One thing i particularly enjoy about souvenir pop is 80s sound which i also talked about concerning Stephanie. I hear it in lips and mesto duhov aswell, these have an almost post-punk like sound (and Stephanie sounds more new wave to me). And i THOROUGHLY enjoy this. I think it was Nace who mentioned that he really enjoyed the synth-y 80s sounds and that they were playing around with that and i am SO very thankful for that i am LIVING.

technology was just kinda overlapping you know, you didn't really stop using one kind only because there was a newer one. i used both my walkman and discman for years depending on what i wanted to listen to. some stuff was on cassette and some stuff was on cd.

that said the invention of mp3 players was a blessing. no more tangled tape. no more audio hickups on bumpy roads. the only enemy was the 256mb storage limit

y'all, I told the only friend I hadn't come out about being proship to that I am anti-censorship and how fictional content is different from irl predatory behavior towards real people and all the stuff and he didn't even bat at eye at it, he just agreed. even though he's been an anti for years ( not sending people hate or violent comments, just complaining to friends in private about dislike, which I always used to agree with until some other friends changed my mind )

but you know you and your friend BOTH got bpd when one goes 'so actually I changed my mind about (x) because (x)' and your friend goes 'YEAH THAT SOUNDS RIGHT' and that's the end of it, no conflict, just agreement.

asldkj honestly that is SUCH a load off my shoulders. 😭

maybe soon I'll be able to use my main blog freely again like the old tumblr days too. but I really do love the space and sense of community I've built here and I don't intend to leave this blog any time soon because I'm happy here and I've learned a lot and I want to keep learning. 💜
