Hi! I have been a huge fan of your art for a long while now; I hope this isn't terribly, horribly rude but do you know when/if commissions will be open again?

It's totally fine if the answer is "not for a long time/ever", I'm just curious because I would love to commission you one day.

Rather, I'd like to open them again, but I need to be thoughtful about how and when I do it.

recently, the internet landscape has helped shed some light on the subject of ADHD, how it affects people, what forms it can take, and i have had some revelations regarding my relationship to it.

namely that i very . very likely,,, have it.

not sure why it never occurred to me despite having siblings and cousins with it, but either way.

What matters here is that sometimes, my brain constructs a wall of agony around doing a commission. Seemingly at random, it'll hit me with a constant button press of "not gonna! wrong! stop!" I never understood why. I had previously thought that I'd just been having some sort of temporary funk, and that one day I'd wake up and it would just. not be there. Y'know, like my executives would function.

So... it has been common for some very patient, sweet, compassionate commissioners to have waited months, even years before they received what they'd rightfully paid for.

... I hate that I'm capable of that. I don't want to be That Guy.

After having recontextualized the problem from 'temporary haze' to 'state of being' it's been easier to recognize what I need to do.

If I open commissions again, I need to figure out a way to keep ADHD brain from forming walls around the task. One thing I've decided for certain is that I've gotta switch to a multi-payment method. Ergo, the commissioner would pay a little up front, and the rest when I finish. Other than that though, I've been drawing a blank.

Until I get that settled, my commission status will remain in limbo.

Hal-an-Tow by halsinator A classic sex pollen fic, though arguably the sex pollen is only in the first chapter and gone after that. I love all of halsinator's fics--they're INCREDIBLE character work and the way that emotions are described are just top notch. It's so deft. Look at this, this is one of the most romantic things I've ever read and i'm about to chew glass for these two regency era dumbasses.

When Segundus opened his eyes, he saw that he had not imagined this strange idea. Childermass was indeed holding his hand, and was gazing at him with a tremendously complicated expression. It was both serious and unserious at the same time, as though he had been surprised in the middle of laughter by the sight of something quite solemn. Segundus could not really parse it out. He felt ill-equipped for the task of doing so.

The Eccentricities of his Profession by euromagpie + A Very Starecross Christmas by euromagpie The JS&MN fandom had its peak in 2015 when BBC released the tv adaptation. Newer writers now get way less comments and kudos compared to the ones written ten years ago, so I really want to shout out this series that's being actively updated right now. The historical accuracy is SO GOOD. More than any other fic these truly capture life in early 1800s in Yorkshire, which runs from mummers plays to Christmas charades to the use of tinderboxes (matches have not been invented yet!! people always forget!!). It has a scene where Childermass speaks in Yorkshire dialect! Segundus gets wrapped up in the Johannite rebellions! I'm fucking obsessed

THE WINX CHRONICLES

I love listening to longer content, but these days, I am super picky. I multi-task, but I am fairly good at actually listening to the content. It can't just be music or a random podcast. It has to interest me.

Yet, I haven't really met content I needed to stop and put down what I am doing before getting into the Winx Club fandom. I first watched the show as a pre-teen back when Nickolodeon aired the fourth season. {I can go on about that day and the fandom overall, but it's better saved for another rant?}

This is.. well. Magical. I listened to the Winx Forever Podcast over and over again, completely obsessed even if Lola absolutely demolished the Rai dub. {Both have their great moments and flaws. But that's coming from someone that saw the Nick dub first.}

Then. The Winx Chronicles. She recommends great things in her podcast. But none are on Spotify, which I use during work hours. Now, with a break, I can truly explore outside and by my stars... it's beautiful. The audio version on YouTube is simply divine! So much care and love for the show is poured into this project. Voices I recognize planting images in my head about the world I had stuck in my mind since my youth.

It has a lot of content, I found myself fully listening into the first act that was released a little over a week ago as of now. The changes and shifts in the story. The way you can still pick up parts of the original show, including the Kids dub, and yet its brand new. It's more mature but still leans heavily into the magic of it all. More lore and answers are being answered. With a few mysteries promised to be solved.

I am growing to love the fandom more and more. I simply find myself in love with the Winx Chronicles, even just the audio version. Maybe I should sit down and read when things die down for me?

I am still searching for more content. I want to be able to support more projects such as these. Sadly, I have left a lot of social media platforms and would prefer not to go back to them due to personal reasons. For now, I will repeat the ones I have gathered even as I memorize them word for word.

There's not much I can say to really express my growing love for this fandom... it's just.. winx

Expanding on the Woozi sugar daddy bit, I can picture it because of that clip of him just giving Vernon his BLACK CARD without hesitation. Also important to note is that he just literally carries it around in his pocket. He does not give a single fuck.
