JUST GOT BACK FROM THE FNAF MOVIE

SPOILERS AND SCREAMING UNDER THE CUT

FIRST OF ALL i just wanna take a second to say the absolute JOY and UNFILTERED SEROTONIN i felt when the living tombstone's fnaf 1 song started playing during the credits is a high i will ride for the rest of my life. let ALONE the fact that almost everyone in the theater immediately started singing along. everyone in that theater i love you.

second of all i cannot fucking believe scott had the fucking AUDACITY to JUMPSCARE us with BALLOON BOY of ALL fucking wretched little bitches. not once, not twice, THREE FUCKING TIMES.

so angry. well played, scott.

i was so happy we got brief cameos from matpat AND coryxkenshin! i was so happy for cory especially. was really hoping for a dawko cameo too, but hopefully we'll get one next time!

i also wanna mention that i never would've guessed that we'd get a scene of the animatronics behaving like kids!!! it was SO cute to see them play with abby and be silly, i never knew i needed that so badly until now. i'm not joking, literally half of my theater went "awwwww..." when abby drew the heart and gave it to bonnie, and then bonnie turned to show it to the others 🥺 i wanna hug them all so badly now... they're so CUTE. they're my babies now if mike won't go back I WILL

i'm sure this makes me a terrible person, but one of the things i was hoping so desperately for was that we would get to WATCH WILLIAM DIE, and i am SO happy that they made it as brutal and painful as possible. the satisfaction i felt as the animatronics dragged a squirming, slowly dying william away to suffer and the kids getting their revenge was worth the 8 year wait. i also now understand why matthew lillard was like "can we even show this" LMAO that shit was brutal and i'm almost shocked they kept it in while keeping a pg-13 rating.

i love that they kept foxy singing to himself, and i KNEW the second that dude stepped into the closet bonnie would be there and i was ECSTATIC when he flipped on the light and i was right. predictable sure but who cares honestly, it was amazing!

i also can't believe sparky really WAS in parts and service. i'm so fucking done with you, scott. fucking sparky. at least i ASSUME that's who the dog character was, unless it was a reference to fetch, which would be way less cool.

will say i was fucking THROWN by vanessa being william's daughter. um scuse me? what about elizabeth? is she not canon to the movies? guess we'll find out lol. i was also really hoping we would've at least gotten a HINT of the puppet, but i guess the puppet being in the fnaf 1 location the whole time really wouldn't work in this scenario. seeing as she was supposed to be the only one truly aware, it definitely wouldn't have worked as well. hope we see her next time!

overall i give the movie a 9.5/10! my only complaint is i feel like there wasn't QUITE enough scary stuff. another ten or so minutes of horror would've done wonders, i think. this is a day one dvd buy for sure! can't wait to see what extra features the dvd will come with, and i hope it comes with commentary <3

Like. Ok. It's a big part of why I've separated myself from t.ristamp fandom more since finishing the manga. I just. The way a lot of the fans over there interact with the show is just so very different from what it means to me. And this is especially evident with how they treat Vash.

The "babygirl", the sweet sly sexy trans guy who is soooo innocent and small and meek and a total doormat, would never ever Ever say anything mean Ever, just total sunshine and daisies all the time (unless he's sad and then he's a pathetic wet meow meow who has to be bundled up and doted on until he's happy again, poor Baby)

I'm being dramatic here but like... also not? Some people really do characterize him like that, and it drives me up the wall.

I love Vash for his complexities. The way he contradicts himself. He's a staunch pacifist, but he gets angry enough a few times to be tempted to kill. He's goofy, yet haunted. Sweet, yet bitchy. And oh GOD he loves being an annoying little shit so much. He's jaded, yet hopeful. Resigned at the state of the world, yet still working to make it better. Plays the idiot, but is a total badass when push comes to shove. And for all his frequent childishness, he really is quite mature. That soul deep maturity that he achieved over a century and a half of struggle and strife, countered by his wish to just have Fun...

You see? These are two entirely different characters. After truly getting to know the 2nd (mainly manga vash, though 98 has some aspects of it too), the first just. Really falls flat.

And this. Is why. I need to stop reading t.ristamp fic. Bc more likely than not, I'm going to be disappointed.

i know this may have just been a matter of budget and not having all the voice actors and maybe getting overwhelmed with all the pokemon goh caught and whatnot but man. it’s sad how jn is seen as a last roundup for ash’s journey and it brought back most of his companions and all, and that’s cool, but it completely failed ash’s pokemon roster back at oak’s lab and kukui’s house by going out of its way to justify using only pikachu and mr mime i guess over them in these earlier episodes and refusing to touch on them throughout the series until near the end

#ok im sorry ill shut up soon fjfjfjjfjfjfjg its just. its SO glaring in this first batch of episodes #no ash why cant you use pokemon besides mimey and pikachu. why is that #we dont see any of those guys until over 60 episodes into the show and even then its a small cameo #and his infernape gets a cool moment but its immediately overshadowed by gary #and then yeah theres the episode where it shows all of them but it feels so rushed and clunky and weird in a lot of areas #like they had to cram all of em in there and didnt know what to do with them all #which wouldnt be so annoying if theyd had some show up throughout the series #and the miniseries shot them in the foot cause really it just shows that ash couldve had a rotation team the whole time and just…. didnt #For Reasons.#like. in the other regions it made sense. they were isolated and self contained #but if you werent gonna give him an actual galar team then literally why NOT have ash use his reserves #hes traveling the whole world doesnt it make more sense for him to have oak on call?#oh and then the miniseries didnt even show all of them…. he didnt even have a full team most of the time #and i love the oshawott episode but other eps felt so disrespectful to his pokemon #like when his swellow got turned to stone and ash barely looked twice. wtf #echoed voice

I love nuzlocks you get forced to use pokemon you would never use otherwise (especially in randomizers) and then you can chose out fun naming themes and have a fun little lineup of guys that you may or may not get to use and then there's the horrors

#rat rambles #anyways guess who started a white 2 randomized nuzlock and immediately got its ass handed to it by roxie #is this me being punished for not campaining for her harder on the fictional band bracket? Im so sorry roxie </3 #I straight up was preparing to have to reset like it got Bad #for some context; she had a brave bird spamming ho-oh #at the time my team consisted of a virizion blastoise tangela sableye and gligar #now I had planned on having my virizion (named nene) do most of the heavy lifting since most of my team was pretty pathetic still #but ofc with that fun 4 times weakness I had to change plans and since I had gotten volt switch tm early due to randomized items I had #already taught it to a couple of my pokemon so I was like ok. I will pull out an (my gligar) and volt switch into rui (my sableye)#in hindsight that was already a bad plan but yeah it outsped and killed an which I was distraught abt since I love both an and gligar #I wasnt quite panicking yet but I was worried but I still sent in rui since he knew volt switch too and I wanted to get a least a decent #bit of damage off before switching to haruka and playing the chipping game #it outsped. rui died. so I was like fuck fuck fuck is this thing just gonna sweep my fucking team #it didnt one shot haruka but it was critting range. I tried my best to heal stall but alas crit it did #at this point I needed nene to somehow kill this thing in one turn with only pathetic or not effective moves #I pull out double kick. it crits one hit and the other brings it to 1 hp. not dead. it kills nene #at this point I fully think Im fucked. I only have one pokemon left and its my weak ass tangela. I am fully prepared to reset.#I send out mafuyu the tangela. I see that last brave bird go off. and then I realize that I had forgotten something #I had randomized pokemon abilities #mafuyu had sturdy #and just like that. with 1 hp. I somehow managed to make it out of that gym alive.#in hindsight if I had known mafuyu jad sturdy I could have definitely avoided a lot of those deaths but welp. I didnt so.#and of course its fucking mafuyu that survived and that I am now unreasonably attatched to #I managed to rebuild a bit of a team before burg tho since they kindly give 3 encounters so now I have kanade the shelgon airi the pignite #and saki the whiscash which admittedly not ideal for me rn due to some miscaculations on my part of when mafuyu would evolve #and kanade has. the camoflague ability. like fuck man not on the dragon type #airi isnt bad tho as long as I dont kill her instantly she should make for a pretty reliable pokemon in these trying times #saki isnt. the best. but she isnt necesarily bad right now she just will probably fall off a bit later on #if kanade can survive to level 50 tho thatll be great I could use the power even if camoflague salamance isnt. great.#from my limited understanding of pokemon meta anyways dhdmgskdh
