arthur never officially broke up with mary. mans just Left one day without warning. probably left a note that said "sorry. -arthur" on it. i doubt he had it in him to say goodbye to her face or his reasoning for it (he thought hed inevitably hurt her because of what he is and what he did to the people he loved in the past, because bad luck seems to follow him everywhere... oughh he makes me ill). he definitely used finding a new lead on anya somewhere else in the country as a good reason to dip. at least, as good a reason as it couldve been for him.

maybe controversial but i 100% think arthur and magnus had a one-night stand at the beginning of their relationship, before magnus met jerome, and they never talked about it again and pretend it never happened. cannot explain how real this is to me.

ftm chip who 100% innately knew he was a dude since the moment he could think. like when the black rose pirates picked him up, he got confused when they started referring to him as a girl at first. probably never got The Talk from them, so was Very confused when he hit puberty. Reuben reluctantly helped him steal to pay for top surgery.

since tritons live at the bottom of the ocean, they would have eyes that are far more sensitive to light to allow them to see better since little light gets all the way down there. gillion was Immediately blinded by the sun when he surfaced and still gets headaches from how bright it is in the oversea, but they've gotten better the longer he's been up there. tritons are built to adapt to all kinds of conditions, so his eyes have slowly been getting a darker bluish-purple the longer he spends above the ocean; they were originally more of a light blue-grey.

in tandem with the last one, chip thinks hes either going crazy or a bad friend because he Swears gill's eyecolor is different than last week but how could that be possible, thats not just something he can do, right? why would he be able to do that???

if gillion gets knocked onto his back without warning he does that thing that sharks do where they get paralyzed for a bit when they get flipped upside down. its scary because he can see everything but cant do anything. he also definitely forgot to tell chip and jay about this fact and scared the Shit out of them the first time it happened around them.

gillion can also change his sex like some fish can. its the reason he can lay eggs. i think this makes it safe to say genderfluid/nonbinary/generally trans gillion tidestrider is highly possible and even probable in this headcanon. what im saying is t4t fish n chips.

not to headcanon all my favs as trans but i cant help it. it is the highest honor i can bestow upon them. anyways. mtf jay ferin. ava always knew and was the first person jay came out to. jay was also 100% named jayson after her father and went by jay most of her life anyway as a nickname and just decided to stick with it instead of picking anything else. may was always very openly-supportive of her. jayson was as supportive as a generally strict, overbearing, unsupportive-in-everything father can be. jay totally came out to him and the first thing he said to her was something like, "as long as it doesnt interfere with your navy training," and may promptly kicked him under the table and made him say something nice.

kiras trans too btw. she came out before jay and helped jay discover she was trans. and that she liked women.

(spoilers for 109 and beyond) chip can't entirely remember what he looks like. everytime he focuses on the illusion of hiding that hes practically just a skeleton now, it changes just a bit. freckles in the wrong places, the wrong shade of orange for his flame tattoos, too much light in his eyes, too much muscle on his arms. jay notices it but cant bring herself to say anything. she knows the illusion is meant to keep everyone from worrying, but, everytime she sees something off about it, she just remembers what he really looks like underneath, and that somehow feels worse.

All the posts about my pet headcanon are tagged "#schizophrenic sam winchester." Creative, I know. The occasional solely schizophrenia related posts are tagged "#schizospec education." Queue tag is #hallqueuecinations and oh boy do I have way too much stuff queued. I do tag ships so you can filter them out if you want to, but like... I am a johndean and wincest person. If you really don't want to see that, you should just leave.

I am watching SPN for the first time and am currently on episode S5 E4. Maybe. I do forget to update this number a lot. Don't worry about spoiling me. Trust me, I've already been all over SPN tumblr. And yes, I am already headcanoning Sam as schizophrenic despite having not yet gotten to the part where he actually hallucinates. Pretty early on, I'd seen enough from the fandom to know that Sam was going to give me ~feelings~ as a schizophrenic, but Home was what sold me on it. The way he responds to the vision is exactly like my experience of delusions. It's like having blinders on. You can't think about anything else and you need to figure it all out and fix it right this minute. It's urgent and obsessive in the same way Sam was. His body language, too, was just perfect, down to just what he did with his hands. I look at Sam, especially Sam getting visions, and I see myself. So. Sam Winchester is schizophrenic. Not in some "Sam hallucinated the entire show" way (God I hate those theories) or that none of the supernatural stuff is real. Everything we see is real, but Sam's brain also pulls some shit of its own.

A very important note, given the name of my blog: schizo is a slur. I reclaim it a lot. I was diagnosed by people who want to change the definition of schizophrenia, and so for a long time, I was explicitly told not to call myself schizophrenic. That's bullshit. My symptoms aren't quite traditional, and I am at the more mild end, but as per the current DSM? I'm schizophrenic. But because for a long time I got told "you're schizo-spec, but not schizophrenic," the word I associate myself with more than anything is schizo. I try to actually write out schizophrenic when I'm on this account, but in real life, I usually don't. But if you are not anywhere on the schizophrenia spectrum, you should not say it (unless you're tagging me). I don't want my handle to give anyone the idea that you can go around calling Sam a schizo. I can. You can't.

My purpose isn't directly to educate about schizophrenia, but I know that the general cultural perception of it misses a lot, so just by shouting about how I headcanon Sam as schizophrenic, I will accidentally teach you all things. In light of that, there will be the occasional reblog of not at all SPN related awareness posts, and my asks are always open. You all have my permission to ask rude and personal questions about it that you should not ask strangers. Schizophrenia is basically a special interest of mine at this point. I am very open about stuff, not so much because of desire to educate or what have you but just because part of my schizophrenia is having very little filter. I will say that if you ask me about the delusions I've had, you're going to get an incomplete answer because going into them too much can be triggering. Everything else is on the table, though.

So many kids | Some Belmont Family Tree Headcanon

Alright. Enabled by @udaberriwrites, I finally made the effort to draw down the Belmont family tree from my works! Yes, it is a lot of kids. Because, let's face it. We are still in the middle ages. Folks had a lot of kids - not to mention that with the four folks, there is a lot of chances for kids.

Red lines: Relationships

Green lines: Offspring

The children in orange are dhampirs. Note for this: Based on Alucard's comment in canon that he grew up very fast, I decided that dhampir's are fully grown at age 12. Hence their at times young ages of becoming parents.

Now, I have been kind to myself and this graph, by only always including the main generation and not including adopted children. Also not including the romantic partners within the later generations. Because given the amounts of polyamory going on, it would've gotten out of hand.

So, let's go through it layer by layer.

First Generation:

Trevor, Sypha, Adrian and Greta are in a polyamorous relationship, though it should be noted, that they do not all get together at the same time (because that's not how polyamory works). Also it should be noted, that I headcanon Greta as aromantic-bisexual, which is part of it. She starts sleeping with Sypha in late 1478 and with Trevor in 1482, but does not actually become "part of the family" befor 1485, when she finally gives in and moves into the castle.

Marie Belmont (*1477) is the kid of Trevor and Sypha, that Sypha is pregnant with at the end of the series.

Freng & Ilias (*1480) are twins that Greta has with... an unknown father. Literally, she is not entirely certain, who the father is.

Simon Belmont (*1483) is the child Adrian and Sypha have together. As such, he is a dhampir, too.

Trevor gets turned into a dhampir in 1484.

Anna Belmont (*1485) is technically a child of the trio, with whom they never find out, who the father is, given that both fathers would have a dhampir child by then. (But it is Trevor.)

Sasca Belmont (*1485) is the child Trevor finally has with Greta. She is 4 mounths younger than Anna.

It should be noted, that there are quite a few adopted children, most notably of course Coman and Joia, from For a Brighter Future. But over the years there are quite a few.

Additionally it should be said, that over the next decades, Trevor has five kids with people with mothers other than Greta or Sypha. Again, polyamory + relationship anarchy (+ Trevor now being immortal).

Second Generation

Alright, first thing that should be noted here: Yes, Marie and Ilias later grow up in the same household, from the time they are 8 and 6 years old respectively, but they still later get romantically involved. They never see each other as siblings, though, given that they spent too long seeing each other as just friends.

So, Simon is the first one to successfully procreate, given that, again, he is fully grown by age 12. And you gotta see: He is hot. He knows it. He is very bisexual. And he enthusiastically likes sex.

So, Simon's kids are:

Alba Belmont (*1495) is a girl he has with a lady of 19years (named Jeni) at the time. His parents are in disbelief.

Jander and Milos Belmont (*1496) are twin boys, he has with another teen (Hesta). At this point his parents get angry.

After this he gets sent to be straightened out by his grandfather. Somehow he manages to not procreate while in England.

After that he has Firene Belmont (*1501) with the 25 year old Julia.

And finally Fetia Belmont (*1503) who is indeed also the child of him and Jeni.

At this point he leaves the village and travels together with Anna. There are probably other kids after which as well, given that he follows very much the Jack Harkness rules of consent and usually will just sleep around. But he is not aware of those kids.

Anna is a lesbian. She does not have any kids for now. (Honestly, I do not know whether there will be kids of hers in the future, given that kids with a trans woman would totally be possible.)

Marie and Ilias have four kids together: daughter Marita Belmont (*1501), son Soare Belmont (*1503), son Ursul Belmont (*1506) and daughter Lisa Belmont (*1509).

Now, Freng is a bit like Simon as in that he has multiple partners and really does not settle down at first. His son Kal (*1500) is with a woman named Feltia, his son Mizla (*1504) with a woman called Alba and his daughter Ulla (*1506) with a woman called Buna, who is finally the one he settles down with.

Sasca is the one dhampir kid, who actually has no romantic involvements for quite a while. She ends up in a polycule as well, made up of her, two other women (Cetina and Stefania) and two men (Franke and Csegő). While the polycule ends up with a total of six children, she has two kids herself: Daughter Cneajna Belmont (*1505) and son Lepădat Belmont (*1508). (Also, it should be noted that yes, indeed, just like Simon has the family name Belmont, even though he is not blood related to Trevor, the other four kids of the polycule are also named Belmont.)

Third Generation

Alright. This is obviously getting outa hand by now. Again, this is the middle ages, people had more kids than you would have today. Especially as there is the simple lack of contraception at this point in time.

I am just moving through this from left to right this time around, even though it is not the right order in which kids are born

Alba Belmont becomes a travelling doctor. She never gets a husband, but she at some point has a daughter, Laenesa Belmont (*1510).

Jander Belmont follows the foot-steps of his father of sleeping around a lot. Which leads to the first three kids, the twin girls Meda and Jolta Belmont (*1513) by the mother Elina, and daughter Santiona Belmont (*1514) by the mother Păştina. He finally settles down with a woman named Johanna, though, and has two more kids: Surata Belmont (*1516) and Stephan Belmont (*1520).

While Milos at first seems as chaotic as his twin brother, he calms down, as he is an adult. He travels first and later returns with a pregnant wife Vlădelina, who has son Murgu Belmont (*1517) first and then Lupa Belmont (*1519) two years later.

Firene Belmont is a historian. He lives in the castle and has two husbands: Vesel and Dános. With them she has three kids: Vlad (*1515), Joia (*1517) and Radu Belmont (*1520).

Finally, Fetia has the most cliché life, doing mostly farm work and a bit of engineering. She has a husband (Stefan) and two daughters: Anghel (*1519) and Comana Belmont (*1524).

Alright. Simon's grandkids are done!

Marita Belmont marries a merchant's son, Petros, and they have two kids: Daughter Meda (*1520) and son Petrasco Belmont (*1523).

Now, Soare learns fighting and leaves the village of Belmont as a monster hunter at age 20. If he has any children, nobody knows about them.

While Ursul Belmont is one of those kids, who are super into the idea of fighting as kids, he ends up turning to the sciences (including magic sciences) and marries a woman named Săraca. They have three kids, two boys, one daughter. Vesel (*1528), Oltia (*1530) and Franghis Belmont (*1533).

Lisa Belmont, obviously named after her great-grandmother, is a good tailor. She has a husband (Grozav) and two kids: Bunea (*1532) and Franke Belmont (*1536). It should be noted that technically speaking Bunea is non-binary, though obviously as this is the 1540s by that time... there is no word for that at the point.

Cneajna once again ends up being a monster hunter and for now does not have any kids. She might well be asexual.

Lepădat settles down rather quickly. He is of the mad-scientist kid. Now, for him it is a bit complicated. Because he gets together with Basarab, a man, but given that Basarab is a trans man, they still have kids. Tarsa (*1525), Pyrothea (*1527) and Doda Belmont (1531).

Kal does a lot of travelling and ends up meeting with a young gentry woman, Katheia Lapis, whom he ends up marrying. While he does not end up living in the town of Belmont, he does have two sons: Ciezmir (*1528) and Guarinus Lapis (*1532).

Mizla once again is an off-spring who does not have kids himself. He is an explorer.

And then finally (finally!!!), we have Ulla, who technically also is part of a polycule, but the long and short of it is, that she has two kids with the fathers being either one Coman (no, not adopted kid Coman xD) and one Stefaniat. Those kids being daughter Basina (*1535) and Sulwal (*1539).

Boy, yes. This is a lot of kids and grand kids and great grandkids. And while there obviously will be great great grandkids, I will not bother myself by thinking about them.

but i will provide you with some of my favorite headcannons, though tbh a lot of them are just me kinning too close to the sun via breaking up aspects of myself like pieces of stained glass and pushing/stabbing these pieces into characters

plus size lily is up there too, i've been looking more into this headcannon lately and i just love it. especially because i've seen the idea thrown around that lily firstly had been rejecting james because she thought he was joking and could never actually like her because of her weight and it's tragic and i love it. that may or may not be because someone did the same thing to me years ago

aromantic james potter is one of the few were i'm not taking a piece of myself, i just find it interesting for him (however, i know i'm weird in thinking this since 2 of the most popular ships in this fandom include james). but just the idea that james loves his friends so much and he has such an admiration for lily that it has to be romantic, right? and i mean it's what everyone expects, they're destined to be together. it's what his friends and his parents expect. it's clearly the path he's meant to go on. but he just doesn't feel that way. still he pretends and conforms because what else is there for him to do? so him and lily are stuck in a marriage that doesn't really work because neither of them feel that way for each other (lily's a lesbian and in love with mary), but both of them get along, both of them love harry.

DADDY ISSUES REMUS, i've been ever so subtly throwing this idea out time and again this past week for absolutely no reason at all. but it's like, remus spends a lot of his time trying to control his temper, he tames himself and masks almost constantly because if he fucks up and gets himself into trouble it's going to be terrible for him because of him being a wolf. and so he feels he can't be angry, ever, yet in that he's constantly enraged. at who? everyone, no one, his dad, himself. he feels so much anger towards his dad and there is a shred of guilt in lyall, yes, but still their relationship is like walking on eggshells constantly because they don't know how to talk to each other. they both sort of resent each other. they're both constantly angry. they both see the world in such opposite views, to the point where remus doesn't express his thoughts or feelings or himself as a whole in front of his dad. and i can go on but it's probably getting to be a bit too much in the sad zone by this point

sirius is a really good artist and will sketch their friends in class when he's not paying attention (she's also sketched minnie a few times which his professor is honored by, but she wishes they would focus on the lecture at hand)

Jane Austen Characters That Give Me Some Queer Vibes

This is my personal list and my personal vibes, I am not saying that anyone else is wrong but giving my personal impressions. They are all headcanon. I am very happy to hear your theories and your vibes!

Sir Walter Elliot, Persuasion: Okay, dude totally has a crush on this Colonel Wallis whom he’s been parading around Bath with arm-in-arm. He is most likely pansexual: attracted to anyone who is a 10/10. Unfortunately he sees himself as a 11/10, so maybe not the best partner. 

Emma Woodhouse, Emma: She feels the need to staunchly defend the beauty of Jane Fairfax. Admires the beauty of both Harriet and Jane Fairfax but does not dwell on Mr. Elton or Frank Churchill, whom she does acknowledge are hot. Either she only has eyes for Knightley or she’s actually got some feelings for women. I will also accept some flavour of asexual/aromantic. Emma has vibes of some unspecified sort.

Charlotte Lucas, Pride and Prejudice: She’s on this list because she must be, she doesn’t actually give me queer vibes. I see Charlotte as highly pragmatic. The fact that she doesn’t consider romance doesn’t speak to me of her being a flavour of asexual or aromantic. I think you can account for Charlotte’s behaviour by her being highly loss adverse. This may be because I would probably make the same decision as her and I have extremely high loss aversion and was very anxious to get married as a young person.

Fanny Price, Mansfield Park: I know what you are thinking, don’t I mean Mary Crawford? No. We know exactly why Mary Crawford wants to be friends with Fanny, she’s bored. Fanny is not bored, doesn’t even like Mary, and views her as competition. And yet, Fanny admires her beauty, loves to look at her, and cannot even explain to herself why she keeps visiting (Fanny went to her every two or three days: it seemed a kind of fascination: she could not be easy without going). I can explain, Fanny! (Now do I think Mary Crawford would be down? Absolutely)

Fitzwilliam Darcy, Pride and Prejudice: This guy, he’s got vibes. He’s twenty-eight years old and yet has never really been so attracted to a woman before. He talks about what should attract him to a woman as if it’s a list he’s memorised. I read this very persuasive argument that he’s demisexual and I’m all for it.

Anne Steele, Sense and Sensibility: She is obsessed with Marianne Dashwood. Tracking what clothes she wears, calling her beautiful, wanting to barge in to see her in her bedroom despite rules of propriety. Anne has a very obvious crush on the lovely Marianne.

Edit: I forgot about Tom Bertram, Mansfield Park. What speaks to me there is his inability to read social cues in women, like how he can't tell if they are in or out. He doesn't seem very concerned with love at all and prefers to hang with his male friends. Gay vibes.

I call Cas the Gay Angel a lot but that’s just because I love the fandom joke, and the fact that Jensen called him that.

I actually headcanon Cas as aroace. The asexual part is easy to explain. He doesn’t experience sexual attraction, though he can and does enjoy sex. He probably has no gender preference. Most of the time he doesn’t feel the need to seek out sex, but if someone approached him he’d be open to the idea. I do think he desires sex with Dean, though that would be more of a spiritual experience for Cas. Sex with Dean I think he’d compare to worship or communion or something like that.

The aromantic is a lot more complicated for me to explain because, yes, Cas is aro, but the relationship with Dean that he wants would most likely be labeled as romantic by both Dean and human standards. The reason why involves a linguistics headcanon about Enochian and the various English-Enochian translations of the concepts of love, worship, and desire, which I will explain in a reblog, but the short version is this; Dean has replaced God in Cas’s eyes. This is a particular concept of love that is more of an angel thing than a human thing, but humans who worship God probably feel something similar. Cas doesn’t consciously think of it in the exact terms of “Dean is my God,” but that’s essentially one of the two things that make up Cas’s feelings toward Dean. The other is familial love, the same love Cas feels for Sam and Mary and Jack (though Jack has the extra “he is my son” feelings along with it).

Because of that, Dean is the only person that Cas will ever feel that way about. He is the only person that Cas will love like angels love God. Yes, I am polyamorous and yes I think that people are capable of loving an infinite amount of beings in any way, and that “the one” is a dumb and untrue concept in real life. And maybe Cas could find some semblance of contentment with another person or people, and even enjoy life with them, but I believe that Dean is “the One” for Cas.

“What about Meg?” Cas loves Meg of course, as a friend, and he does care about her. The fact that Cas is positive towards the idea of having sex with her (and they probably would have had sex if Meg hadn’t died), that’s a separate part of feelings. He doesn’t have romantic feelings for her, though he does love her.

You may notice I’m trying to avoid using the label of “platonic” here. Because Cas’s love for his family and friends doesn’t necessarily fit in the label of “platonic.” I think he just… he just loves them. It’s not romantic, and it’s not platonic, though it may be closer to the latter. It’s just love.

In short, Cas is queer af and doesn’t have human society’s preconceived notions about what the different categories of relationships are supposed to look like, and his feelings don’t fit into society’s labels.

Starting with the kids:

Mary: bi because most people in the fandom headcanon her as bi too

Elizabeth: asexual heteromantic. Asexual for the same reason as above. I used to headcanon her as homoromantic because when I first found out she never married I thought “wow so she may have been a lesbian” — then I searched up whether she was a lesbian or not then when I found out about Robert Dudley I got sad — but then I started shipping them so now she’s heteromantic

Edward: gay homosexual homoromantic mlm gay (edit: I’ve also decided on he/they Edward. Edward’s cis but just think those pronouns are cool)

Janey: pan graysexual grayromantic. It’s mostly because of her name

Mezza: I can’t actually decide between Token Straight or aromantic heterosexual... or maybe bisexual or heteromantic or pansexual or homoromantic or panromantic or......... she’s figuring it out (ok this is me from the future editing this post, I’ve decided she is aroace now)

Now onto the queens

Aragon: I searched up “gold pride flag” “orange pride flag” and “yellow pride flag” and I got lesbian, akoisexual/akoiromantic (feeling attraction but not wanting it reciprocated), as well as non-binary, maverique (a gender is not related to manhood or womanhood, but also is not gender neutrality), and pangender (all genders), so now she’s all of those with she/xe pronouns

Boleyn: aromantic because the pride flag is green. Also asexual because why not

Seymour: Token Straight. Sorry but her design is literally the straight flag

Cleves: I searched up “red pride flag” and it showed lesbian (Are you sensing a pattern here? For all of them I just searched up “(color) pride flag”. Don’t know why I based headcanons off vibes for the kids but not for the queens but it probably has something to do with me not being interested in the queens enough)

Howard: searched up “pink pride flag” and got lesbian and demigirl. I love myself a she/they Katherine Howard or however her first name is spelled. Also she’s ace

Parr: “blue pride flag” showed me the trans flag so non-binary they/them Parr

I really wish that bakarina started focusing on narrowing down the harem instead of making it grow. You’d think that after what was probably years of rejection or just waiting, most of them would’ve given up or moved on by now.

I’ve been debating how to respond to this ask for the past few days because, while I mostly agree, I have Thoughts so...

!!!SPOILERS FOR THE SERIES UNTIL VOLUME 8 AHEAD!!!

1) Actually, almost none of Katarina’s harem have probably confessed to her so they can’t really get rejected. Here’s where we’re at at volume 8: Jeord has confessed and Katarina kind of just ignores it and hopes it goes away and Keith has confessed and Katarina keeps on forgetting about that. In volume 8, Nicole accidentally confessed to Katarina because he thought it was a dream and Katarina was so overwhelmed that she passed out and forgot about it lol so she doesn’t remember it. The only other character that I can think of that’s come close to confessing would be Mary when she suggested that they forget about their fiancees and run away together (I believe this was mentioned in volume 2?) and Katarina thought she was joking. They’re all so hopeless but I love them. I actually headcanon Katarina as aromantic at this point because she just seems so disinterested in romance with anyone.

2) While I agree that the writer needs to stop introducing new characters and should focus on developing the ones that have been there since the beginning of the series, I find myself disagreeing with “narrowing down the harem”.  I’ve always wanted the series to just have an open ending where we don’t know who she ends up with. I’m at volume 8 and Katarina hasn’t really shown any romantic interest in anyone so her dating anyone would feel really off to me. I’ve also never really thought of Bakarina as a ‘romance series’. To me, it’s always been about the comedy and the characters rather than who will Katarina end up with.

I haven’t read volume 9 yet and it’s always a possibility that the author will start to do something with the romance there but I personally hope not.

I am a bit touchy as far as writing Lone Ranger is concerned, because while I love it very much and think that this is a story with lots and lots of potential for good, there IS a history of racism as far as the writing is concerned. So basically, I refuse to publish any fics without having somebody look it over first, and that is… A lot more difficult to arrange than I thought.

You are right, there really should be more Lone Ranger fics. Well researched and sensitivity read ones, if possible.

But that said, I can still totally tell you about the way I see the characters!

Basically, John Reid is an idiot. Everybody seems to agree there, even the dreaded 2013 movie got it right. It was about the only thing it did (if you are new, than I’m begging you, don’t watch that **@#*#!!). He’s just kind of stuck living in his own fantasy world where people are nice and want to get along. You know, a lot like Clark Kent, just maybe not quite that bad. Because this is a fairy tale, this doesn’t end in a complete disaster within a week, but the people around him actually play along. Part of this is because he is actually helpful, and also he doesn’t stay long enough and doesn’t talk about himself, so he manages to fool everyone in the short run into thinking that he is a serious person who knows what he’s doing. And he is quite clever, actually, he has got good, original ideas that work, but…

So yeah, John’s an idiot. I really love him, because I relate to him a lot.

Tonto is definitely the most interesting character in the story. For starters, he is the one who we can actually imagine staying alive on his own. He is clever, kind, a good fighter, and knows a lot about medicine and following tracks. And he’s great with children, you can tell from his interactions with Dan. He also ended up living alone in the desert with a borderline insane superhero and their two horses (all superheroes are insane, that’s just a Basic Rule), and we know from the first episode that he had been alone before. My headcanon is that he is literately unable to live in a civilised society. Maybe he has got attachment issues due to his entire tribe being killed in front of his eyes, maybe it’s just the way he is, but he couldn’t function properly in a bigger group.

I also found it incredibly interesting how my own view of Tonto changed over time. I started out as seeing him a bit dark, a bit grumpy (I partly blame the actor voicing him having a very deep voice, and also most of the time not speaking in complete sentences). The more I saw of him, the more I’m convinced that he is the nicest person ever, only really, really introverted. I don’t think that there really are any people apart from the Lone Ranger (and later Dan) he feels safe to open up to.

He obviously loves spending time with John and getting in all kinds of weird shenanigans together. My first impression was actually “that guy is only there for fun”, and I mostly maintain this opinion, only adding that with time, his relationship with John and the fact that they are helping people became very important motivations, too.

I have a lot of thoughts and feeling about Tonto.

Dan Reid, you probably haven’t met yet. I’m not talking about John’s brother, but his son, John’s nephew and Britt Reid’s father. He is a teenage sidekick. He reads therefore like pretty much every teenage sidekick Mary Sue character ever. Not that it’s a bad thing, I quite like Dan and the idea of John and Tonto raising a teenager together. Dan calls them Uncle John and Uncle Tonto, and you will not convince me otherwise. But Dan Reid only really gets interesting as an adult. He is one of the few sidekicks who actually managed to leave the superhero life behind and built himself a successful career. He is definitely the sanest person in the entire Reid family.

And the token straight one, I like to think. I adopted the headcanon that Britt is bi and in a relationship with Kato. John and Tonto, I like to headcanon both as aromantic, because I can, and also a- or bisexual, depending my mood. I also read their relationship as queerplatonic. But everybody thinks that they’re married, because this is a fairy tale and homophobia doesn’t exist.

Something I’d definitely would like to see more about is their relationship and how exactly it works, since it is an intercultural one, and that has got to be interesting. Also how it plays out on Dan’s education, and later, Britt’s. There have to be some Comanche elements that get passed down to him.

John and Tonto also move around in an interesting space between cultures, and since they are The Two Idiots Running Around Telling Everyone To Be Nice To One Another, they have to have a huge knowledge and understanding of them all. This is one of the parts where the source material gets a little problematic, so just assume that it’s a biased retelling of an outsider’s biased view of reality, and things got twisted and rewritten along the way. The Lone Ranger is, in his core, a White Saviour, so yeah, as I said, problematic per definition. I like to think that “in reality”, they are much more careful and respectful. Tonto is responsible for the communication with the First Nations, John for the one with the settlers. They both are fluent in multiple languages, at least Comanche, English, Apache, both Eastern and Western, Spanish, and some others. Among themselves, they use English and Comanche, and randomly switch around between the two.

“Kemo Sabe” (still my headcanon) is totally a made-up term, by one of Tonto’s ancestors. It kind of stuck around as term of endearment. His family has been calling their partners “Kemo Sabe” for generations, and it just felt right for him and John to use it. They both call the other so.

Probably Traci 13 (but I could also see them pushing the Jaime/Traci relationship).

Halo (I mean the rainbows, c’mon) is a lesbian.

Brion is possibly gay.

If asked under a truth serum or something, I think Greg would say Artemis and Conner are bi.

Bart is gay. I don’t ship Bluepulse and IMHO I can’t see it ever being canon, but Bart’s still gay.

M’gann is a pansexual trans woman. Greg’s pretty much confirmed she’s attracted to people regardless of gender, and I’ve talked a lot before on her trans coding.

Raquel is wlw. Maybe I’m projecting, but she’s the only girl on the main team who didn’t kiss a boy on the lips on New Year’s, the boy she kissed just so happened to be definitely-mlm Kaldur, and she got married but the gender of her betrothed is never stated. And that’s gay culture.

IF they were going to make a (human) trans character canon, I think it would be Cissie, but that might be me projecting again.

Greg probably doesn’t know what an agender person is, but if he did, Conner would definitely be one.

Dick, Roy, Wally, Donna, Dinah, Zatanna, Barbara, Garfield, etc. would never be allowed to be queer (though we have slightly more of a chance with WillRoy since technically he isn’t the “real” Roy) even though all of them definitely are.

Do you genuinely think Rita Farr and Marie Logan were together? 

I wasn’t the one who came up with that headcanon but I really like it, and the real-real answer is: If Rita Farr never shows up again we can assume she and Marie dated. If Rita Farr becomes important in the show she will be shown as straight.

What about the villains, like Count Vertigo, Vandal Savage – being over 50,000 years old is bound to introduce you to some new things – and Queen Bee?

Verty and Vandy are so super ridiculously het, but Vandal’s daughter, Scandal, is a lesbian, and I think she’ll appear this season since she’s dated (in the comics) a former fury from Apokolips. I still love my Raquel/Scandal theory tho, and I will never stop gloating if it comes true.

Queen Bee is a homophobe who most of the time forgets she can even use her powers on women, and then when she does, she kills them. But I also do not think she’s asexual and/or aromantic as I’ve seen others headcanon. There’s no need to villainize aro/ace ppl like that.

It’s comics canon that The Brain is gay and Monsieur Mallah is his lover so do with that what you will.

As much as I think he’s a creep, Lex is definitely mlm with a shit ton of internalized homophobia. No piece of official DC media will ever discuss this outright but it’s true.

There are some gay Milestone villains (one specifically coming to mind is a speedster named Blitzen), so keep that in mind if we see any of them.

Killer Frost and Tuppence Terror are probably lesbians and probably have dated.

I don’t want to see a trans villain. It would feel like such a slap in the face. I think maybe they could do an LGB villain okay, but I have 0 faith in a cis person writing a trans villain and not being offensive about it.

Was it when another boy (intended as a joke, but JOKE’S ON HIM!) asked me out on a date, and was dumbfounded when I politely turned him down, saying, no, I’m not interested in dating?

Was it when I explained that I was not interested in either boys or girls to yet another boy and he asked how I knew if I’d never tried it because he was implying that I should sleep with him before deciding and I asked him how he knew he wasn’t attracted to llamas if he’d never slept with one? Which means that when I ship something, that does not mean I want the characters to fuck each other. Or even kiss. 

It literally just fucking means I want them to be in a relationship of mutual trust, understanding, and love. They don’t need to fuck or kiss or even hold hands.

All I want is for them to smile at each other because they love eachother and respect one another and support one another.

Because I’m aro ace sex and touch repulsed and autistic and that’s the kind of lense I look at the world through.

I am allowed to hate on Tobias however much I want. He’s not a real person. He cannot be affected by my hatred. Your version of him cannot be affected by my hatred. Literally the only version of him affected by my hatred is the one I write in my fics. Tobias is creepy because I find him creepy. 

But guess what? Me finding him creepy does not affect you at all. My hatred for Tobias doesn’t affect anyone at all.

I’m just going to remind everyone once again: I could have left his books out of my list altogether. I COULD have had that list be useful only to me.

But I didn’t. Because I want other people to be able to read these books that I love. 

And this is the thanks I get. For slaving away ON MY DAY OFF WORK, to make these books more accessible.

First headcanon that pops into my head

She was a Robin Hood type for a long while, kinda doing the Robin Hood thing for a good while, before ending up saving the village of Danesti from bandits, who were extorting the village. After which she was begged to stay, so she stayed and soon enough became the village headwoman, because she is just this level-headed no-bullshit person. :D (And yes, this headcanon mostly happened because she is most probably based on Grant Danesty from the game.)
