Because people get older and our bodies change! We aren't getting any younger. Our preferences and capabilities are also likely to change.

"But you used to do this! Have you forgotten?" Yeah, because a lot of stuff I've forgotten won't be so relevant to me now. If I were to remember a lot of the stuff I learned in Taekwondo years ago, I wouldn't be able to do them as efficiently as I used to. That's just how I'd describe it.
