I recently reached 8000 followers, thank you guys so much I love you all mwah!!! I keep thinking I wanna do these follower-milsestone-event-things but I kept getting distracted by other things, but not this time >:)

This is NOT a competition, it's just a thing to do for fun. There is also NO DEADLINE, so if you come back like five years later and decide you wanna do this then go ahead lmao. You also don't need to be a follower of mine of anything, if you just happen to stumble across this and wanna participate then go for it (it's not like I'm gonna check anyway lol)

Don't worry about sticking too close to the original drawing when you're making your own, you can change aspects of it as you see fit. The medium you choose to work with is up to you as well, but NO AI I will banish you to the shadow realm if I see any AI generated images I stg

We are happy to announce that Phase Two of our Destiel Draw This In Your Style Challenge starts today!

A little reminder about the rules of this phase:

In this phase of the Destiel DTIYS Challenge, everyone, signed up or not, can parttake. For this, a list of artists who signed up to have their destiel fanart redrawn can be found below. Everyone is then free to redraw their destiel pieces. The newly imagined pieces should then be posted under the tag #destieldtiys2024, with a link to the original artwork and an @ to the original artist. The artwork will then be reblogged to this blog.

For The Forgotten Ones is completed, I haven’t read the final chapter yet because I wanted to finish this first

Buddy thank you so much for this wonderful story, I know I keep saying it but it genuinely changed my life. I hadn’t been in the Undertale fandom since about 2017, it was my first fandom experience so it was very special to me, but I left it far behind. at the start of this year I stumbled upon Calcium-cat’s comic based on the first chapter, and I found my way to this fic and read I think seven chapters in one night LOL. I had to stop because it was so late, but afterwards I sat in the dark of my room and just, felt. this fic felt like the peak of the old Undertale fandom, it was almost overwhelming (in the best way). all these emotions and this energy that I hadn’t felt in years all came rushing back it was like magic. like rediscovering the meaning of life. I know that sounds ridiculous and cheesy but Undertale genuinely made me who I am, it was my first fandom, drew my first fanart and wrote my first fan fiction and went to my first con and made friends and discovered this whole community that made me feel like me. and this story is interwoven with all of that. it feels like Home.

because of this fic I gained the motivation to create SO MUCH art, my skills have developed so much and I genuinely love my art now when I didn’t really before. I’ve found my style bc of you :) I’ve also gained an actual following now that continues to grow which is a dream come true since I first joined the internet. and I’ve made so many wonderful friends, I’ve got a group that came together bc of this fic and they’re all such wonderful people that I may never have met otherwise.

I’ve still got so many screenshots and ideas to draw for this fic so I’ll be appreciating it for a long time still, but this is a thank you, a gift and an appreciation for all that you’ve done. you consistently uploaded a sizeable chapter EVERY WEEK which is INSANE, your dedication is so inspiring. you created a beautiful world and characterized all these popular characters so well, especially when mischaracterizations have become the fandom canon atp (looks at Swap Sans,,,) you did so much. you created a family we all adored, we laughed and cried and prayed and joked and created this wonderful community within a wonderful community just to appreciate your words. truly effing masterful. I love For The Forgotten Ones, I will print it out into a book someday soon, to put it on my shelf where I can see it always. Thank you thank you thank you I’ve said so many words and still I feel I have not expressed the depths of my feelings

This is my first time participating in a DTIYS and also my first time drawing Ed / Blackbeard! I have been in the ofmd fandom for a very few weeks and haven't had a chance (time enough) to draw everyone. Time permitting l'd like to draw two comics l've had in mind for a while these days...

hey gamers, i had the funny silly idea of perhaps hosting an art telephone event? i would probably have to create a discord server for it, but that’s a. later problem.

but anyway the way it would work is i guess i would draw the image we’re starting with, and from there someone else gets passed the image and they have to draw it! it gets passed on and so on and so on. it’d be interesting to see what details stay and what gets changed!

it’s basically a DTIYS on crack?

anyway, not sure if this is something i’ll actually do, but i’m throwing out an interest check regardless! i’m unsure if i would cap the number of participants, i may have to just because life gets in the way and people get busy, but this is something i’d love to host multiple rounds of! the first round would definitely be experimental

Draw This In Your Style event!

The art must be from the Wonderland AU or the Full Supernatural Akane AU:  In the wonderland au you can chose any outfit of any character that have been drawn. In the supernatural au, you can change Aka’s hairstyle/add hair accessories as you wish.

The pose can be changed completely on either au but there must be hearts in the draw as shown in the dtiys or on Aidairo’s heart arts (the hearts can be broken hearts, stitched hearts, melting hearts... whatever feels more fitting with the vibe you want, but there must be a few hearts in it). EDIT: THE HEARTS IS THE THEME, IT MUST BE AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE DRAW NOT BACKGROUND/DETAIL. CHARACTERS MUST INTERACT WITH/OR BE INFLUENCED BY PHYSICAL HEARTS.

You can draw as many characters as you want. If you want more than 1 character in a single draw (such as aka and teru or aka and yako / aoi with akane), or to draw for both aus you can do it! Platonic or ship art are both welcome

You can only win one prize no matter how many draws you do, but if you have more than one idea, go for it, there is no entry limit!

The deadline to post is on the 16th of August (8/16)
