ok but how do you define a hole
so glad you asked!
topology isnt like geometry - you can mold and stretch a solid torus/donut (distinct from a torus - thats a common mistake because the average person throwing this fun fact around doesnt actually know what a torus is) into a drinking straw or a coffee mug (the kind with a handle) and you havent actually altered its topological properties. it still has 1 hole - as in, 1 enclosed space, or 1 opening that passes all the way through the object. however you want to conceptualize it. it can be reduced down to a 2d circle by thinning it out, but not to a point without breaking the circle into a line segment.
this is a massive oversimplification btw. topology isnt really about holes in shapes, in the same way that a vector isnt really an arrow - thats just the way novices tend to conceptualize it (speaking as a novice myself) before you get deep into the kind of higher-dimensional abstraction that happens in advanced math. i said earlier that the pacman play space (or any other video game where the left side wraps around to the right side and the top wraps around to the bottom) is the same as a torus - obviously you arent literally playing on the surface of a donut, but if you took a rectangular plane and connected the opposite sides, a torus is the shape you get. on a plane, you cant walk in a straight line and end up back where you started. on a torus you can. moving in pacman is the same as moving on a torus is the same as moving along the surface of a coffee cup. (this is also where things like mobius strips and klein bottles come in. its interesting stuff!)
and this time i do mean a torus, not a solid torus - a torus is hollow. its the 2d surface of a donut. and since its hollow, that means it has more holes!
thats right babyyyyy we've got higher-dimensional holes! welcome to topology!!! (again this is an oversimplification - the pictures are from the wikipedia page for homology if you want a little more context)
so. topologically: the map of pacman has 3 holes. a basketball has 1 hole, unless it has a hole in it, in which case it has no holes. cutting a hole in a net reduces the number of holes. i think youll agree that this is a completely nonsensical way to conceptualize a hole (which is why its not even really conceptualized that way in topology - well. that and the fact that holes higher than 2 dimensional are kind of beyond our ability to conceptualize. not to mention how grossly oversimplified it is.....), and anyone who uses the "well, topologically speaking....." argument is being pedantic, or perhaps using it as an excuse to bring up topology (or just to sound smart). a mathematical definition is not really all that useful here!
so. how many holes does a straw have? is a hole a tunnel (like a donut hole) or an opening (like a hole in the ground)? is the opening of a cup a hole? how about the opening of a bottle? topologically these questions have unambiguous answers. linguistically they dont. a straw has one hole all the way through. or it has a hole at the top and one at the bottom. trying to prescribe a precise, unambiguous definition to any word is a fools errand. however many holes you think a straw has is the correct answer. hope this helps 👍
#man. writing this made me realize i truly know nothing at all about topology#i wish i could remember what youtube videos introduced this stuff to me. it was probably numberphile#i definitely remember there being one about the dimensionality of holes#oh and there was one where a guy had a handmade glass klein bottle (well. the self-intersecting 3d approximation anyway)#man. i used to watch their videos religiously in middle school......#anyway! hope you enjoyed the topology crash course :3 i definitely had fun trying to parse the wikipedia pages about it lol#spins around#biggie answers

My Random-Ass Headcanon Lore Compilation That Nonetheless Does (Mostly) Tie Together, Part 1
aka, My Personal Star Wars "Theory of Everything" that's more than a little deranged and I'm putting it out there in hopes that somebody else would like to foam at the mouth over it as much as I do
If you thought midichlorians were bad, buddy you ain't seen nothing yet
(if it helps, just imagine bill wurtz is narrating this)
HISTORY OF THE ENTIRE GALAXY, I GUESS
So in Legends EU - which frankly, if you're gonna do weird shit in the star war, at least the old EU had panache - the ancient proto-Jedi were called the Je'daii and TL;DR, got started after some flying pyramids called Tho Yor showed up all across the galaxy to, uh, benevolently abduct Force sensitives from many different species and dump them on a magic planet in the heart of the galaxy called Tython, where they studied the Force.
The Tho Yor were implied to be creations of a super-advanced alien species (who may have even been from a different galaxy). However, in my nonsense reality, the Tho Yor are instead the hyper-evolved forms of beings who used to be regular people of various species that spent such a long time in intense contemplation of the Force, their existence transcended the 4 perceptible dimensions of space and time and the corresponding laws of physics. Think the bulk beings from Interstellar except instead of totally peacing out of reality apart from their wormholes and tesseracts, the Tho Yor still somewhat hang around as "ships." Due to a sort of "sacred geometry" they chose to take on a pyramidal shape as their default, but my Tho Yor are fluid in their quasi-physical forms, shifting into any number of other configurations. At one point I have a Tho Yor shifting into the dodecahedral shape of what's recognized as being the Great Holocron, implying that that's what inspired the holocron's design. Their surface is a glossy dark iridescent material segmented almost like scales, sometimes rippling in an organic motion - think the skin of an indigo snake, or the oily rainbow sheen of a crow's or raven's feathers. The glowing portals on their hulls are also irregular, pulsating and changing size, shape, and color in a complex display of communication.
Because the Tho Yor are extra-dimensional, they can not only alter their shape, they're just plain not limited to anything perceivable in the 4D realm; like a TARDIS, they're infinitely "bigger on the inside" because they can serve as portals to higher dimensions. They're able to teleport anywhere instantaneously in a form of travel that's a much further advanced version of what serves as hyperspace for the GFFA (implying that, as Legends itself establishes about hyperspace, it's a not-well-understood reverse-engineered form of space travel constructed by powerful beings and left behind for other people to sort of figure out later on, just enough to be able to utilize it but never fully comprehend it). The Tho Yor sort of fold themselves up, collapsing and vanishing into higher dimensions, then pop back out wherever they please, causing major atmospheric displacement when doing so. (aka, it's really fucking LOUD.) Ramiel from Neon Genesis Evangelion's Rebuild edition is also a huge inspiration for my version of the Tho Yor, just, y'know...minus the catastrophic destruction lol.
Sort of.
Because while my Tho Yor are not weaponized per se, they're not defenseless. They're peaceful - a Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, never for attack - BUT if a Tho Yor is threatened or "damaged" (which isn't actually possible but they could appear to be temporarily harmed if, say, bombed or blasted with turbolasers, etc.), they simply open themselves up like an eldritch origami flower and dissolve and absorb whatever the fuck is attacking them. This feeds (pardon the pun) into the Force's greater cosmic philosophy of the balance of life and death. Life is valuable and precious as it is what generates the Force and keeps it flourishing, but without death more life can't exist, so sometimes you gotta break some eggs and recycle them and it's fine in the grand scheme of things, even though it seems very much NOT fine on the microcosmic scale of people on planets. It's the ciiiiiiiiiiiiircle of liiiiiiiiiiiiiife.
Another feature of their shapeshifting is using it to communicate with non-Force-sensitives. They can stretch, bud, and liquify parts of their hulls, transforming them into any possible material, to display something recognizable to that person as a means of expressing, you are known to us. For example, one of the Tho Yor signals to a wary, defensive Din Djarin by extending a tendril toward him that first transforms into raw beskar, and then into the deep red cloth of his boyhood garb on Aq Vetina, acknowledging his whole identity and freaking the fuck out of him even more lol.
That's not all about the Tho Yor, tho. Since once upon a very distant time they used to be people...
...they're also the Whills.
Thus the Tho Yor/Whills are hyper-beings with godlike powers who only exercise those abilities to observe galactic events for the sole purpose of recording all of history, without intervening apart from that one time they decided to kickstart mass organization of Force users. Occasionally, when certain strongly attuned Force users die, they will approach them within the cosmic soup of the Force and offer to have them join their ranks as a fellow observer.
(One of these was Anakin Skywalker, who was considered a "Chosen One" because he experienced the full gamut of good and evil in his deeds and thus is considered a particularly knowledgeable being. In one of my WIPs, Anakin - whose spirit exists as a sort of tesseract of all his personas, including all the people he could have been but was not - is actually considering their offer as a sort of self-flagellating punishment, to make himself bear witness to the heat death of the universe, the greatest torment to his soul that he deserves for his crimes. But Luke - who's tripping balls in the Force and has been taken on a wild ride by the Tho Yor/Whills - simply tells him, "You don't have to, though. You could come with me." Luke, who readily confesses to the Whills that he couldn't tolerate standing on the cosmic sidelines watching the universe continue to suffer, prefers to live out his natural life and just become one with the Force, ceding his individual consciousness to the spiritual sea. The philosophical journey he's taken on is actually a great relief to him, to grasp how infinitesimally tiny he is in the immeasurable scale of time and how the galaxy will still spin long after he's dead and all memory of him has been erased. It makes the crushing responsibility of restoring the Jedi Order feel like a lighter burden, because no matter what he does or doesn't accomplish, it'll be okay eventually. Things will work out. Cycles ebb and flow. There will be countless others after him with similar burdens, more golden ages to come, more wars, more times of peace, more catastrophes and tragedies, and so it goes. He's just a blip, and he can live with that. And Anakin inflicting almost-eternal misery upon himself isn't going to fix any of the wrongs he did. He can still make amends from the hard-earned wisdom he's gained from beyond the mortal plane, but he's welcome to join Luke in equally mortal existence, following Obi-Wan and Yoda who've already "crossed over" and given up their own consciousness.)
All things must be, and all things will end, the Whills state. That is the great promise. And indeed they will, because with the Force dependent on life, there will eventually be a time when the decaying universe, bereft of anything except evaporating black holes, can no longer support life of any kind, and thus even the Force itself will come to an end, and the journals of the Whills will be complete.
The Force itself may seem to have a "will," but I personally prefer it to be a largely unknowable and unpersonified entity. I don't espouse the view of The Ones from Mortis being embodiments of the Force. If anything, I like to conceive of the Force more along the lines of the fractal alien from Annihilation:
An ambiguous essence that straddles the line between benevolence and callousness, because it functions at a level outside the scope of living comprehension.
Do you not know that you were born in violence? the Whills ask. That without the deaths of stars, the cradles of your worlds and the elements in your blood could not exist? Without the abyss of singularities as their engines, your galaxies could not coalesce? Without decay, whole living systems could not proliferate? Matter itself arose from a cosmic crucible. Death has allowed you to live.
I also like to picture the realm of the Cosmic Force as a fractal tapestry a la melodysheep's drug-trip visuals:
All living things in the universe displayed in shrimp colors, each strand an individual lifeform, unfurling and budding as their lifespan stretches out, evaporating upon their death while another filament snaps into place with the birth of a new one, from bacteria to megafauna and everything in-between.
*As a side note, I also have some vague desire to connect the Force with quantum physics/entanglement and maybe even electromagnetism. I mean, if George Lucas envisioned a space version of The Powerhouse of the Cell™ as magic Force germs inside of everybody, I don't think it's any crazier to imagine the Force as having a relationship to quantum physics as a means to sort of explain how some people can become psychic bathrobe glowstick wizards with the power to move shit with their brains, feel others' emotions, have clairvoyance, and perceive some things across vast interstellar distances. I don't mind a spiritual concept having an interrogation with scientific principles, I just like shit to be as weird as possible.
#hi my mind palace is more like a radioactive flaming dumpster#welcome in just don this biohazard suit#tune in next time for some more insane bullshit#thanks for letting me charlie day all over your dash#my meta#the force#the whills#star wars

Let's (re)Read The Great Hunt! Chapter 37: What Might Be
Everyone has that moment that they've looked back on and wonder, "What if I'd done it differently?" Sometimes we can move on, put what-ifs to rest, but sometimes that question will haunt us for the rest of our lives. Don't let this post be that moment. Don't let future you think to themself, an hour from now, "What if I just hadn't spoiled the whole Wheel of Time series for myself by reading this post? What if I'd enjoyed the books by reading them without spoilers?" Don't click "Keep reading" unless you already know all the spoilers and thus will not forever be wondering.
(And yet... perhaps if you do not choose to spoil yourself, years from now you will look back on this moment and wonder what might have happened if you had.)
This chapter has a Portal Stone icon because we're doing one of the best chapters in the whole damn series.
“We stood it upright,” Alar said, “when we found it many years ago, but we did not move it. It . . . seemed to . . . resist being moved.”
Probably the Stones are all entangled in some sort of higher dimensional quantum process, on one part just to be able to function at all and on another to ensure that no one warps off to an alternate world where it turns out that the Stone was tossed into a volcanic caldera a few years back and thus they instantly die. I wonder if there's wiggle room to allow stuff like Stones falling in one world but not another, or if they're all so tied up that reorienting it in one world caused it to be fixed in all of the others too.
Forgive us for our lack of ceremony in leaving you, but the Wheel waits for no woman.
Since I've given Jordan a bit of guff here and there for enforcing his own gender beliefs on the settings, point here for having Verin use "woman" as the default term. Hashtag HER-story, amirite?
Ingtar’s back stiffened. “I hold back at nothing. Take us to Toman Head or take us to Shayol Ghul. If the Horn of Valere lies at the end, I will follow you.”
Really you might argue that this here was the real moment of redemption for Ingtar and that all the rest is just the formality of seeing it through.
I have never used a Stone; that is why your use is more recent than mine.
"Bitch I'm just covering so no one has to know you're the Dragon Reborn. Do the plot thing already!"
Also I kinda feel that Verin is really stretching the oaths she's pretending to have here.
What would I not give to talk with this girl of yours? Or better, to put my hands on her book. It is generally thought that no copy of Mirrors of the Wheel survived the Breaking whole. Serafelle always tells me there are more books that we believe lost than I could credit waiting to be found.
Honestly, even though rumors are so rarely right in this world, I think popular opinion is correct and none survive. I also find it pretty doubtful that there's that many lost books left to be recovered at this point: three and a half thousand years is a long-ass time, too long for most forms of writing to survive.
Apparently, not every Stone connects to every world, and the Aes Sedai of the Age of Legends believed that there were possible worlds no Stones at all touched.
Among others, any timeline where a Portal Stone was never constructed would by definition remain off of the network. I wonder how they decide what Stones connect to what, though. Was it perhaps based on what ifs related to the nearby areas? What other worlds were missing?
With one finger she outlined a rectangle containing eight carvings that were much alike, a circle and an arrow, but in half the arrow was contained inside the circle, while in the others the point pierced the circle through. The arrows pointed left, right, up and down, and surrounding each circle was a different line of what Rand was sure was script, though in no language he knew, all curving lines that suddenly became jagged hooks, then flowed on again.
I expect that these worlds have extremely non-Euclidean geometries at play, based on how they were used to make the Ways. Likely the arrow has something to do with a physical force, probably gravity.
As my father would have said, it’s time to roll the dice.
Headcanon: Mat is Verin's dad reborn.
“I am Rand al’Thor,” he growled. “I am not the Dragon Reborn. I won’t be a false Dragon.” “You are what you are. Will you choose, or will you stand here until your friend dies?”
As I've said before, the one thing Rand's not allowed to do is stand still: every time he does the pressure only mounts until he has to act. Verin at least offers the kindness of spelling it out for him.
The flame consumed fear and passion and was gone almost before he thought to form it. Gone, leaving only emptiness, and shining saidin, sickening, tantalizing, stomach-turning, seductive. He . . . reached for it . . . and it filled him, made him alive. He did not move a muscle, but he felt as if he were quivering with the rush of the One Power into him.
After all this time, I still can't decide if being a channeler would be really awesome or really awful.
“Father!” Rand screamed. Clawing his belt knife from its sheath, he threw himself over the table to help his father, and screamed again as the first sword ran through his chest.
Though of course the Mirror Worlds take from the Many Worlds Theory, we must remember that they're not actually the same. The Many Worlds Theory is a way of resolving one of the fundamental mysteries of quantum mechanics. When not observed, particles don't have discrete locations but probabilites of being here, there, or even over there. These odds are called a "waveform". When observed, the waveform collapses and the particle is only in one of those places. The thing scientists don't get yet is the mechanic of that collapse nor the reason. Many Worlds Theory says "The collapse is an illusion. All of those possibilities exist somewhere but since we can only exist in one place we can only ever observe one possibility. All worlds continue on, none with more value or reality than any other except in that those who exist in only one must favor where they are."
This is not what the Mirror Worlds are. The Pattern of Ages is a specific framework which dictates one reality (T'A'R) reigns supreme above all the others, and that among these the closest reflection (the Prime Reality) is inherently more valid than the increasingly distorted copies.
In Many Worlds theory, one can discuss the relative probabilties of different timelines. One location for a particle might have had a 2/3rds chance of being the real one while the other two were each only a sixth. Amid the Mirror Worlds, there's no such thing. T'A'R and the Prime reality each have a 100% chance of being true and all other worlds have a 0% chance of happening.
That said, the Wheel does seem to think some Mirror Worlds are more plausible than others, and I think Rand's journey is - at least at first - moving in order of descending plausibility. Him dying immediately when the story began is a very "likely" outcome - to some degree more likely than other potential deaths later in the timeline just because in each of those scenarios Rand had a little more experience to keep him going.
There was a year when neither merchants nor peddlers came, and when they returned the next they brought word that Artur Hawkwing’s armies had come back, or their descendants, at least.
It's bizarrely heartening to think that even the Seanchan invasion will completely miss that the Two Rivers exists.
Also note that this world - where Rand is never found by Fain or Moiraine and never leaves as a result - seems next most likely amid the categories.
Egwene grew frightened when the moods were on him, for strange things sometimes happened when he was at his bleakest—lightning storms she had not heard listening to the wind, wildfires in the forest—but she loved him and cared for him and kept him sane, though some muttered that Rand al’Thor was crazy and dangerous.
I wonder what happened to this Egwene that she accepts the Two Rivers life without complaint while Rand is forever ranting about how life should be. I also do think that the haters should remember that this is the "no inciting incident" default Egwene: a caring person who stays with Rand until the end. The pair grow apart because of outside forces, not because Egwene is fundamentally flawed as a person.
Women came, too, shouldering what weapons they could find, marching alongside the men. Some laughed, saying that they had the strange feeling they had done this before.
This is both nice foreshadowing for how the Two Rivers folk will respond to the real Shadowspawn invasion and another hint of the old blood amid the people. It would not be surprising at all if many of them were truly the last of Manetheren reborn.
Tam tried to console Rand when Egwene took sick and died just a week before their wedding.
The nextmost implausible sort of world: no inciting incident and Rand survives his channeling sickness but Egwene does not. Being a slightly mainer character than she is, it tracks that this is more plausible than a world where he dies young while she stays on track to be Wisdom.
Elayne did not look at him, of course; she married a Tairen prince, though she did not seem happy in it.
I'd be upset too in this position. What a strange world this is, that a gal who should be the first Aes Sedai queen in centuries should end up married to anyone from Tear. What the fuck is going on at the White Tower to lead to this? I would guess that the reason Moiraine didn't find Rand is that Siuan isn't Amyrlin and that whoever is in charge instead has run the place into the ground.
Also, assuming "prince" means "son of a High Lord or Lady", if not "High Lord" directly, I wonder which horrible family Elayne is stuck with.
He knew he was mad, and did not care. A wasting sickness came on him, and he did not care about that, either, and neither did anyone else, for word had come that Artur Hawkwing’s armies had returned to reclaim the land.
1. It seems that this Rand is doomed to never be able to complete his character development without the actual plot happening.
2. What's delayed the Seanchan by years if not a decade? How far back does this timeline's divergence have to be to account for all of this?
Many of the people of Caemlyn had fled already, and many counseled the army to retreat further, but Elayne was Queen, now, and vowed she would not leave Caemlyn. She would not look at his ruined face, scarred by his sickness, but he could not leave her, and so what was left of the Queen’s Guards prepared to defend the Queen while her people ran.
I expect that this was foreshadowing Caemlyn's importance in the Last Battle, an importance that Sanderson didn't fully follow up on. Even in this life, Rand finds himself head of an army by Elayne's side leading a desperate last stand.
I have won again, Lews Therin. Flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker flicker.
There's some great details in the paragraph that precedes this bit, much too much to analyze. It says a great deal about the central nature of Rand to the Pattern that he can have so many bizarre outcomes: I expect no one else in the party had anywhere near so much variety in their lives.
We also get confirmation that Rand is Aiel, which is nice, though it's sad that the closest thing to a reference Aviendha gets in this procession is "women he had never seen before".
Of course, Rand's lovers aren't the important part here. Elayne and Min get mentioned but it is Egwene who receives a similar multi-faceted fate. So often she is a central figure in his life; she can't help but be his opposite even when their lives have gone horribly off-script.
And of course, our iconic line. The Dark One wins again and again, but like I already said: none of these worlds have even a 0.00000000000000000000000000000001 percent chance of happening. None of these victories matter in the slightest.
“Does it surprise you that your life might go differently if you made different choices, or different things happened to you? Though I never thought I—Well. The important thing is, we are here. Though not as we hoped.”
I desperately wish I had the slightest idea what Verin had seen in her procession. Were there worlds where she avoided the Black Ajah altogether, or worlds where she happily threw in with them? Maybe a world where she poisoned Cadsuane, or one where she was in Moiraine's place and threw Lanfear through the twisted red door?
You should not have tried to bring us directly here. I don’t know what went wrong—I don’t suppose I ever will—but from the trees, I would say it is well into late autumn.
Presumably it's the nature of those arrow worlds. I've joked about the Ways being akin to the inside of a black hole and suggested that they had strange geometry and I expect this is proof. They did come instantly but it also took four months by another spacetime's reckoning.
“Rand, I’d never tell anyone about—about you. I wouldn’t betray you. You have to believe that!”
It's true! Mat doesn't do that in this reality and none of the other ones count. But I do think he was tempted at points. Not enough to go through with it (and he had no real opportunity to do so), but still. Now though, that door is permanently closed.
The curly-haired youth dropped his hands from his face with a sigh. Red marks scored his forehead and cheeks where his nails had dug in. His yellow eyes hid his thoughts.
Wolf boy here probably had one hell of a time in the pack. Or perhaps he just got out of that weird timeline where he mistakes Laila for a Trolloc.
Rand backed away when she reached for him. “Don’t be foolish,” she told him. “I don’t want your help,” he said quietly. “Or any Aes Sedai help.” Her lips twitched. “As you wish.”
1. I expect that nearly everyone has now forgotten a good deal of the experience thanks to Verin's help, which ironically helps Rand even though he doesn't want it.
2. Verin must really chafe at the sheer ingratitude of this, considering just how much she's doing for the dumb boy.
3. That's the end of our chapter folks! Next time: Remember Egwene? She still exists!

Seeing this dismissive attitude towards math and geometry is genuinely both upsetting and unsurprising. Our entire (non-Euclidean) universe is described by the very same objects that I see abundantly in this game: triangles, circles, trees, squares, lines, points and their higher-dimensional analogues. For instance, humans perceive musical pitches in a periodic pattern; doubling the frequency of a note will cause it to become an octave higher, which retains the same pitch class. We'd like to express a lot of other pitches in between, though, so we decide that there will be twelve "equal" steps to reach the octave from our root note. By equal, I mean that the ratio of a step to the step below it remains the same between all such adjacent-step pairings. In this case, it's the twelfth root of two. Ah, look. It's a geometric progression, straight from your algebra class! We could go even further. The octave and the root note have the same pitch class. In a sense, they are equivalent, but not truly equal. We may express the pitch class of a note with the modulo 12 function (also from grade school math). Intuitively, we want notes of the same pitch class to be in the same "location", but notes that are similar in frequency (but not identical) should be close to each other. The result is a circle. I'm going to hazard an educated guess and state that nobody who is reading this is interested in what I just said. That's fair. Regardless, I will incredulously assume that you maybe were curious about the musical interval defined by the points on the diameter of this imaginary "musical circle". That is a tritone, colloquially known as the "devil's interval". It does not sound very pleasant. Yet, it is ubiquitous to jazz and heavy metal music. Classically, it was generally used sparingly to build and release tension. I hypothesize that the Pythagoreans--voracious scholars of music--were exceptionally pissed by the tritone because the ratio between its constituent pitches happens to be the square root of two, whose proof of irrationality caused them to condemn its creator to death. Or, was Hippasus killed for merely spilling the beans? They were pretty fucking mental. I don't really know how to conclude this. Right. I continue to learn about math not just because it is good for me, but because it is beautiful. I concede that I do not have the ability to install in anyone else a passion such as mine. Ergo, this pensive rambling is destined to fall into oblivion.
Anon it is 12 what is this

2023/09/17 Update - MM is now a complete constructed language
I have put it off for a while but I broke my MM^3 hymen. I didn't intend to agency wise but it is just another predicted PQ/CB milestone that would have happened soon or later. There is six main branches and thirty six sub branches which means that there are probably 216 arbitrary branches if I got my math right. So in total there are 258 non combinatorial end points. I have noticed just by the internal logic of how the MM was designed that combinatorial endpoints just make intuitive sense somehow. I also have diffraction branch loci that are either one M in length or they have some non integer length of one relative M which is essentially a fractal structure. Both approaches to mentally reconstructing the MM have their own benefits. The clearest distinction that fractal branching is clearly non combinatorial as the end points are unique in space and integer M lengths are clearly can be taken as combinatorial or non combinatorial. I don't really need to encode all of the 258+ branches, I am not even considering the fact that I expanded the MM base system to at least a decimal base ten system and it doesn't cover non modal encoding and cryptography. It is clear that the MM is now a fully actualized constructed language given the fact that I have encoded qualia and concepts into M-theory shapes. The amusing thing is that I am intentionally misinterpreting string theory and how to actually how to model higher spatial dimensions than five as it just makes codification so much easier and now it is next to impossible for EVs to get a handle on IO's and SM's machinations now from what I gather of their capabilities.
MM has generative grammar, displacement, an established vocabulary, semantics, and clear ontology for standard communication across many non modal domains. It is a language now officially and I am pretty sure I am the only one who knows it. Even if it has been replicated and I have encoded the schema for that in exocognition, no one is likely to have the exact same ME00xx as me or qualia/intertextuality so effectively MM is both a interpersonal and intrapersonal language which I think has never been done before. It also seems to utilize different areas of cognition and neuro anatomy than typical languages and seems to "run on different pathways".
``I was thinking about what my interpretation of quantum theory would be based upon my current understanding and it would be both accepting and rejecting Copenhagen (CH) and Many Worlds (MW).
CH may initially be the only one may matter on first thought as our middle earth collapsed "global wavefunction" is the only one we will ever exist in. MW has been degraded often because it is messy and wasteful however as an axiom you can rule out considering all branches that don't follow the causality in our observable universe (the boundary between offshoots is unknown) just setting a multiverse axis of directional arrow of time and ignoring all other possibilities. Each plank second every quantized chromodynamic state change or particle interactions described by a generic Feynman diagram can be a branching point in which a new dimension gets created.
Dimension in this state is literally just a new axis of values of which the state change branch is described.
Cranking out models for this may lead to the conclusion that this many worlds dimensional projection of state variation will lead to a meta model where parallel universes, limited by expanded causality can be reverse models by just stepping down quantised steps until (a lot of steps in funky geometries) to the point were it it may be feasible to choose a meta clusters of branch points to a model a universe where literally a solid gestalt choice for you to keep thinking about this entry was enacted or not.
Selecting parameters could be done with funky neural net stuff like this
youtube
An important AOI between CH and MW is the weighting on self actualization pressure and memetic dominance. If MW is accurate all I need to is to maximize my future potential for actualization in the current moment or near future. If CH is accurate then I have to actually constantly for fill my potential which means sacrificing focusing on transitional skills and cognitive servomechanisms and specializing far more
It is pretty easy to construct the M-brane representations of qualia using this method. All you have to do is just define an arbitrary set of shapes and train an generative AI to associate them with qualia. The AI doesn't even need to experience or perceive the qualia, it is purely an associative enterprise. Varying one parameter of each of the arbitrary cardinal M-branes will leaded to a sort of library of babble esq data base of most possible qualia experienced by humans, potential qualia that might be experienced in the future, as well as derive arbitrary qualia in the case where https://www.businessinsider.com/what-is-blue-and-how-do-we-see-color-2015-2 is evident. This will also define "impossible qualia" that we can't perceive directly like https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Impossible_color

As context, i have made a scifi ttrpg campaign that i actively add too, and would like to develop into a story in a different format
here are some more technobabbles from my campaign’s companion discord
Artificial Gravity
there are a few different was to achieve artificial gravity, although a large number of spaceships are made without any artificial gravity at all. it is considered essential throughout the galaxy for comfortable and/or extended space travel, however most space travel is not leisurely.
Rotational simulated gravity is the most common artificial gravity. it is a spinning tube or ring where centrifugal forces simulate gravity. this is the method used by the interstellar alliance that humans are a part of, and by others with primitive technology
broad graviton paneling creates gravity for a whole ship originating from a plane. ships using this method are usually organized into decks or floors like a terrestrial structure. usually at the center deck of the ship, crossing the plane will flip the direction of the gravity. This method is used by the largest interstellar empire in the milky way
localized graviton paneling creates gravity relevant to only one or two decks. places with gravity need not be synchronized with one another, and thus can bend and twist around and contradict in ways that would give an observer a headache. this method has the benefit of being adjusted actively to the needs of the gravity user, but it is also the most energy costly. this is used by the weird star trek larp aliens
Graviton acceleration is the process of exaggerating an object's mass for the purposes of gravity. ships using this method usually have gravity centering on a single point like a small planet. The evil intergalactic empire of vampires use this method.
Paradoxical Relativism uses parageo machinery to simulate gravity. its as tho centrifugal forces were pulling you down, but the manifestation of this motion in normal space is nonexistent or negligible. this method produces strange and almost absurdist 3D maps. it is used by the funny benevolent aliens.
Parageo
stands for Paradoxical Geometry. put simply, it is a shape that cant exist, but does anyway. it is as tho a slice of a four dimensional object were in the third dimension, but in such a way that a three dimensional force can rotate it on it's four dimensional axis. this technology is used for a multitude of purposes, but the main two are deflector-breaching weapons, and hyperspace ingition.
deflector shields make it all but impossible for things moving through normal space to hit the shielded object. Parageo weapons overcome this by complicating space. akin to going around the shields in a higher dimension.
hyperspace ignition uses a little break in the fabric of space to allow a ship to slip into hyperspace. a parageo object is the most common means by which to do this.
sophisticated attacks
make up the vast majority of attacks in the vast majority of space ship battles. they are also used fairly often in terrestrial battles, and even sometimes in person v person combat. sophisticated attacks have some kind of shield-busting technology. spaceship shielding is almost invulnerable to normal attacks regardless of their power. high-speed micro astroids, solar radiation , and other such natural dangers bounce harmlessly off of even the most basic of spaceship shields. spaceship projectile weapons use technology specifically designed to overcome shields, and thus can not simply be classical lazers and ballistics. these projectiles require very advanced and costly machinery, where destroying an unshielded object is just a matter sharing with it for a moment a little bit of the immense power that it takes to operate a modern spaceship. if your opponent is susceptible to unsophisticated attacks, you have already won

How does inversion over CM1 work with Triangular? With Hexagonal? No clue.
That was all I could manage. It’s 7 Jan 2024. Having a nausea morning so there’s a chance I’m actually ill. Putting that aside, a sense of unease permeates like each word carries all the negative and positive potential at once. My instincts are to give in, curl up and lie there versus work until I find out if I need to lie down or not. So work it is.
My dad said most of the world’s work is done by people who aren’t feeling well. That’s the idea of work which seems to elude both individuals and this society, that work is meant to involve you. That explains a lot to me. I remember when no factory or warehouse was air conditioned. Many weren’t heated beyond the need to keep the water flowing. This is what bothers me: I can’t find a flow. The ideas arrive in chunks and it takes a lot of mental space to rearrange them as objects, and I think my brain is a bit tired from being stretched so much.
Anyway, what bothers me about ‘this’ is that for years I’ve read about inhumane working conditions which don’t strike me as particularly inhumane except that the workforce has change and their expectations have changed, and the interface between how Things have been run and how they can be run now and what that means for expectations is going to have friction, meaning the heat of conflict. That this becomes demonization is what bothers me: the poles don’t need to be drawn so far apart to address the issues. Except, and here’s that chunk rearranging again, the structures are so large they have limited ability to address these issues while they are addressing so many others, including running a business and running lives. That’s why Archimedes’ lever principle is so appealing, isn’t it? You imagine a lever which moves the world, which says you need to go here.
Then again, I took yesterday off from the gym - spent an hour and half moving stuff in and out of the storage unit instead - so I know some of this may be not just delayed onset muscle soreness across my overworked core but I also have been challenging my vestibular system with backward pulls using a cable cross, and there is definitely some motion in my field of vision. It’s to the right, where I noticed a hesitance or even resistance last session. Twisting into that space right up and back may have sparked this. So try the complementary movements on the other side. Remember: it’s like not expecting 0Space perfection in you (or me), so don’t think of this as mirroring the exact same movement but as finding the gsPairing which relates to that resistance and thus to the wobble effect now going on. As he splats face first into the screen, turning into characters and then pixels and then photons.
I love that the IL is about 3*10^8 m/s. That counts 0-8, meaning SBE3 from where ^0 = 1, which is a Minimal Context statement, I think. Don’t trust anything while my stomach is flipping. Think for second, then put some food in your mouth and see what happens. Okay. You know what that means: you take whatever it is that’s your base, that’s your Thingy, and you keep it around but reduce it to the abstraction of itself as 1. That wasn’t so bad, was it? My stomach disagrees.
So the IL is f&b from that abstraction to 1 up through what? It’s 10^0, so the reduction to abstraction is more obvious: that value of 3 at abstracted 1, then up through to 8 because that’s the count of 9, which is the 89. And the 19 reads as L19, which is CM100. So many signs.
The 10 is SBE3+1, so the count 0-8 is SBE3 of SB3+1. This is work we did years ago. Does it make more sense now? 8-9-10. Each 10 means more associative potential, meaning associative in szK terms so there’s orthogonal association in which fit determines. See quantum geometry, as an example of CR. See the idea of ‘solutions’ and ‘solution space’ for a higher level example.
What about the joke? Because 7 ate 9. The link is that 7 is complete Hexagonal, which means in dimensional non-rigorous terms that whatever is within that 7 is that 6, which relates the 12 13 14. So 8 is where we get multiple complete Hexes, same as within 7 we get multiple SBE2’s, meaning the potential is within that Boundary and is read on either side of that Boundary, internal and external.
Funny how my stomach bothers me less as I work more. The cat much prefers smoked to regular turkey. I tested him today by taking my time, and he started trying to climb the cabinet. That’s the desire I’m looking for. I love seeing him have the spark of life. I do miss having affection. He only receives and then on specific terms. He now accepts that I rub his belly deeply; it helps him poop.
Why would there by any meaning to the word ate and 8? I like the humor because it sparks these ideas. What is 9 in those terms? We did this many years ago. As I recall, the next level of abstraction is that which includes that which includes that which includes. This is where this connects to the Goldbach conjecture proof: must identify each inclusive completeness for the gsProcesses to occur. Counting isn’t just counting labels but counting structures along Extents.
I did not see that connection coming. Thanks. Oh, the cat did in fact poop so I will not be hearing from him for some hours. Selfish little bleep. He has his blanket on his table in front of the window on a frigid day with a howling wind and he pooped so all is contentment. If he could purr, he would. Maybe.
That truly bangs home the identification proof method. Go over it again. We have inclusion each Brick count, so a-one anna two, to quote my grandmothers’ favorite show, meaning completeness at the gs which maps to that szK count. I’m seeing this on a gs sheet, with the imputed szK lines over in 1Space and each of the szK gs are overlapping potential Bricks, vertical or horizontal. This means the CR process can be seen as eddies of these, and thus as holes because the Boundary of each CR is in the layers of gs sheets. Odd how that has resisted notation. I never even think of saying gsSheets, though that’s obvious because from Sheets we get regular squares of 0Spoce and grid squares of 1Space. The notation then allows the smoothing necessary at the scale at which the gap normalizes, meaning to where there is acceptable seamlessness. The notion of acceptability is contextual and points to and from the Observer level at which the scale operates. That last is very helpful and, again, did not see it coming until it did.
Posted this on Reddit whilst I let this marinate:
“I’m glad you posted this article because I have spent many years working on neuropathy problems from the perspective of one whose family has this as a degenerative condition. I can’t distill decades of thought and research into a comment, but the basic idea is that flexibility through the spinal column, particularly the upper back better enables communication between the brain through the limbic system to each part of the body. And back. This IMO is why so many older people appear to benefit from pot or CBD, the CBD activates local receptors which map to the brain. Think of a snake as the opposite of people: the entire body is limbic, sensitive to touch everywhere with every bit mapping to the brain so it processes all that on and around itself. People who love snakes know how they relax around them as only a snake can, but this isn’t about pets. If you then workout, you map more and more areas of your body to the brain, and that makes maps of you in motion. You can then accomplish those maps of you in motion. But to do that, you need to have the connections, and those reduce as you stiffen and lose your range of motion.
I say spine like all you need to do is a back bend. Uh no. It is extremely difficult to unlock the range of motion in your spine. I spend a significant portion of my near daily workout doing tensioned twists with cables not bands because bands provide one way resistance and operate differently with each thickness, which makes them inherently less efficient than cables. Twists and reaches and pretty much any other creative way to get my midsection turned with power and ease.
I also have vestibular problems, meaning vertigo. Treatment for this indicates a neurological inability to decide which version you are perceiving is correct. It’s like a stutter in which the body can’t align, can’t select which state to be in. This can become extreme, like when I was on a treadmill and all I could see were 3 dots and I went down like my legs had been grabbed. The treatment is to challenge your ability to follow objects with your eyes. I realized that tensioned back bends pushed my spine into a bend, so I was looking up at the ceiling and behind me, and that as I relaxed the vestibular stuttering went away. In other words, there’s a perceptive frame in front of me and I try to reset it by stretching it to the sides, to the top and bottom, and by moving my eyes over it slowly and by throwing my vision from spot to spot, until those actions smooth. I practice versions of this every day, so I know I can handle the dizzy.
My maternal line carries a disorder which stiffens the body and reduces contact with the peripheral nerves. This manifests as diminished mobility and weakness. It doesn’t show on an MRI. It only responds very short term to treatments for known conditions like Parkinson’s. Slowing gate, immobility, etc. lead to dementia. Really bad at my mom’s generation, but that may be because people now live long enough for the cost of these conditions to become more visible. I believe that treatment is to increase energy levels by establishing the opposite cycle, that instead of locking up through the fascia, which is how this spreads and why it is so hard to isolate for diagnosis, take that impulse and send it the other way. That is, the impulse now says lock up, okay reached this point, lock up some more, okay reached this, meaning it’s progressive and it covers your body like any other process with wavelike character. I assume that impulse is there, that I can’t address whatever it is without altering my genes, which seems unlikely, so I direct it to create a stiff structure and then build that, meaning get stronger and get more flexible through the range of motion, then repeat, letting that move around the body in the same progressive fashion as the debilitating cycle.
I don’t know what tomorrow holds, other than that it’s tomorrow, but this is why I at age nearly 68 am more fit than I ever have been, outside of those few stretches in youth where we really worked at being physical, like riding a bike as hard as you could just to see how hard you could but over weeks not for an afternoon of fun. I’m more flexibly strong. I can lift the same or more than I ever could. I can move my body, my shoulders, my hips through full ranges of motion under weighted tension. And I had a nearly completely frozen shoulder.
Thanks for the space to comment! I hope this helps someone realize that being and remaining physically competent truly makes your life better. “
The idea that I’m stretching the vestibular system is an example. How many structures are operating then? The Composition stutters. So learn how to press the reset button. That’s a glib remark. The process 1-0Segments because it rather obviously gsPairs. I don’t mean it’s easy to do this, just that there should be a Pathway you can go down or up, if you prefer your stairmaster.
We need a descending stairmaster because that’s when people fall. Train people on those and see if there’s fewer falls, and thus better outcomes at lower cost by reducing incidence.
Did I get at what happens when we invert over CM1? I don’t think I touched it. The problem is in Storyline I have them together talking but I can’t see how G would invert identity to a complete flip. Oh, I get it. She writes it out as math and he applies that to himself, with the math being abstracted so that it acts as a gateway or door, meaning a 1-0Segment flipping open over the half-plane, which if seen say left to right is Boundary forward, meeting all the other Boundary formation movements like the other way, colliding at each point along the way, and so on.
I am going to try to workout because movement makes me feel better.

3D AND 1-Time
When mathematicians talk about higher dimensional math, they usually mean like... more space dimensions. Even though, in this world, we also understand Time to be its own dimension.
If we were to look at animation, and pause time: we can see that nothing moves. We need *our* 4th dimension (time) in order to move, to grow , etc...
Most of our mathematics after geometry are fairly focused on interpreting things move.
And we're good at those calculations.
But for some reason, we can do up to 15? Dimensions of math and assume that all of them are just space dimensions?
I don' geddit.

Either you're funking with us (which would be hilarious), or your brain actually works this way (which would be awesome), but I can't quite tell the difference, and it's driving me nuts.
Unfortunately Real
Started from a sort of memetic algorithm in 2016 which was a simple as JMC. Journal, Mindmap (as I posted earlier), and calendar which was just a basic scheduling system. The basic gist was that I would plan the thing for a day, do the thing for a day via the MM, and then review the thing in the journal to test variations of said cognitive or behavioral ethology to then plan the altered version of said thing and repeat the cycle until the ungodly memeplex of US was born.
I am reasonably sure that the MM is completely learnable by anyone given the fact that I have had around six years practice and I am working on to make it accessible via VR app so people don't have to bother to learn how to exploit it in vivo.
What is bullshit though is that I sometimes play around with fractal 2.5 dimensional inputs, scaleless geometry, I even learned morse code and use it to encode even more possible sub branches. I also use the concept of sinstral and dextral via chirality in biochem to increase potential complexity and functionality.
I utilize the somewhat standardized mental and cognitive units of subjective phenomena in this post https://at.tumblr.com/paromle/heuristic-for-transforming-mental-events-into-an/bsmh65u2nzvi
to generally gauge what my physical, mental, and cognitive health is like at a given time.
To actually answer your question, I actually do think like this but its not all the time. It may be a bit disappointing but here is some crude biometrics of my adherence and engagement
Obviously thinking like this takes a certain degree of active concentration but I have noticed that I do dream in the framework of the MM quite often and that my acquisition of new information is semi automatically sorted into +y aka, the knowledge grid cube.
These metrics are a bit off though as I recently redefined my model of my own working memory and attention.
AAMP – Attentional Awareness Model Perception
Awareness of focus subjective substrate
Awareness of foci of focus
Awareness of circumstantial NWF correlates emergent in conscious awareness
I now consider 1. and 2. parts of the AAMP as counting as MM adherence so retrospectively my net adherence shown in that graph would be a bit higher on average

No, this is not non-Euclidean geometry. Euclid was perfectly au fait with curved lines, the Greeks used them all the fucking time (think of all those ruler-and-compass constructions), and more to the point, constructing a circle is literally the third Euclidean postulate. You can construct this shape perfectly well within a Euclidean plane, such as your computer screen. Non-Euclidean geometry is generally speaking something subtler: a space where parallel lines can meet or diverge.
For a super basic example, here's a triangle with three right angles constructed on the surface of a sphere:
You cannot construct a triangle with three right angles in a flat plane, so this is non-Euclidean geometry (to be specific, the surface of a sphere does not obey Euclid's parallel postulate). On a sphere, the 'straight line' (which we generalise with the notion of the geodesic) is a great circle, so you can construct 'polygons' using great circles. The interior angles of a triangle constructed on the surface of a sphere will in general add up to more than 180 degrees.
The 2D surface of a sphere is not all that weird to us 3D creatures, since it can be easily embedded in a 3D Euclidean space... but there are many more, much stranger curved spaces in mathematics than this, particularly when you start considering higher-dimensional curved spaces. There are a few games out there which are all about playing with non-Euclidean spaces, such as Antichamber or HyperRogue. There are also some great visualisations of curved space on ZenoRogue's channel, such as this one:
youtube
As much as Lovecraft could get freaked out by some pretty innocuous shit (e.g. penguins), there are some pretty damn weird spaces in mathematics, and I think if you found yourself in one you'd be less than chill about it. (I mean, if physics even worked there.)
That said, our universe is actually a 4D curved spacetime, so you are in a non-Euclidean space right now. That's what gives us gravity! The geometry on the universe is on very large scales, and in deep space, approximately Minkowski space, which is sort of like Euclidean space but the time dimension works a bit differently. Close to a massive object, it gets more complicated - some structures like a spinning black hole (Kerr metric) even permit you to go in a time loop if you're on the right trajectory.
I love seeing a meme and being like oh, tumblrs going to love this one

Mer-Ka-Ba
History has talked about the Mer-Ka-Ba mostly as the vehicle that allows a person to ascend or descend into the higher or lower worlds. But actually the Mer-Ka-Ba is much more than just a vehicle of ascension. It can be, really, anything — since it is the primal pattern that created all things and all universes, both visible and invisible (see The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life, volumes I & II). In the Bible there is reference to Ezekiel and the wheels by which Ezekiel ascended into heaven.[3] This was the Mer-ka-Ba. In the Torah, there is reference to the Merkavah (as it is spelled in Hebrew) which has two different meanings: One meaning is “chariot,” which is a vehicle; the other is the “Throne of God.” When the two definitions are combined, the true meaning comes to life. In Ancient Egypt, this primal pattern was called the Mer-Ka-Ba. It was actually three words, not one. Mer meant a kind of light that rotated within itself. Ka meant spirit, in this case referring to the human spirit. And Ba meant the human body — though it also could mean the concept of Reality that spirit holds. And so the entire word in ancient Egypt referred to a rotating light that would take the spirit and the body from one world into another. I once spent a couple of hours with Credo Mutwa, the spiritual leader of the Zulu tribe in Africa. He explained to me that Merkaba (one word) was a Zulu word meaning a space/time/dimension vehicle. He told me that according to Zulu legend his entire tribe had come from another dimension here to Earth using the Merkaba. In the modern world there are teachers worldwide — and I am one of them — who are helping people remember the Mer-Ka-Ba. Thus begin a process in consciousness that will eventually translate us from the third-dimensional world into the next higher one through what is being called “ascension.” Ascension involves a process where the human body is transformed into light and translated by an incredible birth into a new world. It is achieved through a meditation that requires the mind, heart, body, and spirit to completely integrate in one pattern of light and transcend the human limitations of this reality. This concept of the Mer-Ka-Ba as an ascension vehicle is not new. It is very, very old. mer-ka-ba. What actually is the Mer-Ka-Ba? Technically, it is an electro-magnetic field sitting at about four degrees Kelvin, found primarily within the microwave range — at least in the third dimension — that is entirely geometric in nature. Specifically, the geometry used is called “Sacred Geometry,” as this particular geometry is found in the creation patterns of all things in Creation. merkaba geometry The Mer-Ka-Ba field is extremely complex, involving the five Platonic solids and other sacred polyhedrons. It is believed to extend through all possible dimensional and parallel universes, and can possibly change its nature from electro-magnetic to whatever is appropriate. The blueprint of the Mer-Ka-Ba is found throughout nature, such as in this photo of a galaxy. One of the functions of the Mer-Ka-Ba, as we said, is to act as the vehicle to take the spirit and the body into the next world. However, this function — and most of the other possibilities — is impossible to obtain until something changes within the person. Sombrero galaxyThe Mer-Ka-Ba is situated around the human body like a three-dimensional geometric web that is dormant and nonfunctional, waiting for the right moment. When the spirit that inhabits the body remembers that it is there and begins to change certain aspects of itself, an incredible transformation begins to grow. It was believed in ancient times, and even written about by the Hebrews,[2], that the Merkavah could be turned on by certain principles in meditation. This involves breathing changes, and mind, heart, and body changes that alter the way a person perceives the Reality. From my perspective, it is the beginning of “Enlightenment.” And yet it is clear that the Mer-Ka-Ba can also be “activated,” as the New Agers say, by other methods beside the male-style instructions u

Namaste 🙏. Shifting visually while meditating, becoming similar to the grids flowing in the atmosphere. Have been succinctly privileged for this invitation as it seems to only be visible with this signature vibration. Over the years of ascension grades and being quite adept at gracefully accepting the forms at which these gifts and often times, headaches since these gifts are as of late, physical. Cranial / hemispheric “ merger “ {? }... Times, it feels like my skull is bursting: vault craniosynostosis is the medical term to explain the light body ascending stages. Excerpt from the book "In Resonance"
https://www.ashtarcommandcrew.net/profiles/blogs/12-stages-of-light-body-ascension
1. First level -
when the body drops density it commonly displays mutational symptoms of flu, headaches, diarrhea, rashes, muscle and joint aches
Most flu epidemics are actually Light epidemics!
Brain chemistry changes, right and left brain functions blend and the pituitary and pineal glands begin to change in size.
The DNA structure and chemical components begin to change and pick up extra hydrogen atoms and chemicals that the cells need to take undifferentiated higher Light and break it down into useable Light encodements for the DNA.
2. Second level -
the etheric blueprint floods with light and releases karmic experiences, individuals may feel disoriented as well as experience of 'bouts of flu'. Many begin to question "why am I here".
Light in the etheric blueprint releases 4th dimensional structure and causes spins in the geometries of the emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. Change is rapid and many feel tired.
3. Third level -
physical senses become much stronger. Your bodies not only absorb Light for its own change but also acts as a transducer - decoder of higher light energies to the planet as a whole.
The process of the in-breath is now irreversible, like an elastic band that has been stretched to maximum capacity, been let go of and will return to its natural state.
4. Fourth level -
major changes are in the brain and its chemistry and electromagnetic energies - symptoms are often headaches, blurry vision, loss of hearing and sometimes chest pains.
Crystal regulators in the etheric body keep lines of light within the 5th dimensional blueprint from connecting again until you are ready.
Chest pains are due to the expanding energies of the heart as it opens to deeper levels.
Vision and hearing are being realigned to function differently. The mental body begins to wonder if it really is in charge and individuals get strong unexplainable and undeniable urges to follow spirit without hesitation.
Individuals may get lashes of telepathy, clairvoyance and nearly all begin to experience empathy. This is a time of feeling, of honoring and accepting and validating the emotional body and learning to control it.
5. Fifth level -
the mental body decides to tune to spirit, dreams change and may become more 'lucid', you get feelings of de ja vu. Thought processes become non linear. Being's oscillate between knowing and doubt.
We realize the habitual nature of thinking and behavior and look at de-programming and re-programming to create the "I" we wish to be, not the "I" we thought we were from our interaction with parents, peers and society etc.
Change seems to be constant and we consciously begin to discern from our heart rather than judge from 'conditioned responses'.
6. Sixth level -
we draw to us others for mutual support and stimulation of growth. We question what is real, our mental process and how we identify with others and ourselves changes rapidly.
Re-evaluation may be uncomfortable but we feel it must be done - we look at our relationships, jobs, home environment, living styles, it is a time of letting go, of moving on.
We change our friends, everything feels to be in a state of flux but we feel lighter, vaster, freer somehow. By this stage the Light quotient in our being is 33% - we feel as though we are opening up our inner senses and clairvoyance, clairaudience etc. seem normal and natural to us.
7. Seventh level -
the heart chakra opens more, we become more 'real' with other emotions, we just have to be ourselves! We release blocks and old patterns - it is a time of great emotional clearing and great intensity as we seek to rid ourselves of emotional baggage.
We feel more in tune with each moment, feeling very present and flowing with life. Often old relationships end or change rapidly as Being's dig deep and honour their feelings - there is simply no room for denial on any level. We begin to lose emotional attachment to others.
Chest pains (angina) are more common as the heart continues to open its energy fields.
(Doing the Unified chakra meditation will assist in the heart opening).
Fear at this time is released as the energy fields of all the bodies are realigned through the heart and when aligned, fear drops away.
Pressure at the forehead or back or the head is due to the opening of the pituitary and pineal glands as they absorb more light, when these glands are fully open, activated and functioning at the highest level, aging and death cease.
When the pineal gland is fully open we experience multi-dimensionality yet duality seems to increase as we leave it behind.
Some days we feel connected and joyous, others we are in fear and caught up in survival issues.
Many wish to 'ascend' and leave the planet as we sense the very real possibility of ascension through our deepening connection with spirit.
As we learn to follow our joy, we may then want to 'save the planet' and have everyone follow their joy.
ALL are stages of progression and reflect our changing perception. Dietary wise, you feel to eat less, more light, live food -
many at this stage have ceased to eat meat, sugar and drink alcohol as they 'feel' the effects of these substances on the vibrational fields of the body.
8. Eighth level -
we see the Master in all and purely wish to be of service - we leave the 'saving and rescuing' mode behind in favour of the desire to serve Divine Will.
The pineal and pituitary glands change shape, if headaches persist ask the Being's who are working with you to simply 'tone it down' for they don't feel pain, or ask them to release endorphin's - the brains natural opiate.
The brain is being activated - particularly the cerebrum, the 'sleeping giant'. Cranial expansion is common; triangular 'seed crystals' in the brow and recorder crystals in the right side of the brain are activated along with the 8th, 9th and 10th chakras.
We begin to be hooked into the languages of Light.
The pituitary and pineal glands are opened fully and work together to create the 'Arc of the Covenant', a rainbow light that arcs over the top of the head to the third eye that is a decoding mechanism for higher dimensional language.
You may find it hard to find words to express yourself as you may think in geometries and tones.
If confused do the unified chakra meditation and ask for messages to be decoded and translated.
Again you become much more aware of the vastness and multi-dimensionality of your nature, that you can be anything that you want to be, you cease to operate from obligation and relationships become transpersonal. You share words from your heart and soul and others may feel disorientated when dealing with you as they no longer have 'hooks' into you to link with.
You operate from a deep level of serenity with heightened sensitivity and awareness yet feel grounded and transformed. By this stage, it is possible to be sustained purely by Light and prana, to take no nourishment from the atmospheric realms and to be healthily sustained by the etheric.
9. Ninth level -
decoding geometries and toning is easier, spirit is using the languages of light which shift the 6th dimensional blueprint into a new template for your 5th dimensional Lightbody.
Your body may change shape as the energy fields shift. You feel interconnected to all Being's everywhere and less connected to the opinions of others.
You release the desire for and the energy to sustain the 'game of separation and limitation' and feel truly free.
The 9th level sees a mass descension of the Lightbody into physical form.
As with the 3rd and 6th, this level sees a strong re-evaluation as we begin the final surrender to Spirit and we truly become the Divine instrument.
Here Spirit determines our income, our work, other being's in our lives, everything. This is the dissolution of the ego-self and while ecstatic, it can be most painful. Â Making the leap can be fearful even though we have evolved through eons of time to reach this point.
We may go back and forth, clinging to old comfort zones before completely letting go - there is no turning back and all must be released.
9th level is surrender and then ecstasy; the letting go of the "I" - we realize that while free will is real it is also an illusion as it only there to guide us and to empower us to be One with Spirit.
Survival fears leave - focus in on the Now at one-at-ment. Though fears may surface, they seem unreal and are easily put aside.
We tend to disconnect from consensus reality and our choices and reality seem unreal to others. From the 7th, 8th and 9th the inner light noticeably radiates out and by now you feel unbelievably grounded, connected, centered, filled with purpose and desiring only to serve.
For awhile you may slip between the 8th & 9th, from feeling complete at-one-ment to being ' a limited human being' again, this settles down by the end of the 9th level.
You then continually feel connected and operate from your Christ level and your intention and motivation is always for the highest, although others, due to their own inner triggers and issues, may not always choose to see that.
The 9th is where we begin to hook up to our I AM.
The last three levels unify all energy fields, all chakras are unified and you become totally connected to your I AM.
10. Tenth level -
you are one with Source consciousness and know all is possible. DNA is no longer 2 strand but 12 strand; teleportation, manifestation etc. are instantaneous.
The Merkabah (another name for our Lightbody) has been built and allows you to pass through space, time and dimensions complete in your totality.
It has its own consciousness to be directed by you.
11. Eleventh level -
all levels of the lightbody have been constructed and activated and are connected to your physical body via 'spin points'.
These light matrix's lie along the physical acupuncture meridians and are lines of light intersecting in beautiful geometries
- a new 5th dimensional circulatory system of Light.
Cellular regeneration has been accomplished.
Time is no longer linear but simultaneous - past, present and future co-exist - all exist in parallels.
There is no separation and you will fully manifest your vision of Heaven on Earth and express the ecstasy of Spirit.
In this 'frame' of conscious awareness many now access and create new types of Light based technologies, new community living, new systems of government and equitable food and resource distribution systems.
All have received specialist training and skills to help create and manifest the New World - the 'Golden Age'.
12. Twelfth level -
the continuation of the Creation and implementation of the New World systems - hook up with other 12th level initiates who bring into existence new governments, new financial and educational systems, better system of food and resource allocation etc. as all will be redefined in the final stages of Earth's ascension so that all may exist in joy, equality and harmony.
By this time the planet and her inhabitants will have been 'rewoven' into Light to shine in their full glory as the final stages of this Divine Plan unfolds.
The planet goes to Light, shifts out of this dimension and is brought into a multi-star system where everyone is a lightbody and follows Spirit in total Mastery.

The single factor most predictive of what a xenologer will encounter on first contact--barring, of course, those features of alien civilizations that are necessarily unique and by definition cannot be predicted--is the size of the planet's sentient population. The technological situation of civilizations is not, of course, a simple hierarchy, with "advanced" at the top and "primitive" at the bottom, but when it comes to those factors that do lend themselves to a simple numerical expression, there is a clear correlation between the size of population and the amount of energy generated by, or the maximum information processing capability available to, the civilization in question.
On that basis, we may reasonably expect every world of twelve billion inhabitants to have explored their local star system. We may reasonably expect every world of ten billion to have harnessed fusion power; every world of five billion, to have devised some form of computing technology; every world of three billion, to have harnessed fission. By the time a planet reaches a population of one billion, it will have writing, steam engines, and the rudiments of astronomy and physics well-covered. In Chapter Four, I discuss a range of important technological milestones, the size of civilizations that tend to attain them, and why I believe that milestone tends to be found in civilizations of that size, down to populations of about five hundred million. I believe the tightness of this correlation holds for smaller populations as well, including entirely preindustrial ones, but further investigation is warranted.
Now I shall reply to several usual objections in turn.
First, surely historical circumstance matters? Of course. The unique geometry of the Dimidians' home system hampered local spaceflight and space exploration considerably. Religious-philosophical considerations delayed the development of fusion power among the Samhese by centuries, while in the case of humans, internecine strife rather accelerated the harnessing of fusion by several decades, for use as a weapon of war. I believe population size is the largest contributing factor to technological development--the largest but, to be sure, not the only one. For a discussion of other important factors in detail, see Chapter Nine.
Second, how does one account for biology? To put it simply, I do not--I believe that Kerzoa's Law not only holds, but has repeatedly been successfully tested. In short, Kerzoa argued that, in the highly competitive arena of biological evolution, the intelligence threshold at which sophisticated cognition becomes a runaway evolutionary advantage is the same in all biospheres, and that upon reaching this threshold, short-term technological and social innovation will rapidly overtake long-term evolutionary innovation, drowning out its effects as an intelligent species masters its immediate environment and spreads. In short, all evolved sentients are roughly equally intelligent, insofar as this is a feature that can be approximately measured. That's not a trivial assumption! No one would look at Taphaon spatial reasoning ability, or Samhese abstract thinking capability, or the quirk of Dimidian physiology that makes higher-dimensional systems trivial for them to understand and think all evolved sentients are roughly the same. But strengths in one area generally are commensurate with weaknesses in others; that is to say, all sentients begin from a common baseline of intelligence[1]. Of course, this uniformity does not hold once genetic engineering and artificial intelligence are added to a civilization's technological arsenal (see Chapter Six), which should be a great relief to my human readers, whose only natural intellectual advantage, according to studies, is the ability to recognize different-colored fruits at a glance.
Thirdly: famous counterexamples. Each of these, I will argue, is not a true counterexample, since the correlation I argue for did in fact hold until another factor overtook population size in importance, usually only well after the civilization attained a population of at least two billion.
The Hazari population was small on contact, despite being technologically advanced *and* distributed throughout their local star system, due to a plague that had greatly diminished the population of the species, and reduced its long-term fertility. Notably, while their civilization did not collapse in the aftermath of this crisis, it also stagnated for a century and a half, until the Accord initiated a scientific exchange program.
The Kinu-Kmei are similarly famous for being unusually advanced given their population (historically found only on their homeworld). While not stagnant like the Hizari, their rate of innovation is slow; furthermore, as both Kerzoa and Williamson have convincingly argued, the Kinu-Kmei genome shows distinctive signs of uplift in their distant past, which means the Kinu-Kmei are not bound by the same constraints (positive or negative) implied by Kerzoa's Law. Uplift is rare (though cf. Terran examples; the human civilization has uplifted no fewer than six native and alien species to one extent or another, a truly unprecedented number), but in every other known case uplifted species were integrated seamlessly into the uplifting civilization. Whether the Kinu-Kmei were abandoned, their uplifters wiped out by some catastrophe, or are the remnant of a once more widely-distributed species, remains to be investigated by archeologists and xenologers.
The human civilization hews very closely to the population size/energy use correlation until about 900 years ago, when the two became suddenly decoupled; in this case, the cause was not civilizational catastrophe, but its opposite. Due to a quirk of human biology, human populations can grow extremely rapidly in preindustrial conditions, but upon transitioning to an industrialized condition, undergo a delayed reaction they refer to as the "demographic transition," and quickly stabilize, or even begin to shrink. This pattern repeats itself on colony worlds, too; and while there is some indication that, in the absence of the existing human technological base, this might result in stagnation similar to that experienced by the Hazari, the initial human demographic transition (and all subsequent examples) took place in the context of rapid innovations in artificial intelligence and genetic engineering, the latter of which the human genome is especially well-suited for. So even as the human population stagnated, its information-processing capacity did not, which is the real factor with which we are concerned. Population is only its proxy--but, as noted above, due to Kerzoa's Law, it is a very good proxy.
Then there is the example sometimes cited from my own homeworld, that of the Devouring-By-Night. Before being driven to the brink of extinction, the Devouring-By-Night were notable as the only natural predator of my species, the Osmians; they are of course extremely intelligent, but also extremely solitary. They have no technology to speak of; in their natural state, they do not even possess language. But this is not a counterexample at all! For due to their isolation, we cannot speak of the Devouring-By-Night as having any civilization at all; or at least, we must speak of them has having historically had only many civilizations, each with a population of exactly one. And each civilization having, at that, no history, no memory, no language, and no innovation save what its sole member might develop, informed only by instinct and experience, from the time it hatched to the time it spawned and died. Surviving members of that clade can be regarded as having experienced a kind of counter-uplift, and are not representative of the species as it historically existed.[2]
In Chapter Ten, I will discuss these counterexamples in more detail, as well as more subtle objections that have been raised against this theory.
Notes:
[1] Due to the fierceness with which intelligence is selected for--owing to the vast advantage over the environment which it confers--variation within clades is even smaller, or nonexistent. The three divisions of the Taphaon, despite being separated for almost one million years shortly after they achieved their modern form, differ considerably in size, coloration, shell pattern, visual acuity, and numerous other physiological aspects--but not noticeably in intelligence. Samhese evolution is considerably more complex, and the species we now know as the only surviving member of that clade only branched off from the others about fifty thousand years ago--but this branching occured after that subspecies reached the approximate cognitive threshold of Kerzoa’s Law, and variation in intelligence within that sub-clade has always been small. Similar developments hold for the evolution of Osmians, Dimidians, and humans, though in the lattermost case the difference between even the most outstanding members of the cognitively advanced sub-clade and its closest relatives is perhaps not so great as the sub-clade would like to believe.
[2] Critics of the counter-uplift program have held that it amounts to genocide of a sentient species with a moral right to exist; as a member of the species of which the Devouring-by-Night were an obligate predator, a species which still has an instinctual terror of the deepest parts of the sea where the Devouring-by-Night dwelt, one cannot help but wonder if these soft-headed moralists’ need to find an underdog to root for has overwhelmed every ounce of sense and moral reason in their bodies, or only most. Suffice it to say, the humans’ counter-uplift program was the only alternative to extinction (see articles by Kerzoa, Maugrim, Tersei, Golith, Thompson, and Bellows, cited below), and the law forbidding the surviving members of that clade from intruding on Osmia or the Osmian Antarctic Cession are necessary for both their own wellbeing and that of the Osmians.

OMG ive been summoned!!! okay okay lets see
first off. getting this one out of the way. i havent voted yet but i swear to god if calculus is winning right now im gonna be /pissed/ (not really lmao). not because its BAD or anything, i enjoyed learning about it, but its sooooo overhyped as The Hard One when conceptually its not even that interesting. wooaahhhhh find the area under a curve!! revolutionary!! like yeah the calculations are long and often difficult ESPECIALLY once you get into multivariable calculus but like. it gets way too much hype for what it is.
im tempted to vote algebra for how foundational it is but thats a boring answer. same with functions and relations. im also not voting for trig because i tutor high schoolers and im sick of it tbh. its basically just geometry a little to the left anyway.
ok at first i kinda skipped over geometry but you know what. thats a little unfair. euclidean geometry is generally very boring but higher dimensional geometry? hyperbolic or circular geometry???? where would we be as a society without klein bottles and mobius strips and hyper cubes and hyperbolic crochet. anyway if youre reading this you need to play hyperbolica its a simple puzzle game a la portal but instead of thinking with portals you have to think in hyperbolic space. where space has more. space. everything looks a little distorted and it totally fucks your spatial awareness its so fun. even something as simple as a maze becomes difficult because when you turn left 4 times you DONT end up where you started and it just doesnt compute in your brain. also the npcs are little robot guys and its so cute and charming. 10/10 excellent game. anyway yeah im not voting for geometry because a lot of it is boring but it does have its moments!
i went to university for statistics (well. technically actuarial science but its pretty much the same thing) so im a bit biased towards it. but its definitely the most useful kind of math for the average person to understand (aside from basic algebra) but its also like. really wild that it works?? that you can collect a big chunk of data and then determine correlations between variables with a high degree of accuracy. its basically the antithesis of what people think of math (rules and hard logic and one correct answer) but its still so rigorous and useful and so so important to understand
but more than statistics i am a huge fan of matrix theory. i really love matrix operations theyre SO SATISFYING and just really fun to do. especially when you apply them to linear algebra and solve a really messy system of equations that cant even be conceptualized on a graph.... augh its great. and its also one of the few kinds of math that i learned with a bunch of different number systems pretty much right away (bc its related to cryptography so using binary or mod 5 or whatever is actually useful) and that was really refreshing!! i love using different number systems. im not sure why its grouped together with set theory but i do also like set theory, its really fundamental like algebra (although its not nearly as well taught as algebra) and a lot of the operations are really unique so it kinda opens up what math is when you start learning about it. and of course there are a lot of number sets that i really like but that doesnt really have to do with set theory itself lmao
ANYWAY i think im gonna vote matrix theory. theres a few really interesting ones that arent listed here like game theory (ever heard of the prisoners dilemma?), topology (did you know that a mug is the same as a donut? also a straw definitively has one hole), and graph theory (i dont know that much about graph theory tbh i just think it looks really cool), but i really love matrices. i mean come on like
that rules. objectively that rules
#anyway whether you vote matrix theory or not you can at least make an informed decision#based on my. extremely biased perspective lmao#thanks so much for the tag z!!! hope you enjoyed my rambles hehe#also play hyperbolica. its so cool and i promise you dont have to know anything about hyperbolic space to play it

Fractal Frenzy (wk. 9)
When I glanced at this week’s prompt, I felt a little pressure to be honest. You all want to know the most amazing thing I know about nature?! I didn’t know where to begin, and I wanted to provide something that would surely wow you all. The first thing that came to mind was how wondrous of a feeling nature can provide for you, it’s truly therapeutic and it goes unmatched. This is one of the most amazing things about nature in my opinion, but I can’t sum it up in a blog post for you – you must experience it for yourself. What I can do is provide you with some incredible science/math that will hopefully deepen your connection to nature and the universe around you. The science that I’m referring to is called fractals, and it’s also referenced as sacred geometry.

Have you ever heard of these terms? Fractals are self-similar patterns that repeat themselves at different levels of magnification – every small part resembles the whole.
A “simple” fractal (self-repeating pattern). Retrieved from Tumblr.
As you can see in this gif, the pattern appears to be on an infinite loop, demonstrating a pattern inside a pattern inside a pattern, so on and so forth.
I’m sure you’re wondering how fractals play into nature. In one of my courses this semester, we discussed how nature organizes itself into fractals to “problem solve” (McCann, 2021). Fractals are ultimately formed by nature to fill empty space, which in turn can effectively add a dimension (McCann, 2021). Yes, you heard that right, fractal filling can drive additional dimensions. I thought this fact was wild when I learned it! You’ve probably heard your local hippie say at one point or another that we’re “multidimensional beings”; that we have access to dimensions higher than that of 3D (including 4D, 5D, 6D, all the way to 12D+). In my opinion, this logic is supported to a degree because us humans have fractals all throughout our bodies that are ever repeating. A perfect demonstration of this is our circulatory system – we have 60,000 miles of branching blood vessels and capillaries inside each of us (Elsevier, 2019).
Artwork by Matthew James Taylor that represents a branching network of blood vessels. Retrieved from: https://matthewjamestaylor.com/fractal-art
This amazes me not only because of the dimensional aspect, but because these fractals are found throughout all of nature. This implies that both humans and nature have the ability to produce internal dimensions through fractals. To me, it is proof that we are not separate from nature, but simply a part of it. Our bodies carry some of the exact same patterns and mathematical ratios that nature does.
A very well-known pattern that is found across humans and nature is the Fibonacci sequence. This pattern exists at all levels of creation: human body proportions, plants, crystal structure, the orbit of the planets, etc. It’s so amazing to me because as previously mentioned, it demonstrates that we are not separate from nature. Our bodies form the same patterns that plants and animals do, down to a mathematical level. Some people believe this proves that humans along with nature are all derived from the same source.

This is a complex topic and I have merely touched the tip of the iceberg, so here are some additional sources if you’d like to dive deeper:

The next time you’re out in nature, look at all the beautiful fractals and patterns that surround you. Understand that you are a part of nature, and that nature is a part of you as well.
