Seasonal depression is back….
So if it’s possible can I request something fluffy with any of the boyfriends (I love them all). Giving you full creative control right now because my mind is blank and I just wanna cry.
With the day I've had, I just wanna go home and play my f12010 game while my cat sits on my lap. But I can't do that because I'm on the other side of the country and I've developed an allergy to my cat. So, this is kinda based around that (the wanting to play my old game)
(I'll be doing something similar to this later in Keep On Rolling so this is more me just me... practicing?)
Tumblr media
Y/N let out a yawn, her tired eyes focused on the loading screen of F12023. "I feel like I should have Max as my teammate," she said to her stream. "I don't think we'll be teammates any other way."
On the other half of the screen, Max let out a laugh. "Schat, we'll have a meeting with Christian and he'll have to make you my teammate," he said as he raced the virtual Red Bull around the Yas Marina circuit.
What nobody knew was that they were just a room away from each other.
"Why don't you and Max just race together?" Y/N read out from the chat. "Well Max is basically addicted to sim racing and he's in a proper rig so it's not entire fair.
The chat suddenly began demanding that the two of them race together.
"Okay, fine!" Y/N said after a moment. "Max, I'm inviting you to my party."
There was a good few minutes before she and Max managed to go multiplayer. They were both in Red Bulls, almost on equal terms. The only differences was the equipment they were using and the level of experience the both of them had.
Y/N and Max raced through the streets of Monaco as they streamed. Y/N had qualified first. She had Max just behind her, insisting that he did it on purpose, that it was intentional. Max had his sim rig while Y/N had a simple, bog standard, controller.
"What do I get if I win?" Max asked as they waited for qualifying to finish and for the race to start.
"The honour of winning?" Y/N suggested.
For a full minute, Max stared at her on the other side of his screen. For a full minute, Y/N was trying to work out what he wanted. And then she got it.
"Ew, Max! We're not discussing this over stream!"
But it wasn't a no, and Max's smirk indicated he knew that.
They raced, Y/N losing first place to Max almost immediately. Their games glitched several times, but the both of them managed to get their places back (not without threatening to rage quit, Y/N almost throwing her controller at the screen).
As soon as the face was finished and Max and Y/N watched their virtual selves of the podium, Max disappeared from his screen. He reappeared on Y/N's screen, wrapping his arms around her as he pulled her up from her gaming chair.
"I can't believe you won with me on pole," she mumbled as Max kissed her, pressing her against the desk.
"Terrible, I know. Now turn off the stream and let me collect my winnings."
So Y/N turned off her screen as Max attacked her with kisses, his facial hair tickling her skin. She let out a shriek of laughter as he picked her up and placed her on the bed.
Unknown to the both of them, Max's stream was still on in the other room. They thought nothing of having their door open as they giggled and moaned at each others touches.

To Clarify:
From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free and if you disagree with that statement in any capacity fuck you, I will block you. Matter of fact, unfollow me! I haven't really gotten the chance to make a full statement about this on this platform because I've been busy, and I apologize for that, but I had the time to go through my following today and I realized that I definitely needed to block some motherfuckers.
While I'm here, fuck Neil Drunkmann and everything he stands for. I enjoy TLOU, and while I can't take back any purchases that I made in regard to the game before I knew he was a fucking Zionist, I will not be buying anything else. Fuck that remaster. I'm glad that multiplayer got canceled. I won't stop making the audios that I do, but I just wanted to make it clear that while I still enjoy the fan content and the community that enjoying the game has given me access to, I in no way plan to support literally anything that man does, now or in the future. Anyone supporting the literal genocide of a people is a horrible fucking person and I'm atheist, but I strongly believe that you will rot in the pits of Hell if you think that any of what the Israeli government/the IDF is doing is okay.
And please don't come to me with that "Oh why are you being political" bullshit. This is a straight up violation of humans rights. And if you expected a black lesbian sex worker to be anything but political/socially aware, I don't know what to tell you. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Allright allright, I think I'm ready now...
TF2 COMIC 7
Saying "I loved it" would be an understatement. It was PERFECT, the perfect ending we deserved. It's been seven goddamn years, I honestly didn't think this issue would ever be released. I started getting into tf2 only recently, about a year ago I think. I hope everyone who've been there from the beginning are happy.
This last issue gave us SO MANY THINGS ! A TIME SKIP WITH THE MERC'S FUTURE ! I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ALL GOT THE "THEY GOT HOME AND BUILT FAMILIES AND REUNITE FOR CHRISTMAS" TYPE OF FUTURE THAT LITERALLY ALL FANFICS ARE ABOUT. SINGLE DAD SCOUT IS THE GREATEST CHARACTER DEVELOPPEMENT POSSIBLE.
WE ALSO GOT LITERALLY EVERYTHING WE WERE HOPING FOR. WE GOT UNMASKED SPY, WE GOT PAULING'S FIRST NAME, WE GOT SCOUT'S LAST NAME, SCOUT WITH AN UGLY HAIRCUT, WE EVEN GOT PYRO'S DOG AND MEDIC'S BABOON, TOM JONES IS BACK. ALSO HEAVY HAS A BEARD NOW, AND SOLDIER AND ZHANNA HAVE CHILDREN !!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
there are of course still unanswered things. However, the fact that the Administrator forgot why she wanted revenge on Mann really adds to her character and the overall story. Also, it seems that Scout still odesn't know that Spy is his father, since he introduces himelf to Scout's children as Scout's coworker... Scout's ma is also noticably absent, I do not want to think about it too much, since Demo's mother is still alive, there is no reason she wouldn't be as well. We're gonna say that she's spending Christmas with another son, since she doesn't really take an important rôle in the comic... Also, as a Medic main, THERE WAS NO MEDIC CONTENT. LIKE, I KNOW THAT THE LAST COMIC WAS VERY MEDIC AND HEAVY FOCUSED, BUT STILL. I always need more Medic content 😭😭 glad to see that Archimedes is here also !
Also, Merasmus why are you so ripped 😂😂 he looks ugly as ever.
I am so very happy that Hale and Olivia both got fired from MannCo. They are finally happy now, with Hale going back with Mags fighting animals and going on other dangerous adventures.
There is ONE lats thing I need to point out. No, two things. First, I wonder what Valve will do now. Now that Team Fortress 2's story has come to an end. What will happen ? Is the game going to stop updating ? Or on the contrary will they go back to working on it ? Is there going to be a Team Fortress 3 ? Or is Team Fortress simply going to end on this perfect note ?
Finally, the ending. It took me a while to understand that the last dinner scene was adressing directly to us, the reader, the player. When I understood that, it hit le right in the heart. I cannot say that tf2 has been à huge part of my life. Like I said, I only got interested last year or so. I don't even oike the game itself that much, online multiplayer competitive FPSs are not my preferred genre. But the story, the characters and what the community makes (yes, the funny GMod machinimas and SFM movies. The memes and the serious stuff, both of them) made me learn to enjoy this universe. I must confess something. For some time, I played Fortnight with my brother. He made me try because I kept saying that I didn't like it, but I hadnd't poayed the game. After my first game, I said that I had some fun, in the end. So, he kinda forced le to play. For... idk, a few years. I do nlt remember the dates but I started the season with the Nomad skin as the ultimate reward, and stopped when there were hoverboards, or whatever they were. I didn't enjoy it because he insisted on being super competitive and was raging 90% of the time. So yeah, I hated every second of it and I vowed to not play competitive online multiplier games anymore. Which is why I absolutly refuse to play Overwatch and League of Legends. I wouldn't say that Team Fortress 2 reconciled me woth these type of games, but after watching all the Meet the Mercs and learning more about the story, I tried playing. I was a bit intimidated as to which class to choose, but after trying out several (and being very influenced by Meet the Medic), I found out that I had the most fun while playing Medic. I do nlt have a very good aim and I tend to die immediatly when I try to shoot at people. I also discovered that, playing an online multiplayer game doesn't have to be competitive. I have 9h30 in tf2, I play very casually. I do not get mad when I die or my team loses, because in the end, I just want to have fun in my own way. So, this ending hit me right in the heart
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I... I almost want to print that last panel and hang it on my wall... I know, there's nothing stopping me, but I don't want my family to question it.
Anyways. That was tf2 comic issue 7. I cannot wait to see what the future will bring for our mercs !

The thing with Veilguard, is that a lot of people who didn't like the videogame put all the blame on EA becuase the development was rushed and messy and some idiot had the idea to make it a multiplayer MOBA game or whatever the fuck it was going on and that can excuse some of the stuff going on in Veilguard:
everybody calling you Rook, a nickname a dwarf youve known for a month gave you, instead of your surname, especially ridicolous if you are a Grey Warden, you know, a member of a paramilitary order, and your boss calls you that. How certain factions, especially the Lords of Fortune but also the Mourn Watchers and Veil Jumpers are underdeveloped (but according to John Epler they decided to make less sidequests to focus better on a few of them and they ended up just being fetch quests or "kill these guys" for the most). Why you can't directly talk to your companions and ask them questions but have to stalk them through the lighthouse and hope they reveal something of themselves to your other companions (again, John Epler said this was a purpose choice they made and its a stupid one but I want to break a spear and say that it was probably because they didn't have the time to code or write every direct dialogue with Rook but I don't really know how these things work). Not being able to visit Minrathous.
But so much of it is an issue that started in the writing and developer room.
You cannot roleplay in the role playing game. Scratch the "there are not serious consequences of your action" part, we can file that under rushed development if we want to be nice. But you can only play as a nice, well meaning, always slightly sarcastic heroic Rook and that was a deliberate choice. You're basically only playing as purple Hawke. I don't want to play as purple Hawke. For an instance, I chose - obviously - the Grey Warden backstory (which I hated, all the backstories are the same, heroic Rook winning against a foe but disobeying orders and being punished by the mean higher ups) and when you do the mirror scene I chose the dialogue option that said "I have been impulsive when I saved that village and could've made things worse", but then when I'm talking to the first Warden and he reprimends me I can ONLY defend my actions and not agree with him or apologize for them. I wanted to play as a stern warden, respectful of the order and its authority, but the game doesn't let me do that.
The whitewashing of the narrative. Every faction (except the Grey Wardens) is super duper nice, they are all freedom fighters with XXI century politics. All the leaders of every faction believe you at face values about Super Evil Elven Gods and are willing to give you their help to slay them (except the Grey Wardens). All the factions are stripped of any nuance or of the infamous Bioware's grey morality (except the Grey Wardens, as the game, at any step, wants to reming you how stupidly secretive, kinda cultist-y and fucked up they are and how that is not a Good Thing). Especially annoying with the Crows, the local assassin's group of Antiva that is renowned for buying desinfranchised kids and torture them to make them the perfect assassins, and the Lords of Fortune, who are now the anti Indiana Jones of Thedas (but still tomb jackasses).
The whitewashing, or purposeful ignoring, of social conflict in Thedas. This game is set up partly in Tevinter and specifically in a district of Minrathous, but we not once encounter the slavery that the Imperium is built on, or racism against elves and qunari. And don't tell me "there are no slaves because Dock Town is a poor district of Minrathous", that is not how empires built on slave labour work, especially considering that Tevinter has always been based on the Roman Empire. Who do you think loads and unloads the cargo ships that dock there? You think slaves are only kept in the house and occasionally used for blood magic rituals? Not to mention that the faction for Dock Town is the Shadow Dragons, whos main work is freeing slaves, but not once we do a quest that revolves around that. And it's funny that they abandoned the entire issue with the mages and the Chantry "because we are in North Thedas" when the Chantry is a egemonical religion in Thedas. Zevran tells us that templars in Antiva guard mages like "jealous husbands", the Circle of Mages of Rivain was destroyed because they accused women there or summoning demons and the Anderfells are known for having the most pious followers of the Chantry in Thedas. I understand not making the mage issue a focus like it has been for the past three games, but to just dropt it like that is ridicolous. They didn't even do anything with the Tevinter Chantry and the Black Divine, something, I think, everybody was curious about. Ah but don't worry! We have the main dalish companion apologize 3000 times because the elves are at fault for everything going on in the world.
The characters are all shallow. There are very little important NPCs in this game and you can't directly talk to any of them if not during specific cutscenes during the story. John Epler (it's always him or Weekes lmao) said they wanted to avoid meaningless cameos but then they threw in the game characters from other games like Morrigan, Dorian, Isabela, Maevaris who was actually not from a game, but a comic, so I would've liked to know more about her, and doesn't let you interact in any way with them. Varric, for the love of god, there is no way for someone who is playing Dragon Age for the first time to give a shit about this guy. Who are these people. What do they want. Who are the leaders of these factions. The companions as well. You cannot talk to them but have to hope they will say something about themselves during random party banters in the Lighthouse and then they will have crafted cutscenes for the stupidest shit like Lucanis making Harding drink coffee. You know how some people dislike Varric, Garrus and Liara because the games want you to like them? This is what it feels with all the companions, and the forced found family is so on the nose it becomes unbearing. The romances are underwhelming, or so I am told by everyone. Davrin, who is in my opinion the best character in this game, has most of his character and quest revolving around a fucking rat with wings and all the stuff about his relationship with the dalish or wardens comes up in random party banters, again, instead of him telling me directly about it. The only relationship between companions that I found slightly compelling is between Davrin and Lucanis because they are the ONLY characters with an actual conflict going on, every other conflict is resolved immediately either by Rook stepping up and going "stop fightiiiiing why are you fightiiiiiing" or by the constrast being actually a misunderstanding, hey isn't it nice how every one of our companions are super duper nice guys who can do no wrong (like Bellara and Taash). Do you miss Mordin Solus? I know I do.
Connected to the characters issue, why the hell is the approval/disapproval system even a thing? It's impossible to lose approval from characters in this game, while they'll approve literally you standing in their vicinity. I've never worked SO HARD to try and lose approval with my companions, and it's impossible. Just, throw it away at this point, you have already implemented another system (the bond one) and are trying to work on a mass effect model, so atp just do that.
The villains oh my fucking god. This ties with the whitewashing of every good faction I have to ally with, as all the villains are super evil "bullies" with nothing else going on behind them. Maybe the only villain with something different going on is Isseiya, but all the others are faceless, corrupted evil hordes to be mowed down with Super Duper Evil leaders that have nothing going on if not a desire for Power and Conquest? Do you remember when Gereon Alexius was a desperate father who would've done everything to save his son from the Blight? Do you remember when Calpernia was an ex slave with a dream of revitalizing the Imperium by uplifting the slaves as citizens? Do you remember Meredith and the Arishok? Do you remember Loghain?? And like every side or personal quest villain/antagonist, the Evanuris are ONLY driven by power and power and power and they are so evil because they want power more power still power.
The missing/ignored plot threads. They hinted at us for years about the upcoming Tevinter/Qunari war and that went nowhere. What about the mentioned crisis/internal war/split between the Grey Wardens? Nothing. Where are Fen'hare's agents? Apparently they left Solas' side because he was a meanie and we know that because of a reddit AMA. The awakened darkspawns? Darkspawns now are officially a mindless horde and [insert GRRM piece on orc genocide] so don't worry about it.
They want a new slate in case they ever get to work on another Dragon Age in the future, and that's so obvious from certain narrative choice they made in the game, all happening far far away from us and that we know throw some fucking letters the Inquisitor sends to us and the most glaring one is the complete destruction of Southern Thedas, especially Ferelden.
The combat is... polarizing for me. On one hand, it is a mildly enjoyable action combat, and when you get over the heartbreak of never being able to build a mage like in Origins and having some tactic going on, it is fine, it is flashy enough to be enjoyable at least. But the enemy variety is terrible, the bosses are reused to hell and back and on top of that they are for the most normal enemies that are given a boss health bar (if i think about it, im pretty sure there is only one unique boss ive met so far, the archdemon, and it's such a pathetic boss fight)
The art direction. While I love, and I mean LOVE, the character design for your companions and whenever I look at them I get mad because such good design... wasted for these characters and this game. I do not like the art direction. I hate how everything has been scifi-ed, the eluvians now have rgb lights and they look like twitch streamers PCs or prothean artifacts, Bellara's magical gloves are fucking nanomachines and she literally works her magic like a mechanic. Not to mention the architecture and the neon signs in Dock Town. Most of the armors are ugly as hell and I want to talk with whoever designed the Lords of Fortune armors.
This scifi-cation carries out in the soundtrack as well, with a subpar score from Hans Zimmer.
I understand that it's not possible to work around every single choice made in the past three games, but some stuff is too important to just, leave it alone. Northern Thedas is still in Thedas and it's politically connected to it. Who the Divine is should be important, if my warden has died should matter, if Morrigan had a child should matter. They don't even make her mention the hero of ferelden EVER, whenever people talk about her they say she was a witch of the wilds and then worked with the Inquisition. ISN'T THERE A BIG GAP IN YOUR RESUME, MORRIGAN? Shouldn't a Grey Warden Blackwall be at Weisshaupt/Hossberg? But then, even the choices they have you make at the start regarding your Inquisitor are red herrings, the only thing the game cares about is wether your Lavellan romances Solas or not.
This game thinks we're stupid. I am constantly explained, over and over again what is going on. I am playing this game. I just saw the scene that has been recapped by Varric and then recapped by a text and then recapped by the characters chilling around a table commenting the scene. Not to mention all the time Rook and the companions say "We need to be in our best mind place to win this fight, we need to focus on ourselves, we need to think about ourselves first and then we can focus on the Evil Elven Gods" which is a little less on the nose way to say "do our personal quests". Insanely PG13 game.
Therapy speak.
And I think I'm done, at least for now. I have a lot of other issues but most of them are nitpicky and it's just me being annoying.

Games - Simon "Ghost" Riley x m!reader (fluff)
(erm boykisser alert!)
Tumblr media
The gentle click-clacking of your fingers on the keyboard soothed Simon to no end. A small studio apartment, the smell of the dollar tree air freshener to hide the scent of a behemoth of a dog who runs around like he pays rent.
Simon wasn't in this house much. He was out working. He wanted something bigger. Never a fan of the small spaces.
This place was close to your job, was always your reasoning. Shite reasoning if you asked him, but he knew you weren't one to want to be provided for straight off the bat.
So what else could he do? You're a grown man, you know what you want.
He laid on the bed, the soft sounds of classical playing on the radio next to the bed. The keyboard clacking adding on like ASMR.
Grunting, he got up, looming over behind you, and putting his hands on your biceps, squeezing,
"Get up. I want to head out."
You looked up at him, confused. You were playing a multiplayer after all, you couldn't just leave. :/
He sensed this, sensed what you wanted. But frankly, he doesn't care.
"I don' like my men sittin' on their ass all day, yeah? Can't stay cooped up in this apartment forever."
You tried to protest, but it earned you a light slap on the back of your head,
"Yer yapping. Finish up your game, and I'll get us something to eat too. 'ell a lil more meat on your bones would d'ya good, yeah?"
Said the soldier, leaving the room to grab his car keys, a low rumble escaping his throat from his own joke (if you could call it one.)
Sitting with him at a park, he realizes it wasn't a keyboard, it was you who soothed him. Your presence.
He likes to believe his heart was too cold to ever be repaired. And he still believes that.
But it doesn't mean you haven't reminded him that he still has a soul. A human one at least.
A game has the same thing every time. A puzzle that needs to be solved, whether it be with skill or strategy, and a reward. But you can never change the game. You will never fix it to fit you, or alter it. The reward wouldn't feel deserving anymore.
And that's why he had the gall to say he loves you. You never tried to change him. You only tried to figure him out. And when you failed, you never quit. Just looked at him, as if there would be an answer. You saw him as a reward for what the world threw at you.
He didn't know how to feel when he saw that look in your eyes. Looking at him as if he could ever appreciate you like you appreciate him.
But this moment in the car after night had befallen the park, as you whined over not being able to play your silly little game and "losing a win streak.", just to be hushed by a hand on your knee and an adoring soldier driving you to your favorite little burger joint, Simon could care less. He's home.
(Daily reminder I am not a writer and don't actively write fanfiction pwease pwease pwease be nice >_<)

My hopes for ME 5:
Take place centuries after ME trilogy
Mainly
The protagonist could be plays as nonhuman
The idea that instead playing as a human protagonist like the first 4 games, here players could choose their race like how Dragon Age does so. The races I could think of are: humans (naturally lol), asaris, turians, salarians, quarians (suitless), and maybe an original race.
Humans will naturally have the most optionable when it comes to customization, however other races should have some variations as seen in ME3 multiplayer but with more. Having asari's crest shape either being curly, female turian having fringes, etc.
Another idea is how some races have restrictions when it comes to class selections, like how DA done with its race. Humans are the jake-of-all-trades: neither thr most powerful yet not the weakest. Asari could only play biotic class, but the most powerful. Salarian can't play frontline class like soldier and vanguard but best at infiltrator. Krogan can't play infiltrator, but the best options for soldiers and Vanguard.
The protagonists were either cryosleep or descendants of the Mass Effect squadmates
The cryosleep option will likely be a good choice for a stand-in character; before Reaper War, some of the government officials did believe in Shepard's warning and managed to create a cryogenic colony, similar what the Protheans did. There were only limited numbers due to funding and timing, and the numbers were likely only in the thousands. Once Shepard active the Crucible, it fried the VI moderating the cryopods, causing some to die and the rest not to be reawakened until the start of ME5. What likely woke them up was a conflict between Liara and her group with the Reaper Cultists trying find a now awake Shepard. Now the awoken Protagonist trying adjust to a new galaxy unfamiliar to their own; another intragalaxtic rivaling the reformed Citadel Council called Attican Traverse Alliance, a Reaper snd Shepard cultists, etc.
Another option is that the protagonist-based on their race- are descendants of ME triology characters, more specifically the squadmate and crew. Like thr krogan will be Wrex child, thr human will be great grandchild of Ashley or Kaidan, etc.
More preexisting Alien races before and during Reaper War
Canonically, there are dozens of different races that members of the Citadel Council, however, the games were limited due to the game engine and creativity. The idea is that there should be more races in the 5th game that were already known, but only introduced in this game. Maybe like 20, at least to show that thr galaxy is far more diverse than how fanfic protray it.
That, and also more non-gonochoric races, either mono-sex (like asari), hermaphrodite, or races having more than 2 sex. For mono-sex, I already saw 2 ME oringal species that assigned at such, and I have my own original races that are mono-sex.
Could choose Shepard's gender and their lover
I preferred that Shepard is a woman and that her lover is Liara T'soni (people forget how big this was in the 2000s). I also know Bioware portrayed Shepard as a man. My idea is to keep it as anonymous as possible and allow the players to choose, likely at where players customize their character.
If not, at least allowed be Shepard x Liara be canon and still allowed to change Shepard gender.
Self-explanatory, I know how biased Bioware could be with Liara, and a lot of the storyline make it more dramatic and romantic if the players choose Liara as their lover. However, I don't like the idea that mashep will considered be thr canon Shepard, so hopefully, they allow us to choose the gender.
If the last two were option, allow the protagonist and/or main characters (as an Asari) be Shepard's daughter.
One idea is that each optionable race have their own backstory with players choosing some of it (like Shepard). My idea that the asari character is Liara's daughter, either being Shepard (if players chose them) or some other person (likely another asari, or maybe still Shepard if they gave het permission before hand). This creates more drama and interesting storyline.
Technology progression far more after the canon end
Self-explanatory. It will make sense, especially since they already did so after ME1. Some idea I think of: far larger and faster ships (3km+ and 25 ftl per day); using plasma or hard-like light weapons; far larger space station (see my Citadel redesign); maybe a new wearable computer and superseded omnitool; maybe some tech that isn't based on mass effect/eezo.
Actually provide more lores for races other than superficial ones on the codex
Even though Mass Effect sometimes provided great lores, it doesn't feel as filling.
Lost Worlds/Reconnecting other planets that were disconnected from the relay
One of the primary reasons why I wanted the game to take place centuries layer. Having planets that were isolated due to the destruction of the relays, especially multi-species ones, allows interesting storyline and lore. Though ME3 already confirmed the mass relay were back up, it will make sense if they are only functionable in Citadel Space.
One idea is a hub section on a newly connected world, heavily populated by multiple species with a large population (maybe around 50 billion). Another idea is multiple star systems in Terminus Systems that were populated by former slave descendants who had revolted after the Mass Relays destruction. Likely called the Free People Republic who are extremely anti-Batarian.
Mythification of Commander Shepard
Don't know what else to add here.
The main antagonists are Reaper cultists
Like the mythification of Shepard, there will also be a mythifcation of Reapers. Insteadif believing that Reapers were villains wiping out organic and synthetic alike, they were actually a harmonic force of good, trying to bring harmony and unity through assimilation. They only fought through horrific means due to the resistance they faced.
The game storyline will be about finding Shepard while also dealing with the Reaper cult, figuring out who they are and their motivation. They will be more like a looming threat in the background like Cerebus were in the first game.
Some characters' ideas I have/ want a lesbian and gay characters in the squad
Honestly, this is more like my oc in ME 5, but I also disliked how the only lesbian/gay character we allowed to romance ain't squadmate. I love Samantha Traynor and Suvi Anwar, but they're don't have a lot followers due of their lack of scene time. I have 2 characters, though one is more like transmasc nonbinary.
The Blue Mage/ Blue Sorcerer
An oc I have since ME:A, the Blue Mage biracial Japanese, she is a D&D enthusiast who enjoys role-playing as a Mage and employed it through her biotic Though naturally a weak biotic, her staff contains a large amount of eezo, which amplifies her biotic ability. She is also a biochemist who specializes in genetics and eezo. Her backstory is a bit tragic; she once has a beloved wife that she adored along with 5 daughters. However, due to recklessness when researching eezo and genealogy, her wife died through AEND, and all her daughters blamed her for it. The Blue Mage (I calling her Samantha) looks like in her late 20s, she is actually in her 100s (it helps that humans' maximum lifespan will be at 250 years). Not only that, due to her tinkering her genes (with eezo) (and being a designer baby), she could live up to her 500s. (She also talk about how weird it is to have an asari best friend; by the time she has her third daughter by age 40, her asari friend will be at stage 4 of puberty.)
When the Female/Enby protagonist romance her, or at least trying to be friends with her, she will open who she is, including about the research that led to her wife death, thr method behind her daughter's birth (she carried her), her parents that she hated, and her religion belief (she is a Shintist, Buddhist, and Siarists) (it also connected to her research). Her research was about not only increasing biotic potential for humans (and other nonhumans), but it was also about trying to apply telepathy and mental connection like how asari does so. Not only that, but using herself as a guinea pig, having telepathic. Her telepathic is so adroit that she managed inseminated telepathically through her former wife's gene, through birthing her daughter like an asari. And how her wife got AEND was that, due of her being also an eezo researcher like Samantha, she and her were both reckless when dealing with her research, and though Samantha was immune, her wife was not. Her daughter blamed her for her death, which she agreed. However, the protagonist could convince her that both her and her wife held responsibility and that she shouldn't feel as solely the guilty one. This will help her for her loyalty mission and their romance if female/enby protagonist romance her.
For the loyalty mission, her oldest daughter-a powerful biotic vanguard - joined up with an asari majority vigilant group that fights against pirates and slavers. Samantha discovered an SOS from her band that they managed rescued slaves from an infamous, powerful mercenary who's planning to sell them to an unknown buyer (likely the Reaper cultists). The hilarious idea that Samantha's daughter contacted the protagonist's squad and learned that her mother is in it. Cue two of them yelling at each other to the point the omnitool can't even translated it. When the protagonist intervened, and if the they're female/enby romancing Samantha, this would be the response.
Daughter: Who the hell is this!?
Female/enby, choosing renegade option: I'm your new daddy.
Daughter: My new wha- Okāsan?!
Samantha, blushing yet also angry: Not the time, babe!
The other squadmate: I didn't know you two were dating/ too much information/ you using the wrong gender word.
In the end, after rescuing the band and the captured people, the daughter and Samantha made up, and the daughter introduced them to her asari lover. This led het other 4 daughters to forgive her too.
The Ronin
A vanguard who was friends with Samantha (they lost touch before Samantha's wife death), the Ronin is like a futuristic samurai. The idea behind the character is based on my fictional architectural/cultural resurgence called Neohon. The idea is how Japanese started rejecting having their architecture and fashion based on Western style and start using their traditional ones, just using more advanced or new tools (other cultures also done the same thing). (The only issue is that it was overtaken by ultranationalists.)
Anyways, the idea was how some Ko-ryū and Ninjutsu schools started employing biotic ability into their curriculum and swordship method. The Ronin uses Iaido (quick drawing) for their swordship; do a biotic charge and use the momentum to cut through enemies.
I don't have lore behind them: they were friends with Samantha and both were from a Japanese-Asari jointed colony that predated the Reaper war, they part of some samuari/shinobi band, their teacher was also their lover, and the majority of their band were betray by their own member, leaving only them as the only survivor.
The Biosyth
This is actually based on one of the aliens that was mentioned in the game. With all their race living a huge server, there are some who wish to venture outside, using a robotic unit that has almost all the similarity with an organic body. The virtual race does not have restricted genders, nor do they have retained sexual orientation. Meaning the protagonist, no matter of gender, could romance them.
Some ideas I have that the Biosyth is a youngster of their race, going through a rite of passage by leaving the server and venturing out with their unit. They are fascinated by the outside world and ask the protagonist a whole bunch of questions and trying new foods. They even start experiencing their gender, either feminine, masculine, nonbinary, or agender, and the player could help choose for them.
Squad member platonic date and romantic date
Kind of similar how ME:A did it, but after completing a squadmate loyalty mission, they will invite the protagonist and the rest of the crew for a group date. If the player have a romance squadmate, they will also have an additional one.
For Samantha/Blue Mage, her platonic date is returning to her and Ronin homeworld, and going either an RPG/fantasy convention or an dnd session. One hilarious idea is that the player gave the DM an idea using a humongous final boss monster (like Y'gathok, the Ceaseless Hunger). The hologram will make it more hilarious. For the romance/intimate date, Samantha invited the female/enby protagonist visiting her wife's grave, along with her 4 daughters, her oldest and asari lover. It'll be the final acceptance for her wife's death, healing for the remaining family, and introducing new potential families.
I can't think for a romace date for Biosyth, but platonic, I thought of a fun fashion for them in a clothing store. They were trying different clothing that were assigned on genders, and the crew either encouraged them or joined in.
ME:A gameplay mechanic
Fuck do I love Andromeda's mechanics, they better add it back.
Accurate Races height
Due to the first 3 game limiting game engines, almost all thr races have equal height. I wish for ME5 to have a more accurate height for each species, like Krogans supposed to be 7'5, Turians 6'6-7, etc.

(MAJOR SPOILERS FOR GOTHAM KNIGHTS VIDEO GAME)
Ok, so I finished Gotham Knights, and here's my review.
I loved it! The story was amazing, and the plot twists! I totally did not expect Kane to be The Voice. And the Court of Owls!!! They're my all time favorite Batman villain/organization, so for them to be such a prominent villain made me undeniably happy. And the Labyrinth, it was so well done, I literally cried. The mind games and the way it hits you in the feels, it embodies the Court perfectly. The League of Shadow was well done as well.
The sibling bonding! I'm sad that only Dick, Babs, Jay, and Tim were there, but they did them so well! They showed Tim's insecurity and grief for losing Bruce, and I totally believe he's autistic. Dick struggled with whether to take up the cowl and whether he was good enough. Babs struggles through her own grief with her father's death. Jason grieves a father he barely got to know, and apparently the Lazarus pit gave him powers??? I'm all for it. And how Jay still struggles with the pit's effects, finally someone did my boy right.
But it's not all sadness and pain for the batkids. They bond, have fun and make fun of each other, true BatFam content.
I was spoiled for the end of the game, but even if I hadn't been I still felt the dread and realization that as we approached the Wayne cemetery that Talia was going to revive Bruce. That whole scene hit me in the feels and having to mourn Bruce a second time.
And Gotham city, I adored swinging/flying/driving around and patrolling. The subtle details like the fact that there is actually a Batman Musical in universe made me smile. The way citizens have differing opinions on vigilantes. I've never played a spider-man game, but I imagine they're pretty similar.
And the way Wayne Family Botanical Gardens was in ruins and not used, it made me so sad. How Bruce is buried next to his parents, how in the belfry he had the highest ranking score on the video game. I couldn't even bring myself to play it, if i removed Bruce from the leader board I would have felt so guilty and sad.
The graphics were amazing, the attention to detail made my artist heart excited and inspired, and I only ever experienced minor glitches, like the subtitles occasionally flashing, I've had way worse glitches in Skyrim or Knight of the Old Republic, so it really wasn't a big deal to me. I loved how both the end credits and Main Title adjust to whatever your heroes are wearing at the time. I haven't played multiplayer, nor do I plan to, so I can't give you a review on that.
This game was not only gorgeous and well thought out, but it actually made me feel with the characters. I would 100% recommend playing it. 100/10 would play again.
I'll be starting Arkham Knight soon, so stay tuned for that review. I've heard good things and I'm excited!

Been a mix of "7 Days to Die" and "Palworld" together with dad, or "Astroneer" with a friend (Hi, I know you'll see this, we have to continue that someday soon when I have energy)
And then I've been playing "My Time at Sandrock" quite obsessively the last few days. Both because I want the story, but also because I just find the character interaction soothing. Also because I want to get through the story so me and the same friend can play multiplayer together. ...Mostly because I want the story, since Multiplayer doesn't have it in the same manner.
I'm just going to ramble below the cut, but TL;DR:
I'm okay, just low on energy. Likely not eating well enough and sleeping schedule is a mess because of stress.
So this will be a bit about me just gushing, and also just my thoughts and feelings. It's more me wanting to talk to the void, even if I get no reply. It's soothing in its own right.
I won't go on too long about this specifically, but I believe I mentioned having broken up earlier this year. Specifically my previous relationship ended early December 2023.
I still don't feel okay from that, my self-esteem is... Not doing well. If anything I feel a bit scared of entering a relationship in the future because of how hurt I feel, and especially because I have such a strong sense of "I am not good enough". So some days are harder than others, but I'll be okay.
But I've kinda realised now that I have... Not really gushed over characters as much. Not really allowed myself to feel much regarding those, felt guilty almost. So Sandrock has been soothing, as I've allowed myself to bit by bit just sqee on the inside because the interactions are adorable.
...Also me having felt guilty to have to turn down a confession from one of the NPCs, like damn did that hurt- But the NPC I wanted to meet hadn't appeared yet and I didn't know who I wanted to go for. I'd say I'd have to do another playthrough and go for the other character, but at the same time........ I'm very stuck on the character I'm with. An odd sense of safety that I once used to have, it's nostalgic. Soothing, even. If I can find that again in a person irl, I'd be happy.
But currently I'm happy as is with my plan to just adopt a lot of cats when I get a better living situation. Become the crazy cat lady. Frankly- I'd probably be happy just living with cats if anything. I'm okay with that future, it's a good one.
And that's me being genuine because I can't see a better future than having a bunch of cats to cuddle with like come on
Cat person, through n through lmao
...Maybe I can get a cat to call Galby after the antagonist of the Eragon books called Galbatorix- Hmmmm.

Haaii!! I hope you are doing well :3 and i hope im not interrupting you- dont know if you are online now sorry :'D
May i ask what your Zane headcanons are?
Hi! Sorry for the delay, but sure! This got long, so under a cut.
He doesn't give a fuck about gender after he comes back in season 4, and is cool with whatever gender words and pronouns
Still uses he/him mostly since that's what most people use for him and he isn't too fussed by gender
Can not figure out how to open those pump shampoo/lotion bottles, and therefore will avoid them at all costs
Always meticulous in his appearance, even though he is always wearing white
Struggles with the idea that he is actually Zane after he died in season 4, and then later on after he came back from the never realm
Most hated teacher at Darkley's because he can't read cursive and that's all these kids seem to know how write
He has two modes of communication online: Either incredibly formal, like writing a letter to the government, or with the weirdest combination of slang he absorbed via Urban Dictionary and teen movies/shows
On that note, he is the best at busting drug deals online between teens because he knows all of the slang they use to avoid getting flagged by the system
Reads fanfic about himself and other media he consumes unironically, because he wants to support writers who are writing for their passions. His comments are legendary
After the events of season 6, Jay forced him to get an upgrade so he doesn't arrest himself if he commits a crime. Zane has no clue why
Researched on how to get a therapist to say you are 'fine' since he doesn't want to waste anyone's time with what he thinks aren't actual problems (they really are problems)
Adding onto that, is incredibly stubborn when it comes to taking advice about how to take care of himself mentally and emotionally
Despises pop up ads to the point where when Jay wants to be a little shit, he will install a virus onto Zane that makes him say random pop-up ads randomly
Can't play online multiplayer due to the anti-cheating software flagging him as a bot (which like yes he is but also no)
Is the ninja's shady back alley doctor because he got banned from the hospital after fighting a doctor who didn't believe them that Kai's body temperature is actually that high and he isn't sick
Uses his falcon to spy on the ninja (rip Falcon)
Anyway, hope that is what you were looking for! I could go on about Zane but I didn't wanna bore you

I mean, you quite possibly saw salmonid-ink die... I loved running it, but splatoon 3 pretty much killed my passion. I still love the stuff I made for splatoon on the whole, but man do I get it. nintendo had interest in worldbuilding for like five entire seconds, where it just STOPPED because they wanted to sell a product. salmon run is a popular game mode, so we can't develop little buddy THAT much... why explain mechanics when they can just HAPPEN because. idk, ~future~ or something
genuinely, I wish you luck with any projects you make in the future! I enjoy seeing your OCs quite a lot, so I'll continue to view them, splatoon or no. I hope things can look up for you a bit!
Yeah, I remember, it was a shame but I fully understood where you came from back then (and now, lol). For the record I think the developers DO have interest in worldbuilding and the series is a big passion project for at least a handful of people on board. I unfortunately also believe that when you're making video games in-house at Nintendo and half the business is just about the profit margin, you don't really get to decide to spend half the budget on story when the gameplay focus is on repetitive multiplayer that could as well take place in a box and it wouldn't matter for most people who are genuinely in it for the gameplay. Unfortunately, and i HATE THIS OBVIOUSLY, unless you have a game series that's a story game as its selling point, it's REALLY unlikely that the story will be good... indie games win in this niche because independent developers CAN pretty much do what they want a lot of the time, the industry has no such freedom. Hell, nintendo HAS a story-focused big series in Zelda, and i use story-focused VERY loosely because.... well. Lol. these are all reasons i went to school for video games and never want to work in the industry for the record. i hate everything about it
I started rambling but TL;DR falling in love with a product is devastation waiting to happen at some point I think. my expectations of future games USED to be "SURELY, expand on the world and adapt the gameplay to those settings, it ONLY makes sense". If literally anyone ever has played Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, that's the kind of world and level setup I could see Splatoon somehow realistically do and it would be SO GOOD and it's ALMOST THERE EVEN, they're just... allergic to actually letting you IN THE WORLD. Nowadays, thinking about the future of Splatoon, i'm HONESTLY more inclined to believe future titles will be "new random micro-setting, random one-time-use goop because we need an Evil Goo to combat our Good Goo, unconsequential supervillain causing unconsequental but supposedly world-ending events, and poorly done plot with forced climax". Which is Not Good but it keeps happening. My smile and optimism gone
ANYWAY, thank you! I'll post here once I do anything. Mostly whenever I get an account set up for whatever I get going with.

Thoughts on Tim Sweeney's future of video games being all about live service experiences?
Epic has primarily been a multiplayer-only developer for close to (if not more than) 20 years now. And Fortnite in particular has made them billions and billions and billions of dollars.
Like, I believe it came out as part of the Apple trial, Epic made 20 billion dollars in 2022 alone. That's $20,000,000,000. And that's just for that one year. Fortnite has, since then, had multiple times where they've broken all kinds of concurrent player records, and now Fortnite as a business has grown to encompass multiple entire games.
It would be easy to say that, in its entire life time, just Fortnite alone has very likely earned Epic Games close to one hundred billion dollars.
So if you're looking at things from a purely monetary perspective, as a "𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚍𝚞𝚌𝚝" that generates "𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚏𝚒𝚝", then yes. You would naturally say this. You would say, "we made a live service product that has generated more money than anything we've ever made combined, ergo that is the future." You are successful, so you want to repeat that success.
Which is the thing with these kinds of people, right. I know Tim Sweeny comes from the trenches, I know he wasn't always this rich, but he's speaking from the same perspective as, like... let's talk movies for a second.
Let's talk about the term "executive meddling." Film studio executives chase money. They chase trends. They'd like to be trend setters, but the fact of the matter is, a lot of them are too cowardly to do that. They wait until somebody else becomes a trend setter, they set up a mining operation in that trend, and bleed the vein dry until the next trend setter comes along.
You might have a really incredible idea for a movie, you might write a really amazing script, and it could turn out to be a legendary classic, but executives only see the world in dollar signs. If your movie doesn't hit "what's hot" then you are considered a risk and depending on how much of a risk you are, your legitimately great movie might get thrown in the dumpster.
And even if they are the ones to set a trend, that does not necessarily mean they are suddenly open and welcoming to new ideas. Again, it's all about going where the success is and staying there until the success stops happening.
Games are no different, except that it's much easier to have a breakout indie success on a lower budget than it is with a movie. There's a lot about making a movie that requires a crew of people to work, whereas an indie game can be the sole effort of a single person and still tear up the charts.
With the one hundred billion dollars Fortnite has made Tim Sweeny, he could fund hundreds of thousands of independent developers. Possibly even a million-plus. He could give these people careers. Even if they failed, it wouldn't matter, because he has one hundred billion dollars and lost maybe 0.001% of that. He could cultivate an entire cottage industry of his own. Multiple, even.
He doesn't even need to be that picky! He was on staff for Jazz Jackrabbit! It's Sonic with a gun! The next Tim Sweeny could be out there with something just as derivative, and just needs a little extra nudge, you know?
Instead, our current Tim Sweeny wants to make two hundred billion dollars. He wants to put Snoop Dogg in Fortnite, who has a lightsaber battle with the Demogorgon from Stranger Things. They are both killed when horror movie icon Micheal Myers pulls up in Paul Walker's Nissan Skyline from The Fast and the Furious, who blows them both up with a rocket launcher that shoots pumpkins. He is wearing an Among Us back pack.
Certainly, that is a video game. It is also definitely money, both coming in and going out like a firehose. But it will never be the only video game. To claim otherwise is just chest thumping for investors.
You can't take it with you, Tim. And one day, Fortnite will have to shut down. Seven-plus years of weapons, maps and gameplay will all evaporate overnight. Are you so sure you can trap lightning in a bottle again? I haven't forgotten Battle Breakers. The Metaverse only makes sense to those with infinite money, and nobody, not even you, truly have infinite money. Especially not in the ways you're burning it at both ends.
Besides that, Ready Player One was a dystopia! It was a dystopia, Tim! People weren't happy!

Okay for the kiss prompt I NEED #17 (I think that's the kiss to hide from bad guys one), but I will let you choose the pairing based on which ones would be either the most awkward at it or the most like "this is the stupidest thing you've ever come up with"
Patsy was in the middle of a long internal debate over whether she should have frozen pizza or an entire box of cereal for dinner, when Fenris suddenly rushed into L3v3l Up, looking distraught.
He looked around, spotted her in her bean bag chair, and walked up to her, eyes slightly crazed. The urgency made him even hotter, if that was at all possible.
"Help me," he pleaded in a hushed voice.
Patsy immediately sat up straight, slightly alarmed. Or straight-ish, she was in a bean bag chair after all. "What's going on? How can I help?"
Patsy usually wasn't high on any "People to ask for help" lists, so she felt honoured that Fenris had come to her. But they were making out on the regular, maybe that had moved her up on the list. She could practically hear Bobby yelling You're not just making out, you're an actual couple, Patricia! in her mind, but she immediately smothered Mind Bobby with a pillow. What did Blobster know - nothing!
"He is here..." Fenris looked around with a haunted look. Was someone chasing him? "My boss... Alistair... and he wants to ask me for, and I quote, 'relationship advice'."
"Alistair wants relationship advice? And he's not asking me or Bobby? How dare he, what an ungrateful little bastard! We spend all this time rezzing him in multiplayer and now he finally has something not-boring going on in his life and he doesn't come to us?"
"Patsy, please, he's looking for me!" Fenris bent over and put his hands on her shoulders to make her focus.
And indeed, out of the store window Patsy could see Alistair standing in front of the Brewmother, turning in a circle and looking like an abandoned puppy. Then he looked straight at L3v3l Up and his face lit up like someone set the puppy on fire. She'd be tempted to help him if it weren't Fenris in front of her and if Steve (or Alistair, whatever) hadn't betrayed her by withholding important information from her. Granted, she already knew he had a crush on Warden; it was about the principle!!!
"Don't worry, you came to the right person," Patsy assured him. And she meant it, Steve-wrangling was easy.
She stood up, smiled at Fenris who looked at her full of hope. He really believed her that she could help him! Why was that so... ugh, no time for feelings, get it together Paste!
She pulled down her t-shirt as though that would show off her cleavage, even though the neckline really wasn't low enough for that. Isabela would still be proud. "Kiss me."
"... What?"
"Trust me." She smirked at him and cocked her head a bit, hopefully in an inviting way.
Fenris stared at her for one, two seconds - possibly wondering whether he'd made a mistake coming here - but then he nodded, pulled her closer by the hips (fuck, so hot!) and kissed her.
Patsy had the best ideas!
Alistair had almost reached the door, so Patsy wrapped her arms around Fenris' neck and murmured against his lips:"Put your hand on my boob."
Fenris obediently grabbed her tit and just in time, because just then Alistair entered the store.
Patsy made sure to make some We're Kissing And It's A Really Good Kiss noises for him to hear.
For a moment, Alistair didn't say anything, didn't seem to move as well. Then: "Oh Maker, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to- Enjoy your - Well, I'll be leaving."
Fenris hummed his approval, which made Patsy hum her approval. Mhmmm.
Alistair made a few steps backwards, turned around and then retreated to the Brewmother.
When he was sure that Alistair was gone, Fenris breathed a sigh of relief, then looked at her and cocked an eyebrow. "I can't believe that worked."
"As I said, trust me," Patsy grinned, very pleased with herself.
"I do." Fenris grinned, too, but sounded like he actually meant it.
For a moment, they just stared at each other. No, no, no, what was this mood shift, where was it coming from, BEGONE! Patsy cleared her throat. "You know, I think we better keep kissing. Just in case he comes back... "
"Ah, I see that you really are an expert when it comes to these situations. I would be a fool to not follow your advice here."
Luckily, it turned out that bean bag chairs were excellent for making out in and they were only walked in on by one (1) scandalized customer!

explaining random shit and a few not so commonly translated cuss words we say here in brazil
foi de base - death, to die
example: fulano foi de base (the guy went to base) - meaning the guy died
slang that originally came from brazilian League Of Legends players that refers to when you die and return to the base. Literal translation of "foi de base" would be like "went to base" or something but it's kinda complicated to translate because the "foi de" part means like "went as (something)" or "did the (something)"
foi de base can also be derived into different versions in which you can switch the word "base" for literally any word of your preference. Popular example: fulano foi de arrasta pra cima (john doe went to swipe up. Yeah i know, it's just not as funny in english but it's funny in portuguese, i promise)
tankar - to tolerate
intankavel ("untankable") - intolerable, insufferable
examples: não da pra tankar os carro feio do elon (i can't tank elon's ugly cars), o carro feio do elon é intankavel (elon's ugly car is untankable) - meaning you can't tolerate elon's ugly cars
slang that comes from the term "tank" from *i believe* World of Warcraft (please correct me if i'm wrong about the origin of the term) and also used in Final Fantasy, meaning a character that has a high HP count or a high resistance to attacks, usually a character meant to lure in enemies during multiplayer sessions so other players can attack the enemies that are too focused on trying to take down the tank character (i feel very represented by this term as a Final Fantasy player who has a tank miqo'te /j)
bostil + intankavel o bostil
bostil - fusion of "bosta" (shit) and "brasil" (brazil). Slang used specifically to refer to brazilian hardships that are strictly related to the country itself and its issues.
intankavel o bostil - (see "tankar", "intankavel") Slang used to criticize anything if you're brazilian, can be used both to criticize specifically brazil issues or if you're just a brazilian person complaining about anything in general. Does not require to be anything strictly related to brazilian struggles and can be used ironically but is commonly used that way. Still considered appropriate to be only used by brazilians.
vai chupar um canavial de rola - go suck a sugarcane field of cocks
you basically just tell someone this if you're pissed off, it's self explanatory
olavo, olavo de carvalho, olavo de caralho - skull, skeleton, death, dead person (this one has a bigger context)
example 1: foi de olavo (see "foi de base") - means the person died
example 2: olha o olavo aí *aponta pra uma caveira ou esqueleto* (look at the olavo *points at a skull or skeleton*) - means you're, well, looking at a skull or a skeleton.
"olavo" refers to a brazilian """philosopher""" (my ass) named Olavo de Carvalho who passed away 2 years ago (almost 3 years now! happy deathday olavo!) and he was just not a good person so that's why we make fun of his death here. Olavo was not only a flat earth believer but also a covid denier (he literally died from covid) and, well, he was basically a fascist. Good riddance
Olavo de Caralho is a pun with his last name "Carvalho" (oak), but "caralho" means a whole variety of cuss words (fuck, cock, etc. It can mean a lot of stuff)
broxa - a type of brush, person with erectile dysfunction (PLEASE don't ever call someone this because it's super degrading unless they're an asshole)
broxa was originally a type of brush, a short and more tougher brush.
broxa is a derogatory term used to refer to a person with erectile dysfunction and can be a verb like "broxou" which refers to a dick going soft too early
broxa can also be used if you're disappointed at something.
example: eu fiquei broxado com o final desse filme (my dick went soft at the end of this movie) - means you were disappointed at the end of the movie you watched
viado, bicha - faggot
here we actually use "viado" and "bicha" the same way english speakers use "bro" for example, but it's much more appropriate to use this slang when you're queer yourself, otherwise it's seen as inappropriate or even homophobic
prikito, priquito - pussy
comes from the word "periquito" (parakeet)
você pinta como eu pinto? (pun)
the translation to this one won't make sense at first, but basically it's like a little joke with the sentence "você pinta como eu pinto" and "você pinta com meu pinto" which are pronounced the same way. the first one means "do you paint like i paint" and the second means "do you paint with my dick" and it's like a little thing you trick people into saying "yes" or anything like that
se eu cozinho todo mundo come (pun)
same type of joke as the previous one. "se eu cozinho todo mundo come" (if i cook everyone eats) has the same pronunciation as "seu cuzinho todo mundo come" (everyone eats/fucks your ass)
list might grow in the future lol
edit to add one that i absolutely love:
nem fudendo - no fucking way
used when you can't believe something someone said
used as a more aggressive replacement to "no"

5 Social Sites and Online Games I Played Growing Up (゚▽゚*) ・‥…━━━★゚+.・‥…━━━★゚+.・‥…━━━★゚+・‥…━━━★゚+.・‥…━━━★
Tumblr media
> Cartoon Doll Emporium CDE for short, I believe was created in 2005 and officially shut down in 2019. The site started out as a simple forums and dress up site where there would be dress up dolls from other sources and original artists. It went through a few good many changes through out the years, even having a full avatar based system and membership. I remember you would collect points by playing the dress up games and mini games to spend on your avatar items. I never personally really participated in the events or the forums since I was still a teen and felt too shy or nervous. Sadly, due to the death of flash, many of the early site flash dolls that were more original and simple are no longer able to be played even through the archives.
Tumblr media
> Fantage Fantage was an online social site that I would compare to GaiaOnline. It was created in 2008 and officially shut down in 2018; I believe there is a single player/ private server somewhere that was created, but I've never looked or seen it myself so I can't say for sure! You had your avatar and a world to explore. Different parts of the map had different locations like a beach, city, etc.. You even had access to your own home where you could host parties with other players or join parties. This one also had a premium membership, I remember almost having the membership but was too discouraged by the price as a young child to actually ask for money for it lol. I did not do a lot of progression in the game but I just liked to hop on for the music and the vibes.
Tumblr media
> Tinier Me Tinier Me seems to have been created back in 2009 and it was officially shut down in 2012, with the forum shutting down in 2020 and the doll maker in 2021. Now it looks like there is a patreon for DreamSelfy, which would have been a successor to the original, but it doesn't look like it will ever reach it's goal. The last update for DreamSelfy was back in 2018 and it's been radio silence since. Now, Tinier me was an avatar dress up site (again similar to Gaia Online~) and you could even go out into the world and walk around to socialize with other players. It did have a premium money option and also a gacha system - and thus it was here that I was first exposed to gachas and I will forever be loyal to them now many years later. But I didn't care for the premium stuff very much, I just absolutely adored the style and cutesy anime look it had to it. I did play this one alongside GaiaOnline :) Now you may be thinking also, hm, those avatars looks sort of familiar don't they? Well you may be thinking of Cocoppa Play! They were both made by the same company and they still incorporate the original mascot for Tinier Me (Selfy) in Cocoppa Play for the more simple and common items in their gachas and game stores. Tinier me, my beloved, I miss you ♥

> Free Realms Okay, okay so maybe this one is borderline MMO and borderline social site, BUT, I used to really just play it as a social site so that is what it primarily was to me (∗  ❛ั ᵕ ❛ั ). Anyway, Free Realms was a massive multiplayer online game that was released back in 2009 and officially shut down in 2014. You may even remember seeing it's commercials play on tv alongside Wizard 101 and Toon Town, when 3D MMOs aimed at kids and young teens was at peak popularity and you would no doubt see those commercials ALL the time on tv. Now, I personally tried ToonTown and Wizard 101, but NOTHING got my attention like Free Realms. The game was my very first MMO and one of the games I miss the most thinking back at my childhood. The game provided you full freedom, with the option of doing anything and everything you wanted with no restriction on your class or job. Heck, you didn't have to do those things you could just be an explorer which means running around the maps finding secrets and tokens! Or just sit around and socialize with other players. I remember the game having constant seasonal and non seasonal events, plus the fact that you could choose if you did want to cook, fight, dungeon crawl, tailor, etc.. was so mind blowing to young me. And the music! Oh my god. The music. The soundtrack is available on Youtube and I highly recommend listening to it, it is so good. I'm gonna stop there, because I could go on and on and on about this game alone. It just means that much to me.

> Gaia Online
Of course after mentioning it twice I have to put it in here! Gaia was created way back in 2003 and is still active to this day. As you can tell by my profile pic below, I haven't updated my profile about 3 years since the last time I was super active was during the pandemic. But I always like to go on and off just to occasionally log in and see that it's still going and change my outfit. I don't remember when I joined Gaia, but I do know this is the my second account actually. I had an even older account that I could probably access if I tried really hard to find the email I used but it wouldn't matter since I did abandon that old account years ago for the current one so its okay :3 Gaia needs no real introduction as I'm sure many of you know about it and what it's all about. But basically, it's a social avatar site just like CDE and Tinier Me was. You have an avatar that you can dress up, a profile page where you can customize pretty freely especially if you knew how to make a sick Myspace page, an aquarium, a car and even pets (but only for the mini game!). Yes, Gaia has mini games and full length games within the site as well, the most infamous being Zomg, which was shut down in 2014 but then brought back again due to all the backlash from users. Be aware though, to play it you do need to download another browser that supports the hardware the game runs on as it does not run on regular browsers since Flash is gone. Another game that I actually enjoyed was Kindred Lake, which is where those pets would come into play. Gaia is also known for its extensive and active forums, weekly art contests and the world of Gaia where you can run around and talk with other players in a multitude of different maps. I have many memories of GaiaOnline and I'm glad that it's one of the sites that managed to stay alive and well all these years later, especially since the death of flash.

So I was thinking about making this a "Gaming Hot Take of the Day," but can't really do that when basically everyone is in agreement on this-Multiversus shutting down really just goes to show how a great concept with an okay execution, can result in terrible things when Live Service greed is involved.
So instead of making this a straight forward explanation of my take, I think I'd like to make this sort of a general overview of my disappointment. So lets start from the start, for those unaware I was actually a big BIG Smash bros fan and while I was never talented enough to play professionally, I still got involved in my local scene (though I gradually did drift away after the fanbase became very toxic to be around). So believe me when I say I am a massive fan of the concept of the crossover platform fighter. Platform fighters are often one of the most accessible types of fighting games for newcomers, and it allows a level of variety you just wouldn't normally get out of say a Street Fighter stage. And while its very VERY easy in a post Fortnite world to talk about how crossovers are becoming very cynical corporate cash grabs that dilute the original value of the work each one originates from, I can't deny that there will always be a charm to the crossover. And those who love these properties making use of them through the lease of a fighting game often shows.
And thus, we get to the real core of why platform fighters are often so under explored even with the success of smash. Getting a game that actually plays well that both professionals and casuals can enjoy, and having enough IP appeal to get casual audiences to try this game in the first place. A lot of smash clones seem to fumble one of these two things. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is clearly made with IP a bunch of people love and are no stranger to crossing over, but it was made as cheaply as possible. Then you have Rivals of Aether which absolutely offers a competitive alternative to Smash, but due to starring almost all original characters, it lacks the gimmicky hook of familiar characters duking it out.
So then we get to Multiversus. The WB crossover platform fighter. Not a DC platform fighter. Not a Cartoon Network platform fighter. Hell, not even a Midway All-Stars Battle Royale. But all of Warner Bros was allowed to converge in a single game. From various genres, mediums, and franchises this had the potential to have enough variety to rival Smash. But that's just IP, what about gameplay? Well while I think Multiversus was always too floaty and had way to many characters that could just combo infinitely, I do think the developers at Player First Games genuinely brought a unique, but not too unfamiliar, spin on the platform fighter. Add on the fact that this game is fully voiced with unique interactions and full on banter, you get something that isn't in Smash. They even managed to make the echo fighter concept interesting by having skins for characters like Joker be the Batman who Laughs that despite playing the same, the added voice lines actually do truly make this character seem like a new character even if its the exact same move set. So with all this going for it, what could go wrong? Welp, Live-Service.
That's right, instead of doing what most fighting games do of having a base package with a rollout of DLC, we went with a free to pay model where cosmetics, skins, backgrounds, emotes, and characters would cost fake currency you could exchange for real currency. Now this type of payment model isn't unreasonable in the world of online multiplayer games, and offering them for free then charging for features is common. This way the companies make money, while giving you the option to play the game for free. Well the thing is, often times, all those fun stuff like cosmetics, emotes, and characters are linked to how you play a game. You could conceivably play the game for free, but you'll never be able to play the full package of the game unless you were willing to spend so much time on the game or just spend money nickel-and-dime-ing everything.
And for me, that was the most disheartening thing. Part of the fun of smash bros is having the best toy box in video games. I might ever main Mario, but guess what I can play Mario whenever I want in whatever dumb resin he has. Taking away that option makes it feel less like you have a complete game than just having the bare essentials to complete the game. And that's when this game feels less like fun and more making a game where I am trying to extract enjoyment out of the pieces I can afford.
So the gameplay is not the tightest but passable, and the actual ability to play the game is extremely hamstringed. So hey, at least they had a great roster right? Now look, I want to make it clear, I don't hate the roster, I think Superman, Bugs, Steven Universe, etc. all deserve to be in one big crossover as the Super Warner Bros. But the fact that we were basically getting a new DC character every seasonal update, when this company owns franchises like The Matrix, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Conjuring, Clash of the Titans, ThunderCats, Austin Powers, Babylon 5, Rush Hour, Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, Ben 10, and Mortal Kombat, it feels lacking. There's been plenty of data leaks, and I think there could be a legitimate case made for a few characters not showing up, Emmet and Ruby because WB doesn't own those franchises any more. Gandalf and Harry Potter are ones where the IPs have a lot of outside influence and become a bit of a tangled web. But then some being held off on like the Wicked Witch of the West (who would even be prominently featured in the comic adaptation of Multiversus) feel so bizarre.
The one that hurt me the most was the rumored Scorpion playable character. Scorpion-the mascot of Nether Realm and the last surviving Midway Franchise. The character who has already shown up in other WB fighting gams-wasn't included. I don't even mind the idea some are advertisements like Beetlejuice coinciding with the second movie or Black Adam for... well Black Adam. But You'd at least have to give us something fun or unique that does get the hype going.
"But if it wasn't live service, could we even have the hype cycle?" Some may wonder. The answer is yes. Smash bros at this point has DLC announcements that literally make people devolve into full-blown speculation storms and glass-shattering soundoffs. So it is totally possible to make this game at a set price of lets say 49.99USD, with every post beta character included on it with some customization options , then offered seasons and cosmetics as dlc? That in my opinion would be a hundred percent reasonable.
But no. WB just had to have their own Fortnite. They couldn't be satisfied with just making WB Smash. They needed more of that money. With the victims of this is a game with a lot of potential being cut down after a year, the employees at Player First Games who did the best they could and clearly had plans who now are likely fearing for their jobs, and the players who did spend money on this only for it to become inaccessible. Was it worth it? Well, frankly no.
This news put in a bit of a mood as now I feel like I'm seeing the same story play out over and over again in the video game world. A team of developers have an idea for a cool thing, the publishers and owners want to extract as much value as possible of that thing as the can to the detriment of the experience, and then everything gets shutdown because it failed to meet projected sales.
Hopefully, whoever takes a stab at making the next Smash competitor learns from these mistakes.
