rip cheese pizza, time to find another one~

I THOUGHT I FOUND A PIZZA I COULD EAT AT THE STORE CLOSEST TO MY APARTMENT AND GUESS WHAT???

NOPE~~~

IT HAS GELATINE IN IT~~~~

so disappointed~~~ totinos or whatever the brand is of pizza that is plain cheese, isn't vegetarian because it's got gelatin in it~~

my legally blind self thinking that it's just a cheese pizza, it'll be fine...

eat one, look at ingredients on the other one using a food scanner app, gelatin shows up, well crap... eat it too cause you don't want to waste 2.50 in food...

never buy that brand again and find a cheese pizza that doesn't have gelatin in it....

WHY??

I've been avoiding animal fat, gelatin, and everything else for the longest time....

hopefully one simple mistake doesn't make me a hypocrite cause I didn't know until now~~~

why is there gelatin in a cheese pizza??

MacCready being one of the few companions to not lose affinity if you eat people makes sense when you remember the fungus in Little Lamp Light grew from decomposing bodies. Like the kids weren’t eating people directly but they were eating people adjacent things.

Not to mention how the Lone Wanderer can trick the kids at LLL into buying “strange meat” to eat which is just human so it’s more likely than not they have just straight up ate people so he’s either very desensitized, knows what food desperation can do to people or feels he really has not ground to stand on since he was in the same boat whether he wanted to be or not.

#like everytime I think of little lamplight and MacCreadys backstory it gets more fucked up cause like #children are kinda like not treated as such in fallout due to the nature of the wastes and that leads to such fucked up events #like of all the companions I forget that MacCready really has never like had stability and it sure as hell affects his confusing affinity #gains and loses but also like I just ate a person and that’s wrong but he can’t say cause I bet he found out in cases where the player gave #the kids strange meat what it was and was horrified but feels bad because it was probably the only good meals the kids had their in a while #he struggles with the idea that he knows it’s helped them live and that he enjoyed it #again like there’s always one follower with like a super fucked up backstory and like next to Cait MacCready takes the cake for fallout 4 #just for how young he for all this to have happened and the responsibility he had #cause he’s like potentially the youngest next to piper? like he’s 22 #fallout #fallout 4 #fo4 #robert joseph maccready #like he shouldn’t be at the club he should be idk playing madden or cursing at people in a Fortnite lobby #maccready

Like literally everything else aside, killing off Izzy is dumb for, if not nothing else, the sole reason of wasting their best actor. Like Con is truly just something else.

Absolutely no shade to the rest of the cast (I mean that earnestly. I really love them all) but Con is just built different. He breathed life and love into a character that would not have been nearly as gripping if someone else had played him. His talent is honestly incredible. And not only that, he elevates the scenes of every other actor he’s with. His whole presence brings the show to another level for me.

Like…narrative be damned tbfh. If I were writing this show, I’d do ANYTHING to keep an actor that talented on my show. And killing him off DESPITE it also being bad for the narrative…well 🤐

I keep seeing all this stuff in Metroid fandom (and arguably from the creative team themselves) about Samus having a motherly bond with (voice) The Baby but, like, she handed that thing over to be dissected by military scientists SO fast. I could see her being surprised that it had formed such an attachment with her by the end of Super Metroid cuz yeah that was unexpected and weird. But chances are high she saved that last bby metroid with the intent of it being used for study and destroyed in the process.

It is funny imagining her going on parent/child bonding trips with the galaxy's second most dangerous life form though.

I don’t think I ever actually said this on here, basically for one of my mock english gcse exams for the “write a story” section I wrote a time travel / somewhere else jonmartin fic. literally. the prompt was “something surprising” I think, and I just went well. waking up in an alternate universe would be pretty damn surprising. and it was just jon waking up in bed with no scars and no eyepocalypse and going “wHEre’S mArTiN” and I got a grade 9 (A**). so yeah that happened
