Helluva Boss Tickle Headcannons
Have some headcannons because I'm bored Blitzo -DEVIOUS LER -Main targets are Moxxie and Fizz (after they made up) -If he’s in a ler mood you need to RUN (luckily it doesn’t happen often) -Loves to chase -Loves to sneak up on Moxxie and tickle him while claiming it’s “just a hug, what’s so funny?” -Favorite teases have to do with his lee’s laugh/reactions -”Oh, is this a bad spot? Too bad!” -Very giggly lee -Has a very giggly and bubbly laugh when tickled, a big contrast to his usual snarky and sarcastic cackles -Main lers are Stolas, Moxxie and Fizz -Favorite ler is Moxxie but won’t admit it to save his life -Will never outright say he’s in a lee mood, but if you know him well enough you can tell -He’ll lay across a ler’s lap with his shirt slightly exposing his tummy -Or he’ll instigate a tickle fight just to have someone get revenge -Worst spot is his knees, he’ll go into hysterics if they’re squeezed -Can say the word but it’s embarrassing so he’d rather not Stolas -Very teasy ler -My man has feathers all over him you think he’s not going to use them to torture his lee? -Main targets are Blitzo and Octavia -Gets his target into a lee mood then makes them ask for it  -”I don’t know what you want, darling, you’ll have to tell me~” -Only tickles Octavia with consent, Blitzo isn’t so lucky (not that he minds) -Isn’t ticklish, much to Blitzo’s disappointment. Millie -Absolutely loves to tickle Moxxie when he’s upset or stressed out -Loves to tease -Flusters the hell out of Moxxie and enjoys every minute of it -Likes to point out how flustered he gets around the word -”Awww, hun, it’s just a word! Tickle tickle tickle! Awwwww look at that blush!” -Loves to give raspberries -Not very ticklish but her neck gets a few giggles out of her -Moxxie is the only person who can tickle her without getting hurt Moxxie -Very rare for him to ler -Mainly only ler to Millie and Blitzo if he’s being extra annoying or upset -Can’t say the word even when he’s ler -THE BIGGEST LEE IN HELL OMG -The cutest laugh in history -Main lers are Millie and Blitzo -Favorite ler is Millie -Cannot ask for tickles to save his life -Cannot handle teasing but loves it at the same time -THE CUTEST LIL SNORTS IF YOU GET HIM GOOD AGHHHH -Worst spot is his tummy but he’s ticklish basically everywhere -Won’t ask his ler to stop until he literally can’t breathe and has to tap out -Can you tell who my favorite character is? Octavia -Cannot ler to save her life -Main lers are Stolas and Loona -Hates her laugh but her ler will reassure her it’s adorable -Blushes very easily -Worst spot is her tummy -Raspberries will send her into hysterics Loona -Octavia’s favorite ler -100% tickles Octavia when she’s sad or particularly angsty -Big fan of using raspberries -Not really fond of babytalk but she will tease the living shit out of her lee -”Oh wow, I never knew someone could be this ticklish, how do you survive?” -Not ticklish anywhere except behind her ears -Blitzo is the only one who knows this
Asmodeus -OMG THIS MAN IS A LER 100% -Only to Fizz though -Loves to use petnames in his teases -”Aww~ Is my little fizzy frog ticklish here?” -Gentle tickles, then big raspberries out of nowhere just to throw his lee off their game -THE KING OF BABYTALK OMGGG -He’s a rooster and 100% uses his feathers to his advantage -Bigger and stronger than Fizz so pinning him is super easy -As soon as his lee says anything close to stop he’s cuddling them and asking is he went too far -Only ticklish on his hips -May or may not have accidentally hit Fizz the first time he was tickled -IMMEDIATELY APOLOGIZED AFTER BECAUSE HE WILL NOT HURT HIS FIZZY FROG -Doesn’t particularly like being tickled but he loves everything Fizz does so he enjoys it nonetheless Fizzarolli -Crazy ler -100% uses his robot arms to pin his lee -Main target is Blitzo but if he’s feeling brave he’ll go for Asmodeus -Definitely has been kicked in the face before by a certain imp -Lovesssss to tease and babytalk his lee -”Aww~ Is the wittle baby too tickwish? Can he not handle the tickle tickle tickles?” -Second place to Moxxie for cutest lee -Main lers are Asmodeus and Blitzo -Ticklish literally everywhere but his worst spot is his spine and upper back -CANNOT HANDLE BACK/SHOULDER MASSAGES -Asmodeus found out he was ticklish after offering to give him a massage after a hard day -Blushy and giggly lee -Like all you have to do is wiggle your fingers in his direction and he’s blushing and giggling up a storm -100% will retaliate and get revenge tenfold -Use his own teases against him and he will die -Tell him how much it’s gonna tickle and he will also die Did I forget someone? Probably. I’m tired.

Accidental Father Acquisition
Tumblr media
Requst: Ritual gone wrong with celebrimbor! I've been playing shadow of mordor and I just love him. What's more spooky than being bonded to a ghost? I'm not saying it has to follow the plot lines of the games at all, I'm just inspired/going for the vibes of that.
Pairing: Celebrimbor x Reader
Genre: Crack/ found family
Summary: From death by banner to an expecting mother, Celebrimbor's plot was insane.
AN: This is bonkers. Proceed with caution. Also, Shadow of Mordor Celebrimbor is the definition of how I imagine elves to look like so I feel ya anon.
Tumblr media
Celebrimbor blinked once. Close his eyes and shook himself awake once again. Wait, why was he closing his eyes like a mortal?
The huge bump still lay in front of his vision. His bump to be exact. A feeling of faint disbelief makes him swoon only for a tiny kick to stop his dissent.
That is when he hears a small fleeting thought of incoherent hunger. The child was hungry. He noted distantly. The child inside him. Inside the body that now belonged to him.
What in the Timeless Halls was this?
“That’s my body dipshit,” The baby- no, another voice intercepts his thoughts. Another annoyed raspy voice. “Yes, it is I, your summoner. If only I had known that the spirit I get would be an equal mess.” The voice grumbled and an image of a human woman materialized in his mind, no in the woman’s mind that was now his? Or was it his mind in the woman’s body?
“You are human.” He whispers out loud to which the voice scoffs. “Yes, Einstein. I am a woman.” It You answer and Celebrimbor cannot bring himself to ask more about Einstein. He got the gist of it. “Didn’t you know who you were answering to when you walked your grand self into my circle?”
He had no idea how he was here in the first place. One second he was a banner on Sauron’s battlefield and another, he woke up with a child. And not even in his body. Was this another of Sauron’s baffling visions?
“Holy hell dude, that’s some graphic shit. Did no one tell you to not traumatize expecting mothers?” You cringe covering your eyes. Only then does Celebrimbor realize that his thoughts were now projected to you and the child. With a wince, he turns his thoughts to pressing matters.
“Where am I?” He asks the mortal woman lounging in the shared mental palace.
“In my summoning circle. That I made for a bargain. Not the body swap legenderia.” You shift trying to sit comfortably, failing to do that like a practiced dance that led to a string of curses every time. “Pregnant women can’t be comfortable even in their thoughts.” You sigh looking at the lost elf.
Celebrimbor, as if spurred into action, adjusts the cushion that materializes into the thin air just as he thinks about it. Helping you lean comfortably, he relishes in the sleepy murmurs of the child now content as its mother.
“Why did you summon me?” He sits next to you, feeling the fatigue from the human body. It’s heaviness he found himself unused to given that his jump had been from his elven form to a heavily pregnant woman.
You look at him scrutinizing him. Much to your disappointment, your summoned one ended up in your body instead of coming in a much-desired combat-enabled form. But for some absurd reason, you do not feel anything. Not the despair of a failed ritual or the shock of having a chat with the elf who now seemed to be in charge of your body. Only the everlasting urge to pee persists.
“I did it for revenge. The original plan was to find something sinister enough to mess up the man who left me in this state.” You point to your belly. “Left us hungry, begging for food. I wanted to make him suffer. Make him hate his life. But the kid got scared. It held on to your soul instead of whatever monstrosity I had asked for from Gothmog.” Celebrimbor blinks, his mouth agape.
On any other day, he would’ve been enraged, mad at the careless Eru-forsaken woman who did not once care for her child, the idiot human. He perhaps would have, had her child taken away the second it was born. Yet, now he could not help but look at you, at himself in the mirror, and see the scrawny human stare back. Calouse hands, slouched shoulders, and fragments of a nightmare he did not pry into. Of the rights and wrongs of this world, how would he judge someone who had let go of everything? Who had been robbed of everything and was still expected to love.
His despair was hers, and hers was his. Pain of betrayal, of pain, of scorn, shame, and guilt. All he knew too well. “You could have killed the child,” he whispers looking at you failing to sound every bit admonishing that he tries to be. “I am aware.” You reply with a stony gaze. “And the child will die of hunger either way. So why not sate its blood thirst as a last favor?”
Behind all the bitter words, all he feels is gut-wrenching sorrow. Despite the righteous urge to scream at your foolishness, he only gathers a tug of unfair empathy. Of the wrongness of love that bloomed out of sorrow- for a child you desired to hate.
It was wrong. All of this. And those were your thoughts that he knew to be. Anger, love, disgust all lingered in the body Celebrimbor’s soul fell into.
And then he does what none in the living eternity of Arda would have expected. “Is there a spell for procuring another body? I reckon a male vessel would be better.” He looks around trying to spot the spell book in your surroundings. “A vessel matching the child’s father.” He watches your eyes widen in surprise.
“Yes, page 345 goes over it.” You speak in a daze. The Child inside you waking up to kick in order to express its approval of the elf’s crazy fucking plan.
That is how Celebrimbor the ancient elven lord, King of Eregion found himself in the body of a 25-year-old man named Thomas Duffy. A miraculous plane crash survivor.
That is how the line of Feanor continues in your world. With your firstborn daughter, who was born with glimmering eyes for unexplainable reasons, and your twins, who possessed uncanny pointed ears.
Celebrimbor, the name, felt ancient in the tales that he told to his daughter. Your daughter, who had pulled him into her world, away from the pain and death of his world. Away from oaths, dark lords, and dooming jewelry. And Celebrimbor had clung to her mercy.
In this world, his fate was not of extravagant creations or becoming the doom of the entire world. In this world, most crises were limited to the principal's office visits for his twins. Or your pregnancy mood swings.
Never in the history of the world had been struck a bargain so pleasant. A bargain where nothing was lost.

your gale takes actually got me to look deeper into forgotten realms lore (esp where it pertains to the afterlife) and long story short i’m at least a little bit fixated on it now and also will go to bat for that wizard basically at any point. also wild magic. i’ve been reading so much about wild magic, it’s so so interesting. esp wild magic sourced from the far realm and the implications that could have for a wild magic mage in esp the bg3 setting
Thank you, I'm so glad to hear that! I'm still learning about the lore myself (there's so much), and we should all be thanking Larian for introducing so many new people to D&D!
Wild magic is insane, and I had a great time using it with my sorcerer. The magic system in general is truly fascinating, as is its history in context of the game. It's just too bad it's linked to a god. I think I've said this before, but an irksome detail about Mystra is that she technically isn't a "bad" god, but she should definitely keep her fingers to herself. Every iteration has done objectively horrible things to mortals, but because she's written by a man who clearly favours her (in my humble opinion) nothing she does is presented as wrong. 😒
Tumblr media
These asks actually reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend of mine. He basically said, "Elminster is on Mystra's side and he cares about Gale, so obviously Mystra is right." But here's the thing:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not only is Eliminster a really annoying self-insert made by Ed Greenwood, the creator of the Forgotten Realms (and I mean that literally, he's admitted he's a self-insert), but Eliminster has also had ... "relations" with his surrogate daughter. He's betrayed his friends for Mystra. He's killed arguably innocent people. So you'll have to forgive me if I don't look to him for moral guidance. He also slept with the previous iterations of Mystra and blindly follows her commands, so he might just be a teensy bit biased. In fact, if you look at various forums, you'll see a lot of players complaining about the character's irritating Gary Stu status, and that Dungeon Masters hate putting him in their campaigns.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Elminster will never question Mystra, because in his mind she's a perfect being who deserves everything, including people's lives; ignoring the fact that pretty much every god in D&D is canonically flawed. He's the type of person who would tell a grieving parent that God took their recently deceased child for "reasons we cannot comprehend".
Tumblr media
He says he took no pleasure in burdening Gale with her ultimatum, but let's be real—he wasn't that hurt by it. In fact, the Elminster we meet in game isn't even real. It's a snow clone. He couldn't be bothered to visit Gale, who he apparently respects and cares about, in person. The only time he shows any genuine emotion towards Gale is in the ascended epilogue, when he writes him a disappointed letter. And I wouldn't be surprised if that disappointment is more about him challenging Mystra than actually achieving godhood.
Tumblr media
Though it should be said that Elminster is also a victim of Mystra. The iteration before Midnight (current Mystra) groomed and abused him for a millenia, yet for some reason we, the audience, are supposed to pretend there's nothing wrong with that. If anything, we're supposed to view it as "sexy". As if Gale and Elminster are "lucky" to have caught her attention.
Tumblr media
Reading up on the lore surrounding these two is truly horrifying. Elminster is old enough now that his actions are informed and unforgivable. He helps Mystra groom boys to exploit and never questions her. He's not merely complacent, he's active in her ploys. Despite his numerous heroic feats, I personally can't overlook it, especially when he could have been Gale's biggest defender.

How was Tertro Chapter 2?
Tumblr media
In a sentence; emotionally draining, but also good.
Before getting into this I had a horrible dread that this would be worse then the previous chapter due to how horrible Chapter 1 was. And lol and behold I was not disappointed.
Since talking about Chapter 2 would be going into obvious spoiler territory its under the cut we go
Now due to the fact Saturday was a very busy day for me, I couldn't really do the streams so I had to watch in my own time to catch up. This means I miss the banter and the running community of Bubbles and TA, but I did manage to watch all the episodes prior to the BDA.
As expected for a new chapter we have a new floor and this seems to be a very artsy floor as its got art rooms, sound editing software and drama rooms. There's a pool but its very interesting that while we have to wait until Chapter 3 to confirm anything but I'm starting to think each floor might be "themed" and the 1st floor is the art/drama floor.
We also get to see some of the personalities of the other characters such as Wataru who didn't really do anything last chapter but has now self-decleared herself as headmaster but unlike with previous leader attempts, this seems to all be a joke. Later on I also get the feeling she's a lesbian given how attracted she seems to be for Mai.
Of course last chapter focused on Hiroaki and Yagami and this one follows the fallout of that. Hiroaki is NOT taking the Killing Game well at all and as later on he starts to suffer withdrawal effects from the fact he doesn't have his drugs, its clear he's not coping well at all. His friendship with Ojima is interesting as both might be getting self-aware of the fact they are co-dependant on each other which isn't healthy for both of them. That's some interesting levels of emotional maturity there.
Yagami goes through a full villain arc right here. Now in some ways its hard to not feel sorry for him given that the whole "cheating on his girlfriend" was revealed and as it turns out both girls were shallow bitches who just used Yagami because he's so naive and trusting in others. However, I have a horrid feeling the reason he attached himself to Sasaki so much was because she was similar to his ex, which isn't a good thing. But at the same time I'm annoyed he cannot get his stick out of his arse and while him beating up Hiroaki was kinda deserved since the former has been a colossal prick, he did go too far with the beatdown and it would have ended in a murder had the others not stepped in.
I'm actually impressed with this cast as they don't fall into the same pitfalls many casts in both canon and fangan games do, as despite all being 17 year olds, they are quite mature about their situation and do the most logical things, and its very telling the motives have to be so brutal and unfair to push them to even kill in the first place. And even then it can take days after a motive is revealed before someone cracks.
As for my favs, Mai is proving to be best girl as she's the most sensible person here, when the Yagami situation unfolds she suggests holding him prisoner in the dark room for 24 hours with guards to see if he shows any signs of improvement and even then she keeps him close at all times to ensure no more dirty business. However she isn't heartless as she points out to Yagami how nasty his former girlfriends are, plus as we see with her in a suit, while she is a very serious person, there is moments she can let her guard down.
Chiba also gets some moments as she runs into the same issue the likes of Hiyoko, Himiko and Kanata have had in the past, her small size compared to her peers means despite being the same age, she's treated like a child. I also think that she's probably played child roles in the past and its why she's so malnorished since her Stage Mother of a manager wants to keep that youth forever. Especially with the makeup she has on to remain childlike. That actually proves to be helpful as she was able to fix up Hiroaki's face, to a degree that it turns out better then his old face was. So her arc throughout the chapter is showing she can be mature and her deterimination to get up the vent. This causes a bit of a fallout with her friends Hama and Harada but the two were able to make it up with her.
Hiroaki is another person I'm starting to like more and more as while I won't talk too much here since another ask has asked me what my thoughts are with him, it shows how much of a complex character he is. Yes, he's an arsehole, but he's also an arsehole who has a point. He also is quite insightful as his interview reveals that he believes beauty is what's on the inside and the outside could enhance it, but if you are a ugly person internally, you will always be ugly. That's...a surprising take from him and makes me wonder how he and Arturo would behave with each other. And the fact he likes Chiba because she not only fixed his face but also showed some maturity, is proof he doesn't hate everyone aside from Ojima.
As for the motive...I fucking hate being right because I guessed it was gonna be gas that would make people act up, and we had that due to adrelianine gas being pumped in. While it would never go to fatal amounts, this would increase tensions and cause people to behave irrationally. We see this occur as Hiroaki becomes more snappy and paranoid, as I feel his withdrawal effects are made worse by the gas, Wada almost dies due to health complications from said gas, Yagami goes psycho due to grief from Sasaki's death and his anger towards Hiroaki, and Kamimura has his health issues made worse espeically given how stubborn he is. It also I think made Chiba act more deterimined to go up the vent.
What makes this worse is the masterminds who I have plenty to say about, are not only moaning that the cast is too stable as the motives are expensive, but it turns out Monomoko was doing stuff behind their backs to make the game run smoothly as they were the ones who brought a oxygen tank in to make sure Wada didn't die from the gas. So much anger came when the scientists complained that Monomoko brought controband in even if it was to make sure someone didn't die, implying they would have been willing to let Wada DIE from that.
Thus we get to the death and....Bubbles failed rule number one for Danganronpa; don't expect your favourites to survive. Heck I liked Chiba as well but I also fully expected her to die horribly. Still the fact she was seemly hung was confusing as not many people could get up there so who could have even killed her.
My talent of not leaving a single detail unnoticed and using them to build a case was handy as while there wasn't anyone super obvious to me, I noticed a few things that were off. Firstly Chiba was in her pyjamas even though she never wears them which makes me think the killer changed her clothes. Her ransaked room more or less confirmed to me as obviously, the killer didn't know where her clothes were kept so they were just tearing the room up. I think Hiroaki tearing Harada's room apart to find his dope was foreshadowing of that.
Next the behaviour of Harada. Normally you could hear Sawa while he's there, even though its obvious the developers don't know what tigers sound like (They don't purr or meow, they make chuffing noises when content), and also whenever his sprite shows up, you cannot see the tiger tail in his bag. There's also his extreme distress upon finding Chiba's body as yes he was close to Chiba but so was Hama and while both boys were upset, Harada was even more in distress. Given he didn't react like at all when Osono was killed, it made me wonder if his crying wasn't just the cries of someone who lost a close friend, but tears of angrish, guilt and distress due to knowing their blood is on your hands.
This plus proof that Chiba made it up to the vents and she had Okazaki's gun, made me conclude that while the scientists were trying to make the humans paranoid, they forgot there was an animal there. And no matter how cute Sawa is, she is still a tiger. Tigers are wild animals, they are apex predators, and they are the number one cause of fatalities in zoos. In fact how Chiba got killed I think is the main reason people die to tigers, since the tigers are fed, they aren't attacking people to kill them, they just see that person as a toy to play with but since thy are so much stronger then a human, their rough play can easily cause severe damage and even death. Sawa just wanted to play with Chiba, but a tiger's idea of play is a bit too much for a human to handle. As due to Sawa's age she wouldn't have been hunting Chiba, tigers stay with their mothers for about 2 years. This was just play gone horribly wrong.
If you think I'm joking, I recall watching a documentary about a zoo in Florida which had to endure the worst hurricane session at the time, and one episode had a zoo keeper get severely injured by a black leopard cub. The cub of course was just playing, but their claws and teeth are so strong it causes serious injuries to the person in question.
Once I connected the dots, I knew this was gonna be a horrible case because by any sane person, Harada was innocent since it was Sawa who acted out and killed Chiba. But Sawa was owned by Harada, and thus if she killed Chiba, the masterminds would count Harada as the culprit. I wanted this to be so wrong...but unfortunately the evidence and instincts don't lie and I was able to make it 2/2, but at what cost? Especially as I really like Harada butttt I always suspected he was gonna bit the dust and his tiger was gonna be the reason why as its one thing to bring pets into a Killing Game. Its another thing to bring a freaking wild animal into the Killing Game. I had a horrid feeling Sawa was gonna cause something, but of course it had to be in the worst way possible.
I should also note that while both Hama and Harada were breaking down, they weren't the biggest ones as Timeline Anon went through the biggest meltdown I've seen ANY Danganronpa let's player do, as she was screaming that it doesn't count that Harada was innocent, it was Sawa who killed Chiba not him. And she claim this is the most unfair ruling ever as even if the Hibiki verdict was BS, at least Hibiki actually did kill Setsuka, even if she was under the puppet state. Harada didn't even touch Chiba.
Well I would say this is the second most BS ruling as The Mistake's Chapter 1 verdict was even worse because the culprit there gave the victim a poisoned coffee he didn't even know was poisoned due to the victim who was trying to kill everyone, forgot about.
Okazaki also seems to be a sociopath to me as she was willing to conduct some very unethical means to get results. She wanted to test Wada wasn't lying about being claustrophobic? Locked him into the bathroom stall until he had a panic attack, confirming he couldn't go up the vent. She then used the gun, which was her's to begin with, to shoot in thin air and cause Kamimura to pass out from shock to once again prove he couldn't have done it since the gun would have been too much for him. Yes these results helped but she didn't consider anyone's feelings at all which makes me question her morality as a person. I really hope she isn't the standard BS Chapter 3 Culprit but well...she's displaying red flags. Remember that Kanade displayed red flags in Chapter 2?
The execution is basically Chiaki's Danganronpa 3 execution and the way the scientists describe it, it really makes you hate them as the lead bitch behind this, yes she has a name but these motherfuckers don't deserve names so we aren't giving them any, is complaining about the executions not because they are cruel, but because she sees them as a waste of resources.
This then brings me to Part 2 of my chats with @spyrkle4 about the masterminds and I think I've come up with a solid theory on the purpose of the Killing Game and why despite everyone and their mother wanting them to all die horrible deaths, I think they will get away with everything. And its all down to motives.
Motives to me are the ways I see as figuring out the purpose of a Killing Game. Trigger Happy Havoc's were all temptations as Junko wanted to show the world even the "best of the world" could fall to their vices and become scum. Goodbye Despair's was all about trying to kill as many people as possible, since AI Junko wanted to take over their bodies. Killing Harmony's was about putting on a good show, since the game was entertainment for a brainwashed mass. Another Despair Academy's motives were all over the place, but since it was a test run of the Killing School Life, it was meant to see what motives stick and which ones didn't. SDRA2's purpose was to break Yuki so by making it so those close to him suffer, it would drive him down the deep end. And while Despair Time has only had one motive so far, I am confident the Mastermind just wants Teruko to die.
So with all that, the fact the motives are designed to push people to their limits until they break makes me believe this all a experiment into psychological warfare. Maybe the stability of the cast was chosen on purpose as if they can get the most sane people to crack, it would be very useful data. Now the question is; who's funding this? Well if its a experiment into psychological warfare this means its either a miltary secret project or and this is what I'm leaning more towards; an black ops project conducted by intelligence services.
After all we know the CIA and the KPD during the Cold War were VERY interesting in studying ways to control and break people down. This makes this even worse as this means this project most likely has govermental backing behind it. This explains why nobody will find the cast; they might have had their deaths faked in the outside world or they slienced the ones who care to go after them. And since this is a government project this also explains the funding issues, as they want results. Unfortunately this means even if the survivors make a stink about it, they are unlikely to get anyway as their memories might be wiped and they have a fake backstory to explain why they vanished, and the scientists get away with everything.
I know everyone wants them to die, but if the government is behind this, then unless a major revolution takes place, I severely doubt it. But I, Review Anon, will promise you something if the scientists become Karma Houdinis.
I have been writing the lore behind RA's character and one of the mysteries will be which universe did RA originate from. If they get away with everything, then I will make it a reality that Review Anon would have hailed from the Tetro Danganronpa Pink universe. And this reason this would be a case of getting justice is what I have planned...well...let's just say those scientists are gonna have a fate worse then death.
Much, MUCH WORSE.
Either way this is a amazing chapter even if it was highly emotional and kept me up until 2AM (thanks timezones), and I await with baited breath for the next chapter.

Some of the most genuinely accepting, kind, and supportive people I've met in my life are NSFW creators. I never quite pieced together why that was. Like I cannot overstate just how much I wouldn't have ever been able to keep myself alive, making what money I did from commissions; had it not been for the NSFW animation community around me.
People who took me in, explained things to me; helped me to learn and grow and treated me with genuine respect. I often talk about my experience as a Vtuber, and it's baffling to me because; Vtubers will backstab and sabotage each other if they think it will get them more viewers. Meanwhile I had people teaching me tricks to animation even if it meant I might get more commissions than them.
I think I've sort of figured it out after all this time, and it was only after talking to a lot of my fellow NSFW creators that I really think it clicked for me. Not one of us is free from the stigma, it doesn't even have to be purely negative; it just exists either way.
When I talk about working an inherently NSFW job or say that I've done adult animation and other adult entertainment work; people treat it like it's something horribly taboo. They become so fascinated by all my "crazy stories" that they refuse to accept how mundane it actually is. I use quotations there because I need you to understand that I don't ever tell people my stories are interesting. Hell I don't even tell people I have stories in the first place. I worked an animation gig for a while but no one ever cares about the actual art of animation. They care about who I may or may not know, what I may or may not have encountered with clients and such.
The second someone figures out what I've done to help pay the bills it becomes a sort of label they place on me. I'm no longer a complex and three dimensional individual like them; I'm the person who did adult entertainment. They want to hear all the weird people I encountered; and get annoyed with me when I point out that most of my clients are just normal people. They want to hear about all the crazy things that happened, only to be disappointed when I explain that it was really just a simple animation gig.
They don't care for the reality of it, they won't accept the reality of it. They want to believe all NSFW creators are these drooling horny messes of people who slobber all over their work with a raging hard-on the entire time. They dislike when I say that the thing we mostly talked about was genuinely just work, or new games that came out; or once we had a whole conversation about pizza toppings. A lot of my adult entertainment friends talk about things like a love for music, gaming, tv shows, cars, art, photography; whatever.
The thing is, we're all so stigmatized, so judged; so labeled. We have no room to stigmatize and in-fight with each other; rather we have each other's backs. The more NSFW art is accepted by the norm, the better it gets for all of us; and that's why when something NSFW hits it big and becomes popular and isn't immediately slandered with "yea but it's porn" it's a damn miracle.
I don't care if it's porn, it's literally art, it's something that someone put time and effort and care into making. An image that someone takes a look at for two seconds while crankin' their snake; took an artist hours if not days to make. There's no appreciation for the art there, and when you work in a medium like 3D animation, even if you work in something like Blender; no matter how skilled you are and how good the end result is. You're going to get the same "SFM Porn" stigma in the end, and you just kinda deal with it, because what else can you do?
I mean it when I say this, porn artists are like the retail workers of the world. No one appreciates them, people will always talk poorly about them; they don't make nearly enough money for their work (no matter how much they make) and yet everyone is happy they're around. If they went away people would surely notice, people would be mad; where would they go for porn if adult actors, animators, voice actors, artists, etc. all just stopped. However when it comes right down to it we're all looked down on, it's so stupid.

minecraft movie thoughts (or lack thereof)
I saw the Minecraft Movie trailer a few days ago and was disappointed. I've had some people tell me that I shouldn't have had high hopes for a movie about Minecraft, and I have had other people echo my sentiments. I have also been met with blank stares from people who have never heard of Minecraft. Generally I don't write a whole lot of original stuff online, mostly because I am not an expert or feel that there are other people who are much better spoken and informed than I am having conversations that I cannot add anything of value to. Also because I'm kind of shy lol. Minecraft, though, I consider myself to be somewhat of an expert on. I can talk about this with some degree of confidence. So, here's my take on the movie trailer:
The most obvious thing about the trailer is the animation style: It's the first thing you see. I'm guessing the production execs haven't actually played Minecraft or know anything about it beyond "block game that makes lots of money". They certainly don't know about the hundreds of beautiful Minecraft fan animations, or hell, even Minecraft story mode looked better than this. It seems like there is indecisiveness between committing to the aesthetic of blocks or going full live action. The attempt at realism do not merge well with the game being about blocks, and making the whole movie live-action is just a bad call for a movie about a block world. A movie fully animated in the style of Minecraft might seem kind of silly, and it is. Grab your propellor caps and comically oversized lollipops, because this movie is going to be a joke no matter what happens. Is it going to be a good joke? It doesn't seem likely.
The mobs are atrocious. Again, see the trailer. I don't feel the need to elaborate on their appearances. But seriously, what are Piglins and Ghasts doing in the overworld? Those are Nether mobs, and Piglins can't ride Ghasts. The trailer makes it seem like they are attacking the overworld, which is stupid. Piglins just want to trade for gold stuff. Gold spawns in the Nether. No reason to be in the overworld, other than to provide convenient plot I guess.
What is the plot of this movie? Usually trailers give some kind of idea of what the movie will be about, but all I really took away from it is that some real people got stuck in Minecraft and that also Jack Black is Steve? I don't have anything against the actors, but having real people get stuck in Minecraft is possibly the worst direction this movie could have gone in. As for Steve, he's usually represented in fan content as either the most boring dude ever, or a super strong god who destroys worlds in the blink of an eye. Steve is meant to be an avatar for the player, he is meant to be boring and generic. The movie completely betrays this, and Steve isn't even a protagonist.
Who are the protagonists? What are they doing in Minecraft? I don't know. I don't care. The trailer doesn't seem to care too much either, because it doesn't tell us anything about them or what their goals are or why we as an audience should give a shit. Are we going to watch a survival multiplayer server game in the movie? Because I could watch that on youtube, the only difference being that I would actually be invested in the story progression and world. Before multiplayer capacity was added to Minecraft, it was a single player game. It is, fundamentally, a game about finding your place in the world around you, surviving and creating and living. Adding these real life people into Minecraft really just annoys me. Aside from misunderstanding Minecraft overall, it feels like waiting for your sibling to be done on the computer so you can have your turn. These characters are clearly not meant to be engaging personalities who are very experienced at playing the game that audiences would enjoy watching, it would be more like watching noobs play a game you already know how to play. it's kind of funny for about 10 seconds and then it's just boring.
But I think there is potential for the Minecraft movie to be good. They just have to hire me, lol. I might be biased, but I have an idea for the Minecraft movie that I think is pretty cool. Obviously it would already be a lot better if they fixed the animation, but consider:
Steve grows up in a Minecraft village and always feels a little out of place. One day the village is attacked by zombies/skeletons/creepers, one of his friends becomes a zombie villager and Steve goes on an epic quest to find the cure (Golden apple + splash potion of weakness) to turn his friend back to normal.
That's it that's (the very simplified version of) my idea. I would love if the movie was actually good, but realistically it's going to be mediocre at best and I won't watch it because I am not going to pay to watch my childhood be disrespected like that. I'm kinda excited to see the reviews when it does come out though, those should be funny.

PIKMIN 4 STORY SPOILERS from stuff available in the demo :]
i've been reading up on some people's thoughts on 4's story and i'm kinda confused. Can people really not tell apart a retcon from an alt timeline? 4's story is very much meant to be taken with the rest of the series in mind, and i think that's only going to be more and more true as the game progresses. We can already get in the demo a Voyage log from Olimar where he dreams about 2's plot, which also directly references a log in 3 where Olimar dreams about 1's bad ending (obviously they didn't knew about 4's plot when writing that log, but there's definitely a parallel). I'm sure storywise AND gameplaywise, 4 will embrace creating parallels to the 'main' games. We've already seen in the demo how SO MANY little details pay homage to the first 3 games.
As for if it is a good decision, well that's way more personal... I definitely get being disappointed the story doesn't go further. But I see it as a great narrative choice for 2 reasons :
I always saw 3 as the finale of the main Pikmin story. For one it forms a trilogy which is just satisfying :] Second everything about it spells conclusion to me: the emphasis on story to wrap things up, playing new characters for the "new generation" trope, the stakes of the story, the role reversal of Olimar becoming the 'treasure' to rescue and the final boss itself. Not saying i would dislike seeing the story continued, but i simply think the main story arc is done. Koppai is saved and Olimar returns home safely against all odds. The shooting star at the end of 3's credits is symbolic - you get a glimpse of the story from the Pikmin's point of view : they're guardian angels always helping those in need. Even if the story repeats itself with more people crashing on the planet, this shows it'll always pan out the same - there's nothing left to explore or tell, aside from mysteries like the wraith's intentions, the nature of the Pikmin or of PNF404 itself... but the very essence of the Pikmin setting as an alien world mean we cannot get answers for everything.
i don't want the follow up to 3 to be about olimar crashlanding again lmfao. I've seen people say alt timelines like in Zelda are lazy... making Olimar crash on PNF404 after it's been shown he knows how to land there would either retcon the whole 2 arc, or tread on the old Pikmin 3 ground of "spooky mysterious force forces a crash", which imo feels way more lazy. It's also why i'd kinda really hate if it turns out it's not an alt timeline and takes place after 3... It would imply Olimar got amnesia, which is just... such a bad storytelling tool so far into a story. It's about as bad as the "conflict could get resolved if characters simply talked" story convenience. Would also not make sense since as of right now, Olimar has no reason to go back to PNF404 with the Dolphin (implied all debt would get paid back).
All these problems get solved with the alt timeline idea 4 got. We get to explore brand new ideas without having to go through redundant plot points or render previous arcs useless. We get to enjoy a new story with characters we like (hell, before the story got shown i was ready and embracing the thought of having a new game with no returning characters).
I didn't really intend to write an essay defending an unreleased game :P but more than just being inspired a lot by Pikmin, it does annoy me when people think video games can't have narratives more complex than just "repeat same story again and again" just for the sake of gameplay. I don't need deep stories (Pikmin's story is remarkably simple) but i deeply value cool set pieces, unique atmospheres and refreshing storytelling ideas.

Out of curiosity since you've mentioned The Legend of Zelda before, are there any of those games that you would reccomend? I've never played them before. I like Pokemon, Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts if that helps
RUBBING MY HANDS TOGETHER EVILLY. OKAY. SO. i don't know anything about final fantasy or kingdom hearts unfortunately but i CAN take a wild guess and say that if you like pokémon there's a higher chance that you're a fan of 2D games because a good majority of fans are in agreement that pokémon was better when it was 2D. in which case. let me put this under a readmore so people who aren't interested in zelda don't get annoyed lmao:
first of all i have to recommend my favorite game in the legend of zelda series ever which is the minish cap. it's definitely the most polished 2D zelda game out there (aside from four swords adventures but that was on a home console not a handheld) and all the spritework is SO good and cute and filled with whimsy and does actually remind me of pokémon. and the soundtrack is an absolute banger AND it isn't a terribly long game at all so it can serve as a great little introduction for people getting into zelda. a couple other fun 2D zelda games (and these will probably appeal more to people who are fans of the original rby/gsc because of the style) are link's awakening (which does have a switch remake) and oracle of ages!!! oracle of seasons was fun to me but most people agree that oracle of ages was much More fun. if you want more of what the majority of the zelda series is about there's a link to the past, which was released in 1991 (so before pokémon) and features link, zelda, and ganon, who are all the Main Three of the games.
aside from that, if the 3D games interest you, a link between worlds (successor to alttp but you don't have to play it to understand what's going on) is REALLY good with a KILLER fucking soundtrack. spirit tracks is wonderful and you ride in a train the whole game for people who are ingo & emmet fans. ocarina of time is probably the most influential zelda game out there aside from a link to the past and in certain games (wind waker [sailing on the ocean!] and majora's mask [THE TIME LOOP GAME OF ALL TIME]) some things will go directly over your head if you don't play ocarina of time first. skyward sword is fucking AWESOME and i cried like a baby at the end of it.
and. this is just me personally but i cannot stress this enough. avoid breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom like the fucking plague. if you do play them you cannot think of them as zelda games. they're alright games for people who like them i guess but they're genuinely the worst fucking ZELDA games in the franchise. i am so serious about this. i'm trying to make my way through breath of the wild right now (previously i'd just watched a playthrough) and it is legitimately so fucking boring and the soundtrack is GODAWFUL. pokémon legends arceus did everything 100000x better than breath of the wild absolutely no argument. and even diehard breath of the wild fans were disappointed with tears of the kingdom which should tell you everything you need to know.
ANYWAY. tl;dr: play minish cap, link's awakening, or oracle of ages if you want some fun 2D games (very easily accessible on an emulator or homebrewed 3DS, or nintendo switch for link's awakening remake). play a link to the past (easily accessible on an emulator) or ocarina of time (has a 3DS remake; opens up the door to gain a better understanding of wind waker and majora's mask*) if you want the Classic Zelda Storyline to understand what's kind of going on everywhere else. play a link between worlds (3DS) or skyward sword (wii or nintendo switch) if you want a good 3D game where things are less likely to fly over your head.
*majora's mask and wind waker can very easily still be played without playing ocarina of time! there are just some things in the game that'll woosh straight over your head if you haven't played them. also okay that's a lie about wind waker being easily accessible because it's only available on the nintendo gamecube or wiiu BUT majora's mask does have a 3DS remake just like ocarina of time so if you've homebrewed a 3DS you're good to go on that end. OKAY i'm done

More Riddler asks cuz I like your insight.
Which of the four Arkham Games did Ed the best?
Hard one between City or Origins. But probably City lol. Only because compared to Origins, Ed is "featured in it more" - hell, he's even the face of the challenges you can do aside from story mode. Which, imo, is pretty awesome. Aside from having, perhaps the best, Riddler design in any media (I've explained why it's so good on my personal) But the characterization was pretty darn good, too. He had a good mix of being taken seriously / being seen as threatening and still having some comedic relief. For example, Eddie telling his men he could take on Batman himself (but clearly can't.) The hostages actually show how frightened they were of Riddler, how dangerous he is (literally stabbing somebody in a leg for not doing what he wanted) And just his whole atmosphere - how he's still mysterious as you only see him on screens... but it's very little. Like usually you only see him if you go to save a hostage (versus Knight where he's just CONSTANTLY talking regardless what you're doing.) Eddie has some pretty cool renders in loading screens and on the challenges menu screens.
I'm gonna start comparisons of him in City versus him in Knight. Why he's much better in City, why I prefer him in City, and why Knight is the worst depiction of Eddie in the four games. (It's no secret on this blog I'm highly critical of Knight's depiction - and how I think it's heavily overrated amongst the fandom)
You see, in Knight... they notched up the comedic relief on him to a 10. In City, you can hear a thug saying, "doesn't that Riddler freak have anything better to do than leave question marks around?" or something very similar to that. Sure, this can be considered a thug being disrespectful of Riddler, but it's also to show the thug simply doesn't understand Riddler - like he doesn't understand what the question marks really are. (That they're something smaller to something much grander) This fits in accordance to the fact Riddler has some mystery to him, he's an enigma the employees cannot understand. Meanwhile in Knight, there's at least two audios (maybe more) of the thugs literally making fun of Eddie. Some implying he's very annoying and wanting him to shut up, and one even saying he's funny. The mystery is gone - Eddie's just somebody to laugh at now rather than being confused by. And plus Ed himself makes a lot more jokes, too. His game over screens had no "jokes" in them, just Eddie having this childlike joy in his voice when Batman loses - which actually made Eddie even more intimidating to see the genuine glee he takes in this. Meanwhile, in Knight, there's a game over screen where Ed expresses his genuine shock that he won - before quickly going "oh yeah, of course. haha." Which, YES - it could be a genuine game over screen commenting on the fact that Riddler finally won after four games. Buuuuut... with the literal goons making fun of Eddie, and practically every other character in this game? It just feels like another "Eddie is pathetic" joke. Especially when all these comments / jokes were used far less in City.
Ed also just tells a lot more jokes that doesn't involve him being "pathetic" either - but still makes it hard to take Ed seriously. As much as I do love it, there's the "mating" joke where he said he'll be mating Batman, then quickly realizing how wrong that sounded. There's him talking about how he's the perfect chef to the point he can make the perfect salad or whatever. And just many more jokes about him being oblivious to how "egotistical" he's being, or whatever. Which yeah, some of these jokes are fitting for Ed's character - as said, some of them were told in City. But the issue becomes when Ed's more jokes than he is serious characterization. I am willing to bet there are more jokes / humorous scenes with Eddie in Knight than there are serious ones. And it highly disappoints me, given that I really dislike depictions where Ed's just a joke and/or seen as pathetic amongst the cast.
Eddie was also far more "stereotypical" in Knight. Like they also turned up his nerdiness + pretentiousness. Which the easiest example of showing this would be, again, to demonstrate with the game over screens.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In City, Eddie still speaks relatively like a real person. He insults people's intelligence, but only by comparing them to animals (or using slurs) The biggest word he uses in these is "primitive." And he doesn't really speak in geek or explain anything here.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
See? Compared to the above, he's become much more pretentious. First saying it was a "statistical certainty" - get it? He studied the statistics and knew there was no way he'd lose - the statistics said so! Or the fuckgingngng "Expert Consummate in its Ideal Preparation Methods" what a mouthful! Like Eddie didn't really talk like this in City - but he does in Knight. More examples of him being Rick Sanchez now is also him making fun of religious people (pretty sure he never did that in City) as well as him saying the, ugh, Love is just a ChEmIcAl ReAcTiOn!!! I'm above it!!!! (🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮) Which Eddie in City didn't behave in such a way. At least from all the scenes I can remember (and I have been watching my brother replay City recently, and he got pretty far sooo)
Anyway, Eddie in City was a well rounded character who was mysterious, intimidating, sometimes funny, and sometimes even creepy. In Knight, he's been flanderized, and turned into a complete comedic relief that not even any goon can take seriously. And I had to bring up the bad in Knight to point out how much better Eddie in City was. Knight's design doesn't help. I don't care what anyone says about it being proof he's spiraling into a depression - I don't see it as that. It's just a mechanic design to match the fact that he does race tracks now, and Knight was a more vehicle mission based game compared to the previous installments. You can do Eddie being desperate to beat Batman and spiraling into a depression without turning him into a joke, too.
Origins Eddie is a runnerup, and miiight be just as good as City Ed. Because like City Ed, he was mysterious - hell, to the point where you ONLY see his face if you get a game over screen, or renders outside of the story. Origins Eddie also highly inspired my depiction of Ed, where I got the idea that Ed would see himself as the "good guy." Origins Eddie also had the best pre-Riddler concept of him working at the GCPD in the cybercrime unit. It shows Eddie's intellect without making him a scientist (generic concept for genius characters) and also shows how good he's with computers. Also irony, as he used to work at the police station. Also Eddie, before he was even Riddler, when Batman basically just started, was ALREADY suspecting Bruce was Batman (they should've continued with that imo rather than doubling down on his patheticness in Knight) and the boy got away in the end - he wasn't even there to arrest when you find his location. Reminds me of the ending in Riddler's debut episode from the Animated Series! Very cool! PLUS. PLUS. Origins Eddie had an original design that was different from the iconic Riddler look, all while still feeling like Eddie / something he'd wear. (Unlike Knight Eddie)
Anyway, this got VEEERY long - but I'm a bit more passionate about Arkham Eddie than some Eddies you've asked about. Or, at least, there's just more for me to talk about regarding it than there is, say, regarding 2004 Eddie

What I'm Watching: November 2023
The Fall of the House of Usher
Tumblr media
Sycrhjodxfhbaudiffebuvehtxt I'm obsessed with this show. So far, this is the first and only Mike Flanagan adaptation where I was familiar with the source material already, and it was a fucking BLAST playing Spot The Reference. Additionally, the conclusion of the rave scene has been burned into my memory ever since and I cannot for the life of me get it out of my head, in the best and worst way possible. Sooooooo good, but oh my fucking god. And it's been a long time coming, but this series has elevated Carla Gugino for me to Rachel Weiss meme status. You know the one I'm talking about. I just.... THIS SHOW IS SO FUCKING GOOD. The writing, the story, the performances, the cinematography, the scares, the all of it. It's split down the middle between stuff you can point and go "ha! I knew it!" and stuff you just can't see coming, and it's all top tier. I typically need a cool down period to recover after most Flanagan stuff, but I'm just itching to get back to this one as soon as possible. Is a good amount of that just me thirsting over Verna? Well, yeah. It's pretty much Gugino's show, and everyone else merely appears in it. Actually, that's not fair. Everyone involved not only fucking went for it, they fucking nailed it. This is Mike's last run with Netflix, and by god, the whole team went out with a bang.
Cowboy Bebop (2021)
Tumblr media
Let me start by saying that my post mentioning how much I wanna bang Spike went as viral as things tend to go on this blog, so I'm glad that resonated with some folks. 😂 I'll admit, I have a lot less nostalgia for the anime as a lot of the audience for this, having only seen it twice, but as far as adaptations go, this was perfectly okay. As someone pointed out already on one of my posts, it's a lot less existential than the OG, and therefore a lot less heavy. And since all I wanted out of this was a good time, I was happy with it. I was EXTREMELY happy with the opening credits in particular. My stance on adaptations in general is that if a piece can stand on its own merit, I don't care how closely it adheres to the source material, and in my opinion, the live action succeeds. In fact, my one and only complaint is...not enough Ein!
Anne With An E
Tumblr media
The books stay in my reading rotation, so despite my philosophy on adaptations, I had very high expectations going into this several years late, don't worry about it. And...I was not disappointed. I ended up crying over almost every episode, and that never happens, so... 😅 It's so sweet and I was charmed from the get-go. I've still got a season left, and since it seems to be doing its own thing apart from the books now, I'm really looking forward to it. I'm also dreading it, because I'm not ready for it to be over. Then again, that's how it feels finishing the books as well, so that's only how it should be.
Five Nights At Freddy's
Tumblr media
Lemme tell you, I've known jack shit about FNAF aside from "evil Chuck E. Cheese" for years now. I've had the tags filtered for almost as long as I've been on Tumblr (I love the people I follow, but I gotta curate my experience). I've made it my mission to go as long as I can without knowing anything at all about this franchise if for no reason other than it's fucking e v e r y w h e r e and I was sick of the overexposure. But now because a relative of an acquaintance of a family friend was one of the cannon fodder characters, I got roped into watching this and my streak is broken. I can't unknow what I know about this franchise. Which I'm extra annoyed about, considering what the creator of the games tends to put his royalties towards. 😑 From a film standpoint, it's fine. I'm not sure what age range the target demographic is, but having the horror stuff happen off screen made it feel more vanilla than the average episode of Supernatural, and I'll let that speak for itself. The look and atmosphere were exactly what I'd imagine if told to picture an evil Chuck E. Cheese, the animatronics are appropriately creepy (though let's be honest, it doesn't take much to make ANY animatronic creepy), and I was a little surprised and impressed with the soundtrack. And it was nice to see Josh Hutcherson in something new, though it's still so odd seeing him as an adult. I'm most familiar with him as a kid in RV, and holy fuck, I feel old looking at him now. I could have used a little more Matthew Lillard--why would you get Matty Lilly in your movie and then NOT do something with him?!--but given the character/story/what have you, I get it. One plot point in particular didn't stick the landing, as far as I'm concerned. In an effort to tie up all loose ends, it made things too contrived in a "that's convenient but now it makes less sense" kind of way. Don't know if that's how it goes in the game, and I don't care enough to find out. All in all, I've seen worse, I still don't get the hype, and I'm still not the target audience. And that's perfectly okay.
Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet Of Curiosities
Tumblr media
A horror anthology? With GDT?? Sign me up yesterday! I don't think there was a single episode I didn't like. And I wasn't prepared to recognize so many names in the credits. Actors, directors, composers, authors, you name it. And it was fun! The stories were bizarre, assorted creature designs were gnarly, and whatever else was going on with the vibes episode to episode, they all felt consistently creepy and sinister. "The Autopsy" has the distinction of being one of the few things I've watched that almost made me puke. "Pickman's Model" was the first thing to freak me out bad enough I stayed awake to get it out of my head in a Very Long Time. "The Viewing" was the only ending that felt unfinished, it was so abrupt, but the style and aesthetic was so *chef kiss* I'll overlook it. (Side note: that episode's director also did Mandy, which I've been meaning to get to for awhile now? Hoo hoo, have I got some visuals to look forward to!) I knew as soon as I saw Jennifer Kent did an entry that hers was going to be my favorite, and that's not even coming from a biased place. "The Murmuring" is beautiful and heartbreaking. Easily my favorite aspect of the series is how you get a sense of each individual director's style BUT the entries themselves are so flavored with GDT, the whole thing stays cohesive. Now all I can do is hope for another season. :D

can i just rant a little bit about ace attorney 6? And this is completely my subjective opinion so feel free to disregard but OH MY GODDDDD
Tumblr media
you're telling me this fucker is a DUDE? I was SO fucking excited to finally have another female prosecutor because it's been a real sausage-fest since franziska (my bbg) but NOPE. it's just a TWINK >:( And he's a DICK TOO
so far he's just really insufferable even moreso than most of the prosecutors are. I just cannot stand his self-righteous religious schtick. Maybe it's my general disdain for organised religion as a whole but his personality does NOT help. Smug fucker. (admittedly his bitch-ass personality does make smacking his arguments down all the more satisfying (something that Klavier seriously lacked due to his general agreeableness IMO which is why he's my least favourite prosecutor) but still there are levels to this and he is at the top of the smug fucker list. maybe this will change as I play further but first impressions are not great)
the closest we've gotten to a female prosecutor since franziska was Justine Courtney (or whatever her localised name is) and she was great but the AAI rivals just don't scratch that same court-fight itch so you can understand why i was hyped upon seeing a feminine looking figure on the cover art for a mainline game. Ugh idk this whole rant is just about me being disappointed that we don't get another lady to verbally spar with tbh but the guy is also just really annoying
probably a controversial post but meh. I stand by my opinions (at least for now, we'll see how his character develops throughout the game (i'm only at the start of 6-3 rn so don't spoil me thanks))

Today has been so annoying. I woke up too early because Sky, my cat, made noise. He makes noise almost every morning. And that's okay because we put him out in the night because he attacks our feet the whole night if we let him.
Daniel woke up and stopped me from opening the door for Sky. He told me that he will "take care" of the situation and that I should rest. Which was sweet. But, he spent most of his time in the toilet and Sky was left meowing the whole time.
So, I naturally woke up. Daniel has been annoying me since the past couple of days more so than how he usually does. But, I've been trying to keep cool. Last night he came home sweating and decided to wipe his sweat on me pretending to kiss. This would've been funny or cute if not for the fact that I already told him not to do it before.
Another instance was when I tried to turn on the geyser for having a shower, and went to have a bath, the hot water stopped midway. Turns out he turned the switch off. That had me come out in the middle of my shower to dry myself and again wait for the water to up so I could have my shower. When I finally was having my shower, he decides to pop in and ask "You are going to the shower now?! The geyser has been on the whole time!" Like, it is just so annoying.
And most of the times when he is at home, he does not make efforts to spend time with me. And when I try to confront him with that, he says that he spends a lot of time with me, taking me out and stuff. The truth is we hardly went out on dates in the last couple of months. It was always with his friends. And I most of the time feel weird because his friends are annoying. And I think he enjoys their company more than he does with me. I'm sure he will tell that it is not the case, but he just smiles so much more with them. He will also make every effort to go out with them. More so than he does with me. I have to literally create an issue out of us not going on dates for him to make time for us. He thinks he spends enough time with me because he takes me along whenever he meets his friends. But, I want to have one on one time with him!
Anyway, cut to today, after coming home, he went to the washroom like 4 times! He poops like all the time! It's not like oh I'm pooping once for 40-50 mins. It's like this everyday where he spends 2-3 times in the washroom. Does he find that spot a safe zone for him? I dot even know at this point.
He even forgot to turn on the exhaust after doing his deed. Also forgot to close the washroom door. The whole house was stinking! So bad. It took every ounce of my patience to not scold him. The whole time I was trying to deal with his poop stinking up the house, he decided to take rest in his room. I put Sky in the room with him. I had the windows and the door open so that the smell goes away. He decides to open the door right then. He knows we cannot let the doors and the windows be open with Sky in the house. Again, I was so disappointed in him, I was so frustrated. After all that, he decides to go to the washroom again.
After spending time in the washroom, he didn't bother to talk to me or ask me to do anything. He just went to his wardrobe and decided to organise his drawers. It was almost night by then. He then asks if I wanted to play a board game, and for which by then I was already tired and in no mood of doing so.
I thought I could use my laptop. But my laptop shut down and I couldn't charge it because Daniel decided to drop MY charger at his workplace and forgot to bring it back. It was the only charger we had because he lost my original one and had to replace it with his. Because of that I couldn't use my laptop the whole day.
Later, I found worms in the window sill. Most likely larves of some kind of moth. I had to take care of all of it, while Daniel decides to watch TV. I was googling and taking videos and he was still laying on the bed watching TV. When I asked him if I could use his phone to take a video of it so I could post it on social forums to get a confirmation on what it was, I asked him to send the original to my phone. He sent it in doc formand I had issues trying to use it and pot it online because reddit does not accept documents from Google to be directly shared. He decided to take it and mansplain me how things worked and was like "look it's all done", when in reality NOTHING was done. The same problem persisted. And I had to direct him what to do yo get the problem resolved. And he has an MBA and can't manage a simple problem. Ugh.
Anyway, Daniel has been getting on my nerves each day. I am holding it all in because he provides for me and Sky. Bit, I need him to do things or atleast say things that will soothe me. Be of more help and take charge or situation, or atleast help me in things that worry me. He just rests, poops and watches TV when things are bothering me. He just doesn't step up when I want him to.

i do think the max0r videos are funny but i completely understand thats not for everyone. humor is subjective and i havent played any of the games he makes videos about and i get that if you like something and want to share the love then a guy low-key or high-key making fun of the game isnt what youre up for
its just dumb because those things all have the same game tag so yt assumes thats what you want
algorithms are a plague upon mankind
suddenly lucilius is making a lot of sense
i genuinely don't know the guy so i'm not judging him on his content and all honestly
but ff15 is overhated ever since its releases and you cannot say anything positive about this game without hate coming your way because people need to complain
the screenshot was just because it happened to be this one video coming my way, but it's not the only video that does that. Every single time i rewatch a sad scene from ff15 i get hundred of videos rec about "here's why ff15 was a massive disappointment" "here's why ff15 sucks" "here's why ff15 was so bad"
so i have genuinely no reason to give any second of the day to another creator popping up on my recommendation telling me ff15 is bad, even if it's to make an humorous point. Like wow........ you think ff15 is bad..... so groundbreaking...... you're truly a free thinker...... no one ever had this opinion in their lives before....... as if there hasn't been constant content about how bad ff15 is those past 8 years.... as if ff16 didn't do its whole communication on "we're not going to be bad like ff15 🥰".... truly your opinion on it is very unique and i'm sure will bring a totally new light on the game....... you convinced me 8 years later.....
it wouldn't piss me off nearly as much if it wasn't for the fact that hearing all those negative takes on the game genuinely had me stall if for years because it turned me off from it, only to give it a shot after i dreamed about it out of nowhere (this happens a lot with me, fictions show up in dreams begging me to pay attention to them and who i am to deny it), and despite coming in expecting all the flaws i've heard about, i had such an emotional journey with this game that really little game can properly compare to that it genuinely pissed me off even more that i even gave a second of credit to the mass mob blowing up the flaws of the game to the point of ignoring the way it still is a beautiful game, even if it's a flawed one.
so you can imagine on my hand, just looking out for some scenes that really impacted me on youtube, to just have Youtube telling me "huh... but don't you know the game is bad? here, let me show you. the game is bad. why are you crying. We said it's bad. Here's a funny video about why it's bad. because it's really ridiculous you're crying really. don't you know the mass is always right." like god.
but i'm all with you on the fact algorithm are a fucking plague and it's really just very annoying when you're into something that's like vaguely controversial because you can't just be enjoying it in your corner. Algorithm will be so desperate to feed you more stuff to keep you hooked on the platform it'll just throw you things that drive engagement. And negativity engages people more than positivity.
Anyway i've always been team "Lucilius is right" (my only issues with Lucilius is how he treats his primals, aside from that i'm totally 100% supportive of his motivation that both god and the world suck)
but istg i have this long beef with Youtube on that regard (you'll notice the post i reblogged to add the screenshot is from 2021, in which i was complaining about something i was already experimenting for years). This is not a small term irritation. It's been my nemesis for too long. this is a burning hate that will never waver. they made me this way.

Your context is exactly what I'm saying. It's not true by any means. It's all misinformations. Ubisoft is trying to rewrite history and that's why they're silencing Japanese people who are talking against this game on internet. They even changed the name "Samurai" in Japanese version because they knew it's not true.
Look at some comments from Japanese people:
— Because of you, some people overseas now believe that Yasuke, a black man, was a samurai who significantly impacted Japanese history. This has led to a harmful trend of black supremacists claiming that samurai originated from black people and that Japanese culture is essentially black.
AI-generated images of black samurai are now being spread as if they were historical facts. This is a very serious offense.
— We cannot accept the blurring of lines between fiction and reality.
While Japanese people are very tolerant of creative works, we cannot simply ignore the fact that our country's history is being distorted or grossly misunderstood by so-called historians who are careless about the truth. It is clear that Yasuke was not a samurai but rather a retainer of Nobunaga Oda.
Please understand.
— Oh my god! That shitty white woman in the UBi game was so condescending when she said, "They used to behead people all the time in Japan back then! (So barbaric!)" I rewatched it so many times. If they're going to portray Japan like that, they should at least release the original version in Japan, too!
— They told us that beheading was a daily occurrence in Japan, and now they’re telling us we can't do it in the Japanese version? I distinctly remember players were able to slice through enemies in Tsushima. So, changing "legendary samurai" to "fearless warrior" is the extent of your "modifications"? That’s just double-speak.
— Not content with just one fabricated theory, now they say that beheading is worse than gore? There are no records of a black "samurai" outside of that one fabricated paper. It's annoying how other countries take Assassin's Creed seriously, even though it's supposed to be historically accurate, especially with this Z rating and all the changes. It's different from the previous game. I don't have a problem with the concept, but the changes are in the wrong places.
— You're just trying to add fuel to the fire.
— Okay, I get it. So Ubisoft is trying to divide Japan and the rest of the world, huh? You want us Japanese to just sit back and let Westerners rewrite our history? Ubisoft is a terrible company.
— Of course, the overseas version is probably going to romanticize Yasuke as a 'legendary samurai,' aren't they?
— The product description on Amazon is severely lacking. I have already reported this issue, but please ensure that you address it properly. If you fail to do so, I will report this matter to the Consumer Affairs Agency, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and other relevant authorities.
— I've been a long-time fan of the Assassin's Creed series and have purchased all previous titles. However, I've decided to wait and see before purchasing Shadows. While I was excited for a Japanese setting, the recent controversies have made it difficult for me to fully enjoy the game. It's disappointing.
— We wanted the Japanese version to be equal in terms of diversity.
Here's a Japanese man who talked many times about this game and everytime they took his video down because he was telling the truth about his own history. Click here to watch the video. He was also called racist by Americans/westerns just because he was telling his own history. As if you guys know our own history better than ourselves. Like I hate it when western trying to tell me my own history which I grow up reading about. I'm not Japanese but I'm Persian and western tried many time to tell me my own history and rewrite it.
Also @nightmaregiver is an Asian and they agree with me.
Also there's a rumors that they're going to delete Yasuke from the game because of the backlash and the fact that it's not historical accurate.
Ubisoft is a horrible company and they did the same with the prince of Persia. Another game that faces backlash and flop. And I'm so happy that they're closing.
STOP SPREADING MISINFORMATIONS. YOU JUST MAKE YOURSELF LOOK STUPID. Because the only place that a black samurai or black Cleopatra hold an argument is in the west (and not even there most of the time if people are actually educated). And it's because of White Saviors and Afrocentrics. Who lie because of their feelings. And I'm sorry if I sound harsh but it's true.
West need to fucking stop doing this shit!
This is not a samurai. This is not a Persian.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And this is clearly not Cleopatra.
Tumblr media
How about y'all actually make something about actual black people? How about y'all make something about Muhammad Ali? Or someone else. We have enough black legends. You don't have to take other people's culture and history. Stop doing this shit. You made Persians mad, you made Egyptians mad and now you're pissing off Japanese.

A Woman's Touch Preview
Summary: Julianna was Tyrion Lannister daughter from a random whore, she was as what others say a replica of the late Lady Joanna Lannister. But little Juli wasn't t just a simple child, no she was made for something greater. Even thou she was a bastard Tyrion still took Julianna in, in an attempt to ire his father, the great lion Tywin Lannister. And add to that, King Robert Baratheon legitimized her just to annoy the old lion.
Watch as how she changed the Game of Thrones.
(Warning: Game of Thrones literally is a warning itself, but this story consist of incest, murder, manipulation, death, etc.
A/N: So I'm a newbie author and English is not my first language. So don't expect anything great. This is merely to satisfy my Tywin Lannister obsession. And I'm not really that familiar with how the court works in GoT and I'm also not that in depth towards it's lore, so please forgive me should I mistake something, and do tell me so I could correct it.)
Tumblr media
"A woman carry a life that could change history itself, so why is it that we are seen less. When it was from our womb that gave life to all."
"I'll show you grandfather that a woman isn't just for child bearing."
"oh poor unfortunate father, given how smart you are you still failed to realize that grandfather has replaced you. The child that I carry will be the heir to Casterly Rock."
"Joffery, my dear boy, do not be foolish. I am your aunt we cannot marry. My love, look at me you will not disappoint me. Do you understand?"
"You may be queen but I have the love of Tywin Lannister."
"I am capable of many things even kinslaying."
"You do not know the misery I have experienced in slums, so please forgive me should I do anything to make sure my children never experience what I have experienced."
"When you first brought me here I was imagining the life I will have with my father, but your constant drinking and debauchery has lowered my expectations."
"Don't expect big things you'll only disappoint yourself."
Tumblr media
"Your needle work has greatly improved." Tywin said as he entered my solar. He walked up near me and sat at the nearest chair. Given that I was sitting on the floor with soft wool underneath me, I had to really look up towards him.
"It's been the same, grandfather." I said with a slight glare. He merely sighed, in which I turned back to my stitching. "Dare I ask where is father?"
"Probably whoring his way in some brothel." He answered with clear annoyance and disgust in his tone.
"Have you ever been in any brothel, grandfather?" I asked with real curiosity. Given how proud the old lion was, my guess is he never did, and if he ever did it won't be for pleasure as he is always about business.
He hummed, and seemingly contemplated for a moment but he didn't answer my question.
But I knew the truth, Tywin Lannister isn't so different from Tyrion Lannister when it comes to carnal desires.
