Hygge is like Esse but instead of being a demon of hunger she's more of a demon of being asleep. also Leo is here he's like a librarian or whatever. hygge is all about being comfortable and taking naps she's like a cat and is falling asleep all the dang time she's really cool. she learned the whole eating thing from emmie.

with the disclaimer that i’m saying this with my unremovable ted/rebecca goggles firmly on, for i can only be what i am:

i’ve been wondering for awhile if all the stuff the psychic predicted already happened with ted but rebecca just hasn’t realized it. (we’ve been over the matchbox men, the white knighting, etc.! also, i am a “drenched but safe”= “ted spitting sparkling water all over rebecca after they agreed to win the whole fucking thing?” truther, lol.)

one thing that makes me wonder if this might be the case even more after this episode is the direct callbacks being made to 1.02, specifically rebecca saying “fuck me” drinking the tea and then singing kenny rogers. 1.02 is the episode that set rebecca down the inevitable path of having great tenderness in her heart for ted despite striving for the exact opposite. so it was really interesting to see those things popping up again as she meets this almost magical, surreally perfect romance man! plus, the green soldier ted gives rebecca + the fact that boat guy was in the military, maybe?

idk, i just feel like rebecca keeps encountering all these dudes -- old loves and new! (and john wingsnight) -- in a way that might ultimately prove red herring-y.

anyway, my main point: why the 1.02 ted callbacks?? why those??????

Ptempest in a Pteacup Rework of a very, very old piece. Perhaps some of you remember it. It was pterrible.
