Russia's 'Baikal' benchmark compares Intel and Huawei chips
【Lansheng Technology Information】Russian CPU manufacturer Baikal previously launched the Baikal-S server CPU, which was hyped by local media as a challenger to Intel and AMD. However, CPU benchmarks from Russian news outlet CNews have now surfaced and present a completely different picture.
It is understood that Baikal-S was released in October 2021, when the first batch of engineering samples of the new product arrived in Russia from Taiwan's TSMC. The processor is manufactured using a 16 nm process technology, has 48 ARM Cortex-A75 cores, six channels of DDR4 3200 MHz memory - up to 768 GB per socket (128 GB per channel), and supports hardware virtualization.
The chip interconnect consists of three CCIX x16 interfaces; each lane runs at 16 Gbps. The set of I/O interfaces includes 80 PCIe Gen 4.0 lanes (48 lanes are shared by the CCIX interface), two 1 Gb Ethernet RGMII lanes, and a USB 2.0 ULPI.
Baikal-S was originally designed to run at a clock frequency of 2 GHz. The developers assumed that he would be able to work stably in more advanced modes, but they were later able to fully verify this by working on a serial board and achieving more efficient cooling.
Therefore, the indicators provided by the company will regularly take into account the parameters of Baikal-S with frequencies of 2GHz and 2.5GHz.
In terms of testing competitors, Intel's Xeon Gold 6230 and Huawei's Kunpeng 920 were chosen. Intel's Xeon Gold 6230 was released in 2019, with a design process of 14nm, 20 ARM cores, and a frequency of 2.1GHz. Baikal Electronics told CNews that the processor was chosen because of its similar performance and price to the Baikal-S at the time of the Russian chip's launch.
The Huawei Kunpeng 920 was released in September 2019, and at launch, the creators called it the "highest performance ARM-based processor." The Kunpeng 920 7nm process is the most advanced. The self-developed TaiShan v110 architecture is also 48 cores, with a fixed main frequency of 2.6GHz, a L3 cache of 48MB, and a thermal design power consumption of up to 158W. One of the reasons Baikal Electronics chose it was its similar architecture to Baikal-S - AWP V8.

RANK BANGTAN'S 34 TITLE TRACKS!
@joon-rkive tagged me in the hardest challenge i've ever had DFKJDJSF no but i enjoy it a lot, thanks baby!!
DISCLAIMER: I strongly believe BTS has one of the few non-skippable discographies and I really love every single song they've released and this list order can change almost every single day. Also they outdid the entire kpop industry i don’t even care
1. FILM OUT
Literal chills every single time I listen to it. The chorus always has me on tears, it's that little thing they do with [Kimi dake wo hiroi atsumete tsunagete] that kills me every.single.time. I'm sure it's gonna be in my top 10 in my spotify wrapped cuz at some point of the year I got obsessed.
2. SPRING DAY - 봄날
I’m sure this one is pretty self-explanatory, considering it might be BTS' best song in their entire discography. For some reason it stayed in the charts for so long.
3. BLACK SWAN
I put BS so high mostly because this fandom completely forgot about it (don’t worry I blame the pandemic mostly). Every single aspect of this song is literal art, from the lyrics to the beauty of the music video.
4. BUTTER
I’m an english-BTS-songs stan forever and ever, no english song can make me hate their discography and it includes these songs. Butter is the queen of their english era idec anymore, it hypes the shit out of me whenever I listen to it and whoever hates it can suck my di-
5. BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS
The reasons for this one? Idek, it scratches my brain in the best way ever.
6. AIRPLANE PT. 2
I like how it builds and the choreo. It also reminds me to my favorite BTS era ever.
7. FIRE
Hypes the shit out of me for good. I can’t stop watching the MV.
8. DANGER
I’m putting it high mostly because I denied this song for years (i’m stupid, don’t ask why) and when I finally made up my mind I hated myself for never listening to it. Good one for real and it hits so well
9. IDOL
BRING ME BACK TO THIS ERA GODDAMIT. That's all I can say really. No, kidding. The teaser already was perfect then the whole traditional instruments and the craziness of the beats just makes me wanna jump off a balcony (i’m in my charly garcia era)
10. HEARTBEAT
I’m not sure where to put this one but there's that one part, the bridge, makes this song rise automatically.
11. ON
Another hype one, it's lower than heartbeat because the bridge doesn't hit as much but overall I love listening to it.
12. MIC DROP
Can easily be put lower if you ask me. It's here because it was the first song I heard of them and the memories gives it that plus.
13. JUST ONE DAY
I learnt korean with this one SKDFLS no but seriously, yoongi's verse and the "yoongi-ah" gets me every single time. Could listen to it forever and ever honestly.
I think it was one of the first songs I listened after getting into them and that also gives it like a plus extra of reasons to be this high. Either way, it goes on so well and also the lyric and beat play with I'm Fine makes the original even better.
14. DYNAMITE
I don’t get how y'all can hate this one. I hate the remixes but the song builds so sweetly and their voices sound pretty cool with it. I like the retro style and the dance breaks for the choreos were so interesting and different. That's why I like it, it was different to other styles and their english voices are nice to hear every once in a while.
15. LIFE GOES ON
My mom calls this one the pandemic song and I laugh every single time. I think the comfort this song gives me makes it sound so good. It's always about the feelings their songs give me what makes me like them more or less. That happens with LGO
16. YET TO COME
MAKES ME CRY SM I really got freaked out thinking they were saying goodbye. Took me a bit to fully get into it and the hyundai version helped a lot.
17. SAVE ME
I think it was one of the first songs I listened after getting into them and that also gives it like a plus extra of reasons to be this high. Either way, it goes on so well and also the lyric and beat play with I'm Fine makes the original even better.
18. DOPE
AYO LADIES AND GENTLEMEEEEEN this is their queen of hype songs.
19. NO MORE DREAM
I only hate that weird sound at the beginning of the song and this kind of hip hop is not really my thing. It's higher than WABPT2 because aw they debuted lksdfsdkf
20. WE ARE BULLETPROOF PT. 2
It makes me laugh a lot for some reason, I just picture them trying hard to be bad boys in the recording studio and I laugh a bit. Anyways rapper jungkook is a FAVE.
21. FAKE LOVE
My first comeback omg. I remember the problem called "they all dyed their hair the same fucking color". Anyways, I prefer the rock version for some reason and I feel the song would have been better if it was that one the OG version. Also the "fakey" love part kind of still bugs me but overall I love this song.
22. I NEED U
I know how much it means to them but I can listen to it every once in a while. Not my favorite but easily one of their best songs. It builds very strongly.
23. RUN
Like DNA (yeah I have many situations like this), I love the song but I enjoy it mostly while watching the MV or a live performance.
24. NOT TODAY
HYPEEE. But again, like DNA, the choreo kind of outdoes the song for me. I like to watch the mv and listen to the song that way than only listening to the song.
25. EPILOGUE: YOUNG FOREVER
Only dropped it so low because I cry whenever I listen to it. Other than that, it could easily be higher. I just stopped listening to it cuz I genuinely can’t stop crying, I never get to finish the song
26. PERMISSION TO DANCE
Not their strongest english song KJFKDSJ if it wasn't sounding so high school musical-ish I would put it higher. I do adore the sign language dance move and how happy they look while performing it. Also, catchy as fuck anyways.
27. DNA
Probably goes low because I might have overplayed it a bit. With this one I priorize the music video and choreo over the song itself. They kind of outdo it.
28. STAY GOLD
Took me a bit to get into it because the chorus bothered me a bit, when all the voices kind of overslap each other while singing different lines (never my favorite type of resource during a song, happens to with Kiss of Fire by Hugh Laurie tho I love that song) but it's still good.
29. BOY IN LUV
I was never a huge fan of this one but I did have my obsession phase when I got into them. I like these songs were Taehyung would rasp his voice a bit tho I'm glad he's using it more like he did with Singularity.
30. BOY WITH LUV
I love Halsey but I felt she ruined the song even though she barely participates anyways. However, I only really enjoy Suga's verse. The song isn't bad but I got tired of it (enough to rank it this low, it still outdid the entire kpop industry idc)
31. N.O.
It was never a song I played too much for some reason. I do enjoy the chorus and oh shit the lyrics, I love their rebellious era.
32. WAR OF HORMONES
I had a phase where I listened to it religiously but after that I sort of stopped LKDLKS. It's still very catchy.
33. LIGHTS
Never really listened to it much, maybe only a couple of times.
34. FOR YOU.
Never really listened to it much, maybe only a couple of times. Before Lights and For You I prefer their B-sides.
i don’t know many armys i think i’m gonna tag @peachy-101 @christina-dh @jieunssi @senor-hoberto @jungkooks-princess @latenightjjk @sinatserendipity

Late March or early April, 2020 (~April 3rd):
Run 124 is filmed. BTS has to write down proposals for future run episodes. Tae is notoriously quiet and members hype him up by chanting his name, clapping only for him and encouraging him to talk. Jk is thoughtful towards him when writing his ideas.
When Tae stands to give his presentation, Jk chimes in on his looks / stage presence.
(Timestamp 6:55) - https://twitter.com/thetkunion/status/1348972172199428099?s=21
Tae explains he’d like them to form an orchestra. Jk corrects Joon when he misquotes Tae’s words.
(Timestamp 7:36)
After Jimin’s presentation, Tae is struck by a new, vaguely related idea. He then timidly offers it to Jk since he was the only one that hadn’t written anything down or presented yet - struggling to concentrate.
Tae plays with his ear as he waits for his reaction -
An appreciative “ohhh” comes out of Jk’s mouth and Tae asks about his opinion in a sheepish tone.
Jk deems it worth presenting and questions why he didn’t mention it earlier (Tae simply hadn’t thought about it before).
He grows a smile upon hearing Jk’s approval.
Tae tries gifting it to Jk but the latter shyly refuses. Instead, he insists on encouraging him to go back on stage and talk about it himself, followed by additional compliments. This is a moment of mutual consideration.
Shy stance -
Jk gushes about it -
(Timestamp 15:00)

Jk ends up suggesting a photo shoot as a run option knowing Tae would like that.

Raw Link (Timestamps): https://www.vlive.tv/post/1-20733123
Behind the scenes, they discuss forming a band. Due to Tae’s preferences, staff talks about the possibility of learning how to play the electric violin.
Jk likes the idea and finds humor in it.
He excitedly enacts the epic introduction of a violin solo while gesturing between him and Tae, followed by a sentimental performance - violin sounds included.
Light smirk -

Look this is my problem😭😭.
he said something good, personally to me, coming from a misogynistic ass nightmare of a country a celeb of his caliber saying he supports feminism would spark so much outrage (please don’t steam roll over this, it’s factual: there have been multiple incidents where celebs in my country were forced to apologize after saying they are feminists) IT IS bare minimum but it’s certainly going to create dialogue if a high scale celeb says it and so it’s not like what he said isn’t going to have any effect at all BUT the fandom acting like this is The Rapture and hyping a man up so fucking high for doing the bare minimum is going to be my joker origin story. HOW DARE YOU all act like this is something brave and courageous to do when a plethora of feminist activists fight for gender equality RISKING their lives!!? HOW DARE YOU act like this is the final answer to feminism in SK when there are plenty of women in that country still waiting for a painfully long time to have their abusers prosecuted??? The president was right there!! If he was the feminist icon y’all hype him up to be he would have had the spine to AT LEAST discuss the pathetic situation of women’s rights in SK especially as an envoy for SDG which includes gender equality as one of its goals.
well I don't think this is a great achievement or anything to be applauded so yeah armys really will hype bts up for anything even if that's the bare minimum. but they're conveniently silent about the racism in their own fandom?? did they forget armys fucking DOXXED black people on twt after yoongi sampled a genocidal cult leader in his mixtape? and then he fucking hid behind a company statement? did they ever acknowledge the cultural appropriation of native american items that happened less than a year ago and all throughout dynamite promotions??? did they ever acknowledge that their partnership with hyundai made them complicit in humanizing a fucking murder robodog that is used by police and military forces 😭 so yeah miss me with that bullshit
also I can't even see the tweet you linked lmfao 😹😹

When I think of Descendants of the Sun, the first thing that comes to mind is cheese! This show is extra cheesy, and honestly I love cheese! Unfortunately, I am also kinda lactose intolerant, so after eating a certain amount of cheese I am left with regrets, and a stomach ache. That's exactly how I felt after watching the last episode. *Cue the rage of a thousand fans* I think the biggest problem I had with this show is that it tried to mix in three genres without a coherent plot to bring it all together. It's part rom-com, part military drama, and part hospital sitcom. The love story is probably what makes most people excited about the show, the military scenes are a cool action bonus, and the hospital sitcom keeps things from getting too heavy and depressing. Unfortunately, because the script is so weak, I was too disconnected to keep caring about the show, and it started to become very boring. I kept watching for one reason only Song Joong Ki. Song Joong Ki is oddly cast in a lot of ways. He has a super baby face, and boyish charm, but still managed to be a believable bad@ss soldier. I would easily rate his character/acting 10. Not only did I develop a 16 episode crush on him, but I really cared about his assignments. The show would have been a million times more enjoyable for me if they just let his story be the center, or rather, the bromance between Shi Jin, and Dae Yeong. Their relationship was my favorite part of the show. Their characters didn't have much depth individually, but their bromance was solid. There is also great chemistry between Song Joong Ki, and Song Hye Kyo, but not much to their overall story. Every moment with them is exactly the same - they flirt, they separate, she gets mad, he's extra charming, they flirt again. Early on, I really started to dislike Dr. Kang Mo Yeon, which made it hard to sympathize with her anger at him. Eventually I started to like her a little more, but no matter how cute their flirty scenes, or how strangely amusing their brink of death dating was, their story is still repetitive, which gets old quick. The 2nd leads also had a romance, that had a few more obstacles thrown their way (parents, distance, almost dying), but was just as repetitive - fight, confess, spontaneous affection, fight. It's like each story just filled in the same blanks for each episode. It was actually the older minor characters who had the most interesting love story. I thought Seo Jeong Yeon and Lee Seung Jun were really cute, and deserve an honorable mention. The supporting cast was pretty good. Some were much better than others, and some were almost completely useless (the head of the hospital... that ditzy doctor... ugh). I had to bring the acting down to an 8 because of that, but the cast is really the only good thing this show has going for it. What was the point of this drama? At first it seemed like a way to show how hard it can be to date a soldier, but because the show didn't take itself seriously, it was hard for me to take that too seriously, even with that emotionally manipulative 15th episode. The conflicts at the hospital were ridiculous, and mostly filler. The best episodes took place when the medical staff went overseas to Urk, but once that was over, the show seemed to have no clue what to do. Did they run out of travel budget, so they decided to just wing it for the last episodes? Even in Urk, the plot was super predictable, and totally unrealistic, but it was still very entertaining (yummy Cheese!!!). When they returned, my feelings about the show went downhill, and I was no longer excited about watching the next episode. Then suddenly things got very serious out of nowhere, only to end with the silliest (and worst) last episode I've ever seen in any drama (yes THE worst!). I wonder if episode 15 was the original ending, and then it was changed last minute to avoid a backlash. That's the only thing I can think of as an explanation for why it was so bad. The music? meh. The scenery? epic. The english spoken? decent. The shirtless men running? Daebak. Would I rewatch? Not
unless someone makes an edited version of only scenes with Song Joong Ki. Overall It's like they rolled a kdrama dice and just threw stuff in at random to get people hooked, then they just focused on all the ways they can successfully incorporate product placement. Maybe that was the real point, to see how many ads they could sneak into a drama. Even though there were moments I really enjoyed, I can't recommend this drama, especially after sitting through that ending. I wish they cut it down to 10 episodes, removing all the unnecessary fluff, and sneaky ads (subway, hyundai, make up, coffee, snacks, hiking equipments, travel apps... umm... except for the self driving car, because that scene was actually cool ) then maybe it would be a drama worthy of all the hype. Or maybe you can treat my review like Lactaid. Now that you know what to expect, maybe you can better digest all the cheese this show has to offer.

SB19 Encounter
I would like to share my first encounters with SB19 and how I ended up becoming an A'tin 😎
It was on Facebook when I found out about this boygroup, SB19. I already forgot which exact article or post did I see them but most probably, it was from Myx Philippines or some Filipino news article. This happened between September 21-28, 2019.
A/N: Their Go Up practice video went viral on September 02, 2019, so it took around 25 days before it went into my feed. If I was a KPop fan, probably it popped out on my Facebook and YouTube way much earlier.
So since PPop was not really that hyped in the Philippines, I was amazed how the comments went in that post and the heart reactions outnumbered the likes.
That same time, while sitting on the window side of the bus going home, I checked them right away on YouTube and found the Go Up MV. I was smiling when I first saw it and thought to myself, "It's no doubt people love them."
Days passed and my exposure to this group became more frequent. I even heard of the 'Negros tweet issue' about them being accused as racists and 'Netflix PH Catch Up jingle' that they made for Netflix.
On January 15, 2020, I was watching a lot of One OK Rock live performances on YouTube because I was so excited that I got my ticket for their supposed concert in May. The official MV of Alab (Burning) popped out of my recommended videos and because I appreciate their talent, I clicked on the video and watched it.
That night was the birth of a new A'TIN.
I watched several SB19 vlogs after that MV, such as their reaction vid for Alab (Burning) and their interview with Tito Boy Abunda in TWBA. There I realized that they aren't only talented and attractive, but also they have charming personalities.
I spent the succeeding nights watching and laughing at their vlogs, enjoying every performances they had, and learning every details of the members. I even planned of going to Wish Music Awards because they were nominated in some categories, but unfortunately tickets were already sold out. I also wanted to go to PUP School Attack but it was a weekday and I couldn't leave the office. I was a 6-day old A'TIN that time.
The next event they had after that was the Samsung Event in BGC, Taguig City, which I luckily attended after several struggles that day, hustling at work and external meetings. Despite that, I came to the venue just in time alone with myself. I could never forget that most of the crowd were SB19 fans, holding lighsticks and banners. They even had groups based on their provinces.
Twenty minutes after their performance, SB19 decided to left the venue and I heard several A'TIN screaming and running towards them walking away from the venue. I also left the venue, but to my surprise, the dead end of my way was at the parking area where their van was parked. Many A'TIN circled around the van hoping that they could get greetings and smiles from the boys. I stopped and stood there few meters away before the van finally left.
While walking along the sidewalk, I came across an intersection and found their Hyundai van stopped. I shyly looked at the van while walking and saw Justin's silhouette. Yes, he was sitting beside the window and it seemed like he was talking to the other boys. After a minute, the van left but I still couldn't hide my happiness all through my way home.
I treated my mom and my A'TIN sister (I influenced her haha) for a Monday show in UP Fair in Diliman in February 2020. SB19 was one of the much anticipated acts that night. That whole day was also a struggle for me because I have company visitors to attend to and external and dinner meetings in the afternoon in Ortigas that lasted until 8PM! I came running to the Grab taxi I took and wished for the best. The traffic going to Quezon City from Ortigas, Pasig City was never a joke.
I arrived at the venue at 9PM and the queue before people could enter the area was astronomically long. I came in at the concert area and met my sister and mom at almost 10PM. There, the three of us waited for more than 2 hours before the boys performed.
During their performance, even though we could barely see the boys because we were at the back of the crowd, we really enjoyed a lot. They were explosive and their stage charm made the whole night memorable. After their performance, we decided to go home. I arrived in my place in Mandaluyong City at past 4am without caring about my office work that same morning.
----
I never regret a thing or two during the past 9 months of becoming an A'TIN for SB19 because I never thought I can make more friends in the fandom and I also never thought of fangirling over PPop aside from OPM Indie. It is a very refreshing habit for me. I even bought tickets for Dunkin' Donuts for their Araneta Coliseum concert, which was also a struggle thing to do because I need to leave half day out of the office to get my free tickets at the Dunkin' store from the farthest place of Pasig City.
I also never thought of having a Tumblr blog for them, creating a page for them, creating stan accounts on Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, and being more creative by editing and making pubmats. Never in my life that I thought I would do those things for a group. But here I am.. inspired despite the pandemic and my personal struggles.
As an A'TIN, I will never stop helping them reach for their dreams and I will never stop reaching for dreams that I know I deserve because it's what they have taught me.
If you were able to reach this end, I love you, fellow A'TIN. Padayon! 💕

JULY 2019 GOLD STAR MEDIA SCHEDULES & REVIEW
Members may earn 3 points each (up to 6 points) for writing, by the end of July 31 KST:
A solo para of 400+ words based on their monthly schedule (does not count toward your monthly total).
A thread of six posts (three per participant, including the starter) based on their monthly schedule.
Threads do not have to take place directly during an important date listed on the schedule, but must be related to what the muse is mentioned to be doing in the paragraph explaining their schedule/the company’s schedule for the month and/or their thoughts on the mentioned activities or lack thereof.
These schedules may be updated throughout the month if new information needs to be added.
Overall Company
Gold Star’s family concert is next month, so this month is full of serious rehearsals. There will be several days where all Gold Star artists spend the day at the building rehearsing separately and together in order to rehearse the family-like atmosphere in addition to the songs themselves..
Important dates
July 15, 18, 30, & 31: Gold Star Nation concert rehearsal days with all idols coming in and out to rehearse throughout the day.
Gold Star Soloist 1
She continues to have studio time for her next album as she has for a while, but the biggest change is the Gold Star Nation concert rehearsals, where Gold Star has tasked her with taking the lead on filming a small part of a behind the scenes video to be uploaded to Youtube following the concert. The concept of her being assigned the role is to show the senior-most Gold Star idol interacting with and taking care of her hoobaes during rehearsal.
Important dates:
N/A
Gold Star Soloist 2
The first concert dates of her South Korean tour have been set for September, so this month will be the beginning of serious rehearsals. Finally, progress is being made on her album too, with the mission to narrow down the set list by the end of this month as she’s brought in to record real versions of songs that have made the short list for the album. Gold Star has decided to go for a full album due to how long it’s been since her last album. She’ll also be appearing on a soloists-only special episode of Weekly Idol.
Important dates:
July 16: Weekly Idol Soloist Special filming (also appearing: Dimensions Soloist 1 and Gold Star Soloist 3, special appearance by BC Soloist 1, to air July 24)
Gold Star Soloist 3
He’s coming back with a single next month which means this month is comeback preparations before anything else. He has a break in his tour until after he’s done promoting his new single, so he’s Seoul-based for a little while again. This month, he’ll record the single and take promotional pictures, as well as appear on a special soloists-only episode of Weekly Idol.
Important dates:
July 16: Weekly Idol Soloist Special filming (also appearing: Gold Star Soloist 2 and Dimensions Soloist 1, special appearance by BC Soloist 1, to air July 24)
Silhouette
Now that they’re back in Seoul following their brief tour in Japan, the members are focused on finishing their Japanese comeback album Trouble which will release next month. Their title track has already been recorded so they could perform it, but they’ll finish recording the b-sides and film the music video that will accompany the comeback during July.
Important dates:
July 7: Trouble MV filming.
Aria
Aria starts off their month filming their beach-set music video for their comeback shortly before it releases and promotions for the special summer single begin the following week. Marketed as a special release for the fans, there’s not a lot of pressure for the song to perform or even an overly busy promotion schedule. In the absence of fan signs and radio or television appearances, they‘ll continue filming their Aria’s Parallel Universe series using the alternate lives they chose last month. The scenes will be mostly scripted with some improvisation opportunities and they’ll get individual scenes and scenes of their parallel lives crossing. (admin note: muns have creative license over the details of the scenes based on what career/lifepath the muse chose, but they should be realistic and similar to the scenes found here.)
Important dates:
July 1: Wag-Zak M/V filming.
July 7: Release of “Wag-Zak” & showcase, promotions continue until August 7.
July 27: Performance at 2019 Ulsan K-Pop Festival in Ulsan (also performing: Lucid).
Origin
Two weeks at the beginning of the month will be spent continuing their stadium tour before they return to Seoul. Upon their return without many public schedules, they’re in high demand again and will not only be filming CFs for two brands, but they’ll also be filming their Japanese MV and drama-like scenes for an upcoming mobile game, Origin World, slated for global release late this year along with similar music video scenes for an OST that will be released with the game. Their new Japanese singles come out at the end of the month to precede the Japanese leg of their tour early next month.
Important dates:
July 6: Speak Yourself Stadium Tour concert at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
July 7: Speak Yourself Stadium Tour concert at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
July 12: Speak Yourself Stadium Tour concert at Stade de France in Paris, France.
July 13: Speak Yourself Stadium Tour concert at Stade de France in Paris, France.
July 15: Lights MV filming.
July 17: Hyundai Palisade CF filming. (unit CFs align with line distribution)
July 19-29: Origin World and “Heartbeat” MV filming.
July 20: PLAY / UP CF filming.
July 31: Release of Japanese single album Lights/Boy With Luv.
Impulse
Now that album recording is finished, July is spent learning choreography, shooting the album jacket, and filming the music video. In addition to all of this and company concert rehearsals, the members also continue rehearsals for their own upcoming world tour. Impulse will be one of the groups spending the most time at the Gold Star building this month, with multiple over-nighters and endless meetings about the expectations they’re expected to reach to satisfy the company.
Important dates:
July 20: Eclipse MV filming.
Fuse
The final track list has been picked from the songs recorded last month, so, early in the month, the album jacket shooting will be done and the MV will be filmed in preparation for their comeback at the end of the month. The title track is experimental and risky, but Fuse has been assured that Gold Star is confident that they’re experienced enough to handle it and make it a hit in a way few other groups could.
Important dates:
July 4: Zimzalabim MV filming.
July 23: Idol Room filming (to air August 1).
July 24: Release of “Zimzalabim” & The Fuse Festival, Day One album showcase, promotions continue until August 24.
Element
Their appearance on Immortal Songs last month did bring Element some new attention, though not quite to the extent Gold Star had hoped. Still, they’re moving on to preparing for their Seoul concert next month on top of the company concert rehearsals. They’ll be performing many of their own songs, some classic covers, as well as two new unit cover stages. The main rapper/lead dancer and main vocal will be performing a cover of “Sriracha” and the main dancer/lead rapper and maknae/lead vocal/lead dancer will be performing a cover of “OMG”. (Admin note: In-’verse they didn’t already perform these at their Tokyo concert.) They’ll be doing a few scheduled VLives after and before rehearsals to hype up fans for the concerts and tease the set list without giving it away.
Important dates:
July 8: Group pre-rehearsal VLive.
July 23: Group post-rehearsal VLive.
July 29: Group pre-rehearsal VLive.
Femme Fatale
As the month goes by and Ddu-Du Ddu-Du sweeps music shows and remains strong on the charts, it becomes clear it’s Femme Fatale’s biggest hit yet and could even be a possible song of the year contender. On one hand, that confirms Femme Fatale’s place as one of the top girl groups and Gold Star’s most favored girl group, but on the other hand, it all but confirms Gold Star won’t give the group another comeback before the end of the year in order to ride out Ddu-Du Ddu-Du’s success and reap the monetary benefits. There’s a big focus on the radio circuit this month to push the song and push general public favor while also strengthening their fan base with fan signs, but they’ve also booked two big photo shoots, one for Vogue Korea and one in collaboration with Louis Vuitton. On top of everything else, they’ll be in the studio recording a remix of BEE’s “So Hot” that will be released after they perform it as a special stage at the Gold Star Nation concert next month.
Important dates:
July 1: Guesting on KBS Cool FM radio show.
July 2: Guesting on MBC FM4U radio show.
July 3: Photo shoot for Vogue Korea (August issue).
July 4: Guesting on SBS Power FM radio show.
July 5: Filming of Idol Room episode (to air July 16).
July 6: Fan sign in Goyang.
July 7: Fan sign in Seongnam.
July 8: Photo shoot and video filming for Elle Magazine x Louis Vuitton.
July 9: Guesting on SBS Power FM radio show.

July 28: End of music show promotions.
