, his comfort, and proper fit when picking clothes. he wants to like and be comfortable in them while looking unassuming. so even though he sometimes ends up looking like an unmade bed, his choices are deliberate.

you could invoke these principles in your own appearance by picking earthy colors/jewel tones and comfortable, natural fabrics that you enjoy wearing, which has the added benefit of being better for you and the environment. consider also taking a few garments in to be altered. it's usually not that expensive, supports your local needlefolk, and makes even cheap clothes fit great.

as a last little aside, i think having a "signature" clothing item akin to columbo's raincoat would be a nice touch. a jacket, a pair of shoes, even a watch or necklace. something you always wear. if you really do want a raincoat like his, just make sure you're not buying a trench coat, because, repeat after me: columbo does not wear a trench coat.

the last time you saw your best friend—monji—was the day you noticed his anxious and nervous face for the first time after encountering his senior then he urgently needed to take you home.

“why do you seem so anxious?” you asked that day.

he shook his head. “we need to take you home first.” he replied hurriedly.

you confused. until today. so you decided to go to his school then you both can walk together and talk about the other day.

having just finished your shift at the cafe, you opted for your daily clothes over your school uniform, considering it might look suspicious at a boys-only school like housen.

as you approached the front gate, a mere 100 meters away, loud thuds echoed from the crossroads. your curiosity drove you closer, revealing a chaotic scene with about twenty guys engaged in physical altercations. a gasp escaped your mouth as you witnessed monji, the reason for your visit, lying on the ground, attempting to fend off the attacks. your feet froze, body stiffened, and your eyes were almost fell from its place. this was the first time you witnessed something so chaotic that made your head stop working.

“who are you?” someone yelled beside you, catching you off guard as he dragged you away from the scene. he walked far enough then stopped near a store with a bunch of people around. “who are you?” he asked again.

you tried to regain your consciousness back, barely blinking your teary eyes. “huh?” you look at the bowl-headed guy in front of you.

“wait.” he said before running to the store to buy you a water to calm down.

“thank you.” you accept his kindness and drank it as much as you could.

“i-i came to see monji.” you started. he frowned. “monji? are you his girlfriend?” he asked.

you shook your head immediately. “no—i'm not. i'm just a friend—”

“hmm,” you heard him humming. his forehead frowned again as he thought. “how could he have a girlfriend but having a girl pick him up? is he that popular among the girls?” he murmured.

what does he mean? monji have a girlfriend?

“what do you mean?” you asked. he shook his head. “nothing. and don't worry. he will be okay, you don't need to shocked like that. trust me.”

ah, the fight! you almost forgot about the fight. you scanned his appearance from up to the bottom. he was wearing housen's uniform.

“are you from housen too?”

he nodded. “yes. so you can trust me that everyone will be okay.”

“how can someone be okay after having a wooden stick on their head? should i call an ambulance? or police?”

he scratched his head and smiled awkwardly. “they'll be okay.”

and just like that, you waited for the next ten minutes with him while having small talks about everything around you. he was quite nice, you thought. he even introduce himself and now you knew his name was sabakan. he tried his best to distract you from the fight.

“let's go.” he said after answering a call.

“is it okay?”

he nodded and walked in front of you.

as you take a right turn, you could saw a bunch of guy wearing housen's uniforms sitting on the road. you couldn't help but biting your nails to channelled your anxiety and and secretly hoped to meet monji in a proper condition.

“is everyone okay?” sabakan asked his friends and you still behind his back. they answered in unison like a war troop answering its superior.

“where were you? you promised to assist me today!” a familiar voice exclaimed. you knew for sure the owner of that voice.

“you better not yell like that…” sabakan murmured.

“what—” monji's voice were gone when sabakan step aside, revealing you who were there the whole time.

you squeezed the strap of your crossbody tightly and looked up slowly to meet monji's eyes. everyone was shock, but no one match monji's shock.

he got up immediately and approached you in a blink. “why are you here? are you okay? who brought you? how…” his hands stopped checking your condition as his eyes meet your own. you didn't know why it got teary again and you need to bit your inner lip to held your cry and anger.

his thumb caress your left cheek before he turned around and ask for leave to his senior.

“see… this is what would happen if you don't tell your girl your plan for the day…” you could see a blond with glasses guy speak to his underlings. he was mocking monji and tried to hold his laughter, you knew that.

“shut up, odajima.” a big guy—who looks at you with a concern look—replied.

“let's go.” monji said after got his permission. he grabbed your wrist and take you to a more conducive place to talk.

“have you eaten yet?” he asked. you shook your head then he made you both entering a ramen shop.

you didn't open your mouth a bit after you sit and busy holding your teary to fall from your eyes seeing him so messed up like this. monji also busy with his own thought on how to tell you what was going on.

“here's your ramen.” a server approaching your table. “do you have a first aid kit?” you asked. he nodded and gave you a box behind the cashier shelf.

“i'm fine.” monji voiced when you wet the cotton. you weren't respond his words and started cleaning the wound.

he hissed occasionally but not avoiding you. the guilt already ate his guts alive and all he could do was obey you.

“i was just want to go home with you since my shift ended early.” you say while tidy up the aid kit. “i don't know—i'm just so shocked but luckily sabakan helped me.”

monji nod his head and he started to sip his ramen broth to warm his chest since your gaze was too cold than usual.

“and he confused why am i there to pick you up when you already have a girlfriend?” you added as you take mouthful of your ramen.

monji choked himself and coughed for an entire minute. “he say what?”

you shrugged. “but now i know why people find your school interesting. why are you enter that school in the first place?”

monji's gaze was back to his bowl.

“i don't see the point of the fights and i know you know that it's dangerous even though you can face it. but still, why?” you continue your rambles.

“i just not expecting you chose this path, you know? i'm not trying to complain about your decision, i'm just… what should i call it? worry…?”

he took a glance at you. your eyes reddens but you tried to sip your ramen like nothing happened. he knew you tried your best to act cool.

“thank you.” he said. “this is why i forbid you to go to housen.” you sigh.

“but you are really okay, right?” he asked. you nodded.

“i'm sorry for making you worried.” he continue before finished his ramen. “we're cool, right?”

you glance sharply at him for a few second then nod unheartedly.

monji sighed silently and felt a limp on his throat before he say, “don't be afraid of me.”

you looked up and stared at him this time. “i won't.”

a small smile appeared on his lips as his finger still rubbed against each other, nervous. so you decided to change the topic.

“by the way, how could you have a girlfriend and didn't tell me?”

“i-i don't!” he exclaimed. “uh, let's not talk about it for now—”

“why?”

“just not now. it's a long story. all i can say now is i don't have one, it's just a misunderstanding, okay?”

you narrowed your eyes. “don't make me call sabakan and we'll have him in this conversation…”

“argh…” he groaned and messed his hair out of frustation.

Completely self-indulgent headcanons of soft domestic Sugimoto Saichi

I was just thinking "i think he'd be really nice and warm to cuddle" and then i ended up coming up w an entire list of headcanons so take them

Sugimoto would let you borrow his clothes anytime. Literally just ask.

He's confused about it the first time like "are all your clothes dirty or something ?"

but if you ask enough it just becomes routine where he offers his coat and scarf to you when he's not wearing it

And if you keep saying yes each time, he just tosses his coat and scarf at you every time he changes. Like absentmindedly

Literally you'd be doing your own thing and you'd get pelted by it

Youre not complaining though

He starts to find your scent comforting too, but he cant borrow your clothes because they absolutely will not fit him as comfortably as they fit you, but he still likes to hold your sweater / jacket when youre not around

Also whenever you cook he'll always savour it, even if you don't think it's that good it'll still always put a smile on his face

But if anything he actually prefers to cook with you

He tries to learn all your favourite dishes and wants to make them with you

And of course you will end up eating his cooking too

Something something food tastes better when you share it with your loved ones

Sometimes when he cooks for / with you, you have no clue what youre about to put in your mouth

Cause he eventually started to mix recipes he learned from Asirpa with other recipes from around japan, and then started dabbling in cuisine across the world.

Half the time you dont even know what it is, just that it tastes good

Also if you fall asleep anywhere thats not a bed you will always ALWAYS without fail wake up on a bed comfortably under a blanket.

And if you have any favourite stuffed animals, guess what you'll be waking up to beside you

Sugimoto never brings it up, he's always just like "you seemed tired, did you rest well ?" as if you magically teleported to the bed yourself

he is very warm, after all the time he's spent in Hokkaido winters he's like a personal heater. Youll never be cold again

and if somehow youre still cold, he'll cuddle you under a blanket till youve warmed up.

But sometimes he gets so cozy holding you close that he just. Falls asleep.

But the heater (sugimoto) is getting too warm.

But he looks so comfortable and you wouldnt wanna move and wake him up, would you ?

So you just awkwardly kick the blanket off of you in hopes that youll cool down a little

This is a routine occurrence

Also sometimes he starfishes when he sleeps but literally you do not care even if it takes up the whole bed because it means ! Time for him to be a pillow !

he's always very careful not to cross your boundaries, to the point where you have to remind him that he doesnt have to be so tense.

He just wants to make sure youre always comfortable around him

he will always ALWAYS stand up for you

Whether he's standing up against a person or proving your own bad thoughts wrong

He really cares about you and wants to do anything in his power to make sure you're alright

I cannot stress enough how selfless this man is. Like it worries you sometimes, he'll always check in on you and make sure youre comfortable and fed and alright, and you always ask the same questions in return

And if hes ever not taking proper care of himself ? You always make sure to remind and help him with that

Sometimes he causally says a really concerning thing that happened in the past and you have to ask if he's okay

He's always really grateful of how much you care about him

Sugimoto doesnt always know what to say when you vent to him, but he's a good listener and will do whatever you ask to help you feel better

whether its cradling you in his arms, getting you tissues or water, or taking you somewhere quiet. he really cares and just wants to help

he'll always comfort you regarding your fears, whether its something big like fear of death or something smaller like a fear of bugs

he'll always try and support you when something scares or upsets you

and yes if you are socially anxious he will order things for you dont worry

Also, sometimes you wake up in the middle of the night to him twitching or talking in his sleep

You grew quite accustomed to being able to tell if its a normal dream or a nightmare

But if he's having a nightmare, youd know to wake him up, and youd always comfort and hold him till he manages to fall asleep again

Also sometimes you would cup his cheeks in your palms and admire him, but it took you by surprise the first time he did it back !

He found your flustered reaction cute and proceeded to continue doing it sometimes

Nose kisses ! Forehead kisses ! Cheek kisses !

Oh and he absolutely cannot help you with your homework but he provides moral support and is consistently in awe by how much you know, even if you dont feel like your knowledge is anything special

You also buy him hair conditioner.

Now his hair is soft and smells good.

He does not understand why youre obsessed with his hair after the conditioner until he makes you try it and now you are both obsessed with each others hair. Good work

It starts simple with music. Virgil comes over to hang out or they go out and Remus is like "oh I love this song" and Virgil listens to it and finds out he likes it too. And he wants to know more. He's Virgil. Good is a very subjective term.

Remus doesn't force him into any of it btw he literally just. not even offers half of it. Virgil takes initiative so much more than he thinks. The only thing Remus does is like "this is a sin" "if we don't sin, he died for nothing. Let's make it worth it for him". Virgil still kisses him first.

Picture poor sweet Beige Parents when Virgil moves out and comes back for a proper visit like a year later (bro def. kept his distance while figuring himself out) and he's just. not what he looked like when he left. As I stated in the last post, I think he would be into a very well mannered woman who carries alot of self respect. I don't get the vibe that he would be into looks too much, maybe like 40% appearance and 60% personality. I can see him being into types that are simple, and elegant types that wear little makeup, maybe has some or very little surgical alterations (i dont think he really cares too much about that, but i dont think he'd be into the ones that over do it and do alot to completely change their whole entire look). The people that come close to mind would be like Jisoo, IU, Rose (with natural colored hair) etc. Now, this is my own opinion, but i do see him being the type to more than likely go with a Korean woman, which is why i listed those three above as examples. If he does go with a foreigner, I feel like it would be an American woman but someone he already knew from his childhood or like an Asian American. Idk why, i just get that vibe.

Again, as I stated in the last post, Sunghoon would (like Jay) want a very well mannered, proper type of gal. I think he would be 50/50 on looks/personality. I heard he listed Irene as his ideal type, which tells me he likes the type that fits majority, if not all, of the korean beauty standards. IMO, i feel like he'd would only go with a korean woman, and wouldn't be open to date foreigners, merely out of comfort and preference. he comes off as the type that would be very traditional and i just get this feeling he'd be into a an Irene look alike (not to be confused with an ulzzang or 얼짱) like a nice girl that is simplistic and doesn't wear too much makeup, wears nice clothes, and is very easy going. I feel like he cares alot about what his parents think, and that may influence his preference and standards. Considering how immensely supportive they were in his figure skating days, I feel like he has a strong bond with them and like most Asian men, they love their mothers very much and sometimes will tend to go with a woman if she has gained their mother's approval (not saying it's right but it is a thing people...) I can see Sunghoon (not necessarily being the type to rely solely on his parents approval) but i can see him being the type to really be attracted or want someone who is presentable and he feels comfortable to bring to his family. So with Heeseung, i can see him being the type to date foreigners, but if it came to settling down in a very serious relationship (like marriage) i get this vibe that he'd most likely marry a korean woman. there is a sliver string of my gut instinct that thinks he'd consider or would marry a foreigner, but he'd be selective on the type of foreigner mainly because of the language barrier. basically, if she speaks english with some korean or is fluent, i think he'd be willing to make that work. Idk why, but again, most asian men love their mothers so much, and i feel like if there was a girl that had some minor attribute that reminded him of his mother (one that makes him nostalgic) like the sound of her voice when she says certain words, or the color of her hair, or the way she smiles, i feel like he really would cherish that since we know how much he loves his mother.

i feel like that heeseung wouldn't really care about looks so much. idk why, i just get this vibe that he might have preferences and some standards but it's pretty flexible. in fact, i actually see him as the type that eludes the 'less is good' aspect. so less makeup, less flashy clothes and jewelry, and i dont think he'd really care about plastic surgery but to be honest, i feel like he'd be the type to really appreciate a woman who is comfortable in her own skin and maybe only had some minor surgeries (like the common ones that they do with their eyes and nose, considering he himself has had some work done. lets be honest now) for some reason, i get this vibe that he'd be into an older girl, likes someone who is mature and carries a sense of classiness and sophistication that only comes with age (IU comes to mind alot whenever i think about this, like her personality).

I also think he'd like pale skin, but also would like a nice olive, tan complexion, and likes a girl with natural hair colors that compliments said complexion. i really do. and if they have a good personality, that pretty much seals the deal for him. someone who maybe looks like IU, Jisoo, Yuna, or even Danielle from new jeans (i know she's a minor, i'm not implicating anything, i'm just using her features as an example) fresh faced, and elegant type of beauty. as for foreigners, I could see him finding someone like Barbara Palvin, Kendall Jenner, Catriona Gray or Kaia Gerber (idk why but i get this vibe that he likes the mature and almost sexy type looks when it comes to foreigners) I feel like (again...imo) i feel like he has a soft spot for Filipina women because...well...Philippines is one of the top three countries that heavily supports kpop, has one of the largest fanbases for kpop, and he has alot of fans from there so i just think..yeah...he has a soft spot for them. if you're Filipina and carry some traits of Catriona Gray (whether its the hair, skin complexion, style, or the bold lips).....yeah...that's a done deal.

Jake:

I feel like Jake and HS are similar in their taste in women. And i also see him preferring korean women out of comfort, but if he met an english speaking woman that carried some or all of the attributes he likes, then he would be down (just like HS). I feel like he and HS are very very similar when it comes to their preferences and ideal types, so it's almost the same, and i also think he might be more attracted to an older girl, but if he met a young girl that carries the personality traits he likes (like that sophisticated and classy attitude) then he would eat that up. Idk why but when it comes to the legal line in enhypen, i see them liking the very mature types. I feel like Rose (looks wise) and Danielle (again, looks wise) are the types he is fond of, but i also think he has a wide variety when it comes to his preferences with foreign women. because so many foreign women are drop dead gorgeous (and i mean like...all over, every country has the most beautiful women i swear) i think the aspect of seeing a woman who is, again, comfortable in her own skin and hasn't had alot of surgiers (no slander against koreans but south korea is the plastic surgery capital of the world and it is very common over there) i feel like the members really find it refreshing when they see a woman who only enhances her looks with some simple makeup (and from what i've seen in all of the fans during these fansigns and fancalls....there are alot of beautiful girls out there, i dont know how these guys keep their cool...no wonder they get so flirtatious).

Like HS, he likes the simplistic types (no heavy makeup, no flashy or costumey looks, etc) as much as people love the ulzzang look, like karina, i really dont think the guys would be into that bc lets face it, those ulzzangs (while beautiful) have lots of makeup, filtering, and surgeries to achieve that look. again, less/simple = good. for the members, i feel like they prefer a simplistic and simple, elegant type of beauty and if you do wear makeup, wear flashy clothes, or get surgery, less is good. (in my opinion that's the vibe i get).

Jungwon:

I feel like Danielle (i know i used her for the third time now) but i feel like her image and features fits JW's type, also IU's visuals. I get this vibe he is more into Korean women, so that's why I feel like he'd be either into a full korean or maybe a half korean like Danielle or Somi before she dyed her hair and adapted the very bold makeup look. I personally think of him being very into the type that are (again) less is good, so simple makeup looks, loose jeans or sweat pants with hoodies and butterfly hair clips that pins your long hair on the back. I kind of get this vibe he's similar to Sunghoon in regards to splitting the personality and visual appearance down the middle, holding them both equal in value.

Sunoo:

So Sunoo is the only one where i don't get any vibes that he really cares too much about looks. If you look presentable, have some sense in fashion and have wide eyes, and an awesome personality, i feel like he'd be into you. if you're smart, know how to take care of yourself and can take care of him, if you're both a giver and taker, and know how to give back and remind him to take, i feel like he'd be really into that. Sunoo gives me humble vibes, i feel like he is a very humble person and would really like someone who is just the same, very humble and kind....super kind.

Niki:

Since this is SFW content, i'm going to include Niki. I get this vibe that Niki can find two appeals attractive. one being the cute appeal, if you have the very youthful and cute, soft look and appeal, he'll like that. but if you also have the very mature, sexy and fierce look, i think he'd like that too. the thing that will seal the deal is the personality, if you're personality is not to his liking, he wouldn't even entertain the idea of bonding. I personally get this feeling he's a little bit (just a tad bit) more into the cutesy appeal. I dont have any examples of real people to use for Niki since i dont really put too much thought into him (for obvious reasons) but i will say that I can see him being heavily reliant on looks because he is at the age where young men are starstruck by visuals, and i do think since he has fame (and ever since i've known about enhypen, he seems to be the most popular of the group...there's something about the youngest in each group that gets people fanatic about them) i think he is cocky (not in a bad way) and is obviously not at all serious about anything other than his career (which is understandable since he is still so young.)

Random things im thinking about for Lucky Charms + Lucky64

Charms sometimes wonders if they should of gotten a job at a roller rink instead of an arcade

There have been a few nights were gwimbly and charms have just gotten in the car in the middle of the night to just drive around, they eventually fall asleep wherever they parked

If they ever went hiking gwimbly would probably get carried majority of the way back to the car

Anytime someone she/her's charms gwimbly gets really defensive. Charms minds but knows not everyone knows their preferences. Its really embarrassing trying to keep gwimbly from going ape shit on some poor old lady whos just being nice

Gwimbly will mix up his compliments to keep it fresh, it'll go from beautiful to handsome to gorgeous and it's just a never ending cycle

Charms gets colder a lot easier than gwimbly, he often feels bad for not having a jacket to give them and even if he did his clothing sizes are a tad too small for charms to comfortably wear. So he just uses himself as a warmth since he's like a game console that heats up way too much.

If charms ever gets too stressed they think about starting smoking again but gwimbly is often their reason they dont, even when hes not around.

Gwimbly once got stuck in one of those large claw machines at charms' work. They're still trying to figure out how he even got in there since the prize shute is an automatic mini roller door.

Lucky Charms' tourettes are in their neck and shoulder muscles mostly making their head jerk to the side uncomfortably. This often leads to headaches and neck pains. However it also affects their knees and hands/wrists on occasion too

Their tourettes flare up the most when stressed or whenever someone starts talking about them, or if charms thinks about them too much. Like any tourettes they have their waxing waning phases.

Both gwimbly and charms swear someday they're gonna take the game company to court to get their proper share of money. Charms is desperate for that music revenue

I need to kill myself at this point because I'm never going to get better in any way shape or form. I cant eat healthy because I get fucking weird about it. And I'd be okay with it because frankly I don't care if I make myself sick but at the same time I'm scared I'll die at 40 from heart failure because starvation kills your organs and your heart. But I'd not eat healthy in the first place so would it even matter. I hate that I can't say that I wish I was skinny because that means I'm scum of the earth bc i hate fat people even though I dont I just hate myself and everything to do with me because I'll never be enough for myself because I have crippling dysmorphia that makes me want to kill myself. I can'tlook at myself in the mirror i cant look at photos of myself because i hate my body so bad but i cant change it because i keep fucking eating i need to stop fucking eating i need to start counting calories again if i ever want to be skinny and get surgey god its such a long way to go to be skinny i wish i was underweight i wish i hhadnt gained 25kilos over the span of 3 years i need to kill myself because its all my fault its my fault i cant eat or work out properly or be healthy about it because im too depressed to cook for myself and im addicted to sugar and i have no energy or motivation to do things ever. What is the fashion in the world like? What kind of things do the ROs wear?

hm 🤔 the fashion in vestria is pretty diverse and some places have a more unique style then others. but for the most part, the clothing ranges from rococo to victorian (steampunkish, yknow?), but there are also medieval/fantasy knights still walking around, so... it's very extensive!!

as to what the ROs specially wear, i answered that a bit already in the ask about their physical appearance, but i dont mind going deeper into their fashion style and what it's kinda leaned in on!

Chulainn: they mostly prefer to wear tunics in either red, black or brown. just something comfortable, because they do like to wear some pieces of protection above it. something like a short chainmail or leather armor, since that is just something they are used to. sure, it's not like the full body armor they once wore, but chulainn doesnt care about protecting themselves that much anymore. it's more just for the familiarity. then they would some tight, dark pants, so they can wear proper and sturdy boots above them 🤔they dont really care about looks that much anymore, so they kinda just wear whatever, but it leans more into the medieval style

Lys: obviously they dress nice. like very nice. more into the style of the victorian or rokoko with more loose shirts/tunics, but tightfitting waistcoats or vests with jabot collars. those collars!! are a must!! its just so fancy. sometimes they wear neckties too, but not often. lys likes to keep their frills :(! also wears a matching coat most of the time, at least when they are outside. sometimes they dress a bit eccentric, but hey, they work for the queen and have to represent her as much. i also mentioned in a the other ask, that they wear heeled shoes with spats, so i think you get what i am going for with their fashion

Holly: she wears what lys gave her, so their style in that sense is very similar. but she likes to leave out long coats that lys often wears, since it's actually quite warm were they are located lol! i can see her however rocking a short jacket, that goes to her waist. it would be giving expensive, but a lot more laid back compared to their partner! perhaps her shirt wouldnt be correctly tucked in or her collar was messy, and she def would never wear jabot collars like lys

Elli: well?? he just wears his armor the entire time. think of any silver armor with a violet surcoat above it and a hood around the head in the same color, plus the black fabric across where his face would be. they do not dress in anything else...

Irydion: irydion tends to dress in lighter armor. she would cover any vital parts but compared to elli, leave enough uncovered to be able to move quicker and make less noise. she also likes to wear things with fur, since she hails from the more colder regions. it isn't practical later on when they join the mc on the journey, but they def would wear a cape with either fur around the neck or at the ends. she keeps her clothes simple enough, as she never really cared for fashion! i would say irydion leans also more into the medieval/fantasy style :)

Junius: CHEST. IS. OUT. always!! he does not try to have the decency and cover up, even in the more colder climates irydion summoned him in. he either wears very lose tunics with a big enough v-cut, or just a coat with nothing underneath, only buttoning it up halfway through. pain is beauty, or something along those lines... having to work with what is given, he usually wears colorful capes or scarfs around his neck and pants that go to his waist. would he wear fashion corsets? absolutely. junius is here to SERVE CVNT

OK done the journey there just jotting down some thoughts so I don't forget omw back:

took me abt an hour all in all bc I was keeping track of directions and going at a v leisurely pace (~8mph). could easily do it in 40 mins or less I reckon

moderate hills esp towards the end of the route but nothing too intense, I'm just out of practice cycling. didnt have to stop at any point tho and I reckon after a couple passes I won't even feel them at all. one longish mild downward slope which was fun to go fast on but might be a pain on the way back

generally rly nice route, much easier than I expected. there's a national cycle trail parallel for the vast majority of it which was semi-busy today as its a sunday but I imagine there'll be far less pedestrians at the times I'd be travelling on weekdays + any cyclists would also be commuting so I won't have to slow down as often.

99% paved which suits me. would be fine if there were some rougher sections bc I have a hybrid/touring bike but honestly I dont rly like cycling off road lol

one confusing junction where I had to come off the cycle trail... I think a diversion for road works (?) it's fine bc the road it connects onto is my old bus route so I'm v familiar w it already + there are bike lanes so it's v safe for cyclists. I'm gonna try and skip straight to the cycle trail on the way back tho just bc navigating traffic is a pain sometimes and breaks my flow. looking at the map it seems to pass really close to my work so I'll just follow it and see if my satnav tries to redirect me again

not feeling any muscle tiredness yet but we'll see how the way back goes and how i feel tmr. when I start cycling to work for real I'll just do it 2-3 days a week until I'm confident I can do it daily. itll be weather dependent anyway, today is gorg but it loves to randomly rain here and I don't have the right kind of brakes for bad weather.. also would be great bc my dr wants me exercising an hour a day which isn't feasible w my routine currently but itd tick that box

I dont keep any clothes in her room so I didnt have anything to change into so I took one of her little things girls wear that cover thighs. Skir somethings. One of her shirts, pair of pants and got my shoes on since they were there. Fit good. Kurt (Nightcrawler) and Warren (Angel) looked confused then laughed when I told them what happen. They called them girl clothes.

Why. If clothes are made to cover body why are there girl and boy ones. Why not make both in one. I should do that. It would be a good company.

Me and Jimmy talk a lot. I think he finds it weird having a clone brother but hes nice. I get it I would be freaked too. Haven't told him about how I feel fake compared to him because he doesnt deserve to be sad. He just found out about his powers too so I dont want to make him feel even badder.

Winnie took me out for breakfast. After I told her all the clothes stuff she laughed a bit and said if I feel comfy its okay. I think that makes the most sense. I love Winnie a lot. We held hands while walking back to the X-Mansion after breakfast. Professor Xavier said my lessons with Miss Grey are going good. He said he was proud of me. That felt good. Professor Xavier thinks I cant be completely normal because of how I was bringed up in the facility and he said its okay. I dont really care since I dont think I will talk to many humans anyway. Logan also said he was proud of me and my lessons and he gave me a hug. It felt nice. I call him dad now.

wrt stitches!!! you dont have to get extra! they definitely make stitch jewelry that you can buy for a couple of bucks and generally look better than drawn on. the trouble with drawn on stitches, especially around the neck, is they tend to smear (: so ive had a set of jewelry like this for years (mine were also tnbc sally themed, but from hot topic lol)

25. What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? 

Expansion I would like to see an Ambitions style, more active careers like tattoo artist, daycare (which umm hello sims 4 team no daycare with Growing Together? cowards) firefighters etc. 

Game pack... Something based on the circus/carnivals, visiting a circus, joining it, fortune telling, rides, carnival games and prizes oh my!

Stuff - lol they dont make these anymore, but Kits, large arcade games, so I can make a proper Dave & Busters type space 

25. What expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far? 

I’m not a person who blows through the gameplay features quickly, I like to incorporate it into the Flores legacy so there’s so much I haven’t really gotten into. But so far my favorite is Jungle Adventure, minus the problematic looting of the temples. It’s somewhat representative of my heritage and it’s how Chris met Estella!

2) I'm still Not Normal about Racer but hey let's talk about Spot for a bit.

So when I first stumbled upon the Brooklyn newsies, I didn't actually know who Spot was for like a month. It was only after I decided to tag along with whoever I had been following that day all the way back to wherever the larger group stayed, and I saw everybody (most of which were pretty rambunctious and not willing to back down for anything) give full control and respect to Spot. who was the smallest person in the room.

Seriously why was he so short. I genuinely thought his nickname was because he was short for like a year.

Anyways, I ended up gaining my first street name because guess who was an idiot and stole something from Spot? yeah me. Idk why I thought that was a smart move.

Thankfully Spot noticed that I was a thin and pale child who's voice was weirdly shaky (I had anxiety 👍 (i cannot shake it in any life)) and was NOT wearing proper fall clothes because I was stubborn. Because of this he decided not to bash my head in, especially after learning that I had been giving the newsies some extra cash because I could. He ended up taking me under his wing and taught me some skills and tips in case I'd ever end up on the streets. which you know, I did. technically by my own choice but still.

I think I spent around 3~ years as a member of the brooklyn newsies. I wasn't buying my own papes to sell, but some of the guys got a few extras and handed them off to me, with the agreement that I'd give them half the profits to help cover the extra cost. During this time Spot had a bit of a soft spot for me, first simply because I was an easy source of extra cash, and then later on because I was clearly a kid who needed a bit of freedom and affection from somebody who saw me as Magpie, not Alex.

I never said it to his face, but I always did see Spot as a older sibling figure. He was really nice, and although I couldn't hold my own against a 1v1 fight, but he taught me how to defend myself and to use a weapon in tandem with my parkour skills to maximize my damage to somebody attacking me.

I do remember that some time after the strike, Racer's gambling ring got big enough to warrant a building to hold seminightly hang outs. This was all because after the strike and the rally with all the newsies coming to hear us out, some new friendships were made and Racer got so so many more opportunities to earn money. Anyways, during these meetings, me, Racer, and Spot were seen as the kings of the ring. Spot because he scared literally everybody, Racer because he was the one in charge, and me because Those Two. That's my brother and my could-have-been-boyfriend - Voidling Anon

i dont think im familiar with this source but that sounds so cool!! spot sounds like such a lovely fella :D

i always love older sibling/younger sibling type of relationships, even if theyre not like actually blood related siblings and its just a found family type of thing (actually that almost makes it better sometimes /hj)

also love the ring kings hehe ill doodle yall sometime if you want!
