Happy Winter Solstice! ❄

This is the December painting for my 2025 calendar! I wanted to capture a very specific vibe - the feeling of starting an Animal Crossing game in Winter. There's something really special about all the empty space and pine trees, that makes me think of fresh starts and blank slates. It's why I almost made this my January piece instead!

I played this game so religiously at launch, I had to put it down til now - wanting to give it another chance pre-shutdown. And now I remember why!! It consumes my every waking moment!!
