AAAA I'm so happy! This fairy universe is so wonderful, you’ve thought about every detail with such care. I'm just starting to get to know it now, and I’m not sure if the information is already out there, but how did Killer and Nightmare become companions? At first, when I saw the posts, I thought Killer was only paired with Cross. I was so happy to discover that he was also partnered with Nightmare. I found this Killermare dynamic so cute!

It is hard to keep one’s eyes to oneself when the personification of autumn walks with such grace about the forest floor, and when darkened wings unfold to present a kaleidoscope of blues, pinks, and purples, even silver circles may appear in pools of black.

You might even say that skeletal fingers must conceal the deceiving flower that threatens to reform into a heart.

The story of a hybrid of autumn and spring vowing to dance and court until his wings fell off is one many fairies have heard of, and it’s to be admired, for Killer had set his soul upon whom he wished to bond, and either he would succeed, or he’d lay down to perish upon the next winter. Alas, the latter did – fortunately – not come to pass, for grace, speed, and agility made the queen of autumn unable to look away, and his eye were oft stolen away from different matters, instead focusing on the red fairy who not once showed signs of tiring from his quest.

And when Nightmare spread his wings and took flight to test the red fairy’s love, he’d come to find a worthy challenge to his own dance. So, he reached a hand for Killer to take, and together they danced beneath the white light of a silver moon that lasted beyond its night and well into the day, preventing the sun from rising.

The light of Sol would be kept at bay… Until Nightmare took Killer to be his king consort.

By the way, since I’m planning to create multiple comics for my AU, I’m not sure which ships I should include or whether I should just skip adding any (except for some implied moments between the adult Sanses, not the ship kids, lol). There are only four ships I’m set on including in the comic (kind of like... situationships, etc ), and those THREE ships are Killermare, Colorkiller, and Cream.

Cream is more like... eh... I’m honestly not too sure. I think they’d be cute together, but I might just keep them as a situationship or something.

Now, I’m going to be honest..I actually kind of like Killermare. 🤷 The dynamic is interesting. (I don’t support toxic or abusive relationships; I mostly want to incorporate some “canon” personalities for the characters. To me, I can’t see Killermare being a healthy relationship at all, and I want to experiment with that in this comic.)

Now, for Colorkiller: definitely one of my favorite ships! I REALLY want to include this ship mostly because they’re super cute, but they’ll most likely stay as a situationship for the most part, lol.

Now I want to talk about my plans for this comic! I really want to explore unhealthy relationships, dysfunctional families, and more! This comic will definitely have some dark themes and maybe even a sprinkle of violence. I mostly made this post to gather some opinions on the ships, but somehow it turned into me rambling about what I want to do with this comic, lol. 😭

It'll probably take me a while to start making the comic due to my EXTREME lack of art skills (and not knowing how to start a comic properly). So, yeah, I’ll likely spend a few more days experimenting with poses before I start drawing the comic, lol. This Post by @howlsofbloodhounds reminded me of how much I love one-sided crushes on Killer. And specifically my headcanons for one-sided Killermare. And I just need to share now.

Because, okay, I don't think Nightmare's feelings would be actual love or actual romantic feelings. Despite those having the capacity to be rather neutral, I don't think Nightmare would be interested in anyone that way (aro Nightmare is canon in my heart).

But he would over time develop a level of obsession for Killer. He's the only constant company he gets, the only one keeping away that dreadful feeling of loneliness that in the past tormented him. And he's a valuable weapon on top of it. Like, Killer could kick Nightmare's ass and probably would do so if his control ever slipped.

So at first, he wants Killer to think about him and only him all of the time because, well, he's a lonely motherfucker. And because he can't risk Killer thinking of others. That's the first step toward him leaving with someone else. Of course, this immediately escalates into jealous behavior as soon as Color enters the picture, whether or not his and Killer's relationship is romantic in nature, because now Killer has options. Now his thoughts don't solely revolve around him. And Nightmare doesn't like that. Killer is his property after all.

Killer in all of this is behaving like the perfect thoughtful partner. It's a survival strategy. He's afraid of what may happen if he doesn't play along. So he flirts with Nightmare, he puts on all his charm, he accepts all his gifts with a bright smile, and uses them all (the gifts are things like: a collar, a tracker, and a new knife so he doesn't have to use something from his previous owner anymore. And people say romance is dead /j).

It comes easier to Stage 2, as they have a certain detachment from it all. They wouldn't admit even to themselves how much this charade affects them, and, with their muted emotions, it's pretty easy to trick themselves into ignoring the discomfort. It's not easy for Stage 1. Stage 1 is about to have a panic attack any time Nightmare comes too close, and he's gotta somehow force himself into repressing that because Nightmare can feel it. Stage 1 is having a horrible time.

Stage 3 doesn't even try to hide its discomfort. It's not in its nature. If Nightmare comes close Stage 3 is gonna bite his face and it's not gonna let go. Stage 3 did not get the memo about what exactly their survival strategy is. All it knows is that Nightmare is danger and it's its job to protect the body from danger.

Stage 4 is somehow even more pliant than Stage 2. And that's because it's not doing it consciously as a manipulation tactic, but it's just following what comes naturally to it. And that's following the orders that its owner gives it. What it wants and its comfort is entirely irrelevant to it because they're irrelevant to its owner. (Someone please give this guy a lesson on consent. It's in dire need of one).

And I'm imagining that, once Killer finally escapes with Color, he's gonna throw all of Nightmare's crappy gifts back at him and throw it in his face that there was literally no way he could have ever liked him. This is gonna be the world's messiest break-up

There was one where color tried to get nightmare to learn what mortals need, that at first they didnt have a kitchen so they had to eat while they were out terrorising people.

Just stuff like that, n just generally being bad. Ripping the heart out of a childs chest infront of their mother, forcing someone to eat their pet etc.

Like nightmare is horrible yk

And yk how some people say he does that because of trauma, he doesn't know better and allat.

Okay so take ALL THAT, and let them learn nightmare can love, he has loved, he had a spouse and a friend group, he knows what mortals need, he knows what to do when they are sick he has taken care of his sick spouse before etc.

Basically im just thinking about their reaction when learning nightmare knows their needs, has felt love before etc. But he does it because he can, and it makes him happy (dude is def a sadist after them 999 apples ykyk)

Like obviously its also a fear of being vulnerable and stuff and needing to be the one in power because not being that scares him because villagers decided to hate on a 6 year old, but also he can just be cruel and sadistic 🤷‍♀️

I also feel it’s important to realize that there are those who don’t feel love, or describe themselves as loveless, and has never or would never do half of anything that nightmare has done.

but ultimately, i feel the ones who’d have an issue with it morally off the top of my head are swap, dream, color, delta, cross, epic. possibly many more but that’s my first thoughts.

killer definitely wouldn’t care about it. It’s the least of his concerns. hes too busy surviving nightmare to care about if the man is capable of love or not. he’d only care about it in Stage 2 if it means he could manipulate those emotions in his favor.

i have no doubt that the fawn response is something deeply ingrained in killer—whatever hes had to do to either survive, avoid inconvenience (stage 2) and pain (stage 1), or just whatever will get it over quicker or will make nightmare/chara leave him alone faster.

;would be interesting to explore how killers trauma responses would play out in the context of his dissociative disorder/stages. Especially in the context of one sided killermare where killer has to play his new role as nightmares lover. at most he’ll find small, easily deniable ways to inconvenience, annoy, anger, or upset nightmare. just because he can.

Murder and Horror, i find a little harder to say mostly because neither are exactly free from “sin” themselves so to speak, but they also arent killer; who has lived in this type of environment for years. killer does not have things like shame, anger, embarrassment, guilt, pride, morals, things like that—hindering him, he will do whatever he thinks he must. any emotions like that are greatly suppressed and dissociated—even in stages such as stage 1 where they’re very intense.

i can see this actually being something killer struggles to actually unpack and allow himself to feel in therapy—any anger or hatred towards nightmare or chara. i can see a lot of emotional outbursts from stages 1 and 3.

this is because killer has learned that emotions are dangerous, and wouldn’t get him anywhere. murder’s entire thing is fighting back in an endless loop against his human, and horror refused to be sacrificed to help his AU, fought back, and then went even further by destroying the core, lobotomzing alphys, and then leading Snowdin into eating humans seemingly just to spite Undyne.

I doubt they’d care at all if nightmare is capable of love or care or not, they’d probably not like him regardless. and whereas killer is unable to even really hate nightmare due to the danger surrounding such emotions (especially in stage 2, although im sure he’s very capable of despising nightmare in stage 3), horror and murder definitely could hate nightmare. which would mean their negative emotions are directly making nightmare stronger lmao.

First of all, don't consider this a break. Don't think that the reason Lunar was gone so long was because luar were on a break, that's not what this was. The main factor in our hiatus was the fact we were and are depressed, and did not have the energy to come online. This was not a conscious decision made on Lunar's part.

With that said, there were other contributions that kept us away from Tumblr.

For one, syscourse has slowly started entering the spaces we would be in. We ourselves have differing opinions, but generally consider ourself anti-endo. Lunar is explicitly anti-endo, and I, CJ, am more or less neutral with a preference of anti-endo.

Shipcourse had also played a role in our disappearance. When we logged on yesterday, just to browse, we were greeted by several posts on it immediately. Lunar, and myself and majority of the system, do not like nor condone com-ship. With that said, it is extremely aggravating to continuously be exposed to both sides of the argument, period. Shipcourse is not just about com-ship verus anti, however. But general discourse on ships such as, "Killermare", which I saw yesterday. Regardless of what side of the argument you are on, thosr expressing their opinions in extreme or aggressive ways has also been a factor, though only we are to blame for allowing ourself to be exposed to it so often. That, is on us.

Several people on this app has blantly ignored Lunar's boundaries. They do not want to say or hear "I love you" from anyone, minus luar family or boyfriend. (Inka, Italic, Myst, Zero, Rick, so on.) I should not have to speak on luar behalf, but lua are co-fronting by the time I've gotten to this paragraph, so I will. These boundaries have been stated several times, but never implemented in the pinned post, I will resolve this when I get to it.

Same for many other boundaries, several people have become overly friendly with them, direct messaging them when they have repeatedly request that people first seek their permission. These boundary violations will no longer be tolerated. If me, or another headmate must come closer to front to establish this, then we can and will.

Also, despite it being clear, I am rarely able to observe others respecting luar preferred pronouns. (Lua/Luan/Luar.)

I will make this clear as day: Lunar does not owe you an in depth explanation on why lua has been gone so long.

I cant remember who started it but I’m pretty sure I read about it on a Twitter thread some time ago?? My info could be wrong but what I remember from the general storyline of the thread was like

fell and dust are buddies (heh.) and dust visits underfell, but still ends up going home to wait for the anomaly, because he can’t be convinced otherwise.

fell gives him a collar/necklace thing he keeps with him.

he goes back to underfell one time and it’s😭 empty. Reds jacket is on the ground and everyone’s gone. WHICH SHOULDNT HAPPEN IN UNDERFELL. Devestated, dust takes red’s jacket and, eventually, leaves. He’s gone. he eventually gets yoinked by mr noot himself

AND meets horror obviously. Over time they hit it off😌

I remember some sort of thing between cross and dust, I think it was underverse related, where Cross feels bad for something he did and dust is just like 🤷🏽‍♀️ idgaf.

basically those two have a lot of clashing because cross is like. Insecure basically💀 and that makes horror mad because him and dust have gotten really close, and cross is JEALOUS and HSJSJS DRAMA. they work it out EVENTUALLY surely

I realize now an ask like this is probably asking for my opinions on the ship rather than yapping about hcs.... Personally not a big fan of nightmare ships! Just because of how I see nightmare I'm just not sure if he could? Even if my version of him is different then canon (you'll see him...someday). Idk my view of him is weird. For this, I'll just go with assumption Nightmare can love unlike the canon. For fun of course! I'm a canon bender what can I say.

Crossmare I personally have never really gotten. Their relationship is? Not good in anyway and I don't?? really see cross actually liking nightmare? Perhaps I just missed something but I believe Cross saw their relationship as transactional. Same goes for nightmare of course. I don't see it going beyond that. But like go off bro ✨

Killermare however I can see the appeal. As I said, don't really know much about killer. However, the head and the henchmen? Yeah, I like that trope lol. I like to think they have a sort push and pull dynamic that while yes Killer have a sorta...dependent relationship killer isn't like?? trusting of nightmare at first?? Eugh its hard for me to word but like... killer has a bit of pull back and isn't just... an softie i suppose? I see Nightmare actually enjoying the presence of Killer over other characters. They would have a spicy (not as in sexual though I love the hc that killer is asexual LMAO) dynamic though. There's probably a better word but I can't think of it rn. Unlike cross killer has more... uh? feistiness to him ig. Not that cross wouldn't have but I suppose I mean killer's words could actually have an impact on nightmare while I don't think cross could ever effect nightmare. Hopefully I worded that correctly. Also like... killer enjoys killing and cross doesn't? I find from what I've found (which is like two comics so far I'll finish it all someday...) of their canonical dynamic quite fascinating.

Errormare I can't really see either. I could maybe see them working together if they had too but only then. Especially since Error would be a PAIN to work with. Error would do that since he destroys aus and Nightmare wants to keep these aus around to feed off their negativity. Idk I feel like Error wouldn't listen to nightmare and that would annoy the hell out him LMAO! Maybe if they both went on a ✨ self care ✨ journey they could be like redemption bros or something

Yesterday, I saw a post about not making Killermare abusive on Tiktok. Checked the profile, of course it is an anti. I am just stunned and anti can take an abusive character and go 'nooooo stop making him like his canon personality!! Make him all nice and take away from the fact he is terrible!!'

Just so flabbergasted and stunned. Keep Nightmare out of your hands antis if you cannot handle the fact he is abusive in his source material. Just for this, I want more abusive Nightmare. Going to go read some fanfiction

this depends on my mood ig :/ I have to add that I am parts of other fandoms like fnaf, ddlc, batm, omori, and cuphead, so I’m happy to draw anything including those fandoms. You can ofc send me anything you want for me to draw but if I don’t feel like drawing it, then I won’t :/

Yesyesyes!!!! I love drawing ships and am glad to draw any utmv/ut/dr ships (unless it’s a problematic ship (also sorry but no, I’m not drawing dreammare)). My favorite ships are kross, horrordust, errink, kustard, afterdeath, destruction duo, crepic, and killermare (I’m always happy to draw any of those ships)

Yes :) But I don’t really think I can’t do this with deltarune characters since I wouldn’t really know how they would answer (I’m more of a utmv kinda person :/ )- You’re free to ask anything to the bad sanses, error sans, star sanses, Idol!Dust, and my sans OC, creative sans (I’ll post more about my OC later on)

Hi! I want to ask you, what do you think about the Killer x Nightmare ship?

Funny you ask ! I just happen to make a post on my instagram with these two !

Canonically, Killer is supposed to be Nightmare's only partner. And that's how I started to ship them (yes I don't need much...).

I like their dynamic of the Boss and his dumb henchman. I much prefer Killermare to Crossmare personally 🤭

There's a reason I don't post much about them. Indeed, this is one of the most reccomended ships in the fandom. There have even been some delusions abt it by the creators themselves (very funny btw XD). Maybe it's due to their important popularity that I don't draw them together because... I like uncommon stuff!

But it's a very nice duo that is really interesting to know !💚
