We're happy to see Y/N looking so happy following the revelation that her ex-boyfriend, and Carlos' current F1 teammate, had cheated on her. The two were then joined by Y/N's current roommate and F1 driver, Lando Norris, who then whisked them off to a local nightclub. Although he doesn’t think of himself as the confrontational type, Remus has no qualms at all with letting his stare bore relentlessly into the man standing against the wall. It takes a minute for the bloke to feel it, but when he looks away from you and catches Remus’ eye, he decides to ogle his drink instead.

“Fuck,” Sirius sighs, longing woven into the threads of his voice, “that skirt is right dangerous.”

James hums emphatically, both of their eyes glued to where you’re off dancing with your friends.

When you’d pulled it on earlier and your boyfriends’ tongues had just about fallen out of their mouths, you’d described it as a “low rise miniskirt.” Remus thought it might more accurately be called a “strip of fabric.” He’s fairly sure you own headbands that are thicker than what you’re wearing now. Pairing it with one of your little tops had all but ensured James wouldn’t be getting a full, intelligent sentence out all night, and you’d covertly asked Remus to take your boyfriends to the bar for a drink when Sirius wouldn’t unstick his hands from you long enough to let you actually dance.

“She’s alright,” Remus says, turning his stare on another man eye-fucking you from near them at the bar. “She knows how to take care of herself.”

(And you do, though he doubts you’d mind him offering you a bit of help.)

“I meant for me.” Sirius’ expression is theatrically pained. He looks like he couldn’t rip his eyes away from you if he tried. “Look, you both know I don’t like to get too steamy in public—” James snorts, and Remus coughs into his drink “—but if one of you doesn’t kiss me passionately within the next few minutes, I don’t think I’ll be able to stop myself from dragging all three of you straight home.”

“I thought Moony was supposed to be the one with the irresistible urges,” James jokes. Sirius doesn’t seem to hear the joke, but Remus accepts the quick cheek peck James offers him in recompense. “Hang on, I’ll snog you in a bit. Angel!”

He waves his hand until you look over, gesturing for you to come to the bar. If you’re disappointed to be taken away from your girlfriends you don’t show it, though Remus thinks you might be the sort of tipsy where you’re happy with just about everything regardless. You’re beaming as you make your way over to them.

“Hey, lovie,” James says. He kisses your cheek while his fingers find the hem of your skirt, giving it a firm tug so it covers more of your ass. Sirius watches its descent with torment in his eyes. “Do you want another drink?”

Your smile goes crooked. Remus thinks you’re trying to be sly, which is just fucking adorable. “You’re gonna get one for me?” you ask, batting your eyelashes at James.

James grins back at you just as contentedly. “If you want,” he agrees, grasping the fabric of your top to shimmy it up an inch. “Another dirty shirley?”

“Please.” You peck him on the lips.

While James turns to speak to the bartender, Sirius steals you away. He takes your hips in both hands, manhandling you closer until he can wrap his arms around your waist and drop his chin on your shoulder. You look happy to be manhandled.

“You don’t know what you’re doing to me,” Sirius laments, putting his lips to your skin so his voice is a mournful mumble. You bring up a hand to pet his hair, and the look you give Remus says that you do know, actually. “I think we ought to go home.”

You appear unsurprised at this request. You turn your head to reply, “I’m having fun, though. Aren’t you?”

“I was,” Sirius groans. “Let me come back out there with you, please? I promise to behave this time.”

You hum thoughtfully, sending Remus a playful look. “I don’t know. Do you think he can manage it?”

Remus suppresses a smile. Sirius does love to dance, but Remus knows he sees dancing with you as an opportunity to prove to onlookers that you’re taken as much as it is a chance to grope you himself. And with the mood his last few cocktails have put him in, Remus wouldn’t be surprised if “dancing” turned into a very public makeout session in record time.

“Doubtful,” Remus says, impervious to Sirius’ pout, “but why rob us all of the show.”

Sirius’ grin spreads like a sunrise.

“Alright,” you say as James hands you your drink. “Ready?”

Sirius agrees enthusiastically, and you start back towards the dance floor, shouting a quick “Thanks, Jamie!” over your shoulder as you lift your drink above the crowd.

“Think we ought to worry about her taking that out there?” James cranes his neck to keep track of you. “You know, uncovered and all?”

“No,” Remus says placidly as Sirius snaps at a bloke who happens to glance at your drink as it goes by. “He’s got her just fine.”

those three words kept echoing all throughout the compound this morning. most of the team were up and awake to welcome bucky, steve, and sam who just arrived home from their week long mission.

but his baby was missing.

“oh, god. here he goes again.” sam shook his head, fatigue written all over his face, but a bit of amusement from bucky's behaviour still shining through. he couldn't deny how admirable bucky's adoration for you was.

“calm down, punk." steve pat his shoulder reassuringly. “i'm sure she's here somewhere.”

“yeah, but where?” bucky asks again. “i haven't seen her for a week. i miss her.”

“you think he remembers her name?" clint jokingly asked.

“she has multiple names, remember?” tony answered. “baby, sweetheart, love, sweets, and.. what's the other one? i swear, there's another, or maybe two?”

before one of them could find the answer, bucky popped right in front of them to ask another question.

“is my baby okay?” his brows were all scrunched up, genuinely worried about you. “did you tell her i was coming home? i told her before we took off. why isn't she here? she's always—”

“okay, lover boy. your baby is alright, she's still sleeping in your room, i think.” tony answered him, finally calming him down. “and can you call her by her name when it's just us around? we're starting to think that you forgot what her actual name is."

“what? she's my only baby, it's not that hard to figure it out." bucky shrugged, causing at least three of the avengers to run their hands through their face at his answer. “and why is she still asleep? is she sick?"

natasha raised her hand, a guilty smile on her face. “i'm the reason for that. i made her stay up late with me last night to watch five seasons of a show we discovered accidentally,” she explained, a proud smile now replacing her guilty one. “she might be a little cranky from the lack of sleep, so you better have something for her when she wakes up.”

“oh, i do.” bucky grinned like he already knew what to give her and was prepared for it. “all of you might want to leave the tower for the entire day if you don't want to hear me giving it to her.”

what used to be the shouts of bucky looking for you were now replaced with the grunts and complaints of the team because of bucky's answer.

🗣️: Honestly, his reaction depends on his mood or when you decide to randomly smother him in kisses. If he was sleeping and you suddenly grabbed him to place kisses across his cheeks, he might get a bit pouty and scold you for scaring him out of a dead sleep. Don’t you know that’s rude?? However, if he’s fully conscious, he’ll take your kisses with either a bright smile or quietly sulk while he allows you to shower him in affection. Something else in him stirs—not amusement, not even his pride. Something foreign and strange that he doesn't have the word for. It's pleasant, the way it makes his stomach swirl.

He thinks about pushing you further, just to explore this new feeling in his chest. But you're already putty in his hands, and he'd rather not have to explain this to his nosy "friends" later.

Alastor tips your chin up to look at him, and in the light he can see your adoration in its fullest. He chuckles.

DATE shoots MINGYU a look. He heaves out a longsuffering sigh.

MINGYU Okay, I'll get us some.

MINGYU makes his way to the snack bar. YOU look up. His eyebrows furrow, because he can't read the look on your face as well as he used to.

MINGYU Hey, look—

YOU (interrupting) Welcome to Cinema '76. What can I get you?

MINGYU feels his heart drop in his stomach. He wants to explain, but then DATE comes up to him.

DATE Can you get us some soda, too?

MINGYU lets DATE drag him off. He casts one glance over his shoulder at YOU, except YOU'RE not even looking at him. Somehow, that's even worse.

INT. CINEMA '76, CINEMA 1 - DAY

The film is one of those cheesy romcoms. MINGYU thinks about how YOU had introduced him to his favorite romcom; how the two of you used to spend hours and hours debating over which was best.

His DATE leans over a lot to comment on things, he notices.

DATE (pressing close to MINGYU) I think Glen Powell is severely underrated...

MINGYU laughs, just a bit, because in his mind's eye, he can see how YOU would react to that opinion. He's also imagining the look on YOUR face if YOU saw somebody talking during a film.

YOU only allowed movie commentary if it was in the comfort of YOUR home. Otherwise, in public places like cinemas? YOU would glare daggers at anybody who dared.

DATE (CONT'D) ... And that's kind of like Sydney Sweeney, isn't it?

Crap. MINGYU has no idea what DATE had just said.

MINGYU (whispering) Yeah, I agree.

DATE seems placated. Close call, thinks MINGYU. But he's also thinking about how the two of you would argue about everything. How YOU would never back down on YOUR opinion, and how he adored YOU for all YOUR convictions.

DATE goes to hold MINGYU's hand. He almost flinches away. But that would be rude, so he awkwardly lets them hold on.

It's cruel, but throughout the movie, MINGYU bears it by imagining that it's YOUR hand instead.

INT. CINEMA '76, LOBBY - EARLY EVENING

MINGYU emerges from the movie with DATE. He immediately drops their hand.

MINGYU Hey, uh, I think I was short on change from the cashier. Mind if I go check on that real quick?

DATE Oh, sure. I'll wait for you by the entrance.

MINGYU Thanks.

MINGYU rushes back to the snack bar. YOU'RE nowhere to be found. He checks his watch; YOUR shift has probably ended.

MINGYU (underneath his breath) Damn it.

MINGYU had wanted to explain. He does the next best thing. He fishes out his phone from his pocket and pulls up your contact, which is still your name with a heart emoji. He hasn't changed it after all this time.

He types and retypes several texts. When did you start working at Cinema '76? and You looked good and Can we talk, please? and I wished it was you during the entire two-hour runtime of the film.

In the end, he only sends out an I'm sorry.

MINGYU puts his phone away. He wanders back to DATE, who greets him with a helluva good question; they're looking at the posters for upcoming shows.

DATE (absentmindedly) How do you feel about sequels?

And, again, MINGYU is thinking of YOU.

DogDay was always so sweet and caring and the very first of the smiling critters you met! He was always asking you how you were doing and was constantly by your side as soon as you checked onto work. DogDay was by far the most clingy to you, always asking your co workers when you were gonna come back and why don't you just stay here much to the annoyance to your co workers and always attached to your hip as soon as you checked in.

One day it was normal just like any other as you watched the smiling critters play and interact with the kids just making sure no accidents happened. You were watching DogDay play tag with his group of kids as you practiced bracelet making with your group. A kid in his group accidentally ran into your bowl of beads sending them scattering every whichway.

"Oh no, we're so sorry angel! I didn't realize how close our groups were,"

DogDay dropped down and fretted and his ears drooped as he began helping you pick up the scattered beads. You chuckled softly at him and began picking up the beads yourself.

You smiled at him as you both gathered the last of the beads beck into the bowl.

As DogDay looked back up from picking up the beads he realized how close you guys actually were. DogDay was about to get up and apologies again when you got up first and leaned over him. For the first time you were now standing over him and he was looking up at you. Suddenly he felt your hands on his cheeks as your thumbs circling his cheeks making him blush as his eyes widen.

"Whos a goodboy?"

You’re wearing your favorite pair of low rise jeans, they are a staple in most of your outfits and Matt is well aware of the love you have for these pants.

Those same pants had caused a series of breakdowns over the last few weeks. You had tried to wear them the week before your period but the denim felt too tight over your sore and bloated midsection. This had resulted in a panic to find something else to wear but nothing felt right without your favorite jeans - you ended up going out in Matt’s sweats and hoodie. And of course, this frustrating cycle had continued throughout the week of your period as well.

Currently, everything is feeling much brighter. The painful swelling in your organs has been gone for two days and your mind finally feels comfortable in your skin again.

The change in your confidence has been quite stark to Matt. He notices the renewed bounce in your step and the way your smiles spread wider across your face. He adores the way your mood remains light and positive throughout the day and the smallest things can trigger your laughter. He especially notices the way your body moves more confidently, your hips swaying with each step you take and emphasizing your curves. A sharp exhale leaves your mouth as you feel Matt brush his lips over the sweet spot on your neck and you raise your head again, your eyes landing on your reflections in the mirror in front of you. You can see Matt’s cheeks flushed a soft pink as he buries his face in your neck with more kisses. Your eyes are hazed over in a trance of desire as you watch Matt's hands continue to roam over the small patch of exposed skin above the waistband of your jeans. His fingers carefully begin to dip beneath the denim, lightly grazing over the skin hidden under.

The new contact causes a shaky breath to draw through your lips as yours eyes shift to his in the reflection of the mirror. His mouth curls into a small grin and he rests his chin on your shoulder once more as he whispers, “can i take these off?”.

A small nod of your head, followed by a breathy “...yes…” is the only response you can muster up as your mind glazes over with the same desire you can see in Matt’s eyes. Your own eyes are trained on his hands in the mirror as they move towards the button of your jeans, slowly and carefully pulling it undone before moving to the zipper. Your body itches with anticipation as he slowly shuffles the fabric down your hips, letting it fall to a pool of denim around your ankles.

“Hm… so perfect.” Matt breathes against your neck, letting his hands roam over the newly exposed skin of your thighs. His fingers dip between your legs, gently nudging them apart. Each touch of his soft fingers sends sparks through your body, you can feel the wetness beginning to pool in your panties.
