apparently there have been surveys for choosing your fave scene from each game organized by the tales channel. vesperia's came out earlier. when i was watching the placements for 4~10th place, i was kind of surprised by the order of some, even if the scenes themselves definitely make sense to make top 10. i was also surprised by the first place but i should have known it would have made so high up

Alright gang, heres Avocado Toast! :) The Steven Universe style fusion between Sprout and Poptart!

-First and foremost, the fusion is the literal embodiment of self love. It is going to be super hard to catch them without a smile!

-The initial fusion happened by complete accident! Poptart joined Sprout for the night for insomnia mixed with feeling cuddly reasons. In the morning they woke up fused haha!

-Sprout didnt tell anything to poptart about his fusion with Big Leo and that it was possible for them to do the same, it was after their initial first accidental fusion that he opened up more about the concept and his experience

-You can often find Toast hugging themselves and fidgeting with their hands! A related thing to note is that it takes the fusion a while to learn how to use two arms on the same side without bonking them into eachother, and also takes a while to learn how to not fall off balance with so much arm weight on one side without being on the other!

-Clothes are not part of the fusion, when they unfuse the result is either Poptart or Sprout in some VERY oversized clothes haha

-The fusion between Big Leo and Sprout is the same fusion! Same personality! But minus the 'Toast' part of the name, back then the fusion was just named Avocado!

-Related to what is above, there is a thought in the back of the fusions mind thinking that they would never get to exist again, up until Poptart showed up that is allowing them to exist once more, and they cannot thank Poptart enough for that

-The first time Big Leo and Sprout fused (Avocado) was different than Sprout and Poptarts (Toast) first time fused. With Avocado, they fused the same way Poptart and Sprout did (cuddles) but this never happened before, the fusion panicked instead. However the fusion was too strong and stable to unfuse. Big Leo and Sprout didnt know how to even unfuse after all! Anyways they spend the whole day fused and trying to hide themselves from the family while also figuring out how to move with the new body haha

-Toast is, hilariously enough obsessed with Sprout and Poptart and loves to see pictures and hear stories of them, some part of the fusion wishes it was possible for them to meet the Leos they are composed of

-Sometimes when Sprout is having a really bad chronic pain day, Poptart offers to fuse with him as a way to 'share the pain' since Toast has twice the amount of pain tolerance, and can handle the pain way better than Sprout can

-Similar to whats above, at some point both Sprout and Poptart become reliant on Toast to fight for them in physical battles. Sprout doesnt want to fight, it hurts, and he hurts even after the fight, but Toast can fight for him pain free. Poptart is tired of trying to learn a new fighting technique and is often upset he is not as strong as he used to be, but Toast is strong and knows how to fight.

-lmao they also become reliant on Toast to do chores

-What Sprout and Poptart remember doing fused depends on how emotional and stable the fusion was

-An amazing idea thanks to @dianagj-art that I am in love with is that Poptart/Sprout and Toast often pre record videos and write notes to eachother to say hello in the only way they really can. Due to this the fusion slowly becomes more and more loopy and unresponsive throughout the day and zones out frequently. In this case, the first time the reader spots Wolfie approaching the camp, they probably freak out and try to avoid him, even if the Links are okay with him or if he seems familiar to them.

i think a large part of it is a) how social media has transitioned over the years which led to b) people who used to use instagram, tiktok, twitter, facebook, etc. who now use tumblr like they would other websites.

admittedly, i've been trying to distance myself from social media as a whole for... years (deactivated two accounts, including my account of almost 10 years, in the past 2 years) mostly because of how i've been treated and how interaction has been.

i've never been someone who got a lot of interaction. even years ago on my old old blog i rarely got asks. i rarely had people asking me about my fics and my projects and even just things about me as a whole. it's what's stopping me from doing youtube for fun. i want to stream games and i want to cook for people and i want to talk about queer rights and gender and sexuality and transitioning and being autistic and ADHD and everything that comes with it but i know i won't have the engagement.

it is true that there should be a level of creating that you do for yourself. especially when it comes to fanfiction and fanart that you do for free and post and expect no income from it. however, when you post something, you're sharing it with others. you're saying "look! i did this! i made this! i'm proud enough of it to share it with you if you want to take a look!" and people do have free will. they have the ability to say "oh yeah, that looks interesting! i'll share it with others!" or "yeah, that looks good, i'll give it a read!" but they also have the ability to not share it or not read it for any specific reason.

i've found with my fics that no one read them. so no one commented on them. i used to be in the GoT fandom (yeah, yeah, i know) years ago, and even though those fics that i wrote weren't very popular, they still got more hits, more kudos, more comments than my LOZ/LU fics. between the lack of interaction and the fact that i started to actually struggle to write anything at all (including essays and assignments for school), i stopped writing so often. i have a few more recent fics on my ao3, including one i tried to make into a long boi, but it kinda felt like people ignored it.

there's a sense of luck to online popularity. all of the big blogs you see tumblr are big for a reason, but there was also an element of luck to it. same with youtubers, and twitch streamers, and influencers. but there is also a certain type of personality that becones popular. on tumblr, it's very different than the type of personality that becomes popular on other sites, but it's still a type.

i interact. i add onto other people's posts. i reblog ask games. i make friends in fandom spaces. but i also feel as if i'm doing everything wrong, and no one will tell me what. i write fics no one wants to read, but i can't tell if it's just disinterest or if my writing is genuinely bad. i'm not a fanartist, and i wish i did music more but i just don't have the energy. i don't have the mental capacity for much of anything else besides school and doing house chores so people don't get mad at me. it's just very disheartening when i put as much as i can give into something and nothing comes out of it
