is already glued to your side. So it's pretty hard to be cold around him. He's like a walking space heater. And it can only get better.

He'll pull you in close, reaaaal close, and just keep you there. Cling to him, he begs. Seriously. There's no need for jackets or blankets with him. Maybe some tea.

He'll even gradually increase the temperature around you two, like a testament to his love. He actually gets kinda defensive if you still need gloves or something.

Speaking of gloves, Kuai Liang LOVES holding your hands in his hands. Not just like holding hands, but cupping his hands around yours.

Anywhere, he's holding you close to keep you warm. Show you off a little, while he's at it. He especially loves it when your clinging to his arm.

actually worries himself sick over you. So when he catches you shivering, even if it's just for a second, he's already all over you.

He's got a surprisingly warm body temperature! Unfortunately he cannot heat up anymore, so he's got like a whole checklist on what to get you. Especially on particularly cold days.

Blankets first. He actually kinda forces you inside. But for good reason. He's got like 17 different blankets picked out for you. He's also got some hot cocoa for you, as well.

And if you don't want to stay inside? He has you put on some gloves. Shoves two more pairs in your coat's pocket as well. Like he makes sure you have more than enough layers.

But Tomas does it all out of love! He's kind of a worrywart over you, he can't help but be protective over... literally everything!

Rest assured, you won't be cold around him. Like he really doesn't want you to be. Any little slip, a soft chatter of your teeth, and he's freaking out!!!

OMG. ok so IWTV s2 ep8... Finished it like two minutes ago so here are my thoughts. SPOILERS.

Yeah no there's no way I can wait for like two years for the next season. No fucking way.

This episode was amazing. I don't want to say masterpiece (because I'm sure there are flaws that I'm just not observant enough to see) but it is for sure the word I'm thinking.

Lemme try and go somewhat chronologically.

The start, heartbreaking, the speech "the suit changes nothing" oh my hell. The rocks that's fucked no thank you. Armand saving Louis "again" and Louis not even wanting to be alive. The way he talks about it "My rage was denied, my rage killed..." like he was out of his body and acting on autopilot (like he seems to do a lot actually)

His burning down the theater and killing of Santiago filled me with so much joy. They very much deserved it and omg he got them. He was like an angel of revenge (and he looked angelic too, sorry, no I cannpt be normal, he was gorgeous)

Armand's "I'll spend the rest of my life trying to make it up to you" and Louis' "You can't" and yes he cannot but he will try (by erasing your memories i guess lol)

Meeting with Lestat in Magnus' lair hurt. "Here's your death" and the kiss (after not even wanting to be with armand really and just doing it to hurt lestat) and the speech after and we're basically threatning him with loneliness again and it's just so... no words really. Hurtful and tragic for Lestat (especially since he was the one to save him like that's fuckeddd)

Dubai. "That's the end of it" halfway through the episode and their weird happiness like it was obvious something was gonna get fucked and I'm glad it did.

Investigative journalist Daniel Molloy using his powers for good aka making these two vamipires divorce (which he almost did 50 years ago but this time it's on purpose). Love him.

I love how he eases Louis with the little stuff, the discrepancies (that were in the show on purpose they make no mistakes yay), and how with every second Louis doubts everything more and more and how with every second Armand's eyes show a little more fear.

Lestat actually being the one to save Louis wasn't totally unexpected but tbh Armand kinda had me fooled. Not in this really but like I thought he was a passive participant of the trial like he just didn't intervene and not that he was the fucking director??

And now I'm not sure if he just didn't love Louis as much as we thought or if he was actually that much of a coward. Probably the second one tho, given how much he did to secure Louis' love (gaslight, lie, change memories... you know totally normal stuff) and how afraid he is to be losing it now.

Louis fucking Armand up even if it's just a little is great, I have been waiting for it. Go away Armand and think about what you did. (I love you so much but nope rn you're not staying)

And then Louis goes to New Orleans and meets Lestat at his lowest and omg my heart hurts (thank god for "siri pause" it made me laugh)

And their conversation about Louis' turning and Claudia and San Francisco and the hurt and the tears and the little voice cracks and there I was crying too. With every word I wanted to push them together so that they would fucking hug and then they finally did and I know they'll be alright (as alright as one can be in this situation)

Then the tv thing gave me fucking whiplash like lmao. Fictional memoir my ass. Don't you disrespect my boy Daniel like that. Speaking of, Daniel has been turned. OMFG? Like I knew he would eventually and I knew it would be Armand but I didn't expect it now??? And we didn't see it but fingers crossed we get it later.

And there must be something more to it, Armand with his disgust wouldn't turn him just out of anger, so there must've been another reason (Devil's minion or maybe to save his life idk)

Louis in his tower alone (? Lestat is getting ready for tour I hope) and he knows that they are after him. But he owns the night. Powerful shit. He might have a death wish also idk.

I just. Am done. This was something else and there was a lot of it and my mind is still spinning a little.

Everyone who worked on this show deserves the world and the actors even more so and I need the next season like yesterday.

there’s something to be said about just how robotic hera sounds, especially in this episode, since one of her only purposes here is to relay information from hilbert like she’s some sort of amazon alexa rather than an actual member of the crew with her own thoughts and feelings on the whole biannual physical thing. sure it could be explained by “oh, the writers wanted to introduce her as an ai rather than a crew member so it could be deconstructed later, it was their decision”. but i think it gets a little more interesting if you think of it as being hera’s choice. because she’s still incredibly young at this point, barely two years old, and she knows that if she does anything to piss the “real” members of the crew off, they could report her to goddard the moment they got back home and she would be disposed of because cutter and pryce would determine she clearly hasn’t learned her lesson. because mind you, everyone still thinks they’re going home, right now, and soon. and hera has no idea what’s going to happen to her when their rotation is over, so she might as well be as pleasant and agreeable as she can so that she has a hope of surviving when all is said and done.

also? i think it says something that eiffel was behind minkowski one hundred percent when she first pitched her alibi as to why she couldn’t participate in the physical (before things went bad) instead of immediately ratting her out to buy himself more time. it’s surprisingly incredibly selfless of him, and something i think gets forgotten when people talk about how much of a dick he is in the earlier seasons (which, don’t get me wrong, he still is)

And that is it!!! God, what an episode!! I feel like this episode is a good starting point for a show rewrite, in which Arthur gets more and more curious about magic and tries to understand, and maybe we'd get a magic reveal and shit like. I like that a lot.

Arcane Season 2 spoiler thoughts!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

After the events of the election in the US, I really needed something to keep me from offing myself and Arcane season 2 could not have come at a better time honestly. I’m literally frothing at the mouth over this first act and I cannot wait for the rest of it. I’ve been looping all the released songs aggressively and I love almost every single one. This will be my new personality for the foreseeable future, gang.

Alright lets get the few negatives out of the way first:

1. I…do not like the new intro. It feels way too muted and strange compared to the energy of the season 1 opener. I would have preferred they kept the first season opening and just made minor tweaks, like having Ambessa’s shadow appear instead of Silco’s or something.

2. I’ve seen some discourse already about it being “fast” and like….I didn’t think that would be shocking to people. This is the season of action. We built up all the plot threads so now they can explode into their brilliance. We know this world and these characters and we can be tossed into the thick of the action and the emotions without handholding anymore. We aren’t building to a climax anymore; we’re IN the climax! Of course shit is hitting the fan quickly, that’s what happens when shit hits the fan. We’ve been away from this world for 3 years, but the season is picking up seconds after the last one ended. Reacquaint yourself with the world and it won’t feel so out of no where.

Alright onto every other thought I have:

1. LESBIANS ARE WINNING RAHHHHHHH

2. LESBIANS ARE LOSING NOOOOOOOO

3. Ahem how could you do that to me in the same episode? Like oh my god it’s so heartbreaking how well both sides of this debate are constructed. Seeing both characters in real time look right past the experience and perspective of the other. It’s just another example of not having a conversation like this in the heat of the moment. I love both my girls and I know they’ll make up….right Riot? They’ll make up right?

4. Ambessa orchestrating all out war like this, escalating it where it didn’t need to be and bringing Caitlyn up to be her warlord apprentice makes me so apprehensive for the next act!!! God the way Ambessa immediately clocked Caitlyn was the person she needed for her little takeover is so calculating!! Caitlyn is already making impulsive choices on her own and now she’ll be under the wing of a woman who wants nothing more than power and bloodshed. I cannot wait to see how far Caitlyn is going to fall before she realizes what this stray from her morals has done to her. I hope we get a final showdown between her and Ambessa where she rebukes being what Ambessa is grooming her to be.

5. That episode 1 fight scene was INSANEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! Okay all the fights were insane and so well executed and fuck everything is so perfect and exactly what I was expecting from Arcane. The chainsaw went crazy and Sevika’s new arm is just so simultaneously Jinx and Sevika. It’s brutal and chaotic and I know Sevika can work wonders with it. Also Sevika please call me.

6. I love how all these characters that were mostly background people in season 1 are now getting moments in the spotlight instead of just introducing brand new characters. Like yes utilize the remaining chembarons for the Zain power vacuum rather than bringing in new people! Yes have the remaining councilors become bigger players on the board instead of more Noxus people! Yes utilize existing background characters to bring in the Black Rose!! I love that we have more room for important new characters / champions because we’ve utilized existing background characters in this way.

8. Viktor Jesus arc here we gooooooo! Glorious Evolution tis time!!!

9. I love how the arcane itself is becoming a character. It’s influencing the plot and characters in a way it didn’t before. Now it’s actually an agent of its own power. I am so excited to see what consequences this will have.

So. I just listened to MAG 200, finally finishing the fever dream that is The Magnus Archives, and all I have to say is: Holy shit. Just. Good lord.

Look, I knew it was going to be sad. I've been on Pinterest. But Jesus. I was not prepared. Now I'm shaking and will certainly be curling in the fetal position later, sobbing and screaming into the void. I mean, I'm happy for Basira, Melanie & Georgie of course, as well as our beloved Admiral, but God. Jon and Martin, I love you, you deserved so much better, I see why all your fanfics are fix it. But even just thinking about everyone we have lost, all the characters I got emotionally attached to. Sasha. Tim. Daisy. Michael Shelley. Even thinking about all the avatars (I'm a sucker for a villian, what can I say?) makes my lungs spasm with love and want. I shall miss them all for eternity.

And so ends possibly the greatest experience I've ever had with a fandom, at least until I recover enough to start tmagp. Everything about tma is just pure amazingness. Everything. It's funny how much you can grow to love random people just by hearing them voice act a character and laugh in bloopers. I love them so much, the whole cast. The two blooper episodes brought me more joy than I think I have ever experienced with a piece of media, trumping even the mighty Good Omens, which is saying something (To be fair though, Not with that thong on! and Oh god, I'm knackered, I've been doing all this labelling! would make anyone crack up, although perhaps not continue hysterically giggling for over fifty minutes... They still pop into my head sometimes and I'll just randomly snort in really inappropriate situations because I'm gonna buy some 'ead and shoulders, 'cause I found one on the road this mornin'! and Gertrude's been on the sauce, need I say more? Yes? Alright then,if you insist - Happy little DOORBELLS! FifTy MInUteS eArLY! and Fuck you, Jonny. God, he drags the rest of us down. What a wanker! I could go on, but I feel these brackets have already gotten way longer than they have any business being). I love these strangers more than I love anyone else I've actually met before, except my partner. They are everything to me. And I cannot wait to re-listen to all five seasons yet again, definitely screaming and crying and laughing and screaming while I do so. I have never before listened to and experienced something so perfect. Alex and Jonny, you have legitimately changed my life in all the best and worst ways possible, and I hate you and love you for it. You have my utmost gratitude and admiration, also kindly piss off.

The Oscars are upon us and thank god. This year's awards season felt prolonged for some reason, like extra long. It's a thing I look forward to with all the red carpets but also seeing what wins and discussing what should have won but somehow it felt like it lasted forever this year. Maybe it's just me, who knows, but a few movies seemed to have a death grip on the entire conversation this year. My take on 2023 was that it was sort of an interesting year in that it's mean was strong but it didn't move me. A lot of years there are one or two movies that are such favorites of mine that I know I will return to them again and again. Movies that hit my heart. Last year it was Aftersun, a few years before that Portrait of a Lady on Fire and Little Women, and so on. This year, assembling my top 10 list I found that there was nothing that I couldn't wait to pop in again but I had trouble keeping the list to just 10 movies. It was a weird situation where if you looked at my list and told me my ten should be one and my one should be ten I'd probably agree with you. Anyway, with the Oscars coming here is what I think of the big awards. Best Actor I don't care. There are three candidates that if they won I'd be glad and I think the most likely to win are two of them so that's fine. I think Ryan Gosling should win for Supporting actor but he probably won't but I won't be heart broken cause I saw all the performances and they are good and the best supporting actor this year wasn't even nominated so who gives a fuck? Ditto best Actress and supporting actress but my pick would probably be Emma Stone for actress. Best Picture I think Zone of Interest or Poor Things would probably be my pick of those nominated, both are amazing pieces of cinema but the first can be like doing your homework in the sense that it is a deeply unpleasant experience that I think we should all go through from time to time. Past Lives and Poor Things are very rewatchable and will grow with each viewing so I think have the most legs for posterity other than the obvious Barbie and Oppenheimer. As for Oscars snubs, the stuff they basically ignored but shouldn't have because it's better than some of what made it in no orders is: May December, Asteroid City, Return to Seoul, Wes Anderson like ever, Zac Efron, CHARLES MELTON, Park Ji-Min, Greta Lee, Teo Yoo, I guess maybe just Asian Actors in general, great job Oscars. Oh, and you know, shout out to A Thousand and One which probably shouldn't be nominated, it wasn't perfect but is the sort of flawed that made it somehow far more compelling than a lot of the nominees this year. Oh, and Four Daughters should win for documentary because it is movie and fascinating and takes a tact I have never seen a documentary do before. Award moving the medium forward.

Anyway, all that is a long way of saying I am posting Margot Robbie today who should have been nominated for an Oscar this year. It isn't the single greatest snub of all time but she was in a movie that helped save Hollywood for at least one more year and did a phenomenal job in a role that I think literally she is the only person who could have played it. Acting is so much more than the words you say and your body and physicality is part of it and there is something to be said about someone who can both look like Barbie and act at a high level. Despite the fact that I do not feel the same level of lust for Margot Robbie the rest of the world does I cannot help but admire her as an actor. She is, without a doubt, someone who goes for it in a way very few movie stars do. She acts in everything i have ever seen her in as if this is her one shot to get into Hollywood and if she half asses it her career is over. This is such a level of effort from a movie star who often settle into a persona. Not because they can't act but because a persona is more profitable and better for their career but also yes, it is easier. Easier and safer and she never, ever does that. Thing is, awards are often about what is distinguished more than it is about what is accomplished and playing a toy is not distinguished playing say, dead people is. Now, you'll hear people say awards don't matter and they are nonsense and that's all true except also they do matter and they are important. Which is why this isn't a massive snub because Margot Robbie is going to be just fine but here is why they are important. Every single movie nominated for the Oscars this year is about to get a second life. It will have more eyeballs on it than it would otherwise, both in theaters and on streaming. Artists tend to want their art to be seen, it's very unsatisfying to create and have it wither in obscurity. It will also make them more money so they can make more art but also so they are rewarded for their labor. Finally, everyone likes to be recognized for their work. Anyone here who does a job knows how awful it is to toil away in obscurity without so much as a thanks or recognition of your effort. Which is why you see people like me worry about who wasn't nominated as much as anything else. So they don't matter in the sense that who wins the Oscar has no impact on what is or isn't a great movie but it does matter in the sense that it matters to the people working on it and it matters on how it gets recognition for work. So, Margot Robbie could at least win as a producer but I think her role was good enough she should be nominated as an actress again and think she largely wasn't not because the field was so crowded but because she made a movie about a toy and thus we've seen almost no actual awards for Barbie. Today was the day! You were going to confess! To both of them! God the pining. The seeing them pine over each other! If only it goes right. Please, please, please let this go right!

But Sebastian avoided you. Every time you tried to be in the same room as him and Sam, Sebastian shied away.

Why would he avoid you? Did you do something wrong..?

After all this time? Why now? Right when you were finally going to tell them?

Your mind goes back to the first time you realized..

You were at Abigails. The two of you were close friends, and she had finally gotten with Haley. So now instead of her squealing about her own love life, she was extremely invested in yours.

"Soooooo, farmer." The shit eating grin on her face was obvious, "which one is it?"

"Which one is what?"

"Well who do you like! It's gotta be Sam or Sebastian. You literally can't shut up about them."

"Yes I can!! And I don't know! They are like two out of my 3 closest friends. I don't think I'd want to screw that up. Plus I've never even thought about it.."

She laid down, kicking her feet, "Well start thinking! I see the way they look at you."

"They look at me?" Your heart started pounding. Wait were you happy about this? "Abigail what do you mean?"

"Oh honey, they are both down BAD for you." She held your hand, using that small town talk as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

Did you like them? I mean they were both on the same level. You just thought that they were your closest friends. You hung out all the time. But looking back, your heart skipped a few beats more than once. And not just for one of them. "I like both of them?"

"Oh my Yoba I can't believe you like them!"

"Shhh, Abigail!!"

"Both of them? This is a revelation! A realization for the centuries!"

"Ughhhhhh why did I even start talking. Maybe??? Abigail Oh god. Oh yoba I think I do like both of them. This cannot be happening."

But oh did it happen. You were falling hard and fast. Nothing could have stopped those boys from worming into your heart. So why did it have to be when you got the courage to ask them out that Seb started to avoid you?

Fuck it. You'll talk to Sam first. He is more open anyways, so he'd probably be okay with it and be able to help you talk to Seb. So here you were. "Sam I'm going to cut to the chase."

"Yeah, of course, what's up? Is everything alright?" He looked at you so obliviously. You can't believe you were doing this.

"Sam, I think I like you. No scratch that. I don't think, I know. You make me feel special, and I want to make you feel the same way."

Please. Please. God you loved him so much, but you don't want to scare him away. All you wanted to do was kiss him. Hold his hand. Spend the rest of your life with him and Sebastian.

"I think I like you back..?"

You tilted your head, "you think?" He thinks?? What does that mean???

"I- uhm. I know I like you. But uh.. shit." It clicked. Oh he was kind of cute about this.

And you smiled at him. "You like Sebastian, don't you?" He froze. This is good! Well not him panicking- but he likes you. And he likes Sebastian. This could go better than you had thought!

"Sam, it's okay." You reach to rub his ark, trying to keep him from spiraling.

"Its.. okay? Wait how is this okay? Isn't this basically a rejection for you?"

"Well.. are you rejecting me?" Maybe he didn't like you as much as it seemed? God wait was he rejecting you?

"No!! No! No, farmer, this is absolutely not a rejection!"

You blushed. "But you're saying like me back?"

He turned red in return, "O-oh! Yes! Yes absolutely I do!! I think I've likes you for a long time now! I mean I think I just realized it. I think I've liked Sebastian for forever, but I've liked you for seasons, farmer."

He goes to hold your hands, "Can I kiss you?" That was bold. Certainly not how you excepting this to go but you honestly didn't know what you were expecting.

"Of course." You couldnt believe this was happening. He pulled you in by the waist, wrapping his arm tight around you. You lean in and put your fingers in his hair. Your lips touch, and it feels magical. He runs his other hand to the back of your neck. He pulls you in closer, and it feels like no other kiss you've had before.

Once you let go of each other he start, "But how are you so calm about this? About me liking Sebastian? How is this okay?"

"I also like Sebastian." It may have been blunt, but it was the truth. If you wanted them you needed to be open and honest with how you felt. And by yoba did you love them both.

"You huh?!" His face was adorable, so confused!

"I was hoping to catch both of you but Sebastian has been avoiding me recently.." You look away, "But I've liked both of you for nearly as long as I've lived in the valley. And I can see from the way you two look at each other that there have been unspoken feelings for a long time. I knew I would regret it if I never said anything. The best I could hope for was that you'd like me back, and we could talk things through, the three of us."

"That was kind of a lot to throw at you, wasn't it.. I'm not sure what I was expecting to happen here. But hopefully we can make the best of it?"

"Sorry, sorry. I just needed a minute to process. You said Seb has been avoiding you? Why??"

"I'm honestly not sure. I think he is misunderstanding something? I have no idea what's going through his head.."

"Well, Why don't you go catch him? I'd love for the three of us to talk. See where we can go. But you need to clear up whatever is going on with him before we can talk about anything." He points over at the idiot of a boy walking towards the beach.

You sigh, "yeah... yeah you're right. God why does he just shut himself down instead of talking to me.." shaking your head you start after him. "I'll be back, hopefully soon." You turn around sharply, "But thank you for earlier."

You kiss him on the cheek before running after his best friend. He wasn't that far ahead of you, but his hair was in his face so you couldn't read him.

Once you finally caught up, "Hey sebastian!!" You smile at him, hoping to actually talk with him.

"Hey, farmer." He looked down at the ground. Oh no he is already shutting this down? God you wish you just knew why he was acting like this.

"Awh man, whats up?" Maybe he just needs a prompt to talk about it? Or.. maybe you can have Sam be there to. He isn't mad at Sam right now. Or at least you hope not? "You know, i was just talking to Sam. Would you want to hang out with us? Maybe play some pool? We havent actually hung out the three of us in a while..." You offer your hand out to him.

"I'm good." He practically swats your hand away. "I bet you'd absolutely love it for it to just be you and Sam, arent I right?" He drags the words out. He sounds so.. hurt. "Because you just absolutely love him. Don't you?"

"I do like Sam, but-"

He shouts, "what kind of 'but' is there?! You don't like me. I get it. But I'm in love with you, farmer. I can't help it."

He's in love with you? Wait wait but why has he been avoiding you? This was going all sorts of wrong. Shit and he is walking away.

"Sebastian hey!!" You reach for his shoulder, but he shrugs you off. "Sebastian, come on! You aren't even listening to me."

"And why should I? Huh? Leave me alone farmer. I'll see you when I see you." He practically spits the words to your face.

No.. no no! God why cant you fix this? Why did you even come to this valley? You've ruined your relationship with Sebastian and you don't even know how. You were in love with him! And he loved you back.. how did this go so wrong???

Nothing good would come out of chasing after Sebastian right now. So you go to Sam's house. Hoping. Praying for something to happen. For something to go right. Please.

An* If you have been keeping up with this series (which would be so cool!!!) There might be some confusion with a dialog change. I had to edit some of the first part (literally only one paragraph) for it to make sense as a series. It wasn't originally supposed to be a series so it needed some tweaking. But if you like. Remember every detail then just check out part 1 again!

HOLY SHIT SPANISH JACKIE REGULAR CREW MEMBER POSSIBILITIES NEXT SEASON????? Fuck me even if our hard work doesn’t pan out (#renew as a crew) and we don’t get our third season I could live with this ending. Ed and Stede are happily retired fixing up an inn, they both know they love eachother, the rest of the crew is off together doing their pirate thing but still able to pop back and visit whenever. Though Ricky when they catch you Ricky you son of a bitch istg. Little weasel. Demeans Jackie, tries to wipe out an entire culture because they didn’t let him play pirate, assumes (of fucking course) that a white man is the real power behind Blackbeard’s glory not Ed’s tactical genius and martial skill. Murders Izzy putting a damper on an otherwise badass scene where everyone looks fucking incredible in their fancy matching coats.

I can’t with Our Flag Means Death man. Despite budget cuts and less episodes they fucking did it again. I know I’ve said it before but I seriously cannot understate how much ofmd means to me. What a season, everything I’d hoped for and more from my favorite show <3

Vide Noir by Lord Huron

never gonna be over this album. its top tier shit and i love it so much. the amount of EFFORT that was put into all this both in the album (THE MUSIC AND STORY HOLY SHIT!!!) and the outside stuff (products of the universe and a whole ass movie. never gonna be over the fact they made a whole ass movie. who does that) is just. insane. fucking insane i love it

2. Strange Trails by Lord Huron

Just barely under Vide Noir in my heart but god. god what an album. love me an anthology and an album that experiments a lot with different styles. its a no skip album and you're rewarded for not skipping with those fucking TRANSITIONS!!!! what a kick off to the main universe. listen to it on vinyl if you have the chance its an experience

3. Coyote Stories by The Crane Wives

i love folk so so much. i started to appreciate this one a lot more after listening to it on vinyl like. agh. i love it here. listen to the hand that feeds

4. Wasteland Baby! by Hozier

Hozier never misses sorry. absolutely gorgeous sound. never before have i seen a man balance between "deep poltical messaging" and "GOD i love women". nobody doing it like him

5. Boreas by The Oh Hellos

BOREAS MY DEAR FRIEND BOREAS. the four seasons/winds albums are so so good with the cycle of death and rebirth and continuation of life. Boreas is the winter album and it focuses heavy on themes of depression and feeling cold but enduring anyway. the album of all time

6. Mania by Fall Out Boy

Got a soft spot for this one in particular due to some memories in high school. its also just a great album in general but im always gonna be biased in its favor. mania my beloved

7. Jiminy by Bear Ghost

its just kinda silly and i love it (at least until Vulture comes in for your throat. seriously why did that one go so hard). took like 8 years to get made and im glad it did. the individual art they have for each song is cool and i cant wait to see them live in august :)

same thing i said about wasteland baby except now theres dante's inferno and layers of hell stuff that also doubles as a breakup album. we love religious theming here

9. Hayfields by Yaelokre

I dont care if its an EP its a BANGER. its so so good and its got funky fantasy lore. i cannot wait for her to make more music because ive have been rotating these four songs in my brain for so long

10. Angel Face (Club Deluxe)

listened to Howling at Wolves 1 (one) time and got addicted. not usually my type of jam (i like pop but im not crazy about it usually) but i really like this vibe. theres a lot of LH inpso here (both in terms of the style and the lore) as well as a lot of older 60s songs (i like hes got a playlist or two for his characters that have a ton of older music on it). cannot stand until i found you but its worth it for the rest of the album. also going to see him live in august :)
