okay guys i think it's poll time!!

i want to do something for the Halloween AU, not just character design sheets... however, i can't decide WHAT to do.

on one hand, i could write a one shot, and this could be the start of "holiday" one shots or au one shots for LoF? i plan on doing that anyway, but it feels awkward to start with the Halloween AU for some reason, so i'm a little hesitant. on the other hand, if i go and do a drawing, i'm struggling to figure out what to draw exactly. i want to get it done before Halloween but life might get in the way so i don't want it to be too big that i don't get it done yknow? (the character design sheets took me 9 hours...)

But on another topic: on a scale of 1 through 10, how fun was drawing that low angle when Hake says "fuck the tide"? It looks really good, but I just *know* I'd struggle with getting the face right

it was fun! I sketched the page for the first time in 2021, its been a scene i've been looking forward to.

I'm glad that ive learned how to push perspective a little further than I could a few years ago, i've always wanted it to be that nice low angle, but perspective is beyond me most of the time lol

in a similar vein as my last post. and also kinda like my secretly-a-hitman-ghost fic. soap unknowingly being roommates with a cryptid/creature™️

he is of the belief that ghost is just weird. soap doesn’t mind, of course, because they get along just fine, but he’s had friends make comments after meeting ghost that are well-meaning but serve a purpose of stating the obvious.

jokingly, they start theorizing that ghost isn’t human. that ghost is actually an alien trying to blend in. that he’s a vampire waiting for the right opportunity to suck soap’s blood. that he’s this and that; all sorts of dumb proposals that are more than likely not the truth, but are fun to suggest anyway. while ghost isn’t usually present during the conversations themselves, soap does relay some of the jokes, of which ghost will sometimes play into.

then they start dating. ghost is still weird, but soap has gotten used to it, has even started seeing some of his quirks as endearing. ghost still won’t admit to anything, not that there probably is anything to admit, however soap is okay with that. they don’t need to know every one of each other’s intricacies all at once.

soap just hopes the truth isn’t frightening—though he must admit it starts to get worrisome when ghost sometimes comes home smelling of blood.

Poll time! What's your personal headcanon for the proto-portal accident?

Do you believe that Jack and Maddie felt guilty or thought that Vlad was mad at them and that's why they never visited him in the hospital?

Or do you think that they actually did try to visit him, but weren't allowed in the hospital due to how contagious and unknown the ecto-acne disease was, and Vlad just didn't know about their attempts at visiting? Or they tried to visit but Vlad wouldn't let them in because he was mad at them at the time (and then got mad they didn't reach out later)?
