(CHAPTER 2) Z=150: Righteous Science-user

The morning sun painted the sky in hues of orange and pink as the research team continued their journey through the dense forest. The events of the previous night still lingered in their minds, a mix of adrenaline and relief.

"So, there's another science-user..." Senku began, his voice barely audible over the gentle lapping of the river.

"Just like Senku, on the other side of the world? Someone who revived on their own?" Taiju asked, his eyes wide with curiosity.

"Ku ku ku, it's not like I put a patent on that," Senku replied, his usual smug grin spreading across his face. "Scientific knowledge is free for everyone around the world. Anyone can learn, if they want to."

"And like dear Senku, did this person start from square one with a dinky stone axe, all the way up to machine guns?" Gen asked, his tone laced with disbelief.

"This is all conjecture until we make contact, but...what we know for sure is...this is a scientist who managed to revive on their own. Plus..." Ukyo paused, his eyes scanning the horizon.

"Their science-user is a teeny bit more advanced than ours," Senku concluded, his voice filled with a mix of awe and caution.

As Ukyo's words hung in the air, a distant engine sound pierced the tranquility of the forest. The team exchanged worried glances, their minds racing with possibilities. Before they could react, the sound grew louder, accompanied by the unmistakable rattle of gunfire.

"Incoming!" Ryusui shouted, his voice filled with urgency.

The team ducked for cover as bullets whizzed past them. The river, which had been their peaceful companion, now became a treacherous obstacle as they were forced to navigate through the chaos.

Suddenly, a feminine hand appeared from above, clutching a gun. The team watched in horror as the woman fired, the bullets ricocheting off the water, sending them scrambling for safety.

The force of the gunfire knocked the team overboard, soaking them to the bone.

"OUCH! OWWW!" Ginro exclaimed, clutching his shoulder. Matsukaze, ever the stoic samurai, seemed unfazed by his injury.

"Never fear—'tis but a scratch," he said, his voice calm and reassuring.

"Protect me, Matsukaze!" Ginro pleaded, his fear evident in his voice.

"You're not even hurt, Ginro," Kinro chided his brother.

The sound of gunfire erupted once again, this time from below. Yo, his face contorted with fear and determination, was firing at the plane.

"You're just gonna keep missing, so stop wasting ammo," Hyoga scolded him.

"What other option do we have?! There's nowhere to run!" Yo exclaimed, his voice rising in panic.

As Yo continued to fire, the plane circled above them, its occupants seemingly amused by their futile attempts.

"Up in front of the sun!" Kohaku shouted, her voice filled with terror.

"They'll keep coming back, until we're sleeping with the fishes!" Gen wailed.

Senku, ever the calm thinker, had a plan. He quickly combined water and calcium carbide to form acetylene gas, which he gave to Kirasame.

"Kirasame! You've got one heckuva throwing arm! What do you need to put it to good use?!" Senku shouted, his voice filled with excitement.

"I need a stable footing! And some rope!" Kirasame replied, her voice steady despite the chaos.

With Taiju, Kohaku, and Kinro holding her steady, Kirasame threw the acetylene gas towards the plane.

"<What th-!>" the unknown woman exclaimed, her grip on the gun tightening.

The acetylene gas filled the plane's engine, causing it to sputter and die. The plane plummeted into the river, sending a shockwave through the water.

"We did it!" the team cheered, their relief palpable.

Meanwhile, the two occupants of the plane were scrambling to escape the wreckage. As they emerged from the wreckage, they exchanged glances, their eyes filled with a mix of amusement and admiration.

"<That was acetylene gas, harmless to people but it can stall an engine at a mere one percent concentration,>" the unknown man said, his voice laced with a hint of pride.

"<So it's one of them whatever weapons?>" the other person replied.

"<I feel like we learned about this,>" the unknown woman said, her voice thoughtful. Her hands on her hair to fix it from untangled.

"<It can be compounded from a simple mixture of water and calcium carbide, and calcium carbide is obtained by burning a charcoal and seashells and...>" the man continued, his voice filled with scientific enthusiasm.

"<Sure got it. Good lesson,>" the other person interrupted, cutting him off.

The man and woman exchanged amused smiles.

"<Now we know... that our enemies have sharp-witted science pros,>" the man said.

"<Just like you,>" the woman added.

The two individuals were (Y/n) Ambrose, an ex-model with a breathtaking beauty and a flawless figure, and Stanley Snyder, a former military officer who specialized in sniper work. Both had experience in combat, and their combined skills made them a formidable force.

"<I think we should call it a day for now, Stan,>" (Y/n) said, her voice calm and collected.

"<Alright, let's go,>" Stanley replied, his eyes scanning the horizon.

As the plane crashed into the river, the science team watched with a mixture of relief and apprehension.

"If they decide to come back with friends, we'd better skeddadle while we can!" Ginro said, his voice filled with fear.

But Senku and Ryusui's faces said otherwise.

"Run away?" Ryusui replied, his face contorted into a mischievous grin.

"What are you saying? We're gonna do the opposite of that," Senku added, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

"That's quite the face two are making!" Gen said, his voice filled with amusement.

"They get that way when they're in agreement, and it's bound to be over something bad," Kohaku said, her eyes wide with concern.

Kohaku approached the crashed plane, her curiosity getting the better of her.

"Nobody in here. Do you think whoever it was ran away? We could've interrogated them for some information," she said, her voice tinged with disappointment.

"Oh well... looks like they left something behind!" Senku replied, his eyes glinting with mischief.

"Indeed, finders keepers!" Ryusui added, his voice filled with anticipation.

"Ah... of course," Gen said, his face a picture of resignation.

Taiju, ever the impulsive one, began to cut down trees, his anger and frustration fueling his actions.

The team dragged the stolen plane down the river, their spirits buoyed by their victory. Senku and Ryusui celebrated, having captured a part of their enemy's firepower. As they drifted down the river, they knew that their journey was far from over. The battle for survival had only just begun.

summary: Y/n has been Chorme's best friend since forever, as such she grew up wishing that she and Chrome would be mates, however Chrome grew up in love with Ruri and wished for her to be his mate.

For as long as Y/n can remember she and Chrome have always been friends, something that would be normal since the village wasn't that big, but Y/n and Chrome were best friends. Always together. Both always there for each other. Y/n repeatedly running away from training with her brothers, Kinro and Ginro, to explore and hunt rocks with Chrome. She was there all the time. Taking care of him when sick, cheering him up, always being there no matter what the people in her village said. She loved being with Chrome. It was just so right. She came to love being afraid of thunderstorms, this was because as soon as Chrome found out, he was always there, as soon as a cloud was spotted he was by her side. Offering his embrace as shelter and she loved it.

She was afraid she was being foolish and thought she knew what love was. Yet what else could it be if not love? Because she was always there and if it wasn't love it wouldn't hurt. If it wasn't love it wouldn't hurt like a thousand knives when Chrome trusted her with his passion for Ruri. And it certainly wouldn't bring him to tears as Y/n watched Chrome grow with his passion for Ruri.

But Y/n was always there. And so she listened. She heard how Ruri's eyes looked like the sea and her hair shone in the sun, how lovely she was, how good she smelled, and how angelic her voice was.

It was when the tasting of the plant came that Y/n was flooded with hope, Chrome said it was spicy, but to her it was sweet. They were alpha and omega. They could be mates. That could be why Y/n loved him from such an early age and everything with him seemed so right.

A short hope that was shattered when she heard Ruri say it was sweet. Omega. Anguish flooded her as she saw Chrome's eyes sparkled with joy and hope. He must have been thinking the same thing she was. Alpha and omega. With the difference that the omega was Ruri. And Y/n accepted. Ruri was better suited, she had everything that Y/n didn't, she would be the priestess and next to her Chrome would be the village chief. She would be a better mate, over all because she had something that Y/n would never have. Chrome's heart.

And once again she was there for him. Listening to him fantasize about him and Ruri being mates and the life they could have. Their dreams of the future.

When Senku showed up with a cure for Ruri, Y/n and everyone else gave it their all until she was finally healed. It was after Hyoga's attack on the village that happened, Gen threw out a very direct hint 'Chrome is very dedicated to what he loves. I think any omega what you would like to have as an alpha don't you think Y/n?' it might have seemed like an innocent question to anyone, but Gen was a mentalist. And at that moment she knew that Gen knew of her feelings for Chrome, for a while he didn't mention anything and Y/n was grateful.

It was about a week later when Chrome came to Y/n at night, falling into tears the moment he hugged her, knocking them both down on Y/n's bed. And it stayed that way for a while. With Chrome crying his whole self out while Y/n hugged him, stroking his hair waiting patiently for him to calm down. As they get older, their scents start to develop and Y/n released his scent in waves of comfort to try and help Chrome. When this one calmed down he dropped the bomb 'Ruri and I kissed' He took it all in Y/n to hold back his tears, however before she could ask why he was crying since everyone knew that the kiss between mates just felt right and they would just know Chrome spoke again 'She's not my mate. And it wasn't even necessary for her to tell me. I could feel it myself, it didn't feel right. It didn't feel right in the slightest.' Y/n hugged Chrome more tightly 'I'm sorry Chrome'

It was true, Y/n really was sorry. If Ruri wasn't Chrome's mate then it was probably her. But she knew, it was Ruri that Chrome wanted and mate or not she couldn't compare herself to Ruri at all. She just wanted Chrome to be happy, but because of her fault he never would be. All because she was his mate.

That night Chrome fell asleep in Y/n's arms as she poured out all her love in the form of affection. She would love it if she hadn't been born this way. In the middle of the night Y/n awoke to a burst of scent. It was Chrome. For some reason it had presented itself, unlike omegas that presented themselves in heat alphas simply "exploded in hormones" and about six months later the routine would appear. With that Y/n eventually fell asleep in tears, for with Chrome's scent fully revealed she was sure. Chrome was her mate. But he didn't want her.

As time went on Chrome got better. On the other hand, Y/n began to be teased constantly by Gen. Chrome began to notice how Y/n constantly blushed at something Gen said, all the teasing and how the two eventually grew closer, maybe Gen was her alpha? That thought bothered him deeply and stopping to think about it further he had never speculated about who his best friend's mate would be. It was supposed to be someone from the village as she had once told him that she suspected who it might be, but had never shared who it was. But she only suspected.

Now with Kaseki's granddaughter as Senku's mate they knew that her mate could be from outside the village. It could be Gen.

Chrome decides that he would ask who this person from the village was. Of course the idea wouldn't bother him like the idea of it being Gen.

'Y/n?' Chrome found her near a rocky area near the mountain, she had the hobby of making paints out of flowers and painting on the rocks the most beautiful and varied designs. Sitting down next to her he says 'Can I ask you a question?' 'Sure' she replies without even taking her eyes off the huge rock wall 'Who is your alpha?' Surprising her with his question Y/n runs his finger all over the painting and makes a huge scratch 'I don't know' 'Bullshit. When we were younger you said you suspected who it might be. I wanted to know who you suspected'

'It doesn't matter' 'How does it not matter?' 'It doesn't matter'. Y/n insists and gets up to leave, but Chrome stops her by holding her wrist and insists 'How does it not matter Y/N?' Turning to him with tears in her eyes, some of them already shed she explains 'He want another omega, not me' Chrome frowns 'How do you know that?' 'Because he told me!!So it doesn't matter who it is much less that I love him with everything I have. Because everything I have isn't enough ok? So please let's not talk about this again' Y/n releases herself from his grip and leaves him there with his own thoughts.

What idiot would say he wanted another omega to his own mate?

The change happened over the winter and Chrome just wanted to kick himself for such stupidity. During that time he managed to get over Ruri, however he fell flat on his face by y/n. His best friend who was always there for him, now that there was no longer Ruri in his head it seemed that Y/n was glowing and Chrome realizes everything he couldn't see before. Worst of all was that he could now see that he never loved Ruri and only called her that because he didn't know any stronger feelings. But now he knew and he loved Y/n, his friend who had the world's biggest jerk as her alpha. If he didn't want her then maybe he could have a chance right? Chrome shakes his head to scare those thoughts away. She said she loved him, it would be selfish of him.

Finally one day while working with Senku on the phone a smell filled the air and Chrome knew. Mate. That was all that was going through his mind and with a simple look Senku understood. He had to go. As he made his way back to the village his thoughts were clouded by memories of Y/n.

As he followed the scent was getting closer and closer to his own, as he entered he followed the scent to the room meant for Y/n's rut. He knew very well where it was, as children they played there a lot and even after it was known that she was an omega they spent several nights there just talking and snuggling in each other's arms.

When he walked in and saw her there he was sure and everything finally fell into place in his mind.

Y/n was his mate. The omega he loved was his mate. Not only that, but she had been in love with him for years and all Chrome knew how to do was fantasize about another omega before his mate and even cry in his arms lamenting that his mate was not another. Leaving it to his imagination that he would never want her even if they were mates.

Chrome's tears fall like a river. He could never make up for all the pain he brought her. He didn't even deserve her.

Y/n looks at the door when she is overcome by Chrome's delicious smell. Just the smell of him was enough to soothe her pain. However, another huge kind of pain came when she saw Chrome's tears.

'I'm sorry' Chrome couldn't believe what he was hearing, he was the one who should be apologizing 'If it wasn't for me it would surely be Ruri. I know I'm not the one you want as a mate, but please forgive me. I'm sorry I'm sorry' Y/n's vision was so covered in tears that it didn't allow her to see into the room as she begged for forgiveness.

On the other hand, Chrome had never been so horrified in his life. An idiot was little to describe him. Here he stood before the omega he loved and was his mate, watching her cry and beg for forgiveness for being his mate. But that was it, he loved her and she loved him and even if it wasn't much he would give it his all to at least never see her suffer again.

He soon lands just above her remaining just a few sentiments away from her face and with just as many tears in his eyes 'Forgive me you for not seeing. Until recently I was so blinded by my idiotic passion for Ruri that I couldn't see. I couldn't see that I already had my mate with me all this time, I couldn't see that I was already loved or that I loved her and so I only made her suffer. I made her suffer so much that she believes that not even being my mate. I'm sorry mega. I love you I swear I love you and I am not saying this because you are my mate. I was so bad when I realized I was in love with you and I thought you were not my mate. How the hell could I have thought that? Everything with you was always so right because it was always you'

Chrome closes the gap between them and deposits a soft but passionate kiss on Y/n's lips. And nothing has ever been so right. Leaning his forehead against Y/n's, Chrome smiles 'it feels so right because you are my mate and I love you. I love you for you. I promise, I promise that if you let me I will be the best alpha in the world. I will make you the happiest omega in the world I promise' this time it is Y/n who kisses him but in a deep way and Chrome returns with the same intensity. When they part Y/n says 'I am already the happiest omega in the world. Because I have you as my alpha and you want me.

More tears fall from Chrome's eyes, he lies down on the nest, pulls her to his chest hugging her tightly and kissing her forehead 'I know the first heat is mostly pain, so I will stay here with you, I will mark you and then it will hurt less and pass faster. Then we can wait for another heat or as many as you want to mate and all that stuff, I really don't care. I just want to see you happy' Y/n laughs kissing Chrome's neck and he blushes 'You are a perfect alpha Chrome'

She was happy, Gen was right, Chrome really was a great alpha.

Chrome bit Y/n's connection point and let her mark it to him. They both licked their wounds until they stopped bleeding.

Thus they fell into a comfortable silence and fell asleep. With marks proudly displayed on their skin. They were mates, alpha and omega, Chrome and Y/n. And that was the way it should be, that was the way it had always been. Now it was right.

K so for this imagine- gonna be super short-

In the manga hyouga gets petrified while battling Moz right? Ok well what if Y/n has like the fattest crush and never got to tell him??? She’s a modern timer and has always been a fan of him and while part of tsukasas army followed him (from a distance) relentlessly!!!

When he’s re petrified Y/n stayed on Treasure Island, and everyday visits him and sits next to his statue of battle and confesses her love. Practicing and hoping one day Senku will need him once more and he can prove he should stay de petrified. Every day when she visits she always tears up and she loves to sit with him and tell her about her day hoping that he can hear but knowing he can’t hoping that he even has his conscience still. 

Y/N keeps track of him to make sure no parts of the statue are broken or lost. She keeps his statue clean of any elements, builds a small space to protect him from the weather, etc.

When she leaves she gives a small peck to his cheek and scurries off to finish anything she’s not done with in the village.

She’s spent more than one night at the feet of Hyoga while incarcerated in his stone prison. Yes she could free him but she knows it’s wrong and it could have fatal consequences.

Request:  I have absolutely fallen in love with your writing and especially your dr stone works. I was wondering if you could write one for Hyoga finding himself attracted to a revived fighter from the KOS, who constantly came to sit at the cell and talk to him about fighting styles and other types of things. Gender neutral is fine ^^

Hyoga sat one legged cross and the other being folded. Completely bored and tired on being on his cell for days already. Sometimes he'd hear Homura try to start up a conversation, but he didn't seem interested in any of it.

It felt like he was being imprisoned for years, it was getting hot sometimes too. If this cell was made out of glass he'd be bathing in his own sweat.

Which, by the way, is gross.

"Here's your lunch"

Hyoga looked up, eyes widen in shock to not see that Kohaku girl outside. But the familiar fighter he knew back in the day. Though it was all from those gossips, and rumors he heard when he walked by those two gossipping girls in the school gates.

Sometimes he thinks it wasn't a gossip anymore given that they can be heard all the way from the other side of the gate.

"Thanks" he murmured, taking the noodles into his hands and decided to eat it slowly. He was getting tired of the noodles sometimes, maybe something new would be better.

But what would he know, he was just one out of a 50 (maybe) modern people in that crowd of stone age village.

He eats to his hearts content because unfortunately, snacks aren't honestly given sometimes. His stomach would growl in the middle of the afternoon, hoping at least someone outside could hear.

He blinks, looking to realize that they were still outside his cell. By now, if it were Kohaku, she would've have left. But this person sat by their cell and sat there, waiting for something or maybe someone.

"What?"

They hum looking at him, blinking to wonder what he meant.

"What are you still doing here?"

They smile, to themselves they were happy that he was starting a conversation. Wanting to have one ever since they saw him in the Empire.

"Can I ask about how you wield your spear? Like that spin, it looks cool to try it out"

Hyoga blinks, surprised at the sudden question. He didn't know what to say, it was his first time hearing someone ask on how to wield a spear just like he does with his Kudayari.

He starts talking, for the first time in a while. Even Homura, who couldn't even make him talk was surprised.

"Oh, I have to go" they stand and proceeds to walk away with Hyoga staring at their backs.

"What a strange person" he murmurs, quiet once again.

"Good Morning!"

Hyoga opens his eyes slowly sitting up from his spot to reach for the food. He sat by the cell, eating his food like any person would do.

"Is there anything else other than fishes and ramen?" he asks glancing at them who sat beside him, eating as well.

They could only chuckle at him, shaking his head along with it. "No can do" they say with a smile "I don't have that much of a big brain than Senku, so I can't do that much other than meat— Oh!"

Suddenly standing up with a happy face they looked at him. Hyoga jumps, startled at the sudden action that they did.

"Is meat ok? I'll try to think of something"

"Can you even cook?"

They huff out in annoyance, "Of course I can, why are you doubting me?!"

He chuckles slightly, a smile that was hidden appeared on his lips that only he himself knew about. Waving his hand at them he says,

"Do whatever you want. Let me guess theres a catch?"

They gave a grin, and he could only shake his head in amusement. "Alright, what is it?"

"Train me"

"What?" he raised his brow, he thought all the instructions how was enough for them. He didn't expect they needed more than a discussion.

"You heard me" they looked a bit closer to him.

He could only sigh, a small grin before finally nodding in agreement.

"Fine, the meat better be good"

"I won't disappoint"

I saw that requests were open... I was curious if you could do a senku x reader where they were already dating in the modern world. However, he didn’t get to revive (y/n) before he had to leave for the village. So when questioned by Gen about romance, senku is all like, “I’m in a relationship already. (Y/n) is still petrified,” and everyone is like super shocked! You can add a reunion if you want but it’s up to you! Only specific is that (y/n) is preferably shorter than senku! I just thought it was a cute concept! It can be Drabble or head cannon - approach it however you feel is best! 💕

Gen was desperately trying to avoid his tasks. There was so much to do, and he was so tired...The first thing that came to his mind was to ask Senku embarrassing questions, hoping to distract him if just for a minute or two.

“So, Senku-chan, do you have your eyes set on a special someone?~” Gen purred while allowing his arms to rest. It made Senku's eyebrows raise and Gen truly didn't expect an answer from him. After all, that was Senku they were talking about...

“What do you mean? I'm already in a relationship, mentalist. (Y/n) is still petrified.” Senku replied as if it was obvious.

Gen, and everyone around who was eavesdropping, let out a shriek of stupefaction.

“Y-You're already in a relationship?!” Chrome screeched, pointing his finger at Senku almost accusingly.

“That's what I said. With Tsukasa coming into the picture, I couldn't revive them...” Senku started, feeling his heart aches, but he was quick to push it away. “Anyway, that's none of your business. Get back to work!” Everyone groaned in unison.

However, they couldn't deny that the sight of Senku looking miserable even if it was only for a second, made their heart drop in compassion.

To be honest, Senku didn't stop thinking about you since he woke up. Hell, he even couldn't stop thinking about you for all these years when he was still petrified.

At that time, the only thing on his mind was to revive you. But he was afraid. Afraid that you would be in danger, afraid that he couldn't protect you from what may come.

And when Tsukasa showed...the thought of losing you made him sick, and he knew that it was for the best to revive you later when everything was safe again.

That didn't mean he wasn't devasted. He was good at hiding it, but he longed for your touch and your kisses every second he passed without you.

But he told himself that your safety was what most mattered to him and that soon, you would be here again and then he would feel whole once more.

After the fight with Hyoga, and having to put Tsukasa in a cryogenic state, Senku was exhausted. No matter what Tsukasa did, Senku still considered him as a friend. And now, he had to do everything in his power to heal him.

And that meant no rest for him. They had to build a ship and revive a navigator that could lead them across the sea. They didn't have a lot of revival fluid left, and he knew he had to choose wisely.

But right now? Senku wanted nothing more than to find you and finally awake you from your petrified sleep.  

Maybe it was selfish of him, but every obstacle and every danger that they will have to face from now on, Senku wanted to brave them with you. He was drained, and even if he was grateful for every friend that he made along the way, nobody could comfort him like you.

“I think someone is waiting for you, Senku.” Kohaku suddenly told him, seeing how much the poor man was in need of your company. “Let's revive this (y/n)! I'm curious to meet someone that can handle your behavior.” She winked at him as everyone agreed, and Senku mentally thanked her.

It didn't take long to find you. After all, Senku couldn't forget where you laid.

Yuzuriha already made clothes for you, as Taiju stated that it would be inappropriate to see Senku's lover naked. And for once, Senku couldn't help but agree.

Dropping the revival fluid on your statue, everyone watched in anticipation. Senku could feel his heart beat loudly in his chest, knowing that after all these years, he was going to see you again.

And when the stones cracked, freeing your body, Senku let out the frail breath he was holding.

He watched how your eyes slowly opened, blinking in confusion, before meeting his gaze. Your face instantly brightened, sending him that lovely smile that Senku missed oh so much.

“Had a good sleep-” But he couldn't even finish that you were already in his arm, shouting his name in glee.

He chuckled at your reaction but held you tighter nonetheless. Senku buried his head in your hair, so nobody could see his watery eyes.

“I knew you would come for me!” You stated, before leaning into him once more and crashing your lips onto his, much to his delight. He missed the taste of your kisses.

He could hear the shocked gasps, and Gen shooing everyone away as to give you both more privacy. He could also hear Ginro's whine, “but I want to see them kiss!” and Kinro's embarrassed reprimand. He could feel you chuckle and he couldn't help but smile into the kiss with you.

Finally pulling away, Senku started to slowly stroke your cheek while you leaned against his warm touch.

“Of course I would have come for you. Who could have helped me save the world, if not you?” He whispered tenderly, and you smiled at his words.

“Then I guess we have a lot of work to do, huh?” “Ten billion points for you!”

A/N: This is right after Mirai was depetrified so let’s just imagine that there was some time before Hyoga decided to murk his ass. Also there’s a bit of Y/N’s backstory in there just to give context.

Distant giggles followed by high pitched barks from Suika’s little furry companion could be heard from a hill which sits quietly and timidly underneath the tall looming trees of the forest, a couple of metres away from Tsukasa’s mini kingdom. Chalk ran in circles happily, panting with a smile on his face after you had put a bright yellow nanohana flower by its ear. In its excitement, the flower flew off its head to the amusement of you, Suika and Mirai. Picking it up, you placed it back into the woven basket filled with various colourful and beautiful flowers you had collected earlier in the morning with them. You’re now sat comfortably on the grass chatting away about the different flowers you picked and saw as you and the girls weaved them into all sorts of cute accessories, seemingly unaware of the pair of deep brown eyes watching over you protectively....

Studying biochemistry with a minor in botany at a prestigious university, you were renowned for your participation in various groundbreaking research studies in your old life. You were acknowledged and depetrified by Tsukasa with the task of helping him build his empire, advising him on many things and assisting with survival. Because of your resourcefulness you were considered to be one of Tsukasa’s leading individuals alongside Hyoga, Ukyo and formerly Gen. However, like most you were never truly close to him, preferring to watch him from a distance like you had in your previous life, looking on as one among many of his thousands of adoring fans. Even now with no social classes or circles to separate you two, you couldn’t help but find yourself always behind him, following his incredibly charismatic and powerful lion-like aura. On many days you would find yourself trying to catch up with him but the gap never closed and the site of his wide shoulders leading into a strong back with well defined muscles never disappeared...not that you wanted it to anyways.

When Mirai was depetrified, you had seen a whole new side to the ‘Strongest Primate high schooler’ as if a wall built over many years had been torn down. Hearing how he worked tirelessly to keep his little sister alive made you admire him in a new way forcing you to grow an affection which went beyond the shallow levels of mere fan-like adoration. As for Senku, you felt as if you paled in comparison to the young genius who had done so much already for the village he lived in. Despite that you two struck up a conversation immediately after discussing all things science to the confusion of everyone else around you. But Tsukasa who held a tired and confused Mirai looked on as he watched one of his most trusted members smile like never before.

You took pity on Mirai who had just been revived and was still stuck at a mental age 6 years younger than her physical, so you asked her to help you gather different plants and flowers along with Suika who you felt would be an excellent guide and new friend for her. Which leads to where you are now, sifting through your basket organising what you collected while Mirai and Suika were weaving flower crowns.

“Now who is that one for?” you ask, curious as Mirai slowly puts the finishing touches on an extra crown.

“It’s for my big brother, but I’m not sure if it will fit since he’s grown so big since the last time I saw him” she frowns a little as she tries to adjust the size.

“Well you might be right because his biggg head might snap it in half” you lift your hands to place them inches away from the sides of your head to emphasize your point. The girls giggled hysterically and you did it too, happy to see Mirai open up a little more.

“Who has a big head?”

A deep voice startled you as it echoed through the woods, Chalk barked and growled in the direction it came from and you shuffled instinctively to the girls gearing up to protect them when a rustle from beside you drew your attention to the man behind the voice. You eased up a little bit as the man clad in deep red cloth and lion skin attire approached your little circle standing imposingly above the 3 of you.

“Big Brother!” Mirai shot up and jumped into Tsukasa’s arms, swinging back and forth as she giggled some more. “What are you doing here?”

“I was worried when I didn’t see you after a couple of hours all because you forgot to tell me where you were going.” he shook her shoulders playfully making her head bob back and forth.

She laughed a little “I’m sorry, I was just so excited to go flower picking with Suika and Y/N.” He looked behind her to see you look at your basket avoiding eye contact and Suika give a little wave hello.

“Well...” he sighed “I’m glad you’re at least safe”

“Oh and look!” she pulled him down to sit and grabbed the flower crown she had been making for him “I made this for you”. He bent down so she could place it on his head but as soon as he sat straight up all 3 of you burst out in hearty laughter as the small, cute and bright flower crown looked comical on his larger head.

“Y/N was right...” Suika said in between laughs “You do have a big head!” she fell to the side and continued snickering.

“Very funny but I just think this flower crown is too small, that’s all” He was unamused but he failed to hide his growing smirk.

“I can make it bigger, lemme just.....” Mirai looks to the side and pouts to see the vines she used to weave the crowns has finished. “Oh the vines are gone”

“We can go and get some more Mirai, I saw some not too far from here.” Suika says.

“Let me come along with you” you offer being slightly on edge now that Tsukasa’s large frame is seated right next to you.

“It’s okay Y/N, Mirai and I will be back just now” and with that the girls took off chattering and giggling with Chalk scurrying ahead of them. Unfortunately for you, you had never spent any alone time with Tsukasa and as much as you did like him he still intimidated you so this moment was ideal as it was scary.

“So you were saying I have a big head?...” His voice broke you out of your rampant thoughts and you slowly lifted your head to look at his face. Being this close you had never seen him look at you like this. A challenging look covered his handsome rugged features that lay upon warm tanned skin dusted with a little dirt and sheen of sweat from his earlier labours. His long rich brown hair cascaded past his shoulders with a single braid dangling in the front.

 He was gorgeous.

You froze for a moment before you spluttered “No! Well yes I said it but I didn’t mean it! I just wanted to make the girls laugh plus I didn’t want Mirai to feel bad for making the crown too small because... I mean- she forgot what you looked like, well not that she forgot she just hadn’t seen you in a long time and brain death is a lot-”

A short low timbre laugh stopped you in your tracks, “Thank you”

“Are- are you being sarcastic? because I don’t think having a big head is a good thi-”

“I mean thank you for taking time to make Mirai feel more comfortable. She’s been unconscious since before the petrification so she’s been nervous about interacting with others again.”

“Oh um...it’s no problem really, she’s a really sweet girl” You notice the vice grip on the flowers you held while you were rambling away and gently placed them on the ground before you. You adjusted the flower crown Mirai made you on your head while still avoiding eye contact.

“She is...” He watched as you smoothed your hair and went back to organising your plants analysing your being and engraving it in his memory because no matter how many time he’s seen you at his side, he couldn’t get over how breath-takingly divine you were. A collection of features he had never known could combine to form someone as rare as you.

Looking down at the multiple piles, a particular flower catches his eye. A large hand enters your sight to pick up a white gardenia, your eyes follow it until they land on his face again, this time he seems focused on making sure the flower fits perfectly and securely in the centre of your crown.

“There” he says patting it in place. His eyes drop down to look intently into yours “Beautiful”

You instantly feel heat gather in your cheeks and you internally panic, the little voice in your head begging you to break the eye contact but he’s got you locked in his gaze and you can’t seem to turn away. He breaks it for a second to pick up another gardenia and looks back at you again holding it in between you.

“Do you know what this symbolizes?” He asks, his face now closer than before waiting for your response. You rack your foggy brain trying to remember.

“Uh dreams, intuition and...friendship...”

You say that last word slowly hoping to not sound as disappointed as you were at the realization. It was foolish of you to think that maybe you two had a moment a few seconds ago.

“And....” He interrupts, placing the gardenia on his own tiny flower crown not letting his gaze go.

Summary: Tsukasa brings you back but you have no loyalty to him, with the opportunity to find Senku presented to you, you take it with both hands.

Senku had thought about you often, you were a friend that had been in the lab with him when the green light turned everyone to stone, you shouldn’t have been too far from where he was but he only managed to find Taiju in the time that he spent searching, he knew that he needed to go out and find you but given everything that was happening he didn’t have the time, he thought that maybe now that he was Chief he would have a little time but there Gen came with the news that stopped that “Tsukasa his coming and he’s bringing an army.” Gen smirked as he watched the party stop. “Well, that’s a bit dramatic.” You smirked as you stepped off the roof you were on, people seemed to become defensive and you put your hands up as you looked at Senku. “Do you know how many people told me you were dead?” He smiled. “Not enough it seems.” He answered as he looked over you, you seemed healthy enough, his eyes moving to the crudely made Kunai on your hip and the Katana strapped to your back. “I was going to look for you, we need your skills.” “You think I volunteered for this mission because I wanted to destroy an innocent village?” You asked. “We’ll talk after but right now, you need to start moving the people that can’t fight, they’ll be coming in from there.” You pointed to the bridge that pointed out towards the forest. “Wait who are you?” Chrome asked and you looked at him and smiled. “I think Senku used to call me the bodyguard.” You smiled “think of something Senku, I’m going to buy you some time.” “Do you expect to beat Hyoga on your own!” Gen shouted after you. “I expect to distract him.” You shrugged. “Ginro and Kinro will be there, they guard the bridge!” A female called after you and you gave them a thumbs up before continuing on your way, you bumped into a kid who looked really scared running from the bridge “are you Kinro or Ginro?” You asked. “Who are you?” He asked raising the spear and you looked at him. “I’m a friend of Senku, I had to come with them to find him but I’m here to help, they’re already attacking aren’t they?” You asked. “Kinro stayed on the bridge.” He answered. “Get back to the others I’m going to help Kinro.” You said as you moved pasted him.

It didn’t take you much longer to get there, but as you did you heard the others behind you, they were yelling about something and Gen was being unnecessarily dramatic, you were more concerned about the spear that had empaled Kinro. “I know this is a dumb idea but we want everyone to survive correct?” You asked. “You can save my brother?” Ginro asked and you looked at him. “I can sure as hell try.” You assured him before moving onto the bridge, this was more than likely going to get you killed given the fact that he was very good with that spear but you had no intention of letting anyone else die. “Hyoga, I am honestly getting sick of you waving that thing around.” You gestured to the spear he was holding. “(Y/N)... What are you doing?” He asked. “Betraying you, you should have known if you found him alive that you weren’t going to get much help from me.” You shrugged as you ducked under his strike swiping at his feet with the Katana, he stumbled back before Kinro was still holding his foot, the fall disorientated him enough that when you dove forward you were able to grab Kinro but given your position there was no way for you to pull him back onto the brdge, you glanced at Hyoga who was gearing up to strike again. “I’ll have such joy when I tell Tsukasa of your betrayal.” He sneered and you looked at him and shrugged. “I’m sure that he knew what he was doing when he sent me here, he didn’t trust me, he was testing my loyalty.” You lifted the Katana to redirect the strike managing to knock it off course but there was nothing more that you could do. “Let go of me,” Kinro said. “Nope.” You dismissed his sentence easily, “Senku called me the bodyguard for a reason and I promised you little brother that you’d be walking back over that bridge.” “Your sentiment will get you killed,” Hyoga said as he raised the spear again but before he could strike again, there was a loud bang that sounded like a gun. “Hyoga take the others and run this village already has guns.” Gen ran down the bridge past you “Hyoga we have to go it’s not safe for you here either.” “A working firearm so you must be him,” Hyoga said as he looked at Senku at the end of the bridge. “It was very considerate of you guys to wait for us to finish preparing, the kingdom of Science is ready,” Senku asked as he looked at Hyoga. “Huh… I’m sure Tsukasa will be delighted to hear that.” Hyoga said. “Pass on a message for me, tell him Ishigami Senku is still alive and we’re waiting for him with the 10 billion rifles we made with the power of science.” Senku goaded him and you sighed. “He’s lying.” You mumbled to yourself as Kinro looked at your eyes widening, either way, they left and a girl came over to help you lift Kinro back onto the bridge, while Ginro screamed about his brother being dead as he looked into the river as if he had fallen. “Are you okay?” Senku asked after he had gotten done with his haphazard treatment of Kinro’s wounds. “I’m fine probably just a couple of bruises.” You shrugged. “Hey, thanks for saving Kinro.” You looked over at the boy who had asked who you were before. “Friend of Senku’s is a friend of mine, been that way since we were kids.” You winked as you clapped Senku on your shoulder, he flinched as your hand connected with his clothed shoulder. “You’ve known Senku since you were kids?” The girl asked and you nodded. “Yeah used to be me, Taiju and Senku when we were super young and then we met Yuzuriha when we grew up a little bit.” You explained. “I’m (Y/N) (L/N).” “Kohaku.” She smiled, “it’s nice to have another female fighter.”

Later that night after everyone had finally settled, you had volunteered the keep watch with Ginro while Kinro was hurt, you smiled softly when you looked over and saw that Ginro had fallen asleep leaning against his spear, and you gently guided his body down to the floor and covered him with the cloak that you had on. “You're always so soft,” Senku spoke from behind you, you looked at him and shrugged. “He had a long day.” You defended yourself and Ginro as you walked back to your place on the opposite side of the bridge where Senku was standing. “How are they?” He asked. “They’re fine, Taiju was the one who convinced them to bring me back, he knew that I was with you so he knew that I’d be around here somewhere, he said that he explained my skill and Tsukasa decided that he wanted me in his empire.” You explained. “The moment I got back I knew that Taiju was hiding something, he was too quiet, he always wanted to put a smile on people’s faces, even if he was supposed to be mourning you, he’d still smile because you would want him to.” “So he told you?” He asked. “He told me as much as he could in the time that they would allow us to be alone.” You explained, “they still don’t trust them either, they don’t watch them all the time but they try to make sure that they aren’t out of eyeshot.” “And you?” He asked. “Like I said this was my test, I spoke to them before this mission, they decided that you needed a fighter, you needed your bodyguard.” You smiled. “They know you aren’t coming back.” He mumbled. “We staged an argument, it was loud and it was about you, we hoped that it would do two things, the first was allow me a reason to demand a place on this hunting party, and the second was to fool them into thinking the other 2 were worth trusting, they public told me that you were dead and that there was nothing we could do to change that.” “They’ll be safe for now.” Senku nodded and you sighed. “You have a plan?” You asked. “Of course.” He said softly as he stood. “Well then get some rest, you can tell me tomorrow when you tell everyone else.” You waved him off. “As bossy as always.” He teased. “Would you have me any other way?” You asked. “Guess not.” He answered as he walked back towards the village to go to bed.

Synopsis: Just a late night conversation between Senku and Y/N

A/N: Ahhh I’ve finally decided to finish this draft and actually post it. Will I actually become a fully fledged writing blog? Will I actually post consistently? Honestly idk. But please enjoy this (to anyone that actually sees it lol)  and my asks are open for any thoughts and comments.

"Staying up late again tonight huh?"

The thatched roof of the observatory was spread wide open displaying the deep blackness of the night sky sprinkled with bright white stars. The moon shone a soft silver glow, bringing a softness to Senku's tired and worn out features.

"When you're planning to revive all of humanity, sleep doesn't exactly take first priority." He gives a small smirk, his striking red eyes never leaving his work table.

"Well it should otherwise how are you going to help when you're going to sleep just as much as the statues you're trying to save?"

You set down a tray with tea. A herbal recipe known to soothe and ease the mind passed down from generation to generation in the Ishigami Village.

Senku Ishigami.

When he had first appeared, there was a buzz within your small village about an unknown boy who mysteriously appeared beside Kohaku. Despite knowing Kohaku for her rebellious nature, you did not expect her to put blind trust in someone she had never met before enough to want to bring them to her village.

Having trained with her alongside Kinro and Ginro as a village guard, you had always thought that Kohaku had a fiercely protective nature. Uneasily penetrable to outsiders. So you had watched intently as Senku instantly gained Chrome's trust through what he had called "science"(but looked much like advanced sorcery to you) and later the brothers’ trust as well.

Still slightly suspicious of his origin, you kept your distance, protecting your village from the inside and outside watching as they worked tirelessly on their sorcery. On the day of the Grand Bout, when his name and plan to heal Ruri was revealed, an unfelt before sensation of respect and admiration had settled in you as you thought back to all the times you'd watch him dutifully carry out various tasks to try and meet his goal.

From then on, you had joined the Kingdom of Science in a bid to aid the ailing Priestess and much to the village's relief, Ruri became healthy again. However the growing threat of Tsukasa and Hyoga's forces crept nearer and nearer and Senku's nights were getting longer.

Which lead to where you are now, watching as Senku's long and thin fingers dusted with charcoal methodically scribbled and sketched his plans out. Numbers and various symbols which you could not understand were scattered across the fibrous makeshift paper.

Taking a quick look around you saw many of the new contraptions Senku had built or tried to build at the very least. It made you wonder about the world that existed thousands of years before yours. What were people like? How did they live day to day? Did others like you really exist on different lands but at different times?

Lost in your thoughts, you drifted over to the open side of the roof of the observatory and looked up at the sky. A deep sigh left your lips and at this Senku's fatigued voice kicked you into reality,

"Spit it out"

"What?"

"Whatever's on your mind. You've got that look on your face that you get whenever a ton of questions flood that head of yours"

You look back to see that he's stood up fully now. His body leaning on the table in front of him facing you with both of his bandaged hands laid out and holding up him up. His signature two strands of ombre green hair dangled loosely in front of his face, behind them the two cracks caused by his de-petrification lead down like lightning bolts from his forehead to his vermillion eyes which stared at you intently.

You had always thought that Senku was wise years beyond his appearance. Even in his time you figured that he was a genius know-it-all. Which is why he always seemed calm and collected during the execution of his plans. If one way didn’t work out he was quick to sketch a new path. This always left you in awe but this made you wonder how he could stay optimistic about his plans. Especially in a world like yours, limited to what nature has to offer. But what made really made you wonder...

“Do you ever miss what the world was like all those years ago?”

“Is that it? That’s a stupid question, of course I do. I miss indoor plumbing, my old room, actual normal tasting ramen....”

“Not like that! I mean...do you ever miss just...living?”

He stopped his rambling and frowned a little, shallow creases forming around his eyebrows as he paused to analyze his thoughts, a small hum vibrating through the room. Ever since Senku laid the heavy burden upon himself to revive humanity and build the world back up to what it once was, you had always thought about how he carried it on his back every day and not crack under the pressure.

 He walked over slowly around the table to where you are, the floorboards creaking slightly and stood next you but not looking at you. Instead he looked up at the sky, a slight smile with a twinkle in his eyes as he recounted his memories. You stood in a comfortable silence together, a cool breeze flowing between the both of you until he spoke softly,

“Yeah I do...but what I’m doing right now is ten billion times more entertaining than doing homework.”

“Home...work....what’s tha-”

He laughed to himself, “Don’t worry about it, just know that right now...life couldn’t be more exhilarating.”

You glanced over to see him looking ahead, a full mischievous smile plastered on his face as he visualizes all the challenges in his way.

Satisfied with his answer, you turn back to the stars and imagine what your life would’ve been like 3,700 years ago.

They stood side by side, hands laced around each other as they joked and laughed around.

The two were like in their own world, their own reality. It was as if instead of having this tiring stone world, they had a world where it was just thw two of them.

Some people who would look at them would be proud, some would just pretend they weren't like that. And others ― like Yo ― were staring at them in envy.

Some like Hyouga just stared blankly at the sight.

Whenever he saw them, it reminded him the time that he two was like that. He was in Ukyo's place and instead of chatting around like him. Hyouga admired Y/N while they chattered.

He always loved the feeling of their hands on his. The laugh that would escape from their lips at a stupid joke they said.

But alas, this was reality. And reality just said they weren't meant to be.

Although, Hyouga was the type to not believe in fate or things that were already planned by God.

He could only stare at the two from afar. Unnoticed by everyone ― ofc, except Senku ― the longing gaze he had towards Y/N.

But it was his fault after all. They were tired, done and he didn't care.

All he could do now was play along with fate's plans. Longing for them, wishing that he didn't end it.

He wanted to stop them, maybe hoping that it was a dream as well.

He wished things rewinded back, that there was a pause button. Or maybe a time travel to tell himself that he was going to regret that shit.

But like I said, this was reality.

And he couldn't change that.

With a sorrowful and lonely sigh he walked away from the two wishing you the best regards.

Strangers |Hyoga

Content/s: After the stone wars arc, Hyouga already in his cell, realizing y/n was in the kingdom of science side

Pairing/s: Hyouga x Reader, slight!Gen x Reader

Hyoga sighed, defeated at the fact that he couldn’t do anything to convince Senku to join forces with him. Being locked up in the cell along with Homura whose cell was just beside him was infuriating.

He was pissed, beyond pissed at the fact that every people in the Tsukasa empire joined forces with the Kingdom of Science. Tsukasa was now siding with them, injured as he was frozen inside a fridge that he was surprised that there was one in the stone age.

But that wasn’t all.

How could he not realize sooner.

That familiar soothing voice, the facial features and the beautiful singing voice he was all too familiar with. 

Y/N L/N.

That’s right, the two used to be friends when they were just small children till Y/N had to move to another town when middle school came.

When Highschool came he soon found her in the net pursuing what she loved to do. Singing. Before when they were children Y/N would sing a song for both of them to sleep on sleepovers, and it managed to make both of them sleep peacefully.

He didn’t expect her to still be here in the stone age, the same as always. But for some reason she knew Gen, that annoying mentalist. Those two acted like they knew each other for a long time. Like Gen was there in their childhood days.

To be honest it pissed him at you two being so close to each other, laughing and sometime suffering in the same boat (well mostly Gen).

“Here you go Hyoga-san” Y/N says placing the dinner in front of his cell and Homura’s. Silence filled the air as Y/N stood up and left until a grab on the wrist stopped her from moving further.

“Aren’t you happy to see a friend?”

Silence filled the air, Homura and Kohaku (who was guarding them) looked at the two with curiosity of their relationship.

“All I see is a stranger” she says with a shaking voice. Maybe it was filled with regret, maybe it was filled with anger or fear. Who knows? Hyoga couldn’t tell at all.

All he knew was that he fucked up that day.

“I’m not interested to listen to you sing right now”

“But-”

“I said no!”

That’s right, he fucked up real bad back then. He was quite in the bad mood and Y/N was experiencing an awful day at the same time at the usual discouragement she’s been having. It was a bad timing for the two children.

He fucked up.

He knew she wasn’t going to befriend him again so easily.

She was too far for him to reach now.
